- The Drama Drop: everybody, cancel your weekend plans right now. We are dropping a bonus episode because I sit with season four's ultimatum, Blake Robertson, and we dish all of the drama, a lot of behind the scenes that you are not gonna wanna miss. So go ahead, get cozy, get your popcorn, cause the drama drops now. Welcome to the drama drop. I'm really excited to have you on. I mean, it's no secret that Ultimatum has been up in arms for everybody. It's what everybody's talking about. They have a lot of opinions, a lot of questions, myself included. So I'm really excited to have you on and kind of dissect all of it. But before we get into everything, I do have to ask, now that everything is dropped, it's aired, how are you feeling? How has life been? Blake Robertson: Man, life has been crazy. I will never forget the day that I got the text from TMZ that said, Blake, we are going live with your mugshot. And I said, What? I said, what in the world are you talking about? So that for me has been crazy. just I'm very lucky that I've got great people that are supporting me. I think I've lost probably like ten pounds since then, but ultimately ultimately I think I'm handling it really well. And I'm just like I I'm very excited to talk about the show too. I think that I don't want that to take away from the whole experience of the show because there's so many things behind the scenes that, you know, I think really need to be talked about as well, but we'll address everything. The Drama Drop: Yeah, yeah, definitely. Absolutely. Yeah. So kind of just going into what led up to the show, you and Haley's relationship. So she was a nanny for your family, right? Is that correct? Okay. Okay. So what Blake Robertson: Yeah. Y yeah, it she was a nanny. The Drama Drop: what drew you to her? What made you be like, ooh, this chick, I need to go after her? Yeah. Blake Robertson: Haley's hot. Are you kidding me? I mean I I literally looked at her and I was like, Hold up, this is the nanny for my stepbrothers. And so actually The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: my my family went to the Bahamas and so my stepmom who she's Polish she looked at me and she said, Hey Blake, I left you a bottle of wine, go over there and check on Haley and the boys later tonight. And I said, Okay, sounds good. So that kinda The Drama Drop: my god. Blake Robertson: that that that kinda gave me an end to go over there, cry you know, open up a bottle of wine and just start drinking and talking about it. So it all worked it The Drama Drop: my gosh, I love that. Blake Robertson: yeah, it all worked out. They were they were looking out for me for sure. The Drama Drop: Wow, that's like I feel like the premise of a show. I feel like that's you don't hear something like that. I love that. Blake Robertson: Yeah, yeah. The Drama Drop: okay, so now getting leading up to the show, how did this even become a thing for you guys? Were you guys approached? Did you just see an ad for it? How did you guys land on the ultimatum? Blake Robertson: So Haley and I for her birthday, I took her to New York City. So we flew up to New York City to go spend her birthday up there and she had a photo of us that we had took in Austin because we flew out of Austin in New York and she was like, Hey Blake, should I post this? Should I not post this? And I was like Why like just post the photo? And as soon as she posted it, I'm not kidding you, an hour later, she got a DM that said, my god, you guys look like such a fun couple. I think we've got this opportunity that you guys would be great for. Can we hop on a 15-minute call? And we were in the Uber and Haley looks at me and she flips her phone and she goes, Hey, what do you think about this? And I go, What? Let's look the guy up. Is he legit or is he not legit? So we looked him and we're like, whoa, The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: this is the opportunity to potentially do something for, you know, Netflix. And they didn't say what it was, but then we hopped on the fifth we yeah, then we hopped on the call and it was fifteen minutes, and I think we ended up talking for like forty five minutes to an hour. And he just fell in love with the whole, hey, she was the nanny for my stepbrothers, blah blah blah. And it The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: yeah, they I th I think they probably saw that there was a little bit of drama between the two of us too, so The Drama Drop: my gosh. They were like, this fun couple looks so great. Let's see if we can make it messy. Blake Robertson: Yeah, exactly. The Drama Drop: my gosh. Okay. So would you say it was more you that was like, let's take this opportunity? Was she hesitant at all? Because I know you okay, so let me ask this. If the show's coming to you and there's giving you guys this opportunity, and then I'm assuming at some point, you know, they lay the premise out, how does it Become okay, it's you giving the ultimatum if they approach you guys kind of together. Blake Robertson: Yeah. So that was the conversation that Haley and I had. Hey, who's gonna issue who the ultimatum? I think that we The Drama Drop: Okay. Blake Robertson: yeah, we were both we you know, I definitely like had my we had our relationship issues. Like that was not that that was very for real. Where Haley couldn't forgive me for stuff that had happened way in the past that I was like, dude, why are we still talking about this stuff? Like we gotta be able to forgive and move on or we really do need to break up. But then The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: she but then, you know, we were like, Hey, who's gonna issue who the ultimatum? How is this all gonna work? So that was sort of a dialogue that we had kind of going The Drama Drop: Okay. Blake Robertson: into the show. The Drama Drop: Yeah. No, that that makes sense. That makes sense. and so you know, what about I mean, obviously Haley's gorgeous, she's stunning. but what else about her were you like, okay, I do want to marry this person? I definitely can see myself living the Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: rest of my life with her. Blake Robertson: I think what the most attractive quality about Haley is made she I mean, her being a nanny, I get to see her around a lot of kids. another thing too I talked a lot about on the show is she speaks three different languages and that's really important to me. One of the things that I think I I said out there, my family is the most diverse family I've ever met. I've got I've got brothers from Russia, I've got my sis I've got my sister from Guatemala, I've got Polish family. I I mean we literally are so spread out from all over the globe, but we all live together. and we're close and so just seeing how family oriented she was and how well she kind of fit in with everyone that was one of the most attractive things is she was just you know able to get along with everyone so well at the beginning for sure yeah that that thing The Drama Drop: my gosh. Yeah. Yeah. At the beginning. Let's clarify that. Okay. So I know she had insecurities within y'all's relationship. So was she I mean, I'm sure she, you know, obviously had hesitations going on the show. How do you think she ultimately decided that yeah, this is probably the a good decision to do? Blake Robertson: Well so that was the thing that shocked me. Like watching some of her interviews, they seriously make zero sense to me. Like and I I I don't know why she's saying the things that she's saying because Haley was not insecure in our relationship. I mean The Drama Drop: interesting. Blake Robertson: That that wa yeah, that was not the case at all. I mean I made I mean I made it very clear even at the reunion where I like, Hey, I've always complimented Haley on how beautiful she is. And so really The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: it it was such a shock to me to see her get that insecure on the show about Ashley and I. And I think that a lot of that had to do with kind of like my history of dating, where typically I am more into like Latina, curly haired women. And so for her to see me go with a blonde I think definitely was like a The Drama Drop: Mm. Blake Robertson: shell shock where she was like, Wait, this girl's the complete opposite of me. Is The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: he actually gonna like her more than you know he likes me and what if she, you know, Ashley definitely wasn't as feisty as Haley. you know, what if he likes more of that type more than me? Is he actually gonna leave with her or stay with me? So I think that that's where a lot of that came from, which was kind of a shock to me on the show. The Drama Drop: Okay, that's funny. I'm glad you brought that up actually, because I was going to ask you because I know that she did mention well, or on the reunion, you know, you said, you know, I've always been attracted to so I didn't know if it was almost like the reverse. Like you always would go for a type that's like Ashley, and she was kind of the anomaly. So it was like, no, Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: he's going back to what he usually goes to. So I was curious on that. But that is really interesting. If she's the type that you normally date, but I don't know. I don't know. That's really interesting. Okay, so When you decided to go on the show, was there I know you're giving the ultimatum, but was there a point where you were like, What if she finds somebody else? She ends up, you know, going the opposite direction. It doesn't bring you guys Blake Robertson: That The Drama Drop: closer. Blake Robertson: That was the I think biggest misconception on the show. So that first scene that you see Haley and I the last morning together before we enter dating week and you're like and she's like, Hey Blake, what are you gonna do if a guy or if a girl wants to get physical with you and I go, hey, let it happen? Haley and I going into the show, okay, she made it very clear to me, hey Blake, no boundaries. I was the guy that was like, hey, Tom, The Drama Drop: wow. Blake Robertson: should we have like, should we like not sleep in the same bed? What does that look like? And Haley The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: was Haley was like, no, Blake, hey, we gotta just go into this full force. So for me going into the show, I'm like, I've got a beautiful girlfriend that is The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: open that is open to forming connections, that is willing to sleep in the same bed with another dude and I'm like Dude, I'm like, damn, fuck. I gotta like put I gotta get my A game on and I gotta go into this The Drama Drop: Ha ha. Blake Robertson: and I gotta I gotta find me somebody. So the whole idea of like The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: that first cocktail party, me not talking to her, it's because I can't be thinking about her and her connections as she's forming and know The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: that sh know that she's all in to open and open to see whatever happens. But for me, I'm like that's gonna mess up my head. Watching her go The Drama Drop: For sure. Blake Robertson: in to go do I'm like, I gotta focus on who Monica at the time, Monica and Ashley and my connections with them and hey, how am I getting along with them, who do I like more, who do I have more connection and more of a connection with. So that I think that that was huge. The Drama Drop: Yeah. Yeah, no, that scene definitely was interesting because obviously, you know, we get a quick snippet of her snapping at you and making it seem kind of like you're ignoring her or whatever. But I don't I don't I really understood your perspective on that because it does make sense. It's like, okay, you are viewing your person as an ex. You're trying to find a connection elsewhere. And I could see where it's like it's one of those things out of sight, out of mind, but it's like she's right there. You're interacting with her. How in the world can you disconnect from that and try to, you know, really dive into the experience. So I understood where you were coming from, Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: but I I mean, I know obviously as a woman, sometimes our emotions get heightened Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: and you're just like, no, like that's my person kind of possessive of in a sense of like, no, he's mine. Blake Robertson: Right. Yeah Yeah, and I I remember even too, like I 'cause I looked at her and in my brain I'm like, Hey, I've been blowing you kisses. I you know, every time I've The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: asked you, Are you good? You st you tell you're good, you see the scene where I'm like, Hey, what are you drinking? She goes to margarita and honestly I'm thinking in my head, man, David over there is like a stud. Like I I'm like, Man, hey, she's probably gonna go with him or whoever and like I gotta focus on myself. So for me, I think that that was the biggest shock, kinda at The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: that first cocktail party. The Drama Drop: Yeah. Yeah. I yeah. And it's funny just because like you said, the way conversations are played out, it's it yeah, it's mm. But I I definitely understood your perspective on I I I saw both sides. I just feel like no matter what, the situation is sticky and it's just kind of a lose lose, Blake Robertson: Yeah. Yeah. The Drama Drop: but you're putting yourself out there. So it's like, ugh, you just kinda have to deal with that. But okay, so We go to the choice and so you so you were torn between Monica and Ashley. Those were your top two contenders. Blake Robertson: Yes. So actu so yeah, the I had my last date with Monica and I remember looking at the camera and I go, Hey, Ashley was definitely number one, but now Monica is definitely like creeped up and I like I don't know real I really didn't know who I was kinda gonna go with at the time. But yeah, ultimat yeah, ultimately I think Ashley just with my experience living in Miami, she's from Texas, I'm from Texas. I think we really just kinda had that chemistry off the bat and so that's why I ended up choosing her. The Drama Drop: Okay, okay. And so aside from just like background and all that, what else did you feel that you connected with Ashley on that you might have been missing with Haley? Blake Robertson: I think what I really appreciate about Ashley is like she was just very like bubbly and laughing and like we just like for us it was like, hey, we were able to get serious about stuff, but then we could turn it off real fast and like just go like, Hey, let's just laugh and cut up and have fun together and just like enjoy our experience together and just get to know each other. I didn't feel like this pressure in a weird way where it's like, you know, hey Blake, you need to be super emotional with me and give me all this, you know. deep stuff right away. It's like, hey, we really just kinda took the course to, you know, get to know each other, have fun, kinda develop that relationship as well. So I I really appreciated that. But we we were I honestly I'd say with Ashley we had more of kind of a healthy balance than Haley and I at the time. But obviously Haley and I had issues and that's why we were on the show. But that The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: w that was kind of refreshing to be with Ashley. The Drama Drop: Yeah, no, I mean I it's kind of funny because I definitely saw potential in you guys, you and Ashley. And then all of Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: a sudden it just really took a turn, which I need clarity on because I'm really confused because and again, I don't know if it's editing or if there's just a whole lot more to it. So I Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: think when everything kind of really blew up for this foursome for you guys, Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. The Drama Drop: was Ashley posting things on social media like You guys outdoing things or what's made Killian spiral to start texting her? Blake Robertson: So what happened was is Ashley and I were sharing locations just because we went into the experience and Haley had my location and Killian had Ashley's location. So they would they would sit around and they would just watch our locations, like, hey, w where The Drama Drop: gosh. Blake Robertson: are they going? How long are they there? I think Ashley and I went to a restaurant and Haley looks over at Killian and go Killian's told me this since then, but he goes, Yo, Haley's freaking out, my gosh, that's our restaurant. Why is he taking her there? And so, The Drama Drop: my god. Blake Robertson: yeah, and they and they just you know, it just was. It was just insecurity. Even think that Ashley posted that on social media that we had phones that they gave us just for con leg The Drama Drop: Okay. Blake Robertson: yeah, just for content for like us to take of each you know for the show, just like, hey, The Drama Drop: Got it. Blake Robertson: take videos of you guys, and so that's kinda what Ashley was taking it on. But but I mean maybe she did post it on her like close friends or something like that on Instagram. I'm not sure. But yeah, I think that drove a lot of insecurity between the two of them and they they went at it. The Drama Drop: Yeah. I'm honestly shocked that there are you guys have I mean, I know on Love Island they give phones, but it's like very limited to what it can do. but yeah, I'm kind of shocked because I just feel like that just opens the door for you to spiral, Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: tempting to text one another, Haley, checking locations, and you're just sitting there and you're just your mind is just wandering. do you think if you guys hadn't all started texting each other basically that there could have been a different outcome. Like you could you have seen yourself leaving that show with Ashley? Blake Robertson: Who I mean probably. I mean honestly if I'm gonna be like real. I mean I was I was very attracted to Ashley. I think she had an amazing The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: personality. I think like Who knows what'd have happened. I think like I I said this too, it's like we almost hit like a glass ceiling really fast because we were only in our trial marriage for five days. We were having a blast and then it went to, hey, we're having this five hour conversation about Ashley and I forming an emotional connection. We were together for The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: th we were together for three weeks, Ashley and I, and on day five we had this massive falling out with Haley and Killian. We have to go have this, you know, conversation about like they we just got grilled. Hey, are you guys, you know, are you guys making out? Are you guys doing, you know, whatever, are you guys having an emotional connection and we're just like, whoa, like I remember Ashley and I leaving there and we're like, dude, what is even going on? Like, yeah, that that that was The Drama Drop: Right. Yeah. I fe Blake Robertson: that was crazy. The Drama Drop: Yeah. I mean, at least just from the perspective of the show, it was it seemed like you guys were just living out the experience or sorry, experiment. And all of a sudden it just came crashing down because they kind of bombarded y'all and infiltrated. And so Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: Of course, obviously, you guys still have emotional connections to the people that you came there with. So you're trying to minimize whatever their worry is or whatever. But I mean, I really do feel that was probably had to have been the turning point for you and Ashley at least. Because I feel like that's where I really started to see a change in her behavior towards you. She seemed Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. The Drama Drop: very short-fused almost, very Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. The Drama Drop: defensive on a lot of things. I don't know, I just felt like you guys couldn't get back to what those days were before all of that happened. Like she was constantly Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: then now worried about anything that she was doing would u upset Killian or he would find out or anything like that. Blake Robertson: Yeah. And and you you've you even heard her say it too, where she was like, Hey, Killian told me if he watches this show back and he sees anything, he's gonna rip the ring right off my finger. I mean, she was very The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: like cognizant of okay, hey, cameras are on me. I gotta be super careful. Even like her touching me. Like we had this huge blow-up incident about like her touching me on the knee and you know The Drama Drop: Mm. Blake Robertson: k Killian was screaming at her like you're sucking his dick, like what are you doing? And it was just The Drama Drop: my. Blake Robertson: like, my lord. So yeah, there was so much there was so much stuff that happened behind the scenes of just like just massive insecurity. And it's not just Killian either. Like Killian and I have gotten really close since the show just because we're like we're o we're the single guys. And The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: what One the things too that you know he's I think he's talked a little bit about, but it wasn't just him. I mean, Haley, yes, I blocked her, but she was on the star 67. I mean, she was blowing The Drama Drop: my god. Blake Robertson: me up, and one of the things that I do absolutely need to take accountability for that Ashley kind of caught me on, and you know, I laugh at it now, is the whole movies by yourself. I think that was like episode six, where she got me and she was I you're not at the movies by yourself, and I just kind of sat there and was like, Yes, I am, but she knew yeah, I mean she got me. Like Haley was blowing me up, saying, Hey, we need to. get together, yeah like Ashley, you know, she was all she hated Ashley. So even seeing them friends today now is such a shock for me because Haley viscerally hated Ashley, like, hey Blake, she's a slut. You know, there was a but there was a bunch The Drama Drop: my gosh. Blake Robertson: of out there was a bunch of allegations about some stuff that Ashley was doing on the outside that I'll let her speak on, but I'm not gonna get into it. But anyways, and so she basically would drag me and said, Blake, hey, you need to come spend the night with me on the dark days. She would Haley would just go book a hotel and say, Hey Blake, I'm staying here. You need to come here if you love me and blah blah blah. I'm like, damn, okay. And so I just would have to go show up there just to kind of appease the situation. So definitely they yeah, definitely They kinda you know, cramped the whole trial marriage for sure. The Drama Drop: Yeah, yeah, for sure. And I did earlier this morning, I did see a little clip. I don't know if so maybe you know what I'm talking about. Yeah, Killian and Jevin, they're talking about and they said Blake Robertson: Yeah. Yeah, I do. Yeah. The Drama Drop: that you and Ashley were hooking up basically the entire time where there were no cameras. Blake Robertson: Yeah. No, I mean so just I'll be real. I mean what happened was this Ashley and I were getting accused so much of doing stuff that at one point The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: we were just like, Fuck it, like let's just The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: you know, make out or do whatever. And so it's like yeah, I mean there was a little bit of that going on behind the scenes, but not like anything, you know, super crazy or anything like that. But it was The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: just made it like and I I say that casually, but I mean like generally if you understand the amount of like insecurity and like if your phone is being blown up a hundred times and like you're getting like I was out on the phone every night till three AM. Like I was The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: out with Haley just saying, Blake, what are you doing? my gosh, tell me more and I'm like I'm literally in bed sleeping. Ashley is on The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: Ashley is on the couch. But no The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: no no, there's no way you guys have to be like I'm like okay and I would just sit there and just take it and take it and she would do the same thing. And finally we just you know, we w I was that night that we went bowling and we had a couple of drinks and we were just like Yeah, so Yeah. Yeah, and there's nothing The Drama Drop: Right. It's like they're already assuming it, so okay. Blake Robertson: there's nothing you can do about it, so I might as well just let it go. Yeah. The Drama Drop: my gosh. When all this was going on and you know, Haley was basically not letting you live out the, you know, experiment, were you did you regret doing this at all? Like going on the show. Blake Robertson: Did I d did I regret the d going on there? No, I mean f for me, I I felt like so weirded out because like I There's three seasons of this already. So like we literally all knew what we signed up for. So like that was the The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: thing that was so shocking for me is I was like, I'm sitting there and I'm like, guys, like, I I said I'm like, we all signed up for this. You see my hand do like my little writing motion. I'm like, what is going on here? Like, what do you think is gonna happen when you live with someone for three weeks? And another thing that I pointed right back at Haley and Killian, and I was and I I I just said, Guys, do you have an emotional connection? And Killian goes, Yes. And I'm like, So what is going on? I'm like, so what is the deal here? Like, why are you guys having emotional connection? connection and Ashley and I do too. So like what's the problem? So I'm like, yeah, that that was what was y that to me, no, I I didn't regret it at all just because I really felt confident like, hey, I know what I'm doing. The Drama Drop: Yeah, no, and I I honestly, yeah, absolutely. I'm glad that you said that because me and my husband when we're watching this and I was just basically saying the same thing. I'm like, I'm really confused when people get upset at these certain situations because unless you were dragged there and you had no idea what kind of show until it was day one and cameras started rolling, I don't understand what you thought was really going to happen, you know. And Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. The Drama Drop: kind of like what Nick and Vanessa say say at the reunion, how that's why they emphasize the term ex. It's like you have to view them as an ex if you're Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. Right. The Drama Drop: going into this to really dive in. but yeah, I mean, that's why I was really shocked, you know, cause Haley's saying that she was so insecure with everything, which obviously it kind of feels like that's how that played out with how she was reacting. So that's Blake Robertson: Mm. Yeah. The Drama Drop: why I was so shocked that she would have even agreed to go on to onto the show. Blake Robertson: Yeah. I mean on that note too, just to add a little bit more context too, like the whole insecurity thing by Haley, we Haley was living in Austin at the time and I'm obviously here in like north of Houston, Nacadoches. She was so like non insecure that she was like, Hey Blake, let's move in together. So she moved in with me and we were living together before going onto the show. So like this this whole like nar The Drama Drop: So interesting. Blake Robertson: this whole narrative of like like if we had a dog together, we have been on we went to Mexico, like we have been on on all these like amazing trips and like There's nothing that was lacking in our relationship other than like what she would say, the emotional, which I hope I get to talk about that because that for me was like overwhelming, where I'm like, okay, there's needs, there's there's the difference between wants and needs. But yeah, I just that her whole idea of like there was there was so much insecurity going in. I was like, then why did you feel so comfortable to move in with me? We've got a dog together, like, it just didn't add up. None of it, none The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: of it that I've heard from her so far. Even I think whenever and that's why the comments too were just kind of grilling her and going. Wait, why what do you mean? Like it's just doesn't make it just doesn't make any sense. The Drama Drop: Yeah. Yeah, and we can expand on that because yeah, she did say a lot why she wasn't ready was because she felt like she wasn't getting enough emotionally from you. Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: but like you said, you guys were progressively moving, you know, towards what seems that direction. I just what was it exactly that she needed that you that she felt you weren't giving her? Blake Robertson: man, this is like PTSD talking about this. So I so literally if I like the best way that I can describe my like Life with Haley is if you've ever been to Circus Olay and you see the guy that can juggle like 20 pins at one time, that was me. Like if you saw my calendar, I wish I I should screenshot it and post it online. I had The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: I I had the first on every month. I had to say, Hey Blake, you have to buy her flowers on the first of every month. Every other day, yeah, I've got to write her a note. I've got to make her breakfast every morning. And it's like she was seeking so much external validation of like, hey, you need to make me feel loved. And now since like being able to reflect Reflect on, and I'm like, okay, that your self-love needs to come from inside you, and you loving yourself and you having like joy inside your heart that doesn't come from somebody else, and that person in your life is a compliment to you. Not the person, The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: not the person who makes you feel love, it's the person that makes you feel you know special on top of that. So the The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: whole and so that's and that's even where you see like the whole, hey, but I need all five love languages. It's like Okay, is that I get it. Like, okay, hey, you want all five, but it's like you want all five every single day from me. And it's like The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: that is like that's a lot for anybody to where it's like I can't The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: the or like I can't even go to work or run, you know, I've got a I've got a couple of businesses and I can't even go to the gym because it's like, man, hey Blake, you need to be completely focused on what she needs at all times. So that was The Drama Drop: Wow. Blake Robertson: yeah, looking back, I don't even know how I put up with that for as long as I did. My family too, they like, Blake man, hey, that's not normal. so The Drama Drop: Yeah, that's a huge toll. I yeah, like you said, it's like the full time job trying to check all those boxes. Blake Robertson: Yeah. Yeah. The Drama Drop: And I would argue too, like at least for me, like I don't want to have to tell you to do those things, you know? It's like I don't wanna be like, where are my flowers every I would if you want to get them for me, that's great. If it's a surpr I feel like those moments are more meaningful than a routine, because then it just kind of becomes robotic and Blake Robertson: Yeah. And and that's the way our relationship was too, is because I would go buy her the flowers, but then she would literally tell me whenever I'd buy her the flowers, thanks. And it w it was and it The Drama Drop: No. Blake Robertson: was and it wasn't exciting because she had set the precedent that she expects this, so I would The Drama Drop: Mm. Blake Robertson: do so then I would do it and it wasn't good, but if I didn't do it then it was like a double negative. So I was just sitting here and I'm like, dude, there is like no win here. This was j this was just The Drama Drop: Right. Yeah. Yeah. Blake Robertson: like I like there's nothing that that there's no way I'm you know The Drama Drop: And that drains a person for sure. Blake Robertson: Coming out on top. it was exhausting. The Drama Drop: my gosh. yeah, no, I I really I can't even imagine yeah, because then it's like you're damned if you do, damned if you don't. It's like Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: we're hitting a wall. so do you think had you not gone on the show that you guys would have still been together, or do you think that kind of amplified the breakup? Blake Robertson: I think that if Haley and I had not gone on the show, we would still be together today. Just because for me, in a weird sense, I've been so like, you know focused on Like just my business and myself that honestly I haven't spent a lot of time like dating. like I like I've The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: I've never been the guy that's like had 50 girlfriends and I'm out and about like playing the field. That's really never been me. And so for me, I just getting to I've been a always a one-woman man. It's like, hey, I'll get The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: a girl, I've dated for two years, and like that's my person. So getting with Haley, I think for me, I and I haven't had a lot of girlfriends either. So it's like, hey, when I was with her, I was like, okay, hey, this is just what she's asking of me. So I'm just gonna do it. And I have a people-pleasing mentality. And so I think that it would have gone on for probably five or six years, not two years. And then we would have looked up and went, my gosh, man, I you know, I would have been kind of, you know, just I would have delayed the inevitable outcome of finally The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: getting to realize, like, okay, hey, this is not healthy, honestly, for either of us, because you're expecting things from me that you want. And hey, The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: kudos to you. Go find some guy that wants to do that for you. And wish him the best of luck. But for me, I'm like, I need like, I need a girl that might be a little bit different that that The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: hope that I'll definitely be able to find. So The Drama Drop: Yeah, for sure, for sure. wait, okay, I just forgot that there was a question that I wanted to ask in about the trial marriages because I was super confused. I was trying to figure it out. but there was a point. Okay, so obviously we know the whole thing with Killian and the group chat and all of that, Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. The Drama Drop: and then it just led to more issues, and then it felt kind of Ashley was really defending Killian like she didn't want to believe. Things were said or he was even a part of that, you know, he she felt very defensive. And then there was a time when you guys, I guess you were at a park. I don't know, you guys were sitting somewhere outside. Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: And you know, you were pretty much explaining, yeah, he pretty much admitted because to your point, when he once he said 95%, I'm sure I didn't say that. Blake Robertson: For sure. The Drama Drop: That to me was like, okay, you said it. Cause if there's Blake Robertson: Yeah, yeah. The Drama Drop: any sort of inkling, if you were so for sure, you would be standing on that ten toes down. Blake Robertson: Yes. The Drama Drop: so I feel like he was trying to give himself a little pass, like, okay, if this does come out, there were cameras were caught Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: anywhere. I can kind of save myself by giving that percentage. So, you know, she w really was taken back by learning, he said 95% and honing Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: in on that. But then she brought up Haley was talking to Killian about you and Haley's sex life, which was Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: manipulating Killian. And that I Blake Robertson: Right. The Drama Drop: was really confused on. What like how what what did that even mean exact like how was Haley talking about you and her sex life manipulating Killian? Blake Robertson: Yeah. I g I guess Haley just was like, Hey, Blake and I have a good sex life or whatever and like we have sex often or whatever what I don't know the exact details of it, but it's just like in that to Killian was like, my god, the all like how is he going three weeks without you? And so I guess he must be so I guess now he must be like trying to hook up with Ashley and I th was it was reciprocated too. I mean Killing was talking about their sex life as well. And so it's like I think I think that just led to like insecurity also that goes, Wait, wait, wait, what? You guys too and us too? And like they just immediately started to assume like, okay, hey, they were just trying to connect dot they were just trying to connect dots. Yeah. The Drama Drop: Right. Yeah. So it's like, all right, whatever we had going on that must be going on over there and then just spiraling. Blake Robertson: Yeah, yeah, yeah. The Drama Drop: my goodness. Okay, so I mean, I know you probably can't speak too much to Haley and Killian's like time, but I know that you said that they said, you know, they had a little connection. But did they do anything besides just really spiral within themselves? Blake Robertson: Well so Killian definitely was trying to make moves. Like, let's be so real. Like, he he there The Drama Drop: Okay. Blake Robertson: was like this whole like accusation too of like him and Haley, you know, laying in the bed together and he's like trying to like make make moves and grab her hand. And like she would just kinda like slide it away and be like, Hey, get away from me. But But and then a lot The Drama Drop: gosh. I'm sure a shot to his ego. Blake Robertson: Yeah, exactly. But a lot of what was not shown on the show is Killian and I had like extreme, extreme beef. Like we like there were like whenever the whole group chat thing went down, I was The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: I was having my family day with Ashley. So Ashley and I met my dad and Aneta and Vera, we all sat down together and then whenever we went out to do our interviews, I remember getting on Instagram and looking and Haley had sent me the group chat messages and I was like fuck no, absolutely not you're not talking I was The Drama Drop: Right. Yeah. Blake Robertson: like I was like dude you are not talking to my girl like this. And so The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: I call I so I called production, I was like, hey, set me up talking to this guy right now. So they were like, okay, let's do it. And so I went up to Killian's apartment and him and I just had like a heated argument where I was like, The Drama Drop: Mm. Blake Robertson: dude, I was like, bro, what like what are you doing? I'm like, dude The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: how like how do you think that that's okay? Like like That is like I get locker room talk, but like, bro, how are you letting that leak? Like, and why do you think that that's okay to say? And so we went at it more times than not. So I think that that was kinda interesting for me watching it back is it almost made it look like Killian and I just kinda like ignored each other and it was all The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: yeah, it was all like, Hey, I'm focused on Ashley and it it but yeah, th that was Yeah, that was way more Yeah. The Drama Drop: Yeah. It's like you guys can handle that over there. That is really interesting because that would be a great episode to see. I mean, Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: like, I'm yeah, I'm very interested on that and why. And yeah, it is funny the way Haley describes it, like he's just openly doing that. It's not like he's away and she went through his phone and found it. Not that it should have ever been discussed Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: or worded in those way in that way. But yeah, he just had it right out there and open. Blake Robertson: No, so I and and so I just want to preface this. The group chat was not okay. That was fucked up. But but The Drama Drop: No, right. Blake Robertson: and but another thing too that what Haley even talked about, I think on the A D podcast, What's the Reality is hey, I just The Drama Drop: Mm mm. Blake Robertson: I just I just happened to go through Blake's journal and saw him fantasizing about Ashley. I don't know if saw that. Ma The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: I ha I have a tablet with a passcode on it. And so she literally went in there, checked the passcode, and was like reading through my notes on dating week. And I'm like Dude and so she read about Ashley, Monica, Casey, Alex, Jessica, Grace, like everyone that I wrote about, I'm like You have notes too. Like you were talking about David and how you're attracted to him. And it's like, I'm not out here trying to like get mad at you about that. We're broken up. We're in this experience. Like, why are you acting like that's some like proof? And so Haley, The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Blake Robertson: Haley, we Haley is the queen of like going through phones. So the whole k the whole the whole Killian thing too, like on that note, again, not okay, but like she took her phone and I think he was sitting in the front seat and she lifts it up. It wasn't just like a casual, like, hey, what's going on? on over there, let me The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: see. She lifted it up, zoomed in, is taking photos, and then like it's just it it like the the yes, great for her, she clocked it like, hey, he was up to something bad, but like The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: you can't be just like snooping on everyone all the time. And that kind of The Drama Drop: Yeah. Yeah. Blake Robertson: later in our relationship you'll hear about it, but it's like I was constantly being recorded our whole entire relationship. Like Hundreds, if not thousands, of videos of just like every time we're speaking, she's got her phone right there just on record. What's what's about to happen? The Drama Drop: Gosh. Blake Robertson: And you know, that's a trauma response to just the way that she grew up. But that right there is like obviously it sounds everyone gets it on the outside, but for me now it's like, dude, that's not normal. Like I don't The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: care, I don't care what you've been through. Like that's that's not what a you know, a loving person does. No. The Drama Drop: Yeah. No, you can't live your life like that. Constantly feeling like, you have to walk on eggshells, watch what you say, because you're just gonna constantly be monitored. And I thought it, yeah, like you said, Haley also, you know, is writing notes. I felt like that was kind of a theme for both Ashley and Haley. It's like you guys could do something and then they could get upset at you, even though Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. The Drama Drop: they were doing the same thing. I mean I feel like the last blow up it was really with you and Ashley was when you guys went out to dinner, you know, and she's asking you about the movies. And then I think you turn Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: around, you're like, Well, aren't you hanging out with Killy? And it's like, Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: no. Like, I don't understand that part. It's like I Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: think partly it could be why they got upset. It's like they knew what they're doing or what their thoughts are, what they're saying. Blake Robertson: Yeah. Yeah. The Drama Drop: It's like, ooh, but I don't want them to I can do it. I don't want them to do it though, you know. Blake Robertson: Yeah, it A milli so that right there and I I really did like I I just put it on Ashley direct because Ashley and I always got along, but her and Haley genuinely did like and and it was more so Haley just being like so mad at Ashley just about us matching together. But I mean Haley would call out Ashley all the time. I know you're staying with Killian, I know you're doing this. And Ashley really didn't have that ability at that time to stand up for herself to Haley, which is why you kinda see at the girls' night she's just sitting there and Haley's just kinda The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: going to town on Killian and it's like, dude, that's you're a man and she's just going at him and you're not saying anything to defend him and you end up marrying him like you obviously feel a certain type of way about that. But since The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: I think that since I think that I made her feel comfortable to like, hey, you can speak your mind, you can stand up here, she almost would take out her feelings on Haley at me. And say, Hey The Drama Drop: Mm. Blake Robertson: Blake, since I don't have the ability to stand up to her or to stand up to Killian, I'm just gonna come at you and say, you know, I know what you and Haley are up to and I'm like, Well time out. I know exactly what you and Killian are up to and I just haven't said a word because honestly, like truthfully, I don't care. Like you guys go do whatever you like, you guys do whatever. And like The Drama Drop: Yeah. Yeah. Blake Robertson: 'cause at that point too we kinda knew. It was like they were freaking out so much that we were just emotionally drained from the whole thing. The Drama Drop: Yeah, for sure. And I wonder too, because I feel watching the show, I feel like you handle yourself very well in conflict. You know, you're very calm and try to choose your words carefully. and I feel, you know, if Ashley then all of a sudden got, you know, all of this I'm trying to find the word, why am I blanking? Blake Robertson: Ha. The Drama Drop: courage or being able to just like Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: stand up for herself. And it's like, okay, well, I can easily take it more out on Blake because he's a lot calmer. I feel like I never really saw you get super angry. And you know, obviously everybody has like their breaking points, whatever, but I feel Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: like you handle conflict really well. And I feel like that's easier to show up more in anger or get more defensive or have all that energy towards someone who you know is not necessarily going to do the same thing back or more. yeah, Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. Yeah. The Drama Drop: because I mean, you know, you see when Killian, he's like, shut the fuck up, whatever. and then Haley jumps in to defend her, which I was like, my gosh, okay. Blake Robertson: Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. The Drama Drop: but yeah, it's like you just and then I feel like it's easier to kind of minimize yourself. But then when you have somebody that's okay. It's almost like feeling safe with them, Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. The Drama Drop: which I found interesting. But yeah, I don't know. I yeah, it's it is very interesting to know, you know, like Monica and Luke and David and Casey, they all kind of really didn't engage with their exes at all and then seeing the outcome of that. Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: So it I would have been so curious to know what the actual outcome would have been had all of that not gone down. so going into the proposals, I know you said you were sixty forty. on if you were going to propose to Haley. Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: So being sixty forty, I just need to know like what made you think, Okay, yes, I should do it. Sixty forty, that's Blake Robertson: Okay. The Drama Drop: a huge that's like, you know, in the perfect world you wanna be a hundred percent or you know. Blake Robertson: Almost fifty yeah. Yeah. So so I think I think it would change like I don't know. I I think the ultimatum we need to add like a third option, which is like, hey, you can The Drama Drop: Ha. Blake Robertson: leave you can leave together like still dating. Because I mean it's it's The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: it literally is like marry or move on. Like okay, The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: hey, you're getting eng all right, I say marry, you're getting engaged or you're moving on. So for The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: me, for me, Haley and I had like conversations off camera where we were like, okay, dude, like what are we gonna do here? Like, this is not gone well. She is like beyond stress. Like that TV show was like She's not cut out for that. Like that was not good for her mental health. Like that was she was on a downward spiral the whole entire time and I was worried about her a little bit. But it's like, okay, we are leaving and what's the game plan here? Like, hey, what should we do? And so I talked to her a little bit about it before. I was like, Hey, how do you feel about us like, you know, just getting engaged? We can leave here together and then we can just do like the hey, we'll be engaged for four years, you know, way that that and then and The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: do on and do honestly like what Luke and Monica did, which is hey just repropose The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: at a later date versus you know hey we're leaving the show and let's break up and then we'll show up back at the reunion and we'll be sitting by each other on the couch almost like you know Jevin and Alex did which is hey we're still together and it's like yeah it's so for us we just decided hey let's just do the long proposal route and she told me hey Blake if you propose I will say yes which she said on the other podcast that she didn't know what she was going to do. I literally she wrote me a note saying that she was going to say Yes. And so for me, for The Drama Drop: Right. Okay. Blake Robertson: me for me, even in that moment, like getting down on one knee, one of the reasons why I was in tears is, man, that is the most vulnerable I've ever felt my whole entire life. And I think that every man goes through that. It's like that is a crazy moment. The Drama Drop: Yeah. yeah, for sure. Cause I mean, it's like even though if you're going into it confident knowing what the other person's gonna say, I mean, Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: it's still it's like you are laying it all out there. but that is a good point though, because I brought that up on a podcast that I recorded yesterday, I think. hasn't gone out yet, but I brought up kind of like the whole proposal thing of okay, you know what? It's kind of like we can just go ahead and propose because Ultimately it's like I don't necessarily want to break up with you yet. I don't want to leave without Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. The Drama Drop: you. There's still things I maybe want to work out with you, but I don't want to break up. So why not just go Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: ahead and propose? Cause it's not like as soon as you propose, you have to turn right around and then officially get married. So it's like you kind Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: of have that wiggle room of like, Okay, well, if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. But at least I can leave with you. yeah, because I was honestly Blake Robertson: Yeah. You wanna hear something crazy? The Drama Drop: shocked that everybody did get proposed to. but then when I was thinking about it, I was like, well, I mean, if they have no intention to break up, maybe they're not necessarily wanting or it's gonna happen, get married. But Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: at least like, okay, I can leave with you. Don't have to say bye yet. Yeah, absolutely. Blake Robertson: You wanna hear something crazy? So Whenever we got when when all of us got engaged, they had a like Vegas ordainer or whoever on site. See now you can get married in Veg The Drama Drop: my god. Blake Robertson: like how you can actually sign the documents in Vegas and The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: get married. Yeah, they had one of those people on site. And so they were like, Haley and Blake, do you guys want to go ahead and tie the knot right now? Could you imagine could you imagine? And thankfully all all of us were like rational enough to be like, nah, we're not doing that at all. But could you imagine The Drama Drop: Yeah, no. Blake Robertson: if we would have just in that moment you're feeling like super good and emotional, you just go, Yeah, let's go sign. The Drama Drop: Yeah, just on a high. It's like, yeah, let's do it. my gosh. That would that's Blake Robertson: Yeah, yeah, yeah. The Drama Drop: actually crazy. Yeah, because I was sitting here thinking it's like, yeah, like they don't have somebody just ready Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: to go. Well, okay, never mind. I guess Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: I guess they do. okay, so obviously we know that you and Haley are no longer together. Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. The Drama Drop: okay, so can you break down the timeline a little bit more? Like when did filming like when was the proposal of the show. When did that happen? Blake Robertson: it happened Mother's Day, I think it's May something. I'm not entirely sure today. The Drama Drop: okay, yeah, yeah, that's right. And then when and when did you guys film the reunion? Blake Robertson: We filmed the reunion in June, June of twenty sixth. The Drama Drop: Okay, okay. And then so how long did you guys stay together after the proposal? Blake Robertson: Haley and I we s we stayed together till November is whenever we finally separated. And she I got her all moved into Dallas and that's whenever we finally were done. The Drama Drop: Okay. All right. So post show, how does your relationship go after that? Like obviously we know you guys break up, but what led to the breakup? did were when you left the show, let me first ask this. I know you said you felt sixty forty, but did you feel more positive leaving the show or were you like, we're probably just right back to where we were? Blake Robertson: No, I mean honestly, we kinda like and and this the thing that like I would love to have people ask Haley too, is like whenever we left the show, Haley, I was like, Hayley, you don't don't get a job, just chill. She said, Blake, I just want to focus on making TikToks or whatever. And then we were doing wedding if funny enough, this is crazy. We were doing like wedding modeling stuff too. So I say yeah, The Drama Drop: my gosh. Blake Robertson: what so like we would just fly like we flew to New York and we took photos on the Brooklyn Bridge and stuff like that, and we did we did Arkansas The Drama Drop: wow. Blake Robertson: and all all over Texas. And yeah, we just we went just take kind of like modeling stuff on the weekends and just have some fun and so we traveled a bunch. We were able to you know have a blast. I sent her to London and Paris and said, Hey here's my car, go have fun with your girlfriend. And yeah, so I mean we we were good and then it got to the point where she just It was the whole like just emotional needs. It was like, hey, and I'm not I'm like and I have to take accountability too because looking back at it, I should have been the guy that just tapped out, like off rip. I should have just said, Hey, like this is not for me. But I did. Like I would I would like, Okay, tell me exactly what you need. But like I want this, this, this, and this. And I would be, you know, Mr. Perfect for two weeks and then I would. The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: I get I get exhausted and I'd start to slip up on stuff and she would The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: get mad she would get mad at me about that and I'd be like, Okay Alright, so that went on probably all the way up until you know, our anniversary trip where we went to Charleston. And then yeah, Charleston was sort of the I guess you can call it the beginning of the end where it's like, Hey, we go out in Charleston. We actually went there to look at rings. So we were gonna buy w yeah, we were gonna buy her another ring and went out to the bar that night. One of the things that I've made perfectly clear is Haley and I do not have the type of relationship where it's like, Haley, don't talk to any other dudes and Blake, don't talk to any other girls. Haley has guy friends that she'll go out with and you know, go to lunches with and she'll go out on girls' nights and have a blast and same thing I mean I've got guys that are single friends. We just had healthy boundaries that said, hey, don't be giving out your Instagram to anybody, don't give out a phone number, and obviously don't cross that line of like cheating or doing anything that's like would destroy somebody. So for me I love to meet people. I think that it's incredibly boring if you just stay with, you know, you and your partner and you just sit in your house all day long and watch TV, and it's like you don't ever get to go out. And so I believe in networking, and that's how you kind of grow your business and everything that you're trying to do in life, and just have a fun, colorful life as you gotta meet people. So for me, Haley and I went out and we were on the dance floor having fun, enjoying ourselves, and we ended up meeting a little group of girls. Hung out with them for the night and we were in the outside area of whatever bar on King Street. And all I said was, is hey, I'm gonna go to the bar and get us another round of drinks. Went to the bar and two girls approached me and they just said, Hey, what are you up to tonight? I said, Hey, I'm having fun here, you know, on vacation, anniversary, whatever. And they Hey, well, will you buy us a drink? I said, sure, absolutely. So I bought them a drink. It was a shot, yes. And the three of us took a shot, and then I turned around and Haley was right there, and she was, you know, really upset about it. Which looking back in twenty you know hindsight twenty twenty if I were to see guys buying Haley a shot, I would be pissed. Okay, so like yeah, so like I get that. Like I gotta take wear that one on my sleeve, like alright, Blake. That was probably not the best idea. So The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: Valley crash out, but for me I don't wanna be crashed out on. Like I'm like, hey, we're The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: I'm like, hey, we're having fun, like I'm sorry, let's move past this. And The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: so anyways, you know, that led to the whole, Hey, let's just let's get out of here and you know, this idea of, hey Blake, you were, you know, driving drunk or whatever and she called me blackout. And it's like n none of that really adds up where it's like, hey, Blake, you're blackout drunk driving your truck, yet I'd go, Hey Blake, please stop and you stop the truck, put it in park, get out the door, let her get in and go get on the passenger side. It's like anyone The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: that anyone that's seen a blackout drunk, like, dude, you don't you don't have that cognitive capability to listen. So, The Drama Drop: Right. Yeah. Blake Robertson: yeah, should I probably have been behind the wheel? Probably not. nor should have she. We should we definitely should have Ubered. But to make this out to be like something, you know Like it was, you know, blackout drunk incident to me I feel is like just a blanket statement to kinda justify whatever she's tr whatever narrative is trying to be played out right now. The Drama Drop: Yeah, for sure. and I don't know if you want to get into it, but I just have to ask, like, are you able to share what happened in y'all's relationship that you that there were issues on to maybe have her to have like these insecurities or being like, he's buying shots or what that she couldn't let go that maybe some of this stuff is trailing because of that. Blake Robertson: You're saying i just kinda what what led into Haley's kinda insecurities of everything? I yeah. The Drama Drop: Yeah, because I know you said earlier, like things that happen in y'all's relationship, and it's like, okay, we Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: need to like move on from it. obviously if you're not comfortable sharing that, you don't have to. But I was just curious if there was anything that where it kind of correlates where it's like she just could not shake it and some of the behaviors and reactions. It's like even if you were not doing anything wrong, you don't have any ill intentions and you know, you're just living your life. But it's like, ugh, it's just haunting you guys and it's something that Blake Robertson: Yeah, I mean I I The Drama Drop: Even if she's not referencing it, it's just what's in her mind. Blake Robertson: Yeah, I mean I I think You know, and again, like I don't want to speak negatively on Hailey 'cause she's got a lot of great qualities as well. But one of the ones here in particular is Hailey really struggles with forgiveness. I mean, she genuinely she really struggles with like letting go of things that she feels like has offended her. And that's kind of why even on the show you see her say, Hey, I feel like I've created this version of Blake and I'm worried that he's gonna give it to somebody else and it's like, Well, if you love this version of Blake and you're worried that he's gonna give it to someone else, then why can't you appreciate this version of Blake that you currently have? The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: So that that The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: to me that to me just didn't even add up. But what it was is is she just she wouldn't allow like in a sense she wouldn't allow the growth to take place because she was always holding on to previous quote unquote offenses. And I'll take accountability too. I was not the most emotionally mature person whenever Haley and I got together. I did struggle with like, hey, being able to compliment maybe as much as I should have, or being like super sweet in areas. And you know, why I did that, I don't know. Maybe I was intimidated. by her beauty and maybe I felt a little bit insecure, but that was The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: something that you know I definitely grew comfortable with and I evolved into being that person that can give all that stuff. But I just feel like she would she didn't allow that growth to take place with me as I grew as a person. I didn't I don't feel like she grew with me. I felt like she was kind of holding me to this residual blake. The Drama Drop: Yeah. Yeah. yeah, I don't the it's it is really interesting on finale night, like whenever you guys are both talking about that night, how different the perspectives are on what went down. I wonder I'm just yeah, because I was like trying to rack my brain as because you know, obviously people have there's two sides to stories. Everybody perspective is reality, you know, that's how you view it, but with it being so different. was really interesting to me. okay, so going back to that night, so she ended up driving you guys home? Or was that Blake Robertson: Yeah, and and it that that so okay, the reunion everyone needs to delete the reunion from their brain. That was like that was three The Drama Drop: Okay. Deleted. Blake Robertson: th yeah, that was three stories edited into one. So like that yeah, yeah, that The Drama Drop: my gosh, are you serious? Blake Robertson: yes, that w that was three stories edited e edited into one and it didn't even make sense. Like it didn't add up. Even with me even The Drama Drop: y yeah, okay. Blake Robertson: with me watching it, I like, Wait, I I I how if I can't follow this, how is anyone else gonna be able to follow this? So yeah, I did yeah, so the reunion didn't make The Drama Drop: Right. Yeah. Okay. Blake Robertson: sense. Those were three different instances that happened. The Drama Drop: Okay. my gosh. That's gotta be so frustrating to just have certain narratives be painted for you that you have no control over. And of course, everybody's just gonna take what they're seeing at face value and not really get into it. so okay, so that night then you guys get home. Okay, now rema just so I can make sure that 'cause I know the reunion and now I've deleted it. Was that the night of the arrest? No. Okay. Do you want to talk about that night? Blake Robertson: I mean I've got a full podcast coming out about that night of the arrest, which I'm excited to let that play out in its entirety. But I I guess so we had the Charleston night, then we got back to Texas, which the Charleston night One of the things that, you know, she hasn't talked about either, which is weird to me, is our trip didn't stop in Charleston. We went, we were kind of doing like a, you know, southeast tour. And so we went The Drama Drop: Okay. Blake Robertson: we went to Charleston and that's where that night happened. And then we went to Savannah, Georgia for two or three days, and then we went to New Orleans for another two or three days, and then we came, you know, then we came back home. So it wasn't like that event happened and we're and that was just, my gosh, Blake, that's whenever I broke up with you, like she's claiming. That's not true. We continue to we continue to you know travel with each other and then you know then we come back She, you know, took a little two day break because rightfully so, hey, she was upset about the whole, you know, shots thing or whatever, which The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: she she did hold that grudge for the rest of the trip, but we still had a lot of fun. But she did she was holding a grudge about that. So we get back, she goes out to her family friends' houses here and she's there for two days. Then I go out there, we have a little group powwow, she moves back in with me and then the night of the beer pouring on my head. I had a political event going on here in town at one of my buddies' houses. I went out there with him and another one of my friends and then we were like, hey, let's go have a couple of drinks and just have a little guy's night. Both of them are sing but yeah, so we went out to local little like dance hall here and we're just kinda hanging out and just having a drink or two and my buddy who's single had two girls come up to him and I'm sitting there by myself and he's like, hey Blake, you know meet so and so and I'm like, hey how's it going? And they hey, do you mind getting us a drink? And I go, hey, no problem at all. So I bought the all four of us a drink and then I went to the bathroom. When I went to the bathroom and then I came back out, and then even in Haley's brain, she says that we're broken up at this point. I don't think that we're broken up at this point, but she's you know, she has my location on her phone. So I'm not gonna I'm not gonna say that she, you know, went there to watch me or anything. Maybe she was, The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: you know, hey, her version of the story, she just happened to be there. Maybe so, maybe not. But The Drama Drop: Mm. Blake Robertson: I come may I come out of the bathroom and she literally like cinema slides out and takes the beer out of my hand and She goes, I've been watching you and you're disgusting for, you know, buying those girls a drink. And I go, what? Takes the beer and just dumps it on my head in front of like in front of like 300 people. And I'm like Fuck no. I'm like you didn't I'm like you did not just do that to me. And The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: like everyone is turned around looking at us. I'm like, dude, I can't do I'm like, I can't do this. So went over to my buddies and yeah, they we ended up, you know, going back to the house that night and or I we ended up, you know, going back. That was a whole another situation there that I break down where she says that she came up to the car to apologize, yet she's recording the apology. And I want The Drama Drop: Interesting. Blake Robertson: and I at that time want nothing to do with her because of what she just The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: did to me. Cause at that moment, that's whenever I broke up with her. I said, hey, that's whenever I officially checked out. The beer The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: on the beer in my head publicly, I'm like, dude, I'm done. Like there is no coming back from this. Like I know people that are here and The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: you just went public with this. Like, hey, maybe behind closed doors privately, like the disrespectful stuff, we can work through that. But now that we just went public with this, I can't Like absolutely not. So at that point I told her like hey, I'm done. We're d we're we are done. You need to go get your stuff and get out. So I went with my buddies to another spot for like ten to fifteen minutes to get some food. Her and her girlfriends, I guess that she was with, drove back to, you know, my house and said, Hey, you know, started packing their stuff up. Me and my buddies drove back in and as we were pulling into the, you know, business that I live in, I saw the car. It was a, you know, some sort of SUV. And I go, Time out. I told my buddy, I said, Hey, back up. Let's go about forty yards away. We'll park behind this motorhome over here, and we're just gonna wait for them to leave. So we were just sitting there. And then Haley The Drama Drop: Right. Okay. Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: comes running around the corner. Not even five minutes later, you know, knocking on the window, recording the conversation, and it's like with her intention saying that she wants to apologize. I'm like, that doesn't even like make sense to like tell me who is listening to that, thinking that like a a person that wants to just apologize is The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: rec is recording it and then where's my personal respect? Like I'm obviously way away from you and you just did that to me. Like I don't want to talk to you right now. So The Drama Drop: Yeah. That's a lot. Blake Robertson: Yeah, it yeah, it it is it is a ton. So, you know, that The Drama Drop: It's Blake Robertson: that yeah, she she yeah. Haley's got a lot that she needs to take accountability for, which I hope she will, but we'll see. The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Yeah, it's interesting. Like the recording of the apology, I almost wonder, and obviously this is me just speculating that obviously she knows that you guys are on a show. It's gonna come out. All this stuff is gonna come out, the fallout's gonna come out. So it's like she's almost collecting all these receipts that she possibly can to have for when all of this comes about. Obviously, I don't know, but that's just Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: the only reason why I can think you would be recording an apology. that you're giving because you did something Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: wrong. Blake Robertson: Yeah, and I've I've heard her like whole like excuse that she's giving everyone on the podcast is like, hey, I record Blake because he's drinking. It's like no, you did that to me all the time. Like this is not this is The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: not this is a ten AM conversation you're recording me or this is a two AM conversation. You were it was i I I literally like the cameras were nothing to me. Hey man, having a eighty thousand dollar camera pointed at me to record me, okay, no big deal because I was just used to it. I'm like, man, everywhere I go I've got this iPhone that's hidden. And then I would, I'd wake up the next next morning and Haley go, hey, listen to this and she'd play like recordings back of us like talking about stuff. I'm like, dude, what are doing? Or like a dad The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: my yeah, we my dad and her would have a conversation, she's recording it. Hey, listen to what your dad said. And I'm like, dude, who does that? And The Drama Drop: gosh. Blake Robertson: like that's that's creepy behavior. And it and The Drama Drop: Yeah, that's Blake Robertson: it and it's not just me. Like and I want to make that very clear, like with previous relationships she would do that too. So like that The Drama Drop: Hmm. Blake Robertson: is a and it is. It's a trauma response from growing up the way she did and I hate that. but The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: It's unfortunate. The Drama Drop: Yeah. Yeah. That definitely I hope that that is something that she can work through because I mean, just even for her, like that's just no way to live. You don't want to Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: constantly feel like you have to have a recording of something or some sort of receipt to have to either back up what you're trying to say or prove something. I don't know. That just seems very exhausting in itself. but my gosh. Yeah, that's a lot. And Yeah, the whole beer throwing on you that's just not acceptable. And yeah, and I I do think I mean, wanna make it clear, it's like had roles been reversed, that would have just been insane. Blake Robertson: my god. No. I you know, I've even seen some of these comments too that are like, man, Haley's a man eater. The way she spoke to Blake was so badass on the show. Could you imagine if I would have been doing that to her? Like dude The Drama Drop: No. Blake Robertson: all dude, that would have been I I would have been canceled so fast. The Drama Drop: Hundred percent. Blake Robertson: like it the way like that is not okay to do that to anybody. like that The Drama Drop: No, no. Blake Robertson: like that type of behavior is just not okay. And and it doesn't matter. Like and again too, like man, she's got the buzzwords from TikTok where it's like, Well, hey, that's you know, reactive This reactive that, and it's The Drama Drop: Mm. Blake Robertson: like it's like you are responsible for your own actions, and you're responsible The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: for your own reactions, even so you can't and and also too, it's like, man, when you look at people like Casey, when you look at people like you know, even Ashley in a sense, or Alex, it's like or Monica, it's like, hey, you can even if there was disrespect going on, like I feel like David did low-key kind of like disrespect Casey a couple of times on the show, but the way that she handled that with like grace, where she was like, Hey, I just really don't appreciate that. You don't have The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: You don't have to go off on somebody and make The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: it out to be these like huge things. And and we can't just write that off with like, hey, she's a Latina and she's feisty. I've dated several The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: I've dated several Latinas that are not that way. The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: that you so that that that to me is honestly frustrating for me to be on the receiving end of that and see that and people like try to write it off as funny in a weird way. The Drama Drop: Yeah, like woman empowerment, like look at her. No, no. Yeah, Blake Robertson: Yeah, that's not that's not a boss babe. That that's not what that is. The Drama Drop: it it is much. It is a bit much. Me and my husband, we were talking about that. It was like, geez, like, is all she does is yell. But okay, so I do have a question though, because she did talk about how she said the show made it seem like she just goes zero to a hundred in no Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. The Drama Drop: time. Would you say that that's accurate? Or would you s would you say that there is a build that all of a sudden, or is it just I don't know, I don't know. She s she said that Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: the show made it seem like she's popping off for no reason, basically. Blake Robertson: Yeah, I mean that that was another thing that I think I think everyone sees through in a weird way. It's like Sure, is there a context where I might have like frustrated her where I like wasn't understanding what she was saying? Maybe, but that doesn't give The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: any that it like she still went zero to one hundred. It's like you you still blew up you s The Drama Drop: Yeah. Yeah, at the end of the day. Blake Robertson: yeah, you still are blowing up constantly and it's like The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: it does it doesn't matter. It's like, yeah, hey, were we sitting there and we were struggling where I like, Hey, you want all five love languages like with that whole egg conversation? Hey Blake, you're not thoughtful, you're not cooking me eggs. I'm like, Well timeout, what what do you mean? Like whenever you cook me eggs in the morning, how And she just goes, Because it's not and like just kinda blows up. The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: It's like dude. You are responsible for that action. And another The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: thing that cracks me up that like people have said is how is yes, is there a quote unquote edit of the show? Absolutely. But when a camera follows you around for nine weeks, five days a week, for eight hours a day, they are going to get to know you. Like they are going to get to know who you were at that time period. Not saying that she hasn't grown since. Hopefully, The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: she definitely has. So I'm not going to hold her to that same standard today, but at that time period, that That was who she was. And so to make a to make a 30 second Instagram, you know, message and say, you know, hey, that wasn't me, and you retook it five times, and there's edits and there's everything. I'm like, okay, you think this is a more accurate representation of who you are than that was? The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: that that to me, I think, I don't know how people don't see through that. It's like, and I The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: and and they do, and that's why, you know, she's having the frustration that she's had, and she's called everybody, she's called me, she's called everyone, said, Hey, please make, you know, video. videos to try to, you know, tell everyone that I'm not crazy and I'm you know, I'm not me The Drama Drop: wow. Blake Robertson: yeah, no, she she's called me several times asking me to do that. The Drama Drop: gosh, where do you respond to that? Blake Robertson: I say, hey, let's all I s I my simple responses is hey, I've got no problem doing that because I don't think I wouldn't have been with Haley if she was this like full-time crazy Latina. We definitely had like we definitely had cycles, like five-day cycles, but I also said, Hey, well, you need to like I I I got a favor from you. Like help humanize me a little bit more because I'm not this chat GPT robot that and like that's that's you know completely unemotional and has no feelings for you. Like, hey, yeah, let's let's make it let's make a statement together and like hey, you know, she sends then you know her and Killian have become you know her and Killian are friends and she's got a soft spot for Killian and I'm like do you see the com I'm like do you see the comments that he's getting like he's getting called a full on he's getting called a full on rapist and you haven't said one word about how like hey he's actually a you know good guy or whatever public statement she would want to make about him. So it's like why does everyone have to come to her defense and make The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: her and like help humanize her but she won't do that for anyone else. That to The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: me that to me is absolutely disingenuous. The Drama Drop: Wow. Yeah. So she's really worried about the the public perception for sure. Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: how did her and Ashley become friends? Like how did that even Blake Robertson: That so from my understanding of this, when I broke up with Haley, We I you know she I was able to help her get her a job at Aritzia, she got all that lined up, we got her bills figured out, and so she moved to Dallas. Then Ashley then Ashley, after her and Killian broke up, her family was like on the show, they're from Texas as well, and they were saying, Hey Ashley, move back, you know, whatever and so whatever happened between her and Killian, she ends up moving back to Texas. Well, she moves to Dallas as well. And so I guess just both of them being in Dallas together, they just I you know, I don't know how the the origin story starts. or whatever, but The Drama Drop: Mm. Blake Robertson: yeah somehow, some way they got together and now it's hilarious to watch them, you know, post. The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: Espe especially too, because I'll I'll share this with you as well. I told Killian about Ashley and I. I told Killian about Ashley and I and the show in the back end of like hey yes Ashley and I got physical and you know made out or whatever. Ashley never told Haley that Yeah, so good friend. So yeah, great girl The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: yeah, great yeah, great girlfriend. So I think I think that that's kinda how that whole thing I think they figured that out probably this morning too. The Drama Drop: I was about to say, yeah, so at this point, like do we know that Hailey knows or is she about to find it out? Blake Robertson: Ha ha No, so yeah, hey The Drama Drop: Has your phone gotten blown up yet? Yeah. Okay. Blake Robertson: by by Haley. It it did. But it happened it happened about two days ago where she called me and Low key, you know, I hate this word. Like I'm PTSD, but she I'll I'll use a different word. She baited me big time. She called me and she s she said, Blake, my gosh, people are, you know, sending me these horrible messages and you know, I you know, you know, I I I don't even know how it got out, but she was like, Hey, I know what you did to me, I know what you did to me and I'm like, what are you talking about? And she just immediately like I I This is a great question. I wanna know because she told me that she figured out from someone else and I don't know I The Drama Drop: Hm. Blake Robertson: we we need to figure it out. I I I'm I'm trying to get to the bottom of this as well, but yeah, she called me about the whole make out thing and I think I think she learned it from the Jeb and Achillion podcast and that's why she blew up on me because that was recorded a couple of days ago, so I don't know if that got leaked or whatever. But yeah. We'll s yeah, we'll see. So yeah. The Drama Drop: My gosh. Crazy stuff. Okay, so Filmed the reunion, June. Okay, so you guys haven't seen each other since the reunion, right? Blake Robertson: Yes. You know no no no, Haley and I. Yeah, so yeah, so after the reunion, Haley and I went we w were at the hotel and we went and had like a three or four hour conversation. And then we FaceTime for probably like a week to like a week, a week and a half straight. And then I commented on one of Killian's photos. He's posted a couple of videos of him and Ashley. And I made I made a dumb comment and I just I just said, hey, who's that, you know, sexy chick. And just kind of just kind of toying with Killian a little bit. And The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: and Haley saw the comment and she got so upset about it. She was like, my God, like this is horrible. So she didn't talk to me for like a week and then she reached back out. And honestly like the whole the all like all of our conversations just have to do about her wanting to know what I'm gonna say on podcast. Hey The Drama Drop: Mm. Blake Robertson: Blake hey Blake are you gonna take accountability for anything? Hey Blake you know The Drama Drop: well. Blake Robertson: can you help me can you like say something about my edit, whatever and that's kind of been the whole entire you know conversations that have taken place. The Drama Drop: Yeah. Really trying to curate everything. Blake Robertson: Yeah, but we also we also have had some good conversations as well that are just like, Hey, let me see Winston. Like what's he up to? Well yeah, who've The Drama Drop: yeah. Blake Robertson: you yeah, who have you been dating or whatever since we broke up? And so those conversations have been interesting, but they've been fun. Yeah. The Drama Drop: Ugh, yeah, no, it's tough. It's tough to navigate. I mean, unfortunately, now it's like you guys have a show and now there's so much follow-up where it's like by this Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: point you probably could have been at a better place, moved on, maybe even dating somebody else. But it's like now all of this stuff just has to re-come to the surface. So you have to keep reliving it. So it's like it's Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: just extended that much longer. but I do have to ask, okay, how do we think this whole TMZ article? got real like in my mind if it's expunged, nothing else to even really talk about it. How did that get out? Blake Robertson: that is a great question. I don't The Drama Drop: Okay. Blake Robertson: I I I do not know. I don't want to speculate too hard, but that was definitely released and I feel like man, talk about promo. Man, we everyone The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: literally everybody was freak my phone has never been blown up more in my life than whenever that went live and I was like I I had to turn it off. And then I turned it back on and I had nine hundred and ninety-nine messages and I'm like, The Drama Drop: my Blake Robertson: dude, I'm like I can't eat like I'm never gonna be able to get through this. But yeah, somehow, some way that got released and It is what it is. I think one of the things that, you know, I will say on here that I I address in its entirety, and again, like I do not condone any violence of any you know, of any kind towards men or women, but it's like you know, and I explain it in its entirety. But this this this was a class C misdemeanor, you know, The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: which i yeah, like this was a you know, five hundred dollar fine and the state of Texas picked up the case. So yes, Haley signed affidavits, but at the end of the day, they're not gonna put that pressure on a witness to try to bring if this was a massively serious case that like, my God, you did something. No. Like they they would have pursued in its entirety because they have the full body cam footage, they have everything and they have every right to go forward. So this was dismissed this was dismissed and expunged within a month. And The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: and And and I'll just say this too. I was charged for family violence and everyone can look it up. That is a broad term that can be as little as unwanted touching to, The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: you know, the highest level. So I just I I I encourage everyone to go listen to my full podcast about, you know, the whole entire experience where I detail it out. The Drama Drop: Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. and I'll let you remind everybody at the end of this. But yeah, I mean, to your point, I feel like those clickbait, those, you know, quick TMZ articles where you just see a mugshot and you see those words and you know, everybody's just they're automatically gonna think the worst. They're not gonna even Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. The Drama Drop: try to figure out what that is, what all the details behind it and yeah, so I just feel like it's very unfortunate that of course, you know that comes out. And of course it's right after the show. And Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: also too, you know, like I was saying, I was like, you watch the show and you're so calm, cool, and collected. And so it's just kind of like, wait a second, this just doesn't really seem like it matches up. I don't know. Blake Robertson: Yeah, that's yeah. The Drama Drop: but yeah, I I'm glad that you so while we're talking about it, okay, where can everybody listen to this podcast episode if they haven't come across it yet? Blake Robertson: So it's gonna be on Deer Shandy. Yeah, so the The Drama Drop: Okay. Blake Robertson: Deer Shand yeah, Deer Shandy podcast is where it's gonna come out. So that that's where The Drama Drop: Okay, perfect. Blake Robertson: I go into the whole entire detail of everything. The Drama Drop: Okay, perfect. all right, yeah, there is there anything else that we haven't discussed that you want to get off your chest? I feel like I asked so many questions and new questions would come Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: up as we were talking. So I'm like trying to make sure I didn't miss anything. Blake Robertson: Yeah. So yeah, I'll give you some more fun stuff. So if we go back to Ashley and I sitting on the park at the with the Beagle Retreat rescue, okay? The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: So she has said, hey, one of the things that wa that wasn't shown in the show is that she went to go ask Luke and Casey or she went to go ask she went to Luke and Casey's apartment to ask, hey Luke, what actually happened that night? Well here's something about Luke. Luke did not like me. Luke told a Luke told everybody that I was there for a hall. And had told Monica, hey, do not choose that guy. I don't trust him. And so that was one of the things that was really shocking to me because Haley told me about that. And that was sort of a big little like, whoa, like, what do you mean I'm here for a hall pass? Like, where are you getting that from? So The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: so I felt like Ashley going to them definitely fed into like the whole, hey, I can't trust Blake, The Drama Drop: Hmm. Blake Robertson: like narrative because Luke was definitely Team Killian. And So I felt like that kinda messed with her head a little bit. yeah. So The Drama Drop: Wow. Yeah. wow. Blake Robertson: yeah, that that was sort of a little bit behind the scenes that happened. The Drama Drop: my gosh. Okay, so how much free time did you gu okay, so you said it was five days a week. So was it like the weekends there were no cameras and you could kind of just go do whatever? Blake Robertson: Yeah. So yeah, the week Yeah, so the weekends we called them dark days. Or it it didn't The Drama Drop: Okay. Blake Robertson: even necessarily have to be the weekend, it was just, you know, two days a week. We would have dark days. Or we would just be free to like, hey, just spend time on our own, go out, like Ashley and I together to go do, you know, just something in Vegas that's fun. Or, you know, just kinda relax and kinda get to decompress rather than just having a camera, you know, pointed at you the whole day. The Drama Drop: Yeah. Wow. I yeah, I feel like my gosh, there was probably just so much that would have just been so good. that we missed. Cause there's so much time and I understand, you know, they can only put in so much to create a show, but yeah, I mean, I feel like there's just so much additional context that we just miss as viewers and which is unfortunate because Blake Robertson: Yeah. Okay, another thing I wanna address with you as well, just because I'm sure I'll get more questions asked about it, is I think Ashley went on swoon. Do you follow that account? The Drama Drop: Mm. Blake Robertson: You don't? Okay. Well I think she went on swoon and she had mentioned that my dad called Haley and we'll we'll leave that alone. but yeah, Ashley has said some stuff that I just really The Drama Drop: Wait, that your dad called Haley? Blake Robertson: Yeah, that my dad called Haley and they had a conversation and that just is that whole concept is ridiculous, so I I I I don't want to get into it, but Ashley yeah, Ashley is it's funny to watch her and Haley try to like watch each other's back now. So The Drama Drop: Yeah, now they're kind of like instigators for each other. Blake Robertson: yeah, no, they're going on the podcast together. I they're on biofiles coming up. So yeah. Yeah. Yeah, The Drama Drop: that is one that I partake in for sure. Blake Robertson: so so I th so I think I think we'll see my name be kinda in the gutter there. The Drama Drop: Mm. Hmm. Will you go on Nick Vial's podcast if he asks you? Blake Robertson: No, I I I have not got I I've got you and I've got a couple other ones that have reached out to me, but no, I haven't had I haven't heard anything from him. Yeah. I know me too. I'm very shocked. I think that yeah. Yeah. Well The Drama Drop: I'm shocked. I I know he had Killian on there. This yeah, I feel like it's coming. It's gotta be. There's just Blake Robertson: s The Drama Drop: the way yeah, I feel like he just probably is taking it in doses. I'm sure maybe he wants to get asked them questions so he can put it in his back pocket to then ask you and see like what your response would be. I could see that. I could see that. Blake Robertson: Yeah. Yeah. I th I think it'll be fun and I think that one thing about me that I just wanna I hope everyone sees is man I I wanna tell the full truth and I like I've The Drama Drop: Yeah. Blake Robertson: got I've got no problem admitting my faults and I own up to all those and man I just I hope everyone else does as well. The Drama Drop: Absolutely. Yeah. okay, anything else? Because I do want to close out the podcast. I do have a game that I want to play, but before I do that, Blake Robertson: fun. Cool. The Drama Drop: I just want to be sure, is there anything else that you just need to you need to let out? Blake Robertson: man, do I wanna give you everything or do I wanna save anything? The Drama Drop: my God, yeah, absolutely. Blake Robertson: okay let we'll have some fun. So The Drama Drop: Okay. Blake Robertson: One thing that I think everyone would have some fun asking about and they should ask Killian and Alex is what is the state of their current relationship between Killian and Jevin's ex Alex? Because I know they want to go on a podcast and drop my tea. So I think people should start to ask Killian about him and Alex and their relationship. And so I think that'd be a lot of fun to hear them elaborate on that. The Drama Drop: is Jevan aware of this? Blake Robertson: Jevan, I I think I think Jevan is. If not, he he will be. The Drama Drop: Interesting. Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: when did that start? Blake Robertson: we i we need to ask him. So yeah, that'll that'll be fun. Yeah. The Drama Drop: Okay. All right. Noted. Noted. wait. Also, too, can I talk about did you see that Jessica, Grace, and why am I blanking on his name? Is it Idris? Idris got back together? No, Blake Robertson: Idris, Idris, yeah. Yeah. Dude, can you believe that? The Drama Drop: no. I finished the reunion and then I saw that and I was so proud of her for You know, okay, let me backtrack. Okay, because you know how we talk about Haley getting really amplified and it's like, no, Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: but obviously there is a time and a place, and the way that he was talking to her, I was like, and Blake Robertson: Yeah. Absolutely. The Drama Drop: I was like, okay, good for her for standing Blake Robertson: Mm-hmm. The Drama Drop: up for herself. Obviously, because I mean, she was on the show for like two seconds, but you know, that just doesn't seem like something that she just does all the time. Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: So I was really proud of her for holding her own and just being kind of like, no, don't tolerate that, to then learn that they got back together. I was shook. Absolutely Blake Robertson: Yeah. Jessica G The Drama Drop: shook. Blake Robertson: I I I I Jessica Grace is a beast. She that was like she's a stud. That was like completely valid for her to just be like, absolutely not. And The Drama Drop: Right. Blake Robertson: yeah, I mean for I think, you know, Idris shot her a text and said, Hey, I want to sit down with you and she texted me and she said, Hey Blake, what do you think I should do? And I said, Hey, I think on it, pray on it and see and I think they ended up going and having a conversation and I guess it went really well. But I think that I I think that they they're just whatever well like the cat the full cat didn't get out of bag. I don't know any of those details, but I think that that's some that's a bond there that I think is deeper than I I I've even ever experienced. So whatever's going on behind closed doors apparently it's keeping them together. Yeah. The Drama Drop: Yeah. Wow. I mean, I guess, I mean, good for them. Hopefully it's a lot going a lot better now. Cause I feel like, you know, that's hard to come back from that type of Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: interac like it's not just a normal argument or whatever. Just yeah, I don't know, the way he was responding. And I just was like, like cringing listening Blake Robertson: Yeah. Yeah. The Drama Drop: to it. I was like, I can't. but more power to him, I suppose. Okay, now I have a qu another question for you. Would you okay, let's just say in a world, would you ever try to rekindle something with Ashley if like Ashley and Haley are no longer friends? Like maybe like they start to drift apart. Like, could you see that ever being rekindled? Blake Robertson: I wouldn't mind going on a date with Ashley and just kinda The Drama Drop: Mm-hmm. Blake Robertson: hanging out and talking. But I mean, yeah, definitely the whole thing with her and Haley's gotta probably dwindle down a little bit or Haley's just gotta relax. 'Cause I have no problems with Hay I have no problems with Haley either. I mean Haley I think she's got her own motives right now of kinda why she's moving the way she's moving. But you know, Haley and I whenever we talk on the phone, it's still fun, flirtatious, all the above and you know, same thing between Ashley and I. So yeah, I don't I think that, you know, Ashley and I going on a date could be interesting. The Drama Drop: cool. Yeah. I I Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: mean, I would love to see it because I personally felt like everything with you guys didn't fully get its full potential because of Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: outside factors, but that's just that's just my opinion. Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: All right. Let's get into this game. It's called Sheiker Week. It's nothing crazy. Do what? Yeah. So Blake Robertson: Chic or week. Sheik or weak. Okay, I like I like it. The Drama Drop: Yeah, I'm just gonna list like five different things and you're just gonna say if you think it's chic or weak. If you wanna Blake Robertson: Yeah. The Drama Drop: elaborate on it, you can, but it's just kind of rapid fire. All right. Going on a reality show to give your partner an ultimatum. Yeah. Blake Robertson: Shake. The Drama Drop: Okay. Yep. Using chat GPT for relationship advice. Hey, I love chat GPT, so I don't fault you at all. Blake Robertson: Chic as fuck.
