- 0:58Speaker 2: Let's go here.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Microsoft was last week it was that it's fifty two
- 1:07Speaker 3: week low of two hundred and thirty two dollars. It's
- 1:11Speaker 3: fifty two weeks high with three hundred and forty nine dollars.
- 1:15Speaker 3: So you know, you always talk about people always talk
- 1:19Speaker 3: about you want to invest in their fifty two week low.
- 1:21Speaker 3: It's at two hundred and forty dollars now, so was
- 1:25Speaker 3: the time to buy Microsoft last week? Do you see
- 1:28Speaker 3: Microsoft as a company that's now on the uptick? And
- 1:32Speaker 3: why did Microsoft fall so much? When Apple didn't really
- 1:37Speaker 3: fall that much? Apple fell, but it didn't it didn't
- 1:40Speaker 3: fall to fifty two week low.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:42Speaker 4: Apple wanted to get down to one forty goes as
- 1:45Speaker 4: low one thirty seven, yeah, one thirty seven, and it
- 1:48Speaker 4: was peaked at what got a pretty.
- 1:51Speaker 2: High it's peaked for the year two Yeah, I mean.
- 1:55Speaker 4: So it's a it's a huge pullback. Is it a
- 1:58Speaker 4: good time to buy Microsoft? I mean it's the same
- 2:01Speaker 4: question I get, like if somebody asked me it's a
- 2:03Speaker 4: good time to buy Apple, I'm like, yes, yes, it's
- 2:06Speaker 4: always a good time. In fact, I added to my
- 2:08Speaker 4: kids custodial accounts with Apple, with Microsoft, and uh with Google.
- 2:14Speaker 4: I think Google got under one hundred dollars. So I
- 2:17Speaker 4: was like, all right, well this is my time.
- 2:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:20Speaker 4: I mean I don't I don't like what Ian just said, like,
- 2:22Speaker 4: find the four companies that you love and want to
- 2:24Speaker 4: keep on term. We've said this for two and a
- 2:27Speaker 4: half years three years now. Microsoft is one of them.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 2:30Speaker 4: I mean you can hold up the emojis there right,
- 2:33Speaker 4: like those are those?
- 2:34Speaker 2: Are the that up? Right? Yeah?
- 2:37Speaker 6: I mean if some interesting stats on Microsoft, if you
- 2:39Speaker 6: look at all versions of Win those Microsoft has seventy
- 2:43Speaker 6: five percent of share and the DESKTIP and the desktop
- 2:46Speaker 6: operating system market. That is not going to change the
- 2:48Speaker 6: truth of why Apple fell. And Microsoft felt like to
- 2:52Speaker 6: put it very clear that economy is damaged. I'm not
- 2:57Speaker 6: going to say beyond repair, but this is the most
- 2:59Speaker 6: critical state that we've been in a long time, and
- 3:01Speaker 6: I would argue even worse than two thousand and eight.
- 3:05Speaker 6: So as a market is being pushed down, everyone has
- 3:08Speaker 6: so much fear, and that's why the dollar's risen so much.
- 3:11Speaker 6: Everyone's like, let me just go to cash. I don't
- 3:13Speaker 6: know when this is going to end. I don't have
- 3:15Speaker 6: Ian's crystal Ball. He won't sell me a license to it,
- 3:18Speaker 6: so I don't know what a market is going to
- 3:19Speaker 6: buy him out. Let me just put my money underneath
- 3:22Speaker 6: the mattress, and as long as my place doesn't catch
- 3:24Speaker 6: on fire, I'll be safe. And I totally understand that,
- 3:29Speaker 6: but I think they have a competitive advantage as well
- 3:33Speaker 6: as Apple, and I said, we can talk about it
- 3:35Speaker 6: if we want you later. But also with Apple pushing
- 3:37Speaker 6: into the NFC space, which could be very damaging for
- 3:43Speaker 6: lovers of crypto and NFTs, those are the two safeest stocks.
- 3:48Speaker 6: But but they're falling because of global fear. Like if
- 3:51Speaker 6: you look right now, there are not too many bright spots.
- 3:53Speaker 6: Oilists come down, Commodity prices have come down, inflation is up,
- 4:00Speaker 6: Utility has not hit the peak what it should yet
- 4:02Speaker 6: for a reversal. So I'm looking for like forty on
- 4:05Speaker 6: the victor, maybe forty five before we start to buy
- 4:08Speaker 6: them out. We're just in the middle of an economic storm.
- 4:12Speaker 6: And even though we have all the data around it,
- 4:16Speaker 6: and no matter how many times I can tell you, hey,
- 4:18Speaker 6: listen to money Master the game. Re money Master the game.
- 4:20Speaker 6: When you're in the thick of the fire, it is
- 4:22Speaker 6: not fun. The only salvation that you have right now
- 4:25Speaker 6: as an investor is to be able to trade short term,
- 4:28Speaker 6: to be able to provide games, and if your business owner,
- 4:30Speaker 6: to put your foot on the gas in terms of
- 4:31Speaker 6: marketing and growing your business. But in the overall market,
- 4:35Speaker 6: it's really scary now, Like I said before, it's only
- 4:39Speaker 6: maybe thirty companies, maybe twenty in the S and P.
- 4:42Speaker 5: Five hundred that our worth is wait and goal, you
- 4:45Speaker 5: say no, go ahead.
- 4:48Speaker 4: Now I was gonna say, you said forty two on
- 4:49Speaker 4: the Vics.
- 4:50Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, okay, Yeah, gotcha, forty two, forty five of
- 4:55Speaker 6: where we start to turning around and truth, and I've
- 4:57Speaker 6: been saying it for maybe a year and a half,
- 4:59Speaker 6: we have to have publicly traded companies that innovate a
- 5:02Speaker 6: lot better and a lot faster and actually create more
- 5:06Speaker 6: value in the marketplace. One of the things I talked
- 5:08Speaker 6: about with the good folks over matter needing with will.
- 5:11Speaker 6: So as a result, this is going to be a
- 5:15Speaker 6: changing of the guard where we actually have to produce
- 5:19Speaker 6: better returns, better products, better services that are better internationally
- 5:22Speaker 6: as well, and not just get endless rounds of funding.
- 5:25Speaker 6: And the companies that will do that over the next
- 5:27Speaker 6: five years will dominate the next fifty years. But right now,
- 5:31Speaker 6: this is the part of the roller coaster that's not
- 5:33Speaker 6: fun to be gone.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Forty two.
- 5:36Speaker 4: That means there's some pain on the way.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Yeah, let's talk about this. The last question before we
- 5:41Speaker 3: bring our guests on, is okay why should crypto enthusiasts
- 5:47Speaker 3: and NFT lovers be worried about apples potential playing and
- 5:50Speaker 3: take over the market? And what is what is Apple
- 5:53Speaker 3: planning on doing?
- 5:55Speaker 6: So? I know everyone always like yo, your Apple enthusiasts,
- 5:58Speaker 6: you always caping for apps. Let me give you an
- 6:01Speaker 6: alternative perspective on the not so good side. So Apple
- 6:06Speaker 6: is going to allow developers to sell NFTs in the
- 6:10Speaker 6: gaming platform and an app. So hypothetically, what if they
- 6:17Speaker 6: put an Ethereum wallet in every mobile game?
- 6:22Speaker 5: There's a billion users on the platform.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Earners, what's up? You ever walk into a small business
- 6:29Speaker 4: and everything just works like the checkout is fast, their
- 6:32Speaker 4: seats are digital, tipping is a breeze, and you're out

- 7:35Speaker 4: This episode is brought to you by P and C Bank.
- 7:38Speaker 4: A lot of people think podcasts about work are boring,
- 7:41Speaker 4: and sure, they definitely can be, but understanding a professionals
- 7:45Speaker 4: routine shows us how they achieve their success little by little,
- 7:48Speaker 4: day after day. It's like banking with P and C Bank.
- 7:52Speaker 4: It might seem boring to save, plan and make calculated
- 7:55Speaker 4: decisions with your bank, but keeping your money boring is
- 7:58Speaker 4: what helps you live or more more happily fulfilled life.
- 8:02Speaker 4: P and C Bank Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty five.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty five is a service mark
- 8:09Speaker 4: of the P and C Financial Service Group, Inc. P
- 8:12Speaker 4: and C Bank National Association Member FDIC.
- 8:18Speaker 5: What will happen.
- 8:18Speaker 6: As a result, you had now have another major institution
- 8:25Speaker 6: that is eating up the lion's share of that crypto
- 8:30Speaker 6: space in tandem with JP Morgan owning a lion's share
- 8:34Speaker 6: of it. And this isn't the time where I'm going
- 8:36Speaker 6: to say hey, I told you so. But anytime we
- 8:40Speaker 6: say hey, this is the greatest thing on earth and
- 8:43Speaker 6: this is for the people, the institutions are going to
- 8:45Speaker 6: find a way to say, hey, let me get a
- 8:47Speaker 6: piece of that thing.
- 8:50Speaker 4: So now I was an add to what you're saying
- 8:53Speaker 4: with one hundred percent, right, I think most people will
- 8:55Speaker 4: look at it and most of the headlines will say, well,
- 8:57Speaker 4: people are going to have to pay that thirty percent
- 9:00Speaker 4: cut that Apple's going to pay for anybody that sells
- 9:03Speaker 4: inside the app. And short term it sounds like, oh,
- 9:05Speaker 4: that's a problem, most people want to do it. But
- 9:07Speaker 4: when you that piece that you said, one billion users
- 9:11Speaker 4: users to the space, that thirty percent almost becomes like,
- 9:14Speaker 4: all right, that's just the cost to do business, right,
- 9:17Speaker 4: because you're bringing one billion people in crypto. You know,
- 9:20Speaker 4: obviously it's still very new, like twelve years in, but
- 9:23Speaker 4: there's still people who don't know all the effects or
- 9:26Speaker 4: how to use it or what is even meant for
- 9:28Speaker 4: if you get people on the iPhone. You got one
- 9:30Speaker 4: billion users now in that space that can purchase that.
- 9:33Speaker 4: The other part actively do it. But the interesting part
- 9:36Speaker 4: is that they're going to sell the NFTs for US dollars.
- 9:40Speaker 4: You don't even have to use a crypto to buy them, right.
- 9:43Speaker 4: You can convert that after right, you can do it,
- 9:45Speaker 4: convert it to bitcoin or Ethereum, Masona or anyone that
- 9:48Speaker 4: you want to. But you can buy the US dollars,
- 9:50Speaker 4: which makes the use case even more attractive. Right now,
- 9:53Speaker 4: I don't have to figure out, wait, I got to
- 9:55Speaker 4: buy this and get this and put this in my
- 9:57Speaker 4: wallet to purchase it. No, I could just use my
- 9:59Speaker 4: US dollars to purchase it. The use case and the
- 10:03Speaker 4: user case there. It makes it a lot more easier,
- 10:05Speaker 4: which makes more people even intrigued to get in.
- 10:08Speaker 2: So I mean it would be beneficial for Apples, for NFTs.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Yeah, for NFTs too, but some of those companies that
- 10:16Speaker 4: are relying on those spees.
- 10:18Speaker 6: I mean, but but if it's supposed to be decentralized,
- 10:21Speaker 6: like even after they get to merge. Now it's six
- 10:24Speaker 6: exchanges that have what sixty five percent of the distribution. Now,
- 10:29Speaker 6: Apple also has a great relationship with the government, and
- 10:33Speaker 6: wait till the regulations come. Now, during times of disaster,
- 10:40Speaker 6: prayers are gonna the surf love you and praying for you.
- 10:43Speaker 6: During times of disaster and economic calamity, more charges come.
- 10:48Speaker 6: So now in two or three years, they're going to
- 10:50Speaker 6: push heavier crypto regulation and you're going to start to
- 10:54Speaker 6: see a lot of talk about government. I mean from
- 10:56Speaker 6: our government. Is crypto an issue of national security? And
- 11:00Speaker 6: if they waved the flag for Apple and say hey,
- 11:02Speaker 6: you're going to be our measure of safety and everything
- 11:05Speaker 6: is done through you. Now you have JP Morgan, Apple
- 11:07Speaker 6: in the United States government eating up majority of the
- 11:10Speaker 6: crypto And guess what if the games are not coming
- 11:12Speaker 6: from iPhone fourteen when Steve jobs dart To say it's
- 11:15Speaker 6: no better than thirteen, you don't think they won't run
- 11:18Speaker 6: to their crypto market and get it there.
- 11:21Speaker 5: Tough man. I know everyone said last year I didn't know,
- 11:24Speaker 5: and then here we are.
- 11:27Speaker 6: JP Morgan might go ahead Apple US government military game
- 11:32Speaker 6: set match.
- 11:33Speaker 2: So but but it is beneficial though for.
- 11:35Speaker 6: Apple there's no different than Universal owing all the masters
- 11:40Speaker 6: to and back when Leo was a deaf jam and
- 11:43Speaker 6: it was yeah, it was beneficial for murder Aim to
- 11:45Speaker 6: have a label deal and Leor ended up with everything
- 11:47Speaker 6: went to three hundred and YouTube.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Well, I think it's like.
- 11:51Speaker 3: It's kind of like when Crypto, when Fidelity's starting to
- 11:55Speaker 3: let Crypto and fall one k's and different it's official
- 12:00Speaker 3: to Crypto because more it's more exposure. Is it legitimizes
- 12:05Speaker 3: the space even more and it means that it's even
- 12:09Speaker 3: more of a case why it's here to stay, but.
- 12:11Speaker 6: It's more Okay, So imagine if let's make up a
- 12:16Speaker 6: network ABC network, well it's the actual ABC. XYZ network
- 12:21Speaker 6: came to us and said, hey, we want sixty five
- 12:23Speaker 6: percent of everything that you do content wise, but we'll
- 12:27Speaker 6: give you legitimacy. We will we take that deal. I
- 12:28Speaker 6: would say, no, it's the same thing. So now if
- 12:32Speaker 6: we have seven major players, and it may of course
- 12:35Speaker 6: give legitimacy to it, and it may make the overall
- 12:38Speaker 6: market cap larger, but there is not decentralized and not
- 12:42Speaker 6: for the people, and it's not a too little liberation.
- 12:45Speaker 3: I think the idea of decentralized is a part in
- 12:48Speaker 3: this guy the wealthy control every last year.
- 12:51Speaker 5: No one was saying that though, does that mean I
- 12:53Speaker 5: was getting killed?
- 12:53Speaker 1: Who?
- 12:55Speaker 3: The wealthy always control everything last year. They controlled the
- 12:58Speaker 3: NFT market last year. So you know, it's never going
- 13:01Speaker 3: to be a situation where it's the great equalizer and
- 13:05Speaker 3: it's the poor man's weight of wealth. Like, once people
- 13:09Speaker 3: see that this is a viable option, you know, the
- 13:12Speaker 3: rich are going to control it. Powerful institutions, banks, hedge funds,
- 13:16Speaker 3: they're going to control it. They controlled it last year,
- 13:20Speaker 3: They controlling it this year.
- 13:23Speaker 7: Yes, my graduates from my school being forced back drop
- 13:30Speaker 7: bag drop mic drop backdrop drop.
- 13:44Speaker 2: Behind the delivery trucks that keep your life stocked.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Thousands of employees at BP go to work every day.
- 13:50Speaker 6: People bringing a new offshore production platform online, people making
- 13:54Speaker 6: our refineries capable of more, like making renewable diesel from
- 13:57Speaker 6: agricultural waste.
- 13:59Speaker 4: People trading in shipping fuels to our customers, and people
- 14:02Speaker 4: helping truckers fill up and get maintenance at our convenient locations.
