- 0:15and away we go see see see see Ladies and gentlemen. It's the Ron
- 0:41Edwards American Experienced talk show where our unalienable rights are celebrated. And now your
- 0:48radio refreshment. Ron Edwards. Good day, good day, good day.
- 1:21Hello. I'm Ron Edwards and you are listening to the Ron Edwards American Experience.
- 1:26Thanks for tuning in this day. Lots of stuff to cover. Man,
- 1:30it's kind of heartbreaking to see what's going on with the Donald Trump.
- 1:34President Trump. That is four hundred and fifty four million dollar bond could force
- 1:40real estate fire sale. The man built a business empire of real estate not
- 1:46only in this country but around the world and has been very successful. And
- 1:49because he dared to do right by our republic, this is why they're trying
- 1:57to hang him out to dry right now. This is totally unprecedented in American
- 2:00history. This is the kind of stuff you would see in other lesser nations
- 2:05like Banana republics. They're trying to bankrupt their opponent because the Democrats and Rhinos
- 2:14cannot come up with any ideas that are better than those that not only were
- 2:19proposed by President Trump, but actually were and acted on. And we benefited
- 2:25as the American people. We benefited mightily. The border was being secured,
- 2:30our economy was stronger. Let's see, America was once again becoming respected around
- 2:39the world. Lots of good things, you understand what I'm saying. And
- 2:45we were even getting respectful relations with our enemies, people like Kim Jong Un,
- 2:53Xijing Ping, mister Putin, etcetera, etcetera, etcetera. We were
- 2:59dealing from a position of strength. But here we are today. The United
- 3:04States is literally in a massive downward spiral, and we could end up going
- 3:09down the sewer of history if this is not brought to a halt in the
- 3:14near future. I believe in many, many millions of my fellow Americans agree
- 3:20that the November election will dictate which direction we take. But some other things
- 3:28are also dictating which direction our nation is or may go or may not go.
- 3:36One of them is what just recently happened the other day in California,
- 3:43Governor knew Some signed a bill intended to in so called discrimination against LGBTQ people
- 3:51in sex crime convictions, particularly with children. Discrimination against LGBTQ people and sex
- 3:59crime convictions will now be outlawed under a new law signed by Governor Gavin Newsom.
- 4:06Now what now, It depends on what you consider to be discrimination.
- 4:13If it means being punished for scenes that you did, I don't understand why
- 4:18that is considered to be discrimination. But people on the left now equate punishment
- 4:25for wrongdoing or immorality as being discriminatory. The measure. The measure is Sentate
- 4:31Bill one forty five, and it will amend existing state law that allows judges
- 4:38to decide whether an adult convicted of having sexual intercourse with a miner should register
- 4:45as a sex offender in case in cases rather in which the miner is fourteen
- 4:50years or older and the adult is not more than ten years older than the
- 4:56miner. So if you have a left judge, you know how they'll they'll
- 5:01rule. They'll say, ah, you don't have to be on this sexual
- 5:04offender list, go ahead and do your thing. So while that does not
- 5:13blatantly say well sex with minors is the law, but it does take one
- 5:20step closer to that, doesn't it. It helps decriminalize it, and they're
- 5:25trying to destigmatize it as well. And I think that some things like this
- 5:33are setting the United States for a big heap of heurt. You cannot continue
- 5:40to do wrong, legislate wrong, especially your moral acts like this, and
- 5:46expect to remain a great society. You can't do it because when you're making
- 5:53these kinds of decisions and they become a normal part of your lead system,
- 6:00which affects your judgment, which affects generationally how certain imoral acts are viewed by
- 6:08the people and the thinking processes, then the actions and the quality of actions
- 6:15continue to spiral downward, and that affects everything, not just this situation here
- 6:23with adults having sexual minors and being left up to a liberal judge whether as
- 6:28you should be on the sexual offender lists or not. That is some sick
- 6:30stuff. I believe in the biblical approach, of an adult has sex with
- 6:35a minor, something bad should happen to that adult. I mean real bad,
- 6:41permanently bad. But when you have a society that wants to decriminalize that
- 6:46gradually and legalize it and make it okay, that society is in big trouble.
- 6:51That society is cursing itself, and it is cursing its future generations.
- 6:57Because like I said, once you poison the water of the thinking processes in
- 7:04one area, it spreads like a disease. It's like putting a drop of
- 7:09bad of poison in a glass of water. It doesn't separate and you can
- 7:13drink one half of the glass of water. It's not like it's like it's
- 7:16a solid thing. But it impacts everything. And this is why I keep
- 7:21saying over and over again on this broadcast that we the people have to come
- 7:26together. It's time for us to get a little Craig Cray. If we
- 7:30are not for this evil, we have to start standing up in unison and
- 7:34speaking out against it. We cannot allow our children and our children's children to
- 7:41be harmed in such a way. We cannot allow that to be normalized.
- 7:45No, no, no, for the good of our nation. I'd like
- 7:47to know what you guys think about this, but it's horrible stuff. Got
- 7:53a great guest coming up today. Her name is Julie Kelly and she is

- 10:58Eight hundred four five two one two seven eight. Eight hundred four five two
- 11:03one two seven eight. That's eight hundred four five two twelve seventy eight from
- 11:22the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. This is Tom Caldwell, innocent January sixth,
- 11:26defendant and proud Navy veteran. You're listening to the voice of reason, Ron
- 11:31Edwards on the Ron Edwards American Experience. Yes you are, I'm Ron Edwards,
- 11:39Sanda, Welcome back and Today We've got a great guest. Her name
- 11:43is Julie Kelly. She is the author at The Federalist and she's a political
- 11:48commentator and senior contributor to American Greatness. Kelly covers political and policy issues,
- 11:54including the January sixth investigation and what has been going going on with that.
- 12:01Well, let's welcome our guest, Julie Kelly. Hello, and welcome to
- 12:05the Ron Edwards American Experience. Hey, Ron, thanks for having me on.
- 12:09I just want to let everyone know I'm not as a Federalist or American
- 12:13Greatness anymore. People can find my work at my substack declassify with Julie Kelly.
- 12:18Okay, I'm just going off the information I have here. I apologize
- 12:22for the mistake there. Okay, No, we just want to let people
- 12:26know where they can find my work also at Real Queer Investigations. Excellent,
- 12:31Thank you so much for that correction. Well, we both know one individual
- 12:37that, in my opinion, that has been wrongly treated in concerning the j
- 12:41six situation, Tom Caldwell, and there are many many others who have been
- 12:46brutalized in the American gulogs. Just before we get into details, I want
- 12:54your opinion on what this portends for our country, because this is something that
- 13:01you find in third world nations and banata republics and things of that nature,
- 13:05and this happening here in the great United States of America. What is this?
- 13:13How do you think of what do you think about this? Well?
- 13:18I've been covering the events of January sixth and the prosecution since really January twenty
- 13:24twenty one. I wrote a book on it January sixth. How Democrats use
- 13:30a capital protest to launch a warrant terror against the political right, which is
- 13:35of course what they've been doing. So the case of now is reaching one
- 13:39thousand, four hundred defendants. They're arresting people every day. The Department of
- 13:43Justice is on pace to arrest a person a day this year now, more
- 13:48than three years later. So it is a It is the sort of thing
- 13:52that you never expected to see in America where they're not just trying to imprison
- 13:58the former president and you know, Republican nominee for president this year, but
- 14:03his aide like Peter Nabarro, who had to report to Miami prison today for
- 14:09being convicted by DC jury of contempt of Congress for failing to turnover records to
- 14:15the illicit January sixth Democrat January sixth Committee, and as well as his voters.
- 14:22So I think most Americans are, at least the ones on the right
- 14:26recognize that this is a really slippery slope, dangerous descent into Banana Republic style
- 14:33territory that is not stopping. It's only going to get worse as twenty twenty
- 14:39four goes on and we approach election day, is there a way to really
- 14:46stop this? And the reason why I ask this is because, unlike other
- 14:50countries, we have written blocks to these kinds of activities. So it's called
- 14:58our constitution, it's called our building rights, and they're and they're in federalist
- 15:03papers. Everything is written out in detailed what the government should do, what
- 15:07it should not do, our unailable rights, et cetera, et cetera,
- 15:11et cetera. It seems as if that it the the the leftist have taken
- 15:20control of all the levers, of all the power leavers, and no matter
- 15:24what is written in our constitution, what, no matter what we the people
- 15:28know or care about, they're just saying yang yang and yang, Yeah,
- 15:33I'm doing what I want to and there's nothing you can do about it,
- 15:37what say you, Well, unfortunately, that's right. I mean I've been
- 15:41covering these core proceedings and trials and sentencings since you know, the prosecution started
- 15:48in the spring of twenty twenty one. And the real villains here are the
- 15:52federal judges in Washington, DC at the district court level. This includes Trump
- 15:56appointed judges all the way down to Reagan appointed judges, if you can believe
- 16:00it or not, and they are not fulfilling their oath of office, which
- 16:03is to protect the rights of the defendants and make sure that the government stays
- 16:08in line, that the Department of Justice is not abusing their authority and prosecutorial
- 16:14overreach, which is precisely what they have been doing since day one. So
- 16:18the problem is the judges are not respecting the constitutional rights the Bill of Rights
- 16:23defendants or first A for the fifty six stay eight eighth A protections. In
- 16:32fact, they are systematically disassembling those rights when it relates to Trump supporters or
- 16:38people who dare to protest on January sixth. So you know, the Constitution
- 16:45does not, for the most part exist in these courtrooms. I've seen it
- 16:48over and over, so you know, it's really something when I started covering
- 16:56these trials and court proceedings, was absolutely floored to hear these judges, what
- 17:02these judges and prosecutors were saying and doing so. Unfortunately, the Constitution is
- 17:07no bulwark as a defense for these really mostly helpless defendants viepers. Do you
- 17:14think that I know you said that things are going to get worse, but
- 17:18do you think that by getting worse that will create a ground swell finally from
- 17:26amongst the people of this country or will there be a large enough ground swell
- 17:30to force the government to back up, or is it just too late or
- 17:37we're just under the bootheel that will just finally crush us. I mean,
- 17:42this Department of Justice is not going to stop. As I said, They've
- 17:45accelerated the investigation and the prosecution, continuing to round up and arrest nonviolent offenders
- 17:52to add to this caseloads. So the DOJ and the judges are not going
- 17:56to stop. But I do think that they're one. I do think that
- 18:00there is, you know, definitely grassroots support to especially you see this support
- 18:08for Trump and for Republicans. They want the funding cut off to the DOJ
- 18:12into these offices and federal courts. They want this to stop. It doesn't
- 18:17mean the DOJ is going to do it, because they're not. But I
- 18:21think this will be part of Donald Trump's support. He's already said, there's
- 18:26reporting this week that he is going to make January sixth a cornerstone of his
- 18:30campaign. And so you really see, at least I see the tight attorney
- 18:34In terms of the narrative. The Democrats and regime media do not control the
- 18:38narrative of January sixth anymore like they used to. So that is one little
- 18:45delight of hope. Yeah, and that also gives me hope. And I
- 18:51think that I agree with you on that. I believe that is the days
- 18:56go on. Since the political left, and that includes the Rhinos, they
- 19:03don't have better ideas. The only thing they have in their favor is the
- 19:07powerful leavers of government. And I think that people are going to grow weary
- 19:11of that and increasing numbers, and that will be what will enact the turn
- 19:19against the turnaround, because the people will rise up in such a massive way
- 19:25because their decisions are not just affecting Donald Trump. They're affecting all of us
- 19:30in one way or another, indirectly or directly. And I think out of
- 19:34that misery will arise and awakened and strong people. What say you, I
- 19:41hope so I hope that you're right. As I said, I think the
- 19:45people on the right are starting to recognize this and become very set up and
- 19:48infuriated over it. But I also know that there's half of the country,
- 19:53or forty percent of the country Democrats who'd love to see us all in a
- 19:56gulag, regardless of our actions or whether it was justified, simply for the
- 20:00fact that we support, or people support Donald Trump or Republicans conservative viewpoints.
- 20:10That is who the left and the Democratic Party has turned into. Yeah,
- 20:14and you're right, though it's frightening that in fact, I can say that
- 20:19I have known people in my life that are more in favor and I know
- 20:26this is going to sound retarded, but they're more in favor of the destruction
- 20:30of the United States as we know, rather than Donald Trump being re elected,
- 20:37and they would rather live in misery because they hate that man, and
- 20:41they hate true liberty, they hate what's good about America. And these are
- 20:45people I'm talking about that were born in this country. What constitutes such a
- 20:52level of mental depravity? Where does that come from from? Your angle.
- 20:59I mean, I don't know, know. I mean a lot of it
- 21:00I think is like any leftist movement or a political party, it's born out
- 21:04of power and control over people. So I think that that's where a lot
- 21:08of it comes from. You know, it's hard to look into individual people,
- 21:14and I think it's beyond Trump. I think, you know, we
- 21:18saw this sort of contempt certainly for Ronald Reagan. We saw a lot of
- 21:21contempt for George W. Bush, especially after the two close call the two
- 21:25thousand election. So it's not necessarily new, but now that it's taken a
- 21:30new stage in terms of using the justice system, using the legal system in
- 21:37such an expansive way. Whether it's j sixers, whether it's pro lifers,
- 21:41whether it's someone who posted a joking meme about Hillary Clinton and how to vote.
- 21:48You know, this is or rounding up, you know, people who
- 21:51filed lawsuits or people who wanted to submit nothing unlawful, submit you know,
- 21:56an alternative state of electors to the National Archives or send them to Congress.
- 22:03There's nothing illegal about that, but it doesn't matter because this DOJ knows how
- 22:07to take big statutes in the law and weaponize them and criminalized political dissent in
- 22:15a way that we'll have that is already having, but we'll have very long
- 22:19lasting repercussions for the country. We're coming towards a heartbreak. Do you have
- 22:26a couple of minutes on the other side of the break, Ron, I
- 22:30actually don't. I'm sorry. I just got back to this side of Florida.
- 22:33I've got a couple of other interviews, so i apologize, but I've
- 22:37got to jump off. Thank you so much and for your time, and

- 24:03Robinson, Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina, for securing the Republican nomination to run
- 24:07for governor of that great state. Hello, I'm ron Edwards on today's pace
- 24:11from the average no book brought to you by Constitutional Grounds Coffee. The more
- 24:15I learn about and listen to the very moving speeches of North Carolina Governor to
- 24:19be Mark Robinson, the more I'm reminded of two other great Americans, my
- 24:25own Dad and Frederick Douglass. All three men suffered racial injustices in their youth.
- 24:30Frederick Douglas suffered most as a slave before deciding to take matters into his
- 24:34own hands and secure his own liberty. But throughout it all, Douglas sought
- 24:40providential guidance and learned to fight for the freedom of all men and inspired President
- 24:45Lincoln to unshackle blacks from slavery. Mark Robinson overcame the drudgery of poverty and
- 24:52the sting of Southern Democrat racism to where he now lives. Like Frederick Douglass
- 24:56long ago as a successful warrior for true liberty and an unwavering man of faith
- 25:02in God, love for his family, and appreciation for our republic. Like
- 25:07my own dad, Mister Robinson inspires others to be the best they can be
- 25:11and always seek to improve matters rather than want to kill, steal and destroy
- 25:15our republic. Here's to you, mister Robinson. I'm run at works.

- 26:52Ron Edwards the new voice of America. We are back. This is the
- 27:17Round Edwards American Experience. I'm Ron Edwards, and you know I've always I
- 27:22learned a long time ago, even when I was just a lad growing up
- 27:26in Cleveland, that it's not what is done or what is said, but
- 27:33rather who does it or who says it. Over the past weekend, President
- 27:38Donald Trump was campaigning and near Dayton, Ohio, and he warned that without
- 27:45fierce new United States tariffs on China made evs, the American auto industry would
- 27:51face a bud bath for the country. Now when he said that the leftist
- 27:56media, gumps and rhinal Gumps went to Nutsville calling for his head basically because
- 28:03he dared to say that, and they were trying to infer that he met
- 28:06there would be blood in the streets. Ladi Dadi da right. Of course,
- 28:11anyone with common sense understood that he was talking about in economic blood letting.
- 28:17Well, guess what, my friends, guess what the CEO of x
- 28:21Ping Motors of China. His name is he Xiaping. Again, he's the
- 28:29CEO of Xping Motors. Guess what he did. He said, I predict
- 28:33a blood bath against America's auto industry with the help of cheap China made electric
- 28:38vehicles. Bamo. Now he said this today. Are you hearing the news
- 28:49media and other you know in talk show hosts on the left side, Are
- 28:56they going to Nutsville talking about the blood bath in America? No, because,
- 29:02like I said, it's not what said, but rather who says it.
- 29:04Donald Trump meant the same exact thing. And if the Republicans are smart,
- 29:11they will use this man's statement in some of their messaging. But now
- 29:19that remains to be seen how smart Republicans will become when it comes to messaging,
- 29:26because they have the better ideas. But boy, oh boy, have
- 29:29they've been lacking over the years when it comes to messaging, putting themselves behind
- 29:33the political eight ball. Well, it seems that the Supreme Court did lift
- 29:40a little bit of good news. There is a ray of good news,
- 29:42my friends. The Supreme Court lifts the stay on the Texas law that gives
- 29:48police powers to arrest illegal border crossers at the border. Isn't that nice?
- 29:53Yes? It is. A divided Supreme Court has lifted a stay on the
- 29:57Texas law that gives police brought powers to arrest illegal border crossers suspected of crossing
- 30:03the border illegally while a legal battle over immigration authority plays out. I'm so
- 30:11happy they did that because they've got to elect they. I'm sorry they have
- 30:15to arrest these individuals that are coming into our country illegally. I say,
- 30:21I say, put them on an island somewhere. You want to come on
- 30:26American soil, you you want to be here, Well, guess what you
- 30:30can have an island. And I'm not talking about a tropical island. I'm
- 30:33talking about an island off of the northern coast of California, which nice and
- 30:40Chile all the time. Alcatras and there's a few other islands out there.
- 30:45Yeah, and that's what we have to do. And then and you know,
- 30:48if it were up to me, you know what I would do.
- 30:52I would publicize all over the world via the Internet, print media, et
- 30:57cetera, et cetera, come to the United States illegally at your own risk.
- 31:03Yeah, Aleutian Islands, Allution Islands, that's perfect, Doug is my
- 31:07producer. That's a great place to put the illegals. But I would start
- 31:14with Alcatraz. I'd reopen that place. Hey, look, there's a building
- 31:19for you already. You have a nice place to live on American soil.
- 31:23But I would publicize to the entire world you're coming to the United States illegally
- 31:27at your own risk. They God have mercy on your souls if you come
- 31:33here illegally in your caught and that's it. And I would also have visitations
- 31:42with certain government leaders around the world and tell them it will go bad for
- 31:48you if you can send if you continue to send your vermin human debris to
- 31:55our republic, it will not be good. My friend, we can be
- 32:00friends or we can be enemies. It's up to you govern yourself accordingly,
- 32:05be wise. And I'm sure that if President Trump gets into office, returns
- 32:12officially. You know, those kinds of things will be said to foreign leaders.
- 32:22But I'm looking at these pictures here at the Texas border of my friends.
- 32:25It is heartbreaking. It is very, very heartbreaking. And so if
- 32:37you know, and you know, we can all say, we can all
- 32:39armchair quarterback. But see, here's the thing. I know. The Governor
- 32:45Abbot of Texas, Mike Johnson, Speaker of the House, Between the two
- 32:50of them, there's a lot of authority. And remember, let's not forget
- 32:54recently it was ruled in a court of law that Texas can go ahead and
- 33:04build a border. Remember that, so Governor Rabbit should be hard at work,
- 33:15or have others hard at work at building that border and making life very
- 33:22miserable for illegal border crosses. I would not offer them a bottle of water.
- 33:29I would let them know before they get here, you're not going to
- 33:30get water. No telephones, no nothing. If you want to hang out
- 33:37in Mexico, that's between you and Mexico. Trump did that, and things
- 33:45were getting better and better and better and better for our republic. And I
- 33:51was listening. I wasn't listening. I was watching a news talk show,
- 33:57A few days ago, I forget the name of the show was pretty forgettable
- 34:00because you had these Democrat oriented individuals arguing that because it wasn't basically perfect under
- 34:10the Trump regime, the situation was totally broken, and now Biden has improved
- 34:21it. And I'm thinking, my gosh, they must really believe that the
- 34:24American people are just totally retarded because the reality of their situation. You can
- 34:32now look at cities that I mean like Pittsburgh, where you're starting to see
- 34:40a block here, a block there, a believable border crosses home homeless,
- 34:45homeless people hanging out and building their tents. Payne Avenue in Cleveland, near
- 34:53downtown. They're starting to creep in there. No longer can we here in
- 35:00the North rely on a nice whole you know, nice cold winter to kind
- 35:07of thin the herd. Can't rely on that anymore. But we should rely
- 35:15on the law and common sense, and for the good of our own existence
- 35:22as a nation, we've got to have these people kicked out. They're bringing
- 35:27over all kinds of diseases. I mean, Polio was just about wiped out
- 35:32of the United States, wipe out. It's back. The plague, it's
- 35:42back leprosy. There are cases of leprosy. It's here, and it didn't
- 35:52those things did not start drawing among people born in this country. It was
- 35:58it's being brought in. And these people are being shuttled all over the United
- 36:04States at our risk, and now they're carting them out to the nice suburbs
- 36:12because this is part of the effort. My friends, I remember, gosh,
- 36:16I wish I could remember that. It was a Democrat politician. They're
- 36:20not in office anymore, but they used to talk about making life uncomfortable for
- 36:25Americans in general, just making it just unbearably uncomfortable because certain areas were bad,
- 36:35and they say, well, we're going to make it's going to be
- 36:37like that for everyone. That's that's part of the effort of Black Lives Matter
- 36:42Antifa, make life a pain in the backside to everyone spread the misery rather
- 36:51than coming together and get rid of the misery and the creation and the reason
- 36:55for misery in our country. They're all about this is what they talk about.
- 37:00When when they when they say equality, this is what I'm talking about.
- 37:06What they're what they they plan to do. They want to make everyone
- 37:08equally poor. They're not about equal opportunity for Americans. That is why Tyson
- 37:15Foods could lay off thousands and then turn around and say, you know what,
- 37:21We're going to build a larger plant in another state, and we're going
- 37:24to hire thousands and thousands of illegal border crossers. It's all about putting down
- 37:31Americans and bringing in our replacements. So I asked you, my friends in
- 37:44this country, what do you want to be done about that? What do
- 37:49you think should be done? I know what should be done, But the
- 37:53politically correct on our side, and you know, the squeamish, they would
- 38:01just rather oh no, oh, you can't do this, You can't do
- 38:05that, while they do everything to us. How crazy is that? And
- 38:09that's also steeped in Christianity too. Christians will have their little cliques and they'll
- 38:16attack each other and try to undermine one another like crabs in a bucket.
- 38:22But Lord have mercy when it comes to fighting evil and focusing on teaching children
- 38:28about real principles so that they can have a better life under the protection of
- 38:30our creator. Oh no, can't do that. And I'm speaking from observation,
- 38:39not imagination. It is what it is, but we talk about what
- 38:46it should be because it's about improving our quality of life in this republic.
- 38:52We don't stand or stick on the problems, but we the people need to
- 38:57come together and work on the solutions and stop the madness. And we'll continue
- 39:05when I return on the Ron Edwards American Experience. You're listening to the voice

- 41:52you're going to change directions here just a little bit. We're all familiar with
- 41:59these sixteenth Amendment of the Constitution. Right Well, we are in tax season
- 42:07and nobody really likes paying taxes, especially since most of our taxes are unconstitutional
- 42:13and at least in my opinion. But where do the federal income tax come
- 42:19from? How did it start? Now, we know that the sixteenth Amendment
- 42:23did not create the federal income tax, which is wrong. However, my
- 42:30friends, the sixteenth Amendment did fundamentally change our beloved Republic. As April fifteenth
- 42:37approaches in the not too distant future and people spend valuable time and money on
- 42:43filing their income tax returns, it is worth our time to look at the
- 42:47source of our paying Remember how Bill Clinton said, I feel your I feel
- 42:53your paying. Well. Plenty of people grouse and complain about paying income taxes.
- 43:00Most don't realize that the cause of their pain is the actions of the
- 43:06States back in nineteen thirteen. Yep. Woody Woodrow Wilson was in office at
- 43:12that time. He was a wicked soul, and when the States ratified the
- 43:16sixteenth Amended stupidly, they did more than just help the Feds collect income taxes.
- 43:22They fundamentally changed the Republic. Yep, they changed the Republic for the
- 43:28worst. Nobody I know likes overpaying taxes like we do today. They are
- 43:37necessary evil if we are to have a stable society. And yes, but
- 43:44we don't have to pay taxes at the level that we do just to feed
- 43:49the giant government, which just uses most of our tax dollars in a wasteful
- 43:55manner. So the most common questions debated are who pays taxes and how much.
- 44:01The more important decision is who decides those questions. Back in seventeen eighty
- 44:10seven, when the Constitution was drafted and it was ratified, the framers of
- 44:15this Republic understood the need to collect taxes, so they delegated the power to
- 44:21tax the Congress. They said, Congress, you shall be the ones to
- 44:25collect the taxes, but with some very specific restrictions. Aha, the Congress
- 44:32shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts, and excises
- 44:38to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and general welfare of the
- 44:44United States. But all duties, imposts, and excises shall be uniform throughout
- 44:51the United States US Constitution, Article one, Section eight, Clause one.
- 44:59Go check it out RNs. Yes, Congress can collect taxes. Duties,
- 45:04imposts, and excises are simply different types of taxes that Congress can collect.
- 45:10But notice how there are only three things Congress can collect taxes four three one
- 45:16two, three, one to pay the debts of the United States, two
- 45:22for the common defense of the United States, three and for the general welfare
- 45:28of the United States. That's it could put. Notice also that Congress can
- 45:34only collect taxes to be used for the United States. Capital U capital shh
- 45:44a proper noun for the entity known as the United States. This is the
- 45:50very same proper noun used in the Tenth Amendment to say the powers not delegated
- 45:55to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibit by it to the States,
- 46:01are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people, meaning you
- 46:07and I, uh oh, what about Amendment ten of the United States Constitution.
- 46:15Now there we see that our first big heaphn problem. We the people
- 46:20have not held Congress to collecting taxes only for constitutionally authorized purposes. As Alex
- 46:28Diteufel said long ago, the American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers
- 46:34that it can bribe the public with the public's money. Congress has discovered how
- 46:40to bribe the public, and oh how they have used it. However,
- 46:45for the first century or so, there was a serious impediment to Congress's ability
- 46:50to overtax the people. It was the Constitution, then you have direct taxes.
- 47:00Also, representatives was established in Article one, Section two. An important
- 47:04little phrase was included. Representatives and direct taxes shall be apportioned among the several
- 47:12states which may be included within this Union, according to their respective numbers.
- 47:17US Constitution Article one, Section two, Class three. Not only were the
- 47:22seats in the House to be apportioned to the states by population, but so
- 47:29were direct taxes. Uh oh. A direct tax is usually a property tax
- 47:35or add velorum by value. Now that tax has opposed to an indirect tax
- 47:45imposed upon some right or privileged such as a franchise tax. Or how about
- 47:53let's see property taxes, now direct tax It's not that Congress couldn't impose any
- 48:05direct taxes, only that they had to apportion those taxes to the states.
- 48:10If Congress were to pass a tax on the value of your property, your
- 48:15estate, or even your income, they had to divide the tax up amongst
- 48:19the states based on their population and have the states collected as we will see
- 48:25in what we have seen. This is extremely important since it places the states
- 48:31between the people and the United States federal government. Now, the income tax
- 48:39did not start with the sixteenth Amendment. It started in eighteen sixty two to
- 48:44fund the Civil War. Since it was consistent revenue streams, the income tax
- 48:51was sold to the people with the warning that it was necessary, the promise
- 48:55that it would be limited by a person's income, and were scheduled to expire
- 49:00in eighteen seventy. However, that did not make it constitutional, most likely
- 49:06due to the urgencies of the war. Though this tax was never challenged in
- 49:12court. And see, that's one of the things that government does to day.
- 49:16They either create or utilize a catastrophe, a bad event, et cetera,
- 49:23to bring up more regulations, more taxes, and then sell it as
- 49:29a necessity, and then the people buy into it as if, oh my
- 49:37god, we'll follow off the face of the earth if we don't adopt this
- 49:43new rate. Allow them to adopt this new regulation or new tax, and
- 49:49the only thing that has happened is now we have what thirty four thirty five
- 49:58trillion dollars in debt because all they wanted to do is taxes to the gills.
- 50:04The way the tax system is set up, it is guaranteed to literally
- 50:08economic economically destroy this country and keep us in such straits that now both adults
- 50:22in a household, they've got to work just to keep the roof going,
- 50:27just to keep everyone their bellies fall, keep the lights on, etcetera,
- 50:31etcetera, etcetera. Originally, it was meant that only one person needed to
- 50:37go out and work, the father, Mom stay home take care of the
- 50:39children. The leftist and government rubbed their little chiny chin chins and said,
- 50:45hey, you know what, we can start whittling away the unity of the
- 50:50family by producing a situation where it is a necessity and it becomes accepted by
- 50:59mom and pop for both having to go and work. And at the same
- 51:05time, you decrease the value and the spending power of the dollar. Ah,
- 51:10so you need many more dollars just to buy the same thing that you
- 51:15could buy in nineteen sixty four. And it just goes on and on and
- 51:17on and on, and we keep putting up with this over and over again,
- 51:22and every administration, even the good ones, continue to allow this debt
- 51:28system to pile up on who not only just us, but our future generations.
- 51:35And now it has gotten to a point where, hey, we could
- 51:38be facing the last generation of American greatness. There's a lot more that I
- 51:45like to share about this sixteenth Amendment and the man the ongoing problems, but
- 51:54I don't have time right now. Now that I see that my time is
- 51:58up, thank you so much for your time, and as I always say,
- 52:04this time, remember to pray for your nation, she needs it.
- 52:07Pray for your family, your friends, you're in enemies and make sure they
- 52:10get it right and treat others the way you would want to be treated.
- 52:15My friends, I'm Ron Edwards. Until next time I know, I show
- 52:23you to change order change your should, make a new connection to everyone.
