- 0:01Speaker 1: Jarrey Katie and Josh one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: I got a whole stack of just odds and ends
- 0:06Speaker 2: nonsense that we just need to chat about.
- 0:08Speaker 1: Uh.
- 0:08Speaker 2: It is definitely swimming season. And here's a question for
- 0:12Speaker 2: everybody listening. Do you shower before you get into a pool? Uh?
- 0:17Speaker 2: Specifically a public pool, says this story, But I think
- 0:20Speaker 2: this would probably go for any pool.
- 0:23Speaker 3: I Uh, well, one, I don't get in pools.
- 0:25Speaker 1: Yeah, you're against them because.
- 0:27Speaker 2: The word pooh is in pools, So I don't. An
- 0:30Speaker 2: online poll was split. People were about fifty to fifty
- 0:35Speaker 2: whether or not you should rinse off before you get
- 0:37Speaker 2: in or if you just go cannonball get on in there.
- 0:40Speaker 2: So the biggest factor is one you should be doing it. Yeah,
- 0:44Speaker 2: it helps keep the pool clean.
- 0:46Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I thought.
- 0:48Speaker 2: If you don't shower or rinse off all the dirt
- 0:50Speaker 2: and grime that's on you, including sweat, body oils, any
- 0:56Speaker 2: lotion products that you have on you, guess where that's going. Right,
- 1:00Speaker 2: You're gonna have a little oil slick around you while
- 1:02Speaker 2: you're hanging out at water World.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Nobody likes that.
- 1:05Speaker 3: Nobody wants an oil slick.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Around the oil and they're also saying I've never heard
- 1:10Speaker 2: this before. Then it really protects your hair. And here's
- 1:13Speaker 2: a pool expert talking about by rinsing off before it
- 1:16Speaker 2: allows the pools to stay clean. The hair follicles in
- 1:19Speaker 2: your hair actually absorbed fresh water, not the chlorine water, so.
- 1:23Speaker 3: It's actually an extra layer of protection for your hair.
- 1:26Speaker 2: When you come out, you have still a little bit
- 1:28Speaker 2: of chlorine in your hair, so you want to make
- 1:30Speaker 2: sure you wash it out, rinse it off as well
- 1:32Speaker 2: as rinse your body off to get the chlorine off.
- 1:35Speaker 3: Is that Paul Mitchell or something?
- 1:36Speaker 1: Makes sense though, because I will tell you when I.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Get out of a pool, if I don't have some
- 1:41Speaker 4: kind of cap over my hair, it is so dry
- 1:43Speaker 4: and brittly and it just is nucky. Hey, So this
- 1:48Speaker 4: is some good advice as far as protecting it.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I dig that.
- 1:52Speaker 4: And I thought you were supposed to rinse off before
- 1:54Speaker 4: you got in the pool. Like I remember in my hometown,
- 1:56Speaker 4: the little city pool that I went to, they had
- 1:59Speaker 4: showers in you had the locker room, and then you
- 2:01Speaker 4: had the showers, and then you had to pool, and
- 2:03Speaker 4: you had to go through each step.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Just like urinate shower.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Pol exactly like you had to do one before he
- 2:08Speaker 1: did the other. You don't want to urinate in the pool.
- 2:11Speaker 3: Well, a lot of people just go right to pool
- 2:12Speaker 3: and urinate.
- 2:13Speaker 1: I know you're not supposed to do that.
- 2:14Speaker 3: A lot of times I'm not even in the pool.
- 2:16Speaker 3: I just stand on the edge and go in and
- 2:17Speaker 3: pee it.
- 2:18Speaker 1: See it's.
- 2:20Speaker 2: Na anyway. I've never heard that when you wash your
- 2:26Speaker 2: hair beforehand, it absorbs clean water and then it doesn't
- 2:29Speaker 2: absorb as much chlorine water. I don't know.
- 2:31Speaker 3: I like that all right.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Now, you're up to doated on everything pool related this morning. Yes,
- 2:36Speaker 2: I got another story for you.
- 2:37Speaker 3: It has to do with gummy worms.
- 2:39Speaker 4: This is what I'm afraid of because I love this
- 2:42Speaker 4: very important news.
- 2:44Speaker 2: I guess Trader Joe's has some banging gummy way.
- 2:47Speaker 3: You do it now, You're really really good.
- 2:51Speaker 2: There's all sorts of food influencers trying these gummy worms
- 2:55Speaker 2: right now, and there's like a unique texture to them.
- 2:59Speaker 2: They smell like like a birthday cake. Apparently they're very appealing,
- 3:04Speaker 2: very appetizing. Now the only problem is a single serving
- 3:09Speaker 2: of eight gummy worms.
- 3:12Speaker 3: Did I say bears earlier? Gummy worms?
- 3:14Speaker 2: Is gummy worms contain a whopping fourteen grams of dietary fiber?
- 3:20Speaker 3: How many?
- 3:21Speaker 2: How many servings are in a bag? Maybe that makes
- 3:23Speaker 2: total sense?
- 3:24Speaker 1: Now, actually, here's the day that makes total sense.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Let me put this into perspective.
- 3:32Speaker 2: One serving of meta musial fibergummies contains five grams of fiber,
- 3:38Speaker 2: and that'll get your rocket. These gummy worms, which are
- 3:42Speaker 2: highly addictive and delicious at Trader Joe's fourteen grams of
- 3:47Speaker 2: fiber per serving, let's say four servings per bag. People
- 3:51Speaker 2: are comparing it to the medicine that you take before
- 3:54Speaker 2: a colonoscopy. One person says, I ate a irving in
- 4:00Speaker 2: a half and confirmed, and I can confirm it cleans
- 4:04Speaker 2: you out fast.
- 4:05Speaker 3: Yes, it does.
- 4:06Speaker 1: No, it's so funny.
- 4:07Speaker 4: I just tried these gummy worms and now I feel
- 4:09Speaker 4: way better about myself.
- 4:11Speaker 3: I know I'm skinny.
- 4:14Speaker 2: One commenter said, I ate several handfuls and my stomach
- 4:18Speaker 2: has been a wreck for days.
- 4:21Speaker 1: Gotta be careful about this stuff.
- 4:24Speaker 3: Yeah, so read the label. Why would Trader Joe's do
- 4:27Speaker 3: us dirty? Like that?
- 4:29Speaker 1: Literally dirty?
- 4:34Speaker 2: Somebody else said, fiber Bee working overtime in these worms.
- 4:39Speaker 1: But they're so good, they're so hard to put down.
- 4:43Speaker 1: That's the thing is.
- 4:44Speaker 2: It's like, I watched the video this morning from a
- 4:47Speaker 2: TikToker that was trying these. She's just sitting in her car.
- 4:50Speaker 2: She like, I'm trying these new viable gumy worms. She
- 4:53Speaker 2: had no idea, you know, and I'm just laughing. She's like,
- 4:55Speaker 2: oh these are good, Oh these are tasty, and she's
- 4:57Speaker 2: doing like nine ten gummy worms.
- 5:00Speaker 3: I'm like, oh no, she doesn't know, no, she does.
- 5:04Speaker 1: About to find out though, all.
- 5:06Speaker 2: Right, so Peyton wrote in on the text line, she says,
- 5:09Speaker 2: I was out running some errands one day.
- 5:10Speaker 3: Trader Joe's was one of my stops.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I grabbed those gummy worms, munching on them while I
- 5:16Speaker 2: was running errands. I ended up getting stuck on I
- 5:20Speaker 2: twenty five traffic.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Jare I was fighting for my life, is what she wrote.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Poor Peyton.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Oh oh god, yeah, those things sound like they take
- 5:35Speaker 2: effects pretty.
- 5:36Speaker 1: Darn fast, almost instantly.
- 5:38Speaker 4: And I think, again, I'm just so grateful for that
- 5:42Speaker 4: information now, because really.
- 5:44Speaker 3: You know, I like to provide public service.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Good on.
- 5:47Speaker 2: I got one more funny story for you guys. It
- 5:49Speaker 2: has to do with our buddy Big Rob, who comes
- 5:51Speaker 2: on after us each and every day, good guy.
- 5:55Speaker 3: We love Big Rob.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:57Speaker 2: So we've teamed up with Elitch Guards. We're doing a
- 5:59Speaker 2: lot with elich Is this summer. And one of the
- 6:02Speaker 2: things they're doing for us, which is very cool, is
- 6:04Speaker 2: they're like essentially decorating the entire theme park with Mix
- 6:09Speaker 2: one hundred banners and slogans, and there's giant pictures of
- 6:13Speaker 2: all of us up at Irish Gardens, which is pretty
- 6:16Speaker 2: neat for us. I'm kind of cool, you know, nice.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Little local place.
- 6:20Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, love it.
- 6:22Speaker 2: So he sent me a picture yesterday because he stopped
- 6:24Speaker 2: by to check out some of the banners and stuff
- 6:26Speaker 2: that they put up, and by some of the swimming
- 6:29Speaker 2: areas out there, they've got like these giant like sheds
- 6:32Speaker 2: looking things, and there's like three or four of them
- 6:35Speaker 2: sitting there, and one of them is a big banner
- 6:38Speaker 2: of Nina that says, listen to Nina afternoons, Mix one hundred.
- 6:42Speaker 2: It's really nice boom front and center, and then there's
- 6:44Speaker 2: us next to Nina.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Okay, JKJ in the morning, have some morning laughs.
- 6:50Speaker 2: And then next to us is a banner of Big
- 6:53Speaker 2: Rob and a giant bush in front of the shed
- 6:59Speaker 2: in front of his banker.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Oh no. And he sent me.
- 7:04Speaker 3: A picture yesterday and I saw it and I was like,
- 7:06Speaker 3: oh my god.
- 7:07Speaker 2: I started laughing. I had tears in my eyes because
- 7:10Speaker 2: it's like Nina jk J Big Rob behind a bush.
- 7:15Speaker 4: It's like the monster's ink.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Mike.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I was thinking of Wilson from the old school TV shows,
- 7:26Speaker 2: like you see It's like, oh, you don't see Big
- 7:28Speaker 2: Robin all. So I told him, I was like, do
- 7:31Speaker 2: you think you could sneak some like bush trimmers in there?
- 7:33Speaker 3: I knows the bush.
- 7:35Speaker 1: We need some product place.
- 7:37Speaker 3: You gotta trim the bush. You can see, yeah,
