- 0:22Speaker 2: Why you're feeling good today? Because joy is contageous? Chilly,
- 0:25Speaker 2: why are you feeling good this morning?
- 0:27Speaker 3: I'm feeling good because you and I together have done
- 0:29Speaker 3: a really good job refilling our filing cabinet in the
- 0:34Speaker 3: studio with snacks.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Yes, I don't know that I'm proud of it, but
- 0:38Speaker 2: we've done a good job of making sure we have
- 0:41Speaker 2: the things we need.
- 0:42Speaker 3: And the reason I'm feeling good about it today is
- 0:45Speaker 3: because you ever wake up and you go, I'm gonna
- 0:47Speaker 3: feel hungry this morning. Like some days, I can get
- 0:50Speaker 3: through the entire show and not even think about food
- 0:53Speaker 3: or need food, but I can tell I'm gonna need
- 0:56Speaker 3: one of those protein bars later, and I'm just really
- 0:58Speaker 3: glad it's there for the taking.
- 1:00Speaker 2: I need some coffee, and I can already tell I'm
- 1:02Speaker 2: gonna need water and one of those sticks of zero
- 1:06Speaker 2: sugar water sweeteners that we have, because well, I like
- 1:11Speaker 2: flavored water in my my current situation makes me feel
- 1:15Speaker 2: good and alive and whatnot. Yes, chili, that is a
- 1:18Speaker 2: good thing. And now we will survive if something goes
- 1:21Speaker 2: wrong in this little room that's bigger than the last
- 1:26Speaker 2: little room we called home. I'm feeling good today because
- 1:29Speaker 2: Crash let me in. This is one of those rare
- 1:32Speaker 2: mornings where I left my lanyard which has my key
- 1:35Speaker 2: card in the bathroom this morning.
- 1:38Speaker 4: I know exactly where it is.
- 1:39Speaker 2: I ran find my on my iPhone to find and
- 1:43Speaker 2: guarantee to myself that it's at home.
- 1:46Speaker 4: So I texted Crash. Now.
- 1:48Speaker 2: I want to also thank Motley Crue because Crash rolled
- 1:51Speaker 2: in here a little bit late this morning because he
- 1:53Speaker 2: went to see Motley Crue out of Jiffy Loublive last
- 1:55Speaker 2: night and so we got here about the same time
- 1:58Speaker 2: and Crash let me in. Crash, thank you. I appreciate you.
- 2:03Speaker 4: You are the man. Thank you.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Now, if I have to go to the man, yo,
- 2:08Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to borrow somebody's key. But that's a
- 2:10Speaker 2: different story for a different time. And that's why I'm
- 2:12Speaker 2: feeling good. How about you? Good feelings are contagious. What
- 2:17Speaker 2: are yours? You know where to find us? In the meantime,

- 2:26Speaker 3: to bed at night? I'll tell you what the average
- 2:28Speaker 3: Americans sweet spot is coming up?
- 2:34Speaker 5: Top Stories, Top of the hour.
- 2:36Speaker 3: Northern Virginia primary winners are set after yesterday's election. Representative
- 2:42Speaker 3: Don Bayer beat four challengers in the eighth district. Republican
- 2:46Speaker 3: Doug Olivant is going to be facing Representative Eugene Vinman

- 3:09Speaker 3: have a license. Amazon filed plans for four new data
- 3:14Speaker 3: centers on GW's former Ashburn campus, and Louden residents are
- 3:18Speaker 3: not happy about it, calling the area a quote concrete jungle.
- 3:22Speaker 3: As pushback grows against the county's data center Boom. A
- 3:27Speaker 3: National Park Service report says the President's proposed two hundred
- 3:30Speaker 3: and fifty foot Memorial Arch could actually disrupt dozens of
- 3:33Speaker 3: historic DC sites, including breaking the siteline between the Lincoln
- 3:37Speaker 3: Memorial Memorial Bridge and Arlington House. The project already faces
- 3:42Speaker 3: a lawsuit arguing that it needs congressional approval. The Maryland
- 3:46Speaker 3: House passed a redistricting amendment, opening the door to redrawing
- 3:50Speaker 3: the state's congressional map, so it now heads to the
- 3:53Speaker 3: Senate and, if approved, voters will decide on it this November.
- 3:57Speaker 3: And finally, a new survey finds Americans really like their
- 4:00Speaker 3: bedrooms cool at night, with sixty seven degrees as the
- 4:04Speaker 3: sweet spot, although nearly a quarter admit that they fight
- 4:08Speaker 3: with their partner over the thermostat. And by the way,
- 4:11Speaker 3: most of us are side sleepers at fifty eight percent.
- 4:15Speaker 3: Forecast for today, we do have a floodwatch in effect
- 4:17Speaker 3: till eleven this morning. Otherwise claudey with scattered showers throughout
- 4:20Speaker 3: the day. Highs around eighty six right now, seventy five
- 4:24Speaker 3: in Bouie.
- 4:25Speaker 2: And that is the news. Remember top stories at the
- 4:28Speaker 2: top of the hour. When you get up with Toby
- 4:30Speaker 2: and Chilly in the morning. Next your morning mindset. How
- 4:32Speaker 2: you doing today? We'll find out in minutes and we'll
- 4:35Speaker 2: share something that maybe might just give you a little
- 4:39Speaker 2: impetus to take on the rest of the day, or

- 4:44Speaker 2: in your life.
- 4:45Speaker 4: A little free kind of quick therapy. We got you.
- 4:49Speaker 2: When you want to hear Washington's variety from the eighties,

- 4:54Speaker 2: Toby and Chilly in the Morning, and it's time now
- 4:57Speaker 2: for us to talk about you.
- 5:00Speaker 4: How you're doing this morning.
- 5:01Speaker 3: It's called our morning mindset. We try to get you
- 5:03Speaker 3: into a good headspace by finding and sharing a quote
- 5:06Speaker 3: with you.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I'll let this sit in and sink in. A little
- 5:08Speaker 2: bit from Abigail Johnson this morning. It's really simple. It's
- 5:12Speaker 2: just three words, think long term.
- 5:17Speaker 6: I know you might be laying in bed or driving
- 5:19Speaker 6: to work right now thinking yeah, you know, I'm just
- 5:21Speaker 6: doing this job and now this will carry me through
- 5:25Speaker 6: till whatever I find what I'm looking for.
- 5:27Speaker 4: That's not thinking long term.
- 5:30Speaker 2: You know, maybe you've had a couple of difficult weeks,
- 5:34Speaker 2: maybe you've had a difficult year. That's not really your
- 5:39Speaker 2: problem this morning anymore. Why Because when you think long term,
- 5:43Speaker 2: like Abigail Johnson says, you're not gonna let one difficult morning,
- 5:47Speaker 2: week or month define your future.
- 5:49Speaker 4: Right.
- 5:50Speaker 2: Remember who you are, Remember everything you've done, Remember everything
- 5:54Speaker 2: you've been through. Think long term, because you are not
- 5:59Speaker 2: done in the race. Isn't over Keep that in mind
- 6:02Speaker 2: as you take on this new day, and if it helps,
- 6:05Speaker 2: you can find it. Check the stories on Insta, get
- 6:09Speaker 2: to watchfm dot com, the Toby and Chili page, get
- 6:11Speaker 2: ahold of one of us. We'd be happy to send
- 6:13Speaker 2: that quote your way so you can stick it up
- 6:16Speaker 2: on your monitor if you want to. I saw a
- 6:17Speaker 2: picture of some of our quotes on a monitor and
- 6:19Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, look at that. So thank you
- 6:22Speaker 2: for that, and thank you for listening to Toby and
- 6:24Speaker 2: Chilly in the morning. We're coming up in just a
- 6:26Speaker 2: few minutes.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Earlier this week, I shared in Toby and Chilli's Top
- 6:29Speaker 3: Stories that nearly half of adults say they have been
- 6:32Speaker 3: intimate with someone on company time. We're gonna have a
- 6:36Speaker 3: very interesting discussion coming.
- 6:38Speaker 4: Out Toby and Chilly in the morning.
- 6:40Speaker 2: It is ninety seven point one watch FM and Crash,
- 6:43Speaker 2: our producers, joined us for this.
- 6:45Speaker 4: Chili, go ahead and lay it on us well.
- 6:47Speaker 3: Earlier this week in Toby and Chili's Top Stories, I
- 6:50Speaker 3: had the story where forty seven percent of adults, according
- 6:53Speaker 3: to a survey, say they have been intimate with somebody
- 6:57Speaker 3: while they were on company time. And just to be clear,
- 6:59Speaker 3: that doesn't necessarily mean in a physical office. It could
- 7:02Speaker 3: mean in their vehicle, it could mean somewhere exactly, somewhere
- 7:08Speaker 3: out there.
- 7:08Speaker 4: In an office.
- 7:09Speaker 5: That just seemed like.
- 7:10Speaker 3: A really high amount. That's nearly half the people, So
- 7:13Speaker 3: excy right, if you're driving into work right now, think
- 7:16Speaker 3: about it, like maybe you or somebody you work with
- 7:18Speaker 3: has done this. I have not, but I thought I
- 7:21Speaker 3: would ask you, Toby and our producer Crash, whether you
- 7:25Speaker 3: have ever been intimate with someone on company time? Crash, Yeah, yeah,
- 7:31Speaker 3: really in an office space or were you like doing
- 7:36Speaker 3: something for work, whether it was a trip or something
- 7:38Speaker 3: and technically you're on the clock and you both oh, okay,
- 7:43Speaker 3: this was a long time ago.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Sounds about right, So you same with you? Yeah, forty
- 7:48Speaker 2: eight percent sounds about right. Forty seven sounds about right.
- 7:52Speaker 2: I'm in that forty seven percent. I'm not unhappy about it.
- 7:55Speaker 3: I wonder why people are doing it on company time,
- 7:57Speaker 3: Like why can't you meet up afterwards?
- 7:59Speaker 2: Why? Ever, sometimes it behooves itself to that. I've been
- 8:02Speaker 2: on trips overseas broadcasting live and you meet somebody and
- 8:06Speaker 2: things become things. That's company time, I guess, okay. And
- 8:10Speaker 2: then I've been in a studio in an office not
- 8:13Speaker 2: working and they weren't working either, and things become things.
- 8:17Speaker 3: I mean, it's one thing to be perusing on websites
- 8:19Speaker 3: and whatnot and doing some online shopping during company time,
- 8:23Speaker 3: but this takes it to a next level.
- 8:25Speaker 4: I think it's more common than you think.
- 8:27Speaker 3: Obviously.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Yeah, workplace relationships evolve, blossom.
- 8:32Speaker 7: I don't know that these relationships they could be they
- 8:34Speaker 7: are deserting hook up.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Sometimes that's how they start.
- 8:37Speaker 3: Okay, mine was not a relationship. Okay, just to be clear,
- 8:41Speaker 3: it was keep of mind became relationship stress relief. Perhaps
- 8:45Speaker 3: perhaps Okay than one hundred percent of the men on
- 8:48Speaker 3: this show That's Hard been intimate with someone on company I.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Would say that more people in this building have than
- 8:55Speaker 2: have not, Okay, and we'll just let that go by
- 8:59Speaker 2: the way. If you have anything to add to the class,
- 9:01Speaker 2: perhaps maybe you have had some experience on company time.
