A brand-new spot, Los Mandiles FC, is set to open Friday, July 3rd, in the former Norsemen Lakeheim Brewing space—reviving Carlos Allende’s beloved but shuttered concept after a pandemic-fueled setback. After closing in 2023, Allende’s vision is back, fueled by online buzz and his own nerves turning to excitement. The restaurant will serve up tacos and tequila from 10 AM most days (closed Mondays), and the first customer gets a year of free meals—one machete meal weekly for 52 weeks.
