Transcript
- 0:08Speaker 1: All right, saying, ah might be something you do when
- 0:10Speaker 1: you go to the dentist. Okay, and your boy recently
- 0:13Speaker 1: was just at Valley Dental right here in Fargo, actually
- 0:16Speaker 1: fairly close to where we were, Angie.
- 0:18Speaker 2: How convenient for you.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Now, this is one of the most embarrassing things that
- 0:24Speaker 1: I think I've ever accidentally have happened to me in
- 0:26Speaker 1: my life.
- 0:27Speaker 3: This is beautiful to me because you don't strike me
- 0:29Speaker 3: as someone who gets embarrassed very often. It's for you
- 0:32Speaker 3: to proclaim that this is embarrassing. I mean, I am
- 0:35Speaker 3: sat popcorn bready to tell me what you did.
- 0:37Speaker 1: Is so the embarrassing thing has nothing to do with
- 0:40Speaker 1: the the digits in the mouth here, they're all good.
- 0:43Speaker 1: No cavity is nothing, okay, okay, But I have to
- 0:46Speaker 1: give a big sorry to Kayla, who was my dental hygienist.
- 0:50Speaker 1: You know, the lady who does the cleaning. Yes, okay.
- 0:52Speaker 1: So Kayla was cleaning away on my teeth. And you
- 0:56Speaker 1: know they have that tool, that little silver thing. It's
- 0:58Speaker 1: like a mirror, but it also can be used to
- 1:00Speaker 1: like keep your tongue out of the way.
- 1:02Speaker 4: Yes, okay, So she had this.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Mirror thing keeping my tongue out of the way of
- 1:07Speaker 1: her cleaning my mouth. And so every couple of seconds
- 1:11Speaker 1: or minutes or whatever, you know, they got a change
- 1:12Speaker 1: tool the thickness of the thing to grind away in
- 1:15Speaker 1: between the teeth.
- 1:16Speaker 4: The plator, what have you.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Okay, So we had a little miscommunication on if we
- 1:20Speaker 1: were getting a new tool, doing a fifteen second break
- 1:23Speaker 1: or what we were doing. Okay, and Kayla takes out
- 1:26Speaker 1: some of her fingers out of my mouth with the
- 1:28Speaker 1: tool still in there, and I thought, oh, okay, she's
- 1:31Speaker 1: gonna move that. I get to spit in a little
- 1:33Speaker 1: straw thing and off we go. Kayla did not move
- 1:36Speaker 1: one of her fingers. And Kayla had one finger with
- 1:39Speaker 1: a glove on in my mouth. And when I tell you,
- 1:43Speaker 1: I basically sucked on this finger like a lollipop for
- 1:47Speaker 1: three seconds.
- 1:48Speaker 4: Was the most awkward thing.
- 1:50Speaker 1: And Matt, you know, put your finger in your mouth
- 1:52Speaker 1: right now and then just like slide it out like.
- 1:56Speaker 4: It was the most awkward thing I've ever happened to me.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Instantly apologizing, I'm like, oh my god, I'm so sorry.
- 2:04Speaker 1: That was not on purpose. YadA YadA, YadA. And you know,
- 2:07Speaker 1: she had been talking about her hubby and they had
- 2:09Speaker 1: a kid, and I was talking about my wife YadA, YadA, YadA,
- 2:12Speaker 1: and here I am sucking on her fingers.
- 2:14Speaker 2: Yabe.
- 2:15Speaker 3: This is the worst thing I've ever heard. You know,
- 2:17Speaker 3: I hate secondhand embarrassment. I would have done. I mean,
- 2:21Speaker 3: that'd be I would never return to the dentist cavities
- 2:23Speaker 3: for the rest of my life.
- 2:24Speaker 2: I would never return.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Oh yash.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Now she was very very nice about it, and she
- 2:29Speaker 1: was basically said, oh, no, that's fine, like things happen,
- 2:32Speaker 1: you know, as long as you don't bite me, we're
- 2:33Speaker 1: all good. But I now had to sit there for
- 2:35Speaker 1: the remainder of this twenty minutes or what have you
- 2:38Speaker 1: going This girl thinks I'm weird, or this girl yeah
- 2:41Speaker 1: I'm a freak.
- 2:42Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Oh, this is the worst thing I've ever heard. Did
- 2:46Speaker 2: you tell your wife.
- 2:47Speaker 4: This right now?
- 2:49Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:51Speaker 3: I'm ready to see your phone light up with text messages.
- 2:57Speaker 4: If you just missed it.
- 2:58Speaker 1: About ten minutes ago, I told this very embarrassing story
- 3:01Speaker 1: about a little miscommunication on whether my dental hygienist was
- 3:06Speaker 1: going to remove her hand from my mouth or not
- 3:08Speaker 1: while she was cleaning away, which ended up embarrassingly enough
- 3:12Speaker 1: with me sucking on a finger for about three seconds.
- 3:14Speaker 1: It was like the world horrible. It was like the
- 3:16Speaker 1: world moved in slow motion. It was so embarrassing.
- 3:20Speaker 2: That happened to me.
- 3:21Speaker 3: I would have died, yeah, or walked away with my
- 3:23Speaker 3: next husband.
- 3:25Speaker 2: Right.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Well, it was funny. I had not told my wife
- 3:28Speaker 4: that story.
- 3:28Speaker 1: And then you were like, well, she's probably gonna text
- 3:30Speaker 1: you now, And my wife did text me, and I
- 3:32Speaker 1: do have nothing what she's said. Yeah, she said, oh
- 3:34Speaker 1: I heard the dental hygienis story. Actually that was pretty funny.
- 3:38Speaker 1: And of course, Angie, you'll love this part. It's good
- 3:40Speaker 1: to hear you're going through some adversity. Yeah, things don't
- 3:44Speaker 1: happen to you, Angie, they happened for you. Earlier on,
- 3:50Speaker 1: we had talked about this very embarrassing moment I had
- 3:52Speaker 1: at the dentist where long story short, I accidentally kind
- 3:57Speaker 1: of sort of might have like sucked on my dentist's
- 3:59Speaker 1: finger on it accident.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Okay. It was like the world moved in slow motion.
- 4:02Speaker 1: It was so embarrassing, and I had to share that
- 4:06Speaker 1: with you today to let that person know. Kayla, who
- 4:08Speaker 1: was my dental he that it was not on purpose,
- 4:10Speaker 1: and she was very very nice and very very cool
- 4:12Speaker 1: about her.
- 4:12Speaker 2: So embarrassing.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I had so much secondhand embarrassment. That's the worst kind
- 4:16Speaker 3: of embarrassment.
- 4:17Speaker 2: So Mikey, my boyfriend, texted.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Because he was listening to the show and said that
- 4:23Speaker 3: I need to tell the story of how I embarrassed him.
- 4:27Speaker 4: I'm glad Mikey's got my back.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Yeah, he always does. At my doctor's appointment.
- 4:31Speaker 3: So for those who don't know, I got a breast
- 4:34Speaker 3: reduction at the beginning of the year because they were
- 4:38Speaker 3: just low hanging watermelons and now they are perky cantalopes.
- 4:43Speaker 2: And that's that's the gist of it.
- 4:47Speaker 3: So I was not ready for I had my six
- 4:51Speaker 3: week pulse stop appointment to see is everything good? Do
- 4:55Speaker 3: I have the green light to work out? Like, how's
- 4:58Speaker 3: everything healing?
- 4:59Speaker 2: You know whatever?
- 5:00Speaker 4: And you lift stuff and I lift things.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:02Speaker 3: So I had Mike come with me because that's my guy.
- 5:05Speaker 3: I love him, and he comes with me to everything
- 5:07Speaker 3: that I do because I think maybe I'm codependent.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Have you ever seen that meme about the girl who's like,
- 5:13Speaker 1: go somewhere myself.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Yeah, that's me, that's you. Yeah.
- 5:16Speaker 4: Right.
- 5:17Speaker 3: So we're in the office, I'm wearing the gown, you know,
- 5:19Speaker 3: the front is open, the twins are out there, you know,
- 5:23Speaker 3: being examined by my surgeon, and I'm asking all the questions.
- 5:27Speaker 3: So I ask if I'm cleared to start working out again,
- 5:31Speaker 3: and he said, yeah, at this point, you should be
- 5:32Speaker 3: lifting things. I told him I have dumbbells, so I
- 5:35Speaker 3: can be doing like the ten pound dumbell waits whatever,
- 5:38Speaker 3: and he said, yeah, absolutely, go for it. And I
- 5:41Speaker 3: look over at Mikey and then I look at my
- 5:43Speaker 3: surgeon and I say, and then what about other fun activities?
- 5:49Speaker 3: Am I cleared to do those? And he looks at
- 5:54Speaker 3: me and he says, yeah, yeah, you can get back
- 5:59Speaker 3: to all the activities you want.
- 6:01Speaker 2: You can do those.
- 6:03Speaker 3: And so I turned to Mikey, who is red faced
- 6:06Speaker 3: because I didn't think he was expecting me to say that, and.
- 6:10Speaker 2: I hit him with an up top to get a
- 6:13Speaker 2: high five.
- 6:14Speaker 4: I kind of like that.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Move, Mikey. He did, to his credit, he did give
- 6:21Speaker 2: me the high five, very slowly, but very slowly and
- 6:25Speaker 2: with a look on his face that I never want
- 6:27Speaker 2: to see that again.
- 6:28Speaker 3: The disappointment, the shame, the embarrassment, and I mean my
- 6:33Speaker 3: surgeon laughed.
- 6:34Speaker 2: He thought it was funny. Yeah, and then you know,
- 6:36Speaker 2: Mikey laughed too.
- 6:38Speaker 3: But I told I looked at him and I said,
- 6:40Speaker 3: you chose this life, like.
- 6:41Speaker 2: You know, the kind of woman that you are with.
- 6:45Speaker 3: And I think it's great that I got the green
- 6:47Speaker 3: light for that, and Mikey should think it's great that
- 6:50Speaker 3: we got.
- 6:50Speaker 2: The green lights.
- 6:51Speaker 4: That's right.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Whatever, don't be embarrassed, Mikey.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Usually it's parents when they're out.
- 6:57Speaker 1: Maybe girls in their hubbies feel this way, or guys
- 7:00Speaker 1: their wives, but mostly when people are out, it's like,
- 7:02Speaker 1: oh my gosh, my kid said the dumbest thing. What's
- 7:05Speaker 1: funny is your significant other has to go out and
- 7:07Speaker 1: be like, oh my god, my girlfriend said the dumbest thing.
- 7:11Speaker 2: It any other way.
- 7:16Speaker 1: Celebrating life's little victories victory every morning we practice gratitude
- 7:21Speaker 1: on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 7:23Speaker 5: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 7:25Speaker 5: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 7:29Speaker 1: I just really needed to win, you know, sure your
- 7:31Speaker 1: little victories with us at seven oh one two eight
- 7:34Speaker 1: one eight seven.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Andie do have a little victory for us here this morning?
- 7:39Speaker 3: I do, And you've actually become part of that little victory.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I am the coat in a second.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Yesterday I asked you if you wanted to make a
- 7:53Speaker 3: quick trip to the Quick Star.
- 7:56Speaker 4: That's right.
- 7:58Speaker 2: And I didn't even.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Know what I wanted to get. I just knew I
- 8:01Speaker 3: wanted to snack on something.
- 8:02Speaker 4: And I just wanted to go shopping.
- 8:04Speaker 3: I found the most amazing snack in all the land,
- 8:09Speaker 3: sweet Tie Chili sunflower seeds, and so I was snacking
- 8:15Speaker 3: on them yesterday during a meeting because I'm very unprofessional.
- 8:21Speaker 2: But then like halfway through, you were like, let me try.
- 8:24Speaker 4: I want to see a couple.
- 8:26Speaker 3: They're delicious, and I already have them out this morning
- 8:30Speaker 3: so that we can snack on them while the songs play,
- 8:34Speaker 3: never while we're talking.
- 8:35Speaker 4: That's right.
- 8:36Speaker 2: But yeah, I what a big back victory. But yes,
- 8:40Speaker 2: I was very.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Excited to get these sweet Tie Chili sunflower seeds.
- 8:46Speaker 1: And with a quick start with a name like that,
- 8:48Speaker 1: you never know what you're getting into. Yeah, you know,
- 8:51Speaker 1: sweet Tie Chili sunflower seeds. They're incredible. We're gonna see
- 8:55Speaker 1: that these all morning. It's a nice little breakfast, yes.
- 8:58Speaker 2: And it's got a grams of protein per server.
- 9:02Speaker 4: That's right. My little victory for you today.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Well, yesterday I have I didn't try to do this, okay,
- 9:09Speaker 1: but yesterday I took a nap at about six that's terrible,
- 9:13Speaker 1: six thirty and the word you know, I probably slept
- 9:15Speaker 1: toll like nine.
- 9:16Speaker 4: It was the worst. And obviously, I you know, I
- 9:18Speaker 4: must have needed it. I guess.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:20Speaker 1: But my little victory is I was like, oh, no,
- 9:23Speaker 1: I missed the Wild Game. I turn on the Wild
- 9:26Speaker 1: Game very quickly just to see like, oh, this thing's
- 9:28Speaker 1: probably over. I turn on the game. There's about four
- 9:31Speaker 1: minutes left and they were winning four or five to
- 9:34Speaker 1: zero one of the two. So right after that I went, well,
- 9:37Speaker 1: this is over and went right back to sleep.
- 9:39Speaker 2: So they did end up winning.
- 9:40Speaker 1: Though, dominated absolutely dominated, with a five to zero win yesterday,
- 9:44Speaker 1: which is very exciting.
- 9:46Speaker 4: And yeah, I guess my nap must have been needed.
- 9:48Speaker 4: You know, I'm not a big.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Napper and I at all and I'm usually pretty good
- 9:51Speaker 1: at keeping a nap till like twenty minutes, but I
- 9:54Speaker 1: slept well.
- 9:55Speaker 3: I think the real victory there, Gabe, is that you
- 9:58Speaker 3: listened to your body.
- 9:59Speaker 4: That's right.
- 10:04Speaker 1: The Saint Patrick's Day Pub Crawl this Saturday, which is
- 10:07Speaker 1: presented by Bud light very exciting.
- 10:11Speaker 2: And you know what, I really appreciate that.
- 10:13Speaker 3: I know no one is going to make the irresponsible
- 10:17Speaker 3: choice to drink and drive.
- 10:19Speaker 2: I love that. I trust you.
- 10:21Speaker 3: However, drinking and purchasing, I feel like that's fine.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Yeah, we actually kind of encourage.
- 10:28Speaker 2: That, yeah, cause it's always funny.
- 10:30Speaker 3: So we did ask this on the Big ninety eight
- 10:32Speaker 3: point seven Facebook page, and we're asking you now chime
- 10:35Speaker 3: in seven oh one two eight oh one to nine
- 10:37Speaker 3: eight seven, what is the most expensive or wildest purchase
- 10:41Speaker 3: you have made after having a few too many.
- 10:45Speaker 2: I know for me this was really dumb on my part,
- 10:48Speaker 2: but that's the point, I guess.
- 10:50Speaker 3: So I had just been laid off from my job
- 10:54Speaker 3: and I had tickets to a Google Dolls concert though
- 10:58Speaker 3: that I had gotten a long time ago.
- 10:59Speaker 2: So what am I not going to go to.
- 11:00Speaker 4: The content to go?
- 11:02Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 11:02Speaker 3: So I went to the concert, and I was also
- 11:05Speaker 3: in mourning that I got laid off, so I was
- 11:08Speaker 3: really tossing them back, and then I thought, you know
- 11:11Speaker 3: what I should do right now is buy two tickets
- 11:15Speaker 3: to the Pitbull concert coming.
- 11:18Speaker 2: Up in eight months.
- 11:20Speaker 3: And so I bought two tickets, but they were so
- 11:23Speaker 3: wildly expected, I mean so expensive. Yeah, And I didn't
- 11:28Speaker 3: realize until I actually went to the concert months later
- 11:31Speaker 3: that it was because I had gotten tickets in this
- 11:33Speaker 3: special VIP section.
- 11:35Speaker 4: And it was like, oh nice, that's.
- 11:37Speaker 3: Why almost a thousand dollars was missing from my bank account.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Girl, you ain't have no job. What it was so dumb.
- 11:45Speaker 3: But when it came time to the concert, I mean
- 11:47Speaker 3: I had a blast.
- 11:48Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm sure it was a great time.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it was great.
- 11:50Speaker 4: But you probably could have used one thousand dollars at
- 11:52Speaker 4: the time.
- 11:52Speaker 1: Yeah, not smart, all right. I actually saw one on
- 11:55Speaker 1: our Facebook page. This is from Jeff. He said twelve
- 11:58Speaker 1: hundred dollars on Peace upgrades. And I remember saying, I
- 12:02Speaker 1: hope sober Jeff appreciates it.
- 12:04Speaker 4: And I have to say, Jeff, we are one and
- 12:08Speaker 4: the same.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I knew and now I didn't spend twelve hundred dollars,
- 12:11Speaker 1: but it was around seven hundred dollars where I was like,
- 12:15Speaker 1: you know, I think I'm gonna buy a new graphics card,
- 12:18Speaker 1: which if you're into PCs you would know what that is.
- 12:20Speaker 1: It's yeah, it's a seven hundred dollars like little just
- 12:24Speaker 1: piece of equipment essentially, and yeah, and this.
- 12:27Speaker 4: I don't even think I.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Was really that drunk. I think I was just like
- 12:30Speaker 1: buzzed that playing some cod with the boys that a
- 12:35Speaker 1: couple of beers.
- 12:36Speaker 3: It was like, yeah, you really wanted it, and then
- 12:39Speaker 3: you needed the liquid cards trigger.
- 12:42Speaker 2: You used to swipe the card that we did have
- 12:45Speaker 2: a few of these.
- 12:45Speaker 3: And I love this. Marisa said meat Bean, not the human,
- 12:51Speaker 3: and it's a picture of her child and a little
- 12:53Speaker 3: cute dog who clearly is the one named.
- 12:56Speaker 4: Bean, right.
- 12:57Speaker 2: I like this. She made it clear I didn't buy
- 12:59Speaker 2: a chie.
- 13:00Speaker 3: I bought a dog. And there's a couple of people
- 13:03Speaker 3: on the FB who are like, yeah, I got myself
- 13:05Speaker 3: a dog.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm sure it happens.
- 13:07Speaker 1: You know, you're feeling good, you're feeling you're feeling yourself
- 13:11Speaker 1: and you see a cute little doggie, Like it's totally totally.
- 13:14Speaker 4: An excuse to be able to bring one of those homewns.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Yeah, here it is, Kayla. I also love picture evidence. Kayla.
- 13:21Speaker 3: She got her Corgi bear when she had a few
- 13:23Speaker 3: too many.
- 13:24Speaker 2: He's cute.
- 13:25Speaker 1: I like Michael, though Michael, he bought an engagement ring.
- 13:28Speaker 1: He needed some bravery to go around and then Finally this.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I don't know why this makes me laugh so hard,
- 13:34Speaker 1: but because I've seen a ton of this show, and
- 13:37Speaker 1: maybe you wouldn't think I had, but growing up, my
- 13:39Speaker 1: mom would let me stay up past nine to watch
- 13:42Speaker 1: this show with her. So I really respect Sharon who,
- 13:45Speaker 1: after a few too many, bought the entire series.
- 13:49Speaker 5: Of Er.
- 13:52Speaker 1: What you can probably find on HBO or now well probably.
- 13:56Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a box set of the DVDs. Right,
- 13:58Speaker 2: I wow?
- 14:00Speaker 3: So the most surprising answer. You can add your answer
- 14:03Speaker 3: on the big ninety eight point seven Facebook pages. These
- 14:05Speaker 3: are so fun to read through or call leus text
- 14:08Speaker 3: us seven oh one two eight zero one to nine
- 14:10Speaker 3: eight seven?
- 14:11Speaker 2: What did you buy when you had a few too many?
- 14:15Speaker 5: Now?
- 14:15Speaker 4: About a month ago? About that sounds right right?
- 14:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a month ago. These pictures are a
- 14:22Speaker 2: month apart, So.
- 14:23Speaker 4: Yes, about a month ago.
- 14:24Speaker 1: Angie and I had a just a little friendly Super
- 14:27Speaker 1: Bowl bet where if the Patriots won the Super Bowl,
- 14:32Speaker 1: I got to take a picture or some kind of
- 14:34Speaker 1: selfie on Angie's phone and I would have been her
- 14:38Speaker 1: phone background for like a month.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Terrible, what a horrible fate.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Now, obviously the Patriots did not win the Super Bowl. Actually,
- 14:48Speaker 1: you know, they didn't even really show up, to be honest,
- 14:50Speaker 1: with the Seahawks dominated, and Angie chose the Seahawks in
- 14:53Speaker 1: the game and her side of the bet or I
- 14:56Speaker 1: guess my punishment would be, I will have to grow
- 15:00Speaker 1: my hair out until baby g arrives into the world.
- 15:04Speaker 3: This is so exciting to me. So a month ago
- 15:06Speaker 3: we took the day one photo.
- 15:09Speaker 1: And if you don't know this about me, I buzz
- 15:11Speaker 1: my hair pretty short a lot. I have a solid
- 15:14Speaker 1: head of hair. It's not like that is what is
- 15:17Speaker 1: wild to me. And part of this, I think I
- 15:19Speaker 1: was doing you a service because I think you look
- 15:21Speaker 1: great with it. There was once upon a time where
- 15:23Speaker 1: you had long hair.
- 15:24Speaker 3: Yeah, And when I first stalked you on Instagram, when
- 15:27Speaker 3: I knew we were gonna work together, I saw those
- 15:29Speaker 3: pictures and I thought, Hey, this man's.
- 15:31Speaker 2: Got a full head of hair. And so we took
- 15:35Speaker 2: a picture on day one, and we just wanted to give.
- 15:37Speaker 3: The update because I don't forget of the memory of
- 15:41Speaker 3: an elephant. And so he has been, in fact growing
- 15:44Speaker 3: his hair out. So we're posting on the Big ninety
- 15:46Speaker 3: eight point seven Facebook page a little one month update
- 15:50Speaker 3: on Gabe's hair growth. This is so funny to me
- 15:55Speaker 3: because Gabe, you are younger than me technically, which I
- 16:00Speaker 3: hate it. However, the more your hair grows, the more
- 16:04Speaker 3: salt and pepper.
- 16:05Speaker 2: It is, and I love this for me.
- 16:07Speaker 1: The more grays, I'm shock. See that's right. It's kind
- 16:11Speaker 1: of weird. Yeah, because I can grab it now. Does
- 16:14Speaker 1: that make sense? You can run your hands through my hair, yeah,
- 16:18Speaker 1: as opposed to when I always just buzz it to like,
- 16:20Speaker 1: you know, a millimeter or whatever.
- 16:22Speaker 4: Yeah, there's obviously nothing there.
- 16:23Speaker 2: I like this.
- 16:24Speaker 3: I think that by when all a said and done,
- 16:27Speaker 3: because the baby is deuced in the summer, right, yes,
- 16:30Speaker 3: so we have some months. I think you're gonna obviously
- 16:33Speaker 3: go through this awkward phase or your.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Hair looks like Carol Brady maybe from the Brady Bunch.
- 16:40Speaker 3: But I think when all a said and done, it's
- 16:43Speaker 3: gonna look so good and you're not going to want.
- 16:45Speaker 2: To cut it.
- 16:46Speaker 4: You think I'll be thanking at the end of the day.
- 16:48Speaker 3: Yes, And I think that you will have luscious locks
- 16:51Speaker 3: for the birth of your child.
- 16:52Speaker 4: It is kind of interesting. I think your hair grows
- 16:54Speaker 4: like an inch a month. Does that sound about right?
- 16:56Speaker 2: I mean I feel like it's different for everybody.
- 16:58Speaker 4: Yeah, for me, that's what it kind of feels like.
- 17:01Speaker 1: I think in the picture you'll see like the side
- 17:03Speaker 1: by side of one month, I'd say it's about an
- 17:05Speaker 1: inch longer. So that is kind of crazy to think,
- 17:08Speaker 1: you know, six seven inch hair growth by then.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Potentially I love this.
- 17:13Speaker 2: I love this.
- 17:14Speaker 3: We're gonna post the picture right now in the big
- 17:15Speaker 3: ninety eight points.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I'm a Facebook page. Encourage game to keep with it.
- 17:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna see so many gray hairs coming.
- 17:27Speaker 3: Now.
- 17:27Speaker 1: Angie and I dove into this conversation yesterday and we
- 17:30Speaker 1: wanted to bring it to you here this morning because
- 17:33Speaker 1: I don't know, I think it's kind of interesting. What
- 17:35Speaker 1: would you say is the hardest part about being the
- 17:39Speaker 1: opposite gender? So obviously, if you are a guy, what
- 17:42Speaker 1: do you think the hardest part about being a girl is?
- 17:44Speaker 1: If you are a girl, obviously, what would the hardest part.
- 17:47Speaker 4: About being a dude?
- 17:49Speaker 2: All right?
- 17:50Speaker 1: And what would you say, Angie, what do you think
- 17:51Speaker 1: the hardest part about me waking up and going about
- 17:54Speaker 1: day to day life?
- 17:56Speaker 4: So this my life's pretty sick.
- 17:57Speaker 3: I don't think that you have this pro and I'm
- 18:00Speaker 3: annoyed because you're really gonna take it and run with
- 18:03Speaker 3: it when I finished this thought, but initially I was
- 18:06Speaker 3: the reason we didn't finish this conversation yesterday is because
- 18:08Speaker 3: I couldn't think of anything. I thought, you guys have
- 18:11Speaker 3: it so easy. However, I think it's hard being a
- 18:16Speaker 3: guy in terms of if you're just ugly. Like, if
- 18:20Speaker 3: you are an ugly guy, there's not really I feel
- 18:26Speaker 3: like there's less you can do to try to fix it.
- 18:28Speaker 3: Then if you're a girl who's feeling kind of frumpy,
- 18:31Speaker 3: humpty dumpty ugly as a lady, there's a lot. I
- 18:34Speaker 3: feel like there's a lot we can do to like
- 18:36Speaker 3: spruce it up. If you're a guy and you're ugly,
- 18:39Speaker 3: there's only so much you can try to grow beard.
- 18:41Speaker 4: You can try to grow beard or maybe get a
- 18:43Speaker 4: hair out.
- 18:43Speaker 2: And then make it.
- 18:44Speaker 4: Yeah, and that's it.
- 18:45Speaker 3: And if it doesn't help you, then you're just an
- 18:49Speaker 3: ugly guy.
- 18:50Speaker 2: And that's above.
- 18:50Speaker 3: As someone who's very vain, I would hate that, although
- 18:53Speaker 3: I think I would be a very attractive man.
- 18:55Speaker 1: But yeah, we have to bring the face that we
- 18:57Speaker 1: got to everyday life, Angie, That's what I'm saying.
- 19:00Speaker 2: I don't think that you have that problem.
- 19:02Speaker 3: I think that you're a good looking fellow, so I
- 19:04Speaker 3: appreciate you're fine. Other than that, I don't know what
- 19:07Speaker 3: is even hard about being a guy.
- 19:08Speaker 2: Someone tell me seven oh one two, eight.
- 19:10Speaker 3: Oh one, nine eight seven, because I'm struggling to find something.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Yeah, let us know this morning. And speaking of that,
- 19:16Speaker 1: we do have Vivian on the phone. Vivian, what's the
- 19:19Speaker 1: hardest part about being the opposite gender?
- 19:21Speaker 3: I think the hardest part about being a guy is
- 19:24Speaker 3: you're expected to know how to fix things.
- 19:26Speaker 4: My husband will watch if I've been at YouTube video and.
- 19:28Speaker 3: Then suddenly he's crawling under the sink like he's a
- 19:30Speaker 3: licensed clutter.
- 19:31Speaker 4: That is exactly what being a dude is right there.
- 19:35Speaker 2: That is true.
- 19:35Speaker 1: There's a ton of us who don't know how to
- 19:37Speaker 1: do jack squat, and without YouTube we couldn't fix anything.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Now I'm convinced I could do heart surgery with the
- 19:46Speaker 1: YouTube video.
- 19:47Speaker 2: I don't you know what, Gabe, we get it.
- 19:50Speaker 3: You live a charmed life, You're handsome, you're handy.
- 19:53Speaker 2: What can't you do?
- 19:54Speaker 4: There's a lot I can't do, but YouTube helps me out.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Well, what do you think the hardest part about being.
- 19:59Speaker 1: A lady is the hardest part about being a lady
- 20:02Speaker 1: for my guess, because if this happened to me ever,
- 20:06Speaker 1: I just bust out and start crying instantly. But I
- 20:10Speaker 1: would guess it would be every month for a massive
- 20:15Speaker 1: chunk of your life.
- 20:17Speaker 4: There's a visitor. Yeah, I would hate that so much.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Yeah, oh my gosh, guys, could nabb I could?
- 20:26Speaker 1: I couldn't? It be the worst? And we also do
- 20:28Speaker 1: have Jacob on the phone. Jacob, what do you think
- 20:30Speaker 1: the hardest part about being a lady is?
- 20:33Speaker 5: I have to think that all that makeup has got
- 20:35Speaker 5: to be the hardest part about everyday life as a woman.
- 20:37Speaker 2: I can't imagine having to do that every single day. Yeah,
- 20:42Speaker 2: so I don't.
- 20:43Speaker 4: That's right. I couldn't imagine doing that every day either,
- 20:47Speaker 4: or feeling like you have to now.
- 20:48Speaker 5: I know.
- 20:48Speaker 1: I don't know if there's been like a renaissance of this.
- 20:50Speaker 1: Maybe it's been around forever, but I haven't paid attention.
- 20:53Speaker 1: I do feel like wearing less makeup has gotten a
- 20:55Speaker 1: lot more popular.
- 20:56Speaker 2: Okay, no, oh my gosh, I know you're such a boy.
- 20:59Speaker 4: Okay, I'm just around you every day, so rude.
- 21:04Speaker 2: Okay, you know what.
- 21:05Speaker 3: I'm not meme where I look good, But if you
- 21:08Speaker 3: see me at work, I don't know what to tell you.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Now. I think that the I.
- 21:12Speaker 3: Think in terms of the makeup, it's when it looks
- 21:15Speaker 3: like we're not don't. I'm not the good example for this,
- 21:19Speaker 3: but the whole Oh, she doesn't wear any makeup, No
- 21:22Speaker 3: she does. She's wearing makeup to look like she doesn't
- 21:24Speaker 3: wear makeup. If you're a lady, you know, yeah, if
- 21:27Speaker 3: a lady, you know what I'm talking about. It's the
- 21:30Speaker 3: no makeup makeup.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Look yeah, I'm seven oh one two eight zero one
- 21:33Speaker 1: nine eight seven. Let us know what you think. What's
- 21:35Speaker 1: the hardest part about being the opposite gender? We also
- 21:37Speaker 1: do have this up on Facebook.
- 21:41Speaker 4: This is am I the problem?
- 21:44Speaker 3: It's me.
- 21:47Speaker 4: The problem.
- 21:47Speaker 2: It's me.
- 21:48Speaker 4: We'll hear one side of the story and with.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Your help, am I the problem with you decide if
- 21:53Speaker 3: it's right or if maybe you're the problem.
- 21:56Speaker 4: I'm hardly the problem.
- 21:57Speaker 2: On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 22:00Speaker 3: Shana wrote into us, and I want to remind you
- 22:03Speaker 3: if you ever have an am I the problem, you
- 22:06Speaker 3: can submit it to us. Head to Big nine eight
- 22:07Speaker 3: seven dot com click the on air tab and you
- 22:10Speaker 3: can message us right there, Shana said, gab and Ange.
- 22:13Speaker 3: By the way, I like being called Ange, so that
- 22:15Speaker 3: was nice, gab and Ange. I don't know if this
- 22:18Speaker 3: qualifies as a real problem, but I'm sending anyway. My
- 22:21Speaker 3: fiance and I have breakfast together every morning.
- 22:24Speaker 2: It's our favorite part of the day. But I know
- 22:27Speaker 2: I love that very cute.
- 22:28Speaker 3: But he's been eating grape nuts since the New Year
- 22:32Speaker 3: as part of his diet because we're shedding for the wedding.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Oh, I've been there. This man's chewing is the loudest
- 22:39Speaker 2: thing I've ever.
- 22:40Speaker 3: Heard, specifically because of the grape nuts. I think it
- 22:45Speaker 3: grates my nerves and it grates in capital letters, and
- 22:49Speaker 3: I don't want to stop having breakfast tot together or
- 22:52Speaker 3: disrupt his diet if he likes it. But oh my gosh,
- 22:56Speaker 3: I might end up on the news for murdering him
- 22:59Speaker 3: if I have to hear that crunching until the wedding.
- 23:03Speaker 3: I just have to deal with it, huh. I think
- 23:06Speaker 3: I feel better just venting. But if you have any advice,
- 23:09Speaker 3: I'm all ears. We also have this up on the
- 23:12Speaker 3: Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page if you want
- 23:14Speaker 3: to chime in. Of course, you can call us seven
- 23:17Speaker 3: oh one to it all one nine eight seven or
- 23:19Speaker 3: text us.
- 23:20Speaker 2: I think, Shana, welcome to married life. This is just
- 23:25Speaker 2: the beginning. You can't be mad at this, and I
- 23:28Speaker 2: think you know that my advice.
- 23:30Speaker 3: However, you find something super annoying to do during breakfast.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Yeah, and then made even that.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Part, and then when he mentions it, you can say, okay,
- 23:43Speaker 3: well what about the way you eat grape nuts?
- 23:45Speaker 2: Is this why I'm not married?
- 23:46Speaker 4: Game?
- 23:48Speaker 1: You know what my advice here, and I'm sorry her
- 23:50Speaker 1: name is Shana. Shana, Yeah, you know my advice is Shana.
- 23:54Speaker 1: Suck it up, buttercup. Okay, if you enjoy this breakfast
- 23:57Speaker 1: and it's a nice, wonderful time for you and your
- 23:59Speaker 1: fielt to have some you know, meaningful time before you
- 24:02Speaker 1: go off and explore your adventures for the day or
- 24:05Speaker 1: go to work or whatever that may be.
- 24:07Speaker 3: I like that you said explore adventures before work.
- 24:10Speaker 4: Right, Just suck it up? Okay.
- 24:12Speaker 1: He can't do anything about how he choose the grape
- 24:14Speaker 1: not's this one actually kind of touches a nerve with me.
- 24:17Speaker 1: Her And because my wife also hates when I eat cheese.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Its oh any part of the day, at any time
- 24:25Speaker 1: of life. She goes, oh, you got the box of cheese.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Its so my next twenty minutes is about to be
- 24:30Speaker 1: the most annoying twenty minutes of the entire day.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Okay, but you're still married, so you can get through it.
- 24:35Speaker 3: So Shana, Yeah, I don't know what to tell you, girl.
- 24:38Speaker 3: I like that she wanted to vent though. I like
- 24:41Speaker 3: that we could bet it.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Does feel good to get an off her chest. I
- 24:44Speaker 1: bet so, shanea good for you. But or yeah, just
- 24:47Speaker 1: don't have breakfast with him. I guess that's the other alternative.
- 24:50Speaker 1: But do you really want to do that?
- 24:51Speaker 2: I don't know what are your thoughts?
- 24:53Speaker 3: Seven one two eight on one nine eighty seven, also
- 24:55Speaker 3: up on the Big ninety eight point seven Facebook page.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Do you have a similar issue with you partner when
- 25:01Speaker 3: they chew?
- 25:02Speaker 1: I have one that's not chewing, but it does involve
- 25:05Speaker 1: dishes that is very similar to this. I'll share it
- 25:07Speaker 1: with you in about six minutes. And why I do it?
- 25:16Speaker 3: Shana was venting because her fiance crunches his grape nuts
- 25:21Speaker 3: way too loud at breakfast every morning.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Should she say something or should she just let it go?
- 25:29Speaker 3: I feel like, don't get mad, get even you do
- 25:32Speaker 3: something super annoying at breakfast, Shana, so that then when
- 25:36Speaker 3: he mentions it, you can say, well, what amount you're chewing?
- 25:39Speaker 3: And that's the greatest foundation for a mary.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Yeah, finding a random argument, you start going.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Tip for tat what do you think, Gabe.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Stephanie chimed in, I'm on the side of it. You
- 25:52Speaker 1: just suck it up. We're having breakfast together. I mean,
- 25:55Speaker 1: that's about it, right, Yeah, but Stephanie said, I like
- 25:58Speaker 1: the buttercup advice, which is what I said. You just
- 26:02Speaker 1: suck it up. She said, I agree, invest in some
- 26:05Speaker 1: ere plugs. Let's not murder anyone, which obviously I think
- 26:08Speaker 1: you know, was just a joke. Yeah, Yolanda chimed in,
- 26:12Speaker 1: if his chewing is annoying, now wait until his breathing
- 26:15Speaker 1: is annoying later. But in all honesty, there's probably something
- 26:19Speaker 1: you do too that annoys him equally.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why she's gotta start doing that at break
- 26:26Speaker 2: is right.
- 26:27Speaker 4: Do you know what I do to annoy my wife?
- 26:29Speaker 4: And in that, I mean, I'm.
- 26:30Speaker 3: Sure there are several things games, so please narrow it down.
- 26:34Speaker 4: In the back of my head, I think it might
- 26:36Speaker 4: be cute, okay, but when I do the dishes, I
- 26:39Speaker 4: will do all the dishes or put them all in
- 26:41Speaker 4: the dishwasher or whatever, except one fork or one spoon
- 26:47Speaker 4: or one knife, and I will just leave it in
- 26:49Speaker 4: the sink.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I will divorce. I hate it.
- 26:52Speaker 1: I will like clean it off. It's like I leave,
- 26:54Speaker 1: you know, the full peanut butter fork in the sink.
- 26:57Speaker 1: But I will leave a fork in there to drive
- 26:59Speaker 1: my wife absolutely nuts. Now the way I see it,
- 27:03Speaker 1: at some point, when I inevitably leave this earth, my
- 27:06Speaker 1: wife will look back and go, you know what, I
- 27:08Speaker 1: wish there was that one fork in the sink.
- 27:12Speaker 2: You know what makes me mad is that I think
- 27:13Speaker 2: this is cute.
- 27:14Speaker 4: It's actually kind of cute.
- 27:15Speaker 5: I hate you.
- 27:16Speaker 1: You see what I'm saying. You know, my wife every day.
- 27:19Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Shane, I've kind of turned this into a
- 27:21Speaker 1: meet thing. My wife every day should be thankful, okay,
- 27:24Speaker 1: because there are so many more things I could do
- 27:27Speaker 1: to be annoying and I don't do it.
- 27:29Speaker 2: I don't think we should take Game's advice on anything.
- 27:31Speaker 3: I will say this, Shana, though, I will agree with
- 27:34Speaker 3: you on this, Shana, if in the event of his
- 27:39Speaker 3: untimely demise, you would be dying.
- 27:42Speaker 2: To hear the grape nut crunch.
- 27:44Speaker 4: That's exactly right.
- 27:45Speaker 2: Enjoy it girl.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Now Julia did have something very I think on the
- 27:49Speaker 1: nose here she said on Facebook. Julia said, unfortunately, yes,
- 27:53Speaker 1: you do have to deal with it. And then I
- 27:54Speaker 1: think she asked a question, is this a lot of
- 27:57Speaker 1: men because they do everything so loud? My husband he
- 28:00Speaker 1: eats loud, sneeze is loud, does every task loud, and
- 28:03Speaker 1: it drives me nuts. I love him, but this is
- 28:06Speaker 1: one of those things that happens when you live with
- 28:08Speaker 1: or are around someone constantly.
- 28:10Speaker 4: I'm sure I annoy my husband too.
- 28:13Speaker 2: I love this. Do they do everything loud?
- 28:17Speaker 4: Welcome to married life, Shanna.
- 28:21Speaker 2: I need some good.
- 28:24Speaker 4: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 28:28Speaker 4: good news. On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 28:31Speaker 1: A few dozen families received extra groceries during a special
- 28:36Speaker 1: food distribution hosted by West Fargo Eats. This was on
- 28:40Speaker 1: March tenth, which was actually just yesterday. The nonprofit shared
- 28:45Speaker 1: leftover non perishable items, meat and dairy from a previous event,
- 28:50Speaker 1: allowing even recent visitors.
- 28:52Speaker 4: To pick up food.
- 28:53Speaker 1: And Executive director Chelsea Boorman she had this to say
- 28:56Speaker 1: about helping the people who need it.
- 28:58Speaker 5: Being able to fill a little bit of a certainty
- 29:00Speaker 5: or just kind of give them that calm for a
- 29:02Speaker 5: little bit, or give them that bridge till the next week,
- 29:06Speaker 5: or however they see it. Just helping people kind of
- 29:08Speaker 5: get through the anxiety of what they might be feeling,
- 29:10Speaker 5: and just they so appreciate it.
- 29:12Speaker 1: Their pop up food pantries will return in May and
- 29:15Speaker 1: are expected to include fresh produce.
- 29:19Speaker 3: I love that food insecurity is the worst, and especially
- 29:23Speaker 3: they are coming back at the end of May, especially
- 29:25Speaker 3: when kids are out of school for the summer. That
- 29:28Speaker 3: can be the toughest months for them if they're at
- 29:31Speaker 3: least used to getting some food at school. So love
- 29:34Speaker 3: to see that the pop ups are coming back food insecurity.
- 29:37Speaker 3: I'm always going to be down for people helping remedy that.
- 29:40Speaker 1: The world is full of nice people. If you can't
- 29:42Speaker 1: find one, you gotta be one.
