- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: hashtag no music no intro we are back these saints block party podcasts coming at you brought to you and presented by precious works LLC for your business website and he's reach out to our guy Bajan he will hook you up and y'all it is that time again the
- 0:17[SPEAKER_01]: annual Grecocel episode where we have Grecocel from NFL films in a film matchup coming on and breaking down to 2026 Saints draft class Adam joined by my co-host Wolf aka Ryan and first and foremost Greco thank you for joining and hopping on and doing this every year.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think we we're probably like year four year five I've lost count of how long we've done this but
- 0:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's a it's a pleasure every time we're able to have you on and I'll just I'll get right into it last draft cycle you came kind of came out and I don't want to say like planet your flag for Tyler shook but just talk about how you'd like them as a quarterback prospect.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: Not because on and has an impressive second half of the season after he you know got starting time with the team but just my football sickle question from the jump is all the moves that the team has done this offseason starting.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: with free agency adding Travis HN, adding David Edwards to the offensive line, adding Noah Fent and then the draft was very often heavy, Jordan Tyson and around one, Oscar Dup and around three, then around four, they added Bryce Lance and Jeremiah Wright, the the right guard.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: Formationally, now that Kellen has added a lot of pieces to the offense that he didn't have in his first season.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_01]: How do you envision him attacking defenses?
- 1:41[SPEAKER_01]: It's grammatically with all these now pieces that are now in the offense.
- 1:46[SPEAKER_02]: Well, first I will say this.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we'll put Tyson aside for the moment.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, he was the top 10 pick, but I really liked Oscar Delph, I'll want.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_02]: And thought that he would be a better pro than his production in college.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_02]: And I thought Bryce Lans was a really intriguing player coming out of obviously a smaller school.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_02]: But I think what Kellen Moore is known for in the league and what he does is he's pretty multiple.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think, you know, I remember talking to coaches actually when he came to Philly and I remember talking to coaches and saying, hey, can you tell me how you see Kellen Moore and his offense and they said that he's very multiple, that he's not really wedded to one thing.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_02]: So I think now with the players they have because they can certainly line up in 11 personnel with three wide receivers, they can certainly line up in 12 personnel with two tight ends and they can line up in 13 personnel with three tight ends because
- 2:40[SPEAKER_02]: you know, which is something that is becoming more and more prevalent in the league right now.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_02]: So I think you're looking at an offense that has a lot of multiplicity to it.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_02]: I think Edwards was a really good signing to play left guard, a really solid player, assuming health on the old line.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_02]: It's a solid, solid old line.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, I mean, I think, again, you know, it's, it's, it's,
- 3:00[SPEAKER_02]: It's early May, you know, and these conversations are wonderful to have, and everybody has them, but, you know, I think when you just look at it right now, you kind of feel like with the continued growth of shock, which I would expect to happen.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he's going to take a step back.
- 3:14[SPEAKER_02]: I think he'll continue to grow.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_02]: He's a very mature young man, and clearly played well the last part of the season.
- 3:22[SPEAKER_02]: So I think this offense has an opportunity to be pretty,
- 3:25[SPEAKER_02]: Pretty multiple and pretty strong.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_02]: You got two good backs.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_02]: Kamara is nearly, you know, is clearly closer to the end than the beginning.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: He's not a guy.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_02]: You're probably going to give the ball to 250 times, but now they have HN.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, I think it's, I think there's a lot there to work with.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_02]: I think, you know, and I think, killing more, he's considered to be one of the better offensive minds in the league.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_02]: So I think, you know, this will be a good deal.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's so fascinating because, you know, me and them on our practice, we've been pushing for the Saints to like just add some juice to the offense for a long time, longer than just a year, like for years now and like they finally took that approach.
- 4:03[SPEAKER_00]: So what was your evaluation of of Jordan Tyson coming out because.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he was somebody built me in that and we studied very closely and we liked the live but we did where some of the guys We preferred a little more than him, but when you do watch them like they're obviously some traits that are impressive
- 4:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I mean, I'd like Tyson, you know, look, the way I felt about this wide receiver draft class as a whole was I didn't think that it was a phenomenal class in terms of, you know, one or two guys being special.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_02]: Like there was not even more chasin this class.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_02]: I've already actually seen guys who are likely to be in next year's class and there's no Jeremiah Smith or Cam Coleman that was in this particular class.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, Tyson to me
- 4:46[SPEAKER_02]: This is what he's really good at.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: He was really calculatingly efficient in winning off the ball versus press.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_02]: He knew how to create space.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_02]: He knew how to separate.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_02]: He knew how to attack the leverage of corners with his vertical stem.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_02]: He had a great feel for breaking down corners technique.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I didn't see him as like a dominant, wow.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_02]: He's upbound reacts and man, this guy's just going to be special.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_02]: But I think that you could line him up and this is where the league is now.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_02]: You'll line him up in multiple spots.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_02]: You move him around, pre-snap movement.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_02]: That's become more and more a part of the league.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_02]: The one thing that didn't show up a lot on tape was he didn't have a big run after catch element to his gain.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_02]: But I think just in terms of being an efficient receiver and really good size.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, six, two and a eighth is a trait.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but I think he's just an efficient player that assuming health and obviously that is a concern based on his previous couple of years assuming health.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_02]: I think that he can be a solid NFL wide receiver.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, it's going to be one of the things I'm interested to see how it unfolds in the season is how the addition of Jordan Tyson and with Chris O'Lave, you know, kind of blossoming and and yeah, like they're their connection on the field and how they interplay and how killing more uses them on the field is going to be very interesting.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I have the things fan that's one of the biggest exciting things going into the season, but I just wanted the circle back to your point on Oscar doubt because.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: He was a prospect that I feel like if people really watched the All 22 of Georgia film, like his ability to block is very evident, but for his athleticism and how he tests at the combine, it feels like there's so much more to him that wasn't utilized at Georgia.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I just wanted to get your impression on him because I know you talked about him kind of at the beginning of, you know, you liked him how to play or what potentially he could bring to the
- 6:40[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's funny, as you guys probably know, if people listen to me, they know that all I do is, I talk about how I evaluate the players.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't, I don't talk about where they're drafted or could they have gotten them early later.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_02]: You know, that's irrelevant to me.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_02]: I just love evaluating the players.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that Delap has all the traits demanded to be a starting quality tight end, and he certainly didn't have big receiving production, and I'm not comparing him to George Kittle, they're different players, but people may remember that
- 7:07[SPEAKER_02]: kiddo in his final two years at Iowa had something like 20 and 22 receptions.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_02]: So, you know, you can't just look at his production and say, well, that's not good, you know, he's not going to be a good pro.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_02]: That's somewhat irrelevant.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_02]: You know, he's got multi-dimensional traits.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_02]: To be honest with you, there were times watching his tape that I thought of Dallas Goddard when he came out of South Dakota State.
- 7:27[SPEAKER_02]: And believe me, if he turns out to be Dallas Goddard, I think people in New Orleans would probably be very happy.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_02]: But that's who he.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_02]: That's who I thought of when I watched his tape and reminded me of God are coming out of South Dakota State and God are was a second round pick obviously yet quote unquote better college production.
- 7:44[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I'll be at a smaller level of competition.
- 7:47[SPEAKER_02]: But I really liked Oscar Delva a lot for what he could do and by the way,
- 7:51[SPEAKER_02]: You know, we were talking about the fact that they could, you know, line up in multiple personnel packages.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you know, you talked about, um, Adam, you just spoke about Alave and Tyson.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_02]: Think about what they could do with Johnson, who was a wide receiver in college, as you know, and can line up anywhere in the formation.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_02]: Fan has wide receiver speed, so you can line him up anywhere in the formation.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_02]: And now you have delps.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_02]: So you could basically at times play with three tight ends and have 11 personnel concepts.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, and that's what makes it really difficult for defenses.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: That, yeah, that, that, that's what gets me excited because if you watch, I'm sure you didn't watch it plenty of saints feel less gear, but if you watch the Saints team,
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: Kelly Moore tried to dabble in some of the, you know, the 12 person there on the 13, but they just didn't have the guys.
- 8:38[SPEAKER_00]: They just didn't have the guys.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: They just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys, they just didn't have the guys,
- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: to really agree they tied in for him.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: So it's going to be fascinating because one thing, you know, that 12 person, no thing, yes, it helps to work in, but teams like to pass out of the two and I think that's why that's exciting.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_02]: That's where the league's going, you know, believe me, I'm not as smart as Mike McDonald's since the SC Hawks said coach and I heard him speak about playing with multiple personnel packages.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, he was basically saying one reason that Seattle could really defend it well is they didn't have to change their personnel and defense
- 9:25[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, you start lining up with 13 personnel like the Rams did, you look at math to the staffards numbers, throwing the ball at a 13 personnel and they were a lot of throws.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't just a sometimes thing.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_02]: The past game was a major element of 13 personnel and staffards numbers were just off the charts.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_02]: So again, we don't know exactly what Kelly Moore's going to do.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's me.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_02]: We don't know the answer to these questions.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm sure that that will be part of his arsenal, that there will be
- 9:53[SPEAKER_02]: 13% L packages and a pass game that works out of that.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_01]: And that's that's what I'm I think it's thanks fans.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_01]: You should definitely we should all be excited to see how it unfold.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I feel like we could spend this entire episode talking often.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_01]: And but I don't want to neglect the defense and the work that Brandon's daily did towards especially towards the fly fast half of the season where the Saints statistically had like a top 10 defense.
- 10:17[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think I can speak for myself and Ryan, like one of the underrated stories of last season for the Saints is how well the defense played over all, especially considering kind of like the talent that they had.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_01]: They lost a lot of Taylor free agency and the draft they added Christian Miller defense at Taco.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_01]: from Georgia after that, they signed Anthony Jennings from the Patriots, and it seems like there's this very huge effort of improving the run defense overall as a whole, but how could you like maybe see the like the evolution of Brandon Staley's defense in year two and what he wants to do to kind of stay me offences.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yo, what are you looking at?
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: Man, I'm checking out this website, this site, it's Cheeksboro.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: In the 21st century, how do you have a crappy website?
- 11:07[SPEAKER_00]: Couldn't be me?

- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: Make sure to tell him that he's going to have 40 cents.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well, I mean, Stanley is he's an interesting guy because I think that he has some foundational principles, but obviously, you know, guys have to adjust and change, you know, it's hard just to, you know, say, hey, this is what we're going to do and that's it.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_02]: I tell you, before we get to that, I think one player that's a really good player that they signed and is, and you didn't mention him, but I think Kate Nellos is a really good player.
- 12:51[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I saw him a lot in Atlanta, and he's, you know, look, obviously they lost Amario Davis who appears he's going to play till he's 50 and be really good, but and obviously he was just a great leader, he's just a great human being, but if a kid now is, is a really good player.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_02]: You know, which also tells me that they don't think someone like Stuttman is really ready to step right in and play, because I'm sure Elos and Warner will be the stars, you know, but, you know, and they've got a
- 13:20[SPEAKER_02]: You know, last year, you know, I thought Sanker and Quincy Ryle when he got a chance played really well and and the chemistry is only going into his third year, you know, this is a young group with two really good veterans to keep it together and read and black men so, you know, I.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think this is a really interesting group and I think it gives Stanley a lot to work with.
- 13:41[SPEAKER_02]: He's a big believer in sort of that gap in a half principle with your defensive alignment, which I think Brian Brie sees really good at and he's a really good player.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_02]: And by the way, I really like Christian Miller's tape a lot, you know.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_02]: there were some detackles in this draft that were really dominant runstuffers, but that couldn't rush the quarterback.
- 14:00[SPEAKER_02]: I think Miller was one of the few detackles that gives you a chance to that that has both traits.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_02]: And again, you never know with a rookie if he can come in and do it right away.
- 14:10[SPEAKER_02]: You just don't know the answer to that.
- 14:12[SPEAKER_02]: But I think that he can do that.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_02]: He's not just a one-dimensional guy.
- 14:15[SPEAKER_02]: I think he can be a
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a try to watch some Christian Miller.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: You know, for me, watching defensive tackles on all 22 can be kind of a struggle, because it's not a flashy position, you know, like it's a lot of just a lot of work, a lot of dirty work.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_00]: But he was when I put on, I was like, oh, this is good.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like you could see.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: You can immediately see like, okay, he's a strong, powerful, like stout guy, you know, and he, you know, he holds, pushes guys back, you know, that's what I try to look for.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_02]: The line that must have been a lot of spots to it, George.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_02]: It wasn't your, you know, one place.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_02]: So I mean, because he's got that kind of athletic movement.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_02]: But we'll see again, you know, like I said, rookies, you never know how much they're going to play.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_02]: You know, obviously, there's things they have to learn.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_02]: It's not just, hey, line up and beat the beat up the guy in front of you.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot involved.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so, you know, we'll see what happens, but, uh, but I thought he was a really good prospect based on my type of evaluation and, uh, and we'll see I would all play this out, but, uh, like I said, the key now is was the guy to me when I saw that they signed him.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_02]: I thought, oh, that guy's a really good football player.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: No, no question, no.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, I was just about to mention this kid and others like one thing about him that I really just enjoy watching is how he's on the ball so much third down like I watched on the third house and he is like right there in the line he's either rushing to pass early you know fooling like he's going to rush to pass it at the same space though because he played for the Saints.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: for a while.
- 15:48[SPEAKER_00]: We only really one year before you got shipped out, um, well, he gives you ton of versatility too.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, that's the thing.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_02]: There's versatile players here.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's, you know, in an ideal world of all coaches like that, because then you do a lot of things.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_02]: And you can trust, see, you know, it's funny, coaches often use it, particularly on defense trust.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_02]: And Kate Nelson's a player, you can trust to do a lot of different things well.
- 16:11[SPEAKER_02]: You know, he can rush the quarterback.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, can Alana, because they were a heavy blitz team under Jeff Albrecht.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_02]: So as you guys know, it's same division.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_02]: They're a heavy blitz team.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_02]: So Kate Nellos, very often as you just mentioned, we'll find up on the ball a lot.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_02]: He was used as a pass rusher.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: You can certainly do that here.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you know, there's a lot of opportunities here to do multiple things on the defensive side of the ball.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: It is, it isn't it, you know, they're going to need, and I think they're counting on Kate Nell is to add additional pass for us, you know, Chase Young had his best season as, you know, and outstanding season.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Granderson, who kind of like it's, you know, up and down and just in terms of his consistency, and then we still don't know what the outcome if they're going to bring, you know, Cam Jordan back or not.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_01]: So I think they're banking on getting additional pass rush help from Kate Nell, especially like on on Thursday.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 17:01[SPEAKER_01]: The last one of the I had kind of just going back to the offense is
- 17:06[SPEAKER_01]: What is the next step in terms of the things that we should be wanting to see from Tyler's shock in your two for him to show continued growth and development?
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: Because it's a, you know, I feel like the team is tried to best to put a lot of options and weapons on the table for him to be successful.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: But what are the things that, you know, particularly we should be looking at for to see him take that, you know,
- 17:35[SPEAKER_02]: I would say that in terms of what you'd hope to see was a little more now of the development of an intermediate pesky.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_02]: I thought that last year, you know, again, and I always try to understand where a guy is in his development, where he is within the context of his system.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: I thought you saw him make some really good deep throws, and then I saw him.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_02]: thought you saw him, you know, very often just, you know, check it down so to speak or throw the ball really short.
- 18:03[SPEAKER_02]: And normally that's, that happens because a quarterback is not exactly comfortable with what he's seen, you know, because obviously you're going to make those intermediate throws particularly between the numbers.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_02]: There's a lot of bodies there.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_02]: More so than in college, because the hash marks are closer.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_02]: So there's more, it seems like there's just more bodies in the middle of the field.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_02]: So that's the next step to me.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_02]: Seeing that part of the
- 18:27[SPEAKER_02]: So you can have that dimension to your past game.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, it's going to be fascinating.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: It was impressive to see because a lot of, a lot of Saints fans were not in love with this Tyler Chuck Pit when it happened.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, after you watch, after you watch him a little bit, you're like, okay, I could see the vision.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: And then once he came in and he finally got some stars under his belt, it was kind of impressive to see some of the things he made.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you know, he rips it to, he rips the bowl.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_02]: No question.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_02]: I know, no, look, you guys know, I mean, because I spoke about it last year quite a bit, and of course, people thought I was crazy, but I thought that his college tape was the second best after Cam Ward.
- 19:06[SPEAKER_02]: And again, I never, you know, when I,
- 19:08[SPEAKER_02]: saw his college tape I have no idea of course where he's going to get drafted.
- 19:12[SPEAKER_02]: I'm doing all this before the draft.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_02]: But I thought that he was a really legitimate prospect.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_02]: And obviously, you know, I always love guys and I joke about this with people.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_02]: You know, I love when you watch the draft and a guy gets drafted and on TV they say, boy, that's a surprise.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_02]: And the first thing I think of to myself is, well, it's not a surprise to the team.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_02]: They just drafted him.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_02]: You know,
- 19:36[SPEAKER_02]: And they, and they have a lot more people doing this than the guys on TV, you know, so, but Tyler Chuck to me has a lot of talent.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_02]: He's big.
- 19:45[SPEAKER_02]: He's not immobile by any means.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_02]: He can throw on the run.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_02]: He certainly can get the ball down the field.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_02]: As I said, now you want to be able to work that intermediate levels and be really efficient with that.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_00]: This is one day as you just before you get out of here.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_00]: Druparies, you know, made the hall of fame.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to be a ducked in a couple of months.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'd be remiss if I just don't an issue as like a, you know, a football historian, a quarterback expert.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_00]: What comes to mind when you think of Druparies?
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like when you think of Druparies, what comes to mind when you think of him and his impact on the game and his quarterback play.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_02]: Just the highest level efficiency possible, just playing the position exactly the right way, I mean, that's true breeze.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, without going into the weeds, you know, we're not going to start breaking down.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but just just playing it exactly the way.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_02]: it in theoretically it's taught and it's coached and just doing it that way almost all the time.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_02]: I mean just don't forget he was six feet tall and he did not have a gun and certainly later in his career his arm got even a little lesser and he still played at a high level, you know and obviously I've read books and articles over the years about breeze and just his commitment to being the absolute best all the time and everything he did and that's what it takes.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, you just he was for me and again, some people might say I'm a dinosaur and I'm all, but I actually enjoy quarterback play with guys play like that.
- 21:11[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, yeah, we're all we all get excited watching, you know, Josh Allen or Lamar run around that's exciting, but to me, and maybe because I was taught the position by Bill Walsh to me when I watched someone like Drew Breeze, you know, play the position that way, that to me is is really exciting that that's really fulfilling to me because that's the way it's taught.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_02]: And that's, you know, and it's just he did it at the highest level possible for a long, long time too, and that's really hard to do.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_01]: And I think even like looking back, even like Ryan and I like realized in the moment how special it was, but like you don't, as a sports fan, you don't really realize what you now have until you low lower have it.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_01]: And so, so because there's been some some dark years of postures, but I will say that this upcoming season, I feel like there's the most optimism in a St. season, I have felt just the general consensus in a long time.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_01]: be a playoff team or a ballpark team, but there does seem to be things going in the right direction for us.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_02]: No, and we don't, yeah, again, like I said, we're talking in early May.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_02]: We don't know the answer to a lot of those questions.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, Carolina was in the playoffs last year.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_02]: You know, it's a solid division, maybe not a great, great division, but it's a solid competitive division right now.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_02]: And you know, the Saints are one of those really intriguing teams to me.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_02]: There's a couple
- 22:34[SPEAKER_02]: 10 to 10 season example that the same to an example of that there's some team you know that that maybe not are in the national conversation on a regular basis, but for someone like me they're really intriguing and very curious to see how it plays out.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll see how it plays out this upcoming season.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_01]: Greg, thank you so much for joining us as always a tremendous tremendous knowledge and just insight for our listeners and our viewers.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_01]: We appreciate you making the time to come on for all our viewers and listeners.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_01]: We appreciate y'all listening to all this Port Y'all give to Ryan and I and with that we are out.
- 23:10[UNKNOWN]: Peace.
