- 0:07Now broadcasting from the next-gen conservative studio in
- 0:11Sunny South Florida, bringing you the latest in politics
- 0:15current events and pop culture. This is he's the Whitfield
- 0:19Report with Sam Whitfield. Hey there folks, welcome to the
- 0:33show the Tuesday edition, and welcome back.
- 0:38Hope you all had a very merry Christmas.
- 0:42I know I did. I actually, you know what, this
- 0:45Christmas for a multitude of reasons, was one of the best
- 0:52years. I think I've had in a while.
- 0:59At least since it's been the best one I've had since before
- 1:04the pandemic, that's true. And I think it's true for all of
- 1:09us actually. Just, I noticed there were,
- 1:13there was a lot more sheerness going around this, you know,
- 1:17this Christmas season people seemed a lot more cheery not as
- 1:23up here, as apprehensive. You know, is the one of the past
- 1:30like I think, you know, more inside.
- 1:34For like the last two Christmases you had the, you
- 1:38know, the covid Karen's and Ken dolls, you know, as I refer to
- 1:44the male covid, Karen's, I refer to them as Ken dolls.
- 1:48But yeah, the covid Karen's and the covid Ken dolls, you know,
- 1:53freaking out. Everyone you know, saying why
- 1:58even going out shopping, how dare you write?
- 2:02And then you had the, you had the, you know, the Vemma anti
- 2:07Masters who were like I'm not going to go anywhere even if
- 2:11there is, you know, someone's wearing a mask.
- 2:13I'm not going in there. You know, goddamn it because of
- 2:17the You know, because they want us to ask and I will not comply
- 2:22and I, you know, it was just crazy the last two years, just
- 2:27with that and with all the uncertainty, you know, of the
- 2:32holidays and especially after especially after 2020.
- 2:39After that. I like some when things were
- 2:42really, you know, Things were looking Grim but this year,
- 2:48fortunately, everyone seemed to be, you know, really festive
- 2:51mood things went smoothly on my end.
- 2:55I pretty much got everything I wanted, you know, and then a few
- 3:00other things that I love, but I wasn't really expecting.
- 3:06So that's good. I know the holidays, you know,
- 3:12May have been tough for a lot of people and trust me, I
- 3:15understand that I've been there before to the holidays, can only
- 3:22be emotionally taxing for some people at various times.
- 3:29And other years, the holidays can be wonderful and joyous and
- 3:34I'm just very glad that overall the holidays were You know, a
- 3:41pretty joyous thing. I ruin glad So today's episode
- 3:47folks, I just kind of want to this is my final show of, you
- 3:54know 2022. I'm hoping to do at least one
- 3:59more live, one this coming Thursday, maybe but this will be
- 4:07the last Tuesday edition of the show and I do have some
- 4:10housekeeping that I do want to do at the end of the show here.
- 4:15But I'll get to that in a bit. In the meantime though, I do
- 4:19want to catch up with, you know, a few things both in politics
- 4:24and pop culture. One of the things that I want
- 4:28to, you know, one of the things I saw popping up all over social
- 4:35media, and it was a You know, something popped up about like,
- 4:40a week ago, right before Christmas, but I didn't really
- 4:44address it was this new information that the, you know,
- 4:49that the CIA could have. In fact, been involved in the
- 4:55Kennedy assassination. now folks, to me This seems fairly
- 5:04obvious. And straightforward.
- 5:09The see I was involved with Kennedy assassination.
- 5:13Nothing new. Is really new here for me or for
- 5:19anyone who has been suspicious of the, you know, the Kennedy
- 5:23assassination or the quote-unquote legit story for
- 5:27the past you know 60 years now, just like the Twitter files,
- 5:35right? This new batch of I guess CID
- 5:40classifications pretty much confirms what most of us At
- 5:46least in this audience, you know, have known for probably,
- 5:51all all of our lives at least if you're around my age and then
- 5:55for the older, you know, for the older folks, like my stepdad,
- 5:59what they've all known for the entirety of their lives, you
- 6:02know? Going back to the assassination
- 6:04which was that something something stinks here.
- 6:09Something's not kosher. Right.
- 6:12But Taco Carlos and I guess, one over these Declassified
- 6:19documents about a week or so ago on his show and I didn't have a
- 6:26chance to watch the clip admittedly.
- 6:32But I want to go through this with you guys and kind of my
- 6:41reaction, so this From Tucker collisions show me, see the date
- 6:47here, let's see here, if I pull up the day, okay, so this this
- 6:56clip was originally uploaded on. Let's see Let's see.
- 7:10It just, okay. So it So this club premiered on
- 7:18December 15th. So not quite a week and a half
- 7:25ago, but again, this printer which kind of confirms at least,
- 7:32from what? I've seen everything we knew
- 7:34about the Kennedy assassination, a lot of people have been asking
- 7:38me to go over this. So what's go ahead and do that.
- 7:43So yeah. Roll the tape Tucker Carlson
- 7:47tonight. So not long after Jack Ruby.
- 7:49Shut Lee Harvey Oswald on camera in the basement of Dallas Police
- 7:53Headquarters. A lot of Americans started to
- 7:55have some questions about the Kennedy assassination.
- 7:58It was, you'd have to admit, a pretty extraordinary sequence of
- 8:01events, a lone gunman murders. The president of the United
- 8:04States. And then less than 48 hours
- 8:07later that lone gunman is himself murdered by another lone
- 8:11gunman. What are the odds of that?
- 8:14One thing if you get struck by lightning rare but possible but
- 8:18if every member of your family also get struck by lightning,
- 8:20all in different days, you might begin to suspect.
- 8:23These are not entirely natural events but oh replied the US
- 8:27government. They are this bizarre chain of
- 8:30killings was all entirely natural so less than a year
- 8:33after the JFK assassination, the Johnson White House released,
- 8:36something called the Warren Commission report and the report
- 8:40concluded that while their motives remained unclear both
- 8:43Lee Oswald and Jack Ruby had acted alone, no one helped them.
- 8:47There was no conspiracy of any kind Case Closed.
- 8:50Time to move on and many many Americans did move on at the
- 8:53time, they had no idea how shoddy and corrupt.
- 8:56The Warren Commission was, it would be nearly 50 years before
- 8:59the CIA admitted under duress. That in fact, had withheld
- 9:03information from investigators about its relationship with Lee
- 9:06Harvey Oswald But even then at the time before that was known,
- 9:11the government's explanation didn't seem entirely plausible
- 9:14and some people started asking obvious questions about it.
- 9:17It was at that point, As Americans started to doubt the
- 9:20official story that the term conspiracy theory entered our
- 9:23lexicon as Professor Lance dehaven Smith points out in his
- 9:27book on the subject. The term conspiracy theory did
- 9:30not exist as a phrase in everyday.
- 9:31American conversation before 1964 in 1964, the year, the
- 9:36Warren Commission issued its report.
- 9:38Art, the New York Times. Published five stories in which
- 9:41conspiracy theory appeared now. Today, of course, the term
- 9:45conspiracy theory appears in pretty much every New York Times
- 9:48story about American politics. It's wielded.
- 9:51Now as then as a weapon against anyone who asked questions the
- 9:54government doesn't feel like answering.
- 9:57But despite 60 years of name-calling, those questions
- 9:59have not disappeared. In fact, they have multiplied
- 10:02with time and here's one of them.
- 10:04In April of 1964, a psychiatrist called Lewis joycelyn West.
- 10:08Seated. Jack Ruby in his isolation cell
- 10:10in a Dallas jail. According to West written
- 10:14assessment, he found that Jack Ruby was quote technically
- 10:17insane and in need of immediate psychiatric hospitalization.
- 10:22Those are conclusions that puzzlingly no one who had spoken
- 10:24to Jack Ruby previously. Had reached Ruby had seemed
- 10:27perfectly sane to the people who knew him Louis Joyland West
- 10:31pronounced him crazy. But what what West did not say
- 10:35was that he was working for the CIA at the time.
- 10:38Louis Jordan West was a contract psychiatrist for the spy agency
- 10:41was also an expert on mind control and a prominent player
- 10:44in the now, Infamous MKUltra program in which the CIA gave
- 10:48powerful psychiatric drugs. So I want to point out here that
- 10:55I do kind of find it funny and humorous that the term MKUltra
- 11:01is now once again being kind of pushed to the Forefront of the
- 11:09Lexicon, you know, culturally I know that Davey Krakow no longer
- 11:18on YouTube exclusive. Loosely on Odyssey but still you
- 11:22know he's been on the show before he and several others
- 11:26have talked, I'm K Ultra for a long time now and you know like
- 11:36even just five years ago I remember a few broad with the
- 11:38term up at the term MKUltra, you know, even like a lot of quote
- 11:45unquote, you know, Patriots or people who were searching with
- 11:50the truth. They would How are you quack for
- 11:53bringing bringing up the term MKUltra.
- 11:56But this, in fact, you know, it's being brought into the
- 12:02mainstream again folks. so anyway, continuing on Drugs to
- 12:15Americans without their knowledge.
- 12:18So of all the psychiatrist in the world.
- 12:20What in the world was? This guy doing in Jack?
- 12:23Ruby's prison cell, The media did not seem interested in
- 12:27finding out. In fact, the New York Times in
- 12:29an extensive 1999 obituary of West never mentioned.
- 12:34The fact that he had worked for the CIA much less his time in
- 12:37Jack Ruby's cell which seems relevant. and that could have
- 12:43been and I'm not defending the CIA by any means on this, but
- 12:48the explanation for that light is in genuine could, in fact be
- 12:53that That was not yet Declassified.
- 12:59There were a lot of people who worked for the agency a long
- 13:05time ago during the Cold War there information still has not
- 13:11been Declassified. For instance, my step
- 13:15grandfather who served in World War Two.
- 13:20He was a tank commander at both the Battle of the Bulge And deed
- 13:25at Normandy, right? So he was a hero obviously, and
- 13:30I spoke to him a lot, you know, when I, when I was in my light
- 13:37tweens kind becoming a teenager I was interested in history.
- 13:43Even then and I remember he talked about he talked about
- 13:46World War 2, a lot. Hence why I've always been
- 13:49fascinated with this subject but he also mentioned that he did
- 13:54some work with the intelligence community and when I asked him
- 14:02what that was, he said that he he still can't talk about and
- 14:08that was about like in 2007-2008 a year before I died in 2009 and
- 14:18by then he was like in his mid-80s but even then A lot of
- 14:23those old spy Masters. They took a lot of their secrets
- 14:28to the Grave so that the New York Times in their defense,
- 14:31might not have been even known that.
- 14:32This guy was agency, So you can see wine on crazy people would
- 14:44wonder about what really happened and of course, many
- 14:47have wondered in 1976 long forgotten that House
- 14:52Representatives, empanelled a special committee to
- 14:54reinvestigate the JFK assassination their bipartisan
- 14:57in conclusion, Jack Kennedy was almost certainly murdered as the
- 15:01result of a conspiracy, but the question is a conspiracy by
- 15:05whom, well, the obvious suspect would be the CIA.
- 15:09Why else would the agency with hold?
- 15:10Critical evidence for investigators.
- 15:13Is there a benign explanation for that for maintaining this
- 15:16level of secrecy for this many years?
- 15:20Not that we're aware of, and it is illegal in 1992 Congress
- 15:24passed. The President John F, Kennedy
- 15:25assassination records collection act.
- 15:28And that act mandated full disclosure of all documents by
- 15:312017. 54 years, after JFK was killed.
- 15:36The last Administration promised to comply fully with that law
- 15:39but under intense pressure from CIA director, Mike Pompeo
- 15:43withheld. In the end thousands of pages of
- 15:46CIA documents today. This afternoon, the B
- 15:50Administration did exactly the same thing that would be
- 15:52thousands of pages of documents after nearly 60 years after the
- 15:58death of every single person involved but we still can't see
- 16:03them clearly. It's not to protect any person.
- 16:06They're All dead. It's to protect an institution
- 16:09but why? Well today, we decided to find
- 16:13out we spoke to someone who had access to these still hidden.
- 16:16See, a documents person who is deeply familiar with what they
- 16:19contain. We ask this person directly did
- 16:23the CIA have a hand in the murder of John F, Kennedy an
- 16:26American president. And here's the reply, we
- 16:29received verbatim quote. The answer is yes, I believe
- 16:33they were involved. It's a whole different country
- 16:36from what we thought it was. It's all fake.
- 16:40It's hard to imagine a more jarring response than that.
- 16:42Again, this is not a quote conspiracy theorist that we
- 16:45spoke to not even close. This is someone with direct
- 16:49knowledge of the information that once again is being
- 16:52withheld from the American public.
- 16:54And the answer we received was unequivocal.
- 16:56Yes, the CIA was involved in the assassination of the president.
- 17:01Now some people will not be surprised to hear that.
- 17:03They suspected it all along, but no matter how you feel about, or
- 17:07what you thought about the Kennedy assassination, pause to
- 17:09consider what this means, it means that within the US
- 17:13government, there are forces, wholly, Beyond Democratic
- 17:16control. These forces are more powerful
- 17:19than the elected officials that supposedly oversee them.
- 17:22These forces can affect election outcomes.
- 17:25They can even hide their complicity in the murder of an
- 17:28American president. Other words, they can do pretty
- 17:30much anything. They Want they constitute a
- 17:33government within a government mocking by their very existence,
- 17:37the idea of democracy. As cynical as we have become.
- 17:41After 30 years of watching government officials, ignore the
- 17:43voters who employ them We were shocked to learn this.
- 17:47It's not acceptable. Americans have trusted their
- 17:51government less with every passing year since the killing
- 17:54of John F. Kennedy maybe this is why and
- 17:58people have known this for a long time.
- 18:00The people who knew would include every director of the
- 18:03CIA since November of 1963 and that list would include Obama's
- 18:08CIA director. John Brennan, one of the most
- 18:10Sinister and dishonest figures in American Life.
- 18:13That list would also include, we are sad to say our friend, Mike
- 18:17Pompeo who ran the CIA in the last Administration, Mike Pompeo
- 18:21new. This we asked Pompey to join us
- 18:24tonight. And though, he really turns down
- 18:25a televised interview, he refused to come.
- 18:28We hope you'll reconsider subscribe.
- 18:37All right, ladies and gentlemen now, I have a few things to say
- 18:42on this. I for one was really not shocked
- 18:48to hear. My name is but to be honest,
- 18:53when it comes to the Kennedy assassination and they all turn
- 18:57in the alternative history behind all that.
- 19:00I I've been into the Kennedy assassination, just as a hobby
- 19:05and whatnot, you know, since I was a freshman in high school
- 19:10Cool. In fact, you know there are
- 19:14earlier very early on in the pot in the history of my podcasting
- 19:20career. I'm not even sure if these
- 19:22episodes are on BlogTalkRadio anymore if they got rid of them.
- 19:26But I had a friend, a good friend Ryan malls who would call
- 19:33in and discuss the You know the Kennedy assassination with me,
- 19:40we were probably like 15 or 16 but even then his theory was
- 19:47that the CIA was involved my so yeah.
- 19:52And also my grandmother who was you know she was alive during
- 20:00the you know during the Kennedy assassination.
- 20:04She's 88 now. But she has told me on multiple
- 20:09occasions that she always believed that the Johnson
- 20:11administration at the very least had a hand in the Kennedy
- 20:17administration. So why am I bringing this up
- 20:20today? After the you have to the
- 20:24Christmas season because it's not a very cheery thing to talk
- 20:27about. Certainly the Canadians
- 20:30destination. Well, I'm bringing up because it
- 20:33was brought up a few You know, weeks ago, and people asked me
- 20:38to talk about it. And I haven't gotten a chance to
- 20:42talk about until now and then I also saw a tweet today on
- 20:49Twitter from someone, and I wish I bookmarked it because It
- 20:57really kind of hit the ball home. for me, as far as you
- 21:05know, people are asking that now well, anything happened because
- 21:13of this, you right? We'll we'll the CIA finally
- 21:19crumble will. They finally go down for the
- 21:21assassination Kennedy? And, you know, folks, I believe
- 21:25that the answer is no and the reason being is This user on
- 21:32Twitter who seem to be very, you know, pretty much like a normie
- 21:39said something along the lines of well, Fox News and Tucker
- 21:43Carlson, are the only ones who are talking about, you know,
- 21:47these yay, Dawkins right? Tucker Carlson is the only one
- 21:53covering and so is Alex Jones and all these.
- 21:56You know, crazy right wing conspiracy theorists.
- 22:00If this were actually true more than just Fox News would be
- 22:04covering it. Right. and unfortunately, folks
- 22:10that is a sentiment now that we encountered a lot of it on the
- 22:17internet, When anything? Out of the, you know, ordinary
- 22:26pops up. And, you know, people question,
- 22:32there's always, you know, there's always a contingent of
- 22:36the population that will always dismiss.
- 22:39You know, people questioning things as a conspiracy theory.
- 22:44Or, you know, just crazy talk, right?
- 22:50I mean, my YouTube channel has gotten, you know, multiple
- 22:55strikes for just mentioning a certain virus of Unknown Origin,
- 23:03right? Other channels.
- 23:06I mean, same with, you know, or you know, questioning, the
- 23:11results was an election. People aren't allowed to do
- 23:15that. The point being, you know there
- 23:20is a percentage of the population believes that
- 23:22questioning. The narrative is bad and if you
- 23:26do you're just a kook. And unfortunately ladies and
- 23:33gentlemen, the people who are just happy to accept the
- 23:37narrative on everything, are the same ones.
- 23:42You think that uh oh you know the Kennedy assassination.
- 23:47There was no conspiracy there. Now that now the you know, now
- 23:52the major concession from the north from like the load here,
- 23:56low information voters, people as Rush Limbaugh like to call
- 24:01them. Now the low information voters
- 24:04are crowd. This is the latest thing I've
- 24:06heard well, okay, the Kennedy assassination may have been a
- 24:12conspiracy But that happened 60 years ago.
- 24:17Now, one is still alive from that time.
- 24:22So why does it matter? Well, first off folks, it's that
- 24:27attitude, that is so dangerous, you know, to the country and a
- 24:33lot of people have that regarding the committee
- 24:36assassination. And number two, I'll tell you
- 24:41why the Kennedy assassination still matters and why the
- 24:44Kennedy conspiracy still matters. because the people who
- 24:51are who were involved in the Kennedy assassination or always
- 24:56the institutions that these people have worked for, are
- 25:02still in power, they're still running things, and in charge of
- 25:08our government, the military industrial complex, which
- 25:14President Eisenhower warned against way back in the 1950s,
- 25:21is bigger than ever. They are incredibly powerful and
- 25:29they have tremendous Stranglehold.
- 25:32Over both the government and Private Industry and same thing
- 25:36with the intelligence agencies. And yeah, the actual people who
- 25:43were involved in the Canadian assassination.
- 25:46Might be gone, but the institutions, here in America
- 25:52are still operating and if you think that they were abusing
- 25:56power, then Well, we probably don't even know what they're
- 26:01doing. Now, they're probably doing
- 26:04things that we can't even comprehend, but we can't talk
- 26:08about it because we're just, you know, crazy conspiracy theorist.
- 26:12And again this is kind of the same thing with the Twitter
- 26:16files. Folks, you know, people keep
- 26:19asking Sam a view. Have you covered the lightest?
- 26:24Twitter files? Have you covered, you know, have
- 26:28you been paying attention to the latest Twitter files?
- 26:32And you know I I've went over the first segment of Twitter
- 26:40files when the second set of Twitter files here on the show.
- 26:47After that. Apex and really to be honest,
- 26:56myself included real lost interest in. the Twitter files
- 27:04at least reading them on air because essentially the Twitter
- 27:10files proves That Big Tex collusion with the government.
- 27:19We know, basically everything, we suspected that Twitter was
- 27:23doing before long musk took over.
- 27:26We now know that it did happen, right?
- 27:31I'm not discrediting the fact that it's been revealed, it's
- 27:34good that we know that that all has been confirmed, but my
- 27:39question now is what is going to be done about that?
- 27:46Right. Is Congress going to take any
- 27:49action, will any officials be called to Washington from
- 27:56Twitter? You know, to answer for this.
- 28:02Is this going to be? Are they going to be more, you
- 28:06know, serious investigations into what Google is doing?
- 28:12Well, that is doing what YouTube is doing because I can tell you
- 28:16that Google or rather alphabet, the company that owns Google and
- 28:22YouTube, they have a massive Stranglehold on data.
- 28:28And whatnot of Twitter has been abusing.
- 28:30Their power, chances are alphabet has to same with same
- 28:34with Amazon. Okay, right.
- 28:37I live an Amazon Prime, you know, member like a lot of other
- 28:42people I use Amazon, but they probably have, you know, data
- 28:48that they're, you know, that they've been collecting on me
- 28:51that they've you know, used for Ellis.
- 28:56Purposes. You know, and I, you know, maybe
- 29:01even Apple to a certain extent. Apple is very private is very
- 29:05privacy based and, you know, usually I I, you know, I'm very
- 29:10quick to praise Apple because they are so good for the most
- 29:15part, but, you know, even who was an accident with them?
- 29:19You just don't know these days. You know, big Tech can be very
- 29:24abusive and same with the you know, in same with the
- 29:30government and I know the audience that regular that
- 29:34really turns into this program, I know you guys know that but
- 29:38there there's a certain percentage of the population
- 29:40that you know you can You can share all this information with
- 29:46them and they just won't care, right?
- 29:49It's like the old saying goes, you can lead a horse to water,
- 29:52but you can't make them drink, right?
- 29:55You can show the people the information, but unless they
- 29:58want to dig in further for themselves, you know, one can do
- 30:02things for themselves. Which some people do.
- 30:08Okay I'll I'll grant them. That there are some people who
- 30:12once you leave them down a path. They will look into more
- 30:15information right there, the cures types and that's good that
- 30:20they're always willing to, you know, look into things.
- 30:23But there are a lot of people who, you know, once you lead
- 30:26them to water, you can't they won't drink so.
- 30:32Anyway, that's my take on the, you know, on the Kennedy thing.
- 30:37Nice to have confirmation that the city I was in fact involved,
- 30:42but will anything come from it? I don't really know.
- 30:48So okay, the the next thing I want to bring up in pop culture.
- 30:56News is henrique have Al's exit from the role of Superman?
- 31:06This was pretty big news that happen.
- 31:12Just before Christmas. and long story short Henry Cavill, who
- 31:21has you know in playing Superman since 2013 He, you know, he's
- 31:30adamant, he's had like a very off again on again, off again
- 31:35relationship with her, you know, Warner, Brothers and DC
- 31:39entertainment as of light. And it was announced last week
- 31:47that he was, he was like, go I guess from his contract, as
- 31:54Superman, primarily because James gone.
- 31:58I guess is rebooting the DC movie Universe from what Jax
- 32:06from what Zack Snyder had created and is kind of doing his
- 32:11own thing now. And so as a result Henry Cavill
- 32:19and Gal Gadot are no longer in the respective roles as Superman
- 32:27and Wonder Woman, and we all are we already knew that Ben Affleck
- 32:31was out as Batman and obviously, Robert Pattinson isn't that role
- 32:40now and You know, the Batman movies are kind of doing their
- 32:48own thing right now, right? But as far as Henry Cavill and
- 32:54and I Gal Gadot go there out as both Superman and Wonder Woman.
- 33:01Now, there are a lot of people who, you know, are saying well,
- 33:11Henry Cavill was let go because of I woke politics and Hollywood
- 33:17and, you know, he's not woke so therefore the studios they let
- 33:22him go because he's against he's against.
- 33:26Whoa. Chasm and so is Gal Gadot and
- 33:30you know, that's why they were, that's why they won't were like
- 33:32go And you know, as much as I love some of my fellow
- 33:39YouTubers. In the pop culture.
- 33:43Commentary space, let's be honest.
- 33:48You the reason why Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot were let go It
- 33:55wasn't due to politics really. at least, there seems to be no
- 34:01serious indication of that rather, because DC entertainment
- 34:11and Warner. Brothers are just shitty
- 34:15managers, basically. That's wrong what it comes down
- 34:21to shitty management. And you know, I know we look at
- 34:25Henry, Cavill, you know, and Gallagher do, especially the
- 34:30guys with the Gal Gadot. I know that we like to look at
- 34:33both of them with rose-tinted tinted glasses and say, oh, they
- 34:40were the best, you know? They were the best as you know,
- 34:45Wonder Woman and Superman. And you know, there's nobody
- 34:49else like them and how can I You know, how can James Gunn fuck
- 34:56them over like this, right? And you have a you have a few,
- 35:02there are a few things I want to point out here.
- 35:06First off, let me just say that Henry Cavill did a terrific job
- 35:12as Superman and so did Gal Gadot that first Wonder Woman movie,
- 35:19especially was probably the best.
- 35:24You know, it was the it was the highest grossing film in
- 35:28probably the the most well-reviewed movie of the DC.
- 35:34Extended Universe movies, right? And they did their jobs, well,
- 35:40in the respective role, however I remember that man is still one
- 35:48of the one of the criticisms for Man of Steel was that, you know,
- 35:55Superman and that movie was too dark and too, you know, it was
- 36:01too depressing, was too bad man like you know, and Superman was
- 36:06meant to be more uplifting and more optimistic and You know, I
- 36:14I don't necessarily think it was bad but it was only a tone
- 36:18change. You know that received mixed
- 36:24reviews right? Batman v Superman I actually
- 36:28liked Batman v Superman. I thought they did a really good
- 36:32job. It did have some pacing issues
- 36:37and some writing issues, but I actually like to display.
- 36:41A lot of people saying that was, you know, one of the worst
- 36:46superhero movies, ever, Justice League was terrible.
- 36:53At least the Joss Whedon cut the Snyder cop.
- 36:59Justice League was excellent. But as most people know, the
- 37:02only reason why we even got That was because the fans had been,
- 37:09you know, basically petitioning that for years.
- 37:13And it was a good cut and I'm glad that people finally got to
- 37:16see it but even that, you know, it wasn't, it wasn't perfect,
- 37:24right? It wasn't, It was a bit
- 37:28clunking, you know, some areas, especially with, you know,
- 37:33riding and length really. So my point being is that the,
- 37:39you know, DC's biggest problem, right?
- 37:43I think, is that they've been trying to catch up to Marvel?
- 37:53For years and years and years. At this point Marvel when they
- 37:57came out with the MCU with the Marvel Cinematic Universe, all
- 38:02the way back in 2008, with the first Iron Man movie, they
- 38:07struck gold and they built a universe around that.
- 38:13And well, I have said on this podcast, I think a lot of people
- 38:18are getting super oh fatigue at least in the movies.
- 38:22Me included. There's no denying that the
- 38:29Marvel Cinematic Universe at least in its early days.
- 38:35It was basically Unstoppable, right?
- 38:38They built it, you know, a cohesive universe that kept
- 38:42people coming back that at least in its early days, had pretty
- 38:47good. You know, movies and pretty good
- 38:50stories. And really flushed out a
- 38:55universe that people enjoyed and told you no good stores and
- 39:02brought the comic books. Brought Marvel, comic books to
- 39:05life. And you know now they've kind of
- 39:09dragged the MCU out to the point where people are kind of like
- 39:14okay you know this is getting Point pretty formulaic.
- 39:19Where's this going? Okay.
- 39:21Oh, you know another movie. Okay.
- 39:28You know, no doubt Marvel Studios got has gone formulaic.
- 39:34People are starting to lose interest in it.
- 39:38I think a lot of it and again, that's just the whole superhero
- 39:42movie, genre fatigue. I think people are getting But
- 39:47like or not. Marvel has the, you know, has a
- 39:50formula and DC has just been trying to copy that, right?
- 39:59And they've done so unsuccessfully.
- 40:05And you know, like I said, Henry Cavill, great actor, same with
- 40:09Gal Gadot. I mean Ben Affleck You know,
- 40:15he's had personal issues but you know he's pretty he's a pretty
- 40:18decent actor and a big name and they let him go as their Batman.
- 40:26And when that when that happened a few years ago, I knew that
- 40:29they were in trouble. DC, when it comes to the movies,
- 40:35they're playing catch-up to Marble.
- 40:40Right and they can't afford to, you know, keep doing that.
- 40:48They have to reinvent the will the wheel somehow.
- 40:54So I guess that's what they're going to try and do with James
- 40:57Gunn. And to be honest.
- 41:03I can't really say that. I'm that optimistic.
- 41:10I know that James Gunn is dragging and he did.
- 41:14He really did a good job with The Peacemaker series on HBO
- 41:20Max. But let's be honest, the suicide
- 41:24movies. He did The Suicide Squad movies
- 41:27that he did. Our are not that great.
- 41:31And so again I really hope that DC is not just trying to copy my
- 41:37rope, they actually do something.
- 41:40Creative. But we will see in the meantime
- 41:45as for what is going to happen to Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot.
- 41:56I know that Gal Gadot has like a project coming up for some
- 42:01Netflix show. I haven't seen too much about
- 42:06it, to be honest, but it'll be interesting to see what her are
- 42:12there. You know what she does outside
- 42:14of one woman. She, she was okay and the last
- 42:19Fast and Furious movie and I don't roll, even the like those
- 42:21babies but she was, she did. Okay.
- 42:26As far as Henry Cavill goes. There are rumors that he's going
- 42:31to be the next James Bond and to be honest, I didn't really see
- 42:37at first because I thought well he's already playing Superman
- 42:43and he's already playing, you know, geralt in The Witcher.
- 42:48But since he's been basically cut from those two projects,
- 42:57and, The future of James bought bond is up in the air, honestly.
- 43:08I think that Henry couple should be heavily, you know, considered
- 43:16for the role of James Bond, he really does.
- 43:21I don't want to say, you looks like Sean Connery.
- 43:26But he does kind of have Sean Connery's, I guess Swagger.
- 43:32And he looks very much like how Ian Fleming originally
- 43:38Illustrated him so I think Henry Cavill would be a good choice if
- 43:44they bring and Henry Cavill as James Bond.
- 43:48I would personally like to see Gal Gadot in a Bond movie
- 43:54actually and more, specifically, one of the James Bond novels
- 44:00from the 1980s features a, you know, a villain who is a woman
- 44:08and she's a femme face, hell for James Bond.
- 44:12And she's an, she's an ex Mossad agent who basically you know,
- 44:20she turns against the Mossad and turns against Western world and
- 44:28you know, she has this actually pretty Sinister, you know,
- 44:33conspiracy and She seduces James Bond and really fucks with his
- 44:41head, you know, an addition to just fucking him in general, but
- 44:45it, but it's, you know, it's a pretty good plot actually, I
- 44:50think of the bond villainous Xenia onatopp except instead of,
- 44:57you know, being a, just a henchwoman think of that.
- 45:01But with, you know, being the Femme Fatale Mastermind Of the
- 45:08of the movie. That's kind of where I see, you
- 45:12know, Gal, Gadot her playing a bond villain.
- 45:15I had a bond going as I think, I think she could do it and I
- 45:19think, I think would actually be, you know, surprising twist
- 45:24to see a, you know, a bond villain be a woman.
- 45:30But of course in, you know, today's present a Hollywood I'm
- 45:35not sure forget that or not. But hey, that's just kind my
- 45:40wish. I don't know what happened.
- 45:45So I don't have anything too much to cover.
- 45:49One last thing I do kind of want to cover though, folks is a
- 45:53little fun Easter egg that I uncovered kind of in podcasting.
- 46:02So people have kind of asked just in general on the in it for
- 46:06years. Why does Howard Stern?
- 46:12You know, Joe Rogan. Why are those kind of feuding?
- 46:14It always seems like whenever Howard Stern Pops in the mix up
- 46:18in the news. It's because he's bitching about
- 46:22by Joe Rogan. And you know, how?
- 46:26And Joe Rogan doesn't really pay it, you know, doesn't really
- 46:28address how stirring at all, you know, he'll be asked at Howard,
- 46:34but he won't really bring them up at all.
- 46:36And people have often wondered Nerd.
- 46:39Why that is? And I found a, you know, quick I
- 46:44guess 30-minute documentary on YouTube about this very thing.
- 46:50So let me go ahead and Share the screen once again so, okay.
- 47:04So this comes from a channel by the name of to the number, too,
- 47:16lazy to try and I will link has video If you're watching this on
- 47:25YouTube, I'll link it in the, you know, in the title card
- 47:31somewhere. And if you're listening on
- 47:34Spotify, ER, the podcast players, all wings this in the
- 47:37show notes. But long story short, this is
- 47:41YouTube, who kind of Chronicles, the history of Howard Stern, and
- 47:48Joe Rogan and kind of their Feud.
- 47:51I'm not going to play the whole I didn't.
- 47:53But I think it's worth playing or what about Matt waste.
- 48:00Yo, I'm going to be talking about Joe Rogan, and is
- 48:02relationship with Howard Stern, and his time on the Howard Stern
- 48:05Show, because I'm sure most people are aware, and that
- 48:08Howard is in the biggest fan of Joe, because it seems like the
- 48:11only time he's made headlines in the past few years, is when he
- 48:14criticizes Joe and his podcast and is political takes, and is
- 48:17takes on coronavirus and all that kind of stuff.
- 48:19But unless you really know your Joe Rogan or Howard Stern lure,
- 48:23you're probably not aware that Joe Rogan.
- 48:25And Howard have had a pretty tumultuous relationship for
- 48:28almost 20 years now. And that's what we're going to
- 48:30be checking out today because I thought it was pretty
- 48:32interesting looking back on it and knowing what Joe Rogan has
- 48:35become like the top podcast of all time and knowing that Howard
- 48:39Stern is probably the top broadcaster of all time and
- 48:41these two were each a big fan of each other.
- 48:44And Joe was a regular guest on the Stern Show in the early
- 48:472000s when it was a big deal to go on there like going on their
- 48:50back, then was probably like going on The Joe Rogan
- 48:52Experience today. So it was a pretty big deal for
- 48:54Joe to be going on there consistently and it seemed like
- 48:57he was a good fit on the show. People enjoy.
- 48:59Oi them. It seemed like Howard, enjoy
- 49:01them, but that didn't last very long and things soon, took a
- 49:03turn. So, before I really get into it
- 49:05here, I just want to get this right at user credit.
- 49:08This user core mono, he made a whole post about Joe and
- 49:13Howard's relationship and his time on the show and everything.
- 49:15And he even linked some audio clips.
- 49:17I'm going to use so big shout out to this guy because I was
- 49:20looking for more information on this because it's really hard to
- 49:23find any audio or footage of gel on the Howard Stern Show.
- 49:27But this guy found some of the best moments.
- 49:29And what I'm going to start with here is Joe's, first appearance
- 49:32on the Howard Stern Show, which I believe was in 2000 and that's
- 49:35right after Newsradio ended. And it's a year before, Fear
- 49:39Factor started and what really got Howard's attention was this
- 49:43sketch that Joe and Bryan? Callen did What fuck that.
- 49:50Bitch. She said that, fuck her.
- 49:54You got a great ass. You really think so.
- 49:57Yeah, man. Don't fucking listen to her turn
- 50:01around. Let me see your ass man.
- 50:04That's a great ass. Yeah, it's round and muscular.
- 50:10Let me see. Like take your pants down so I
- 50:12can really see it. Okay.
- 50:16So what do you think Mikey? That is a great ass I wouldn't
- 50:21lie to you Aunt. Olivia, so it tripping over
- 50:25yourself here, standing there with your pants down by your
- 50:27ankles like a fucking moron. It's take them off.
- 50:31Yeah. I guess it looks kind of stupid
- 50:33right here. You gonna trip and break your
- 50:34fucking head open. I let me see again I'd been I
- 50:40couldn't even fit my in your ass.
- 50:41That's how muscular it is. Come on, I'm serious.
- 50:45Look, I'm actually not totally sure that that was a sketch that
- 50:48might have just been a reality right there.
- 50:50And of course, Howard joked about that when Joe went on the
- 50:52show, like I said, this is a big moment for Joe because the
- 50:56Howard Stern Show was insanely popular.
- 50:58This is when it is close to its peak and Joe's appearance was a
- 51:02good one, it was only like 20 to 25 minutes but they talked about
- 51:05a lot and is really Painting and obviously Howard enjoy them on
- 51:09there because he brought him back on a bunch of other times.
- 51:13And I think he might have. I think, Joe, I'd have been in
- 51:15the running for Jackie spot. I'm not totally sure.
- 51:18But this is also right before his career really took off, and
- 51:21he got the hosting job on Fear Factor, but a lot of people
- 51:24don't know your name though. Yet, you're on the verge of
- 51:25breaking right. You know what I am?
- 51:27I'm that guy. You people see you down the
- 51:28street and go. Hey, didn't we go school
- 51:29together? I know you from.
- 51:33Oh no dude, don't you are you famous enough now, you get into
- 51:36the Playboy Mansion. And stuff like this, I would
- 51:38never, I think, you know, that's kind of be one of the most
- 51:40boring things in the world. We never go, right?
- 51:42You don't look like some point. It's kind of creepy so that part
- 51:45at the end there where they're talking about the Playboy
- 51:47mansion, that's definitely some foreshadowing because only a
- 51:51couple years later when Howard was doing a show in Vegas, where
- 51:54Joe was one of the guests and the night before apparently
- 51:58Howard was going out to one of the strip clubs and Joe was also
- 52:01there and then on the show the next day, Howard, and pretty
- 52:04much all of its crew, we're talking about how they're a
- 52:06little Back by how Joe was talking about and talking to, I
- 52:10believe the strippers and sorry for this audio quality, but this
- 52:14shit is really hard to find and I look out, look out young.
- 52:18If you're watching, look out young, Joe Rogan is there to.
- 52:22He's even got like hair and whatnot.
- 52:27Wow, I think this is the best. We're going to do here.
- 52:31I remember seeing this on YouTube, like four or five years
- 52:34ago, but now it's not on there anywhere, I don't know.
- 52:37If that's because of bent pixels or because of Howard Stern.
- 52:41Anyway, I figured I'd just walk in there and not really know
- 52:44anyone. Everyone was there from the show
- 52:47and a big appearance there? Well, what you already had an
- 52:49appearance in Stuttering. John has one there tonight, but
- 52:52Joe Rogan easy. You try to act like you're above
- 52:54this trip. And then I always see you
- 53:08sitting there, what are you talking about?
- 53:09You know what, Joe a paradise, Joe uses the word for about 20
- 53:14times an hour, these whores and send the other.
- 53:17We won the money, that way, that whole routine about the girls,
- 53:24who are angry, because he's using a dollar to get them, to
- 53:28take off their clothes. Yeah, that is a good routine.
- 53:30Using a bumblebee costume for that later, we were at the pool.
- 53:32Howard goes look, these are lower shelf hookers here
- 53:36tonight. It's crazy.
- 54:05That Howard is saying this stuff like right after this, they play
- 54:09butterface where they bring out girl.
- 54:11Who have like really nice bodies, but their face are just
- 54:14like busted and then they just roast them right to their face.
- 54:17So if he's calling you out on this shit, it's not a good look
- 54:21or maybe. He's just being a hypocrite.
- 54:22I don't know. But it sounds like everybody was
- 54:25a little freaked out by it. And again, this is like 20 years
- 54:28ago, so I really don't want to make a big deal about it.
- 54:30I mean, if all this is true, it's possible Jose change.
- 54:33Like, I doubt, you still saying shit like this, but I just want
- 54:37to show this stuff because this is kind of the start, or the
- 54:39beginning of the end of there. Relationship and things.
- 54:42Only go downhill from here, because Howard keeps digging
- 54:45into Joe's personal life, which is obviously part of the show.
- 54:49If you're going on there, you know, he's going to try to
- 54:51reveal like the darkish. It possible.
- 54:53Like that's what makes it so entertaining, and Joe doesn't
- 54:55seem like the person that likes to air out his dirty laundry.
- 54:58And he's not looking to be involved in any kind of drama or
- 55:01anything, and I'd say, even Howard, might have taken things
- 55:04too far. Like he does usually, like most
- 55:07of show, is him taking things too far.
- 55:09And, as you'll see later on, he never Really, let's the stripper
- 55:12thing go. So that was like, the real
- 55:14Catalyst, all this other stuff. I'm sure this just added to it.
- 55:17Like on one of the shows when Joe was sitting in Howard
- 55:20brought in Joe's ex who was a girl that was on Survivor, I
- 55:23believe and she might be an actress or something to and she
- 55:27revealed that Joe cheated on her there's an old So, yeah, I I got
- 55:34as far as that as this part of the thing last night, I don't
- 55:39watch the whole thing. But if you're a podcast guy or
- 55:43radio guy in, you enjoy this type of like deep, you know,
- 55:46podcast / radial or then you might enjoy this too.
- 55:56I certainly did. So again I'll I'll link this
- 56:01video in the description, you know.
- 56:07So everyone can go and watch this a big shout-out to too lazy
- 56:14to try and Yeah. So anyway, if you're into radio
- 56:22lore and all that this is pretty interesting, I think and yeah,
- 56:29alright folks, so that'll do it for the Tuesday show.
- 56:32I want to thank everyone for, you know, tuning in to today's
- 56:37program and wherever you're listening in the past present
- 56:41future. Our hopefully, I'll be back on
- 56:45Thursday, I think for One final show of the year and maybe we'll
- 56:51get some panelists, who knows? So hoping to do that, And as I
- 57:01said quick, you know, housekeeping things here at the
- 57:05end not much is changing. As far as the format goes for
- 57:11the show but I will be doing the show three times a week now in
- 57:152023. So I'll be doing the Tuesday,
- 57:20show the Thursday show, most likely those will be
- 57:23pre-recorded Yeah, unless I give notice otherwise and then as
- 57:32always we'll do the live show on Saturday evening.
- 57:36So we're doing three shows a week and plus you know I'm
- 57:41hoping to do some more exclusive content for the sub stack as
- 57:46well talking about various topics and whatnot more
- 57:51specific. Alright folks so without further
- 57:55Ado I want to thank you for listening.
- 57:57And and, and or watching have a good day or evening wherever you
- 58:02are, and I'll see you on the next episode.
