Prayer for Thursdays to Jesus, Agonizing on the Mount of Olives
Draw near to Jesus in His Agony in the Garden of Gethsemane through this profound Catholic prayer traditionally attributed to Saint Padre Pio. As we contemplate His sorrow and perfect obedience to the Father’s will, may we receive the grace of true repentance, strength in temptation, and perseverance in following Christ.
Prayer to Jesus, Agonizing on the Mount of Olives (Without Music) is a meditation on the mystery of Gethsemane, where our Lord freely accepted the cup of His Passion out of love for the salvation of the world.
