Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville Jaguar's fans welcome in to do vault daily presented by Jinjag.com and fueled by brass tax coffee right now.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: We are doing Jaguar's offensive standouts from there.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: Absolute dismantling of the Cleveland Browns.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: Blowout 34 to 10 win over the Browns.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_00]: That score isn't even representative, especially of what the Jag war's offense could have done in this game.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: Because in the second half, they packed it in.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_00]: They got starters out of there.
- 0:25[SPEAKER_00]: They started just running the football.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: And if they needed to, if this was a competitive game, I've no doubt the Jag war is probably quote of scored 50 or 60 points.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: I really feel that way.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_00]: It was an offensive masterclass from the Jag Wars.
- 0:41[SPEAKER_00]: on every level, basically.
- 0:43[SPEAKER_00]: It was excellent.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to dive into it.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: I really appreciate you all tuning in supporting the channel.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: You can also hit that high button.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: So, passpro.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_00]: Passpro does not have to be passive, and for the Jaguars, it was not in this game, and the Jaguars pass protection did a really good job, and that's not just the offensive line, like the tie-dance coming in and chip in and helping out
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, I'm bearing the lead not talking about Parker Washington first, but we'll talk about Parker Washington plenty.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: Colby and Lannon came in, played the first half and obviously they got him out of there because they didn't need him in there and you want to get him.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: acclimated and ready to go but you don't want to overdo it when you don't have to and they didn't have to in this game.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_00]: So he got out there and did a great job at Wright Tackle.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously flipping from the left side last year to the right side this year and he told the coaching staff he feels more comfortable on the right side.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: Sure looked like it out there.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: He did a great great job.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: No pressures allowed.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_00]: on the right side for COVID-19.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: No pressures and 20 pass blocking reps for COVID and land in.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: Looked excellently, I'm going to talk about it as well.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: COVID-19 and looked excellent in his return.
- 2:01[SPEAKER_00]: Ants on Harrison also looked excellent.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: And when you talk about past pro not being passive, you talk about ants on Harrison, you talk about a manual pregnant on.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: Those guys were violent with their hands.
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: They were violent in past protection.
- 2:14[SPEAKER_00]: Ants on Harrison also did a great job.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: in the run game too.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he got to the second level and was just Barry and folks on the first play of the game, Nate Tyson tweeted it out.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: First play of the game, Anton just buries a second level defender.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_00]: And it, like, you could feel the pop, the violence, the defender just melting to the ground.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: So, Anton Harrison and Colvin Lannon, as I talked about, you know, throughout the offseason, as long as you get a healthy Colvin Lannon, this tackle duo is extremely underrated.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_00]: And no,
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: the Denver Broncos, 85 bears, it wasn't the best group out there they were on earth, but they weren't going against Jared Vers, who is a good football player and a talented defensive front for the Browns overall, talented defense overall, they have talent at every level of their defense and the Jaguars dismantled it completely.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: So a big part of that again was
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: Tutan didn't have a ton of past pro, but he did a good job in his past pro, which is great to see from a young back who he's a standout as well.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: You know, Walker Little when he got in there, he did a good job against the Browns, too.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_00]: So that's great to see from Walker Little going out there and playing some right tackle in the second half, and it was mostly run game, but that a few throws when he was out there as well.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: He did a good job.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_00]: Robert Hainesy did a pretty solid job.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_00]: He did have the
- 3:37[SPEAKER_00]: The fall start where he snapped the ball early, it was a little wonky, not sure exactly who happened there.
- 3:42[SPEAKER_00]: But overall Robert Hainesy had a solid game too, and then Emmanuel Pregnant in Paspro, only one pressure allowed on 25 Paspro reps.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_00]: He did a very, very good job.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: Some things to clean up in the wrong game, I think, with Pregnant, where it was just a little
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: Liam Cohen talked about it getting to the second level there and pulling a couple times there was a little bit of Can't remember the word Liam Cohen used, but Jacked up.
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: It was a little jacked up a couple times, but he was very happy.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_00]: Liam Cohen was without a manual pregnant on played too and the tight ends did a great job in past pro.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_00]: So it was just
- 4:19[SPEAKER_00]: It felt like Trevor had all day to do whatever he wanted, and when he didn't have all day, once or twice, he was able to avoid pressure and make place.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: So shout out to the offensive line, shout out to the game plan by Liam Cohen, but you have the offensive line, which a lot of folks talk about the Jaguars offensive line being a potential weakness for them.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't thought that, again, I said as long as Cole van Lannon is healthy and playing the way he can play, the Jaguars actually have a plus offensive line, and really, again, one of the most underrated tackle duo's in football.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: Then I think you talk about Cleveland and Pregnant at guard, that's really solid too.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: Hainesy is, you know, if Robert Hainesy is your least talented offensive lineman, you're in a pretty good spot.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_00]: You're in a pretty good spot there.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: So, and when I say talented offensive lineman, I mean, in the starting lineup, right?
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: Um, so yeah, shout out to the past pro in a big way.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: How about the screen game and, and, uh, getting that going is a huge, huge, I think development for the Jaguars if they can continue that.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_00]: And I think what,
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: Execution is so critical on screens and blocking is so critical on screens.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that the wide receivers and tight ends in the screen game were blocking their butt off doing a really good job.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_00]: And so, before Liam Cohen got to Jacksonville last year, screen had been one of the elements of his offense that was just so efficient and so explosive.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: And it wasn't super, super explosive.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_00]: I think they have like one explosive on a screen, uh, to basal toon,
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: It was efficient, it was very efficient.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_00]: And so, getting that going, I think, is huge for the Jaguars.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: And that could be just another element of what they can do with this offense, extension of the run game, and speaking of the run game.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_00]: Bacial Tutan.
- 6:17[SPEAKER_00]: was excellent.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: So so good in this game.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: I thought that everything they asked of him, he did it at a very high level overall.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: Really.
- 6:28[SPEAKER_00]: He averaged 4.4 yards per carry.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: That could have been higher.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_00]: Um, a little bit later in the game, I think there was some stuff where it wasn't getting, you know, they went into a shell.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_00]: They went into run-only mode.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: And so I think he could have averaged a little bit more yards per, uh, but he averaged, and this is one thing the Jaguar is probably can improve on overall.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: Is the run blocking?
- 6:49[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I think several of the guys did a really good job, but there were several plays where there wasn't great run blocking.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: He averaged 4.4 yards per attempt.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: After contact, he had 67 yards, and he had 4.47 yards per attempt.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: So there were too many plays where he got a free runner, I'm in the backfield and had to make somebody miss, but even despite that, he was electric.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: He had seven missed tackles forced, again, he
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: just made so many guys miss, broke arm tackles, ran with good vision and pace and confidently and just looked like everything you want.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: Now you're like to see a big, big play from Basial Tutan, but he had a really, really good game for the Jaguars and his first game as the starter.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: And he is the starter.
- 7:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think Chris Rodriguez will get run, but
- 7:47[SPEAKER_00]: And he'll get a lot of run in some games, right?
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that Bacial Tutan is clearly the starter for the Jaguars, and he should be.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: He is pretty electric.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: He showed that in this game.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: So outside of that, I mean, Amir Abdul-Ali did a very good job.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: In the run game as well, he, when he was out there, he had four carries for 32 yards.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's pretty darn impressive.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: Chris Rodriguez, he had some short yardage stuff where you're not expected to get a lot of yards, you're just expected to get the first down.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_00]: I thought overall, Chris Rodriguez looked solid as well in the run game.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: He also had Jacobi Myers get a nice little carry that picked up a first down.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_00]: He was, he made a decisive cut.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: That was nice.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter had a nice little carry as well.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: But Jaguar's run game.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think Liam Cohen was pleased with it and overall I thought it was really good And there's still things they can clean up.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: So and look the Brown's defense again.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_00]: It
- 8:43[SPEAKER_00]: My Crutonburg, you know, welcome to the NFL as a defense of coordinator.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: This was a tough first matchup, right, but, and he's been in the NFL for a long time, but this is first time as a defensive coordinator for the Browns.
- 8:52[SPEAKER_00]: So, this was a tough assignment, certainly, but they did not look as talented as they are.
- 8:59[SPEAKER_00]: The Browns did not look nearly as talented as they actually are, and so, good job by the Jaguar's offense, good job by the running game.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: in a big way.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: I mentioned the wide receivers blocking on screens.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, all the receivers basically had positive grades out there when they were out there blocking in the run game and on screens.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: So, cool to see that.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to get into a lot more here, but first, I don't remind you, the Jaguars, looking at the Jaguars week two opponent, the Broncos.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars are three point road dogs right now against the Denver Broncos over at my bookie.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: You know I like that one.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know I like that one.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars, I know Sean Payton's going to be pretty antsy to get some revenge against the Jaguars after what happened last year, but the Jaguars have won nine straight regular season games by an average score of 33.6 to 14.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_00]: So the Jaguars being road dogs, I like that a lot.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: In my bookies website, super easy to use on desktop or mobile,
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: Another thing I really love about my book is it rewards you, it rewards your action with weekly cash back and bet and get offers.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_00]: Also, been telling you all this, how about the Jaguar's over nine and a half wins?
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: That's the over under right now.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: I like that one a lot.
- 10:15[SPEAKER_00]: If you're new, use my promo code Duvall to claim your first bet risk free up to $500.

- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: 7.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_00]: So, how about Nate Borkercher, lead all rookie titans and total offenses snaps with 38?
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars were in 12 personnel I believe 39% of the time.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: They were out there in 12 a lot and some of that was game script, right?
- 10:57[SPEAKER_00]: You're up by a lot.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to get into bigger formations and run the football more.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: But some of that I think is by design.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: They talked about wanting to be able to do more 12.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you draft Nate Borkercher to sit him on the bench.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_00]: You don't draft Nate Borkercher with a 56-pick because you want a tight end to sit on the bench.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_00]: You want him out there and doing things and he did a really good job blocking.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: Really good job.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: He also had one target, caught the football, picked up a first down, looked good doing it.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: Quentin Morris was also blocking his butt off.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, the Jaguar is getting into more 12, I think.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: along with the screen game working, these are elements of the Jaguars offense that are now starting to look like they can potentially be weapons and benefit the Jaguars in a big way versus last year when they were in 12, they were not very effective.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: When they were trying the screen game, they were not very effective.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: Again, it is a one-week sample size, so you got to see it continue moving forward.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: But in that game, it absolutely looked like it was working at a very
- 11:59[SPEAKER_00]: And that does take us to Parker Washington.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: Write the check.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_00]: Write the check if you are the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care how much it is.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: I really don't know at this point.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: Parker Washington is worth every penny.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: Look up NFL contracts for us here.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: As I know, we've talked about the Jaguars were in the range of like 25 million per year.
- 12:22[SPEAKER_00]: Same thing Michael Wilson got over and,
- 12:26[SPEAKER_00]: over an Arizona, you know, Parker, excuse me, Christian Watson.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: He also got paid this off season, and I think he only got like 23 and a half million per year, only, right?
- 12:37[SPEAKER_00]: But that's another guy who went off in such a big way.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_00]: He got 23 million, Michael Wilson got 25.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: Look, Alec Pierce got 28.5.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_00]: Are you telling me you'd rather have Alec Pierce than Parker Washington?
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm, given 30.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care what you have to give him.
- 12:56[SPEAKER_00]: Giving them 35.
- 12:57[SPEAKER_00]: I really do not care.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: Zafelauer's got 35, so Parker Washington.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_00]: The last eight games of last year.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: He was the fourth highest rated receiver in football.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_00]: Fourth, an entire league.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yesterday, fourth highest rated receiver in football.
- 13:17[SPEAKER_00]: Pay the man, that's all I'm saying is, pay the man.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: I really don't care what it is.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_00]: And one thing I'm really happy about for Parker, because I was thinking about it, I was like, man, it really kind of stinks that the first couple years of his career, he just didn't get enough run.
- 13:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like, he should have been, they should have figured, because he's always been good in practice.
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: And they just didn't give him enough opportunity, it seems like, to really show everything he could do.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_00]: And his first couple years with Doug Peterson in company which you mean.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_00]: not a huge surprise that they were making mistakes in that regard, but Parker Washington, I'm so happy for him that he's only 24 years old.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_00]: The fact that he's 24 means like, you know, if he was a little bit of an older rookie in 2023, let's say, you know, he was a 22, 23 year old rookie.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_00]: The guy would be like 26, 27 now when he started to actually break out, but he's still
- 14:15[SPEAKER_00]: And it's nice for him that, hey, he's going to be able to probably get multiple big pay days and be that he will be able to have this career in all likelihood that it's very long, a long NFL career because he started.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I mean, I think he was 20 years old when he got drafted by the Jaguars in 2023.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: And so he is in a spot here where he can have a very, very long
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: very, very productive career for the jag wars, for a very long time.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just fired up about Parker.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_00]: I really am.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: I think that he's everything you want in the modern NFL, and I know he's not the prototypical X receiver, but he is a dynamite like move Z slash slot receiver, and you can even have him on the field of X if you want to, but like
- 15:06[SPEAKER_00]: You move him all around the formation, you hunt up matchups, you dictate matchups, and he can beat man, he can beat zone, he's a yak guy, you can give him the ball underneath, you can give them the ball on jet sweeps, you can give them the ball on screens, you can hit him in the short game, in the quick game, on outrouts, like the outrout he had where he went and caught that ball, that was so sick, disgusting.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: Come back, posts, corners, he can hit it all.
- 15:35[SPEAKER_00]: he really can't I mean his touchdown grab he was wide open against man coverage down the field great catch athletic catch dives for it um you know the come back uh where where Trevor just layers it over multiple defenders great throw ballsy throw great throw but Parker washington with the tow drag swag on the sideline that was sick too and then when
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: snatches the ball out of the air.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: Parker Washington, even though he's only 5-10, he plays big.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: He plays big man.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: The guy last year caught 65% of his contested catch opportunities.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: 19 out of 29.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: It's all there for Parker Washington.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_00]: Literally.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: It is all there for Parker.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars just get it done.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: And look, I don't care if it's this week, I don't care if it's next week, I don't care if it's later in the season, but make sure Parker Washington is going to be a Jaguar for a very long time and do whatever you have to do to get that done.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm firmly in that camp.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_00]: I do not care if he's getting paid 35 million per year.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't.
- 16:52[SPEAKER_00]: like he's playing like a top 10 receiver.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: You pay top 10 receivers top money.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_00]: That's what he's done.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_00]: That's what he's showing.
- 17:00[SPEAKER_00]: So let's get that done.
- 17:02[SPEAKER_00]: If you're the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 17:04[SPEAKER_00]: Travel Lawrence had himself a nice day.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_00]: Statistically, super impressive, four touchdowns only five incompletions.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_00]: Two of those incompletions he threw the ball away.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_00]: Another one, he put it a little high for Parker who had to go up and get one hand on it to make sure the defender didn't get it.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_00]: Another one, Britain Strange got the ball just punched out by Grant Delpit, and the other one, Quentin Morris, couldn't catch pass.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_00]: Pretty dang good.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_00]: They had the office for Trevor Lawrence, and yes, he did have the, of course, you know, always good for one play every week.
- 17:38[SPEAKER_00]: It seems like or every few weeks or it's like, you know, going past the line, it's grim just throwing the football with your left hand.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_00]: But he was masterful, very, very few times he really had to evade in the pocket, do much
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: uh... but the one time that you know really stands out you've got a free rush or step up in the pocket you slither out you'd just drop a dime in the back of the in zone to jacoby mires that was sick the josh camera touched on unbelievable
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: He looks off, just split second to the left, fires it back right and Liam Cohen talked about it, like the decisiveness, the lack of hesitation, looks off the defender, boom, fits it in the tiniest of windows for Josh Cameron and shot a Josh Cameron for making the catch too obviously, but Trevor, fallen, four touchdowns, week one,
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: He's on the early MVP balance, that's for sure.
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: And Liam Cohen, great Udinsky, this coaching staff.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_00]: They just put my Groot and Berg in a blender.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's tough to watch for the Browns obviously.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_00]: It was incredible to watch for the Jaguars.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_00]: But,
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: Just as good as it gets, literally as good as it gets, and I know other teams scored more, other teams had to score more.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: The bills put up 36 against the Texans, that was insanely impressive, right?
- 19:09[SPEAKER_00]: But they had to, they had to do that.
- 19:11[SPEAKER_00]: And Josh Island did have a play that should have been intercepted light in the game that would have changed the outcome.
- 19:16[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm happy it wasn't, because obviously, any week where the Jaguars get a dub in the text and it's taken L is huge for the F.C.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: South standings.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_00]: And then like, you know, you look at the bears.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_00]: They went crazy.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: That's awesome.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: Good for them.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars, they didn't have to do that.
- 19:33[SPEAKER_00]: They didn't have to put up points late in the game.
