I've been talking about how we struggle, how we have different things that happen to us.

And last Tuesday, we had appreciation, human appreciation with our special co-host, Nick.

He's back. It's been a week. And now he's back with another topic.

Hello, everyone, and welcome back. Nick is here, and without further ado,

he's taking over the podcast.

Thank you, Angel. As always, thanks for allowing me the time to speak to your audience.

So, yeah, so I wanted to talk about, you know, how do we react,

our reaction to the difficulties that we have in life and the frustrations that

we have and the hopelessness at times that we have.

You know, and even though we're believers in Christ,

There are times where you feel like what's going on.

Why all the thunderbolts are coming from all kinds of directions and you can't catch your breath.

You know, be it with relationships or the financial issues or things are breaking down in the house.

And, you know, it's like one after another. When you think it's over,

it starts up all over again.

And it's hard. I mean, it's very difficult.

What do you say?

How do you look at God in something like that?

What's going on? Give me a break already.

But how do you keep your faith when you're going through all of that?

You know, it's a broken world that we live in. and you wake up in the morning,

you just never know what's going to happen.

And something's coming out of

the clear blue sky. And your reaction to it is, well, I'm a good person.

I try to live my life the way God wanted me to live my life.

But come on, man, give me a break. I got to catch my breath here.

How do you get through that?

I'll tell you the way I get through it, Sheldon. I kind of take a step back,

And realize and think about what happened to Jesus.

I mean, his entire life, he knew what he was headed for, his entire life.

Especially through the last three years of his ministry, where he knew what

he was getting into. He knew what the end result was.

We don't know from day to day what we're getting into. How would you have liked

to know what's going to happen to you?

That's what gets me over it. Besides just speaking with him and just asking

for his help, I go back to that spot and say, wow.

This guy knew exactly how he was going to get the most brutal beating that anyone

ever had, and then he was going to get hung on a cross.

And he was going to have his friends betray him.

It brings me right back to reality and say, okay, you know what?

You got me. I know you got me.

And you won't let me fall flat on my face.

It may be a tough time, but you're trying to say something. You're trying to

make me a better a person.

Maybe you're trying to make my faith stronger, but you know what's best for me.

And whatever the end result is, I accept it. That's the way I get through it.

You know, I mean, the hardest thing, just think about what he had to go through.

He had two of his apostles basically turn their back on him.

One turns him in, And the other one, the other most valued one,

Peter, denies him three times.

So, you know, these are people who he brought along with them for his journey

that were going to take care of his ministry when he was gone.

And he had two people who basically turned his back on him. How does that make him feel?

But he knew that was going to happen. He knew that was going to happen.

So you know suffering it's

a it's common it's a common in human

experience we're all going to suffer but through that suffering if you take

it the right way there's going to be growth hope and joy in your life you're

going to become a better person for it because he's going to see to it that

you become a better person so when you go through when you go through times like this,

just have a conversation with God.

You know, it doesn't have to be anything formal. Just talk to Him.

Talk to Him like, you know, like you would talk to your best friend because

He is your best friend. And.

The expectation will be he's going to help.

It may not be in the way that you want it, but he knows best.

He knows why he's doing it.

And he's doing it to make you a better person and for you to become closer with him.

So I hope that that helps people who are struggling through whatever they're struggling through.

Don't give up. Do not give up on God. He didn't give up on you and he never will.

Amen. So if they keep that in mind, I think that'll help out a lot.

That is a very powerful message, Nick, and one that it holds true.

You know, you and I work together and you know what I've been going through and I know you know it.

I know what you've been going through at times. And, you know,

I can't even begin to imagine not being able to vent to you when I need you.

And years ago, we didn't even know who we were to each other.

But I think that what you just said is something that we all need to really take in.

And there was a saying that I remember, it says, when you go through difficult

times, make sure you pass the test.

Don't be stubborn and hard-headed recognize

that god is refining you knocking off

some of your rough edges stand strong and fight the good fight fight the good

fight of faith because god called each of us to be champions and you're destined

to win and that is what half faith let it begin is is asking of you today and

that's what nick's message,

So somebody out there today is driving, is commuting and saying,
