- 0:02The quest to understand the nature of Consciousness.
- 0:06And who am I spams back through the past history of mankind?
- 0:12Some of the exercises undertaken by the ancient sages remain
- 0:16relevant in to the current day, as the mother illustrates in her
- 0:20example below which derives in its original form, from the
- 0:26wriggle Valley of the tight area upanishad, the general
- 0:31proposition put before the disciple was to seek thou to
- 0:35know that from which these creatures are born where by
- 0:39being born they live and to, which they go.
- 0:42Hands and enter again for that is the Eternal as the teaching
- 0:47progressed. The master also provided the
- 0:50Insight that concentration and thought or concentration of
- 0:54force is the Eternal. The Seeker first tried to
- 0:59understand by focusing on the body but soon realize this did
- 1:03not explain everything he continued and focused on the
- 1:07Life Energy but again it was insufficient.
- 1:11Next, he turned to mind and unlike Descartes he was not
- 1:16satisfied to stop there. This brought him to the
- 1:20knowledge Consciousness beyond the individual manifestation of
- 1:23mind and eventually to the Bliss of the Eternal, which transcends
- 1:29all Experiences of out of body, awareness of near-death
- 1:34experiences and the phenomenon known as quantum.
- 1:38Entanglement in physics cannot be explained by the idea that
- 1:43Consciousness is limited to individual bodies or forms and
- 1:47somehow is the result of random chemical interactions as some
- 1:52Western scientists of the past of held the mother observes
- 1:57quote. But first of all, one must know
- 2:00what ones. Is that is become conscious of
- 2:03one's Consciousness, localized it.
- 2:06And for this, there are many exercises, but one of them is
- 2:10very well known. It is to observe oneself and
- 2:13watch oneself living and then see whether it is really the
- 2:18body, which is the consciousness of the being, what one calls
- 2:22myself. And then when one has realized
- 2:25that it is not at all the body that the body expresses,
- 2:29something else than one. Searches in his impulses
- 2:33emotions to see whether it's that.
- 2:36And again, when finds out that it is not that and then one
- 2:41seeks in his thoughts, whether the thought is truly himself
- 2:45what he calls myself. And at the end of a very short
- 2:49time, one becomes aware. No, I am thinking there for
- 2:53myself is different from my thoughts.
- 2:56And so by Progressive eliminations, one succeeds in
- 3:00entering into contact with something something which gives
- 3:04you the impression of being. Yes, that's myself and this
- 3:09something I can move around. I can move it from my body to my
- 3:13vital to my mind. I can even if I am very how to
- 3:19put it very practiced in moving it, I can move it into other
- 3:23people. And it's in this way that I can
- 3:26identify myself with things and people I can with the help of my
- 3:31aspiration, make it come out of my human form, rise above
- 3:35towards regions, which are no longer this little body at all
- 3:39and what it contains. And so one begins to understand
- 3:44what one's Consciousness is, And it's after that, that one can
- 3:48say good. I show you night my
- 3:51Consciousness with my psychic being and shall leave it there
- 3:55so that it may be in harmony with the Divine and be able to
- 3:58surrender entirely to the divine Or else if by this exercise of
- 4:05rising above my faculties of thinking.
- 4:07And my intellect, I can enter a region of pure light, pure
- 4:11knowledge. Then one can put his
- 4:14Consciousness there and live like that.
- 4:18And a luminous Splendor which is above the physical form.
