- 0:00Speaker 1: Okay, let's get into the when should someone sell a
- 0:03Speaker 1: long term position.
- 0:06Speaker 2: I think this is a great question, and you have
- 0:09Speaker 2: two types of investors. The investor you're trying to get
- 0:13Speaker 2: the capital together to get to your first goal, and
- 0:16Speaker 2: then you may have the second investor that's hit a
- 0:19Speaker 2: couple of different targets. But my thing is, if you
- 0:23Speaker 2: have not hit whatever your freedom number is, and shout
- 0:26Speaker 2: out to the brother for this question, there's no reason
- 0:28Speaker 2: to sell the way that the market is going with
- 0:31Speaker 2: in terms of inflation just over the weekend, Like I
- 0:35Speaker 2: was on a plane coming back right us that will
- 0:39Speaker 2: reach sixty four trillion by twenty thirty six, doubling from
- 0:42Speaker 2: twenty twenty three. I know that we'll talk about the
- 0:47Speaker 2: Dow peaked at fifty thousand, even though there's all kind
- 0:50Speaker 2: of unrest in the world. That's GDP. Some are saying
- 0:54Speaker 2: may hit two or three hundred, and that may be
- 0:56Speaker 2: the baseline or media number for most countries going forward.
- 1:01Speaker 2: So my thought is, if you sell off your assets
- 1:04Speaker 2: too early, unless you've hit your end goal number where
- 1:07Speaker 2: you like your few number, you're going to need more
- 1:10Speaker 2: capital in the future. And I don't see on either
- 1:13Speaker 2: side Republican or Democrat, a great potential leader in sight.
- 1:18Speaker 2: So I wouldn't hold off and think, well, I have
- 1:21Speaker 2: more than enough money right now. It would be a mistake.
- 1:24Speaker 2: So if the debt is supposed to increase by that
- 1:27Speaker 2: much by twenty thirty six, the value of the dollars
- 1:30Speaker 2: going to drop even more. Ray Dali will just put
- 1:32Speaker 2: out this past weekend, we're in phase six of the
- 1:37Speaker 2: New World Order. So now it's not the time unless
- 1:41Speaker 2: you've gotten to that mark of twenty million, thirty million,
- 1:44Speaker 2: fifty or the other number that we talk about behind
- 1:48Speaker 2: the scenes. Now's not the time to sell or liquidate.
- 1:52Speaker 1: And I think it's important just to pay attention to
- 1:54Speaker 1: the positions that you're in because something like paypals down
- 1:57Speaker 1: eighty nine percent. So when you start to see sure
- 2:02Speaker 1: that your investments have taken a drastic turn, not just
- 2:06Speaker 1: in price, but fundamental changes in the company, fundamental changes
- 2:10Speaker 1: in the industry, they no longer have a competitive advantage,
- 2:13Speaker 1: they no longer have a mote. There's someone else in
- 2:16Speaker 1: the in the space that is more relevant than them,
- 2:21Speaker 1: that's performing at a higher level than them. I think
- 2:24Speaker 1: it's important just because it is.
- 2:25Speaker 2: If you're not one or in the industry, not to
- 2:26Speaker 2: cut you off, but if they're not one or two,
- 2:29Speaker 2: you got to let it go.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yes, and you can't at it like you got
- 2:35Speaker 1: to have a stop loss there too. I said twenty
- 2:39Speaker 1: five percent stop loss. Yeah, because, like I said, PayPal's
- 2:42Speaker 1: down eighty nine percent, So you can't. You can't just say, Okay,
- 2:45Speaker 1: I'm just gonna hold it and hope for miraculous come back.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You had one hundred thousand dollars in PayPal, you know,
- 2:53Speaker 1: ten years ago. Now you got eight thousand dollars. Like,
- 2:57Speaker 1: that's not that's not a recipe to bill wealth.
- 3:01Speaker 2: I mean, real quick job creation is the weakest since
- 3:04Speaker 2: two thousand and three. Consumer delinquency hit a nine year high.
- 3:09Speaker 2: Small cap financials are exposed to both Deutsch GDP twenty
- 3:13Speaker 2: years ago with sixty percent, it's currently at one forty five.
- 3:18Speaker 2: They're not going to balance the budget anytime soon, No,
- 3:22Speaker 2: not likely, not likely. That's why, that's why goal got
- 3:25Speaker 2: to continue to go up.
