- 0:04Speaker 1: Welcome to Just the Cats with Michael Bennett.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Hello, Big Blue Nation, Welcome to Just the Cats. My
- 0:15Speaker 2: name is Michael Bennett. On this Monday, July thirteenth. As
- 0:20Speaker 2: I hope everybody had a big weekend. I'm sure Justin Kaylin,
- 0:24Speaker 2: who is joining me this morning, had a big weekend
- 0:27Speaker 2: as well, which I'm looking forward to hearing how he played.
- 0:30Speaker 2: Is your foot okay? Did you win any money? Did
- 0:34Speaker 2: you do anything right this weekend?
- 0:36Speaker 1: So we had a blast, first of all, had an
- 0:39Speaker 1: absolute blast. I do have a debate that I kind
- 0:41Speaker 1: of want to ask you about something that happened to
- 0:44Speaker 1: me on Friday, and then I'll tell you all the
- 0:46Speaker 1: details from Saturday.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Okay, all right, I'm ready for the debate. That's a
- 0:51Speaker 2: great way to start the show off. Just anytime I
- 0:54Speaker 2: get to have a question posed to me that's debatable,
- 0:59Speaker 2: I'm I'm very excited about that. So the great way
- 1:02Speaker 2: to start on Monday morning. I appreciate that. Justin no problem.
- 1:05Speaker 1: So basically I went up to Dayton and then we
- 1:09Speaker 1: played in the scramble on Saturday in Cincinnati. Well, I
- 1:12Speaker 1: was saving myself for the scram I've been dealing with
- 1:15Speaker 1: this foot issue. So decided I'm not gonna play on Friday.
- 1:18Speaker 1: I'll ride along with the guys, I'll keep their golf stats,
- 1:21Speaker 1: I'll do all the things. But on Friday, occasionally, I
- 1:27Speaker 1: probably four or five different times throughout the round, I
- 1:31Speaker 1: got out of the cart just to test it out.
- 1:34Speaker 1: See how the foot was, Let me swing a club,
- 1:37Speaker 1: see how it feels. First three or four shots I
- 1:39Speaker 1: hit awful, and I'm thinking, well, this is not This
- 1:43Speaker 1: doesn't bode well for the scramble tomorrow. Well, my last
- 1:47Speaker 1: shot I took on Friday, I step up to this
- 1:51Speaker 1: par three, grab a seven iron out of my dad's
- 1:54Speaker 1: bag because I didn't have my clubs with me since
- 1:56Speaker 1: I wasn't playing. Hit a beautiful ball. Michael. I am
- 2:02Speaker 1: scared to death as this ball is in the air
- 2:05Speaker 1: because it looks I mean it's tracking, it is, it
- 2:08Speaker 1: is tracking the hole. So it ends up sitting about
- 2:13Speaker 1: a foot short of the hole. And at that point
- 2:17Speaker 1: I'm like, yes, thank you God, because my whole thing
- 2:22Speaker 1: was is my first ever hole in one gonna come
- 2:26Speaker 1: on a hole that doesn't even count and I can't
- 2:29Speaker 1: write down the one on my scorecard. So my question
- 2:32Speaker 1: to you is if that shot were to go in.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Does that officially count as a hole in one or no?
- 2:39Speaker 1: Because I say no, others in my life have said
- 2:43Speaker 1: I'm counting that.
- 2:46Speaker 2: Uh man, that's that's a great question, by the way,
- 2:50Speaker 2: and I all right, it doesn't matter. You hit the ball,
- 2:56Speaker 2: you used a club, and just because you didn't play
- 2:59Speaker 2: the round of eighteen, it counts as a hole in one.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Just because you didn't I am counting it. It's just
- 3:07Speaker 2: because you didn't play it. You still hit it, and
- 3:10Speaker 2: you didn't play seventeen other holes.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I don't care. It's still a hole in one, all right.
- 3:15Speaker 2: I'll give you an example for instance, out at the
- 3:18Speaker 2: club I belong to here in Louisville. They always it's
- 3:23Speaker 2: the club where Justin Thomas grew up playing golf, and
- 3:29Speaker 2: he always has his golf tournament out there for junior golfers,
- 3:34Speaker 2: called the Justin Thomas Invitational.
- 3:36Speaker 3: I think it's what it's called. They have it every summer.
- 3:38Speaker 2: It should be coming up pretty soon, and I'll never
- 3:43Speaker 2: forget about. I guess five or six years ago he
- 3:48Speaker 2: is hitting as he would hit with every group that
- 3:51Speaker 2: was playing in this tournament and the group before us.
- 3:55Speaker 3: He hits a hole in one.
- 3:56Speaker 2: Now, he wasn't playing all seventeen holes, but I think
- 4:00Speaker 2: he counted that as a hole in one.
- 4:03Speaker 1: JT did.
- 4:04Speaker 2: Yes, exactly, it was a hole in one. I mean everybody,
- 4:08Speaker 2: every normal person would count that as a hole in one.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Just because you're not playing the other seventeen holes.
- 4:14Speaker 3: It doesn't matter. You still had a hole in one.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Okay, Well now I know for next time.
- 4:18Speaker 3: And why would you not think it's a hole in one.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Because mostly because you don't get the satisfaction of writing
- 4:24Speaker 1: down the one on the scorecard.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Okay, I hear you, But that's just the saturnth I mean,
- 4:30Speaker 2: I'm guessing, but you still got the satisfaction having a
- 4:33Speaker 2: hole in one shot.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Yeah, But I mean I can just go like so,
- 4:37Speaker 1: for instance, my dad has a golf hole in his backyard.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Now it's not like it's not like it used to
- 4:42Speaker 1: be where he would keep the grass mode real short
- 4:44Speaker 1: and put an actual hole. But now he's just got
- 4:47Speaker 1: this flag up on top of the hill. But I
- 4:49Speaker 1: can go up there and hit balls for hours and
- 4:51Speaker 1: hours if I want. If I hit the flag stick
- 4:53Speaker 1: twelve times, I'm not gonna think I got twelve hole
- 4:56Speaker 1: in one's you know, because it's it's just practice. That's
- 4:58Speaker 1: the way I look at what happen. And on Friday
- 5:01Speaker 1: it was just practice. So I don't know that I
- 5:02Speaker 1: could have officially counted it.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Oh I would have counted it, and I would have
- 5:06Speaker 2: kept the golf ball and everything else. No, it should
- 5:08Speaker 2: have been a hole in one. Stop it.
- 5:10Speaker 1: It's a hole in one. Now.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Yeah, if you're at your dad's unofficial golf hole, yeah,
- 5:15Speaker 2: that's not going to count. Sorry, it's not a golf course.
- 5:18Speaker 2: It has to be at a golf course. I mean
- 5:20Speaker 2: there are Yeah, it has to be at a golf
- 5:21Speaker 2: course where you've got eighteen holes or nine holes, one
- 5:24Speaker 2: of the two and that is a hole in one.
- 5:26Speaker 1: But luckily for me, that ball didn't have a lot
- 5:29Speaker 1: of front spin or would have went in and I
- 5:31Speaker 1: would have I would have been on set. Yeah I don't.
- 5:35Speaker 3: Yeah, well, and you should have been. I mean that
- 5:37Speaker 3: would have been awesome.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I my dad has almost gotten a hole in one
- 5:41Speaker 2: at Augusta National, by the way, I have, I've been close,
- 5:47Speaker 2: but no, I've got a buddy that's had three hole
- 5:50Speaker 2: in ones. It seems like some guys just have that
- 5:53Speaker 2: knack of getting hole in ones. I haven't been lucky enough.
- 5:58Speaker 1: I've read it. I read a story not too long
- 6:00Speaker 1: ago about this guy who was well into his eighties
- 6:03Speaker 1: and he had never had a hole in one. He
- 6:06Speaker 1: got two in the same round. Are you in the
- 6:09Speaker 1: same round, the same round in his eighties?
- 6:12Speaker 2: Wow?
- 6:12Speaker 1: Crazy? That's I think that's awesome. I got another golf
- 6:17Speaker 1: debate for you. Okay, I'm ready. I give you one
- 6:20Speaker 1: hundred thousand dollars right now for nothing. You just you
- 6:23Speaker 1: just get the one hundred thousand dollars, or you get
- 6:26Speaker 1: a chance at a random hole on the PGA Tour
- 6:30Speaker 1: and if tournament conditions and everything, and if you par
- 6:34Speaker 1: that hole, you get a million. Which way you're going?
- 6:41Speaker 3: Huh?
- 6:42Speaker 1: Do you take a chance on yourself for the mill
- 6:45Speaker 1: or do you just take one hundred thousand for doing nothing? Ah?
- 6:49Speaker 3: Man, that lee what a question right there?
- 6:53Speaker 1: All right?
- 6:54Speaker 3: So I could pick the hole out or it's.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Just random, you just randomly assigned a hole on the.
- 6:59Speaker 2: P Yeah, I'm taking one hundred thousand. I don't trust
- 7:03Speaker 2: myself that much.
- 7:04Speaker 1: No, that's it is a smart move.
- 7:08Speaker 2: And because I can make that hundred thousand into more
- 7:10Speaker 2: money exact So No, I'm taking I'm taking I'm taking
- 7:13Speaker 2: the money and running.
- 7:14Speaker 3: So is that the way you would be?
- 7:17Speaker 2: Is this a question that y'all were asking over the
- 7:19Speaker 2: weekend while you're playing golf?
- 7:20Speaker 1: So I saw this on Twitter over the weekend, and
- 7:22Speaker 1: so yeah, I was asking all my family members and
- 7:25Speaker 1: they all basically said the same thing. Now give me
- 7:27Speaker 1: the one hundred thousand.
- 7:29Speaker 2: It just if I could pick the hole, I'd still man,
- 7:32Speaker 2: that's still hard.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Even though.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I might be able to pick a hole, I know
- 7:37Speaker 2: I can part nine times out of ten. It's that
- 7:40Speaker 2: one time out of ten that bothers me because it's
- 7:43Speaker 2: gonna be it's gonna be getting in my head as
- 7:46Speaker 2: soon as I get up there to go drive. Even
- 7:48Speaker 2: if I get a nice drive, it's the second ship.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Then the closer you get to the hole, it's like, okay,
- 7:55Speaker 2: oh exactly. Even if I'm probably three or four inches
- 7:59Speaker 2: away from the hole, I miss it. I'm just I
- 8:01Speaker 2: know how my head is going to treat me, and
- 8:03Speaker 2: I would rather take the hundred thousand, be a little
- 8:06Speaker 2: more patient and make that million up without doing too
- 8:10Speaker 2: terribly much.
- 8:11Speaker 1: You can make that up.
- 8:12Speaker 3: I mean you can.
- 8:13Speaker 2: It'll take a little time for sure, but that's why
- 8:15Speaker 2: saving is so important.
- 8:17Speaker 3: That's why.
- 8:17Speaker 2: And I've always concerned about these players that get all
- 8:21Speaker 2: these gigantic in eyel deals. I'm always concerned that they're
- 8:24Speaker 2: just going to spend their money and go right through
- 8:25Speaker 2: it because they've never had the guidance.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Of how to save your money or invest your money.
- 8:31Speaker 2: And I hope so much that all these universities out there,
- 8:35Speaker 2: they're just throwing all this money at kids, put somebody
- 8:40Speaker 2: in front of them that can be a mentor if
- 8:42Speaker 2: they don't have a parent that is a good one,
- 8:44Speaker 2: or or just somebody that'll help them. Because you know,
- 8:48Speaker 2: not to cut on parents of these athletes, but they
- 8:51Speaker 2: might not know how to take care of this money.
- 8:54Speaker 2: So I just that's that's where I'm hoping the athletic department,
- 8:57Speaker 2: the school, somebody puts some in front of them to
- 9:01Speaker 2: help them that is trustworthy, because that's the other part.
- 9:04Speaker 2: You got to make sure you can trust all these people.
- 9:05Speaker 2: But anyway, hey, speaking, I'm taking a hundred thousand.
- 9:08Speaker 1: You asked me if we want any this weekend, so yes,
- 9:12Speaker 1: let me tell you about the Scramble. So this this scramble.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Every year, there's they have a morning flight and an
- 9:17Speaker 1: afternoon flight with basically two teams on every tea box
- 9:21Speaker 1: for both flights. Y'sional is a my goodness is a massive,
- 9:27Speaker 1: massive scramble. But every year our morning flight, the same
- 9:30Speaker 1: group wins. They're eighteen twenty under whatever they end up being.
- 9:34Speaker 1: It's the four old guys to get an advantage off
- 9:36Speaker 1: the tea box. Well, our group started with our hair
- 9:41Speaker 1: on fire, Michael Bennett. I mean, we were cooking with grease,
- 9:46Speaker 1: and it's one of those tournaments where they've got the
- 9:48Speaker 1: GPS screens and they've got the leaderboard on there. Oh
- 9:52Speaker 1: do they really We were at our team. Wow, it
- 9:55Speaker 1: was at the top of the leaderboard for probably six
- 9:59Speaker 1: holes there, which it was really really cool. I think
- 10:01Speaker 1: we ended up finishing like fifth or sixth or maybe
- 10:04Speaker 1: even seventh in that flight. We were ten under played
- 10:07Speaker 1: really well. I was worried. My foot was very, very
- 10:11Speaker 1: sore when I was done, but I woke up on
- 10:14Speaker 1: Sunday yesterday I was at like ninety five percent. Today
- 10:17Speaker 1: I'm probably that's great. Today I'm probably at ninety six percent.
- 10:21Speaker 1: So it turns out all ended up helping my foot.
- 10:24Speaker 1: But we didn't win any money in terms of the scramble.
- 10:28Speaker 1: But for the second time in the last three years,
- 10:31Speaker 1: we did win the fifty to fifty pot. Babe whoo.
- 10:36Speaker 2: And so when you say fifty to fifty pot, how
- 10:38Speaker 2: much does that equate to in your pocket?
- 10:40Speaker 1: Uh? So I got fifty dollars out of it because we.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Good, You're taking me to lunch, so we have perfect
- 10:45Speaker 2: We had nothing money to take me to lunch because
- 10:47Speaker 2: you owe me that.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Well, we have two teams, so there's eight of us total,
- 10:50Speaker 1: and whatever we win that we always split it even. So, Yeah,
- 10:55Speaker 1: my dad was actually the winner of the fifty to
- 10:57Speaker 1: fifty and we each got fifty bucks. Wow.
- 11:00Speaker 2: See I would have said, nah, dude, I'm keeping how
- 11:03Speaker 2: much was the entire part for the fifty to fifty
- 11:05Speaker 2: That was.
- 11:05Speaker 1: The disappointing part because I actually wanted three or two
- 11:09Speaker 1: years ago and it was like eight hundred and sixty
- 11:12Speaker 1: was our share. Oh yeah, this year it was only
- 11:15Speaker 1: five hundred and thirty seven. So I don't know if
- 11:17Speaker 1: maybe it was raining a little bit during the scramble.
- 11:20Speaker 1: I don't know if maybe that had something to do
- 11:21Speaker 1: with it. But yeah, it was a nice little, nice
- 11:24Speaker 1: little good from you.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Well, as you know, I was in Denver, Colorado. Last
- 11:28Speaker 2: week I got to do one of my major bucket
- 11:32Speaker 2: list things. I have always wanted to do this since
- 11:35Speaker 2: I was a little kid. I got to go to
- 11:38Speaker 2: Red Rocks and see a concert.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Are you Oh it was at Red Rocks. Oh it
- 11:43Speaker 1: was at Red Rocks.
- 11:44Speaker 2: Okay, yes you should have so yeah, yeah, thanks for
- 11:48Speaker 2: looking at my post this weekend.
- 11:49Speaker 3: So yeah, I uh it's okay.
- 11:52Speaker 2: I I got to So you know, last Thursday, I
- 11:56Speaker 2: went by myself to Red Rocks the park just to
- 12:00Speaker 2: see what it's like to experience it. And I parked
- 12:03Speaker 2: at the bottom and I walked all the way to
- 12:05Speaker 2: the top and that's you know, that's not an easy
- 12:08Speaker 2: feat by the way, and there's this girl right next
- 12:10Speaker 2: to me could not have been in it any more
- 12:12Speaker 2: than twenty six, twenty seven. And I mean she's panting
- 12:15Speaker 2: at the very top. And I looked at I says,
- 12:18Speaker 2: I am probably three times older than you, and you
- 12:21Speaker 2: were I'm fine, come on, you gotta be better, because
- 12:24Speaker 2: that's what she wanted to hear. Well exactly, But anyway,
- 12:28Speaker 2: I like I'm in shape either. But I mean, it was,
- 12:32Speaker 2: it was. It was unbelievably cool. So I got to
- 12:36Speaker 2: go see the Avett Brothers. We were even planning on it,
- 12:40Speaker 2: and then I saw the Avitt Brothers were in concert.
- 12:42Speaker 2: We got to go Friday night to go see them play.
- 12:45Speaker 2: The warm up band was fantastic. Uh it was the
- 12:49Speaker 2: Mountain Goats.
- 12:51Speaker 1: I like it. You like that.
- 12:53Speaker 2: They were a bizarre band, but I liked them. So
- 12:57Speaker 2: we got to see the Mountain Goats and the Avutt
- 12:59Speaker 2: Brothers concert on Friday night. The Abatt Brothers were there Friday,
- 13:03Speaker 2: Saturday and Sunday, so and they had this is the
- 13:08Speaker 2: crazy part. Every night they had a completely different warm
- 13:11Speaker 2: up band. So Friday night, Davett Brothers had the Mountain Goats,
- 13:15Speaker 2: like I just said, Uh, Saturday night they had a
- 13:18Speaker 2: Sleep at the Wheel. Do you remember that band at all?
- 13:21Speaker 2: They were country music?
- 13:24Speaker 1: Yeah? Yeah.
- 13:25Speaker 2: And then last night, their last night at Red Rocks,
- 13:28Speaker 2: they had Graham Nash. If you know who Graham Nash is,
- 13:33Speaker 2: he's uh Crosby Stills in Nash. You probably remember that band,
- 13:36Speaker 2: don't you. Okay, So Graham Nash was by himself. But uh,
- 13:40Speaker 2: and here's the weird part. So I posted it that
- 13:44Speaker 2: we were at the concert Friday night. My sister said,
- 13:46Speaker 2: we're going Sunday night, and I didn't know. My brother
- 13:49Speaker 2: in law and sister were in town, so they went
- 13:52Speaker 2: to see him play last night, which was bizarre.
- 13:55Speaker 3: But yeah, that was.
- 13:56Speaker 2: A because the big concert back in the day that
- 14:00Speaker 2: was on MTV was watching you two at Red Rocks,
- 14:04Speaker 2: and I'm like, this is the coolest venue I've ever
- 14:07Speaker 2: seen in my life. And I've always wanted to go
- 14:09Speaker 2: and never done, never had the opportunity to go until
- 14:12Speaker 2: this weekend, and I just it.
- 14:14Speaker 3: It took me a while.
- 14:15Speaker 2: I had to take it in. Oh, in a gigantic way.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, And I have to say I would probably
- 14:23Speaker 2: go back there, no probable about it. I would go
- 14:26Speaker 2: back there for a concert again in a New York second.
- 14:29Speaker 2: It was just amazing and people.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Because has been like a thousand times.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Oh has he really to Red Rocks? Isn't that wild?
- 14:40Speaker 3: It did.
- 14:41Speaker 2: I just had to take it in off in the
- 14:42Speaker 2: distance you could see, uh, downtown Denver, And I mean,
- 14:46Speaker 2: I just took picture at your picture, at the picture.
- 14:48Speaker 2: It's just I wanted to make sure I remember. And
- 14:51Speaker 2: it made me think, Okay, is there a better venue
- 14:54Speaker 2: for a concert in the United States?
- 14:58Speaker 1: Probably not, right, I.
- 15:00Speaker 2: I had a hard time thinking of anywhere else. Is
- 15:03Speaker 2: there ay better venue in the entire world than Red Rocks.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I had a.
- 15:08Speaker 3: Difficult I don't know.
- 15:11Speaker 1: I don't know either. There's probably one somewhere overseas that
- 15:15Speaker 1: we just don't know.
- 15:16Speaker 2: I would like to know what it is, then, because
- 15:18Speaker 2: I could not think of anything better than Red Rocks. Now,
- 15:21Speaker 2: I know I'm a little biased about that, but I'm
- 15:23Speaker 2: just trying to figure. I could not think of anything
- 15:26Speaker 2: better than Red Rocks. And the sound was unbelievable. I mean,
- 15:34Speaker 2: but yeah, we had a ball. So it was myself,
- 15:37Speaker 2: my son Max, and my wife Patricia, So the three
- 15:40Speaker 2: of us got to go. But yeah, and thank goodness
- 15:43Speaker 2: we didn't because some people had to walk up like
- 15:46Speaker 2: half a mountain to get up to the venue itself.
- 15:50Speaker 2: You think I'm kidding, but I'm not kidding. The parking
- 15:52Speaker 2: lot was everywhere. I mean, some people were parking I
- 15:55Speaker 2: think about a mile now. They did have shuttles taking
- 15:58Speaker 2: up there, but you had to park a mile away,
- 16:00Speaker 2: walk all the way up this thing.
- 16:01Speaker 1: It's on top of a hill.
- 16:02Speaker 2: It's on yeah, it's on top of a rock. So,
- 16:06Speaker 2: I mean the crazy part is where everybody was parking.
- 16:10Speaker 2: It was just all over the place. So but I
- 16:13Speaker 2: I would do it again in a second. I don't
- 16:16Speaker 2: know who I welse i'd want to see other than
- 16:19Speaker 2: maybe I'm because Abed Brothers was a good choice. Probably
- 16:25Speaker 2: Foo Fighters would be a good one. I'd want to
- 16:27Speaker 2: go back and see if they went there and played.
- 16:30Speaker 2: But it's it's a pretty big spot, you know.
- 16:32Speaker 1: After looking at these pictures, I don't even need to
- 16:35Speaker 1: see any others. This has definitively got to be the
- 16:38Speaker 1: coolest music.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Oh absolutely. I mean, go look at one of the
- 16:43Speaker 2: pictures I took of just the rock. They light them
- 16:45Speaker 2: up different colors during the entire concert. It's just this one.
- 16:48Speaker 2: They had one at a time. It was red, one
- 16:50Speaker 2: time it was blue, and it's like, oh my gosh,
- 16:52Speaker 2: this is just amazingly beautiful. The stars were out, it
- 16:55Speaker 2: got a little chilly. Oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 17:03Speaker 2: well this is look at this this big guy. On Saturday,
- 17:06Speaker 2: we went to Golden Colorado and they have a a
- 17:10Speaker 2: I guess it's a creek or something that you can
- 17:13Speaker 2: float and float on floats. So we got inner tubes
- 17:19Speaker 2: and floated down the stinking river or creek or whatever
- 17:22Speaker 2: it was. It was sixty five degrees. Not a bad
- 17:26Speaker 2: vacation for just no exactly, it was a lot. It
- 17:30Speaker 2: was a lot of fun. So yeah, the Red Rock
- 17:32Speaker 2: sing was a dream come true. But all right, I
- 17:35Speaker 2: think the big story, there's a couple of big things
- 17:37Speaker 2: that happened over the weekend, and I want to talk
- 17:40Speaker 2: about this one first before we get to the fun one.
- 17:43Speaker 3: But I don't know if you saw it or not.
- 17:46Speaker 2: The you know, the quarterback that has committed to Universe
- 17:48Speaker 2: of Kentucky, the four star out of Cincinnati, Matt Ponatowski
- 17:53Speaker 2: has been drafted by the Cincinnati Reds. Yeah, so eighteenth
- 18:02Speaker 2: round now, and of course that's his home team. And
- 18:07Speaker 2: this makes you wonder at this point, and he's got
- 18:11Speaker 2: to make a decision before July twenty seventh at five pm.
- 18:16Speaker 2: And you gotta believe with the Reds, they're going to
- 18:18Speaker 2: try all kinds of stuff because they want one of
- 18:21Speaker 2: their hometown kids to come and play for the team. Now,
- 18:26Speaker 2: a lot of people say, well, it's not going to
- 18:28Speaker 2: be much money, Well, yeah, it's around, they say, you
- 18:31Speaker 2: anywhere from one hundred and hundred and fifty thousand is
- 18:33Speaker 2: what they usually get for an eighteenth rounder, but some
- 18:39Speaker 2: believe that the Reds might try to pull something to
- 18:42Speaker 2: make it even more than that, to make it more
- 18:44Speaker 2: enticeable for him to possibly stay within the MLB instead
- 18:51Speaker 2: of going to college.
- 18:52Speaker 1: Now, my question to you justin if what would it take.
- 19:02Speaker 2: For you to stay with the Reds or go to
- 19:05Speaker 2: Kentucky where you're clearly going to make more money than
- 19:10Speaker 2: you would with the Reds. So, because my thought process is,
- 19:16Speaker 2: I always go back to the Billy Bean Moneyball movie.
- 19:21Speaker 2: And you know, if you remember, Jonah Hill famously said,
- 19:25Speaker 2: because Brad Pitt asked him, would you have drafted me?
- 19:27Speaker 2: And Jonah Hill famously said, oh, yeah, you're a great player.
- 19:30Speaker 3: And in.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Brad Pitt says, come on, man, cut the crap, and
- 19:38Speaker 2: then Jonah Hill says, no, I wouldn't have drafted you.
- 19:42Speaker 3: And so that.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Makes you think, does Matt Ponatowsky stay with the Reds
- 19:47Speaker 2: or does he decide Listen, I'm going to play football
- 19:50Speaker 2: for UK and baseball for UK and make more money
- 19:53Speaker 2: on top of it all, what is it going to
- 19:55Speaker 2: take for you to stay with the Reds.
- 19:57Speaker 1: It's really tricky because everybody's situations different.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Yes, but I'm asking you, not everybody else.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I mean, that's tough. That's that's not an easy question
- 20:09Speaker 1: to answer because you'd obviously.
- 20:11Speaker 2: It's not it's one that's your favorite team, number one,
- 20:13Speaker 2: and you know it's Matt Potmatowski's favorite team, So that
- 20:17Speaker 2: that makes it really difficult.
- 20:19Speaker 1: I mean, you'd have to sit down with your family
- 20:22Speaker 1: and write out the pros and cons for each one,
- 20:24Speaker 1: because there are there are obviously going to be advantages
- 20:27Speaker 1: to either way you go. The advantage if you go
- 20:31Speaker 1: just with the MLB route, you're going to have a
- 20:34Speaker 1: jump start on a ton of your peers. Now, if
- 20:38Speaker 1: you're asking me what it would take if I was
- 20:42Speaker 1: guaranteed to start at double A, I think I would
- 20:48Speaker 1: probably do it. Now, that's not very likely he's gonna
- 20:52Speaker 1: get sent to single A or HIA or whatever. Hya. Yeah,
- 20:56Speaker 1: if I was guaranteed double A, I think I would
- 20:58Speaker 1: stay with the Reds as opposed to going to.
- 21:00Speaker 3: Go But but you know that's not realistic.
- 21:03Speaker 2: That just I just don't think with the high schooler
- 21:06Speaker 2: coming out uh and and getting that kind of a
- 21:10Speaker 2: guarantee plus a guarantee on money, I just don't think
- 21:12Speaker 2: that's gonna happen. Of course he's not going to be
- 21:14Speaker 2: guaranteed to start next year either, because Minshi's going to
- 21:18Speaker 2: be the starting quarterback.
- 21:19Speaker 1: So uh.
- 21:20Speaker 3: But but I just have.
- 21:22Speaker 2: To believe that he's going to make more money at
- 21:24Speaker 2: UK going that route, then he.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Gets NFL from baseball and football than Yeah, I probably
- 21:31Speaker 1: agree with that. But like you said, I mean, he's
- 21:34Speaker 1: not gonna start football is I'm sure he'll be plugged
- 21:37Speaker 1: in baseball somewhere, maybe maybe out of the pen, maybe
- 21:41Speaker 1: as a starter. Who knows, I don't. I don't really
- 21:42Speaker 1: know what they've got. I don't know.
- 21:44Speaker 2: And then you got that kind of travel you got
- 21:47Speaker 2: where you're not You're traveling a bus, not anything like
- 21:51Speaker 2: you'd be traveling at UK.
- 21:52Speaker 1: It seems like everything that I was seeing on Twitter yesterday,
- 21:56Speaker 1: it seems like he's coming to Kentucky event it's just
- 22:00Speaker 1: a matter of win. But heck, we're in the middle
- 22:03Speaker 1: of July. Like, if you're gonna get to Lexington, you
- 22:06Speaker 1: probably need to get your butt there sooner rather than later.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly, Well, he's got to make a decision. Like
- 22:11Speaker 2: I said, you have to let the Reds know whether
- 22:14Speaker 2: or not he's going to stay with him By July
- 22:16Speaker 2: twenty seventh at five pm or not.
- 22:18Speaker 1: What happens to that draft pick?
- 22:21Speaker 3: I don't know what happened.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Bill hold the rights to him for a certain amount
- 22:24Speaker 1: of time.
- 22:25Speaker 3: Or that's a great question. I do not know. We
- 22:28Speaker 3: need to find out while we take a break. So
- 22:31Speaker 3: let's find that out.
- 22:31Speaker 2: But anyway, five O two three four fourteen fifty if
- 22:35Speaker 2: you want to call in five oh two four to
- 22:37Speaker 2: one four fourteen fifty, want to text in on the
- 22:39Speaker 2: Whiskey t text line, or you tweet me at Just
- 22:41Speaker 2: the Cat Radio.
- 22:41Speaker 1: Yeah, we got that.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Uh, we got a several different things to talk about,
- 22:46Speaker 2: and of course when we come back, I want to
- 22:49Speaker 2: talk more about this situation with two former Universe of
- 22:53Speaker 2: Kentucky basketball players. This is uh, this isn't an interesting story,
- 22:57Speaker 2: and I was kind of surprised by But stay right there,
- 23:00Speaker 2: we got a lot more.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Just the Cat's coming.
- 23:02Speaker 4: Right, will my body won't all Minimore? And it finally.
- 23:12Speaker 1: Let's make free?
- 23:16Speaker 4: Where will I go?
- 23:21Speaker 1: Well, the trade Winds technis up. All right, here's a
- 23:49Speaker 1: tidbit on this band. You know.
- 23:51Speaker 3: Her name is Britney something.
- 23:52Speaker 1: I think the lead singer.
- 23:54Speaker 2: She used to be working. She used to work in
- 23:55Speaker 2: the post office here, No Nat and Lila Kataki.
- 24:00Speaker 1: It's just somewhere.
- 24:00Speaker 2: I don't know where, but I just that's that's That's
- 24:04Speaker 2: another weird thing that I know. I have no idea
- 24:06Speaker 2: why I know that, but I just know it. So, yeah,
- 24:09Speaker 2: it's weird.
- 24:10Speaker 3: I listen.
- 24:11Speaker 2: I like the Alabama Shakes. I've always wanted to see them.
- 24:13Speaker 2: That would be a good band at Red Rocks. Yeah,
- 24:18Speaker 2: I listen, And I don't think they've come out with
- 24:20Speaker 2: anything new recently, have they.
- 24:22Speaker 1: I don't think so. Not a huge Alabama Shaks follower,
- 24:26Speaker 1: but yeah, yeah, but I want to answer to our
- 24:29Speaker 1: baseball question.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Oh you do, Okay, I'm ready.
- 24:32Speaker 1: So basically, if Ponatowski decides to go play for Kentucky,
- 24:38Speaker 1: Reds would essentially lose that draft pick, but they get
- 24:41Speaker 1: a compensation pick.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Draft Okay, all right, yeah, because that was why a
- 24:46Speaker 2: lot of people didn't draft him, because they figured he
- 24:49Speaker 2: was going to Kentucky.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Well that's honestly, that's kind of the crappy thing for him,
- 24:54Speaker 1: as if you do go to Kentucky, you can't get
- 24:57Speaker 1: drafted for another three years, or at least until you're
- 24:59Speaker 1: two twenty one years old.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 25:01Speaker 1: So if you really want to want to go the
- 25:04Speaker 1: MLB route and that's been your lifelong dream, I don't know.
- 25:08Speaker 1: I mean, you take a chance on yourself by going
- 25:10Speaker 1: to Kentucky or you can take the sure thing now
- 25:13Speaker 1: and try to work your way up. Either way, you're
- 25:15Speaker 1: gonna have to be in a spot where you've got
- 25:16Speaker 1: to prove yourself.
- 25:17Speaker 2: Well, it depends on what sport you love more. S
- 25:20Speaker 2: I mean, does he love football or does he love
- 25:22Speaker 2: baseball more? And if he loves football more, then I
- 25:25Speaker 2: think the smart decision is for him to go to
- 25:27Speaker 2: Kentucky and play football or whatever school. Forget about that,
- 25:30Speaker 2: it's Kentucky. Just go whatever school you're going to go to.
- 25:32Speaker 2: Wouldn't you think so? I would think so.
- 25:34Speaker 1: Now, just just as a reminder, he did his scholarships
- 25:38Speaker 1: for football, right, not baseball. I think I think he
- 25:45Speaker 1: committed for football.
- 25:47Speaker 2: Not he did commit to football, yes, okay, yeah, yeah,
- 25:50Speaker 2: because that was one of the things that a lot
- 25:52Speaker 2: of the US It's funny how UOL gets.
- 25:54Speaker 3: You know, they had that.
- 25:55Speaker 2: One player that was going to u of L and
- 25:58Speaker 2: then he decomments and comes to Kentucky and well he
- 26:01Speaker 2: was playing baseball you're talking about the baseball player, right,
- 26:03Speaker 2: It's like, no, he was going there to play football too.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Don't give me this crap that well he was playing baseball.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I mean, UL lost a recruit and then he flipped
- 26:13Speaker 2: a Kentucky. There's nothing wrong with that. You've been bragging
- 26:16Speaker 2: about the players that have gone to a u of
- 26:19Speaker 2: L fround that were committed originally the UK.
- 26:21Speaker 3: I mean, what's the big deal so we got some
- 26:23Speaker 3: of your players too.
- 26:24Speaker 2: It's called Listen, this recruiting between Kentucky and u of
- 26:29Speaker 2: L is really coming down hard, and it's it's one
- 26:34Speaker 2: of those things. I wish the head recruiter over at
- 26:38Speaker 2: that school just a few minutes away from our studio.
- 26:42Speaker 2: He's got to get off Twitter. I mean he just listen.
- 26:45Speaker 2: I love the guy. He's like a brother to me.
- 26:48Speaker 2: I wish he would get off Twitter. I just do.
- 26:52Speaker 1: No, it's not it's not gonna happen. It's like telling
- 26:54Speaker 1: Kevin Durant to get off Twitter. It's not happening. He
- 26:56Speaker 1: loves it, same way, with.
- 26:58Speaker 2: The same way the president that we have here too,
- 27:01Speaker 2: that just needs to get off toy it or two.
- 27:02Speaker 2: But uh, we're not going to talk about that one.
- 27:05Speaker 1: Uh, but yeah, over the weekend in Louisville. Yeah, for
- 27:10Speaker 1: what reason? Nobody knew. But then they finally figured it out.
- 27:14Speaker 1: He was here.
- 27:14Speaker 3: We you knew, I mean nobody knew, but you knew.
- 27:16Speaker 1: They knew he was here, but nobody knew why. Apparently
- 27:19Speaker 1: he was here to visit quotes visit Valhalla. Oh, he
- 27:27Speaker 1: was playing golf.
- 27:28Speaker 2: In other words, can you imagine playing out at Valhalla
- 27:31Speaker 2: and then all of a sudden you can't go play
- 27:33Speaker 2: because the Vice President of the United States is they're playing.
- 27:37Speaker 2: What do you do? Logistically? What do you have to do?
- 27:40Speaker 2: Do you have to just know who's playing on the
- 27:42Speaker 2: golf course or now at this point you are not
- 27:45Speaker 2: allowed to play on the golf course that you are
- 27:47Speaker 2: paying really good money to belong to.
- 27:49Speaker 1: It's a great question. I don't I don't know how
- 27:51Speaker 1: all that works.
- 27:52Speaker 2: I don't need I don't either, But man, nothing would
- 27:55Speaker 2: tick me off more. I if some stinking politician came
- 27:59Speaker 2: to town and now I can't even go out there
- 28:01Speaker 2: and play golf on a Saturday because the politicians in
- 28:04Speaker 2: town and he takes presidents even though I'm paying all
- 28:06Speaker 2: the money to play at this golf court.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Surely you could have other people on the course at
- 28:10Speaker 1: the same time.
- 28:12Speaker 2: I would have to believe they have to go through
- 28:15Speaker 2: all kinds of security checks, don't you think probably?
- 28:18Speaker 1: So yeah, I mean, but I mean, you know, he's
- 28:20Speaker 1: got an entourage around.
- 28:21Speaker 2: And if if that's the case, then I'm not going
- 28:24Speaker 2: through all the crappy security checks. I'm not going to
- 28:27Speaker 2: do anything to the guy. But I'm just not interested
- 28:29Speaker 2: in playing golf that day. I'm just gonna go play
- 28:31Speaker 2: another day. Thanks for screwing up my day of golf
- 28:36Speaker 2: for a stinking politician, anyway, visit Vahla. Just admit what
- 28:41Speaker 2: you're doing, okay, and no, just go say you're going
- 28:47Speaker 2: to go play golf at Vahall and let a lot
- 28:49Speaker 2: of people be envious of it.
- 28:50Speaker 1: It's no big deal.
- 28:51Speaker 2: We listen, he's allowed to go play golf on the
- 28:54Speaker 2: weekends now during the week days he should be working
- 28:59Speaker 2: for this country. But no, just just admit that you're
- 29:01Speaker 2: going to go play golf, not visit. That's one of
- 29:04Speaker 2: those things that drives me nuts.
- 29:06Speaker 1: He also played a course in Lexington. I don't know
- 29:08Speaker 1: which one it was, but.
- 29:09Speaker 2: Oh really, he came to Kentucky to go play a
- 29:13Speaker 2: weekend of golf.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Basically, yeah, did he did he.
- 29:17Speaker 2: Play both courses in one day? Or one one day
- 29:21Speaker 2: and one the next day?
- 29:22Speaker 1: I think the I think he played the one in
- 29:24Speaker 1: Lexington the next it was for him.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Oh idol hour, that's a nice country club. Yeah, uh good,
- 29:32Speaker 2: good for him. Well that's that's an interesting way to
- 29:35Speaker 2: come to Kentucky. So uh one, but listen, this is
- 29:38Speaker 2: I love this uh mister Illinois text because they're entertaining me.
- 29:42Speaker 2: Are you ready for this one? I'm ready when it
- 29:45Speaker 2: comes to fancy boyd chocolate? Who gets your vote? Goodiva Lint,
- 29:50Speaker 2: Gared Delli or other? I'm team Lint personally, shove those
- 29:54Speaker 2: chocolate spheres down my gullet all night long.
- 29:56Speaker 1: PS.
- 29:57Speaker 2: If you like that waxy Sliss Russell Stover chocolate, you're
- 30:02Speaker 2: a trash human with trash taste.
- 30:05Speaker 1: This is a fantastic question. Didn't have chocolate?
- 30:09Speaker 2: I did not either, But I love the question and
- 30:11Speaker 2: we're gonna talk about it. Are you a good Diva,
- 30:14Speaker 2: Gared Delli or other chocolate fan?
- 30:19Speaker 1: Justin Kaylin? So I'm kind of with the textra here.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I like Lynt a whole lot. Maybe I don't know
- 30:25Speaker 1: where they're from. Maybe that's the German that's what I
- 30:27Speaker 1: always grow up.
- 30:27Speaker 3: I think that's the German one, isn't it.
- 30:29Speaker 1: I feel like that's what I always ate as a kid.
- 30:31Speaker 2: Good diva. Isn't that Italian or French? I don't remember
- 30:35Speaker 2: which one that is? And Gared Delli is famously in
- 30:38Speaker 2: San Francisco, California.
- 30:40Speaker 1: I that being said about the whole lint thing and
- 30:42Speaker 1: growing up eating those, I'm a Giridelli guy. You're a
- 30:46Speaker 1: oh okay.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Interesting the problem I have a good diva because sometimes
- 30:51Speaker 2: I won't know what's in the package and I'll get
- 30:53Speaker 2: dark chocolate.
- 30:54Speaker 3: I hate dark chocolates. I'm not a big chocolate guy.
- 30:57Speaker 2: Uh. I'm probably more of the lint or gear Deli guy.
- 31:01Speaker 2: And if I'm choosing between the two, probably going with
- 31:05Speaker 2: the gear Deli. Yeah, yeah, it is the right call.
- 31:10Speaker 2: I agree, It's it's all okay, do you really?
- 31:15Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 31:16Speaker 2: It's it's fine. Uh John here, Michael, you're right justin.
- 31:20Speaker 2: If you get a hole in one then then uh
- 31:24Speaker 2: uh then in counts as long as it is on
- 31:27Speaker 2: an actual golf course. See, I'm right there with him.
- 31:30Speaker 2: I think you have uh more bragging rights if it
- 31:34Speaker 2: is in a tournament. However, no matter what, it would
- 31:37Speaker 2: uh still count. If I ever bowl a three hundred game,
- 31:41Speaker 2: which is a perfect game in bowling, Uh, then you
- 31:45Speaker 2: best believe I have. I will have videos and cheers
- 31:49Speaker 2: about it. Got to go talk to you later.
- 31:51Speaker 1: Yeah. But John, if you're like, let's just say you
- 31:53Speaker 1: make your own bowling set up in your garage and
- 31:57Speaker 1: you keep your own score and all, does that does
- 32:00Speaker 1: that count?
- 32:00Speaker 3: No? No?
- 32:02Speaker 2: No, hespi add an actual regulation bowling alley.
- 32:06Speaker 1: But bowling's different though, because you don't just you're not
- 32:10Speaker 1: just gonna throw one or two balls to see how
- 32:12Speaker 1: your foot feels right. You're you're not giving that luxury.
- 32:15Speaker 1: You're either playing the whole game or you're not.
- 32:18Speaker 2: No, you could go there and just practice, but no,
- 32:20Speaker 2: I think that with bowling, you're gonna have to do
- 32:24Speaker 2: it at a bowling alley and you're not gonna just
- 32:26Speaker 2: sit there and practice. You're gonna yeah, well you are
- 32:28Speaker 2: gonna play a game, so there you go. So yeah,
- 32:31Speaker 2: because in order to get that three hundred, you have
- 32:33Speaker 2: to play the game exactly. You can't just split it
- 32:36Speaker 2: up and say I'm going to play a couple of
- 32:37Speaker 2: frames right now and then come back the next day. No,
- 32:39Speaker 2: you gotta sit there and do it.
- 32:40Speaker 1: That almost made my argument for me that the hole
- 32:43Speaker 1: in one doesn't count because I didn't play the whole round.
- 32:47Speaker 2: It's a hole in one. I don't care what you say.
- 32:49Speaker 2: It's a hole in one. You were still at a
- 32:52Speaker 2: regulation golf course even though you didn't play all seventeen holes.
- 32:56Speaker 3: It's a hole in one.
- 32:57Speaker 1: Okay, Well, I don't have to worry about it.
- 32:59Speaker 2: Okay, good, Yeah, I know exactly. Buzz texted, didn't Coyler
- 33:04Speaker 2: Murray played minor league baseball while he played quarterback at Oklahoma? No,
- 33:08Speaker 2: he did not. He played baseball for Oklahoma and played
- 33:15Speaker 2: football for Oklahoma, So I don't think he. I'm almost
- 33:18Speaker 2: certain he did not play minu You couldn't. You couldn't
- 33:21Speaker 2: at that time played minor league baseball. Well, yeah, you
- 33:24Speaker 2: could and football, But no, he played baseball at Oklahoma.
- 33:29Speaker 2: So one person texted, Ponitowski can make a ton of
- 33:36Speaker 2: money in three years at UK and then can.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Go back to MLB baseball. See I think so too.
- 33:42Speaker 2: I think between playing baseball and it depends how do
- 33:46Speaker 2: they do that? I mean, are they going to make
- 33:48Speaker 2: one deal for baseball and basketball, I mean football, or
- 33:52Speaker 2: is it two separate deals to where the baseball team
- 33:56Speaker 2: nickmn Joni has got to give him some money and
- 33:58Speaker 2: then will Stein got to give him some money.
- 34:01Speaker 3: I would assume. See, uh, that's interesting.
- 34:06Speaker 2: So he's going to make a lot more money kind
- 34:08Speaker 2: to Kentucky than he is going to the Reds. But
- 34:11Speaker 2: I kind of figure that the Reds are gonna kind
- 34:15Speaker 2: of make some kind of deal that might make it
- 34:19Speaker 2: a little more enticing for him to stay with the Reds.
- 34:24Speaker 3: I don't know. I mean, can the Reds not come
- 34:26Speaker 3: back in three years and say, okay, come on no.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Because they forfeit his rights if he goes to go.
- 34:33Speaker 3: Yeah, but they could, they could, They could draft him again.
- 34:38Speaker 1: But I mean, why would you want to do that
- 34:39Speaker 1: to a kid that's already spurned you once? Ah. But
- 34:43Speaker 1: you can't blame him for that, though, can you?
- 34:46Speaker 2: So you think you think that I was gonna say,
- 34:48Speaker 2: my goodness, that that's that's that's a hard thing to say.
- 34:52Speaker 2: What is on your head? Greater systems? That's quite a
- 34:55Speaker 2: hat right now.
- 34:56Speaker 1: I don't know what it says, greater system.
- 34:58Speaker 3: It looks like a brand new head. You don't even
- 35:00Speaker 3: know what you're wearing today.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Kingdom Tech Department. No, I have no idea. I saw
- 35:04Speaker 1: when I got back on Monday, I was gifted. Oh okay,
- 35:09Speaker 1: got somebody you know about gym across the hall. When
- 35:12Speaker 1: I got in on Monday, he gave me two hats.
- 35:14Speaker 1: He said. I was, Yeah, I've been waiting to see you.
- 35:15Speaker 1: I had these hats for you.
- 35:17Speaker 2: Well, yeah, we're not going to give free advertisement people
- 35:19Speaker 2: we don't know.
- 35:20Speaker 3: So no, oh, I do know that.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Guy Jim, Yeah, across the hall from me.
- 35:26Speaker 2: That owns the company. No, the guy that that's what
- 35:29Speaker 2: I'm talking about. I know that that I'm talking about
- 35:32Speaker 2: the company. Yeah, we're not going to give them free advertising.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Come on, we don't know who they are.
- 35:36Speaker 1: It's a Jesus thing. I think this is like a
- 35:38Speaker 1: Jesus song. Jesus thing.
- 35:40Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, man, Okay, that's the way to just
- 35:44Speaker 2: end that up there, Greater Systems.
- 35:45Speaker 3: There you go. It's a Jesus thing.
- 35:47Speaker 2: That should be their advertising, their motto, Greater Systems. It's
- 35:52Speaker 2: a Jesus thing. So there we go. That's the How
- 35:55Speaker 2: do you get the religion out of Justin Kalen right there,
- 35:57Speaker 2: All right, we got to take another break five with
- 35:59Speaker 2: two three four fourteen fifty five two four one four
- 36:02Speaker 2: fourteen fifty one. Text me on the Whiskey Teach text line,
- 36:04Speaker 2: or you can tweet me at jess a Cat Radio.
- 36:06Speaker 3: Stay right there. We're gonna talk about some beefs.
- 36:09Speaker 2: I got two beefs going on this weekend and I
- 36:12Speaker 2: love every second of it.
- 36:13Speaker 3: We're gonna talk about as soon as we get back.
- 36:15Speaker 1: Stay right there. I'm on someone.
- 36:52Speaker 3: Hell, you have never heard this song before.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Freaking this is an awful This band is from New Orleans.
- 37:03Speaker 3: Oh yes, I saw them.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Last time I saw them was that Bourbonham Beyond a
- 37:10Speaker 2: few years back, and they were fantastic.
- 37:13Speaker 3: I mean they really were.
- 37:14Speaker 2: And you can tell they're from New Orleans because they
- 37:17Speaker 2: had the decide to go in the background. They're all
- 37:19Speaker 2: dancing in the line going off the stage. It was awesome.
- 37:23Speaker 3: Yeah. So I'm a big fan of Nathaniel Rutledge.
- 37:25Speaker 1: What's the name of the band, Nathaniel Rattler and the
- 37:28Speaker 1: Knights and the Night Sweats. Yeah, another great, great, great name.
- 37:33Speaker 1: I know Nick Rous was always a big fan of them,
- 37:35Speaker 1: but yeah, I just haven't haven't heard much of their
- 37:37Speaker 1: really interesting.
- 37:39Speaker 2: Nick Rouse is a fan of them. Okay, I would
- 37:42Speaker 2: have never guessed that one. All right, I do want
- 37:44Speaker 2: to talk about this before I take a break for.
- 37:47Speaker 1: The hour. Two.
- 37:49Speaker 2: Uh, Bam at Baiyo and Tyler Hero had an altercation
- 37:53Speaker 2: on Friday out in Las Vegas, as Kentucky's going. Well,
- 38:00Speaker 2: all right, did you hear why they got into the altercation?
- 38:04Speaker 1: So I don't know all the details, but I do
- 38:07Speaker 1: know they had there was a text group going around.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Tyler was talking to one of BAM's teammates about how
- 38:13Speaker 1: crazy it is that he makes sixty million and how
- 38:16Speaker 1: he's not worth all that and whatnot. But no, I mean,
- 38:19Speaker 1: I don't know what led up to the actual physical.
- 38:22Speaker 2: Well, evidently Tyler Hero posted publicly on Instagram that Bam
- 38:28Speaker 2: is one of the worst mid range shooters in the NBA,
- 38:33Speaker 2: if not the worst, and Bam took offense to that
- 38:39Speaker 2: and actually goes up to him confronts him, and evidently
- 38:43Speaker 2: what they're saying is he hit him.
- 38:45Speaker 3: What do you think of that?
- 38:47Speaker 2: I mean is that I was kind of surprised by
- 38:50Speaker 2: because I Tyler Hero, you know, I got to know
- 38:55Speaker 2: him a little bit when he was at UK, but
- 38:58Speaker 2: to say that, you know, I'm buddies with him.
- 39:00Speaker 1: No, far from that.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Tyler Hero has a little bit of an attitude which
- 39:05Speaker 2: is good or bad. I mean, it can be good,
- 39:07Speaker 2: it can be really bad. Bam ad a Bio to me,
- 39:11Speaker 2: was always one of the nicest guys out there. And
- 39:15Speaker 2: I was really surprised that. I guess it just hit
- 39:20Speaker 2: him so hard that he just figured I got to
- 39:23Speaker 2: get back at Tyler. I was surprised by that, by
- 39:26Speaker 2: his reaction. I'm not surprised by Tyler Hero.
- 39:30Speaker 1: The just the animosity on both sides has been really
- 39:34Speaker 1: surprising to me. I mean I kind of get it
- 39:37Speaker 1: from Tyler's perspective, just because why because he got he's
- 39:41Speaker 1: having to go from Miami to Milwaukee.
- 39:44Speaker 2: But that's where he's from though originally isn't he from
- 39:47Speaker 2: Wisconsin originally?
- 39:48Speaker 1: Yes? Maybe?
- 39:50Speaker 3: Yes, So he's going home.
- 39:51Speaker 1: That's a crappy thing though you're you're part Miami and
- 39:55Speaker 1: you're getting used to that Miami life. I couldn't agree more.
- 39:58Speaker 1: All of a sudden, you've got to go back to
- 39:59Speaker 1: Wiscon Yeah, pretty mad too, if I was toler he wrote.
- 40:04Speaker 2: And you wonder if his wife or girlfriend is upset
- 40:06Speaker 2: about it too, so he's having to hear all that
- 40:08Speaker 2: crap from her because she's she's lived in South Florida
- 40:13Speaker 2: a majority of her life, I believe, even though I
- 40:15Speaker 2: don't think she's from the United States, but I think
- 40:18Speaker 2: now she's got to move up there in the cold.
- 40:20Speaker 2: I mean it must be hard.
- 40:22Speaker 1: I mean, it's just this whole situation has been ridiculous.
- 40:25Speaker 1: Teammates for many, many years. They're both Kentucky guys. The
- 40:29Speaker 1: one thing I've thought about with this whole thing often
- 40:32Speaker 1: is what is John cal Perry thing. Do we think
- 40:35Speaker 1: he's had conversations with both of these guys or reached
- 40:38Speaker 1: out to one or the other, or what is he
- 40:41Speaker 1: just watching from afar, just shaking his head thinking what
- 40:44Speaker 1: are we doing? Guys? Get it together? Yeah? I don't know.
- 40:51Speaker 2: And is he like the upset parent that's got to
- 40:54Speaker 2: pick sides or hear all the crap and try and
- 40:56Speaker 2: figure out a way to get I would have to say, no,
- 41:00Speaker 2: he's not doing anything about this.
- 41:01Speaker 1: You don't think? So I really don't bet, do you really? Okay?
- 41:05Speaker 2: Because because he's the common denominator as far as the
- 41:08Speaker 2: two players, as John cal Perry, and he's got to
- 41:11Speaker 2: be the dad to come there and make certain that, Hey,
- 41:13Speaker 2: the boys got to get along. Now, boys will be boys.
- 41:17Speaker 2: But you know, in the end, we're all a family.
- 41:19Speaker 1: Now, they didn't they weren't on the same Kentucky team, right,
- 41:22Speaker 1: I don't think. No, No, they were not.
- 41:25Speaker 2: But I mean still, what's the saying that's once a cat,
- 41:30Speaker 2: always a cat, which I'm not a true believer of that. No,
- 41:34Speaker 2: I've never been a true believer. Once a cat, always
- 41:38Speaker 2: a cat.
- 41:38Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:39Speaker 2: Like, for instance, I don't know if you saw the
- 41:43Speaker 2: pictures or not, but over the weekend, Will Levis came
- 41:46Speaker 2: back to Lexington for a wedding and it was his
- 41:53Speaker 2: former tight end, Brendan Bates got married over the weekend,
- 41:57Speaker 2: and so Will Levis goes back to Joe Craft Center
- 42:02Speaker 2: and all of a sudden, there's two other players there. Uh,
- 42:06Speaker 2: and it's it's Dane Key and Josh.
- 42:10Speaker 3: Oh what's his name?
- 42:11Speaker 1: Catus?
- 42:12Speaker 3: Where we're there?
- 42:14Speaker 1: Now, this is a tough one. Do you think Dane Key.
- 42:25Speaker 2: Is still a Kentucky player even though he left his
- 42:29Speaker 2: senior season and went to Nebraska. Do you consider him
- 42:35Speaker 2: once a wildcat, always a wildcat?
- 42:37Speaker 1: I would, Yeah, I see.
- 42:40Speaker 3: I kind of feel the same way as well.
- 42:43Speaker 2: I think Dane Key is a different situation because he
- 42:47Speaker 2: played his first three years at Kentucky and then he
- 42:49Speaker 2: left his senior year.
- 42:50Speaker 3: I'm kind of okay with that one.
- 42:52Speaker 1: Yeah. Now, I mean I do think it's harder to
- 42:56Speaker 1: tell now than ever. It's it's gonna get continually more
- 43:00Speaker 1: and more muddy with all these guys transferring to three
- 43:03Speaker 1: four different schools exactly. Yes, I don't know if I
- 43:06Speaker 1: brought it up on this show or what, but I
- 43:08Speaker 1: can't wait until we're watching an NFL game one day
- 43:11Speaker 1: and you know how they do like the player introductions,
- 43:14Speaker 1: and it's like, oh boy, I'm Jill Burrow. Like, imagine
- 43:17Speaker 1: somebody coming on there and being like so and so Chattanooga,
- 43:23Speaker 1: Middle Tennessee, State, California, and Arizona, Like, are we gonna
- 43:27Speaker 1: get to a point where they're just rattling off all
- 43:29Speaker 1: four of their colleges?
- 43:31Speaker 2: Well, you can say that right now. Ray Davis, I think,
- 43:35Speaker 2: is a prime example. He went to Vanderbilt, He went
- 43:38Speaker 2: somewhere else before Vanderbilt. He was somewhere then Vanderbilt. In Kentucky,
- 43:44Speaker 2: I would have to believe that Ray Davis would say
- 43:48Speaker 2: he's a Kentucky player more than he would be a
- 43:51Speaker 2: Vanderbilt or the other place.
- 43:52Speaker 1: He's like, really, I do, because wasn't he in Vanderbilt
- 43:59Speaker 1: for two three years?
- 44:01Speaker 3: He was there for two years.
- 44:03Speaker 2: But I bet you when he does the introduction with
- 44:05Speaker 2: the Buffalo Bills, he says Kentucky.
- 44:07Speaker 1: Probably so because that was the last See that's exactly what.
- 44:10Speaker 1: That's my entire point. So you think even though he
- 44:14Speaker 1: says Kentucky in the introduction, he's more of a Vanderbilt
- 44:16Speaker 1: guy than he is a Kentucky guy. I would guess,
- 44:19Speaker 1: but I have no idea.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Okay, all right, then, whatever you say, I just to me,
- 44:26Speaker 2: he's Kentucky through and through, and that's where he gained
- 44:29Speaker 2: a lot of his popularity. That's where he went from
- 44:32Speaker 2: there to the NFL. I mean, he's beloved at UK.
- 44:37Speaker 2: I bet if you asked him, if you asked him
- 44:40Speaker 2: which school he would like to go back to and
- 44:43Speaker 2: be introduced during halftime or between quarters or something like,
- 44:47Speaker 2: I bet he says Kentucky more than he says Vanderbilt.
- 44:51Speaker 2: Although that might change though since Mark Stoops is not
- 44:53Speaker 2: there the Oh what if it's Vanderbilt.
- 45:00Speaker 1: That would be awesome, right I honestly, that's probably what
- 45:03Speaker 1: he'd be waiting for. So he could just be introduced
- 45:05Speaker 1: about and they would they'd probably give you I know.
- 45:10Speaker 2: I don't think the Vanderbilt fans would give him a
- 45:13Speaker 2: big cheer knowing he's in Lexington being introduced of one
- 45:16Speaker 2: of as one of UK's play former players. No, I
- 45:19Speaker 2: would take that as a knock. If he was at
- 45:22Speaker 2: Vanderbilt the last season and we go down there. All right,
- 45:26Speaker 2: Let's say, let's say, for instance, Dayane Key. If we
- 45:29Speaker 2: go to Nebraska, UK's playing there and they introduced Dayne
- 45:32Speaker 2: Key as one of their former football greats. I'm not
- 45:37Speaker 2: clapping for that.
- 45:39Speaker 1: I didn't. It wouldn't matter if you would be or not,
- 45:41Speaker 1: because there's gonna be.
- 45:42Speaker 3: No well, okay, you never know that. That's not necessarily true.
- 45:47Speaker 1: TRAVELBA, you can go. Goodness.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Michelle said, happy anniversary to me and my hobby forty
- 45:54Speaker 2: one years.
- 45:54Speaker 3: Congratulations, Michelle, Wow.
- 45:58Speaker 2: That's amazing right there. Forty one years and we just
- 46:01Speaker 2: got to get Justin married off. Okay between him and Corey.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Where does what's the over under on Justin getting married
- 46:08Speaker 2: first or Corey getting married first, are they really because
- 46:14Speaker 2: he's dating the girl then in Elizabethtown? Yeah, you're probably right.
- 46:18Speaker 2: So anyway, we got to take your break. Our two
- 46:20Speaker 2: coming up. Stay right there more Just the Cats.
- 46:49Speaker 1: Welcome to Just the Cats with Michael Bennett.
- 46:57Speaker 2: FAVELU two three eight four fourteen fifty You want to
- 46:59Speaker 2: call it five fourteen fifty one a text in on
- 47:02Speaker 2: the wissy feed tex line or you can tweet me
- 47:04Speaker 2: at Just the Cat Radio. Okay, justin, I'm gonna fill
- 47:07Speaker 2: you in now I'm getting I'm getting pretty excited about this.
- 47:11Speaker 2: But uh, a website is all fixed with all all
- 47:15Speaker 2: the horses on there. If you want to go check
- 47:17Speaker 2: out sny Killstable dot com. I would appreciate that and
- 47:20Speaker 2: you can see all the horses that my little stable
- 47:25Speaker 2: has purchased and uh, as well as where they're being trained,
- 47:29Speaker 2: where they're going to be located, where they're gonna be racing.
- 47:31Speaker 2: We should have two horses racing fairly soon, so probably
- 47:38Speaker 2: I believe it's July twenty six is going to be
- 47:43Speaker 2: one of the first ones. It's a Cairo prince two
- 47:47Speaker 2: year old cult named Sovereign Spirit that trained by Dale Romans,
- 47:53Speaker 2: will be racing at a maiden special weight at Ellis Park.
- 48:00Speaker 2: So that's two weeks from yesterday. And then I have
- 48:04Speaker 2: another one, a Greatest Honor Philly that is up at
- 48:09Speaker 2: Sarah Toga and she should be racing. And her stablemate
- 48:13Speaker 2: ran over the weekend, who is another Greatest Honor and
- 48:18Speaker 2: Harassio Depause trains her. That's if you don't know who
- 48:21Speaker 2: Harassio Depause is, go look him up. He is one
- 48:24Speaker 2: of the you hugely successful up and coming trainers right now.
- 48:29Speaker 2: Used to work for Todd Pletcher as an assistant. But
- 48:32Speaker 2: he liked the horse that we got in the March
- 48:36Speaker 2: Obs sale that he went and bought another Greatest Honor
- 48:40Speaker 2: And she ran yesterday Saturday in a field I think
- 48:44Speaker 2: it was either twelve or fourteen horses. She broke terribly
- 48:49Speaker 2: and was in last place and ended up winning the race.
- 48:53Speaker 2: So she went from last to first and just an
- 48:57Speaker 2: amazing race. So yeah, be beautiful Carly is the name
- 49:01Speaker 2: of that Greatest Honor Philly. Uh that herassio bought at
- 49:06Speaker 2: the April Sail And so I and uh my little Philly,
- 49:10Speaker 2: uh had a good breeze yesterday and uh, so we'll
- 49:14Speaker 2: see if she I won't be surprised if she's entered
- 49:17Speaker 2: in the race the next two or three weeks, which
- 49:20Speaker 2: is another bucket list for me. I've always wanted to
- 49:22Speaker 2: have a horse race at Churchill, Keenland and Saratoga Springs.
- 49:26Speaker 1: How did the charidavothing work out? What do you mean?
- 49:32Speaker 1: I see she's a trainer on care. She is she is?
- 49:36Speaker 3: That's a that's a carried Carrol Philly.
- 49:39Speaker 2: Yes, and so she no, no, no, no, that's she's
- 49:43Speaker 2: by She's by Cara Carrol.
- 49:45Speaker 3: So it doesn't have a name yet.
- 49:47Speaker 2: And uh yeah, her her husband David and Gordo Cheri Devo,
- 49:51Speaker 2: Dovo's husband, David and Gordo picked that horse out. Uh
- 49:54Speaker 2: we ended up being the lucky winners at the Juno
- 49:57Speaker 2: BS sale and so uh uh, she's doing well. But
- 50:04Speaker 2: she had to have a little procedure done over the
- 50:06Speaker 2: week kend. So yeah, she had a little bit of
- 50:09Speaker 2: a colic tripe problem where her intestines kind of twisted
- 50:13Speaker 2: to I had take her to rud and Riddle and have.
- 50:15Speaker 3: Emergency surgery on her. So but she's doing well.
- 50:18Speaker 2: It's just a little procedure and came out of it
- 50:22Speaker 2: really well and and she'll hopefully be back training within
- 50:25Speaker 2: next month or two.
- 50:26Speaker 1: I didn't know if it was one of those things
- 50:27Speaker 1: where you saw Sharie when the Derby and then Bellmont,
- 50:31Speaker 1: or can't remember what it was at this she won
- 50:34Speaker 1: the Belmont. But then you're like, yeah, I gotta have her.
- 50:37Speaker 2: No, uh, that was a situation when David and Gordo
- 50:40Speaker 2: approached me about this Philly and said, would you like
- 50:44Speaker 2: to partner with us? And I'm like, kek, yeah, And
- 50:47Speaker 2: I said who's going to train her? And she goes,
- 50:48Speaker 2: uh duh, my wife. I started to laughing at what
- 50:54Speaker 2: he said because he literally looked at me. He says,
- 50:56Speaker 2: you're joking, right, I'm like, I just making sure And
- 51:01Speaker 2: so I was really excited about that.
- 51:03Speaker 3: So, no, it wasn't.
- 51:04Speaker 2: It wasn't a situation where I had to have Cheri
- 51:06Speaker 2: Devo train a horse for me.
- 51:07Speaker 3: It was just a situation.
- 51:08Speaker 2: It just happenstance, It happened that way, and I'm very
- 51:12Speaker 2: excited about it. And she's a beautiful Philly. But yeah,
- 51:15Speaker 2: we've got we now have six horses in my little stable.
- 51:18Speaker 2: We've got we just bought, uh two weeks ago, a
- 51:22Speaker 2: maximum a Maximus Mischief cult that Horasio depositably training. We
- 51:28Speaker 2: got Jimmy Creed that named Cosmic Creed that Dale Romans
- 51:34Speaker 2: is training. We've got I told you about the uh
- 51:38Speaker 2: Cairo Prince named Sovereign Spirit. That's Dale Romans' training. And
- 51:43Speaker 2: then we've got who am I missing? I got the
- 51:46Speaker 2: kyro Carophilly and then the two Her Honor which is
- 51:50Speaker 2: the greatest honor Philly and that's the one. It'll be
- 51:53Speaker 2: between the Sovereign Spirit or Her Honor. That'll be uh
- 51:58Speaker 2: racing first. So I'm looking forward to it. So, uh
- 52:02Speaker 2: you degone, right, Yeah, I'm waiting for you to ask me,
- 52:04Speaker 2: but jedn't ask yet, are you. Am I going to
- 52:05Speaker 2: go to New York to watch her race? Absolutely, I'm
- 52:08Speaker 2: going to go up there and watch her race. Yeah yeah,
- 52:11Speaker 2: oh yeah, oh yeah. I can't wait. I really can't,
- 52:14Speaker 2: cause that's a special place. If you've no offense to
- 52:17Speaker 2: my friends over in Lexington. Uh, Saratoga is just one
- 52:21Speaker 2: of those places that you walk back in time. I
- 52:25Speaker 2: mean you do you walk back literally back to the
- 52:27Speaker 2: forties or fifties. Uh to go to that racetrack, it's
- 52:30Speaker 2: a It's an amazing place.
- 52:32Speaker 1: It really is.
- 52:32Speaker 2: Between that and del Mar those are my two favorite
- 52:35Speaker 2: race tracks of all time. So anyway, oh, Essential Quality,
- 52:40Speaker 2: I forgot about that one. Uh that's uh, that's a
- 52:43Speaker 2: hunting goodwill. Yeah, that's a big, big, beautiful gray that
- 52:49Speaker 2: I'm hoping that John Sadler out in California will take.
- 52:52Speaker 1: That's what I'm betting on. So hell, he is a big,
- 52:55Speaker 1: big boy. Yeah.
- 52:56Speaker 2: Between that one and the Maximums Mischief, those are two
- 52:59Speaker 2: big horses ready to gambling. I see exactly. That's what
- 53:04Speaker 2: scares me. I don't I man, I'm worried about you
- 53:07Speaker 2: and that I okay, fair enough at six bucks, but
- 53:11Speaker 2: you're gonna hold it against me though I know you
- 53:13Speaker 2: already have, and you're gonna hold it against me again. Okay,
- 53:17Speaker 2: good Uh but but go check the website out Scenic
- 53:19Speaker 2: kill Stable dot com and does it really it's it's
- 53:23Speaker 2: got our silk colors all over it, which I love.
- 53:26Speaker 2: And uh, you can see you our pinhooking success that
- 53:29Speaker 2: we had uh this past May. If you want to
- 53:32Speaker 2: join that you can, you can let me know and
- 53:34Speaker 2: email me. But uh, but yeah, we we had a
- 53:37Speaker 2: good pin hooking situation. So anyway, that's a that's a
- 53:41Speaker 2: fun thing to do as well.
- 53:43Speaker 1: But there anyway, Uh, let's talk about some beef that's in.
- 53:48Speaker 2: There's not only beef going on in the basketball world,
- 53:51Speaker 2: there's beef going on in the music world. Have you seen,
- 53:55Speaker 2: of course, you know, the Rolling Stones or do you
- 53:58Speaker 2: just came out.
- 53:59Speaker 1: With the brand new album? Personally, I don't know that.
- 54:01Speaker 3: No, that's it.
- 54:02Speaker 2: Let me finish the question. You know they just came
- 54:04Speaker 2: out with a brand new album.
- 54:05Speaker 1: Uh what a couple months ago? No? No, no, just
- 54:09Speaker 1: this past week. Who was I thinking? I don't know
- 54:12Speaker 1: who you're thinking of.
- 54:14Speaker 2: But Mick Jagger has been doing all kinds of press
- 54:17Speaker 2: conferences and you know, doing interviews and that kind of stuff,
- 54:20Speaker 2: and he made it so he was asked a question
- 54:23Speaker 2: about this one particular singer and who gets up and
- 54:29Speaker 2: talks about politics, and Mick Jagger was quick to answer
- 54:34Speaker 2: in this interview the statement that fans don't want to
- 54:38Speaker 2: hear political lectures at concerts, and he was talking about
- 54:43Speaker 2: Bruce Springsteen.
- 54:45Speaker 3: And that made me think, it's like, okay.
- 54:47Speaker 2: Because you know what, my biggest rule on this show
- 54:50Speaker 2: we don't talk politics every now and then.
- 54:51Speaker 1: We'll talk for a second, but that's it, and.
- 54:54Speaker 2: You're not going to hear my opinion, and because you
- 54:57Speaker 2: don't want to hear my opinion, and I quite honestly,
- 55:00Speaker 2: I don't want to hear your opinion either. I just
- 55:02Speaker 2: to me, it's a personal situation. I don't care where
- 55:05Speaker 2: you are in life, if you're wildly known or not,
- 55:10Speaker 2: I don't want to hear your opinion.
- 55:11Speaker 1: I don't care.
- 55:12Speaker 2: So I found this very interesting, and I so I
- 55:16Speaker 2: first thing I want to see is how people responded
- 55:18Speaker 2: to this on social media, and more times than not,
- 55:22Speaker 2: most people do not want to hear anybody talk about
- 55:27Speaker 2: politics or be lectured to, you know, just like with
- 55:30Speaker 2: the whole Awards shows that go on today and you
- 55:33Speaker 2: get these people up there that want to talk about
- 55:35Speaker 2: their little special event or something like that. It's like,
- 55:38Speaker 2: I don't want to hear that. Go up there and
- 55:40Speaker 2: say thank you, go sit down. What do you think
- 55:44Speaker 2: you do? You're you're kind of the same way. So
- 55:48Speaker 2: Mick Jagger was talking about Bruce Springsteen and made the
- 55:53Speaker 2: comment that no, I don't want I don't think fans
- 55:57Speaker 2: want to hear singers get up and give a lecture.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Would do you think that was a knock towards Bruce
- 56:03Speaker 2: Springsteen or that's just him, Mick Jagger giving his opinion
- 56:08Speaker 2: on what musicians or people that are celebrities should do.
- 56:14Speaker 1: I don't take that as a knock. I just I
- 56:16Speaker 1: take that more so of this is Mick Jagger's opinion
- 56:20Speaker 1: of how he thinks it should go, and that's that's
- 56:23Speaker 1: what he thinks. I don't I don't think he was
- 56:25Speaker 1: taking a shot there. No, you don't think so. No,
- 56:29Speaker 1: But I mean, why would he He didn't have to
- 56:33Speaker 1: be with him, not that I know of, he doesn't.
- 56:36Speaker 2: But some people think it was a bit of a
- 56:38Speaker 2: beef that he was saying something like that that uh,
- 56:41Speaker 2: the interviewer almost some people are saying the interview was
- 56:44Speaker 2: trying to bait him too and have him create a
- 56:48Speaker 2: beef between the two, which I kind.
- 56:50Speaker 3: Of felt more it was the more of the uh interviewer.
- 56:54Speaker 2: That was saying something that, man, why would you be
- 56:57Speaker 2: because you know, I don't know if you ever saw
- 56:59Speaker 2: the interview of a lot of people brought up Elvis
- 57:03Speaker 2: Presley too, who was famously asked back in the day
- 57:07Speaker 2: when they had the whole non war going on, and
- 57:10Speaker 2: what was his political view of it?
- 57:13Speaker 3: And he says, I don't think people want to know
- 57:14Speaker 3: what my view is. I'm an entertainer and.
- 57:18Speaker 1: I couldn't agree more with that. I couldn't.
- 57:21Speaker 2: I don't want to go to a concert and watch
- 57:23Speaker 2: a guy just sit there and bash any politician or
- 57:28Speaker 2: bash any people's beliefs.
- 57:29Speaker 3: It's just like, why are you doing that now?
- 57:32Speaker 1: I do think there's certain instances where that could be okay, Like,
- 57:38Speaker 1: for instance, my first concert was Toby Keith and Ted Nugent.
- 57:41Speaker 1: If Ted Nugent came out was all about yeah, Republicans
- 57:45Speaker 1: like I feel that.
- 57:46Speaker 3: I don't like that.
- 57:47Speaker 1: I feel like with the audience he had though at
- 57:49Speaker 1: the time, I feel like that would have been okay
- 57:51Speaker 1: because ninety nine percent of the crowd is probably on
- 57:55Speaker 1: the same side.
- 57:56Speaker 2: As it probably so. But I'm not going there for
- 58:00Speaker 2: political rally. I'm going there to hear him sing.
- 58:03Speaker 1: By the way.
- 58:04Speaker 2: But Toby Keith and Ted Nugent, if you will stranglehold Baby, Oh.
- 58:08Speaker 1: It was great. It was so freaking fun. It was awesome.
- 58:11Speaker 2: What is what is Ted Nugent's most famous song? Couldn't
- 58:14Speaker 2: tell you really could not tell you, Okay.
- 58:18Speaker 1: I didn't know anything about Ted Nugent going into that show,
- 58:22Speaker 1: but man, he rocked.
- 58:24Speaker 3: Did he really did he sing?
- 58:26Speaker 1: Yeah? He did?
- 58:27Speaker 2: Okay, because you know, probably his most famous song he
- 58:30Speaker 2: did not sing. And I think Stranglehold is probably his
- 58:35Speaker 2: most famous song, and he did not sing that song.
- 58:38Speaker 3: I think another song was catch Scratch Fever.
- 58:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I said, I don't know why I remember this stuff,
- 58:45Speaker 2: but I just yeah, anyway, there you go. So all right,
- 58:48Speaker 2: you were gonna make a point about uh Ted Nugent,
- 58:52Speaker 2: and I interrupted you.
- 58:53Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I was just gonna say, like I mean,
- 58:55Speaker 1: if if ninety eight, if you know, ninety eight ninety
- 58:57Speaker 1: nine percent of the crowds with you, I don't necessarily
- 59:01Speaker 1: hate it, because yeah, I'm with you. I don't go
- 59:03Speaker 1: there for a political stance either, But if you know
- 59:06Speaker 1: that your audience is on the same side as you,
- 59:09Speaker 1: they're probably gonna get pretty pumped up if you say
- 59:12Speaker 1: something like yeah, GORI or whatever.
- 59:14Speaker 2: So yeah, I don't know. I just I don't want
- 59:17Speaker 2: to again. If you don't even need I neither do.
- 59:20Speaker 2: I don't want it. I don't care if you're talking
- 59:22Speaker 2: about people I love, please stop. I just want to
- 59:25Speaker 2: come hear you sing entertain me. Let's move on. So
- 59:28Speaker 2: that's kind of how I feel I just don't want
- 59:30Speaker 2: to hear that stuff, and it it keeps me from
- 59:33Speaker 2: going seeing certain people anymore because I don't want to
- 59:36Speaker 2: hear that I don't Again, it gets back to the point,
- 59:39Speaker 2: even if they're talking about people I don't like, I
- 59:43Speaker 2: don't want to hear that. I'm going there and paying
- 59:45Speaker 2: you money to hear you sing, not hear you talk
- 59:48Speaker 2: to me.
- 59:49Speaker 1: But at the same time, they see it as they're
- 59:52Speaker 1: there at entertain and then I'm not gonna go see ye,
- 59:55Speaker 1: And there's multiple ways to entertain. That's not entertainment to me.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: I mean, I'm right there with you. I'm exact. I'm
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: in the same boat as you. I'm just you are
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: trying to argue the other side. Yeah, I hear you.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: You're playing Devil's advocate. In other words, ohhile, guy said,
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: have you seen the video of Drake doing a special
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: rap at SGA's birthday party? I did see that. Have
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: you seen that?
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: Yes, it's it's listen. Can you imagine I can't imagine
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: being shake gilgis Alexander right now. And you you know,
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: you're at a point where you can just invite anybody
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: over to your house and more times than not. They're
- 1:00:29Speaker 2: not gonna they're not gonna say no, They're gonna say
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: yes to come over there. And now he has he
- 1:00:34Speaker 2: has Drake coming over and Drake is in It's it's
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: funny to see him. He's in a flannel shirt and
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: has a ponytail or a bun in the battle. I
- 1:00:43Speaker 2: don't know what you call it. It looks like a little
- 1:00:45Speaker 2: tiny poodle ponytail. It doesn't look his style. Just to
- 1:00:50Speaker 2: say it and and to hear him just do a
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: rap out of nowhere? Do you think there's any chance
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: that he had pre planned this and memorize it or
- 1:00:58Speaker 2: do you think it was just he came up with
- 1:01:01Speaker 2: it on the spot and some people have that knack.
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: No, he did not come up with it.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: You don't think so? Oh so you think it was.
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: Pre played other artist? I would say maybe could. I'm
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: not a big Drake fan, not a Drake Drake. I
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: don't think he's that great as everybody puts him up
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: on this big pedestal. I don't think he belongs on,
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: but I don't. I would not imagine that he could
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: make up something on this spot.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Really, Okay, so you go back to the whole eight
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: mile thing. Let's talk about eight mile and uh, so
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: you don't think they were making eminem was making up
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: those raps like they portray portray themselves in the movie
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: in the movie, well they were in real life.
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: No, in real life he was absolutely free ball. But
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: in the movie those were memorized. Yeah, I know the
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: movie they were.
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: But I just okay, So you think some rappers have
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: that gift and it's got Drake, Yeah, I just don't think.
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: I'm a Drake and a future fan. I like it
- 1:02:02Speaker 2: when they're doing stuff together, and.
- 1:02:05Speaker 1: I'm okay with both of those guys. I just I
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: don't know that Drake has the capability of freestyle.
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: Interesting, all right, did you watch any of the Wimbledon
- 1:02:15Speaker 2: tennis tournament.
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: I watched a little bit of the men's and the women's, Yeah,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: but I never I didn't get to see the conclusion
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: of them though. Yeah.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Uh, well you know it happened yesterday between Janek Sinner. Okay,
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: well it's spelled Janic, but I'm gonna say Janek so
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: Yanick Sinner. What a last name, by the way, and
- 1:02:38Speaker 2: uh the no, now, not with a last name that
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: can you imagine? I mean, my goodness, what your name is?
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: What? Janick Sinner? But uh?
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: And then you got the German Alexander how do you
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: say his last name is?
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: Say it again?
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: Zverev?
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Okay, it was a great match at first, you did
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: you realize? Of course it ended in four sets. The
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: first set was over an hour. Whoa, that's exactly what
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: I said.
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: I mean, I guess that makes sense because was it?
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: No Novak Djokovic, he had a game earlier in the
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: tournament that was five hours and fifteen minutes. Are you serious?
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Dude's like thirty nine years old playing five hours and
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: fifteen minutes.
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: Well, this was three hours and forty seven minutes, And
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: I thought that was long. And it's just like, man,
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: that that's longer than a football game, isn't it. It's
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: longer to basketball game. It's about the time of a
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: baseball game, except you know, baseball at least you're standing
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: around for a better part of the game.
- 1:03:44Speaker 3: These guys are moving constantly.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: The only thing that's longer than that is cricket? Is
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: it really? Oh? Cricket? I didn't go on for days.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: I didn't know that.
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: I've watched probably five ten minutes of cricket before I
- 1:03:58Speaker 2: don't understand it. And you know they got a field
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: down here at Cox's Park off River Road. Yes, and
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: there'd be these guys on Sunday afternoon. They'll be you
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: see him on the week nights practicing, and then they
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: come Sunday afternoon. They're all in white. It's the coolest thing.
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: I've always wanted to go by there and just stop
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: and watch.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Cricket's fun to play. I played it a couple of
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: times in college.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: You've played cricket before, and so you know how to play.
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: No, no, just because I did play doesn't mean I
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: understand how. No, I don't really know what I'm doing.
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: And by the way, if you ever get in a
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: spot where you do play cricket, this goes to all
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: the listeners out there as well. When you get up
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: to bat, do not let go of that paddle. After
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: you hit, they will swim at you. Oh really, because
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: you're supposed to you. So you use that to like
- 1:04:48Speaker 1: reach out to the pole, to touch the pole, and
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: that's like, oh, they run just back and forth. But yeah,
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: I launched. I launched my paddle the first time. No, no, no,
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: And I was like, oh sorry, guys, great impersonation. Right there.
- 1:05:02Speaker 2: Oh my god, So only only that.
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: That race plays the cricket? Is that what you're telling me?
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: He only always played with it? Great?
- 1:05:17Speaker 2: I gotta hear more of that just inside of you
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: right there? Oh my gosh. Uh great in persona. No, no,
- 1:05:24Speaker 2: I listen. I can't do any no, I can't do
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: that anyway. Uh, let's go ahead and take another break.
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Five O two three four fourteen fifty five two four
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: one four fourteen fifty one A texting on the Whiskey
- 1:05:37Speaker 2: Thief text line, stay right there more justsicat's.
- 1:05:39Speaker 4: Coming out.
- 1:06:24Speaker 2: Five O two three four fourteen fifty If you want
- 1:06:26Speaker 2: to call five O two four one four fourteen fifty
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: you want to text in on the Whiskey te text
- 1:06:30Speaker 2: on all right now, I have a debatable question I
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: want to ask you right now. I don't I'm not
- 1:06:36Speaker 2: sure you've seen the video, but it's gone everywhere of
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: the gentleman that had his grandson at Yellowstone National Park
- 1:06:45Speaker 2: as they were taking pictures of a wild bison.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: Oh yeah, and.
- 1:06:51Speaker 2: Then the bison does not get happy and comes over
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: and you can see the older gentleman running around. I
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: guess we can kind of laugh about it now. But
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: I really don't think it's funny. But the bison catches
- 1:07:05Speaker 2: up with him and throws him eight feet in the air,
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: flips him over, and luckily he survives, and I think
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: is doing better now with with but has injuries. But
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: and this is the age old question that people are
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: getting really criticized as they get too close to wild animals.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: Do you think that incidence is the fault of the
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: gentleman or the fault of the bison.
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Definitely the gentleman. I will never, ever, ever, in a
- 1:07:37Speaker 1: million years, blame the animal in that spot, because you
- 1:07:41Speaker 1: are in their home. That's that's where they've grown up,
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: that's where they roam, that is their property. So it's
- 1:07:48Speaker 1: always the fault of the humans exactly.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: But but some people are saying, well, he was far
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: enough away, you know, it's it's not his fault.
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: It's closer to picture.
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: That's what I thought. It's like, what do you doing?
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: First of all, don't get out of your car. If
- 1:08:03Speaker 2: you're going to take a picture, take a picture from
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: your car. Just roll your window down. That's all you
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: gotta do. The first thing I'm doing is running to
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: my car. Now, granted, some people don't notice it. There
- 1:08:15Speaker 2: have been people that I'll remember some people that are
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: from another country that had gotten too close and then
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: all of a sudden, the animals chasing them.
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: Well what are you thinking?
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: Of course that animal is gonna chase you.
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: I'm with you.
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: I have never felt bad for people that got injured.
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: I don't want them to die, but I just the
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: fact that you're getting so close to them, trying to
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: get a picture. Some people are even trying to pet them.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: It's like, what do you think? I just yeah, I
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: saw that video, and I'm like, I'm sorry you got injured,
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: but you know, you get yourself injured.
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: Don't blame the bison.
- 1:08:51Speaker 1: I mean, there's a reason they're called wild animals.
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, well my wife says that at night too,
- 1:08:58Speaker 2: so but a stop wing.
- 1:09:03Speaker 1: That is true. I know, Hey, I am lying so.
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: Anyway, but I saw that and I thought, man, what
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: a wild video. I just because if that instance came
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: and happened to you, first of all, well I don't
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: think it had ever happened to me because I'm just
- 1:09:19Speaker 2: not going to get out of my car. I'm not
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: going to get that close to an animal like that.
- 1:09:24Speaker 1: I mean, I'm I'm the same way as you now.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: That being said, I've said for years, and this is
- 1:09:30Speaker 1: kind of a crazy mindset to have, but I've always
- 1:09:34Speaker 1: said for years that when I die, I want to
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: have a story to tell. So a small part of
- 1:09:38Speaker 1: me is kind of hoping that I get ravaged by
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: some sort of wild animal or a shark or something,
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: because I mean, that's more entertaining, more entertaining than saying, oh,
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: he had a terminal a terminal disease that got him.
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: I'd much rather get shredded by a black bear or something.
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: Well that there was another video of a guy that
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: was there was a bear coming towards him and he
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: luckily had some bear spray and it ran off. We
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: have some friends that have a home out in I
- 1:10:09Speaker 2: think it's Wyoming or Idaho, one of the two. I
- 1:10:12Speaker 2: think it's Wyoming, and they on their camera at their
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: house they had a bobcat right there on their driveway.
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: We here, do they really in Kentucky? We have bobcats.
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: Kentucky, Indiana. Yeah, they're all over really, I know. We
- 1:10:33Speaker 1: had my dad sees him on his trail cam all
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: the time. Bobcats. Yeah.
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: Wow, I had no idea we had, you know, what else.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: Has made its way up here that nobody realizes. I
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: have no idea. Armadillo's are also in northern Kentucky and
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: southern We talk about that, didn't We talk about that
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: not too long ago?
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's like, how did they get across the
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: Mississippi River?
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: They went over the bridge.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: I mean, it sounds like I'm joking, but that's what
- 1:11:03Speaker 2: they said. They traveled over the bridge anyway. Yeah, we
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: talked about that a few months back then. That's crazy.
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: Armadillos are gross to me? What is the grossest wild
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: animal out there? You think more so than skunk's.
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: Do you know how possums eat? Do I want to know? No,
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: you don't. It's possums, is the answer. No question. How
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: the possums eat? I don't want to tell you, but
- 1:11:29Speaker 1: you've already brought.
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: It up, So now I want to know, and I
- 1:11:32Speaker 3: have to know. You can't do that time.
- 1:11:33Speaker 2: I've always heard like with oh wait, wait, wait wait,
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: now this is what bothers me you heard, or this
- 1:11:40Speaker 2: is factual, somebody said. I've always heard to me there
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: is a little bit of nothing that is confirmed a fact.
- 1:11:49Speaker 1: Well, now I feel like I need to go do
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: some research. But baby, exactly, I've heard that no skip
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: past this, no no, no, no, go on, I'm ready.
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: So you heard they climb up the backside of animals,
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: and that's how they.
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: Okay, thanks, okay, thanks, That's that's why it's possible. Buzz
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: texted out. I was at Yellstone a couple of years ago.
- 1:12:14Speaker 2: From the first second we entered the park, we were
- 1:12:16Speaker 2: instructed to stay away from the animals.
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: Clearly the humans were at fault. Very fortunate.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: Must have been a semi driver because they can't read
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: signs either. Oh my gosh, you were full of it too,
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: like sixty victims. Okay, can we talk about that for
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: a second. Yes, together, guys.
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: It continues to make national news. How many trucks are
- 1:12:43Speaker 2: still going. And I've driven through there. I wanted to
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: drive through there. I left Churchill down so I'm like,
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: you know what, I'm gonna go the long way. I
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: want to see all these signs that are coming out.
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: And when I saw that, it's like, Okay, there's lights,
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: there's big signs, there's everything around, and yet how do
- 1:13:00Speaker 2: they not see all this stuff? Really, I don't understand
- 1:13:05Speaker 2: how they continued to go under that bridge and tear
- 1:13:08Speaker 2: up their trucks.
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: It's been a lot of them.
- 1:13:12Speaker 2: What's the latest update on I sixty five By the way,
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: I haven't seen anything.
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: Either, but they said it was going to be done
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: by the end of July. So we're coming up on
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: that pretty quick, are we really?
- 1:13:22Speaker 2: Well, yeah, the trit we're just hard to believe. Yeah,
- 1:13:25Speaker 2: we're two weeks away from it.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: And they opened that one section early, so if they
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: might might get done early, Yeah, affected me.
- 1:13:35Speaker 2: No, it hadn't affected you at all, And it hadn't
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: really affected me either.
- 1:13:40Speaker 3: So that's been that's been kind of been the nice.
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: Part of it.
- 1:13:43Speaker 2: But uh man, and then they said they wanted to
- 1:13:45Speaker 2: do it two years in a row where they're going
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: to do another section, and a lot of people have
- 1:13:49Speaker 2: really fought back after that.
- 1:13:51Speaker 1: Again it's like, okay, we can't do that. I mean,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: this is the most annoying section. Like if you're shut
- 1:13:57Speaker 1: down there, Like, I don't know how much it affects, well,
- 1:14:00Speaker 1: was a city? If you do more of it, yeah,
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: south of the waters.
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: Well, I don't know. I just hopefully hopefully it doesn't
- 1:14:12Speaker 2: have to go through that again. So I don't know
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: what happened to the UFC fight this weekend between Connor
- 1:14:19Speaker 2: McGregor and Max Holloway.
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: We all got duped, is what happened.
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: It seems like this is happening more times than not
- 1:14:28Speaker 2: for all the people that paid, because this was another
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: situation where it was pay per view.
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: Right, No, so they got rid of the whole pay
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: per view model. All their fights are now on paramount,
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: so you do have to buy a paramount subscription. You
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: still got to pay that. Yeah, it's relatively cost effective.
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: It's it's not one of those that digs deep in
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: your pockets. So very manageable to have paramount and then
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: the fights after that are free. But yeah, I was
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: huge letdown.
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: One round sixty seven seconds. I mean, oh okay, thanks
- 1:14:57Speaker 2: Bill Clinton. But oh oh that too okay, Yeah, well
- 1:15:02Speaker 2: you're right about that. Lots of people were saying he
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: was already injured before he walked into the ring. What
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: do you think I did, Bona McGregor, That is yeah,
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 1:15:11Speaker 1: Get that sense. But then after the fight was over,
- 1:15:14Speaker 1: they went a lot of people put those videos up,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: they went videos. Yeah, that kind of had me second guess.
- 1:15:20Speaker 1: But if you if you did that in the pre fight.
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: Why are you coming out in your first move as
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: a flying kick?
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: Is that one right there? Exactly?
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: Like, what are we doing? And let's it's just habit
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: and that's his dominating kick.
- 1:15:37Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: I mean, he's done for we'll never see him again.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: You think, so, you think he's done. Why is he
- 1:15:43Speaker 2: fighting in the first place? He does any kind of money,
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: He's got all kinds of money.
- 1:15:47Speaker 1: Doesn't need me. You can get more and more of it.
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: And he's still true. He's still one of the faces
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: of of UFC regardless. I mean, I know he hadn't
- 1:15:57Speaker 1: fought in four years, but he still makes them a
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: ton of money. So there's that.
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: Well, just but does he need that kind of money?
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: It's the only thing I think of.
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: So anybody need that kind of money. It's like Donovan
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: Mitchell last week signed a four year, two hundred and
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: seventy three million dollar deal because Donovan Mitchell need that
- 1:16:16Speaker 1: kind of money.
- 1:16:17Speaker 2: No, no, rich rich is what they say, though, Richie rich,
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: You're exactly right. So h but uh man, and you
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: know you got that one guy that uh the Tesla
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: guy that has a trillionaire So I mean, what kind
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: of what kind of what do you do with all that?
- 1:16:34Speaker 2: But anyway, Uh, we gotta go ahead, and uh no,
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: we're not ready yet, are we? We're good to go.
- 1:16:40Speaker 1: You can take you always take him late, but you
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: can tell.
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: I know I always take him. No, no, no, no,
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: that's I do. Want to talk about this for a second.
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: I don't know if you saw where the Seahawks sold
- 1:16:51Speaker 2: over the weekend. Now it's got to go through approval,
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: but did you see how much they sold for nine
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: pill nine point six billion dollars to the Allen family
- 1:17:01Speaker 2: who owned majority of that team, And course evidently the
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: father passed away, so it's just going to their estate.
- 1:17:09Speaker 2: I don't And the crazy part is in uh nineteen
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: ninety seven, they bought the team for one hundred and
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: ninety four million.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Dollars and they sold it from nine point six billion.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: That's a cop Not only that, did you see where
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: they used to own the Trailblazers as well?
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: What happened with that?
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: They sold the trail Blazers back in March for four
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: point two five million.
- 1:17:38Speaker 1: And they only paid seventy million in nineteen eighty eight,
- 1:17:42Speaker 1: I mean four point two five billion.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: That's is that? Not what I said, okay, I'm sorry. Billion, Yeah,
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: four point twenty five billion. They paid seventy million for it.
- 1:17:52Speaker 1: Stupid.
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: That's just crazy that that because you know, back in
- 1:17:58Speaker 2: the day, we would have thought all one hundred I
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: still think one hundred ninety four millions a lot of money, yeah,
- 1:18:02Speaker 2: or seventy million, because it is well exactly and here
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: they are selling it for combined.
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: What is that?
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: No, No, thirteen almost fourteen billion dollars. So much money
- 1:18:18Speaker 2: and Elon Musk is a trillionaire. I mean, it's just
- 1:18:22Speaker 2: amazing to me. When I was a kid, you used
- 1:18:26Speaker 2: to think a million dollars was a lot of money,
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: and now toru of the matter is that's not much
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: money anymore in consideration.
- 1:18:34Speaker 3: Just one hundred million is not much.
- 1:18:37Speaker 2: You get to a point where billionaires, I bet you
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: in the next forty years, we'll see thirty forty years
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: it'll be more billionaires than millionaires. And getting to the
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: point where we're gonna have a lot more trillionaires. God,
- 1:18:53Speaker 2: I just that is just maybe. I don't think any
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: maybe about it. I think it will happen a lot more.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: But anyways, just it's just crazy how much money is
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: just being made in the world today, not by this guy.
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: I just want a little piece exactly, you and me both.
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: I just want a little piece of it. What do
- 1:19:12Speaker 2: we have to do justin I'm not gonna sell them.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: I'm not going to become a tennis player with the
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: last name Center.
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: But you got a chance with some racehorses.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: Oh I do you think I got a chance with racehorses?
- 1:19:24Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, Okay, if you say so, I wish
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: that was the case. But uh, now with a little
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: other I'm having fun. That's that's all that matters. I'm
- 1:19:32Speaker 2: having fun. So it's just it's a big dream come
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: true for me. But all right, we gotta go ahead
- 1:19:36Speaker 2: and take our last break. When we come back, I
- 1:19:38Speaker 2: want to talk about some of the players that got
- 1:19:41Speaker 2: drafted from UK into the Major League Baseball Draft. Plus
- 1:19:46Speaker 2: what was the reaction of the number one overall player?
- 1:19:50Speaker 3: Man?
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: That was something else. We'll talk about that too. Stay
- 1:19:52Speaker 2: right there, last segment of Justice. Kat's coming right over.
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: You keep Ma Hans on myself, macaon show. Just a
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: little day, girl, isn't me? All right? What team are
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: you now rooting for in the World Cup?
- 1:20:43Speaker 2: Because we're down, We're down to Uh what, I'm real hot.
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: All of a sudden, it seems like the mica is
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: real hot now, is that not right?
- 1:20:55Speaker 1: Okay? What happens? I mean just during your break this stuff.
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: Stuff happens. But anyway, we're down to four teams.
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: You've got Spain, England or France, Argentina okay, and Argentina's messy, right,
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: Argentina's messy.
- 1:21:13Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: Are you disappointed the Norway team loss, because it seems
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: like a lot of the since the United States team
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: got eliminated, a lot of people started rooting for Norway
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: because of that one guy, what's.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: His name, Hayland. Yeah, that was very disappointing. I was
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: on team Norway as well, but that game I couldn't
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: even be mad because that game on Saturday freaking rocked. Now,
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: I don't understand what Norway was doing. They were down
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: two to one going into the second half of extra
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: time and they took Holland out. I don't know if
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: that was a hymn decision. Now he did play, according
- 1:21:55Speaker 1: to the coach, the Norwegian coach, he said, no, he
- 1:21:58Speaker 1: was just done. Yeah, I don't I don't understand that.
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: Like Holland did not have a good game on Saturday.
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: But that's your best player. I mean, in a game
- 1:22:10Speaker 1: that if you don't win, you go home. I don't
- 1:22:12Speaker 1: care if I've got zero percent left in the tank.
- 1:22:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna stay out there and I'm gonna try my
- 1:22:17Speaker 1: damn just to make sure that we can level this
- 1:22:19Speaker 1: game up and have a chance of penalty kicks. Maybe
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: I did not damn coming out.
- 1:22:25Speaker 3: I yeah, I would.
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: I think one of the more famous times that a
- 1:22:29Speaker 2: player was not taking out but was not playing really
- 1:22:32Speaker 2: good was Anthony Davis in this title game with UK. Yeah,
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: and even Anthony Davis is I'm not doing really well.
- 1:22:40Speaker 2: I'm just gonna feed the ball to y'all, and he's
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: still contributed to me a team, Like there'd be a
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: way for Holland to contribute even though he's not having
- 1:22:48Speaker 2: a great game.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean he's still that's a thing, Like he's
- 1:22:51Speaker 1: still a presence out there. Everybody's defensively, he's got to
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: concentrate on him. So that's taking bodies away from other
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: people and maybe gonna free up more space. But yeah,
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: that was that was a bummer. As for who I'm
- 1:23:03Speaker 1: rooting for moving forward, not Argentina, although I do love Messy,
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: really they they won it last year. I don't want
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: them to go back to back that last year you
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: mean the last time last World Cup. Yeah. I like
- 1:23:15Speaker 1: England a lot, their teams a lot of fun. Spain
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: is boring to me, I don't. I do like Spain,
- 1:23:22Speaker 1: but they play a boring style of of soccer. So
- 1:23:24Speaker 1: I'm gonna go We're not going to root for France
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: just because they're France. I'm rooting for France. French fries.
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: French fries are really good. They at least gave those
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: to us, So yeah, let's go for it.
- 1:23:34Speaker 2: Okay, good, all right, So you're going for France. I
- 1:23:36Speaker 2: don't know who I'll root for. But the game is
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: going to be three o'clock tomorrow between France and Spain.
- 1:23:42Speaker 2: When is the English Wednesday?
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: Okay? All right?
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: And now these games are being played in New York, right,
- 1:23:51Speaker 2: the last four game?
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: Two games that I don't I know the championships in
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: New Jersey. I don't know where this is.
- 1:23:57Speaker 2: Yeah that's what I thought too, So okay, well, never mind.
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: But I thought it was pretty cool that they were
- 1:24:03Speaker 2: showing Holland and his family. They stayed evidently in the
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: stadium for the longest time, like another hour or two
- 1:24:11Speaker 2: after the game was over. And how much he said
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: this has been the greatest experience of his life, how
- 1:24:16Speaker 2: much he loved coming to the United States. I mean,
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: it has been one of those situations where a lot
- 1:24:22Speaker 2: of the European well I shouldn't say that, a lot
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: of the teams from out of this country have just
- 1:24:29Speaker 2: had a great time in the United States. And it's
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: been a great experience for him. That's the part I've
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: enjoyed the most seeing all that.
- 1:24:36Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it's been Holland should have had a
- 1:24:38Speaker 1: great experience because he became a superstar during this World Cup.
- 1:24:42Speaker 1: I mean, and real real soccer fans already knew of
- 1:24:45Speaker 1: early Holland and have for years, but this was this
- 1:24:48Speaker 1: was his coming out party where everybody else got to
- 1:24:51Speaker 1: enjoy what he has to offer. And I was really
- 1:24:53Speaker 1: happy that he got to experience that, and and America
- 1:24:56Speaker 1: as a whole got to experience him because he has
- 1:24:58Speaker 1: a lot of fun.
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: Is just me or does he look like he is
- 1:25:02Speaker 3: a Viking?
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: He does no very much, so, I mean he looks like, yeah,
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: maybe it's the pony tail.
- 1:25:09Speaker 1: I don't know. Well, it's been funny because his sister's
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: kind of become a superstar as well through this whole process. Really,
- 1:25:16Speaker 1: she she doesn't look just like him, but she looks
- 1:25:19Speaker 1: enough like him to and knows and she's able to
- 1:25:22Speaker 1: like mimic his movements and walk and stuff. So she's
- 1:25:25Speaker 1: become a pretty big deal too. I can't go back
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: and check that out. I can't get on Instagram without
- 1:25:31Speaker 1: seeing something about Holland. Really, Okay, I'll get on there
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: and see.
- 1:25:35Speaker 2: I uh the I did enjoy this. Uh So, the
- 1:25:40Speaker 2: number one MLB draft pick was a guy named and
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: tell me if I'm saying it right, Rock?
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: Is it?
- 1:25:47Speaker 3: R O c H? Would you pronounce that rock?
- 1:25:51Speaker 1: R O C H? Probably Rosch?
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: Don't, Okay, I don't know. Tulawski is his name. He
- 1:25:58Speaker 2: played baseball at UC Did you see his reaction after
- 1:26:01Speaker 2: he got picked?
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: I didn't. He literally started crying.
- 1:26:06Speaker 2: Oh what a Baby's exactly what I thought. And I
- 1:26:14Speaker 2: don't know if his girlfriend, wife, sister or what, but
- 1:26:17Speaker 2: she started hugging him immediately. His reaction is never going
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: to die. Just to let you know it is, it
- 1:26:26Speaker 2: might be. Listen, I understand getting emotional, especially in a
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: situation like that, you're the number one draft pick in
- 1:26:32Speaker 2: any sport. But man, I don't know if this is
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: a going to be a good look for him for
- 1:26:38Speaker 2: a long time. But you've got to go look up
- 1:26:41Speaker 2: with what Rock chol Auski look like when when he
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: heard his name being picked? Does he number one draft
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: pick in Major League Baseball? Are you looking up the picture?
- 1:26:50Speaker 1: I am, And I know, I know I had the
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: whole baby comment, but that is really cool. I mean,
- 1:26:54Speaker 1: it's the moment you've waited for your whole life and
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: you've put it.
- 1:26:58Speaker 3: Yeah, you put all.
- 1:26:59Speaker 1: The slews and countless hours. Yeah, so it is a
- 1:27:03Speaker 1: it is a cool moment. Yeah, but kind of a
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: he did lose it.
- 1:27:07Speaker 2: It's it's yeah, it's a little much to me. It's
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: a little much. I don't know, but uh, maybe maybe
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: I'm wrong.
- 1:27:16Speaker 1: I mean, well, I know the the top three pick
- 1:27:20Speaker 1: or the top pick was a really tough decision for
- 1:27:22Speaker 1: the White Sox. I mean, they had three four guys
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: they had their eye on, so it might have been
- 1:27:27Speaker 1: one of those things we're going into the draft. He
- 1:27:29Speaker 1: truly had no idea that he was going to be
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: number one.
- 1:27:33Speaker 2: Maybe, so, I mean that's that's probably more the rear reaction.
- 1:27:37Speaker 2: Maybe he genuinely, excuse me, did not know he was
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: going to be drafted number one. But I still wouldn't
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: give that kind of reaction. I would be jumping up
- 1:27:47Speaker 2: and down screaming. I wouldn't be crying. I don't know.
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: I mean, I just I don't think I would be
- 1:27:54Speaker 1: reacting that way. I mean, it just it depends everybody's
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: got a different mindset, right because I'm like, I'd be
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: standing up, I'd be doing Tiger fifth, Tiger Woods, fist
- 1:28:04Speaker 1: pumps and everything. I wouldn't maybe the emotion of the
- 1:28:08Speaker 1: of the situation would.
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: I'd be hugging women, kissing babies. I mean, I just
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: like you know, I'd be hugging every guy out there too.
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: It's like I would be elated, But I don't think
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: I would be thrown to tears that I'm crying.
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: I just I just thought that was a little on
- 1:28:23Speaker 3: the unusual side.
- 1:28:24Speaker 2: But congratulations to him and uh and wherever he's going
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: to be playing. But UK's best player in a long time.
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: Tyler Bell was drafted number ten overall, becomes the second
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: highest pick in UK baseball history. Headed to the Colorado Rockies.
- 1:28:42Speaker 1: God, good for him exactly.
- 1:28:46Speaker 2: The team is not good for him, but it is
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: good for him. He was picked tenth overall. But yeah,
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: that could not have been a worst team for him. Well,
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: I don't know if that's the I think what would
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: be the worst team to go to?
- 1:29:02Speaker 1: The Rockies? You think so more than the Mets right now? Yeah,
- 1:29:07Speaker 1: because I mean, at least I don't know. New York's cool. Yeah, Okay,
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: so you're talking about the city part of it, well,
- 1:29:14Speaker 1: both of them. I'm trying to combine the city plus
- 1:29:18Speaker 1: just how bad the team is. Every see I would
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: say Las Vegas. I lied. There's an easy answer here. Milwaukee,
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: Kansas City. No, because at least with at least with
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: Milwaukee you get to win divisions and stuff. Kansas City
- 1:29:33Speaker 1: is not doing that. They're horrible. And you gotta live
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: in Kansas City, yu, Yeah, because it's.
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: Right in the middle of the country. There is nothing there.
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: I would be, okay, if I played with the Cubs,
- 1:29:47Speaker 2: I'd be. I don't know if I'd want to play
- 1:29:49Speaker 2: for the White Sox, even though it's the same city.
- 1:29:52Speaker 2: I can tell you, man, I wouldn't want to play
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: for Las Vegas.
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: I just there's there's nothing out there.
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: Well it will be pretty soon, but I mean oak
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: I mean, if it was Oakland, I wouldn't want to
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: play for Oakland, even though that San Francisco Bay Area.
- 1:30:09Speaker 1: About Sacramento, no, because there's no sacrament that's where they've
- 1:30:15Speaker 1: been playing.
- 1:30:16Speaker 2: Well yeah, but that's temporary until Las Vegas gets it going.
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: I don't know. I just.
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: That I I alright, probably Minnesota.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: There you go.
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: I would not want to go to Minneapolis and play
- 1:30:30Speaker 2: up there. So there you go. Yeah, that that's final
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: answer right there. Minneapolis, are you really Yeah? See, I
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: think those two are really good. Between that one. Minneapolis,
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: Kansas City, and Milwaukee are the three?
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: Milwaukee's gorgeous. What's gorgeous about it? Right on the lake there? Okay? Great? Uh?
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: Buzz texted in five O two four one four fourteen
- 1:30:56Speaker 2: fifty semi final games are at Jerry World, so down
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: in down Dallas and Mercedes in the in in Atlanta.
- 1:31:04Speaker 3: So there you go. So I don't know where no, no, no,
- 1:31:08Speaker 3: no no no.
- 1:31:08Speaker 1: The semi finals. Yeah, so one game.
- 1:31:12Speaker 2: Is in Dallas, one game is in Atlanta, and then
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: the final is going to be up in New Jersey.
- 1:31:16Speaker 2: I mean, I keep saying New York, but it's basically
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: New Jersey.
- 1:31:19Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 1:31:21Speaker 2: Yeah, to me, it is, I mean, it's it's definitely
- 1:31:24Speaker 2: one and the same. But uh, anyway, but congratulations to
- 1:31:28Speaker 2: Tyler Bell. I'm glad for him.
- 1:31:30Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:31:31Speaker 2: There have been a number of other players that were
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: drafted as well, but uh, a few of them have
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: decided to stay at UK and so that'll be good
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: for them, and I'm I'm I'm happy that they're coming
- 1:31:41Speaker 2: back to the UK. So you'll be watching that, I'm sure,
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: like crazy, what's up the semifinals?
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: Oh yeah, you went from baseball to soccer, back to soccer.
- 1:31:55Speaker 3: Okay, fine, well we got basketball now.
- 1:31:58Speaker 1: You know.
- 1:31:58Speaker 2: The TV tea starts this weekend excited about games at
- 1:32:03Speaker 2: noon and we'll talk more about that later on this
- 1:32:05Speaker 2: week between the Phil and Loft, Amelia, I'm saying it correctly.
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: Yeah, we're not doing that though.
- 1:32:16Speaker 3: We're not doing off. What are we doing.
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: We're just not spending another summer trying to teach you
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: how to say it. You're gonna say it the way
- 1:32:23Speaker 1: you say it. I'm starting to say it though correctly.
- 1:32:27Speaker 1: I'm saying, oh my gosh, man, you had me worried.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: It's like, Okay, I'm not saying it correctly. Still, La Amelia,
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: I gotta be close. Are you watching Home Run Derby tonight?
- 1:32:40Speaker 3: I'm gonna watch a little bit of it.
- 1:32:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: The worst part of it is I gotta go to
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: the Dennist as soon as we're done here. That's not
- 1:32:45Speaker 2: going to be fun. So but I'm gonna watch the
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: baseball tonight. Oh, you have plenty of time to recover,
- 1:32:52Speaker 2: right about that. It's not till late, yeah, late late
- 1:32:55Speaker 2: as usual. That was the other thing. A lot of
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: people were complaining about the the times of these games
- 1:33:00Speaker 2: for the World Cup, that they should be dictated by
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: the country. It's in not where other people are watching.
- 1:33:07Speaker 1: You personally love that they're at three o'clock. Oh do
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: you really? I think it's awesome because you could watch it.
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: You can in this day and age, you can record
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: it and it's no big deal.
- 1:33:19Speaker 1: Sure. Yeah, yeah, And I don't. I'd much rather watch
- 1:33:22Speaker 1: it at three than it'd come on at nine o'clock
- 1:33:25Speaker 1: and I have to stay up late.
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: Well, then you're living how Los Angeles has lived for
- 1:33:29Speaker 2: so many years. When the baseball, the World Series and
- 1:33:32Speaker 2: or the NFL Monday Night Football or any of that
- 1:33:35Speaker 2: kind of stuff. I'm like you, it'd be kind of
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: cool to see those kind of games in the middle
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: of the week at a random hour.
- 1:33:42Speaker 1: There's nothing better than the two times I've been to
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: Las Vegas waking up on Sunday morning and watching football
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: at ten am.
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: That's all really wow, that's amazing. All right, we got
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: to go for today. I appreciate you listening, and we'll
- 1:33:54Speaker 2: see you tomorrow. Everybody on just scats, have a great day. O.
- 1:34:00Speaker 1: My rubboss got kicks. I'pin yours is Unteen fifty sixteen.
