- 0:00[SPEAKER_02]: Hey friend, I'm Mike McCurray, this is Bible Track Deco's.
- 0:03[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so very much for taking of your time and joining me right here.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_02]: You know, have you ever really wrapped your mind around?
- 0:11[SPEAKER_02]: Have you ever taken the time to process the fact that we don't know when our time will come to an end on earth.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_02]: The Bible talks about in multiple occasions, but in one place it says, our life is but a vapor.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_02]: Peer for a little time and then vanishes away, it's gone.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_02]: never to be recovered.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_02]: Life is quick like that, isn't it?
- 0:33[SPEAKER_02]: Dear friend of my parents, I just got word not long ago or last month.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_02]: They passed tragically under and not unusual circumstances in accident.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_02]: Just something that happens it happens all the time.
- 0:46[SPEAKER_02]: We just don't hear about him as often and for this family, he was a very difficult thing near a holiday.
- 0:53[SPEAKER_02]: We don't know when our time will come.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_02]: And if we truly pause and realize that here we are at the end of the week listening, uh, we're going to, in just a moment, listen to Dr. Paul, explain and expound more on this very thought.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_02]: He's been preaching a message by way of the radio.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_02]: From 1995 titled, Are You afraid to die?
- 1:11[SPEAKER_02]: But here, he's going to masterfully draw the net as only he could.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_02]: He had been preaching for so long.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_02]: So good at it.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_02]: Not just an order, but he had the power of God about him, didn't he?
- 1:23[SPEAKER_02]: But I think about the fact,
- 1:25[SPEAKER_02]: that you and I, there is a possibility, a real possibility that we may never speak again.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_02]: because one or the other of us could step over in a glory.
- 1:37[SPEAKER_02]: There are certainly maybe some things in genetically and my family and all that that could lead to an early mortality if you will, but overall both sides of my family fairly healthy.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_02]: I don't have any massive preconditions of any kind.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_02]: I've had very few of any surgeries non-related to genetic abnormalities.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_02]: I don't tell you all that to just share my family history, but this statistics would say,
- 2:03[SPEAKER_02]: that I should live 30, 40, maybe in 45 or 50 more years, but that doesn't mean that God will say that.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_02]: We act as though we're going to live forever.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_02]: We sin as though we're going to live forever.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_02]: We disrespect God as if we'll never meet Him.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_02]: What a sad thing.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_02]: I hope that's on the case for you.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_02]: I hope you know where you're going and I hope you're ready to meet your maker.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_02]: know we talk about how day by day, and with each passing moment, we have to make sure there's nothing between our soul and the Savior.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_02]: I apologize for melding a few songs together there, but for me it's, it is moment by moment.
- 2:46[SPEAKER_02]: Not just minute by minute, there's so many times that I'll allow myself to spiral, and I'll not be living in a way that I should.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_02]: Even just in a brief moment,
- 2:57[SPEAKER_02]: And I pull myself up short, I ready to meet my maker.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_02]: I'm not talking about sinless perfection.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking about the fact that I want should the trumpet sound and we're called out of here.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_02]: Or if I just take my last breath, it could be today.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_02]: It could be this weekend.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_02]: I want to be ready to meet him.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_02]: As you listen, Dr. Paul now, would you keep that thought in the back of your mind and as we conclude in just a moment after I come back on, we'll talk a little bit more about that.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_02]: Listen, Dr. Paul, from 1995, just a year before he passed away, preaching this message, are you afraid to die?
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I started to pray because my brother told me to pray about everything, boy, I started to pray and I was peaking too.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I was praying, you know, and Harry went down the hill and the next thing, you know, his feet were dangling in the air.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_00]: And I could hear that, that pulley up there, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, go on.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: And he just kept right on, go on and go on and go on and go on and you know, finally his feet hit on the other side over here.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: And when he did, he turned around and he said, do us kids, not there he said,
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: I'd like to go and think.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's what Paul said.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: I went to paradise and came back.
- 4:15[SPEAKER_00]: Man, that was wonderful.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_00]: Open mind dining again.
- 4:18[SPEAKER_00]: I have a desire to depart.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: Well, then we kids had a goal.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I don't know if I went first or not, but I was one of the tallest ones, so I had to be one of the first ones, but I was also diskenyous.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_00]: I was just guinea in those days, I'd take four steps before my pack breaks was moved.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: Man, I was really skinny.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: My pajamas only had one stripe in them.
- 4:43[SPEAKER_00]: You know, if I stood sideways and schooled, the teacher called me absent.
- 4:47[SPEAKER_00]: But anyway,
- 4:50[SPEAKER_00]: I had to do it now.
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: We kids had to either that or we had to move out of the county because we'd had it with the other kids boy So I got up there and I got to hold it.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: I said that myself.
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: How do I know I get across?
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: I'm skinny.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have any weight.
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: I don't I can't get any up any momentum.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: How do I know I can get across there?
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: I might not be my maker.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: He's heavier than all that and I don't know the whole man you're talking about praying.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: I was praying
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: So I got up on the hill, and I grabbed the hole, that's for it rule, and I started to run, and I shut my eyes too.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: I was afraid I'd panic and drop.
- 5:23[SPEAKER_00]: So I shut my eyes, and the next thing you know, I was dangling in the air, and I didn't have any, and he saw the foot he's done to me.
- 5:31[SPEAKER_00]: They call it Tara Farmer.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I had run out of the firm.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: I got a little bit more of the Tara too about that time.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_00]: And, and this,
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: But you know, I could hear that little thing up there going, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it, click it
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: And when my feet hit the other side, I said to the kids up there who hadn't tried it yet, I said it is fun, I'd like to go again."
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: In a wonderful godlit, the apostle Paul gets down, that he spiritually leaves his body, go to third heaven in the paradise, and say, third heaven, yeah, the first heavens were the kids like the kites.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: The second heaven and the word of births life, the second heaven is where the astronauts flying around.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: They think they've gone out in the space and you've got so to get and the third heaven being on all as we're God is.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_00]: See?
- 6:37[SPEAKER_00]: And it's no wonderful God let Paul leave his body, go to paradise and come back, die, die, die, and come back and what does he say?
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: Want to go again.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: I want to go again.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: That's great.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: Man, that helps me.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't care much about this when I was young, but this show helps me at my age.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, man, this is wonderful.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, sir, post your light, his desire, I'd like to go again.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: And this last word, his determination, what was that?
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: He gives many people, Savior, as he could before he left.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_00]: Will it be anybody in heaven on kind of you?
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: I hope so.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: Would your boy or your daughter be in heaven on a kind of you?
- 7:22[SPEAKER_00]: Would your mother or your dad?
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: Would your brother or your sister?
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: Is there any neighbors who will be in heaven on a kind of you?
- 7:27[SPEAKER_00]: Do you have a determination to win somebody to help somebody get to heaven?
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: If you died tonight, oh man, you know, I think he also if you died without being born again.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: If you die tonight, without being born again, without receiving crisis your Lord and Savior, you wouldn't go to paradise.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: You say, well, what would I go?
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: Read it in the Luke, tells us, the rich man also died and lifted up his eyes in hell.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: And see if Abraham will follow up in Lazarus and use bosom and he cried and he says, Father Abraham, have mercy on me in St. Lazarus and he may dip the tip of his finger in water for I am tormented in his flame.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the rich man is in hell beyond all hope of ever being saved.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: These guys, memory, your memory's Lazarus, and your memory's in your brain, where was his brain at that time, buried some wars on earth?
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: his brain, his body is buried on earth, but wherever he is in hell, he's got enough brains to recognize Lazarus.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: And he cried.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: He first saw Abraham over there.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: He saw him.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's the same as he got eyes, isn't it?
- 8:47[SPEAKER_00]: But his eyes were buried on earth.
- 8:48[SPEAKER_00]: But if he could see in hell, that's the same as if he had eyes.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_00]: And he could hear, and his ears were buried on earth, but he could hear
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: Man, alive, if I didn't know for sure, I was saved tonight.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't wait, I wouldn't even wait.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: I'd just preach, you got too preaching.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_00]: I can't done this, I don't say somebody saw me how to get saved, I don't want to make sure I'm saved before I die.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_00]: And don't put it off.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know how long you're going to be around.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know how.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: What did you say?
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: I'm young yet.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: I got lots of time.
- 9:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: You're like a 17 year old boy up in Flint, Michigan.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: And right across the street with a preacher lived that I was holding me for his granddaddy.
- 9:28[SPEAKER_00]: They had a basketball court.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: And this boy's name was Dave.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: He's all their suit and baskets one day by himself.
- 9:34[SPEAKER_00]: And they saw him fall.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: And they ran over there.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: And he was dead.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_00]: Seventeen.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: 15 year old boy came into the gym class up at normal a few years ago died right on the gym floor He don't know how are you going to live?
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: A man out in Ohio said he wouldn't come to hear me preach even though he was invited
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: And on Thursday, he said to his wife, I'm going to watch the midnight show and she said, I'm going to bed and she went to bed and three o'clock in the morning.
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: She found out he hadn't come to bed and she went out there.
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: Find him sitting in a big easy chair with a television set in front of him, the program was over.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: The set was still turned on and she tried to wake him up, but he was dead.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: He didn't have time to come to the church.
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: Then at a time where he had to step Christ, didn't have time to get right with God, but he had to take time to die.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: and called a hell, and be there forever.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: Boy, say, did you know he was sick?
- 10:23[SPEAKER_00]: No, you know he was sick.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: Oh well, he must have been 90 years old.
- 10:26[SPEAKER_00]: He died that quick.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: No, he was 30 years old.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: 30 years old.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: Die, lost and doomed and damned forever and ever.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_00]: That's about a hedge and thread.
