- 0:16purpose. Each episode is created to inspire your
- 0:21spirit and strengthen your daily walk with God.
- 0:27And now, here is your host. Pastor David. Welcome
- 0:35to the Voices of Life podcast, a ministry of
- 0:38the Church for Life. I'm Pastor David, and today
- 0:41we continue our journey into the Ministry of
- 0:43Presence Part 2. The quiet, steady, faithful
- 0:48nearness of God in the ordinary days of our lives.
- 0:55We'll start off with God's presence in work and
- 0:59calling. The sacredness of ordinary labor. So
- 1:07we're going to be shifting from what we finished
- 1:09up with last week with relationships to the realm
- 1:13of work. The daily responsibilities, tasks, callings
- 1:19that fill our lives. Many people imagine God's
- 1:24presence as something reserved for church services,
- 1:27prayer moments, or spiritual experiences, but
- 1:31scripture paints a different picture. God meets
- 1:37us in the ordinary. God walks with us in our
- 1:42work. God is present the daily labor of our hands.
- 1:47Work is not a punishment. Work is not a curse.
- 1:52Work is a calling. In Genesis 2 verse 15, And
- 2:02the Lord God took the man and put him into the
- 2:07Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. Before
- 2:13sin entered the world, work existed. Before brokenness,
- 2:17work existed. Before the fall, work existed.
- 2:22Work is holy. Work is sacred. Work is part of
- 2:27God's design. Most of life is ordinary. Most
- 2:34of life is routine. And most of life is made
- 2:39up with small, repeated tasks. And yet, God is
- 2:44present in all of it. Colossians 3, verse 23
- 2:51says, Whatever you do, work at it with... all
- 3:00your heart as working for the Lord. Whatever
- 3:06you do, not only the spiritual things, not only
- 3:12the visible things, not the impressive things,
- 3:15whatever you do, God is there. God is present
- 3:20and God is involved. The ministry of presence
- 3:23extends into the mundane, into the routine, into
- 3:26the unnoticed. Worship is not limited to singing.
- 3:33Worship is not limited to Sundays. Worship is
- 3:38not limited to sacred spaces. Worship is the
- 3:42posture of the heart. It is the offering of our
- 3:47lives. And worship is the way we work. Romans
- 3:5312 verse 1 says, present your bodies a living
- 3:58sacrifice which is your reasonable service service
- 4:03is worship diligence is worship excellence is
- 4:08worship integrity is worship when we work with
- 4:13a heart turned toward god our work becomes worship
- 4:19you know many people search for some kind of
- 4:26grand calling, a dramatic assignment, a visible
- 4:30mission, a moment of destiny. We look throughout
- 4:34history, we see a lot of our great leaders that
- 4:37seemed to want to, had a desire to have that,
- 4:42and then the others who were quiet and just achieved
- 4:46it. But scripture teaches us that calling is
- 4:51often found in everyday faithfulness. Luke 16
- 4:57verse 10 says, He that is faithful in that which
- 5:02is the least is faithful also in much. Faithfulness
- 5:07in the small things prepares us for the larger
- 5:11things. Faithfulness in the unseen things prepares
- 5:15us for the visible things. Faithfulness in the
- 5:18ordinary prepares us for the extraordinary. God
- 5:24does not measure calling by size. God measures
- 5:27calling by obedience. Responsibility is not a
- 5:32burden. It is a place where God forms us. Responsibility
- 5:38teaches us discipline. It teaches humility and
- 5:42perseverance. Whether you are raising children,
- 5:46leading a team, caring for aging parents, serving
- 5:52in ministry, or simply showing up to work each
- 5:56day. God is present in your responsibility. Psalm
- 6:0290 verse 17 says, Establish thou the work of
- 6:09our hands upon us. God establishes, God strengthens,
- 6:15God sustains. You are not carrying your responsibilities
- 6:20alone. God is with you in every task. I once
- 6:30spoke to a man who told me that he felt God most
- 6:33clearly, not during a church service, but during
- 6:37a moment at work. He was repairing a piece of
- 6:41equipment, and it wasn't going very well. He
- 6:45was frustrated, tired. about ready to give up.
- 6:49And in that moment, he sensed the Lord whisper,
- 6:54I am with you. Not in sanctuary, not in a prayer
- 7:01meeting, in a workshop, with tools in his hands.
- 7:08He said, Pastor, I realized that God doesn't
- 7:12wait for me to get to church to meet me. He meets
- 7:17me where I work. This is the ministry of presence.
- 7:22God in the ordinary, God in the routine, God
- 7:25in the labor of our hands. Work shapes us. Work
- 7:33stretches our abilities. Work matures us, makes
- 7:39us proficient. Through work, God teaches patience.
- 7:45Through work, God teaches perseverance, and he
- 7:48teaches humility, and most importantly, through
- 7:51work, God teaches stewardship. Proverbs 22 verse
- 7:5629 says, Seest thou a man diligent in his business,
- 8:03he shall stand before kings. Diligence is not
- 8:08only a skill, it is a spiritual discipline. Diligence
- 8:13is a reflection of God's character. Calling is
- 8:20not only about what we do, it is about who we
- 8:23become. Calling is not only about assignment,
- 8:27it is about alignment. Calling is not about purpose,
- 8:33it is about presence. In Ephesians 2 verse 10,
- 8:42It says, we are God's workmanship, created in
- 8:47Jesus Christ to do good works, which God prepared
- 8:52in advance for us to do. Your calling isn't random.
- 8:57It's not accidental or insignificant. God had
- 9:00prepared it. He had shaped it. God walks with
- 9:04you in it. Take a moment now and bring your work.
- 9:12before the Lord. Your responsibilities, your
- 9:16tasks, your assignments, your calling. Ask them,
- 9:23Lord, where are you present in my work? Where
- 9:31are you forming me? Where are you strengthening
- 9:34me? Where are you calling me to be faithful?
- 9:41Then let him speak. Let him guide. Let him remind
- 9:45you that your work matters to him. As we go into
- 9:55our next segment, we'll explore how God's presence
- 9:59in our work becomes a place of purpose. How he
- 10:04uses our gifts, our passions, and our daily labor
- 10:07to impact others. and advance his kingdom. But
- 10:13for now, rest in this truth. God is with you
- 10:18in your work. God is with you in your calling.
- 10:23God is with you in every ordinary moment of your
- 10:28day. God's presence in work and calling, purpose,
- 10:42gifting, and the kingdom impact. So, let's move
- 10:51from the sacredness of ordinary work into a deeper
- 10:54reality of calling. The unique way God has shaped
- 10:58each of us to reflect His heart, serve His people.
- 11:06and impact the world. Calling is not only about
- 11:11what we do. Calling is about who we are becoming.
- 11:17Calling is about how God's presence flows through
- 11:21our lives into the lives of others. In so many
- 11:27things we talk about that. It's not just about
- 11:29us. It's about everyone. We're our community.
- 11:33How do we help? How do we mentor? How do we bring
- 11:35someone else along? How do we impact their lives?
- 11:39So every assignment, every responsibility, every
- 11:43gift, every opportunity, all of it is woven into
- 11:48the story God is writing through us. You know,
- 11:55calling begins with God's design. You were created
- 12:02with intention. You were created with purpose.
- 12:07You were created with divine craftsmanship. Ephesians
- 12:142 verse 10 says, We are God's workmanship, created
- 12:21in Christ Jesus to do good works. Workmanship.
- 12:31craftsmanship, masterpiece. You are not random.
- 12:36You are not accidental. And you're definitely
- 12:38not generic. We are all unique. God's designed
- 12:43for you. And he designed for you gifts, passions,
- 12:50strengths, experiences that uniquely equip you
- 12:53for the calling he prepared you for. And in those
- 13:00gifts, there's God's presence. Your gifts are
- 13:04not merely talents. Your gifts are not merely
- 13:06skills. Your gifts are the expressions of God's
- 13:12presence in your life. Peter 4 verse 10 says,
- 13:19As every man hath received the gift, even so
- 13:24minister the same to one another. Gifts are not
- 13:31for self -promotion. Gifts are for service. Gifts
- 13:38are for ministry. Gifts are for others. When
- 13:43you use your gifts you reveal God's heart. When
- 13:47you use your gifts you carry God's presence.
- 13:51When you use your gifts you participate in God's
- 13:56work. Use your gifts as they're intended for
- 14:03everyone, not just for you. Yes, you may end
- 14:07up being recognized individually, and that's
- 14:10wonderful. But you did so because you shared
- 14:15with others. You know, a calling is sometimes
- 14:21revealed in small beginnings. Many people throughout
- 14:28their lives, they wait for this dramatic moment
- 14:30of calling. They want to see a burning bush,
- 14:34a supernatural sign, a life -changing encounter.
- 14:38But scripture shows us that calling often begins
- 14:42quietly, humbly, and ordinarily. David was tending
- 14:50sheep. Tending sheep. Moses was tending flocks
- 14:56Gideon was threshing wheat Peter was mending
- 15:04nets Matthew was sitting at a tax booth God calls
- 15:11people in the middle of their everyday lives
- 15:16God calls people while they are working He always
- 15:22calls people while they're doing ordinary things.
- 15:27Zechariah 4 verse 10 says, For who hath despised
- 15:33the day of small things? Small things are sacred
- 15:37beginnings. The presence of God in purpose means
- 15:46purpose is not something we invent. Purpose is
- 15:50something we discover. Purpose is something God
- 15:54reveals to us. In Proverbs 19, verse 21, it says,
- 16:03There are many devices in man's heart. Nevertheless,
- 16:09counsel of the Lord that shall stand. Purpose
- 16:15is not about ambition. Purpose is about alignment.
- 16:20Purpose is about walking in step with the one
- 16:24who created you. When you walk in purpose, you
- 16:29walk in presence. And when you walk in presence,
- 16:33you walk in peace. Work has a place in our kingdom,
- 16:43in God's kingdom. And it has an impact. Your
- 16:48work is not separate from the kingdom of God.
- 16:51Your work is part of the kingdom of God. Whether
- 16:54you are leading a company, teaching children,
- 16:58serving customers, repairing equipment, caring
- 17:03for family, or building something with your hands,
- 17:07your work carries kingdom impact. Matthew 5 verse
- 17:1616 says, Let your light so shine before men that
- 17:23they may see your good works and glorify your
- 17:27Father. Good works reveal God. Good works point
- 17:35to God. Good works glorify God. Your work is
- 17:42a witness. Your work is a ministry, and your
- 17:47work is a light. The presence of God in difficult
- 17:55work. Sometimes we think that work is so hard,
- 17:59God is not helping us. So we have to understand
- 18:04that not all work is easy. Not all assignments
- 18:07are enjoyable. Not all seasons of calling feel
- 18:13fulfilling. But even in difficult work, God is
- 18:19present. Even in frustrating work, God is present.
- 18:24Even in exhausting work, God is present. Psalm
- 18:3137 verses 23 to 24 says, The steps of a good
- 18:38man are ordered by the Lord. God orders your
- 18:57steps. God strengthens your hands. God upholds
- 19:01your spirit. You are not alone in your labor.
- 19:07You are not alone in your calling. You are not
- 19:11alone. in your purpose. I once spoke to a woman
- 19:22not too long ago who worked in a small office
- 19:25doing tasks that seemed insignificant to her.
- 19:31She told me she didn't feel like her work really
- 19:35matters. Same thing day in and day out. Nothing
- 19:40new, nothing changes. But then she shared how
- 19:45her co -workers often came to her for encouragement,
- 19:49for prayer, and for wisdom. She said, I realized
- 19:55that my desk is my ministry. My office is my
- 20:01mission field. Her calling was not defined by
- 20:07her job description or her duties. Her calling
- 20:12was defined by her presence. This is the ministry
- 20:17of presence. God using ordinary people in ordinary
- 20:20places to reveal extraordinary grace. Sometimes
- 20:27it's just the placement of where you are in a
- 20:30particular time, a particular place, or a regular
- 20:33place, is what makes that Ministry of presence
- 20:40is so important because you become a resource
- 20:44for others. Always look at life and your calling
- 20:52as a journey, not a destination. Calling is not
- 20:57a single moment. Calling is a lifelong journey.
- 21:03Calling unfolds over time. God leads us step
- 21:08by step, season by season, assignment by assignment.
- 21:16Psalm 32 verse 8 in a modern translation says,
- 21:21I will instruct you and teach you in the way
- 21:26you should go. I will counsel you with my loving
- 21:31eye on you. God's guidance. is not distance.
- 21:40God's guidance is personal. It's relational.
- 21:45Calling is not about reaching a destination.
- 21:48Calling is about walking with God. Take a moment
- 21:56now and bring your work, your gifts, your calling
- 22:02before the Lord and ask Him. Lord, how do you
- 22:07want me to use my life? How do you want me to
- 22:11use my gifts? How do you want me to use my work?
- 22:16Offer your hands to him. Offer your skills to
- 22:19him. Offer your purpose to him. Let him remind
- 22:22you that your calling is sacred. Your work is
- 22:27sacred because your life is sacred. Now let's
- 22:37think about and look at how God's presence meets
- 22:42us in suffering, in the valleys, in the waiting,
- 22:48in the losses, and in the places where hope feels
- 22:54fragile. But for now, rest in this truth. God
- 23:02is with you in your work. God is with you in
- 23:06your calling. God is with you in every purpose
- 23:09he has placed within you. We are now entering
- 23:21one of the most sacred and tender dimensions
- 23:24of the ministry of presence. God's nearness in
- 23:29suffering. And throughout history, There have
- 23:35been large amounts of people that suffer, individuals
- 23:37that have suffered, nations that have suffered.
- 23:42But God was always there. Suffering is universal.
- 23:49It's unavoidable. Suffering is part of the human
- 23:54story. But suffering is not the absence of God.
- 24:00Suffering is often where... His presence becomes
- 24:04most real. Psalm 34 verse 18 says, The Lord is
- 24:11nigh unto them that are of a broken heart. Not
- 24:17distant, not silent, nigh near. God draws close
- 24:26to the broken. God draws close to the weary.
- 24:29God draws close to the grieving. God draws close
- 24:34to the hurting. The ministry of presence is never
- 24:39more powerful than in the valley. The valley
- 24:45is not a sign of God's absence. Many believers
- 24:50assume that suffering means something has gone
- 24:54wrong spiritually. But scripture teaches the
- 24:58opposite. Suffering is not a sign of God's absence.
- 25:03It is often a place of his deepest work. Psalm
- 25:0823, verse 4 says, With me. Not watching from
- 25:24a distance, not waiting on the other side. With
- 25:28me. God does not abandon us in the valley. God
- 25:34accompanies us through the valley. There is a
- 25:40presence of God in pain. There are all sorts
- 25:45of pain. Pain from physical, emotional losses.
- 25:52But pain has a way of stripping away illusions.
- 25:56Pain reveals what truly matters. Pain exposes
- 26:01our need for God. And in that vulnerability,
- 26:05God meets us with compassion. Psalm 147 verse
- 26:133 says, He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth
- 26:20up their wounds. God does not shame the wounded.
- 26:27God binds the wounded. He heals the wounded.
- 26:30His presence is not harsh. His presence is gentle.
- 26:35And his presence is healing. There seems to be
- 26:45a mystery of suffering in God's nearness. Is
- 26:53there a mystery in suffering? A depth of God's
- 26:59presence that cannot be experienced any other
- 27:01way? Well, it's certainly not because God withholds
- 27:07himself, but because suffering opens a part of
- 27:12the heart that comfort never touches. Corinthians
- 27:191 verses 3 to 4 in modern translation says, He
- 27:25comforts us, in all our troubles so that we can
- 27:31comfort others. Comfort is not theoretical. Comfort
- 27:36is experiential. Comfort is relational. God comforts
- 27:45us so that we can become carriers of his presence
- 27:50to others. Some of our suffering is very sharp.
- 27:59It touches us deeply and others is soft. I was
- 28:04sadly told today of the death of a good friend
- 28:09who I'd known for almost 20 years. And while
- 28:17I know her life was magnificent because she shared
- 28:22so much with others, she touched so many. people
- 28:25with her positive, helpful, mentoring ways. She
- 28:32gave of herself to so many. And now as she is
- 28:38gone, I live knowing that she made a difference.
- 28:47Her life made an impact in God's kingdom. And
- 28:54I know God blesses her. And now that she's with
- 28:58him, she'll remain, in a sense, immortal because
- 29:05her spirit is with God. So, let's look at some
- 29:19of the suffering that is not sharp. The slow
- 29:23suffering. It is a suffering of waiting. Waiting
- 29:30for answers. Waiting for healing. Waiting for
- 29:35clarity. Or waiting for a breakthrough. Waiting
- 29:40is one of the hardest forms of suffering because
- 29:42it feels like nothing is happening. And we seem
- 29:47to be in a hurry. We seem to be impatient about
- 29:51it. But waiting, and in the waiting, God is working.
- 29:58In waiting, God is shaping. In waiting, God is
- 30:02strengthening. Isaiah 40 verse 31 says, They
- 30:09that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
- 30:14Waiting is not wasted. Waiting is where strength
- 30:18is reborn. And I was mentioning just a moment
- 30:25ago about loss. You know, the presence of God
- 30:29in loss. Loss is one of the deepest pains a human
- 30:32being can experience. Loss of a loved one, loss
- 30:36of a dream, loss of stability, and loss of identity.
- 30:44And yet, Scripture reveals a God who enters our
- 30:48grief. A God who weeps with us. A God who carries
- 30:52us. John 11, verse 35 says, Jesus wept. That
- 31:03is the shortest verse in the Bible. Jesus wept.
- 31:07Two words. And one of the most profound. Jesus
- 31:13did not rush past grief. Jesus entered grief.
- 31:19Jesus sanctified grief with his tears. In loss,
- 31:25God is not silent. In loss, God is not distant.
- 31:31In loss, God is present. A woman I know who had
- 31:42walked through a season of deep loss. Her experiences
- 31:48were pretty profound. And when these losses were
- 31:56felt and expected, she felt that God did feel
- 32:04that she was with him or he was with her. She
- 32:15didn't feel God. She just felt numb. She said
- 32:20she felt empty. But as the days went on, she
- 32:26began to sense him. Not loudly, not dramatically,
- 32:31but quietly and gently and faithfully. She says
- 32:37it was like he said with me in the dark until
- 32:41I could see again. This is the ministry of presence.
- 32:47God sitting with us in the dark. God holding
- 32:51us in the valley. God staying with us until the
- 32:56light returns. The presence of God in something
- 33:03that we all share, we all hope for. Hope. Hope
- 33:10for. Hope. We do hope for a lot of things. Suffering
- 33:21is not the end of the story. Pain is not the
- 33:24final chapter. Loss is not the conclusion. God's
- 33:29presence is the suffering always leads to hope.
- 33:38Not shallow hope, not forced hope, not artificial
- 33:41hope. Real hope. Resurrection hope. Eternal hope.
- 33:51Romans 15 verse 13 says, Now the God of hope
- 33:55fill you with all the joy and peace in believing.
- 34:01God is not only God of comfort. God is the God
- 34:06of hope. And it's okay to hope. It's okay to
- 34:12dream and wish. But hope is a little more than
- 34:17wishing, isn't it? There has to be a little bit
- 34:19of faith that goes along with that. So take a
- 34:26moment now and bring your suffering before the
- 34:29Lord. Your pain, your questions, your fears,
- 34:33your losses. You do not need to hide them. You
- 34:39do not need to minimize them. You do not need
- 34:43to pretend. Just ask him, Lord, where are you
- 34:50with me in this valley? Let him show you his
- 34:55nearness. Let him show you his compassion and
- 35:00his presence. You are not alone. You have never
- 35:06been alone. You will never be alone. As we look
- 35:17at the last segment of this episode of Part 2
- 35:21of the Ministry of Presence, we'll explore God's
- 35:27presence in suffering leads into hope. How he
- 35:30restores, rebuilds, and resurrects what was lost.
- 35:39We will close with a pastoral prayer of blessing,
- 35:43comfort, and strength. But for now, Rest in his
- 35:46truth. God is with you in the valley. God is
- 35:51with you in the waiting. God is with you in the
- 35:53loss. God is with you in the pain. So when we
- 36:05think about God's presence and suffering, the
- 36:08restoration, the resurrection, and the hope that
- 36:12does not fade. is what we need to focus on. As
- 36:21we go through the journey, we turn our hearts
- 36:23forward and know that hope anchors us. The hope
- 36:31that suffering cannot steal, the hope that darkness
- 36:36cannot extinguish, the hope that loss cannot
- 36:38erase. That's why I said earlier, it has to be
- 36:43backed by faith. God's presence in suffering
- 36:47is not only comfort. God's presence in suffering
- 36:50is restoration and resurrection. The valley is
- 36:54not the end of the story. The cross is not the
- 36:58end of the story. The grave is not the end of
- 37:00the story. God is a God who brings life out of
- 37:05death. Beauty out of ashes and hope out of despair.
- 37:12Restoration is not returning things to the way
- 37:15they were. Restoration is God creating something
- 37:18deeper, stronger, and more beautiful than before.
- 37:23In Joel 2 verse 25 says, I will restore you to
- 37:30the years that the locusts have eaten. Years,
- 37:35not moments, years. God restores. What was lost?
- 37:42God restores what was broken. God restores what
- 37:47was stolen. Restoration is not a theory. Restoration
- 37:51is a promise. In some seasons of suffering, they
- 38:00leave us feeling like our lives have been dismantled,
- 38:05piece by piece, layer by layer. But remember,
- 38:10God is a builder. He is a rebuilder. He is a
- 38:14restorer of foundations. Isaiah 61, verse 4 says,
- 38:21They shall build the old wastes. They shall raise
- 38:26up the former desolutions. And the desolations
- 38:32that devastated us. Maybe even we thought we
- 38:42were ruined. But God rebuilds what was ruined.
- 38:46God raises what has fallen. God strengthens what
- 38:50has weakened. Your story is not over. Your foundation
- 38:56is not gone. Your future is not lost. The ultimate
- 39:02expression of God's presence in suffering is
- 39:04resurrection. Not symbolic resurrection. Not
- 39:11poetic resurrection. Real resurrection. John
- 39:1711 verse 25 says, I am the resurrection and the
- 39:21life. Resurrection is not an event. Resurrection
- 39:29is a person. Resurrection is Jesus. Where Jesus
- 39:34is present, death does not have the final word.
- 39:38Where Jesus is present, despair does not have
- 39:43the final word. Where Jesus is present, suffering
- 39:46does not have the final word. Hope lives because
- 39:51he lives. Human hope is fragile. Human hope is
- 39:59sometimes uncertain. and can be easily shaken.
- 40:03But the hope God gives us is different. It is
- 40:07steady, it is anchored, it is eternal. Romans
- 40:145 verse 5 says, Hope does not disappoint us,
- 40:18because God's love has been poured into our hearts.
- 40:25Hope rooted in unshakable, God's love. Hope rooted
- 40:33in immovable God's love. And because of that,
- 40:39hope rooted in God is eternal. I have one last
- 40:50story to tell of a man who walked through a season
- 40:54of deep grief. He told me, Pastor, I... I didn't
- 41:00think I would ever feel joy again. But slowly,
- 41:05gently, and quietly, God began to restore him.
- 41:12It wasn't all at once. It wasn't dramatic. But
- 41:15it was faithfully. He told me that hope didn't
- 41:21return like a flood. It returned like a sunrise.
- 41:24Slowly, steady, until one day... he realized
- 41:29the light was back. This is the ministry of presence.
- 41:36God sitting with us in the night, God walking
- 41:39with us in the dawn, God restoring us in his
- 41:43time. One of the most comforting truths in all
- 41:53of our scripture is this. God stays. God does
- 42:01not leave when life gets hard. God does not withdraw
- 42:05when we are weak. God does not abandon us when
- 42:09we are broken. Hebrews 13 verse 5 says, I will
- 42:15never leave thee nor forsake thee. Never. Not
- 42:23sometimes, not occasionally, never. God stays
- 42:26in the valley. God stays in the storm. God stays
- 42:29in the fire. God stays through the night. And
- 42:34God stays until restoration comes. Take a slow
- 42:41breath. Let your heart open. Let your spirit
- 42:46soften. Ask the Lord, Father, where are you restoring
- 42:53me? Where are you rebuilding me? Where are you
- 43:00resurrecting hope in me? And let him speak. Let
- 43:05him comfort. Let him strengthen. Hope is not
- 43:10something you manufacture. Hope is something
- 43:14God gives. Let us pray. Father, I pray for every
- 43:24person listening right now. For the weary, bring
- 43:31rest. For the broken, bring healing. For the
- 43:37grieving, bring comfort. For the waiting, bring
- 43:42strength. For the discouraged, bring hope. Let
- 43:47your presence fill every room, every heart, every
- 43:50mind. let your peace settle like a gentle blanket
- 43:54let your love surround like a warm embrace restore
- 44:00what was lost rebuild what was broken resurrect
- 44:04what has died be near to the hurting be close
- 44:09to the lonely be faithful to the waiting and
- 44:15let your hope rise steady strong and unshakable.
- 44:23In Jesus' name, Amen. As we close this journey
- 44:33in Ministry of Presence, remember this truth.
- 44:37The Ministry of Presence is not a concept. It
- 44:40is reality. It is a promise, a gift. It's God's
- 44:48gift. God is present. in the quiet. God is present
- 44:53in relationships. God is present in work and
- 44:57calling. God is present in suffering and hope.
