Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_01]: Dr. Steve Turley joined me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_01]: something absolutely stunning just happened in deep red taxes and it's not what the Democrats of the legacy media were prepared for.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: The radical socialist that they were grooming is the next squad star just got humiliated at the ballot box establishment Republicans were shaken to their core and Magistar populism is quietly steadily rewriting the political map.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_01]: in the lone star state gang what went down in Texas last night is nothing short of a political earthquake and it's sending shockwaves through both parties from Austin to DC.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_01]: smack that bell and subscribe button in the highest profile Democrats Senate primary in the country.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: The media's darling, the radical leftist Congresswoman Jasmine Crocket, the one who made a name for herself, screaming at Republicans in house hearings, just got taken out by a relatively unknown state representative James Teleriko.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: Teleriko did just squeak by, he shocked.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: the entire Democrat apparatus in Texas.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: He ran on the nice sauce spoke in seminary train, cardigan wearing alternative to Crockett's combat of geto girl persona.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_01]: And Democrat voters went with Tela Riga.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: Wow.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: They uh,
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: At least the white Democrat voters, as expected, crock at one upwards, you know, the super 90% tiles of black voters, the vast majority of non-white voters.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: But my, oh, my, Talarico got massive margins with white voters in Travis County.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_01]: That's where Austin is.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: Williamson, all the rural counties,
- 2:15[SPEAKER_01]: They gave him the margins he needed to overcome crockets, leads, and places like Dallas County.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: And needless to say, Jasmine is big upset.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: She's big mad.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_01]: She's having a bit of a meltdown over this.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_02]: So that's my news.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_02]: Is there we're not gonna have elation results tonight in my opinion, based upon what specifically is taking place in Dallas County.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: Unfortunately, this is what Republicans like to do and so they specifically targeted Dallas County and I think we all know why.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_02]: So I want you to enjoy yourselves, but I won't be back tonight because I have no idea of when we're going to get results in our fully anticipate.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_02]: It won't be until tomorrow.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_01]: What's sad little idiot?
- 3:18[SPEAKER_01]: We love you, we love you.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_01]: So according to ghetto girl, the Republicans rigged the Democrat primary.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_01]: With that, we love the woman who just stood up there and said that the Republicans rigged her, but she's running against another Democrat, but it's the Republicans who rigged the election.
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm, I'm going to miss her, I'm going to miss that kind of borderline, illiteracy that's so perfectly represents the brain drain of the Democrat party.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_01]: That said, Talariko will provide plenty of entertainment, given how woke and far left he is.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think the Republicans are going to have a very hard time making minced meat out of this.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: Our southern border should be like our front porch.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_00]: There should be a giant welcome mat out front.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: Before we go further, I want to acknowledge that our trans community needs abortion care too.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: If sending trans Texans is something we have to do, every day is both masculine and feminine and everything in between.
- 4:25[SPEAKER_00]: God is non-binary.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, good luck selling that in Texas.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, ghetto girl would have been a lot more fun, but good luck with that.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: Good luck convincing a majority of Texans to vote for the guy who says we should put a welcome mat out on the southern border.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, good luck.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_01]: good luck getting border counties to vote for you saying that.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_01]: Now, in terms of who will be his opponent, Republicans in Texas had a bit of their own civil war last night.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_01]: The populists made some pretty good moves.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: First, of course, is the Blockbuster Senate primary on the GOP side for term Senate Senator John Cornean versus grassroots back, but unfortunately a bit scandal-played Ken Paxton,
- 5:14[SPEAKER_01]: Now the one could crack 50% so now we're headed to a runoff that might be the most explosive Republican showdown in the country court and slightly edged out Paxton in the first round last night shocking a lot of pollsters who had him trailing some even by double digits, but runoff or maggot territory.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_01]: So lower turnout, more ideological voters, a lot of fired up, packed and loyalists who see this as a referendum.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: The old Bush era, Neo-Kon, GOP, remember Bush is from the Bush family, well, Bush family is originally from Maine, but came on down to Texas.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_01]: So originally from New England and came down to Texas.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, the establishment survived the first punch here, but the second round is where Paco's do tend to hit back the hardest.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: We will see if Trump endorses.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: That will be very, very interesting.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: Does he want to play it safe and endorse corn and or is he like, like, there's, you know, Texas is a Trump plus 14 state.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_01]: The Republican is going to win.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: So why not go with the kind of Republican always be on your side, like, Paxton, then
- 6:22[SPEAKER_01]: where the old guard really got crushed.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the biggest prize night was, the biggest prize of the night was Dan Crenshaw.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, good old eye patch McCain, the incest and critic of maga and the popular space.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: he has gone he lost his primary decisively to conservative state representative steve ta taht ran unapologetically to krenchalls right i mean he is he is your perfect quintessential taxes representative he lined up with trumpeline figures
- 6:54[SPEAKER_01]: He hammered Crenshaw for his constant lectures against the mega grassroots.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: And Republicans did not disappoint.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: They showed up and they showed Crenshaw the door.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that was, it's not just a local race.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: That's the mega base sending a very clear message to every managed opposition Republican in the country.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: Your time is up.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, unless you've got $80 million like Corne in the Span, we're going to take you out.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: So we're seeing long time and comments all across the ballot and Texas either losing outright or being thrown into career threatening run-offs, but big money came in heavy at the last minute, Trump and Governor Abbott endorsed different candidates and some races.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: was always a bit of chaos for the political class.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_01]: The old assumption was that Texas primaries were just sleepy coronations for whoever the donors back.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: That's gone.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_01]: That's not happening anymore.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_01]: This is now a live battlefield where insurgent populace
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: knock off a Crenshaw, drag it corn into a runoff, even with tens of millions of dollars in establishment spending against them.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: But the big question of the night is, of course, are we seeing evidence of a blue wave?
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: Are we seeing the mid-terms moving solidly in the direction of the Democrats?
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's exactly what we're about to find out.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: But first, the crypto markets there shall we say a little shaky, but this is exactly when Patriots win.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_01]: Let's be clear, moments like this are unsettling, right, prices, debt, headline, scream, and the so-called experts tell everyday Americans to sit tight and do nothing.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_01]: But if you studied history, really studied it.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_01]: You know something crucial.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_01]: Every major leap forward begins with a pullback.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_01]: crypto is never moved in straight lines, shakes out the weekends and then time and time again, it surges higher, rewarding those who understand the moment they were in.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_01]: This isn't chaos, this is a reset.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_01]: While political dysfunction and economic uncertainty continue to rattle the system, smart patriots are doing what they've always done.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_01]: They're staying calm, they're thinking long term, they're positioning themselves.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: for the rebound.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_01]: That's why so many families, including my own, are turning a block trust IRA, not a panic, but out of confidence.
- 9:22[SPEAKER_01]: Their animus AI technology works around the clock, helping safeguard your assets through volatility, bank disruptions, and market whiplash, so you don't have to stare at charts all day wondering what comes next.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_01]: But here's the inside line.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_01]: Animus AI doesn't just play defense.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's lying and weight.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's positioned to be the very first one off the starting blocks.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_01]: The second the bull starts running again.
- 9:50[SPEAKER_01]: And in crypto, it always runs again.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: This is about building resilience.
- 9:56[SPEAKER_01]: This is about protecting your family's future.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, this is about being ready when the next move up comes as it always has hand on over to curly talks, crypto.com right now and take advantage of a free $2,500 funding bonus when you get started up in a long time, climb a block trust.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_01]: I love them.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: I know you will too.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: Click on that link below right now.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: Here's one of my favorite pictures that came out from last night, accepting applications for the quality layering Saturn.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's all man now greens there too, who he appears to have lost his seat last night as well.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it's official yet, but it looks like he's gone as well.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_01]: Leading up to these primaries, the legacy media spent weeks breathlessly hyping a supposed Democrat blew wave in Texas because early voting numbers for Democrats looked so strong.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_01]: And they told us this was proof that Texans were turning on Trump, that the Iran war in the border shut down, whether it's going to flip the state and the Democrats were energized like never before.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: But when the dust settled, what actually happened?
- 11:08[SPEAKER_01]: Well, yes, Democrats turned out.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_01]: Data shows Democrats outpace Republicans in early voting by significant margins.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_01]: Over 1 million Democrats voted early.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_01]: That is 12% higher than Republican early turnout.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_01]: Democrat participation far outpace 2022 and 2024 presidential primary levels.
- 11:30[SPEAKER_01]: And we've been seeing some analysts say that that's not good news for the Republicans.
- 11:36[SPEAKER_01]: uh... republicans are in be a heap of trouble democrats are fired up in republicans are just move humming and all you see see trump is losing his base right there's a couple of things here though again first and foremost there was a very high profile democrat primary right that number why means is steve co-barregot involved with it all that sort of stuff number two
- 12:03[SPEAKER_01]: There appears that a number of Republicans crossed over and voted most likely for Jasmine and the Democrat primary.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_01]: You can do that in Texas, but finally, as it turns out, when all the votes were counted, the GOP turned out pretty well themselves.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: Again, this is this is for a primary.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: In fact, it was a higher turnout for the GOP than 2022 and 2024.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: and despite all the publicity around the Democrat primary that used the Stephen Cobra hoax and all that, the Democrats in the end only managed to amass 30,000 more votes than the GOP, which given the size of Texas means nothing.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_01]: It is statistically irrelevant.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_01]: And the principal reason for that irrelevancy,
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: is that in Texas, primary turnout tends to be a very small, unrepresentative slice of the electorate compared to the general.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: And strong primary numbers for one party often do not translate into general election victories.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_01]: So the basic pattern is that primary is usually draw about 20%
- 13:26[SPEAKER_01]: to 15%, while general elections routinely draw 40 to 60% of registered voters, depending on whether it's a midterm or a presidential year.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_01]: For example, in 2018, about 52.6% of registered taxons voted in the general versus roughly the low to midteens in the primaries.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_01]: So it's perfectly common for the Democrats to quote when the primary turn out and still lose the state overwhelmingly in November.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_01]: Again, for example, in 2008 and 2020, Democrat presidential primaries in Texas drew more voters than the GOP primaries.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yet, Republicans went on to carry the state in the general handling both years.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_01]: And so at least when it comes to Texas, primary turnouts are a poor predictor of general election outcomes, because primaries mobilized the most ideologically committed voters.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_01]: What generals bring in a much broader, much more moderate electorate, which in Texas is overwhelmingly Republican.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's against a Trump plus 14 state.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_01]: So given that the GOP came within 30,000 votes, the Democrats all-time high primary turnout, that doesn't vote at all very well for the Democrats in the general.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: So, well, obviously, be keeping our eyes on how things play out for the Republican Senate runoff, but until then, Democrats still have yet to find any real hope for a blue wave.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't think any hope will come.
