- 3:10Speaker 2: We've got a hell of a showy head, so don't
- 3:11Speaker 2: go anywhere.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Let's kick off with a bit of guns.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Roses the Darky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 3:22Speaker 1: and Kesey.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Is indeed read what Jilli Bibber is there on the
- 3:28Speaker 2: radio Hodaky Heads show this Tuesday afternoon. The time fourteen
- 3:32Speaker 2: minutes past four o'clock. By the way, if you need
- 3:35Speaker 2: to know the time or the weather, you can always
- 3:37Speaker 2: text us on three four eight three and keep those
- 3:40Speaker 2: texts coming. Reather tooy billboards. We'll be speaking to management
- 3:43Speaker 2: after five o'clock, won't we mote?
- 3:45Speaker 4: We absolutely will two price packs.
- 3:47Speaker 5: To give away as well, plenty of those, and everybody
- 3:50Speaker 5: who ticks and gets in the drawer so do it.
- 3:52Speaker 2: They probably won't be as good as they should be
- 3:54Speaker 2: because old Hordy Jay has been stealing some of the stuff.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Near true, all right, just to let you know, just
- 4:00Speaker 2: fore warned, tell you what feelings. Jeez, it was funny.
- 4:04Speaker 2: I didn't I didn't tell you this yesterday because I
- 4:08Speaker 2: completely forgot about it. But I on my week off
- 4:12Speaker 2: I ended up having a hor of an argument with
- 4:14Speaker 2: my wife.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Yeah, oh yeah, we could have picked that.
- 4:17Speaker 2: And it was one of those arguments where I was
- 4:20Speaker 2: saying to myself, you know what, it would be so
- 4:22Speaker 2: good if the boys were here, because they would totally
- 4:25Speaker 2: have my back on this, you know, and because I
- 4:29Speaker 2: didn't want to go too hard on her because what
- 4:32Speaker 2: she was saying didn't really make any sense. But it
- 4:35Speaker 2: was like I had to put my point of view
- 4:37Speaker 2: across anyway. But it was to do with refueling the car.
- 4:40Speaker 2: And can I replay the scenario for you in its
- 4:44Speaker 2: entiretyes please? Are so ridiculous. It's so ridiculous. So we
- 4:49Speaker 2: were going up to Munga Fire right, and I had
- 4:51Speaker 2: about odd and our third of a tank of guests.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Oh, so you're going to say a third of a
- 4:56Speaker 4: bottle of vodka.
- 4:58Speaker 2: That as well, But that was beforehand, I mean the
- 5:02Speaker 2: day before. Yeah, going up to see a lovely mom
- 5:07Speaker 2: up there. Actually she's lovely, and so I had a
- 5:10Speaker 2: third of a tank of gas.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Yes, and I thought, okay, we're going to mung A Fi.
- 5:14Speaker 2: That will probably be enough to bring me, get me
- 5:17Speaker 2: there and get me back again. But then I went, actually,
- 5:20Speaker 2: I should just play it safe. I'll play it safe
- 5:24Speaker 2: and get a bit of gas.
- 5:25Speaker 4: I'm already annoyed, and so we this is true.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Well we pull into the picture.
- 5:32Speaker 2: I said, sorry, darling, my lovely wife, I've got to
- 5:35Speaker 2: get some petrol. And she said, oh, yeah, that's cool.
- 5:38Speaker 2: That makes sense. So I pulled onto the petrol station
- 5:41Speaker 2: and she got out, and she's got a special little
- 5:43Speaker 2: do Decy card where you get a bit of a discount.
- 5:45Speaker 2: She said, I'll get it. Just how much will I
- 5:48Speaker 2: put in? And I said, I just put thirty bucks in?
- 5:51Speaker 2: And she went why would I do that? And I said, wow,
- 5:57Speaker 2: because we've already got a third of a tank of gas.
- 5:59Speaker 2: There soother thirty bucks that'll be more than enough. And
- 6:02Speaker 2: she said, well, why don't this is what she said,
- 6:06Speaker 2: so ridiculous. Why don't I just fill it up? And
- 6:09Speaker 2: I said, well, no, we don't need obviously that much gas.
- 6:15Speaker 2: Thirty bucks will be more than enough and then will
- 6:17Speaker 2: probably last us another day or two after that. She said,
- 6:19Speaker 2: but that's just stupid one, and I just fill the
- 6:21Speaker 2: bloody car. And I said, thirty dollars will be fine,
- 6:26Speaker 2: and when we come back, it'll still be fine for
- 6:28Speaker 2: another couple of days. And she when I think, and
- 6:31Speaker 2: she said, oh, well I think that's just bloody stupid.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Yeah, and there go your bloody studio.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Yeah, ago that I am stupid.
- 6:38Speaker 2: And I thought, this is one of those scenarios for sure,
- 6:41Speaker 2: when you want you.
- 6:44Speaker 4: Around.
- 6:44Speaker 2: Yeah, because I just want to know what your sort
- 6:47Speaker 2: of refueling philosophy is there, because I never fill up,
- 6:51Speaker 2: because I mean, that's just a fortune. That's ridiculous.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Well, there's a couple of things that play here. One,
- 6:55Speaker 4: we already talked about this about two weeks ago. Yes,
- 6:57Speaker 4: so you should be able to remember what our theory was.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Well, that was the half bottle of vodka.
- 7:01Speaker 4: Had when you said that you were saying this at
- 7:04Speaker 4: the time. But we'll get into how I feel about it.
- 7:06Speaker 4: So my question for you is, every time you go somewhere, Yes,
- 7:09Speaker 4: do you work out when you go to a service station?
- 7:12Speaker 4: You work out how much fuel you need to get
- 7:14Speaker 4: there and back plus a couple of days. Is that
- 7:18Speaker 4: how you work it out? Man? Generally is the way
- 7:20Speaker 4: I work it out.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Can I just tell you my general philosophy fifty bucks
- 7:26Speaker 2: each time?
- 7:26Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly, that's right. Noell, I fill it up every
- 7:28Speaker 4: single time because the less amount of times that I
- 7:31Speaker 4: go to the service station, the better, And there's no
- 7:34Speaker 4: advantage to put in fifty bucks in.
- 7:36Speaker 2: I expect it better from you, mate, Yeah, yeah.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Yeah, And well I haven't changed my mind since we
- 7:40Speaker 4: talked about it two weeks ago. You did not put
- 7:43Speaker 4: together a case that changed my mind. Patsan, what about you, brother,
- 7:47Speaker 4: You're a bit different because you're you know, you're sort
- 7:49Speaker 4: of you know, starting out your life as a working man,
- 7:52Speaker 4: so you probably broke and fifty bucks makes more sense
- 7:55Speaker 4: for you, but not for someone like Jase who's rolling
- 7:57Speaker 4: around and dog squad money. I fell up every time
- 8:00Speaker 4: I go to the petrol station.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a big board at the top, and you
- 8:03Speaker 2: can still afford stas.
- 8:06Speaker 4: All the way to the top.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Brother, Yeah, okay, Just I'll be interested in other people's
- 8:12Speaker 2: fueling philosophies then, because I do the fifty bat but
- 8:16Speaker 2: it's financially dependent, I'm sure as well.
- 8:18Speaker 4: Does she not know that prior to this occasion she
- 8:21Speaker 4: wanted to learn things about each other, isn't it?
- 8:23Speaker 2: Yeah? It was a stony silence for the next hour
- 8:26Speaker 2: in the car is empty?
- 8:28Speaker 1: Emt the Hood Aching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Keyzy.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy US.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Indeed, Tom Pitty and the Heartbreakers there on the Radio
- 8:40Speaker 2: Hodarchy Big Show this Tuesday afternoon, twenty five minutes past
- 8:43Speaker 2: four o'clock. Any texts here on three four eight three
- 8:47Speaker 2: peg mogi re that's fueling philosophy.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Well, you've probably got a couple of you heavy PAGs.
- 8:54Speaker 2: On y exclude.
- 8:59Speaker 4: You didn't exclude me first, and then you did.
- 9:01Speaker 5: Jack says, fill up fully just in case you have
- 9:03Speaker 5: to travel to Huntly the next day.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Oh, you never know.
- 9:05Speaker 4: That's great advice.
- 9:06Speaker 5: This is some serious vanilla radio all the up to
- 9:09Speaker 5: and include. I don't know what that means if you're
- 9:11Speaker 5: not using ninety eight octane. This conversation is for accountants.
- 9:14Speaker 4: I don't know what that means.
- 9:15Speaker 3: Yeah, neither do I cool though diesel every time?
- 9:19Speaker 2: Man?
- 9:20Speaker 4: What in the mesder exceler Yeah?
- 9:21Speaker 3: All right, just pump it full of diesel.
- 9:24Speaker 4: Backs.
- 9:24Speaker 5: See this person says, you're a genius who's saving the
- 9:26Speaker 5: planet because less gas equals less weight, more fuel efficient.
- 9:29Speaker 3: Thank you, Yes, that's what that was my philosophy.
- 9:32Speaker 4: But ultimately, what do you get you? What do you
- 9:33Speaker 4: save yourself? About thirty cents? But you have to spend
- 9:36Speaker 4: another do another trip to the server.
- 9:38Speaker 2: You know. I genuinely had a friend actually that would
- 9:41Speaker 2: not fill up his tank because it was too heavy,
- 9:42Speaker 2: and he reconcid, you burn more gas.
- 9:44Speaker 4: Yeah it that way. Well, at least you had a reason,
- 9:47Speaker 4: whereas you're just sort of felling on what you're doing
- 9:49Speaker 4: just an eardiot.
- 9:49Speaker 2: Hey. I don't know if you fellows were listening to
- 9:52Speaker 2: the news just before, but some controversy therey the Commonwealth Games.
- 9:58Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right, of course, the Glasgow Commonwealth Games. There
- 10:02Speaker 4: what they are, that's that's coming up, that's in Scotland. Huh,
- 10:09Speaker 4: that's coming up in twenty twenty six. And that was
- 10:12Speaker 4: relocated there after Victoria's withdrawers host Victoria of course being
- 10:17Speaker 4: part of Australia, and they said, actually not keen. So
- 10:21Speaker 4: I've cut a few sports from this next run. Hockey gone.
- 10:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not so happy about that. Actually I quite
- 10:31Speaker 2: enjoy the hockey.
- 10:31Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, rugby seven's yeah, I can liver that. Cricket
- 10:38Speaker 4: I can only assume it's twenty twenty. Yeah, definitely cricket
- 10:41Speaker 4: should go the Yeah, that's right. Other sports to be
- 10:46Speaker 4: left out include diving.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I love my diving.
- 10:49Speaker 4: I don't think that's right. Yeah, I think that's right.
- 10:53Speaker 4: Although we're talking Commonwealth Games, so it's the standard going
- 10:56Speaker 4: to be so poor. They just think, look, let's just
- 10:58Speaker 4: let's just get rid of the bally flow competition.
- 11:01Speaker 2: It's going to be embarrassing, and.
- 11:02Speaker 4: We'll shift the focus over where the badminton's been cut.
- 11:06Speaker 2: I've got it about that. Yeah, the Black Cops do
- 11:09Speaker 2: really well the last time. Seriously, they always do me. Yeah, yeah.
- 11:13Speaker 4: Can I also say, and you're not going to be
- 11:15Speaker 4: heavy about this shows beach volleyball's gone. You're joking.
- 11:19Speaker 2: Oh that's me out. I mean, what's the point? I
- 11:23Speaker 2: mean who I mean? Come on you.
- 11:27Speaker 4: Seriously seriously, Mountain biking gone. I caliver that, rhythmic gymnastics gone,
- 11:34Speaker 4: you're joking. My feeling on that is about time.
- 11:39Speaker 2: I love the rhythm and gymnastics.
- 11:42Speaker 4: Well see hang on, squash is gone and table tennis
- 11:45Speaker 4: table tennis should be there.
- 11:47Speaker 2: Table tennis definitely, the table. I don't mind the squash
- 11:50Speaker 2: so much.
- 11:51Speaker 4: Now. What's what's also interesting about these Commonwealth Games is
- 11:55Speaker 4: that there are how many how many events do you
- 11:57Speaker 4: think that they're going to have this at this Commonwealth
- 12:00Speaker 4: Games which has been going forever. It's sort of the
- 12:03Speaker 4: I don't know if you call it the poor man's Olympics,
- 12:05Speaker 4: but certainly for people that can't win any medals at
- 12:07Speaker 4: the proper thing, they get to have a crack at this. Yeah,
- 12:10Speaker 4: how many events would you say?
- 12:11Speaker 2: Eighteen?
- 12:12Speaker 4: Ye're not bad? Ten right? Aka, It's almost like a
- 12:16Speaker 4: school sports event, but with less events, yes.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Less enjoyable events. Any. I can't believe they're counting the
- 12:22Speaker 2: beach volleyball.
- 12:23Speaker 4: They've got track cyclean weightlifting, lawn bowls, lawn bowls now.
- 12:29Speaker 4: I love the lawn balls, netball, artistic gymnastics, which is
- 12:33Speaker 4: different to the rhythmic judo and boxing, and three on
- 12:39Speaker 4: three basketball, which is an absolute abombination. Yes, of sports
- 12:44Speaker 4: and aberration.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Well, and it's the generic question too, do we need
- 12:48Speaker 2: the Commonwealth Games?
- 12:49Speaker 4: Thank you?
- 12:50Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 12:51Speaker 4: I would say we've got ten sports left to get
- 12:53Speaker 4: rid of. Yes. If we could just get it down
- 12:56Speaker 4: to beach volleyball and call that the Commonwealth Games, I
- 12:59Speaker 4: think we'd be onto a.
- 13:01Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Hod Ikey smashing pumpkins.
- 13:05Speaker 4: There on the radio.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Hold Ache Big Show this Tuesday afternoon. The time is
- 13:09Speaker 2: four thirty seven.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Good A question for you, the Woody Jay, Yes bad?
- 13:13Speaker 4: Or bowl first? Mate?
- 13:16Speaker 2: Well? I used to be a pretty high quality opening batsman,
- 13:21Speaker 2: so I'd always bowl first.
- 13:22Speaker 4: Sure, sure? Yeah, yeah, good what about you pokes? Huh
- 13:27Speaker 4: bat or bowl first? Betting sounds fun? Yeah? Okay, all right,
- 13:32Speaker 4: yeah good, hang on, what about you? Well, it depends
- 13:36Speaker 4: on the pitch, but you always check the pitch first
- 13:39Speaker 4: and then have a bat.
- 13:41Speaker 3: Well, yes, particularly when you're in Australia.
- 13:43Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 13:44Speaker 2: I used to do that. When I was captain of
- 13:46Speaker 2: the first eleven. I'd look at the pitch and you know,
- 13:49Speaker 2: I'd go, oh, it looks a good track.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Yeah, well, bowl first, that's right, you know what I mean.
- 13:54Speaker 4: Absolutely. When I was a cheerleader for the second eleven,
- 14:00Speaker 4: he's been sort of standing around by the opposition. They're
- 14:02Speaker 4: trying to get in their ears, you know what I mean. Yeah, right,
- 14:05Speaker 4: And of course they'd be distracted by my skirt and
- 14:08Speaker 4: all the boys, and I'd say, geez, she looks like
- 14:11Speaker 4: a yeah, she looks like a good day for a bowl. Yeah.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Idiots fell for it every time. Really. Oh yeah. And
- 14:17Speaker 4: then the lure of the legs, my friends, the lore
- 14:20Speaker 4: of the legs.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Give me an ee, give me Yeah.
- 14:25Speaker 4: I actually went to a I went to Dobson's High.
- 14:28Speaker 2: And yes, is that actually a place? Yeah?
- 14:33Speaker 4: Right, So I started off with give it, give me
- 14:35Speaker 4: a D you know, and that sort of thing and
- 14:38Speaker 4: just sort of go on, yeah, all of that, yeah,
- 14:44Speaker 4: same sort of thing, but we didn't have any chance
- 14:46Speaker 4: back then. There's really only that one. Give me a D, right,
- 14:50Speaker 4: you know, and then what would just start? Give me
- 14:53Speaker 4: a spell it all out? Ah right, spell Dobson.
- 14:59Speaker 2: You know listening post huh jeez fun hey Nellis is
- 15:03Speaker 2: speaking of cracket the Black Clash Fellas. Oh yeah, how exciting.
- 15:08Speaker 4: You're going to be a cheerleader at there, don't you mean? Yeah,
- 15:10Speaker 4: pretty keen.
- 15:11Speaker 5: I need to get some of those lasering vouches off
- 15:13Speaker 5: you first though.
- 15:14Speaker 4: Before on that note, the Yummy Boys cheerleading squad would
- 15:19Speaker 4: beat go absolutely gangbusters. You'd be the cheerleading squad and
- 15:22Speaker 4: you be call the Yummy Boys. I thought the Yummy
- 15:23Speaker 4: Boys were the DJs. I don't say that lasting as
- 15:26Speaker 4: long as the cheerleading squad.
- 15:28Speaker 6: Yeah true, ah true?
- 15:31Speaker 2: Hey, but the Black Class next.
- 15:32Speaker 6: Year January eighteen, yesterday Saturday.
- 15:37Speaker 3: It's going to be a hum dinger at Hagley over.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Chris Gale was the surprise selection for the rugby side
- 15:45Speaker 2: spirl It and let's let's hope he does a little
- 15:48Speaker 2: bit better than old Brian did Brian Mayer when he
- 15:51Speaker 2: came across, he was pretty steamed.
- 15:52Speaker 4: I think he had a tiny helmet, didn't he.
- 15:55Speaker 2: He seriously had a sort of hoidy j helmet and
- 15:58Speaker 2: just didn't fit his head.
- 15:59Speaker 4: Yeah, And in fact he got out first or second ball,
- 16:02Speaker 4: and then they changed the rules and kept him out
- 16:05Speaker 4: there and the hope that he get more runs. But
- 16:06Speaker 4: all he did, Punks was embarrassingmself.
- 16:08Speaker 2: Yeah, he humiliated himself pretty much. But if you want
- 16:12Speaker 2: to be a part of that punk, Sam, what do
- 16:14Speaker 2: they need to do?
- 16:14Speaker 5: Well, they can get tickets from anybody, can get tickets
- 16:17Speaker 5: from Blackclash, dot co, dot ed. It's an r A
- 16:19Speaker 5: teen event with limit. Oh that's the disyn with the
- 16:22Speaker 5: A s C and dB export Ultra zone which the
- 16:24Speaker 5: Hot Spring spar will be in front of him.
- 16:26Speaker 4: You're going to be apparently, And.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Can I just say on that front, that alone is
- 16:32Speaker 2: reason to go to see old Margie and his little
- 16:35Speaker 2: budgy smugglers in the Hot Spring Spa than you, because
- 16:39Speaker 2: he has been working hard on the board. It's going
- 16:41Speaker 2: to have a little tan on by the and he's
- 16:45Speaker 2: going to hot ass.
- 16:47Speaker 4: Yeah. And of course Keys is going to be there
- 16:49Speaker 4: as well. Met patty meat petty Nipples that he's running.
- 16:55Speaker 4: Yes there again you know value for money in terms
- 16:59Speaker 4: of costs there, you'd pay twenty thirty bucks alone just
- 17:04Speaker 4: with that at the at the Freak Show totally you would.
- 17:09Speaker 5: Well, the good thing about it is wherever you end
- 17:10Speaker 5: up sitting, even if you're not on the party zone,
- 17:13Speaker 5: you'll be able to see the burnt meat patties.
- 17:14Speaker 4: Well. The thing about the meet petty Nips is more
- 17:18Speaker 4: than see them, you can smell the bastard.
- 17:21Speaker 1: The Archy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy tune
- 17:25Speaker 1: in on radio.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Indeed, Black Sabbath there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 17:31Speaker 2: this Tuesday afternoon. I can smell that black pepper steak
- 17:35Speaker 2: pie in the air. Fright, the getting a bit salivaty.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Oh you know what I'm saying, Hey, NICs in a
- 17:44Speaker 2: great day in the Haughty j household. Our en suite
- 17:48Speaker 2: is complete. Wow, thank you resplendent. Can I say in Bayleaf?
- 17:57Speaker 4: Oh is that Baileaf?
- 17:59Speaker 2: Yes? Just it just really because we thought that can
- 18:02Speaker 2: we really have a kitchen that's Bayleaf and a bathroom
- 18:06Speaker 2: that's bay Leaf? But it's such a beautiful color, Bai Leaf.
- 18:10Speaker 4: I thought there would have been some in depth conversations
- 18:12Speaker 4: there is that Bayleaf.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, totally, Yes, that's good. But I'll tell you what.
- 18:17Speaker 2: There was one final humiliation for Howdy J. And there's
- 18:20Speaker 2: been many because as you know, fellas, I'm not very
- 18:23Speaker 2: good when it comes to dealing with trades, no, because
- 18:25Speaker 2: I don't know the chat, you know. And they asked
- 18:27Speaker 2: me questions about, you know, and I just say, I
- 18:30Speaker 2: don't know, man, I don't know, you know.
- 18:32Speaker 3: And they'll say, but do you want this or do
- 18:34Speaker 3: you want that?
- 18:35Speaker 4: In a god I reckon?
- 18:36Speaker 2: Oh whatever, you Reckon's best man. Yeah, you know, you
- 18:39Speaker 2: just go with what you think looks good, you know
- 18:41Speaker 2: what I mean. But anyway, I woke up this morning
- 18:45Speaker 2: and actually it hadn't been quite completed by this morning, right,
- 18:50Speaker 2: but it just needed the heated towel rail and something
- 18:53Speaker 2: else put in, nothing major, and my wife went to work.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Howdy J went about his business of having a coffee
- 19:00Speaker 2: and a drry and then I thought to myself, you know,
- 19:03Speaker 2: because I'm very regular, I'm going to do an absolute
- 19:07Speaker 2: steamer in my new one suite toilet. So I went
- 19:12Speaker 2: and did it and I don't know what, you know,
- 19:14Speaker 2: what I ate the night before or anything like that,
- 19:16Speaker 2: but it was a shocker. Oh, like I nearly needed
- 19:19Speaker 2: to have a shower after its a ka keazya. It
- 19:23Speaker 2: was one of the you know, one of those ones
- 19:25Speaker 2: where you go, what's wrong with me? Sure you know
- 19:27Speaker 2: what's what's going on in my body? That it produced
- 19:29Speaker 2: something like that. It was an atrocity three imperfect tubes
- 19:33Speaker 2: and it wasn't even tubes it was. But anyway, I
- 19:39Speaker 2: thought the guys were coming to finish it off. I
- 19:41Speaker 2: either heated a towel rail and I was a toilet
- 19:45Speaker 2: roll holder. That was the other thing because the guy
- 19:48Speaker 2: said to me, do you want me to put that
- 19:49Speaker 2: in for you?
- 19:50Speaker 4: And I said, you do, man, you don't really need one,
- 19:52Speaker 4: do you, because you're only having a couple of works here.
- 19:53Speaker 4: And the was it after your abomination?
- 19:56Speaker 3: It was actually it was a four wiper.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Actually, oh my god, how much for an abomination it was?
- 20:01Speaker 2: And I was like, whoa, that's not good. But anyway,
- 20:04Speaker 2: my dog starts barking and I'm like, oh my god.
- 20:08Speaker 4: Oh.
- 20:09Speaker 2: That was the other thing that needed to be put
- 20:10Speaker 2: in the fan. And so it was the electrician in
- 20:14Speaker 2: the builder and I went, oh, my god, that's right,
- 20:18Speaker 2: they're actually coming today.
- 20:19Speaker 3: I thought they were coming tomorrow.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Sure enough, the electrician and the builders turn up. Get ajs.
- 20:26Speaker 2: You go, yeah, good fellows, knowing that I left an
- 20:30Speaker 2: absolute atrocity in the in the bathroom there, and then
- 20:35Speaker 2: we had to do that thing where we all were
- 20:37Speaker 2: standing in the bathroom just discussing stuff, trying to pretend
- 20:41Speaker 2: like there wasn't an atrocity going on, you know what
- 20:44Speaker 2: I mean. Everyone was too embarrassed to say anything about it,
- 20:48Speaker 2: and so I was like, anyway, I leave you fellows to.
- 20:51Speaker 4: It and go out and just close the door.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Yeah, we were all standing in hoodie j philth but
- 20:58Speaker 2: she looks meant.
- 20:59Speaker 4: No, that's good and very bloody. I hope for you.
- 21:02Speaker 4: I hopefully you can get us out there. We won't
- 21:04Speaker 4: be able to christen it, obviously, but it'll be good
- 21:06Speaker 4: to get out there and have a few beers in
- 21:07Speaker 4: the bathroom there and sort of celebrate it.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Yeah. Wow, you can fill your but you're going to
- 21:11Speaker 2: have a share at my place anytime, mate.
- 21:13Speaker 4: I appreciate that.
- 21:14Speaker 2: No worries at all. Now, listen, coming up after five o'clock,
- 21:18Speaker 2: we asked you for your toy billboard ideas. Oh yeah,
- 21:21Speaker 2: because we're going to be speaking to management so far
- 21:23Speaker 2: us through on three four eight three. Also a big
- 21:28Speaker 2: show financial report, what's happening in the financial world.
- 21:31Speaker 5: Don't forget if you do text in your toy billboard
- 21:34Speaker 5: ideas for us to run up the flag pole. You
- 21:35Speaker 5: could score yourself a toy price pack. We've got heaps
- 21:38Speaker 5: of those to give away. That's worth getting amongst good stuff.
- 21:44Speaker 1: The whole king Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy.

- 22:02Speaker 2: giggle little thing. Keep your ears peeled for that. You
- 22:06Speaker 2: could win five hundred dollars care should I believe that's correct?

- 22:25Speaker 2: barst had paid for it.
- 22:26Speaker 4: Yeah, you see that.
- 22:27Speaker 2: One great thing about working in a radio station is
- 22:30Speaker 2: often you get the opportunity of getting free tickets. I mean,
- 22:32Speaker 2: it's not why I do it, mod No, but there's
- 22:35Speaker 2: always that possibility. Because my wife actually said to me.
- 22:40Speaker 4: What'd you say?
- 22:42Speaker 2: She said, MA, any chance of getting tickets to Tommy York?
- 22:47Speaker 2: And I said, you leave it with me, darling. I
- 22:49Speaker 2: like to play the big shot. Probably could.
- 22:53Speaker 3: I'll see how I go, you know what I mean?
- 22:54Speaker 2: And usually I don't get any tickets and that she
- 22:58Speaker 2: gets really pissed off of me because I or we
- 23:00Speaker 2: should have just paid for.
- 23:01Speaker 3: Something gone sold out.
- 23:03Speaker 2: Yeah, but I did get some free ones this time,
- 23:06Speaker 2: and she is stoked Old Hoidy j and the good
- 23:10Speaker 2: books at the moment, I can tell you that much. Hey,
- 23:12Speaker 2: now listen, coming up, we're going to be speaking to
- 23:14Speaker 2: two management. Oh yeah, so you've got to fire through
- 23:18Speaker 2: right now on three four eight three your two E billboard.
- 23:21Speaker 4: That's right, and we're going to We're going to call
- 23:24Speaker 4: two he give them a bell and run a few
- 23:27Speaker 4: things up the flagpipe flag, pile down the pipeline and yes,
- 23:32Speaker 4: sort of get a few words in the writer years.
- 23:34Speaker 2: I just want people to know that we're quite tight
- 23:38Speaker 2: with Towe management. Oh yeah, I mean we'll share a
- 23:40Speaker 2: towy with them, you know what I mean. And so
- 23:43Speaker 2: when you're in that sort of everyone's in a good
- 23:46Speaker 2: you know space, he one's having a good time, you
- 23:48Speaker 2: can often slip a few things through in terms of ideas,
- 23:52Speaker 2: and this punter on three four eight three set through
- 23:55Speaker 2: this great idea. What do you think about that? Then
- 23:58Speaker 2: they publish it and you become million millionaires. Yeah, it's
- 24:02Speaker 2: worth your while absolutely all right parts, Yeah, that's okay
- 24:06Speaker 2: with me.
- 24:07Speaker 4: I'm exact.
- 24:07Speaker 3: In the meantime, He's Temple of the Dome.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:10Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hidarchy.

- 24:24Speaker 2: as you'll have surmised, our show was sponsored by Twoey
- 24:28Speaker 2: Yes and get it in in celebration I guess of
- 24:33Speaker 2: toy bringing back their famous billboards. So we've been putting
- 24:36Speaker 2: it to the punters on three four eight three. Give
- 24:38Speaker 2: us an idea for a billboard and we'll take it
- 24:41Speaker 2: straight to management. See what they say.
- 24:43Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly right. But what was seemed to be happening
- 24:46Speaker 4: was something was happening between the being texted into us
- 24:50Speaker 4: here at the big show and us circling a few
- 24:53Speaker 4: and then passing them on to Pugs. Yes, so that
- 24:55Speaker 4: was as far up the poll as it was gone.
- 24:57Speaker 4: It wasn't getting much further up the ladder than that.
- 25:00Speaker 4: Hang on. So I've been in touch Jase, you and

- 26:01Speaker 5: Well.

- 27:25Speaker 2: Show this Tuesday afternoon. The time is twenty three minutes
- 27:28Speaker 2: past five o'clock. You know, I think, Magi, there's a
- 27:32Speaker 2: perception out there about old Hoidy J. That he's old
- 27:36Speaker 2: money Bucks Hoody.
- 27:37Speaker 4: J money Bucks, a money back money bucks you know, wow,
- 27:42Speaker 4: just that money bags.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Oh yeah, money bags and funny bags. Where I came from,
- 27:48Speaker 2: we called it money bucks. Oh yeah, money bucks. You know,
- 27:52Speaker 2: someone that's got a heap of cash and been banging
- 27:55Speaker 2: on about my new own sweet and.
- 27:57Speaker 4: People must he's so yeah.
- 28:01Speaker 2: You know what I mean?
- 28:02Speaker 3: You know, and the dog squad money obviously not but
- 28:08Speaker 3: then drama.
- 28:10Speaker 2: But I want people to know that I've been in
- 28:13Speaker 2: Struggles Street for many, many decades. Old Hoidy Jay was
- 28:17Speaker 2: in Struggles Street and.
- 28:18Speaker 3: I know, and you know, Mode, I know that a lot.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Of people up there are struggling financially. That's true, and
- 28:24Speaker 2: so we thought it might be a really nice idea
- 28:27Speaker 2: to offer our financial advice. Has experienced Men of the
- 28:32Speaker 2: World with the Big Show Financial Report.
- 28:35Speaker 4: By GDP Money Confist, Rip the Bastards Off, Hdge Fun
- 28:40Speaker 4: Food Staff Stocks, Exchange Beat Corn Profits, Hedge, Fan Baby Stocks,
- 28:47Speaker 4: the Financial Report with the Big Shoe.
- 28:52Speaker 3: Wow, just a little update on my portfolio.
- 28:55Speaker 2: My she is ease. Yeah, I'm about at the front parts.
- 29:01Speaker 4: For God's sake, Dace.
- 29:03Speaker 2: I'm about forty five buck up holy Hecker from when
- 29:08Speaker 2: from last week?
- 29:10Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 29:10Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's pretty good a field.
- 29:12Speaker 4: It's not bad, man, it's not bad.
- 29:13Speaker 2: But I realize that a lot of people maybe don't
- 29:16Speaker 2: have that extra money to invest in chareses and stuff.
- 29:19Speaker 2: The key to investment people ask me, they come up
- 29:22Speaker 2: to me on the street quite often, and you know,
- 29:23Speaker 2: the supermark and they say, do.
- 29:26Speaker 3: Your fly up and what's the key to investment?
- 29:29Speaker 2: And the key to investment is future looking and thinking
- 29:33Speaker 2: about what people might need in the future, a need
- 29:37Speaker 2: that you may be able to fulfill somehow. Now, sure,
- 29:41Speaker 2: there's been a lot of scientific studies going on out
- 29:43Speaker 2: there at the moment because of the things that we're
- 29:46Speaker 2: eating and the things that we're using on our bodies
- 29:49Speaker 2: that heal loss is going to be a significant problem
- 29:54Speaker 2: in the future.
- 29:55Speaker 4: Wow.
- 29:56Speaker 2: So you think about that and you go okay, so
- 29:59Speaker 2: hear loss is going to be a big problem in
- 30:00Speaker 2: the future. What then should I start investing in. I immediately
- 30:05Speaker 2: think as an investor hair hats or just hat, just hats?
- 30:10Speaker 2: Yeah you American?
- 30:12Speaker 4: Yes?
- 30:13Speaker 2: For example?
- 30:14Speaker 4: What's American? So wait for your downstairs yeah?
- 30:18Speaker 2: Wow, yeah, it's basically you and you can get them
- 30:20Speaker 2: in all sorts of funky shapes. I'm amazed you haven't
- 30:23Speaker 2: come across American pugs. So, and that's what I mean
- 30:31Speaker 2: about looking at you. So your hair hats, your hats,
- 30:34Speaker 2: your Americans for example, So i'd be getting into.
- 30:37Speaker 4: That right now. That's bloody good mate. Another way that
- 30:40Speaker 4: you can sort of get more bang for your back
- 30:43Speaker 4: is not just by investing available funds into, like you say,
- 30:47Speaker 4: your hair hats, your downstairs sort of orientated products. Also
- 30:52Speaker 4: saving a dollar because a penny earned as a penny
- 30:56Speaker 4: saved and a penny saves is a penny not spent?
- 30:58Speaker 4: Have you had there? One? Pugs one right there down
- 31:00Speaker 4: with your brother? Yea. So one thing I'm trying to
- 31:03Speaker 4: do at the moment. We'll see how it goes. Giving
- 31:04Speaker 4: up the piss, all right, So that'll save me five
- 31:07Speaker 4: to nine hundred dollars per week. Yeah, per week. Tobacco
- 31:11Speaker 4: two hundred bucks for a packet of that. So that's
- 31:12Speaker 4: a good saving there. So it's three hundred bucks a
- 31:14Speaker 4: week I'll be saving. It's twelve hundred so far. Subscriptions
- 31:18Speaker 4: your Netflix, yes, what are the other ones I've got?
- 31:21Speaker 4: The Your Amazon, your Disney, your Kneon, you only fans
- 31:24Speaker 4: all of those gone? Yes, it's a saving of about
- 31:28Speaker 4: for three hundred bucks a month. And then I'm going
- 31:31Speaker 4: to stop getting a haircuts. A haircut cost me forty
- 31:33Speaker 4: eight bucks a pop. I have to get a haircut
- 31:35Speaker 4: every two weeks. How much are you're here? If I
- 31:36Speaker 4: stop doing that every week, If I just shaved my
- 31:39Speaker 4: head every week with the clippers that I've got at home,
- 31:43Speaker 4: I've just saved myself twenty five bucks a week.
- 31:45Speaker 2: Seriously, Margie, that's bloody great, thanks man. What about your
- 31:49Speaker 2: bulloss are you still going to get those lasers.
- 31:51Speaker 4: Well, those are pre paid for the laser balls, So
- 31:55Speaker 4: I've got four more, four more laser balls to go
- 31:58Speaker 4: and then I should be pretty It's pretty sweet.
- 32:01Speaker 2: And to really accentuate your point there about giving stuff up, Yes,
- 32:05Speaker 2: if I cut my durry consumption in half per week,
- 32:10Speaker 2: I would say fifteen hundred dollars.
- 32:13Speaker 4: Yeah, you know what I mean, and you don't.
- 32:15Speaker 2: You don't think about it. For example, would give up
- 32:18Speaker 2: cheese balls for a week, Yes, there's another seven fitty.
- 32:23Speaker 6: Can I say you can also save some money for
- 32:25Speaker 6: using your connies?
- 32:27Speaker 2: Oh?
- 32:28Speaker 4: Pegsar sucks. Just that's how I would do it.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Oh with a Wary Big Show podcast ever clear, They're
- 32:42Speaker 1: on the radio.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Hold Larky Big Show this Tuesday afternoon.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Just a very quick question before we get into our
- 32:47Speaker 2: mates at Diamonds on Richmond. Do you wrapps on your
- 32:50Speaker 2: phone just even just randomly rearrange themselves? Oh? Yeah, okay,
- 32:54Speaker 2: good to know. I thought it might be just a
- 32:55Speaker 2: hoody jar. It happens all the time. Sometimes when I.
- 32:58Speaker 3: Got my screen and I go, why is it like
- 32:59Speaker 3: that now?
- 33:00Speaker 4: And then you do that? Oftentimes what it is this
- 33:03Speaker 4: does happen to me a lot, and I think had
- 33:04Speaker 4: on but that was over there, that was over there,
- 33:06Speaker 4: that was over there, and then I realized I'm holding
- 33:07Speaker 4: the phone upside down. It's that what it is?
- 33:11Speaker 2: Just for it. Just another very quick question before we
- 33:12Speaker 2: get into our mates from Diamonds on Richmond. Do you
- 33:15Speaker 2: guys take a lot of random photos? Or random is
- 33:21Speaker 2: not the word? What's the word I'm looking for here?
- 33:25Speaker 2: You're taking photos with their accidental Yeah, photos, thank you, Magi.
- 33:29Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, I do take my fear sure, at least
- 33:31Speaker 4: that's what I say when I get caught with them.
- 33:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I K yeah good.
- 33:34Speaker 4: I don't know how I took that one, pug Son Pugs.
- 33:37Speaker 4: I don't know how that one on my phone?
- 33:39Speaker 2: Oh yeah yeah, yeah yeah, I don't know where about that?
- 33:42Speaker 4: Mate? What's that about? He fell as Diamonds on Richmond.
- 33:45Speaker 2: Yeah, totally man. Now, massive developments since I've been away.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Oh yeah, because they had a ten thousand dollars engagement
- 33:53Speaker 2: rang to give away. Apparently you're saying now Mogg, it's
- 33:56Speaker 2: worth ten million.
- 33:57Speaker 4: It's plummet down eight buck, I said, hate bucks.
- 34:02Speaker 6: Jeez, it's easy if we wanted to get in today.
- 34:04Speaker 4: But what they're saying, is it's ten thousand dollars and
- 34:06Speaker 4: I guess what you know? The winner can say, Look,
- 34:09Speaker 4: it's valued at ten thousand dollars, and it has been
- 34:11Speaker 4: at some stage. Yes, it's also been valued at ten million,
- 34:15Speaker 4: and today eight eight dollars.
- 34:17Speaker 3: Yeah, so split the difference.
- 34:19Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a bloody, beautiful, bloody bloody ring.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Absolutely, you know. And in my case, as I've previously said,
- 34:27Speaker 2: it took me a long time to get around to
- 34:29Speaker 2: bending the knee for my beloved and some people have
- 34:32Speaker 2: very cut. You were a year most a year m parks.
- 34:35Speaker 2: You're still fighting the good fight. Yeah, fighting, Yeah, you're
- 34:40Speaker 2: out there, and good luck to your young feller. And
- 34:45Speaker 2: it very is from person to person. This should be
- 34:48Speaker 2: an amazing incentive for you to to bend the knee.
- 34:51Speaker 4: Can I just say, like you might be in a
- 34:53Speaker 4: relationship in thingself, is this person the one sure I
- 34:57Speaker 4: feel like a ring of of this magnitude, of this
- 35:01Speaker 4: quality I don't valued at ten thousand dollars at some
- 35:04Speaker 4: point should be able to paper over any cracks that
- 35:08Speaker 4: you might have in that relationship, should be able to
- 35:10Speaker 4: fix any of the issues, the fundamental underlying issues that
- 35:13Speaker 4: you feel that you may have into the competition, win
- 35:17Speaker 4: the ring, change your life, agreed, Magie.
- 35:20Speaker 2: I mean you might be struggling, you might have doubts,
- 35:24Speaker 2: you know, you might have all sorts of things going on.
- 35:26Speaker 2: But then yeah, ten thousand dollars ring evening, sweet as have.

- 35:51Speaker 4: J Yeah, Pine of Gin, that's a classic.
- 36:02Speaker 5: My idea is to go in for a dinner on
- 36:03Speaker 5: an ordinary day when all the locals are there at
- 36:05Speaker 5: a certain time. All the locals go outside, leaving us
- 36:08Speaker 5: alone in the bar. I get down on one knee
- 36:10Speaker 5: and propose. Hopefully she says yes.
- 36:12Speaker 4: Then our band Hardy j On Sacks, we've had this one.
- 36:16Speaker 6: Keezy on drums and Moggi on vocals.
- 36:21Speaker 4: Probably had this one. I remember I was in a band. Yeah,
- 36:24Speaker 4: I thought it was a far fetched that all the
- 36:26Speaker 4: locals were going to leave. You could thank the pantsman
- 36:29Speaker 4: for that. So you want to move on? People would
- 36:34Speaker 4: have heard it.
- 36:35Speaker 5: Keezy on drums, Moggi on vocals, come out and serenade
- 36:38Speaker 5: us with bon Jovi's bit of roses. That's right, perfect, amazing.
- 36:42Speaker 5: Then we all drink responsible amounts and durry up a
- 36:45Speaker 5: storm with the locals and our special band.
- 36:48Speaker 4: Thanks mate, Yeah, Treash would love that. Tresh would yeah,
- 36:51Speaker 4: I mean she wouldn't remember a thing. Got any more

- 37:24Speaker 2: hey not listen to the podcast out show now. That's
- 37:27Speaker 2: it's basically what we do as a warm up to
- 37:29Speaker 2: the main show. It's a podcast we make and send
- 37:32Speaker 2: out into the ether every day, or more specifically Pug
- 37:35Speaker 2: Sun does, and every now and then, every now and
- 37:40Speaker 2: then we'll have a slightly serious one we do, you know,
- 37:42Speaker 2: where we talk about stuff that's affecting us and so forth.
- 37:46Speaker 3: And today was one of those, wasn't it enough?
- 37:48Speaker 2: It was? Yeah.
- 37:49Speaker 4: I was sort of opening up about just some stresses
- 37:52Speaker 4: and pressures on under at the moment and just buckling
- 37:54Speaker 4: under them. Normally I don't really care, but every now
- 37:56Speaker 4: and then it gets me down. So I had a
- 37:58Speaker 4: moan today and it probably serving something like this, And
- 38:04Speaker 4: I'm doing this gym stuff and I'm actually getting pretty
- 38:06Speaker 4: much the same results as I was last year when
- 38:08Speaker 4: I drank no piss at all. Now I found out
- 38:10Speaker 4: I can actually drink person get the same results. It's
- 38:12Speaker 4: not there was the laugh we hear. That was the
- 38:20Speaker 4: soul laugh that we had the whole.

- 38:55Speaker 4: That's pretty good. Uh.
- 38:58Speaker 3: Incidentally, get the lass end of a corgy.
- 39:05Speaker 2: Genuine question? Sure, where have you done a sticky beef lately?
- 39:09Speaker 5: Now?
- 39:10Speaker 4: Last night I did some sticky chicken, did you.
- 39:12Speaker 5: Yeah? Yeah, a little sticky chicken. I marinated it there
- 39:15Speaker 5: with a lot of the same stuff I married for that. No,
- 39:19Speaker 5: a lot of it's just off the dome these days,
- 39:20Speaker 5: with what I've got in the pantry. That so you
- 39:23Speaker 5: look at enough recipes and you go okay, well generally
- 39:25Speaker 5: they're checking the stuff together with this kind of food.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you love your sticky stuff, don't you?

- 39:57Speaker 4: If I asparagus, I'll get it. I don't get it otherwise,
- 40:00Speaker 4: God I ate.

- 40:03Speaker 3: I was like, what's going on there?
- 40:04Speaker 4: When I was going with I like some spader goose, Yeah,
- 40:06Speaker 4: I love it.
- 40:07Speaker 3: A bit of a bit of butter, a bit of
- 40:09Speaker 3: crack pepper, a lemon.
- 40:10Speaker 4: See that's good.
- 40:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:11Speaker 4: I normally go lime juice, a little bit of olive oil,
- 40:15Speaker 4: a little bit of bols, a little bit of chopped
- 40:19Speaker 4: me out, some garlic in that bastard and across a
- 40:22Speaker 4: yeah nice, a little bit of garlllet.
- 40:30Speaker 5: Sorry chop here smoked chicken, smoked beans and a six
- 40:36Speaker 5: pack of Cooper's Sparkling Ale car pie.
- 40:40Speaker 4: Smoked chicken smoke smoke, oh yeah, which is kind of
- 40:45Speaker 4: a Mexican way of doing a bean, Yes, and a
- 40:48Speaker 4: six pack of Bruce Kies, a six pack.
- 40:50Speaker 6: Of Sparkling Ale.
- 40:53Speaker 2: I wonder for how many? For how many New Zealand
- 40:58Speaker 2: men their main dieters bear is he's and meat? Well?
- 41:01Speaker 4: The thing about heaven a beer? What is that if
- 41:03Speaker 4: you get a few and you you stop being hungry?
- 41:05Speaker 4: Is that what happens? What do you get more hungry?
- 41:08Speaker 4: I can't remember, just a balance. Once I got a
- 41:11Speaker 4: few in me, I'm like, I'm all good foods.
- 41:14Speaker 6: Fine, yeah, mate, get a Fellas Jackson here in the way.
- 41:19Speaker 4: Couple Jack Holy helmet the artist.
- 41:24Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, having an open top steak sandwich tonight with
- 41:27Speaker 5: a homemade chili relish.
- 41:31Speaker 4: Open top steak sandwich.
- 41:33Speaker 6: What absolute well, you don't like an excuse.
- 41:40Speaker 2: An open tops?
- 41:41Speaker 6: What's with an open top steak sandwich?
- 41:44Speaker 4: Was delicious? Steak on a bit of bread, steak on toast.
- 41:49Speaker 5: Jackson hasn't gone into detail about the other furnishings he's
- 41:52Speaker 5: putting on the open top.
- 41:53Speaker 6: Steak sandwich, but his homemade some chili relish.
- 42:00Speaker 1: They Big Show podcast is indeed the Cranberry's there on
- 42:04Speaker 1: the radio Darchy Big Show this Tuesday evening.
- 42:08Speaker 3: But let's have some TV chat, why not?
- 42:12Speaker 2: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 42:18Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, that's how we do it. Last night I
- 42:34Speaker 4: watched maybe half.
- 42:35Speaker 7: Of movie you say, seinfoult, I'm tempting now and it's
- 42:45Speaker 7: a movie called Brothers.
- 42:47Speaker 4: I think it's on Amazon Prime. It's got got Peter
- 42:51Speaker 4: Dinkling in it, yes, from Game of Thrones. He's a
- 42:56Speaker 4: Stallion and his brother Josh Brolin.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Yes.
- 43:01Speaker 4: It also magnificent. It just came out. I think it
- 43:03Speaker 4: only came out yesterday anyway. They played two criminal twin brothers,
- 43:07Speaker 4: one who is trying to reform. They embark on a
- 43:10Speaker 4: dangerous heighst road trip, facing legal troubles, gunfights, and family driver.
- 43:15Speaker 4: They most reconcile their differences before their mission leads to
- 43:18Speaker 4: self destruction. The best thing about it is it's ninety
- 43:21Speaker 4: minutes long. The other good thing about it is that
- 43:24Speaker 4: the cast is very good wolsh It's got Brendan Fraser
- 43:29Speaker 4: and Glenn Close sort of round out the league cast there,
- 43:33Speaker 4: and it is garbage. I'll let you know how the
- 43:36Speaker 4: rest of it goes, except for one scene where Josh
- 43:41Speaker 4: Brolin has a scene with some kind of a gorilla right,
- 43:44Speaker 4: and that did make me laugh. But it's harder to
- 43:48Speaker 4: be made to laugh when the previous sort of the
- 43:50Speaker 4: prior forty minutes has just been garbage. You know. The
- 43:52Speaker 4: scene in isolation is very good, yes, but yeah, it
- 43:57Speaker 4: just doesn't quite sort of like a fairly brother's dumb
- 43:59Speaker 4: and Marie Me, myself and Irene attempt but just doesn't quite.
- 44:03Speaker 4: It's a shame. Yeah.
- 44:05Speaker 3: Yeah, Because I'm a big fan of Dinkler.
- 44:08Speaker 4: He's very good. And the thing I don't like about
- 44:10Speaker 4: Brolin is he's sort of a do for his plays
- 44:12Speaker 4: it straight, but he's a very cool he's a very
- 44:14Speaker 4: cool man naturally. Ye, And he's playing against type here
- 44:18Speaker 4: and it doesn't work for me. It devastated me.
- 44:21Speaker 3: I watched a movie called The Bellco Experiment.
- 44:25Speaker 2: What a piece of shit?
- 44:27Speaker 4: Belco being the phone company? Yes, yeah, cool.
- 44:31Speaker 2: So it's basically the story of this company that's set
- 44:35Speaker 2: in South their companies in South America, but it's all
- 44:38Speaker 2: Americans in the company, right, right, And it seems idyllic,
- 44:42Speaker 2: and all of a sudden things turn very bad. They're
- 44:45Speaker 2: locked in their workspace and there's a sort of what
- 44:50Speaker 2: would you call it a voice that's telling them to
- 44:54Speaker 2: kill each other basically, and they are is this some
- 44:57Speaker 2: sort of joke? What's going on? But they realize they
- 44:59Speaker 2: can't actually escape, right, And they all realize that when
- 45:02Speaker 2: they joined the company, they got a little chip inserted
- 45:05Speaker 2: in their heads. I forgot about it, yeah, And so
- 45:09Speaker 2: they're going this is just all a joke. But the
- 45:12Speaker 2: voice initially starts off and says, within the next thirty minutes,
- 45:15Speaker 2: you need to kill two people in order to survive, right,
- 45:18Speaker 2: And everyone goes yeah, good staff, good staff, and no
- 45:24Speaker 2: one kills anyone, obviously, and then all of a sudden
- 45:26Speaker 2: people's head start exploding, you know what I mean. And
- 45:30Speaker 2: so they're like, what though, and then one of them goes,
- 45:33Speaker 2: hang on those chips they put on our head. Wait
- 45:36Speaker 2: a minute, wait a minute.
- 45:38Speaker 4: Is there anybody of note in that movie?
- 45:40Speaker 5: No?
- 45:40Speaker 4: Not really, And what do you watch it on?
- 45:43Speaker 2: It was Prime and it's just one of those and
- 45:46Speaker 2: they realized, actually, we have to do what the voice
- 45:48Speaker 2: is or we're going to just get blown up.
- 45:50Speaker 4: Yeah, stupid, don't bother, no buzzies. Ah, half a busy.
- 46:00Speaker 4: A film is funnier at the start, it gets worse.
- 46:02Speaker 4: So yeah, that might come down. Is that? Good brothers? Brothers?
- 46:06Speaker 3: I feel like I've seen it. But anyway, great staff, mate.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Here's a bit of aerosmith for you, The Hdarky Big
- 46:13Speaker 1: Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisy.
- 46:17Speaker 2: Food Fighters there on the radio Hodache Big Show this
- 46:20Speaker 2: Tuesday evening, and I'll tell you what what a great
- 46:22Speaker 2: tune that was. Speaking of great tunes, I'm very excited
- 46:27Speaker 2: about this Friday and Saturday for one of my heroes
- 46:31Speaker 2: of all times.
- 46:32Speaker 3: I'm York from Radiohead.
- 46:36Speaker 2: I'm going to the gig on sat Day, so as
- 46:38Speaker 2: pugsn Yeah, you're going on the Friday Friday.
- 46:42Speaker 4: Yeah, I made the era of being a fan, and
- 46:45Speaker 4: I bought tickets months ago. Yes, And then of course
- 46:48Speaker 4: this week Hodagg you said, Hey, anyone wanted you free
- 46:50Speaker 4: tickets for the satellite show, so now too. Notts in
- 46:53Speaker 4: a row might be a bit much. Sure, anyway, I'll
- 46:56Speaker 4: be there and I'm pretty excited about it. Have you
- 46:59Speaker 4: heard his new album?
- 47:00Speaker 2: Yes?
- 47:01Speaker 4: I have? Have you?
- 47:02Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 47:03Speaker 3: No, I say no, I have I have?
- 47:05Speaker 4: Yeah, what's your favorite song?
- 47:07Speaker 2: I'm not good with song titles.
- 47:10Speaker 4: One thing you liked about it, Jason, but I.
- 47:15Speaker 3: Am a big fan of his. Well, what is his
- 47:17Speaker 3: latest album called?
- 47:18Speaker 4: I would clue.
- 47:21Speaker 2: I have actually listened to parts of it. Well.
- 47:25Speaker 4: Of course I ran into Tom York at the Cordu Lounge,
- 47:27Speaker 4: so we're quite close. Yes now, And I'll retell the
- 47:31Speaker 4: story only because you went here when we told it,
- 47:33Speaker 4: even though I know you love listening to the podcast.
- 47:36Speaker 4: And that was that I was walking along on my
- 47:38Speaker 4: phone and the Cordy Lounge and I looked up and
- 47:40Speaker 4: I saw it out of the corner of my eye.
- 47:42Speaker 4: But heading towards me was a short man, almost like
- 47:46Speaker 4: a liprocorn, the little hat on and all of that
- 47:49Speaker 4: carry on. And he had a crutch in his right
- 47:51Speaker 4: arm and was sort of wobbling along from side to side,
- 47:53Speaker 4: not that there's anything wrong with that, pigs And in
- 47:56Speaker 4: his left hand he was carrying a sorcerer and on
- 47:58Speaker 4: the saucer was a flat white and the flat white
- 48:01Speaker 4: was spilling over the sides of the cup, right, And
- 48:03Speaker 4: I said, oh, you're a good man, you want a hand,
- 48:06Speaker 4: and you know, thinking i'd help him out, and he goes,
- 48:08Speaker 4: piss off, piss off, right, and it was Tom York. Wow,
- 48:15Speaker 4: it was Tom York. Yeah, And I thought, you jumped
- 48:17Speaker 4: that little pray. I'm going to see you now. I thought,
- 48:23Speaker 4: let him, let him think he's head to win Man
- 48:25Speaker 4: and we'll see him in the moshpit on Friday there, Yeah,
- 48:28Speaker 4: the old c P.
- 48:30Speaker 5: We've actually got tickets to the Crush that show which
- 48:33Speaker 5: is tomorrow Wednesday at Wolfbrook Arena. And we also have

- 48:47Speaker 5: want all the gig details, hold.
- 48:49Speaker 4: A hold a stitch up. There isn't it Tom with
- 48:52Speaker 4: an H Yeah? It is really it was the only
- 48:54Speaker 4: time in the world with an H.

- 49:02Speaker 2: what time? About eight thirty?

- 49:34Speaker 2: I might just keep pushing on with the penguin see
- 49:36Speaker 2: how we go. I mean, it's one of those ones
- 49:38Speaker 2: where with Brothers there's no point watching it because it
- 49:42Speaker 2: is just garbage. Yeah, yeah, but I might do We'll
- 49:45Speaker 2: see you how we're going? Yeah, all right, I don't
