- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, that was Anthony Fauci taking the Fifth Amendment one
- 0:03Speaker 1: of one hundred and eleven times during the Senate Homeland
- 0:06Speaker 1: Security hearing, refusing to answer any questions about what Fauchi
- 0:10Speaker 1: knew about the COVID pandemic. Afterwards, the committee voted to
- 0:13Speaker 1: hold him in contempt of Congress. Here's Kentucky Senator Rand
- 0:16Speaker 1: Paul with me right before the hearing.
- 0:20Speaker 2: We know that the initial estimate by the scientists at
- 0:23Speaker 2: the CIA was that this came from the lab. They
- 0:26Speaker 2: agreed with our supposition, but Anthony Fauci was able to coerce, cajole, persuade,
- 0:32Speaker 2: and dangle money to get people in the intelligence community
- 0:36Speaker 2: to change their vote. It's a pardon that goes over
- 0:38Speaker 2: ten years and doesn't have specific crimes. The only other
- 0:41Speaker 2: pardon like this in the history of United States would
- 0:43Speaker 2: be what Hunter Biden received, and there's been a lot
- 0:45Speaker 2: of questions about that.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Well, now three states have pursued Fauci investigations and subpoenas.
- 0:53Speaker 1: Among them, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeyer is looking into
- 0:56Speaker 1: whether Fauci personally benefited financially or professionally from decisions he
- 1:01Speaker 1: influenced while serving at the National Institutes of Aid. Importantly,
- 1:05Speaker 1: Joe Biden's preemptive pardon of Fauci is executed on the
- 1:09Speaker 1: morning that Biden left office, just hours before President Trump
- 1:11Speaker 1: took the oath of office on January twentieth, twenty twenty five.
- 1:15Speaker 1: That does not protect Fauci from state law exposure. Joining
- 1:19Speaker 1: me now, the man himself, Florida Attorney General, James Uthmeyer
- 1:22Speaker 1: and age, thanks very much for being here, and let's
- 1:25Speaker 1: start there. What about Joe Biden's pardon on Anthony Fauci.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Does that touch Florida state law or not?
- 1:36Speaker 3: It does not.
- 1:37Speaker 4: I don't know why you need a pardon if you
- 1:39Speaker 4: didn't do anything wrong. Doctor Fauci clearly doesn't want to
- 1:43Speaker 4: answer questions, but the American people still have a lot
- 1:46Speaker 4: of questions, especially Floridians. So I think Senator Ran Paul
- 1:50Speaker 4: for continuing the search for truth and revelations over the
- 1:54Speaker 4: last couple of weeks have revealed a lot.
- 1:56Speaker 3: He did not believe a lot of the.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Mandates and protocols that he was pushing. He doubted safety
- 2:02Speaker 4: and efficacy of the so called medical treatments, yet nevertheless
- 2:06Speaker 4: forced them on the American people.
- 2:07Speaker 3: They've been injured, there's deception.
- 2:10Speaker 4: We're going to search for accountability and do everything we
- 2:12Speaker 4: can in Florida under our state laws.
- 2:15Speaker 1: So you now have subpoenaed fauci as part of this investigation,
- 2:19Speaker 1: and you're looking into potential self dealing or profiting from
- 2:23Speaker 1: COVID era policies. Are you saying he took money or
- 2:27Speaker 1: new jobs and that's why he was not saying what
- 2:30Speaker 1: he truly believed.
- 2:33Speaker 4: We are most certainly looking using every tool under Florida
- 2:36Speaker 4: law to figure out what kind of self dealing was
- 2:39Speaker 4: going on.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Government officials. They have a lot of immunities under the law.
- 2:43Speaker 3: We've got an uphill battle.
- 2:45Speaker 4: But where there's monetary value increases and somebody's going aside
- 2:51Speaker 4: from their state job or their government job, to do
- 2:53Speaker 4: book deals, to seek awards to the tune of millions
- 2:57Speaker 4: of dollars, that's a problem. Where you have deception and
- 3:01Speaker 4: injury and somebody is making a lot of money on
- 3:03Speaker 4: the side, there needs to be accountability. So yeah, we're
- 3:07Speaker 4: going to clearly look into this a lot further, and
- 3:10Speaker 4: if indeed he's making a lot of money off of
- 3:12Speaker 4: this big COVID lie, he should pay for it.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Bottom line, do you believe Fauci committed a crime.
- 3:20Speaker 4: I can't say that right now. We follow rules of
- 3:22Speaker 4: procedure and evidence. I mean I could say generally, I
- 3:25Speaker 4: think what he did to the American people was horrific.
- 3:27Speaker 4: People died because of him, People got hurt because of him.
- 3:31Speaker 4: People couldn't be there for the birth of their first
- 3:33Speaker 4: child or the loss of a loved one because of him.
- 3:35Speaker 3: And if he is making money on the.
- 3:37Speaker 4: Side while perpetrating this fraud, there could very well be
- 3:42Speaker 4: criminal liability.
- 3:43Speaker 3: But we're going to start with civil.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Criminal everything from public nuisance to deceptive trade to fraud.
- 3:49Speaker 4: We're going to look at every aspect of Florida law
- 3:51Speaker 4: and do everything in our power to seek truth and accountability.
- 3:55Speaker 1: And I know you said that the pardon that Biden
- 3:58Speaker 1: put in place does not affect Florida state law or
- 4:01Speaker 1: any state law. But what about the DOJ. Do you
- 4:04Speaker 1: think that the DOJ has found any paperwork or is
- 4:07Speaker 1: there any evidence that links Biden to the pardon? Did
- 4:10Speaker 1: he actually sign the pardon or was it an auto
- 4:13Speaker 1: pen and count the part and be challenged.
- 4:16Speaker 4: I certainly think there are legal questions around the use
- 4:20Speaker 4: of the auto pen, whether or not President Biden actually
- 4:23Speaker 4: knew what was happening, if there was agency there to
- 4:26Speaker 4: execute these things. I know the Department of Justice is
- 4:29Speaker 4: looking at this. We're happy to help them however needed,
- 4:32Speaker 4: and there could be liability for various things at the
- 4:35Speaker 4: federal level, but we're going to focus on the state level.
- 4:38Speaker 4: I've been doing meetings with multiple senators and their offices.
- 4:42Speaker 4: They've committed it to gathering evidence and getting everything to
- 4:45Speaker 4: us so that we can do the best job we
- 4:47Speaker 4: can to find transparency and accountability for the people of Florida.
- 4:52Speaker 3: And Americans generally.
- 4:54Speaker 4: I'm grateful to other attorneys general out there that want.
- 4:56Speaker 3: To work with us on this, and I hope more
- 4:58Speaker 3: will come to the table.
- 5:00Speaker 1: I know that other states are also probing Fauci in Louisiana,
- 5:04Speaker 1: West Virginia, Alabama, other attorneys general. Are you coordinating with
- 5:09Speaker 1: them at all? And after he took the fifth so
- 5:13Speaker 1: many times, what was it that you heard that felt
- 5:17Speaker 1: that Florida needed to get involved.
- 5:20Speaker 4: Well, we were certainly shocked by his lack of candor
- 5:23Speaker 4: to Congress.
- 5:24Speaker 3: He says, I'm the.
- 5:25Speaker 4: Science, I'm the guy you know, I'm the most famous
- 5:28Speaker 4: guy in the world. Is what he's writing in his diary,
- 5:30Speaker 4: and yet he won't even answer questions for the people
- 5:33Speaker 4: of this country.
- 5:34Speaker 3: So that opened our eyes.
- 5:36Speaker 4: But more importantly, new evidence came to light about his
- 5:40Speaker 4: doubts about the safety and efficacy.
- 5:42Speaker 3: He's pushing things on New York and Florida.
- 5:44Speaker 4: He's coming down here criticizing what we're doing in the
- 5:47Speaker 4: state of Florida, all the while privately expressing doubts over
- 5:51Speaker 4: the safety. So this shows the most clear and explicit
- 5:54Speaker 4: evidence we've seen that he lied to the American people
- 5:57Speaker 4: and they suffered. And where there's lies in the perception
- 6:00Speaker 4: that leads to injury, there needs to be legal accountability.
