- 0:00What it do, what it do, what it do, it is your boy Andrew

- 0:06As always, Joseph Huggins AKA Old Man Huggy.
- 0:09Talk shit or get off the pod. Episode 208.
- 0:15You know, in this federal government here I always say
- 0:18every accusation is a confession and so is this one by ICE.
- 0:24Ice is a fucking bitch. Welcome motherfuckers.
- 0:29You don't really wanna fuck with me.
- 0:33Fuck around and I'm over my You don't really wanna fuck with me
- 0:40and your bitch. You wanna sell ladder, hit your
- 0:43lifestyle ass out the window with the special some bad now
- 0:48only for a minute. I may crash out in Top Nose.
- 0:51Call me Top Gun like I'm Tom Cruise of Marshmallow.
- 0:55Eat the whole bed. Then it's out the rich.
- 0:58I'm so queen. Yeah, I'm out there and I will
- 1:01feel like Bros with my own stunts and I'm O.
- 1:35My I I ice is lame. But hey, we over in the Spotify
- 1:41realm, we get we get away with a little bit more like I know you,
- 1:44you have the YouTube algorithm cause yo the audience, Joseph
- 1:47deals with the video content. I deal with the audio content.
- 1:50Is it much more liberal this the the the Danes or the Swedes?
- 1:54Whoever Swedes. Is it Spotify Swedish?
- 1:57Yeah, I mean, and you've got we have way more listeners.
- 2:00If we had as many as many viewers as we did listeners when
- 2:02we did it live, it would be totally different ball game.
- 2:05But it's just like it's fun to record it 'cause we do it this
- 2:08way. So it's kind of nice to give
- 2:09people another angle. But yeah, I mean, maybe they're
- 2:14on your ass about that stuff. For sure they'll be.
- 2:17They're super strict. I mean, luckily I didn't.
- 2:19I don't know if I told you the strike that we had for the
- 2:23streaming of Lethal Weapon 2, I got that taken down.
- 2:27So you got it taken down. So, so, so it was just, I was
- 2:31just talking about screenplayers this weekend randomly.
- 2:35That was a movie podcast Joseph and I briefly had.
- 2:39It was 'cause I was bringing up how like the Oscars were like
- 2:42the week before we were supposed to record Episode 1 where Will
- 2:45Smith slapped Chris Rock. I was telling that, yeah, I was
- 2:47telling that stories about screen players.
- 2:51So like. And we got struck midstream,
- 2:55they like. Shut my shit down.
- 2:56They were like stream dog and. We didn't even know because we
- 2:59were just vibing and streaming, but it's even crazier that
- 3:03episode, the band you Facebook don't give a fuck.
- 3:07That's what's even crazier is yeah, they never.
- 3:10It was just like. YouTube.
- 3:12When but you know, when you're multi multi platform like us,
- 3:16you have to deal with you have, we have like 8 baby daddies or
- 3:19you know, or I like to hold Spotify.
- 3:22They're sugar daddy. Shout out, shout out, baby
- 3:24daddies. Shout them out.
- 3:29Never met. Never met one I liked.
- 3:30Never met one I liked if you listen.
- 3:32You should like, you should watch the stream because it's
- 3:34chill. I don't really actually plug it
- 3:37that much. I we tell them to like, like and
- 3:39watch and stuff, but it's kind of, you know, we just kind of
- 3:41vibe it out, which I've always appreciated about the pod is we
- 3:44don't really edit it or change anything.
- 3:46We just like sit here and talk, you know, it's like been very
- 3:50straightforward. But yeah, you got to watch that.
- 3:53The rhythms, Spotify, you can say a lot more crazy shit and
- 3:57get away with it. Yeah, you just say it's
- 3:59explicit, but same thing with no, I guess not on YouTube.
- 4:04I say it's not. I'd say it's not meant for kids.
- 4:07Yeah, well, but. But then you could also play it
- 4:10has. Profanity.
- 4:11Yeah, 'cause I do then that just.
- 4:13Means you get less views. That's really what it is.
- 4:15It's like it's not gonna spit you out in the algorithm on home
- 4:18pages. That's fine.
- 4:19Sometimes. Sometimes you have some really
- 4:21like not gimmicky, but we I get some come up with some good
- 4:24titles, catchy shit. We're normally pretty topical
- 4:27like like we could literally change the title to the episode
- 4:31like 2 minutes before. Like it's normally something
- 4:34that. 'Cause we got it like that.
- 4:37Yeah, no, but I mean, because like we do it like, I mean, I,
- 4:40I'll be working all day and I'll, it'll be like, OK, we're
- 4:43doing the podcast in like 3 hours and I have to like, come
- 4:47find these articles Reclaim. So just tell you how much
- 4:50preparation he really puts in right here. 3 hours.
- 4:52No. Well, because no, no.
- 4:53But what I'm it's all of the stories that we do, topics that
- 4:58we cover, things like that, unless it's some wild jewel
- 5:01jewel heist that I'm super excited about.
- 5:04We we it's pretty like we've talked about articles that came
- 5:08out like an hour before we go alive to where it's like we're
- 5:12looking for that stuff. And if shit changes today's mark
- 5:17just political and world climate.
- 5:19So it's almost good, but we're not like, OK, it's Sunday.
- 5:21This is what we're going to talk about on Tuesday, because shit
- 5:24changes like. Well, I know in the in the
- 5:26beginning of the podcast, whenever, before Joseph got on
- 5:29board, like the very, very, very beginning with super producer,
- 5:32it would be at the episodes come out like a week later and I
- 5:35would never know when they were going to come out.
- 5:36And I was like, I was like trying.
- 5:38I was always like pushing for it, you know, like, like, yo,
- 5:40just release it, just release it.
- 5:42But like, yeah, like, but it was more finance like focus.
- 5:45And so it wasn't like current events necessarily.
- 5:48So it it kind of worked. Yeah.
- 5:51And I mean we do. I mean, I guess it kind of has
- 5:54kind of strayed, but all of these things have become such
- 5:57amalgamation love that word of in the same pot where you almost
- 6:03can't separate like discussions on education or without talking
- 6:07about our political climate, without talking about like
- 6:09special interests and business being involved.
- 6:12And it's all like, I mean, I think I have two articles today
- 6:15that are around. What did you have one in there?
- 6:22You did have one in there. Yeah.
- 6:24Yeah. So there's.
- 6:25Ron is in our top 10 listeners of no, no, no, no, No 70
- 6:28countries. So it's like, I figured like,
- 6:30how are we not going to talk about like the fall of the
- 6:32motherfucking mullahs? No, I know, but I'm just, yeah,
- 6:36I figured that's something you would just bring up 'cause
- 6:38sometimes. It's going to, but I just
- 6:40figured, you know, I, I put it in there as a placeholder, you
- 6:43know, make sure that we bring it up.
- 6:45Yeah. We could bring back, we could,
- 6:47we could rollback screenplayers. We could do it.
- 6:50I've thought about it and it's like kind of reformatting it.
- 6:53So we'll talk off air about it, but I've thought about that.
- 6:55Or we could do it. I I just want to do it because I
- 6:58think it's the best name I've come up with except for top
- 7:01shader get off the pod. I am switching platforms, not
- 7:06that we stream on, but I use a software that like I think I
- 7:10pitched before where I could stream on all these different
- 7:12platforms. I know they've limited it and
- 7:14they want me to pay them more for some reason, even though I
- 7:16was paying a subscription. So I'm like fuck that.
- 7:19I can rebuild it, a different layout and stuff like that.
- 7:23I'm going to do a little bit more cool shit.
- 7:25So switch it up and in due time. But how have you been?
- 7:31What's up? What's new?
- 7:34Shit, I don't know more NDA signed.
- 7:36No, I mean, no, I just had a had a great weekend.
- 7:41That's good. Shout out, shout out good
- 7:42weekends. Yeah.
- 7:46That's good, man. Yeah, I'm vibing.
- 7:49It's still kind of warm here, so it's kind of fucking with me.
- 7:54It's actually, it's hot for like the first time in a long time
- 7:58here. It's been really, really,
- 7:59really, really windy and then and then raining.
- 8:02You know atmospheric river is your favorite out here, dumping
- 8:05more water than the Mississippi on us.
- 8:07Yeah, let's. Go.
- 8:10So I think you've declared this for California like maybe
- 8:12multiple times or maybe I have that we were out of a drought.
- 8:16What did I? I don't know, I think one of us
- 8:20might have said it. I.
- 8:20Think you might have? I would.
- 8:22You've said that I would never claim anything for California.
- 8:25Be like I'm. Better not, but no, officially
- 8:31officially the first time in like I forget like 20 something
- 8:35years that we're out the drought.
- 8:39There's no not a single patch of California that is in like any
- 8:43like not in the yellow, orange, red, purple a drought.
- 8:47So shout out. We got the water Trump for the
- 8:51next buyers. Homie.
- 8:53We did it. Now we just got to break.
- 8:56We just got to rake the forest. We got to rake the forest
- 8:59leaves. We got to rake the leaves
- 9:00though. Doesn't want, doesn't want it to
- 9:02come down or something. And so the cell says there's no
- 9:05water. I don't know.
- 9:06He's the one who opened the motherfucking reservoir and like
- 9:08let out like 3 billion gallons. Like didn't he do that?
- 9:12Like I like, I keep bringing this up.
- 9:14Nobody. But didn't you get it?
- 9:15But did you get it all back? No, I mean, you know it, you
- 9:20know, did you know that? They're having a drought.
- 9:22Energy is neither neither destroyed nor created, you know
- 9:24what I'm saying? So the water went somewhere, but
- 9:27it's not a reservoir dog where we need it.
- 9:30But now we're good, We're good. You could fill the reservoir
- 9:33again, could you not? But I mean, well, it depends how
- 9:36good to see like because what I've I predicted this a couple
- 9:39years ago. Florida might just disappear
- 9:47with climate change. California tropical rainforest.
- 9:55I told you there's going to be winners and losers, dog.
- 9:58This is going to be kawaii. Now we're going to be kawaii.
- 10:01Wettest place on earth. I thought that was your mom's
- 10:06pussy, Joseph. I was kidding.
- 10:09What the fuck bro that's not cool.
- 10:12It was just. Sitting there, dude, it was
- 10:14sitting there fucking. Substitute.
- 10:16That's fucked up, bro. Yeah, well, that's why when
- 10:22people are like, oh, Texas, I'm like, no, the if the sea levels
- 10:27rose, it would take so long for the water to get to like North
- 10:32Central Texas. It would just be like.
- 10:33I'd be like what it? Yeah, you have to go.
- 10:35You have to fill up the valley. The valley, which is like
- 10:38subterranean and Infinity. Oh, the Gulf's right there.
- 10:42Gulf of America is right there. No, I think they said Gulf of.
- 10:45Mexico might have taken a while. Gulf of America, it's gonna get
- 10:47right there. No, I think I, I can't remember
- 10:49where I saw it. So you know, statistics are
- 10:51bullshit, but something that like if the sea levels rose like
- 10:56a foot or two, let's say there was 2 feet that Austin would
- 11:00basically be beachfront property.
- 11:02All of South Texas would, but it would all fill in like all that
- 11:06area is just like lowlands flat bullshit.
- 11:09It looks like the bottom of an old.
- 11:11Ocean actually. Well, The thing is it's like if
- 11:13it's rising 2 feet, it's because like the glaciers are melting,
- 11:17right? And then it's like, well, and
- 11:19then the glaciers, the ones that reflect the fucking sun.
- 11:22So then it just like kind of snowballs, no pun intended.
- 11:25And then so I think it goes 2 feet, it goes four.
- 11:29And then you're in Dallas. Then Dallas is knocking at your
- 11:31door, Doc. Everybody's going to be in
- 11:34Antarctica, dog. Everybody's wet.
- 11:35That's why we get. That's why we need Greenland.
- 11:38Pangea, where you at unite? I don't know.
- 11:43I don't know if these motherfuckers still buy like
- 11:44paying $25 million for like Malibu beachfront property.
- 11:48It's like dude. Yeah, What are you doing?
- 11:50That's how you're just like, I have so much money that I I want
- 11:53to spend it all before I die. Yeah, you better be old.
- 11:56Yeah, better be old. And then you don't give a shit
- 11:58about climate change anyways. Yeah, you never did.
- 12:00That's you're like, I won't be here to see it.
- 12:04Yeah, these Gen. Xers and their haircuts.
- 12:09Yeah. Blacks are moving into my
- 12:11neighborhood. You're like, oh Jesus, grandpa,
- 12:14what the fuck? This is wild.
- 12:17Like, I'm just saying they never gave a fuck about climate
- 12:20change. I you know, I got my beef with
- 12:23the boomers and with somewhat the greatest generation and how
- 12:26they've stopped. They read, they thought they
- 12:29reached the finish line of being like inclusive and protecting
- 12:34people's rights. And they actually weren't even
- 12:36like halfway done with the race. And that's like the right now
- 12:39they don't care. They're like, they want to
- 12:41fucking meddle for, you know, I don't know, 'cause they're the
- 12:45same people that you're realizing that there's more
- 12:47people were against the civil rights movement movement than I
- 12:51thought or I was led to believe when I was growing up.
- 12:54Boom. That's like the like was when
- 12:57you think about it, when they teach you about it growing up,
- 13:00it's like everybody versus the system.
- 13:02But they they talk about like dissidents.
- 13:04I know, I know you mean, I know you mean, but like what I'm what
- 13:08I wonder is how's it taught now? Exactly, 'cause then I was like,
- 13:13oh, everybody was. Like this is something else.
- 13:15I wonder is like all these people on TV who are like
- 13:19they're teaching what they're teaching in our schools, how the
- 13:22fuck do they know what the fuck people are teaching in schools?
- 13:25Are these people like where do you get this?
- 13:27How do you get this information other than your kids homework?
- 13:31You know, it's like, are you going into these schools or is
- 13:33this just something we people say?
- 13:34It's like, oh, the shit they're teaching them now.
- 13:36Like Bill Maher will say that. And it's like Bill Maher, when's
- 13:38the last time you've been in a school, homie?
- 13:40I mean, I like Bill Maher, but you know what I'm saying?
- 13:42It's. Like, dude, yeah.
- 13:42But Bill Maher's also becoming like I got.
- 13:44I appreciate him speaking his mind, but he says some pretty
- 13:47outdated shit sometimes. That's fine.
- 13:50No, no, but. You know but but but.
- 13:51That's my point. My point is, Brett, when's the
- 13:54last time you've been in a school like you?
- 13:56This is like what it's like. You're, what you're saying is
- 13:58what you've heard, you know, from someone else, from someone
- 14:01else who, you know, it's like, well, who's The Who is the
- 14:04original source of this information of what they're
- 14:06teaching in schools? Because it's not Bill Maher and
- 14:09it's not me, 'cause we don't have kids, you know?
- 14:12But no, no, no, so, so. But yeah, I just want to see
- 14:15what do you think about it? They're led to believe it's
- 14:18portrayed, or at least to us when we were younger, it was
- 14:21portrayed like it was like everybody versus the system.
- 14:24And the way they would talk about people who were anti, they
- 14:29made they made them seem like it was less.
- 14:31There was less people that it actually looked like.
- 14:33Does that kind of make sense? Like, I mean, while they do put
- 14:35like large crowds and I was aware of how big it was, some of
- 14:38the way it's presented, like they would, it wasn't presented,
- 14:42I'm assuming the same way it is now 'cause now they're like, oh,
- 14:45on the news, like MLK released all of his nudes or whatever the
- 14:50fuck. Like they're releasing the MLK
- 14:53files, like all the FBI wiretaps and stuff.
- 14:56It's like like to smear some. Anyways, I digress to.
- 15:01Smear him. Yeah, now like that's the reason
- 15:04why they're like and now it's not a if getting to the park
- 15:07free day, you can't on MLMLK day go to a but.
- 15:10You can't. But you can't on Trump.
- 15:12'S birthday. Trump's birthday?
- 15:13Get out of here, clown shoes. That's down.
- 15:16Black dude can't even get you in the park.
- 15:18For free. You just had an MLK parade out
- 15:20here today. It's like his birthday pretty
- 15:24coming up pretty soon 'cause it's.
- 15:26Yeah, right. Yeah.
- 15:27Everybody know. Everybody knows MLK loves the
- 15:29park. That's not cool, man.
- 15:33The national parks is what we're talking about.
- 15:35Yeah, I know. I just made that up.
- 15:36But you know. I think it's just because it's a
- 15:38national holiday. I don't think it had.
- 15:39They weren't like specifically MLK there.
- 15:42Trump's just like, specifically taking that one off the table
- 15:45for some, yeah. That's what I'm.
- 15:47Saying he couldn't just add his birthday he had, you know,
- 15:49because he had to keep it fair and balanced.
- 15:52Who was the other person? There's someone else too.
- 15:54There's another black person. No, it was Juneteenth.
- 15:57Yeah, Juneteenth, which is like. Which I thought he was the
- 16:00president when that became. A you make made it a federal.
- 16:02Holiday So what does he just isn't just like the like where
- 16:06he he got rid of NAFTA, the North American Free Trade
- 16:09Agreement and he got and he got made at the USMCA, the US Mexico
- 16:14Canada agreement and then he's like he's like this is the best
- 16:17agreement. There we go, and we're back.
- 16:27Can. You hear me now?
- 16:29Yes. OK, sorry, I, I bumped bump,
- 16:31bumped my shit. Nobody's ever seen an agreement
- 16:36like this. US, Mexico, Canada agreement.
- 16:40And then and then he gets back in office and he's like, no
- 16:43tariffs, tariffs till we get a better agreement.
- 16:46It's like, dude, you made the agreement that you said was the
- 16:48best agreement ever and that that's the one that you're you
- 16:51know, it's like people don't call him on his own bullshit.
- 16:54It's like, dude, you're the it's your agreement.
- 16:56Just like the Afghan pull out was his fucking agreement.
- 16:59But I didn't just did it. That was his plan and his.
- 17:02Yeah, his fucking plan. He just couldn't get it done.
- 17:04So by the night he'd do it for him.
- 17:05And he's the worst fucking thing ever.
- 17:07Think he was you? You wanted the Taliban campaign?
- 17:12Buy this car. It's my favorite car.
- 17:14I love this car. As he drives away.
- 17:17Look at that dude in that shitty car.
- 17:19You're like, that is your car or your.
- 17:21No, not even buy it. Just you want to borrow my car?
- 17:25Look at that shitty car. Yeah, isn't that yours?
- 17:29Nah, he's driving it. I would drive it way cooler.
- 17:36All right, You want to go to therapy Questions.
- 17:39Yeah, but did you you, you saw Jesse Ventura, I'm assuming,
- 17:43assuming. I I sent you the video.
- 17:44No, I know. I I thought as well.
- 17:46I thought like 10 other places. He looks insane.
- 17:50I thought he looked sharp. I like like.
- 17:54I came away from it like, like because you and I care about
- 17:58Jesse Ventura. I came away I.
- 18:00Love. Yeah, yeah, Jesse Ventura.
- 18:03Yeah, in front of the pod. Best friend of the pod besides
- 18:04George Santos. Yeah, Jorge, Jorge, truth me
- 18:11dawg. Get out of buy.
- 18:15Buy Christ coin. Buy Christ coin.
- 18:16Yeah. How?
- 18:19Much would we have to pay him on Cameo to do A to pump Christ
- 18:22coin to pump Christ coin? How have we not thought about
- 18:26that? I just did telling you I'm
- 18:31firing on all cylinders right now and that's a really good
- 18:34idea. Like what would that cost?
- 18:36Like multiple celebrities like that to do price coin
- 18:40commercials. Conservative because they're
- 18:44they're like, you know, really go into that and like the
- 18:46manosphere pay like Myron Gaines of fresh and fit.
- 18:51Oh my God. Idiot to do a plug for?
- 18:54Come on guys, make sure. You get collection, I wait to
- 18:56rug pull you OK? Alpha coin.
- 19:01I'm sure that already exists. Some some meatheads.
- 19:05Looking like it doesn't even matter.
- 19:06I have 4 million. I got 4 million coins.
- 19:08Come on, we're good. What's the what's the what's the
- 19:12value of Christ coin right now? Don't.
- 19:14Worry about it. That's why we need you, Santos.
- 19:21It's like doge. Think about it like doge.
- 19:23Like I got into doge when it was point in the IT was 0 point and
- 19:29then five more zeros before any number came besides the zero to
- 19:35a that of a penny when I bought it and we killed it killed it.
- 19:39Yeah, we wrote it. Yeah, No, yeah.
- 19:43No, not those Sheba. I'm thinking sheba that.
- 19:45Was the five zeros. That was the five.
- 19:48I did those too, but like that was not 5 zeros 'cause then that
- 19:51would be like we'd be like billionaires 'cause that was
- 19:53like that got up to like $0.30. I don't know what Sheba
- 19:55eventually got into. It got up to 79.
- 19:59Cents or $0.80 at. Its peak when I I think when I
- 20:03sold mine, but I bought mine for a fraction of a penny.
- 20:07OK, you ready 4 What do you think about this cover art
- 20:10that's in here in the nuts? That's good.
- 20:12See and boom boom, great instant.
- 20:18Instant y'all. Y'all will see the cover art.
- 20:21Like these mashed taters where you mix them up instant OK shit.
- 20:27There be there be question #1 would you rather have a cloud
- 20:34pillow or a weighted A weighted blanket that whispers
- 20:39encouragement? Weighted blanket, cloud pillow.
- 20:42Sounds chill but I I I love blankets.
- 20:46I'm not going to lie, blankets are the shit.
- 20:49But I've probably got honestly 10 or 12 and my grandma's made
- 20:56about most of them. Like fleece ones.
- 20:58My grandma's got skills but blankets for life bro.
- 21:02My grandma makes better blankets on them.
- 21:05Debatable. No.
- 21:09Not my grandma's. Got some skills bro.
- 21:10My. Grandma.
- 21:12That's fine. That's fine, dude.
- 21:14Don't. Don't say that.
- 21:15She's from a Philly dog. But she she kept chilling, bro.
- 21:22She might she might get shanked with a with a crochet needle.
- 21:26That's not, that's not cool, dude.
- 21:28Carol's just vibing. I mean I only have like a little
- 21:31blanket that's right from when I was like 6 maybe and I still
- 21:36have it. She would make like big knit
- 21:39blankets, like awesome ones. So she made me one that's Kelly
- 21:43green one time. Like she's still vibing too.
- 21:47Birthday's coming up shall. I, my grandma chain smoked,
- 21:52power smoked really with Walt Disney, you know, and she died a
- 21:58long time ago. I think I thought she was 80,
- 22:00but I think she was like 42. Damn, I'm just kidding.
- 22:05Well, 'cause you know what my with the job my grandpa had, my
- 22:08grandma's got wild pictures, 'cause you know, I said she, she
- 22:12went to like, Nancy Reagan's birthday party at the White
- 22:14House, 'cause my grandpa was a beat writer for the AP back in
- 22:18the day. But fake.
- 22:19News AP Fake news It's called Gulf of America.
- 22:24Oh, sorry, Gulf of America. Get the fuck out of the White
- 22:28House if you can't say it. Damn.
- 22:32That's that's what happened to them.
- 22:34Stephen Miller. I just saw some clip of some
- 22:38guy, he was Stephen Miller's poli sci professor at Duke in
- 22:432003. And he said that he asked
- 22:47Stephen Miller what he wanted to do when he got older.
- 22:49And he said he wanted to be #2 in the White House.
- 22:51And he said when you want to do that by.
- 22:52And he said within the next 15 years.
- 22:55And then he said who like for what president?
- 22:58And he goes, I don't know, maybe Donald Trump 2003.
- 23:02This dude bro, this dude must be stopped.
- 23:09Creepy. Yeah.
- 23:14Cloud Pillow. 'S Nacho, Isn't it just water?
- 23:18Yeah, that's what I was going to say.
- 23:19Like so if it's like. Cloud.
- 23:21Pillow, unless it's like an. Actually.
- 23:24Like fluffy, it's like a cartoonish style cloud that
- 23:28would be comfortable, you know, like because it's a cloud
- 23:31pillow. So maybe it's like a cloud from
- 23:33like Aladdin or some shit. You like sleep on it.
- 23:35It could be soft, but I'd much rather have a a weighted blanket
- 23:39'cause those are nice and they're expensive.
- 23:41Whether it talks to you or not. And it's whispering
- 23:44encouragement. It's like I'm my best dreams
- 23:46ever. I'm gonna wake up rested, take a
- 23:48little power nap to be like a power encouragement nap.
- 23:51Damn, had a bad day and it'd be like yeah slow down man, check
- 23:55in. What kind of accent does your
- 23:58weighted blanket have? I.
- 24:00Don't know, I think I'd rather just not be a dude based off of
- 24:05just like I'm snuggling with the blanket, right?
- 24:07I mean, it could be, but I'd probably rather it not.
- 24:12I don't know, probably some goofy like a wild accent though.
- 24:16Something cool, nothing aggressive.
- 24:17So no like German, anything like that.
- 24:21That'd be a little too tough. It'd have to be English, but it
- 24:23could have an accent. Like New Zealand.
- 24:27That'd be tight. That would be good there and
- 24:29there are some of the nicest people in the world.
- 24:31So you have a New Zealand encouragement?
- 24:33You have the Prime Minister of New Zealand that that woman just
- 24:36talking to you. Would you like a cloud pillow, a
- 24:42weighted blanket, or a human pillow?
- 24:45A. Human.
- 24:47Pillow. Yeah, that whispers
- 24:48encouragement that looks like the Prime Minister of.
- 24:52If it's with the same person that we're talking about, she's
- 24:54pretty cute. No, that'll be a good accent.
- 25:00Yeah. Or be if it was like, yeah,
- 25:01that, that'd be. And there are the nicest people,
- 25:04allegedly some of the nicest people I have.
- 25:07A. Is that like a?
- 25:07Is that in the rankings? Yeah, they're ranked.
- 25:10Some of the nicest people live in New Zealand.
- 25:12They've been at like the top of that for a long time.
- 25:14One of my buddies, Bo, shout out, Bo used to wait tables with
- 25:18him way back in the day. He last year got his New Zealand
- 25:22citizenship. He's lived there.
- 25:24He like moved there. He like got a job.
- 25:27Yeah. So no, no different.
- 25:31I used to wait tables with an Austin he like went over there
- 25:37got a bar gig for like a summer and just chose to stay.
- 25:40Married some chick, has a kid whole life family and he got a
- 25:44citizenship like. That makes sense to me.
- 25:46I feel like if I went to London, Australia, New Zealand for like
- 25:52an extended period of time, I probably wouldn't come back
- 25:54because I probably just need some hot chick, you know?
- 26:00It's like then I'm like what am I going to do, leave this hot
- 26:02Australian chick so I can go yell at ice in the streets?
- 26:09No therapy question #2. Heard it here first.
- 26:16Would you rather sweat minty freshness or smell like baked
- 26:23bread? See, that's tough.
- 26:27That's tougher than you think. Because sweat, minty freshness.
- 26:33That means when you're like, out there vibing, you get sweaty.
- 26:35You're gonna smell good, you're gonna smell minty.
- 26:37Not everybody likes mint, but that's not a bad thing.
- 26:41That means that your stinkiest. Moment tea tree smell.
- 26:44At your stinkiest moment you're gonna smell the best, but that
- 26:49means when you're just room temp and chilling, you're gonna smell
- 26:52like whatever you smell like. So you could still smell like
- 26:54shit, it just depends on if you're sweating or not.
- 26:57Dude, we need to get a deodorant ad right now.
- 27:00Right now. Start paying your boys at your
- 27:02stinkiest moment. You're smelling your best.
- 27:04That's. Pretty good, dude.
- 27:07I mean, come on. Get us in a fucking writer's
- 27:09room already. But yeah, it's your stinkiest.
- 27:12You'll smell your best, but other times you're going to
- 27:16smell however you smell, and it's not necessarily going to
- 27:21be. You can smell shitty and get Bo
- 27:23and not be sweating your ass off.
- 27:25You could get overconfident in the minty freshness.
- 27:29I don't need to shower. OK, maybe if I'm just.
- 27:31If I'm smelling shitty then I'll go run your boys now mini fresh.
- 27:38Yes, but that that does a substitute for bathing.
- 27:43You can't just not. No, I agree, but why would who's
- 27:45not bathing in this scenario? I'm saying you could get.
- 27:48I don't. Know if I want mint minty sweat
- 27:50all over me all the time? Exactly what I'm saying is you
- 27:52could get overconfident in the minty freshness that you produce
- 27:57and then therefore be lacking in the rest of your game and next
- 28:00thing you know you smell stinky and you're like Nah bro, I sweat
- 28:03minty freshness and they're like yeah right dude, you smell like
- 28:05ass. No, man, I I see I this is what
- 28:07I I would. Every time we tell you to take a
- 28:09shower, you go run around the block and come back.
- 28:12Is it? What?
- 28:13Isn't it easier just to take a shower?
- 28:16You could. I'm not.
- 28:17I'm not saying you might. Some people might.
- 28:20Some people might, some people might not.
- 28:23OK, well then think about what you're getting your fuck on.
- 28:25You start sweating. You know now.
- 28:26It's like, you know, some people would use, you know, some
- 28:29superheroes use their super strength to do shit.
- 28:31Some of them are in like weird sideshows or become bad guys.
- 28:34You could use the minty freshness.
- 28:36It could work against you is all I'm saying.
- 28:38Now baked bread. Everybody loves baked bread and
- 28:42that'll be weird because you would have a good smell.
- 28:44No, the smell of fresh break baked bread is awesome.
- 28:47No shit, I'm just trying to think.
- 28:49I'm trying to think. I do love walking into a subway.
- 28:51I used to not Well, the subway are baking the bread.
- 28:55Subways got their own, they have their own distinct smell, but
- 28:58just regular just baked bread, not bad.
- 29:01No one's going to be say that you smell stinky.
- 29:03You're going to have a unique smell all the time.
- 29:05Car's always going to smell good.
- 29:08And then that would that would stay with you forever.
- 29:10So whether you were sweating now.
- 29:12Well, think about when you are sweating, heating up with the
- 29:15baked bread now again. Smelling sourdough?
- 29:19Always going back to delicious. When you're having sex smelling
- 29:23like baked bread. No one would be able to finger
- 29:26point what it is 'cause they won't know they'll be like what
- 29:29does that smell? It's you'll be familiar,
- 29:31comforting. Finger pointed, She.
- 29:32We're having sex. It's me.
- 29:34I'm on. I'm on top of her.
- 29:36I smell like fresh fresh baked bread on a Friday afternoon, bro
- 29:40let's go. But your boy over here smells.
- 29:42Banana nut we banana nut. You smell a big banana.
- 29:46Are you are you modulating which breads that you smell like?
- 29:51In this In this idea in my head, the breads will switch up every
- 29:55day a different bread smells like bread.
- 29:57According to what? According to what?
- 29:58Pumpkin spice bread. You just shit, you turn that on
- 30:02for the holiday. Oh, I'm turning on my pumpkin
- 30:05spice bread. Pumper nickel.
- 30:06Is that a? Is that a bread?
- 30:08Yeah, maybe. If not, it should be.
- 30:13It is now smell like poppy, you know what I'm saying?
- 30:16Poppy seed. Call me poppy.
- 30:18I have a poppy seed bread baby. Fail a drug test right now.
- 30:23Reek of poppy seeds, but no. I'm going minty fresh.
- 30:27Minty fresh is good but I'm saying baked bread low key could
- 30:30be great. OK, this is the thing.
- 30:31There's Mint, a scented body washes and shit.
- 30:36There's no baked bread body wash.
- 30:39So I feel like, I feel like our overlords, I feel like our Old
- 30:42Spice overlords already decided this for us, dude.
- 30:45No. Or we're opening up a whole new
- 30:47air and they say, you know, it's going to be Cinnabon, Old Spice.
- 30:51Boom, that's a baked bread. Somebody did smell like cinnamon
- 30:54rolls. Somebody did smell like cinnamon
- 30:56rolls. Yeah, somebody told me to to do
- 30:58something like where you make your like, Cologne smell like
- 31:03baked goods. I'm just saying so me and this
- 31:08super vibe because I get it. And is there something
- 31:10comforting homey about? No, it's like, it's like a
- 31:14trick, man. And people wouldn't be able to,
- 31:17no, people wouldn't be able to figure it out.
- 31:19They'd be like, what does that smell?
- 31:20Smell so good? And you could almost claim that
- 31:22it's not. You'd be like, what are you
- 31:23talking about 'cause you're not putting.
- 31:24Anything like it smells like you've been at the airport.
- 31:26Bro spending $20 on a fucking cinnamon roll is what?
- 31:29It smells like I just smell like baked bread bro That's it.
- 31:31I just don't know why. Yo-yo this is aint COVID.
- 31:34Put your sourdough back in the you have.
- 31:36A unique scent. People would dig it.
- 31:38They'd be like, I fell in love with this dude and he smells
- 31:41like bread, bro. And her girl's like, why?
- 31:43You guys are like, yeah, he smelled like bread.
- 31:46It's delicious. Therapy question #3.
- 31:50Smell like marble rye. Like a marble rye bread.
- 31:56Smell like pound cake dude. The therapy question #3 what's
- 32:03up? Would you rather sneeze confetti
- 32:08poppers connect sneeze confetti poppers.
- 32:11Excuse me, or hiccup party horns.
- 32:17Somebody, somebody asked me, I, I, I did send these nuts out
- 32:20ahead of time. Somebody asked to, to the
- 32:23streets and somebody asked me, what has hiccup party horns?
- 32:29But I'm not like when you hiccup, it's like a party horn.
- 32:32Like it sounds like a party horn or.
- 32:34A. Party Horn comes out.
- 32:36Comes out like, you know the party horn is like where it
- 32:39rolls. Then I'd hiccup the party horn.
- 32:43Just cover your mouth and you hiccup and then no one will see
- 32:46it. I'm sneezing confetti, bro.
- 32:48You're going to get like a in ground party horn bro like if
- 32:51you keep blocking it. Like cut it off, catch it, cut
- 32:54it. Off.
- 32:56But is he in a bleeding flesh? Is it a flesh, limb, body, horn?
- 33:03I would say. That's grotesque.
- 33:05I would say. I would say.
- 33:07You're a sick fuck if that's. I just feel like I sneezed.
- 33:12I'm like no bro, get out of here, that's some horror movie
- 33:14shit. Season confetti sound season
- 33:17confetti sounds terrible and. Painful poppers, bro.
- 33:22Yeah, that would hurt the impact.
- 33:24Those are intense. They say do not cover with your
- 33:26hand. There's warning.
- 33:27Labels. You're not sticking your nose.
- 33:29Yeah. It's warning labels.
- 33:32Or you also you also sneeze way more than you hiccup.
- 33:34Or at least for me, I don't know.
- 33:36I don't really do much. This person, this person, I, I
- 33:40just thought about this. I didn't think about it before.
- 33:43This person told me that they hiccup twice a day.
- 33:48That's weird. Back-to-back hiccups.
- 33:51Suspicious once, once, once a once in the day. 2 hiccups every
- 33:58day. That sounds like some reptilian
- 34:02shit dude. You don't trust it.
- 34:06Nah every day. Every day of my life I've hiccup
- 34:10twice. That's a error code.
- 34:12Like what's wrong? If this is the matrix, you're
- 34:14not fitting in Like you're proof because this bitch be hiccuping
- 34:17twice a day. This bitch.
- 34:20I don't know she. Was person who said she was she.
- 34:24I'm just assuming and no denial. So this female keeps hiccuping
- 34:32twice a day every day. I've been ever since my whole
- 34:36life. That's just, I don't know, it's.
- 34:38Suspicious, forgot about that. So I just ran out.
- 34:40It hit me. I'm like.
- 34:42That's suspicious. What?
- 34:44You hiccup twice a day? Every day.
- 34:46Do you know what time? Yeah.
- 34:47Once in the morning, once in the evening.
- 34:49Yeah. Specific.
- 34:50Can we? Get they're back-to-back.
- 34:52The hiccups are back-to-back. So she has four hiccups.
- 34:56No, no, no. No, she does a, she does a
- 34:57double tap. That's two.
- 34:59Yeah, that's the. Two, she does that twice, or she
- 35:03just does that just once. I clarified all of this.
- 35:06Yeah, and it's not a set time. So it's just random, it's just a
- 35:11arbit, it's a unlim, it's just like on its own clock, OK.
- 35:15Quantum shit. Is there anything that make that
- 35:18they're consistently doing in that time, like hitting a vape
- 35:23or drinking water or? I would like to say that the no,
- 35:27there is no cause for like known causation.
- 35:34Suspicious. OK.
- 35:35I'll investigate more. Yeah.
- 35:37I'll I'll follow up on this. Yeah, I I'm not trying to be
- 35:40disrespectful. We've been wanting to get it.
- 35:42We've been wanting to get it to, to first source reporting on
- 35:45this on this podcast. So here we go.
- 35:47Yeah, I'll, I'll go back to the streets and I'll find out.
- 35:52What do you think about someone with hiccups once a day?
- 35:56Every day and then ask the person.
- 35:58On a timeline of they remember doing it their whole life.
- 36:02I didn't. I don't know if it's hot.
- 36:03See, that's how long. That's the thing.
- 36:05I need to find out when this started.
- 36:08I remember seeing those videos of people on the news.
- 36:11They've like, they have the hiccups for like 6 or 7 years.
- 36:13No, fuck me up. Is this the time?
- 36:16I get it? Am I going to be that kid?
- 36:18And then if I had a hiccup like all day, I'd be like, but shit,
- 36:20I get to be on TV. Everybody's going to be like,
- 36:22damn, who's this poor kid got hiccups?
- 36:25I remember being at my and uncles inside the at their
- 36:29kitchen and they had the TV inside the like where the
- 36:31kitchen was and like and like a news thing of that some dude
- 36:35who've been like hiccuping for like 10 years.
- 36:38I'm like, and I just being like horrified by that.
- 36:40Like Deborah Norville and Inside Edition, she was like, this
- 36:46band's had the hiccups for eight years, so they'd be interviewing
- 36:48like that's like, bro, this is fucking me up.
- 36:53So if I got the hiccups it would freak me out.
- 36:55Yeah. Just as much as the abduction
- 36:58episode of Signings fucked me up.
- 37:04Sightings, the alien TV show where they would like do
- 37:07reenactments. Like that show used to mess me
- 37:11up as a kid because I was like oh shit, you know what I've.
- 37:15Told you about you know what I've told you about trauma
- 37:17dumping on the podcast just. That's not a trauma dump.
- 37:19What's even crazier is I bring that up 'cause there I saw a
- 37:22Vice article. I need to find it.
- 37:24I'll send it to you talking about that episode.
- 37:27And it was someone talking about how that show, like, terrified
- 37:30them when they were a kid. And I was like, exactly.
- 37:33And they showed pictures of what it was like.
- 37:35That's horrifying, 'cause I was, I thought it was real, 'cause
- 37:39then, you know, it's like Unsolved mysteries that used to
- 37:41creep me out. It was good.
- 37:44Well, I know I never fucked with that.
- 37:45Like I knew that that should creep me out a version.
- 37:49I don't watch horror films. I'm I'm starting to think like
- 37:52maybe I might enjoy some of these horror films, but I still
- 37:56haven't dipped my toe in. I don't watch Unsolved
- 37:58mysteries. I don't watch 48 hour.
- 38:01I watch first 48, not 48 hours. Whatever that show is Dateline.
- 38:07I don't do the true crime shit except for like, you know,
- 38:09Brandon Nasty or whatever the fuck.
- 38:10That, yeah, but Dateline, Dateline's like kind of kind of
- 38:13weak sauce. First 48's good with the old
- 38:18school. The first, the old school
- 38:20Unsolved Mysteries was creepy. And half of it's, you know, the
- 38:25host walking around in like a Brit, a wet alley that's like a
- 38:30shiny floor with brick and pillars.
- 38:33He's in a trench coat. And he's like tonight.
- 38:35And you know, that was, that would fuck you up.
- 38:37And then America's Most Wanted would get you riled up because
- 38:41he'd be like, hey, we're going to catch this motherfucker.
- 38:45He would come in like super hot. And what people don't realize is
- 38:47the guy who was the host of of America's Most Wanted, his son
- 38:53was actually murdered. Who doesn't realize that?
- 38:56I feel like he tells, he tells everybody that he will fucking
- 38:58listen about it. I think he fucking kidnapped the
- 39:02motherfucking son and murdered him.
- 39:04No, I think they can. They can't watch.
- 39:06No, I I think I can't remember it's either.
- 39:09I don't think it was John Wayne. It it might be either Gacy or
- 39:12Dahmer. They tried to they can't, they
- 39:13can't like 100% connect it, but they like, Oh, it's.
- 39:16One of the famous ones. Who's one of the original?
- 39:19Like kids on a milk milk carton. I'm just trying.
- 39:22Yeah, dude, see this guy? And then he got a show.
- 39:25No dude, he did it. Jesus, his whole career is a
- 39:31fraud. Yeah, he's like, yo, I got a
- 39:33fucking idea for a show. Milk cartoons, milk cartoon
- 39:37sales. I bet he fucking, I bet he I bet
- 39:39he like went long on on on milk and then.
- 39:42What's what's more believable the the dog Dog the bounty
- 39:47hunter is a is an actual reformed convict or in the sense
- 39:53that like he doesn't like do drugs or anything crazy or
- 39:57America's Most Wanted guy is did not murder his son are.
- 40:02You trying to say that the dog's not clean and sober?
- 40:05Maybe. No, I don't know.
- 40:06But Beth out of the picture, he's got a New Girl.
- 40:09What happened to Beth? Did she die?
- 40:10I. Think she passed away all?
- 40:13Right, Pete, Beth. She was well, there's a channel
- 40:17that plays nothing but Dog the Bounty Hunter 24/7.
- 40:20It's just like I've watched an episode or two before and I'm
- 40:25just like, how was this so big? Like, this was so big, Like, the
- 40:30surface scraping, the level reality TV when it was really
- 40:35revving up was so simple, like, so stupid.
- 40:40And that was huge. It was just like, yeah, look at
- 40:42this tweaker. He was hiding in a dumpster.
- 40:44I I pointed my paintball gun at him.
- 40:47Get out. Like, they're not even using
- 40:48real guns. And then Bess just walking
- 40:51around with crazy nails and weird gloves and her boobs
- 40:54everywhere. And she's just like, I'm going
- 40:56to give you a cigarette, but, you know, then you got to tell
- 40:58me where she's at because we're looking for her.
- 41:00And it's just. Like I mean her boobs were the
- 41:02original Everything Everywhere all at once to like I mean.
- 41:07Yeah, omnipresent Wizard of Oz. I'm Air.
- 41:14Except for real. Yeah, he was really just buying
- 41:17the curtain. Yeah, but I mean.
- 41:19He was everywhere. He had a microphone, dude.
- 41:21Oh. God.
- 41:24On Oz 1 mic on Oz Wizard of Oz. Why hasn't he done that?
- 41:31Why? Hasn't he done that?
- 41:32He get sued. No.
- 41:35Yeah, it'd become like Michael Jackson bought the rights.
- 41:38To the Wizard of Oz. For the for the Wiz, he like
- 41:42bought all the rights to the Wizard of Oz whenever he did the
- 41:45Wiz. Can't let you do that.
- 41:48Some bullshit. I'd love to let you, but you
- 41:50can't. Didn't The Beatles buy that
- 41:52shit? Or did he buy The Beatles?
- 41:54He bought all their shit. He was like and then I think he
- 41:56sold it though what is broke at for some propofol like a
- 42:01crackhead Jesus. Biotherapy question.
- 42:13And actually, he did say Michael Jackson actually let not sample
- 42:16one of his beats, but he told him he wasn't allowed to cuss on
- 42:20it. For the kids, and we know
- 42:28Michael loves the kids, you know.
- 42:30Good to see Macaulay back at the Golden Clubs.
- 42:33Therapy question #4 Would you rather be the person who gets it
- 42:41or the person who gets away with it?
- 42:50See, I feel like everybody, a lot of people would be inclined
- 42:53to say like, oh, gets away with it.
- 42:54I'd rather be the person that gets it.
- 42:56I'd rather understand like whether it be a task, something
- 43:00I'm trying to do, something I'm trying to accomplish and how to
- 43:02get to that point. I'd rather understand that than
- 43:05getting away with it. You in that phrase, it's almost
- 43:09like what are you going to how's that going to benefit you in the
- 43:16long run right. So it's like I'd rather get it
- 43:18and be like, oh, like, you know, it's like people who, if
- 43:23somebody were to sit there and get like super hammered and
- 43:27black out get or driving it, you know, get in a bunch of trouble
- 43:32or something like that, or somebody who's like moving met
- 43:35large amounts of meth. I if you just keep getting away
- 43:38with it, like how how much is that going to benefit you with
- 43:41you getting? It would be like that's probably
- 43:43not the best thing to do, like right, it'd be understanding.
- 43:46There's a self-awareness to I get it and an accomplishment.
- 43:49There's not a negative way you could like really put that in as
- 43:53or get get away with. It just means you're skirping
- 43:55by. Doesn't really matter.
- 43:57Like I speed all the time and I'm super dangerous but I get
- 43:59away with it. Like in what sense?
- 44:02Take it or you don't crash 'cause if you're not getting
- 44:04tickets and no one ever catches you, you're going to crash at
- 44:06some point. That's not bad if.
- 44:08You're still getting away with it.
- 44:09You're getting away with it. I don't know.
- 44:11I got away with, like I, I, I got into the really crazy
- 44:14situations when we were kids that I got and I got somehow out
- 44:19of it. You know, they had a cop like
- 44:20when we were at the kind of house party.
- 44:22I got run. I I started running.
- 44:24They came to the backyard. I was in the backyard.
- 44:26I hopped the fence. There was a couple in those at
- 44:27the fence. I was running.
- 44:28He caught me, arrested me, put me in the back of the car, got
- 44:33everybody at the house lined everybody up in the curbs, Call
- 44:36people's parents, gets mad at the car, breathalyzes me.
- 44:41Somehow I pass it and somebody else's parents are there and I
- 44:45just get ride home with them. I just go to my parents and just
- 44:46walk in. My parents have no idea any of
- 44:48it happened. Just just go right to my room.
- 44:51Shit like that. Yeah.
- 44:53I mean, there's times where I got there that.
- 44:56That was amazing. That was amazing.
- 44:58One of the greatest getaways is this was I guess spring break
- 45:04senior year. You'll remember this because you
- 45:06had a we, we both had crazy. There's a lot of people with
- 45:09crazy escapes and you had a crazy escape.
- 45:11We were partying at that cross country kid Nick's house and his
- 45:16parents had been out of town for like a week and a half and it
- 45:19was like the last Saturday before we would all have to go
- 45:23back to school. My mom was out of town, so I had
- 45:26people over a couple times, but then she I was like, no, I
- 45:30cleaned the house. So we went, you were there.
- 45:32You were there with Matty B and. I got I you want to hear
- 45:36something funny, I'll let you keep going.
- 45:37But I got back from Hawaii that day, so I I was at the airport
- 45:41that day and. So, so I I'd had people over
- 45:45parties at the house, had gotten away with it.
- 45:47Scott free was good to go was and I was like, Nope, the house
- 45:51is clean. No one's coming over.
- 45:52They get back tomorrow. It's going to be perfect.
- 45:54And I didn't get away with that. I'll tell you why.
- 45:57But we're at that house party and I remember vividly when I
- 46:01get there, someone's walking around with the flashlight
- 46:04flashing people like they're pretending to be a cop.
- 46:08Well, I remember I'm sitting inside.
- 46:10I think you were in the guest room with Matty BI think you
- 46:14were you were you were doing, you were on another side of the
- 46:16house. But basically cops busted,
- 46:19everybody runs upstairs, which is the stupidest shit ever.
- 46:24I in these like white air forces, I run down this back
- 46:30hallway. So I'm sitting in this chair.
- 46:32They bust in. I just get up and bolt and I go
- 46:35out the backyard. But I run down this hallway and
- 46:38it's like a there's no windows and there's a window on the
- 46:41door, but it's got blinds. So I just like and there's a
- 46:44bunch of commotion. It sounds like outside.
- 46:46I bust out this Outback door full speed.
- 46:49I say someone get tackled by a cop over here.
- 46:51Everyone's running around and swirling.
- 46:53There's girls screaming and Nick had like 8 foot fence.
- 46:58His fence was really fucking tall.
- 47:00He had a huge. You love a good fence.
- 47:03Because it was at the his his fence backed up to White's
- 47:06Chapel where like Bob Jones and like, wait, it's kind of for the
- 47:10listeners. It's like an old road that was
- 47:12like really nice big neighborhood, but it's still
- 47:14farm field. So on some of those roads, and
- 47:18he's really affluent neighborhoods, they put up these
- 47:21like fucking fortress Rotunda walls that block off the
- 47:25neighborhoods. So someone veered off the
- 47:27Country Rd. They wouldn't crash into your
- 47:29backyard. So he had this huge fence and I
- 47:32just sprung 1 jump, was running full speed and just and dropped
- 47:36my fucking shoe. My shoe falls off.
- 47:40I'm sitting there with one shoe. It's pitch black.
- 47:42I know it's like cow shit fields over here in like a ditch.
- 47:46So I jump down, put my shoe on, jump back up and hop the fence
- 47:51and just start running. Run across the street.
- 47:54There's other people kind of running and I run.
- 47:56I hit this patch of mud and slide about four or five feet
- 48:01and run into a barbed wire fence and catch my hands and to slice
- 48:06my hands open and I eat shit covered mud.
- 48:10And there's a cop that's coming down the road the back part and
- 48:14we're I'm laying down. There's I'm going to use short
- 48:20names. Oh, it doesn't matter.
- 48:21But well, Crenshaw's down over there and then Cameron White's
- 48:26over here. There's like soccer kids.
- 48:28There's like all these randos. We all wait it out.
- 48:31Then we hide out there. I make somebody come pick us up.
- 48:36Somebody comes and picks us up and we leave.
- 48:39You were. From what I understood, you went
- 48:41out a window to. Escape Me and Matt casually
- 48:46walked out the garage, open the garage door, walked out.
- 48:50People are like running everywhere.
- 48:52Cops are like running after people and like already in the
- 48:54neighbor's front yard. And my dad let me take his
- 48:57Beamer, OK. And me and Matt walked in, got
- 49:01in the Beamer, I went in reverse, all because the street
- 49:05was just packed with cars, because people were there for
- 49:07the party. Just went in reverse slowly all
- 49:10the way down the street and left.
- 49:13We just acted like we weren't a part of the party, even though
- 49:15we were just like clearly walking out of the house and
- 49:17kids. But like, it's like, that's why
- 49:20I quickly realized, like, everybody's running, so they're
- 49:22going to know that you're like a part of it, right?
- 49:24So I was like, if I just don't do anything, like the cops
- 49:28aren't even looking at me. Brucey and I was just like, if I
- 49:31clear this fence, I get out of here, they're not going to hop
- 49:35it. And yeah, there was so much
- 49:36commotion that because because I remember sitting down in Weitzel
- 49:42comes running in with the flashlight.
- 49:43He was flashing people with, he said cops, cops.
- 49:46The cops got in because they didn't close the front door.
- 49:48The front door was like wide open.
- 49:50So I watched him come in. They like pushed it.
- 49:52I, I, it was so relieved getting away there because like I had to
- 49:55convince my dad, like let me take the beamer and like, it was
- 49:58such a big deal and like, I just got there and I'm like, are you
- 50:01fucking kidding me? Like and but then like I got
- 50:03away and I was like, damn I. Think they passed out like 32 or
- 50:08like 40 MI CS or MI. Minor in consumption.
- 50:13Or minor in possession of alcohol.
- 50:14I think they passed out somewhere near like 40.
- 50:16Yeah, something like that. Because they everybody went
- 50:18upstairs. They caught somebody hiding in
- 50:20the attic like hours later, like hiding in the insulation.
- 50:24They how do you even keep up with that?
- 50:25I would just be like I already got mine guys, thanks.
- 50:28Oh, but they have nothing better to do that like this is it?
- 50:31I know, but like at some point you can just get lost in the
- 50:33sauce. And I've been partying there
- 50:35like a couple times that week or the week previous.
- 50:39I think I robo tripped there. Yeah, that was like one of the
- 50:44wildest. That was that was a great escape
- 50:47because it was there's it was pandemonium.
- 50:49There's at least 100 and something people there, at least
- 50:53in the front, inside, upstairs. And it was like, like I said,
- 50:56cheerleaders, football, track, cross country, soccer.
- 50:59It was that we were all basically wrapping up school.
- 51:02So it was just everybody. Partying up summer, right?
- 51:06No, no, it was a end of spring break going in.
- 51:09So it was the end of it was the last Saturday before we because
- 51:12like we were all off the next day and then we had school.
- 51:15So it was like people got popped that last day before.
- 51:18But his parents were gone that whole week.
- 51:22Good times. Good times would do you need
- 51:26your break I'm. Good man vibes.
- 51:29You need a break. Do you?
- 51:31I'm fine. Do you need a break?
- 51:34OK, we'll be back. He's got to go.
- 51:38And we are back with the articles.
- 51:48All right, article time. This is from MPRKERA, brought to
- 51:55you by viewers like you. FTC accuses AI search engine of
- 52:00rampant consumer deception, stealing our money.
- 52:04Search engine powered by artificial intelligence known as
- 52:07Pearl, promotes itself as a distinctive service and offers
- 52:10up answers generated by large language models.
- 52:13Then a human gets involved for follow up questions and fact
- 52:15checking. There is one problem, according
- 52:18to the lawsuit by the Federal Trade Commission on 2.
- 52:21This is actually back from this from the 13th.
- 52:23So it's a couple days. No, it's today.
- 52:26I'm sorry my days are all scrambled man.
- 52:29I'm working too much. Yeah.
- 52:32That the IT was filed on Tuesday.
- 52:34The company's offers offerings are alleging A Poly to lock
- 52:38customer employ to lock customers in reoccurring
- 52:40charges. They don't want the scheme that
- 52:43ensnares hundreds of thousands of people that federal
- 52:46regulators are calling rampant consumer deception.
- 52:49Is this shocking to you? Like I'll read more, but I'm not
- 52:54shocked no how the federal investigators say it worked.
- 52:58So when browsing the web, clicks on an ad related to their online
- 53:01search and arrives at one of a one of a host of landing pages
- 53:06the company operates. Some of the domains include
- 53:09justanswer.com, Ask womenshealth.com,
- 53:12askalawyer.com, pearl.com and hundreds of others.
- 53:17Then, an assistant chatbot known as Pearl ask further questions
- 53:20about the search before sending the user a form to join the
- 53:24company's question and answer service for either a dollar or
- 53:28five dollars. Once credit card information is
- 53:30handed over, the company starts milking consumers, according to
- 53:34the federal complaint. Just Answers charges consumers
- 53:37both the one and the five to join and specifically higher
- 53:40monthly subscription for you immediately at sign up.
- 53:44Damn, that sucks. According to the suit, the
- 53:46federal leaders regulators say which began in 2022, so they've
- 53:51been investigating these guys for a while.
- 53:53The unwanted monthly fees, which can be as high as 79 to $80
- 53:58dollars, continue regularly until the month or every month
- 54:02until the consumer cancels something that is revealed in
- 54:04the fine print above the large orange button that says confirm
- 54:08now. I mean that's not that shocking
- 54:12to use an AI bot to scam people out of 80 bucks every month.
- 54:18Those are some gay used to it. Yeah, but like, just answer
- 54:23justaskalawyer.com. That's sketchy as fuck, dude.
- 54:26Like, have you used that? No, that's just like a wild,
- 54:30like angle to take. Like, I'm going to pretend to be
- 54:32a lawyer and RIP you off. I'm going to pretend to care
- 54:34about Women's Health. I'm going to.
- 54:37I'm just going to do you just want answers.
- 54:39Taking your money bro. Yeah, I mean, that's, that's,
- 54:43that's like what the Russians would do.
- 54:45Like on like just disinformation, like the people
- 54:50who were like mostly responsible for this like petition to for
- 54:55California to, to, to secede from the nation was it was like
- 55:01a Russian bot farm. But then they were like, but
- 55:03then also so was Texas, you know, And so it's like they
- 55:08didn't give a shit like what side it was.
- 55:10They're just like, like moms, like Californians, Texans, just
- 55:14like just get everybody to get in the United States.
- 55:16Route the fuck up. Yeah, Where is it?
- 55:21Yeah, a federal investigator said.
- 55:23This profit stumps hundreds of thousands of has duped hundreds
- 55:26of thousands of customers, which the suit says led to a flood of
- 55:31complaints describing the company's scammy behavior.
- 55:34The company's CEO Andy Kurtzig I was aware of consume was aware
- 55:38of the consumer deception and refused to make any changes,
- 55:41according to the suit. In a statement of Just Answer,
- 55:44spokesman said he was disappointed with the lawsuit
- 55:47after having engaged with the FTC for nearly three years.
- 55:50We clearly published our pricing and model upfront and make
- 55:54cancelling simple and convenient through multiple channels,
- 55:56including a 24/7 toll free. The number live chat e-mail with
- 56:01one click on the website. No, they're all they have 7 just
- 56:07answer a 700 employees and has raised around 50 million
- 56:14someone's. I mean, that's this is like, I
- 56:17don't know, we've like a magazine subscription like, you
- 56:20know, and they'd be like, oh, sign up for this magazine
- 56:22subscription and you know the first one, you know, you get
- 56:25pick 10 magazines you want and then someone would sign up.
- 56:28Next thing you know, you're getting charged like a shit ton
- 56:31for all these National Geographics.
- 56:34Everybody's parents got scammed in that shit or you bought like
- 56:37encyclopedia but. Weren't we the one selling the
- 56:39motherfucking magazines? Maybe he could have been like,
- 56:43but that that. 'D be.
- 56:44I definitely sold magazines that would.
- 56:46Be for the school that was for the school that was different.
- 56:49They they had us like selling shit for them, like what is
- 56:53happening and. They'd be like, if you sell
- 56:55enough shit I'll give you a pizza party bitch.
- 56:57No, ours are crazy like getting like a fucking cash machine.
- 57:01Oh yeah. Yeah dude, I just saw somebody
- 57:05video and they took their shirt in a cash machine and just went
- 57:09like. Just pulled your microphone out.
- 57:17Nope. Well, kind of.
- 57:24And we're back. So you were saying that somebody
- 57:34with a shirt at a change machine just dumped with his dump?
- 57:37Machine, it was like, it's like when you're in the booth and
- 57:38they do like the cash. Oh, they spin it.
- 57:41Yeah, yeah. Yeah, no, like the IT goes in
- 57:43the air. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 57:44And you can like collect it or. So like he put his shirt out and
- 57:49and the music goes goes up and then he closes it so it goes up
- 57:52into his shirt. Not like he's catching it with
- 57:54his shirt, you know, It goes like.
- 57:56Yeah, I saw that video and he got hit.
- 57:58Genius. Lick it's yeah, it took it took
- 58:01how many years like I I used to, but I'd never gotten the cash
- 58:03machine. But I always thought about it, I
- 58:05always wanted to just couldn't sell that.
- 58:08I couldn't sell nothing. I.
- 58:09Always thought about getting in a box full of money swirling
- 58:12around. Did.
- 58:13You get, did you get weed blows? You know what I'm talking about?
- 58:18Like a little like no, OK, never mind.
- 58:23No, it sounds familiar. I just don't.
- 58:25You got to. I don't, I, I don't really know
- 58:27what I'm talking about. Like I'm just thinking about
- 58:30this child labor that they put me through now.
- 58:32It's just like all flashbacking in my head.
- 58:35There was like these different ones that you can like earn and
- 58:38then you get different prizes. Like I just remember being
- 58:40jealous of the people getting the cool ass ones.
- 58:47I don't know. I'll, I'll look into it.
- 58:51Joseph's looking it out. Yeah, I'm looking at.
- 58:53Silence. Some weird shit that popped up.
- 58:57OK, A. Lot of weird shit.
- 59:00I left the O off. I mean I left the W off.
- 59:03I was like OK, I'm gonna look up.
- 59:04We blow. I was like wait not doing W No
- 59:09WS. I mean, that is like a, that is
- 59:11also like a different the Boy Scouts or we blow.
- 59:15Former FTC Chair Lena Khan, who's investigators started the
- 59:19probe and had just answered, railed against such corporate
- 59:22behavior. She brought similar actions
- 59:24against major tech firms, including Amazon, which F the
- 59:27FTC said had developed dark patterns to trick customers into
- 59:31auto renewing their Amazon Prime subscriptions.
- 59:34Some of the most common scenarios where we see the
- 59:37problematic dark pattern dark patterns presentations on the
- 59:40Internet today involve getting users to agree to a maximum data
- 59:44sharing through confusing prompts.
- 59:46A professor of Penn State law said who specializes in Internet
- 59:49regulations and situations where users.
- 59:57Yeah, they agreed to recurring transactions or get tapped or
- 1:00:01get trapped by the by an inability to figure out how to
- 1:00:04exit, even though they were promised that they could cancel
- 1:00:07anytime, which is super true. I mean, that's nothing new.
- 1:00:10I mean, that's half of the American cancel anytime.
- 1:00:13You have to tell me that that means I can't cancel anytime.
- 1:00:16So shut the fuck up, right? Rocket Mortgage does it for you.
- 1:00:20Start paying your boys Dan Gilbert.
- 1:00:27I am calling them out. FTC and state attorneys,
- 1:00:32attorney general sue companies that employ unlawful dark
- 1:00:36patterns pretty frequently. Yet these dark patterns can be
- 1:00:39really profitable, can be a really profitable way of ripping
- 1:00:42off customers because some customers won't notice the
- 1:00:44charges or won't seek refunds promptly.
- 1:00:47True. Scott Adams, a controversial
- 1:00:53cartoonist behind Dilbert, died at 68.
- 1:00:56I saw that. I feel like I was just talking
- 1:00:57about Dilbert. Because he was well, because he
- 1:01:00was always saying like crazy shit, he went off I.
- 1:01:03Was trying to tell that to somebody.
- 1:01:04Mega. Trumper.
- 1:01:05No, that's that's what I thought.
- 1:01:07That's the same guy, right? Yeah, I thought, yeah, that's
- 1:01:10what I was trying to say to this person.
- 1:01:11But I know like their dad or grandpa, their grandpa worked on
- 1:01:19the animation for the TV show but I forget if it was Dilbert,
- 1:01:23it was like one of the comics. This is an article from the AP
- 1:01:30by Paul Wiseman bringing charges against the Fed.
- 1:01:35What we do and don't know. President Donald Trump has
- 1:01:39dramatically escalated his confrontation with the Federal
- 1:01:42Reserve is justice. Justice Department is
- 1:01:45investigating and threatening a criminal indictment of the
- 1:01:48independent central bank and serving it with subpoenas.
- 1:01:52This is crazy. The dispute is about, obviously
- 1:01:57Chairman Jerome Powell's testimony to Congress in June
- 1:02:00over a cost of a massive renovation to the federal
- 1:02:03building. So they're basically suing him
- 1:02:06for wanting to do renovations. I think your your dog's out,
- 1:02:09dude. And dreaming hard.
- 1:02:11Yeah, dreaming hard. She's going at it.
- 1:02:16Yeah, this is a nightly occurrence where she'd be
- 1:02:18running in her dreams. That depending it does that all
- 1:02:24the time. But also, she probably has PTSD.
- 1:02:30So there's a fucking clip right where Trump tries to claim that
- 1:02:35he's like, it's like it's supposed to be like 2 point,
- 1:02:38something billion and he's like 2 points.
- 1:02:41Let's say it's 2.7 billion. I don't know, I have the numbers
- 1:02:43in front of me and Trump says like, Nah, now it's supposed to
- 1:02:46be 3.1. And drum pal's like, Nah, now
- 1:02:50and then Trump's like to the guy next to him, he's like, give me
- 1:02:52the paper, give me the paper. And then he hands them the
- 1:02:54fucking paper to Jerome Powell. And they both have hard hats on
- 1:02:57at this moment. Yeah.
- 1:02:59Yeah. And Jerome Powell looks at it.
- 1:03:00He has No, he has. No, he goes, you added the third
- 1:03:04building in there. He goes, oh, the third building
- 1:03:06exists. And he goes, yeah, it was built
- 1:03:09five years ago. And now.
- 1:03:12And now they're doing this. And then our boy Tom Tillis,
- 1:03:15Trump, but he's even like half assed half the time he says that
- 1:03:19he won't because Jerome Powell's terms up in May.
- 1:03:25So Trump, first of all, Trump's the one who fucking put him as
- 1:03:29as a chair and their shit goes for 10 years.
- 1:03:32So I guess right? Or 88, I don't know.
- 1:03:35It goes, it goes longer than it's supposed to.
- 1:03:37Like anyways, doesn't matter. So Trump put him in there for
- 1:03:40the first time, his terms up in May.
- 1:03:43And Tom tells the senator is going to block because the
- 1:03:47Senate has to approve whoever the president nominates for the
- 1:03:50chair of the Fed. And he's saying that he's going
- 1:03:52to block any nominations until this investigation is over,
- 1:03:56which is good. But and then there's the the
- 1:04:00heads of central banks like all across the world are over here
- 1:04:04talking shit. And we're the we're supposed to
- 1:04:06be the like the fucking sane country, you know, And like this
- 1:04:09is the first time this has ever happened, man.
- 1:04:11Like it's like, it's like you're like Trump's trying to get him
- 1:04:15to like lower interest rates because he thinks, you know,
- 1:04:17because it's like he thinks it'll be like a it will be like
- 1:04:20for 1/2 second and adrenaline shot to the economy.
- 1:04:23But then then all of a sudden inflation just skyrockets.
- 1:04:25Prices skyrocket and we're just like in way back like worse
- 1:04:29shape. That's why the feds independent.
- 1:04:31So you don't have like a president who's like, and you
- 1:04:33know, got bad polling because the economy sucks because he
- 1:04:35didn't fucking lower the prices like he said he would.
- 1:04:38Instead he's like taking over Venezuela like so, so he can't
- 1:04:44just do shit like that. Like, you know, and the, and the
- 1:04:48fact that the interest rates are the lowest they've been in like
- 1:04:513 fucking years, like they're low.
- 1:04:52Like, you know, it's like, and, and we just got the report
- 1:04:55today. Inflation was 2.7% in December.
- 1:04:58So it's not at the 2% that they want.
- 1:05:02Prices are still going up two point. 7% annually.
- 1:05:05Yeah. I mean, they inherited 3% and
- 1:05:07they've been at 3:00. Percent till December at 2.7 so
- 1:05:10it's not like it's gotten any better.
- 1:05:13Actually, it was below. Hold on it.
- 1:05:15Was below. 3 I think. No, and actually this.
- 1:05:20Is the truth on it? It's still at 3%.
- 1:05:23We don't know what it is because they won't release any of the
- 1:05:26data, any of the data. They say that they can't give an
- 1:05:29accurate estimate of what it was or what we've been doing because
- 1:05:34of the government shutdown. Well, that was those months,
- 1:05:36those months, but the December 1 dig just come out.
- 1:05:41Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, no, I know what you mean.
- 1:05:43No like for like. October and it's like September,
- 1:05:46October, November, like they're like, oh, government shutdown.
- 1:05:49We just stopped calories and it's like, it's like, no, dude,
- 1:05:53you guys can figure that out. You still, you got the fucking
- 1:05:55information. You can backlog it like it's
- 1:05:57just that it probably sucked, probably sucked and it this
- 1:06:01economy does suck. Dude, if we didn't have AI, we
- 1:06:06didn't have 10 billionaires trying to like take over our
- 1:06:08planet. And like we'd already.
- 1:06:10Be in a fucking scan our scan our faces if it wasn't.
- 1:06:12For Peter Thiel and. Palantir, we'd be broke.
- 1:06:16OK, And then this is the secret. That I, I like, I don't think
- 1:06:21Republicans will be able to articulate, but maybe.
- 1:06:23But the job numbers are gonna be low because of the border 'cause
- 1:06:32we just stopped letting immigrants in.
- 1:06:34So they're going to be low anyway.
- 1:06:35So we'll see if they'll be able to sell that.
- 1:06:38But even with that, the job like job numbers are still even low,
- 1:06:42but they're like those days of like hitting like 304 hundred
- 1:06:45thousand a month. You're not going to see that in
- 1:06:47the Trump fucking term, I guarantee that.
- 1:06:50Like, and that's going to start to like, I mean, it's hard to
- 1:06:53get a job, you know, right now. And, and like it used to be easy
- 1:06:58and prices and blah, blah, blah. And it's like, and we all think
- 1:07:02Trump's is just going to handle like the next three years, like
- 1:07:06smoothly. It's it's going to get better.
- 1:07:08Doubt it. Threats of charges arise.
- 1:07:15Yeah, from A2. .5 billion renovation.
- 1:07:18But like I said, the the Fed is separate.
- 1:07:22It operates separately. There's a lot of people.
- 1:07:24But Scaramucci was talking about he's like, I just think Trump's
- 1:07:27going to be the next chair of the Fed.
- 1:07:30And I think he would love, I think he would love if he could
- 1:07:32do that, but that's terrifying. Then the president, yeah, would
- 1:07:35be able to set rates to do all that.
- 1:07:38He's also talking. He wants to, he wants to, he
- 1:07:39wants to move the rates down to 1%.
- 1:07:42Well, he's, he's also capping. He's saying he's going to cap.
- 1:07:45Credit card interest rates at 10%.
- 1:07:50Yes and no, because. It.
- 1:07:52Depends on when you look at it. So from what I understand, and
- 1:07:56this is, you know, credit card companies.
- 1:07:59So if you if you are like me and you have a credit card, but you
- 1:08:02pay your statement, I'm never paying interest rates.
- 1:08:05They don't make any money off of me.
- 1:08:07So like I don't like the interest rates is where those
- 1:08:09credit card companies make money, right?
- 1:08:11They run for profit. Yeah.
- 1:08:13So they run for profit, so. If you cap these.
- 1:08:16You're going to be limiting the amount of people they're it's
- 1:08:18going to be harder to qualify for a credit card for people.
- 1:08:22So some people are going to get tossed off their credit cards,
- 1:08:24not have them anymore, be slapped with a shit ton of debt
- 1:08:28and that shit's going to go straight to collections.
- 1:08:30There's going to be people who have credit card debt that is
- 1:08:33not caught up at a high interest rate.
- 1:08:36Bro you sound like a shill for the credit card company.
- 1:08:38No, no, I'm just being honest. I'm just saying because you're
- 1:08:41also going to unless. We unless we can charge them
- 1:08:4325%, hold on. No, I'm not saying that that's
- 1:08:45necessarily correct, but there's some people.
- 1:08:47Like the average is somewhere around like 18 to 20%.
- 1:08:50There's some people that don't qualify that pay a higher
- 1:08:53interest rate to to get into the market of building their own
- 1:08:56credit. You're going to be or
- 1:08:58eliminating this. What's the number that you don't
- 1:09:00think there should be a limit? I think that if you wanted to
- 1:09:03gradually bring it. Down and put some sort of
- 1:09:06regulation in it, sure. But I am saying if you do that
- 1:09:10and you cause the financial, well, there are limits because
- 1:09:12it's like predatory, like some of this shit.
- 1:09:14So but if you do but but you could say that 10.
- 1:09:17Percent you're going to be you might crash that market of
- 1:09:22credit cards, which would be a dangerous.
- 1:09:24I'm willing to entertain. I'm willing to understand what
- 1:09:27you're saying. I'm just curious if there is a
- 1:09:30suitable number that's not fucking gouging people.
- 1:09:34True, but I mean like when when I got my first credit card
- 1:09:37because I. Didn't really like have credit
- 1:09:38because I didn't deal with it like that.
- 1:09:40I had to like put money down to get a credit card and then pay
- 1:09:44it off to like build my credit up.
- 1:09:46But like some of the I had like a high interest rates.
- 1:09:48I was always paying my shit. So I was trying to build my
- 1:09:50credit like some of those, some of those options are going to go
- 1:09:54out the window for people if you cap it.
- 1:09:56Cause some of those companies now there's like sofa.
- 1:10:00And like, there's, there's, there's, there's, you know,
- 1:10:02fintech, yeah. But do you think that they got
- 1:10:06into the market? Without with, with, with with.
- 1:10:10The idea of charging. Less of an interest rate or
- 1:10:14charging the same as market share or market value to make
- 1:10:17their money. No, because I think that the I'm
- 1:10:21getting. Kicked by these dogs when she
- 1:10:25like stretches out and kicks me in the back the.
- 1:10:31The technology gets rid of like a lot of the.
- 1:10:34Overhead that makes these companies have to like, you
- 1:10:39know, in order to be profitable get those like crazy.
- 1:10:42You know what I'm saying? So it's like sofa is able to
- 1:10:45offer loans to people that like Bank of America doesn't approve
- 1:10:49because they have like different parameters like of like, you
- 1:10:54know of why, like this person qualifies.
- 1:10:57And so it's like, why, like some of these places can offer a
- 1:11:01higher interest rate on the savings account that you can get
- 1:11:04a fucking Wells Fargo. You know, it's like why they can
- 1:11:07afford it is because like their business model is different.
- 1:11:10True. So I'm not I'm not saying that
- 1:11:12what you're. Saying is not.
- 1:11:14Correct. Like where, you know, it's just
- 1:11:16like there's going to be two, there's going to be like
- 1:11:19there's. Going to be in some way.
- 1:11:21Shape or form like 2 separate outcomes.
- 1:11:23You're either going to see everybody lower their
- 1:11:25qualifications to get a credit card and you'll see people's
- 1:11:28debt expand because they'll be trying to recoup what they lost.
- 1:11:33Fuck their overhead dude. None of these motherfuckers care
- 1:11:36about what it costs them to operate.
- 1:11:37They care much how much money they can get from us.
- 1:11:40COVID is a perfect example. Prices going up because of
- 1:11:43supply chains and supply and demand and then the prices have
- 1:11:46never gone down. And that's, well, I'm talking
- 1:11:48about Visa and MasterCard specifically.
- 1:11:50Exactly. Well, so Visa.
- 1:11:51MasterCard Discover and doesn't. Matter what company, they'll all
- 1:11:55expand though, if they all drop down to 10%, they're going to be
- 1:11:58giving those shit those shits away like candy.
- 1:12:01That's one option. They're going to flood the
- 1:12:03market with cards to try to continue to make the same profit
- 1:12:06margins they were making before. They're just going to need to
- 1:12:08qualify more people. They're going to have to give
- 1:12:10out more and give more reckless people credit and allow them to
- 1:12:14put themselves in debt to then reap the cash flow.
- 1:12:16But I mean, if you're, if you're, you're 10% interest,
- 1:12:19you're paying a lot. Your principal down a lot more
- 1:12:21than you're fucking, you know. Well, true, but like I said, if
- 1:12:25I'm playing my principal down at for most.
- 1:12:27People or depending on where you're at in life.
- 1:12:28I pay my I pay my full statement so it doesn't even matter to you
- 1:12:31what the fucking number is. True. 150% and and they.
- 1:12:36Hate people like me because. They don't make any money off.
- 1:12:38Of me. So I don't.
- 1:12:39They hate people like you because one day, one day you're
- 1:12:41going to slip. Joseph And then we'll get you
- 1:12:44and that's what they want, right?
- 1:12:45So, but so they're going to. Flood and it's also, but it's
- 1:12:48also recurring. It's still.
- 1:12:50Revenue coming in. It's like still turning, you
- 1:12:52know, they could still add the money to like the books to like,
- 1:12:55you know, get the valuation up. Like, like, you know, they hate
- 1:12:58people who don't fucking ever pay them, take their money and
- 1:13:02don't pay them in default. Like that's probably what they
- 1:13:04hate. They don't hate you.
- 1:13:06So. So either they're going to flood
- 1:13:07the market or they're. Going to restrict the market and
- 1:13:10make it harder to qualify and then they're going to limit the
- 1:13:13scope of what they pass out to people and be a lot more not
- 1:13:18frugal. It's not the right word, but a
- 1:13:21lot more picky about who they choose to give credit to and it
- 1:13:24could it's going to toss a lot of people off like that's huge.
- 1:13:27If you're telling me right now if on your largest revenue of
- 1:13:32profit for you as a company, well, it reminds me of it's
- 1:13:36like. Pre-existing conditions, yeah,
- 1:13:38that's what it is. It's like, it's like that.
- 1:13:40It's like, OK, well if you want that, if you want them to do
- 1:13:43that, then a lot of people are going to lose their insurance.
- 1:13:45That's a great way of putting it to be like a healthcare model.
- 1:13:47Bring it down to 10. Percent, then it's like, OK,
- 1:13:49well then we're not going to. Insure you we're not going to
- 1:13:51get in because then credit cards are kind of like insurance like
- 1:13:54we're we're interesting yeah I want to apply for a credit card
- 1:13:57to build my credit Oh well you. Know you in the past five years
- 1:14:01you had a late payment on your power bill so you don't qualify.
- 1:14:04It's going to be some wild almost what circumstances or or
- 1:14:09it's going to check the fucking credit card comes and be like,
- 1:14:11Hey, your standards are. Stupid.
- 1:14:12These people qualify. True.
- 1:14:15We'll see. We'll see.
- 1:14:16It's slippery. Slope is all I'm saying there's.
- 1:14:19Because there's not a lot of ways that it'll go well.
- 1:14:21I don't trust. Where do you get this number?
- 1:14:22Yeah, you're right. They're like and I.
- 1:14:24Do not, and I do not trust those people to make that decision.
- 1:14:27And yeah, like, why is he doing that?
- 1:14:28Yeah, yeah. Like what is the central?
- 1:14:30Banking. So what is our fractional
- 1:14:31reserve? Banking system going to come up
- 1:14:33with yeah, it's like if we if we were like, no, we're on gold
- 1:14:37standard and you can't loan out money to people that you don't
- 1:14:41have for profit plus interest like because that's what our
- 1:14:44banks do If you told them they couldn't do that anymore, they'd
- 1:14:47all be shutting their fucking doors, bro, because that's what
- 1:14:51is it. They're allowed to give out one
- 1:14:52$3 for every dollar they take in.
- 1:14:55That's crazy. Well, I think that they adjust,
- 1:14:59I mean. I don't know what the number is
- 1:15:00but like they. They after the recession, they,
- 1:15:04they made them like be more solvent.
- 1:15:06Well, they could be more solvent, but at the end of the
- 1:15:08day, like they can. Loan out money they don't have
- 1:15:11and with interest and get it back from you.
- 1:15:13Like banks are running for profit, not for money
- 1:15:17stabilization. So article #3 from CBS News, At
- 1:15:22least three Minnesota federal prosecutors resigned amid
- 1:15:25pressure to treat Renee Good killing as an assault on an ICE
- 1:15:30agent. First of all, can I just like,
- 1:15:32dude, fuck ICE. I'm so sick of this.
- 1:15:36This is the dumbest the rationale that people are
- 1:15:39putting behind the fact that trying to make it like this
- 1:15:42woman wasn't murdered like you could.
- 1:15:45If a normal person did that in a road rage incident, you would be
- 1:15:49in jail for murder right now. He'd be charged for murder if
- 1:15:53you were in a if you were a road raging with somebody and all
- 1:15:55those circumstances take place. That's just a random citizen
- 1:15:58there. That which is basically what ICE
- 1:16:00agents are he's going to he that dude would be in locked up right
- 1:16:04now for murder the other way that the other way that I say to
- 1:16:07look at it or I thought. About this is OK, so let's say
- 1:16:12that the video exists, right? He doesn't shoot her.
- 1:16:14Everything happens. He doesn't shoot her, right?
- 1:16:16Is there anybody who being like, hey, you should have shot her?
- 1:16:20Why didn't he shoot her? You know, nobody would have said
- 1:16:23that. So so so why the fuck do we
- 1:16:26think that he should? Have 'cause just 'cause he.
- 1:16:28Did you know it's like Tim, Well, it's like Tim Dillon had a
- 1:16:31good comment. He's like.
- 1:16:32You should just show that video to your kid.
- 1:16:34Go get your kid, sit them down, show that video to your kid.
- 1:16:38And I bet your kid says why did he do that to her?
- 1:16:42That's probably what your kids going to say.
- 1:16:44And there's, there you go. That's how you that's how you
- 1:16:48should interpret it, because that's how an innocent person
- 1:16:51watching that video would interpret Joseph.
- 1:16:53She's a lesbian, though, you know?
- 1:16:55Oh, yeah. A lesbian.
- 1:16:56Oh and she was in an anti ice. Group is what my mom told me.
- 1:17:00Oh, of course they got to demonize this mom who just got.
- 1:17:03Shot point blank range. Well, she was still driving.
- 1:17:06She was dead. And watch Fox News.
- 1:17:08Yeah, that's all they do. Oh, I know.
- 1:17:10But. I was saying this in the
- 1:17:11beginning. I can't believe, well, I can't
- 1:17:14believe that they're doing this. But like I was like, OK, she's a
- 1:17:17fucking domestic terrorist. Charge her.
- 1:17:20Charge her with the being a domestic terrorist, you idiots.
- 1:17:23And then I guess they were trying to stupid.
- 1:17:28Yeah, I mean, I can think of a. Video, especially him calling
- 1:17:31her a fucking bitch after he shot her just makes it just
- 1:17:34makes it worse I think of a video.
- 1:17:36It's not a video, it's an audio recording.
- 1:17:40This happened years ago. There was this old man who had
- 1:17:43this house and there was these two young there's a guy and a
- 1:17:46girl couple boyfriend girlfriend and they used to like break into
- 1:17:50his house and like steal some of his shit.
- 1:17:52They were like young and fucking with this old man.
- 1:17:55Well, he staked them out, sat in a chair in the dark, knew they
- 1:17:58were coming and murdered them, shot this dude shot her and he
- 1:18:03recorded all of it. And after it as he was shooting
- 1:18:06her, he was said they basically the exact same thing that that
- 1:18:10guy did. Where do you think that guy is?
- 1:18:12And they broke into his house. He murdered them because he
- 1:18:16staked them out, waited them, stalked them in his house and
- 1:18:19then like finished them off and recorded the whole thing.
- 1:18:23But he even in that moment, he's like fucking bitch like there's
- 1:18:26a malicious he's in jail. Yeah, because he murdered them.
- 1:18:29But he. Recorded.
- 1:18:30No, no. OK, well.
- 1:18:31You keep saying murdered them. Yeah, he killed them, killed
- 1:18:35them, but I mean, that's technically he was charged with.
- 1:18:37Murder. OK, well I'll glad you didn't
- 1:18:39know that. Yeah, they broke into his.
- 1:18:41House Yeah, they were breaking into his house, but it's
- 1:18:44because. Of the way he chose to do it or
- 1:18:46what song. He wasn't defending himself.
- 1:18:48He was like he knew what was going on and staked them out.
- 1:18:52And the audio recordings are crazy because like, he's talking
- 1:18:56to them while he's doing so. If he's saying so was the way he
- 1:18:59did it. Yeah, the way he did it, yeah,
- 1:19:02though it's the way he did it and the things.
- 1:19:04That he said when he did, which are very similar to what that
- 1:19:08police officer said before he shot that mom, pretty damn
- 1:19:11similar to exactly what he said to that girl before and after he
- 1:19:15shot her because he recorded himself and got locked away from
- 1:19:18that. There's 1000 scenarios or
- 1:19:20something like that happens and the person behind that guns in
- 1:19:23prison. If you want to try to use your
- 1:19:25anti Muslim rhetoric that you just hate Somalis and you hate
- 1:19:28Muslims and that's and anybody that's going to defend these
- 1:19:32people are staying between ICE and getting them out is a
- 1:19:35justification to kill a mom that's just shitty like that.
- 1:19:41You're like, there's no moral moral justification for
- 1:19:44murdering anybody, whether it's Charlie Kirk, whether it's this
- 1:19:49mom. But to compare this mom and then
- 1:19:51be like, oh, Ashley Babbitt who got shot by an officer trying to
- 1:19:54breakthrough a barricaded window during a live insurrection
- 1:19:58inside the nation's capital while they were chanting hang
- 1:20:02Mike Pence. She got shot and she deserved to
- 1:20:04be shot. That's completely different.
- 1:20:06You think if she didn't get shot they would have got Mike Pence?
- 1:20:10No, if anybody goes. Through that window, they're
- 1:20:12getting shot. He told them that if there's a
- 1:20:15federal officer standing there pointing a gun as I'm attacking
- 1:20:19a federal building, If you watch the full video, well, at least
- 1:20:23they all got pardoned. She waves.
- 1:20:25One of the guys through and then the the.
- 1:20:28Last thing she says to them is it's OK, man.
- 1:20:30I'm not. We're not mad at you.
- 1:20:32Yeah, she literally was trying to be nice.
- 1:20:34And then he jumps. In front the.
- 1:20:36Same ICE officer who got drug 50 feet 'cause he jumped in front
- 1:20:41of a fucking car previously and is has PTSD from it.
- 1:20:46Counselling type shit. That dude is the guy that shot
- 1:20:49this woman. So you can't tell me that his
- 1:20:51emotion, that his trauma from his job is not a direct cause of
- 1:20:55why this Mother's Day. Well, Joseph, I don't know if
- 1:20:57you know this. He's in hiding.
- 1:21:00Now. So thanks Lib tards.
- 1:21:03What and what's what's what's what's wild is.
- 1:21:05If a regular beat cop went through something like that guy
- 1:21:09did, number one, you're not. It's again, it's against policy
- 1:21:13to step in front of cars. You're not supposed to step in
- 1:21:15or just shoot, shoot a moving car in.
- 1:21:18Most in most police departments you don't shoot.
- 1:21:21Into a fucking car because what? Happens.
- 1:21:23The foot goes on the gas and then it's just an uncontrolled
- 1:21:25car. It gets worse so, but these are.
- 1:21:30Untrained officers where they're pumping these.
- 1:21:32Guys out. I think they said yeah, they're
- 1:21:34rich, dude. They all get like $40,000
- 1:21:36bonuses. Yeah, Oh no, it's just dudes
- 1:21:39that are down and out on their luck.
- 1:21:40I don't want to join ICE just for the bag.
- 1:21:43Well, you could join. Ice and just fuck with people.
- 1:21:45But there's a, there's, there's a.
- 1:21:46Time constraint with people like like with the other ice.
- 1:21:50Guys. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:21:51Like sabotage, Sabotage. Yeah, like up.
- 1:21:53On the inside, Yeah, dude, what if we.
- 1:21:56Infiltrate ICE. That'd be sick if you.
- 1:22:03Get caught, you're going. You're going to beat the shit
- 1:22:05out of you, dude. But you're, you're a fucking
- 1:22:07patriot, true. That's a movie.
- 1:22:12Infiltrate ICE. Sabotage Black.
- 1:22:14Klansmen. The black ICE agent.
- 1:22:17Yeah, yeah, yeah. But no Venezuelan ICE agent.
- 1:22:23There's no justification for. Murdering anybody.
- 1:22:26And the way that people are trying to justify this mother
- 1:22:28being shot is grotesque and disgusting and it's some of the
- 1:22:32most hypocritical shit we've seen in a very long time.
- 1:22:35It's super frustrating to be around people trying to demonize
- 1:22:38this woman. And look, people try to demonize
- 1:22:41Charlie Kirk. Absolutely.
- 1:22:43Did Charlie Kirk say a lot of wild shit and create a movement
- 1:22:47that a lot of people didn't like because it was Islamophobic,
- 1:22:51homophobic, borderline racist sometimes?
- 1:22:53Absolutely. Was he pro gun violence?
- 1:22:56You keep the Second Amendment? Yeah.
- 1:22:57It's like people got mad when you quoted what he said when he
- 1:23:00got assassinated. He didn't deserve to be
- 1:23:02assassinated for what he said. But if you say what he said
- 1:23:05after he got assassinated, then it's hate speech that makes no
- 1:23:08fucking sense. But then this woman gets shot on
- 1:23:11camera. And the way that they try to
- 1:23:13judge like Christy Gnome up there before there's any
- 1:23:15investigation, she's a domestic terrorist just trying to spin,
- 1:23:18spin, spin part of me. That's how you know that they
- 1:23:21that they know they fucked up. Like, it's like they're like.
- 1:23:23Kids who are like, like trying kind of like, lie their way out
- 1:23:27of, like an obvious situation. It's like, bro, I because you
- 1:23:30called her a domestic terrorist. I know that.
- 1:23:32You know that you fucked up. Yeah.
- 1:23:34And she's like the dumbest fucking person in the world.
- 1:23:37Christina is so dumb dog killer like we thought Bobs was bad.
- 1:23:42We thought the Bobs. We thought was bad.
- 1:23:45You know Marge Bobs is pretty dumb, dude.
- 1:23:47Hey. She got kicked out of a live
- 1:23:49production of. What Beetlejuice?
- 1:23:51For giving it over the pants handy.
- 1:23:52Well I to be fair, I think that they said Beetlejuice 3 times.
- 1:23:56And there was a thing you know and you know.
- 1:23:58And then to get kicked out for giving a hand.
- 1:24:01Job and hitting your vape. That's pretty dumb.
- 1:24:05That's pretty dumb. Who mugs This hasn't Joseph?
- 1:24:09Who mugs? This hasn't where's.
- 1:24:11The other hand. But no, we thought she was dumb.
- 1:24:16And Chrissy Dome is a moron. She is so stupid and it's so
- 1:24:23frustrating and she's bad at the spin.
- 1:24:26Like Caroline Lovett, you give her credit.
- 1:24:27Like she tries to do the real spin.
- 1:24:29I was, I was like. Appreciating her a little bit
- 1:24:33the other day because of her dedication to the to the job to
- 1:24:39like sleazy. Old white guys.
- 1:24:41Well, just no. Just to the to the sorry, I mean
- 1:24:43her husband and then. Donald Trump just to fucking.
- 1:24:46Like that, she will lie. She will.
- 1:24:48Just Oh, yeah, She's indignant. Yeah.
- 1:24:51That that's. The word you know, it's like.
- 1:24:53She's just like, I don't give. I'm I'm here to sell you
- 1:24:57bullshit. I'm Garbles and I'm gonna sell
- 1:25:00you the bullshit. Who was the what?
- 1:25:03What was the one lady who? Was at the White House.
- 1:25:05The blonde woman is like the old carbon copy of her.
- 1:25:10I forgot she's on Fox now, but she she was.
- 1:25:13Pretty good. But yeah, Caroline.
- 1:25:14Levitt master class in like deflection pretty good at it.
- 1:25:17Gotta give her credit for it. Yeah so like cringe.
- 1:25:20It's cringe half the time but it's but it's like OK.
- 1:25:23She's like, she's keeping, she's keeping the straight face.
- 1:25:26Like I guarantee you he'd give her like 10 jobs if he could.
- 1:25:29Because everybody else besides her, she goes to bat.
- 1:25:32Yeah, she goes to bat and she'll fight it out.
- 1:25:34Right. And like if she was in those.
- 1:25:36Like when she's like in those. Cabinet meetings, whenever he's
- 1:25:39like sucking his Dick like he's the last president, it's like
- 1:25:42she'll go up there and she's like actually say some shit.
- 1:25:44Like why? He's the best.
- 1:25:45You know, it's like boom, this bitch, but whatever.
- 1:25:49Fuck you, Caroline. Levitt.
- 1:25:54But now we have. People because they're trying to
- 1:25:56paint her. In a certain way where now
- 1:25:58there's people resigning because they're like, this is fucked up,
- 1:26:01they don't agree. It's black and white playing his
- 1:26:03day. That's that's murder.
- 1:26:06Does she need to be blocking the road?
- 1:26:08No Does she deserve to be shot for it?
- 1:26:10No. Are they out enforcing or did
- 1:26:12they get their car stuck in the snow 'cause they're fucking
- 1:26:15idiots? These ICE agents are so stupid,
- 1:26:18so antagonistic. Like I said, they're just ego
- 1:26:21tripping dudes. I swear they're just down on
- 1:26:23their luck. Well, a lot of them are Proud
- 1:26:25Boys and and the three. Percenters Keepers.
- 1:26:30Oh yeah, yeah. It's real quiet on the
- 1:26:33motherfucking home front. For the the white supremies,
- 1:26:37it's because they're in ice. That's true.
- 1:26:41Didn't even think about it that way, but they all just got jobs.
- 1:26:44So now they all just have government paid jobs.
- 1:26:46I wonder how many? I wonder how many GN Sixers.
- 1:26:47Now they're all sucking on the teeth.
- 1:26:49I wonder how many GN Sixers? Are in ice.
- 1:26:52So many, I guarantee. All of them.
- 1:26:56That's that's I'd like to see. That that's what it is, dude.
- 1:26:58They're the Brown. Shirts, bro.
- 1:27:00Yeah, you know. Just mad Gestapo tactics and
- 1:27:09other. Killing people and playing day
- 1:27:11and shooting moms point blank range, firing three shots at
- 1:27:16them. Then you jump in front of
- 1:27:18someone's car when they're obviously turning.
- 1:27:20It's just so dumb, dude. And I just don't.
- 1:27:23But I mean, we all knew this was going to happen.
- 1:27:26I know, but it's like. Shit, man, it's.
- 1:27:29The pretext bro. You got the war in.
- 1:27:31Venezuela so now you can declare martial law and then you got the
- 1:27:34upright, you know the the protest because you're shooting
- 1:27:37fucking people in the street and then then they can crack down.
- 1:27:40It's just see and that's what I've said is they've been the
- 1:27:43half of them I. Swear they're just like
- 1:27:45gaslighting us. They know they fucked up, so
- 1:27:47they're lying and then gaslighting the shit out of us
- 1:27:50so that way they want people to go out there and riot like they.
- 1:27:55Want. People to go do something.
- 1:27:57It's the same places that he's fucking around in Portland.
- 1:28:00In in Minneapolis, same places as the George Floyd shit, you
- 1:28:04know, yeah, it's like what I said is if there's one, I, I.
- 1:28:07Was how many I said today I was like Donald Trump would
- 1:28:11sacrifice 1000 cops to if there was an uprising, he would.
- 1:28:21Gladly let 1000. Cops die to take away elections
- 1:28:26to stay in office. He's Putin bro.
- 1:28:29He's Putin Putin. Let's 1500.
- 1:28:31Motherfucking Russians die every day, so Ukrainians mowing them.
- 1:28:37Fucking down doesn't. He doesn't care.
- 1:28:38Same with Trump, he doesn't give a shit.
- 1:28:41Yeah, exactly. He calls them.
- 1:28:42He calls the military losers. And suckers bro like he.
- 1:28:45Like he gives a shit about the cops.
- 1:28:46He he pardoned everybody from J6.
- 1:28:48They killed cops, Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:28:54So, I mean, they're all just resigning.
- 1:28:57Final article. I put it in here.
- 1:29:00It's from the Wall Street Journal, the obscure bank.
- 1:29:05Collapse that sent Iran. Into a tailspin.
- 1:29:09Bad loans to regime cronies brought down Ianda Bank,
- 1:29:16accelerating a long running financial crisis by Jared
- 1:29:20Molson. But real quick.
- 1:29:22So in Iran, they're in the streets.
- 1:29:26I heard some fucking. Crazy.
- 1:29:28Number of people have been killed.
- 1:29:29But let's say it's like 2000 at this point.
- 1:29:31Yeah, I've heard that too. I heard the 12 number I like.
- 1:29:34I was like, whoa, whoa. What?
- 1:29:37I was like, what was Israel involved?
- 1:29:40Just kidding, Israel, Just kidding.
- 1:29:42Guys, that was a Gazza. Joke, but not wrong.
- 1:29:48You're not wrong. No, I know, I know.
- 1:29:49But it's just like. So there.
- 1:29:51Was the green revolution in O 9 didn't work?
- 1:29:54And then there's been like a little bit like the the Masa
- 1:29:57Amini whenever she didn't wear her a job.
- 1:29:59That was a couple years ago. There was like uprisings, but
- 1:30:04now this is like an economic uprising turned like political
- 1:30:08and like it's like more people have died already.
- 1:30:11And this has been going on for like, a couple weeks, 3 weeks.
- 1:30:14More people have died already in this one than they did for the
- 1:30:17one a couple years ago that went on for months and months.
- 1:30:21So it's like, like, they're like, really going after it
- 1:30:23right now. But in Iran, I know we got
- 1:30:27listeners. So what Trump said helps on the
- 1:30:31way. Yeah, they cut off the.
- 1:30:32Internet. They cut off phone service.
- 1:30:35Elon Musk is giving them Starling for free.
- 1:30:38For now, but it was just when. When did that happen?
- 1:30:42Because there was. I saw something about today for
- 1:30:45now. Yeah, well, because he's.
- 1:30:47Always. He's like, I'll give you the
- 1:30:48Internet. Right, the Internet trying to
- 1:30:50fuck with the Ukrainians. Yeah, he's like, I'll give you.
- 1:30:52Something he's like, oh you made me mad, never mind.
- 1:30:54Like he's a fucking tool. So I don't know what the fuck
- 1:30:58Trump thinks he's going to do. He puts sanctions.
- 1:31:00On any country that does business with Iran, well, guess
- 1:31:03what, Like almost all of Iran's oil gets sold to China.
- 1:31:06So that's another 25% tariff on China.
- 1:31:09Like, you know, we thought we worked the shit out.
- 1:31:11We gave them the AI chip so that we can get back to normal, so we
- 1:31:14can sell them soybeans and and they just were up in Canada.
- 1:31:19China was just in Canada meeting with Carney like hey hell, you
- 1:31:24should. Chill.
- 1:31:25With us. Yeah, of course I will.
- 1:31:27Duh, duh. That's what happens here.
- 1:31:29They're. Just going to fill the fill the
- 1:31:31void. Yeah, exactly when you.
- 1:31:32Pulled. Out of like.
- 1:31:33Like 32 fucking. International treaties like last
- 1:31:37week and you know, it's like in Russia and China and all of
- 1:31:39them. So it's like they're just going
- 1:31:41to move in bro OK, so. This I'll just.
- 1:31:46Go to the article The biggest heart harbinger that things were
- 1:31:50about to fall apart in Iran didn't come from the throated
- 1:31:52anger of the countries opposition or the frustrated
- 1:31:55hopes the young people hungry for more personal freedom.
- 1:31:57It came from the collapse of a bank late last year.
- 1:32:01I and day. I don't know if I'm saying that
- 1:32:02right. I ANDA, the bank, run by regime
- 1:32:05cronies and saddled with nearly $5 billion in losses on a pile
- 1:32:09of bad loans, went bust. The government folded the
- 1:32:12carcass into a State Bank and printed a massive amount of
- 1:32:15money to try to paper over all the red ink.
- 1:32:18That buried the problem but didn't solve it.
- 1:32:20Instead, the failure became both the symbol and accelerant of an
- 1:32:24economic unraveling that ultimately triggered the
- 1:32:26protests that now pose the most significant threat to the regime
- 1:32:29since the founding of the Islamic Republic half a century
- 1:32:32ago. The banks collapse made clear
- 1:32:34that the Iranian financial system, under strained from
- 1:32:37years of sanctions, bad lending and reliance on inflationary
- 1:32:41printed money, have become increasingly insolvent and
- 1:32:44illiquid. 5 other banks are thought to be similarly weak.
- 1:32:48The crisis hit at the worst possible time.
- 1:32:50The Iranian government's credibility had already been
- 1:32:53battered by a 12 day war with Israel and the US in June and
- 1:32:56showed it couldn't defend its population from attack.
- 1:32:59Its leaders have refused to budget negotiation over the
- 1:33:02country's nuclear program, putting sanctions relief out of
- 1:33:04reach. In November, Israel and the US
- 1:33:06threatened to strike again if Iran tried to reconstitute his
- 1:33:09ballistic missile arsenal or nuclear efforts.
- 1:33:12The country's beleaguered currency, the real, tipped into
- 1:33:17a new downward. Spiral the country.
- 1:33:19Had little ability to stop US enforcement actions that cut
- 1:33:22Iran off from its crucial flow of dollars from Iraq,
- 1:33:25significantly reduced its hard currency earnings from oil
- 1:33:28sales, and put it overseas reserves of foreign exchange out
- 1:33:31of reach with sanctions. After decades of engineering
- 1:33:34workarounds and using shadowy flows of cash to keep the
- 1:33:37country's battered economy functioning, Tehran had reached
- 1:33:40a dead end. And with no tools to address a
- 1:33:42deepening economic crisis or meet the needs of an
- 1:33:45increasingly desperate population, hundreds of
- 1:33:48merchants who don't typically join the country's mass protests
- 1:33:51took the streets of Tehran to demand relief.
- 1:33:53This was a very well connected bank, corrupt etcetera, which
- 1:33:58underscored that the banking system in itself is a channel
- 1:34:01for enrichment of well connected, said Adnan Mazrai, a
- 1:34:05former deputy director of the Middle East and Central Asia
- 1:34:08Department of the International Monetary Fund.
- 1:34:10The failure of the bank added to what they're called a crescendo
- 1:34:13of the loss of legitimacy of the regime following the Israeli
- 1:34:16attack. I End a Bank was founded in 2013
- 1:34:19by Ali Ansari, an Iranian businessman who emerged 2 state
- 1:34:23owned banks with another he founded previously to form the
- 1:34:26new lender. He hails from one of the
- 1:34:28country's richest families and owns a multi $1,000,000 mansion
- 1:34:31in North London. Politically, he's seen close to
- 1:34:33former Conservative President Mahmoud Amina Dodge.
- 1:34:38Amina Dodge? Fuck, I forgot how to say his
- 1:34:40name. Mahmoud, Amina Dodge.
- 1:34:44Amina. Dejad, Amina.
- 1:34:47Dejad, Amina Dejad. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:34:50Yeah, the UK sanctioned on sorry last year just days.
- 1:34:52After the collapse of I and Day, calling him a corrupt Iranian
- 1:34:55banker and businessman who helped finance the sprawling
- 1:34:58Iranian elite paramilitary and business organization, the
- 1:35:01Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
- 1:35:03In a statement in October, Ansari blamed the bank's failure
- 1:35:06on decisions and policies made beyond the bank's control.
- 1:35:09Iende offer the highest interest rates of any Iranian bank up
- 1:35:13don't hire they got the interest rates are too high bro.
- 1:35:18Attracting millions of depositors and borrowing heavily
- 1:35:20from the central bank which printed money to keep the
- 1:35:22institution afloat. Economist said.
- 1:35:24Like others troubled Iranian banks, I and A had a large
- 1:35:27number of non performing loans, one of a range of factors that
- 1:35:30eventually drove it to failure. The largest investment was the
- 1:35:33Iran Mall, which opened in 2018. Investing in malls in 2018?
- 1:35:37You fucked up bro. The project displayed an opulent
- 1:35:41access that made little sense amid the stagnation of the rest
- 1:35:43of the Iranian economy. Twice the size of the Pentagon,
- 1:35:46the mall is a city within a city, with its own IMAX movie
- 1:35:49theater, a library, swimming pools and sports complexes,
- 1:35:54along with indoor gardens. A car showroom in the Hall of
- 1:35:57Mirrors modeled on the 16th century Imperial Persian Palace.
- 1:36:01Economists and Iranian officials said the project was an example
- 1:36:03of self lending, in which Ansari's bank effectively lent
- 1:36:06money to his own companies when it folded.
- 1:36:09A report in the semi official Tasman News agency, citing a top
- 1:36:14central bank official, said that more than 90% of the bank's
- 1:36:17resources were tied up in its project under its own
- 1:36:20management. I and A came under scrutiny for
- 1:36:22years from some conservatives and reformist politicians who
- 1:36:25pushed for the banks closure and argue that the central bank's
- 1:36:28support for the institution would drive up inflation due to
- 1:36:30its need to print money to fund it.
- 1:36:33He just keeps going. But point is corruption if it is
- 1:36:40not with me. I don't stand for it.
- 1:36:45But if it's corruption and it's with me, I support it.
- 1:36:51I defend it. 22 baby. 23, baby mother.
- 1:36:56Real bad I do. I don't know if this is like a
- 1:37:02great prediction. Like Pergosian or you know,
- 1:37:04whatever Venezuela. But I do think that this is it
- 1:37:09for for the Ayatollah, the. Ayatollah and the.
- 1:37:12Gang. Yeah, I don't know.
- 1:37:14What's going to come next though?
- 1:37:15I could, I mean. They do have like Democratic,
- 1:37:18they have like institutions and they do like vote for their
- 1:37:21president. Like, you know, it's like kind
- 1:37:23of shady. Like we're like, they like kind
- 1:37:25of like, you know, like have political prisoner, not kind of
- 1:37:27political prisoners and like kind of like force, like who can
- 1:37:31really run. It's not like Russia, Russia,
- 1:37:33like that's bad. But but it doesn't even really
- 1:37:35matter because the president doesn't have all the says the
- 1:37:37fucking supreme leader. Yeah, but they but the elections
- 1:37:42are, I mean, free and fair. I guess it took sense.
- 1:37:45The only democracy in the Middle East really, besides the Israel,
- 1:37:49it's a theocracy, but. Well, yeah, but if the.
- 1:37:52Ayatollah is out right? So what do we let?
- 1:37:57Them fill the void and decide what they want to do.
- 1:38:00Well, obviously decide for them. I I don't know if that's.
- 1:38:02Obviously. Well, we we can't decide for
- 1:38:06them. Exactly.
- 1:38:07We should probably not do that. That sounds like a great.
- 1:38:09Idea. I agree one last time.
- 1:38:11I just wonder what Trump's going to do here.
- 1:38:13He's going to fuck it up for everybody.
- 1:38:15Just leave it alone. Well, Barack left it.
- 1:38:18Alone, and he regrets it. When there was uprisings in his
- 1:38:21presidency, he wishes he might have tipped the scales a little
- 1:38:23bit more. Well, it just depends on what
- 1:38:26degree you want to be there to tip the scales.
- 1:38:28And then now you sound like Reagan.
- 1:38:30He's not like everybody else who's like, dabbled their hand
- 1:38:33in their shit. Like, I mean, you know, just
- 1:38:35saying if you want to like, if there's people, well, he's OK.
- 1:38:38Well, first of all, he's already said he's going to do something.
- 1:38:40So yeah, he literally said so now he, so now he has to.
- 1:38:44It's like it's like Obama and Syria and the red line.
- 1:38:47If, you know, if you use chemical weapons, that's the red
- 1:38:49line. And then he didn't do anything.
- 1:38:51And people still talk shit about it.
- 1:38:52It's like that in the website for healthcare.
- 1:38:55Yeah. All the things he did, that's
- 1:38:59what he's remember for. As far as bad things, bad
- 1:39:02things, you know. No, in a tan.
- 1:39:03Suit. Tan suit, right?
- 1:39:05Right. Like when?
- 1:39:06When? Those are the bad things, you
- 1:39:07know, Probably. A pretty good president, yeah.
- 1:39:09Yeah. The other ones like with Biden?
- 1:39:12It's like, is he alive? Is he not alive?
- 1:39:15Is his son doing crack? Burisma or Ukraine?
- 1:39:18Which is all BS but still tan suit shitty website didn't I
- 1:39:25think. I think you'd say that the 12
- 1:39:26years of Biden. Obama pre scandal free in
- 1:39:31comparison 100%. Well, obviously in comparison A.
- 1:39:33100% yeah but they the tan no drama.
- 1:39:36No drama, Obama. Tan suit was a scandal baby.
- 1:39:39That was a scandal. With the world on fire, he was.
- 1:39:42Killing it, that's why. Yeah, it was a fresh seat.
- 1:39:45He's good. He had a He's a lefty with a
- 1:39:46good jump. Shot good from three.
- 1:39:48They were just Jelly. What else you got?
