- 0:01Good morning, good morning, Good morning family God, Welcome back to the
- 0:05morning Devo. It's good to see you, my friends, my brothers and
- 0:08sisters in Christ, and those who are just curious, and those who just
- 0:11stumbled supposedly stumbled on these morning DeVos. Amen. I don't believe in coincidences.
- 0:17I believe in divine connections. So I believe that you are here and
- 0:21you're connected for a purpose and for a reason. And God wants to speak
- 0:24to you through his word. Amen. So we can hear his word and
- 0:29hear his voice through his word, because He is the author and perfector of
- 0:34our faith. Amen. So we're available right now live streaming at live that
- 0:40so when is with his ze Orgy also at so we is with his z
- 0:43do org which is the Celebrate on Network, the Lehigh Valley's number one urban
- 0:47gospel music station online since two thousand and eight. And we're still here.
- 0:51All glory to God. Right. Amen, So we're here, Sister NILSI,
- 0:55I see you. Good morning, God bless you. Welcome back to
- 0:57the morning Devo, my sister, my friend. Today we're talking about a
- 1:00relationship with God. Because listen, it's plain and simple. People say that
- 1:07there's no God because they don't have a personal relationship with him point blank.
- 1:11A lot of people are saying, oh, how could you believe in a
- 1:14God that you can't see, you can't feel, you can't touch. Listen,
- 1:19you can see the Lord through his creation, that's number one. You
- 1:23can't hear the Lord. Number two through the word, right, you can't
- 1:29feel him. Number three through a holy spirit God who lives in every single
- 1:33one of his children, those who are born again. Right. So people
- 1:38are over complicating things. If there is no God, then there is no
- 1:41relationship with him. Okay, people are basically saying I don't have a relationship
- 1:46with God. They're saying that there is no God, but they're basically saying
- 1:49they don't have a relationship with him. Whether or not you or I believe
- 1:53in God or not doesn't change the fact that He is, he was,
- 1:59and he's still to come. Amen. God is good. God bless you
- 2:02too, is my sister Nolsea. So today we're gonna just make it simple,
- 2:07leave it plain, and call this one a relationship with God. And
- 2:12the question is this, why is it not good to be alone? I'm
- 2:16in a ministry, a texting ministry, and I couldn't tell you how many
- 2:24messages I receive from people who are lonely and they feel isolated I'm talking about.
- 2:32I'm telling you there's a lot of them. Out of a one hundred
- 2:35texts I get from this texting ministry that I'm part of, I would say
- 2:40like forty or maybe a little more deal with loneliness right, feeling alone to
- 2:50how they're struggling in that area. Why is it not good to be alone?
- 2:57Right? And a statement I made after that, it's all about relationship.
- 3:00We're gonna be a Genesis chapter number two, verse eighteen. Genesis two,
- 3:05verse number eighteen. I'm calling this one a relationship with God. If
- 3:09you have any questions, comments, concerns, or any prayer requests, don't
- 3:14hesitate to leave it on a live chat. That's what we're here for.
- 3:16If you're listening from the podcast, if you're listening from the radio, Soul
- 3:21Winners with a z Org welcome back, shout out to Colorado. You are
- 3:24blazing on the network. Amen, it's good to know that I have Coloradio.
- 3:30Well you say, if you're from Colorado or Coloridian, Coloradian, Colorado,
- 3:35So thank you so much, bless you, and I think it was
- 3:38Michigan, Colorado, and I keep on forgetting to get the top five.
- 3:44Okay, I got to put that on my to do get the top five
- 3:50listenership on the radio because I like to shout them out so that way they
- 3:54know I see them and I'm praying for them and I shouting them out.
- 3:58All right. So it's not good for someone to be alone. It's not
- 4:01good for you to be alone and for me to be alone. And there's
- 4:04a reason for it. Right. We need to be in a relationship.
- 4:09The most important relationship I believe is the relationship we have with the Lord.
- 4:13Amen. When we have the relationship with God, then we know what true
- 4:15love is. Then we know what true forgiveness is. Then we know how
- 4:18to walk and mercy. Then we know how to show grace. Then we
- 4:23know how to you know, walk in victory a man when you have a
- 4:27personal relationship with God. So for all those who do not have a personal
- 4:31relationship with God, you're saying that there is no God. You're simply also
- 4:36saying you don't have a personal relationship with him. That's what you're basically saying.
- 4:41If you start, you know, peeling off the layers. Amen.
- 4:44So let's pray first. After we pray, we shared this out for like
- 4:46sixty seconds, and then when we come back on the other side of those
- 4:49sixty seconds, we'll get right into it. Genesis Chapter two, Verse them
- 4:54at eighteen one, verse Amen. Today that will like, really really make
- 5:00you rethink. I know it made me rethink a lot. This one verse
- 5:03Amen took it back to the very beginning of the book of Genesis. So,
- 5:09Father God, thank you so much that we are not alone, that
- 5:12we are not abandoned, that we're not orphaned. That although we may not
- 5:16have an earthly father here that's present, but we have a heavenly Father that's
- 5:20forever present, that will always be with us in a time of trouble and
- 5:25a time of need, that will always be our covering, our protector,
- 5:29our shield. Thank you Jesus for who you are. Thank you God for
- 5:31what you have done, what you continue to do, and show us in
- 5:35your word who you are. More and more and more, I pray,
- 5:39Lord God, I had your protection over me, myself, my family,
- 5:42my household, my whole entire bloodline. And I pray the same thing over
- 5:46every single person representing their families from the very youngest family member to the very
- 5:51oldest family member and everyone in between. Bless them, Touch their hearts,
- 5:55touch their minds, protect them, guide them, guard them. Give us
- 5:59health to our by strength to our bones. And Lord God, that we
- 6:01will give you glory and we would thank you daily, Lo God for all
- 6:04of it. And I pray, Lord God, that those who will feel
- 6:08alone, who think they could do things alone, Low God, and they
- 6:11are being tricked into believe in that for whatever reason, I pray you would
- 6:15bring the realization and that you would give them a revolutionary revelation today of why
- 6:23it's not good to be alone, and that they can have a personal relationship
- 6:29with you first, Low God, and then they can know how to have
- 6:31a relationship with others. Touch our hearts, touch our minds, Low God,
- 6:35we give you glory, honor, worship, and praise. I thank
- 6:39you for what you're doing today in my life, and for everyone that's connected
- 6:42now who will connect later. Thank you for doing things in their lives as
- 6:45well. When you touch our lives, you make things new. And we
- 6:48give you glory, honor, and thanksgiving for all of it. In the
- 6:51name of Jesus. We prayed this by faith, and all those who believe
- 6:55in prayer. We say, Amen and Amen, let's take sixty seconds to
- 6:59help me share this out. If you know people right now who are not
- 7:01on social media like that, no problem. You can send them the link
- 7:05live that so winners with a Zeta Org you're on social media, just copy
- 7:10that link and send it to whoever you want to send to. Also,
- 7:13I'm pretty much pretty sure people have YouTube on their mobile devices, on their
- 7:17phones and their computers on the TVs is already there. You can send them
- 7:21to my YouTube channel and the name of it is DJ sam Rock. Very
- 7:25simple andym not trying to make things make sense. Amen, So let's go
- 7:29for it. Sixty seconds something. You share this out. When we come
- 7:31back, we'll get right into today's Morning devot. A relationship with God,
- 7:36I'll be right back. Amen. Amen, we're back. Let's go for
- 8:54it. A relationship with God? Is it possible to have that even for
- 8:58those who don't leaving him? Listen, I got saved by way of being
- 9:01drunken high calling out unto a god, calling to a God that I didn't
- 9:07even trust, I didn't believe in. I couldn't understand at the moment.
- 9:11Amen, and guess what he responded even in that way that I called him
- 9:16out, And I wasn't very kind with my words when I was calling out
- 9:20God. But I knew that if there was more to life, it had
- 9:22to be through him, the creative of life. I didn't believe in him,
- 9:26though, I didn't trust in him. So it's not that I didn't
- 9:28It's not that I was going around saying there is no God, even though
- 9:31in my mind I was telling myself that, right, But I wasn't like
- 9:35standing on top of a soapbox or you know, telling everybody and streaming that
- 9:39everybody there is no God. How could you believe in that? How could
- 9:41you believe in that? I was just having a personal crisis, Amen,
- 9:46But guess what he responded. And because he responded, now I have a
- 9:48personal relationship with him. I was lost. God wasn't lost. I didn't
- 9:54find God. God found me where I was. He came to where I
- 9:58was to take me to where He is. And that's my testimony in a
- 10:01nutshell, and I'm not backing off of it, and I'm not backing down.
- 10:05Amen. So if people want to debate about the existence of God and
- 10:07this, that and the third, I know some people that could debate you
- 10:11on that, Amen, and they know the scripture is way better than I
- 10:13do, and they know how to articulate all that stuff. But this is
- 10:16not the platform for that, Amen. This is the platform to get into
- 10:20the Word of God, to reflect, to get a devotional going on daily
- 10:26in your heart and mind, so that way it can help you during the
- 10:28day because I know every day. We know we have a God. We
- 10:33serve a God that knows everything that's going to happen today, So we give
- 10:35him, give him everything that we know to give him. Amen. You
- 10:39knew about him, now you know him. Amen, that makes sense.
- 10:43Yep. We knew about him. I knew about him. I knew the
- 10:46story and all that, but now I know him. Thank you. That's
- 10:48good. Thank you, Neil Suck. So let's get this ready for the
- 10:52screen. Amen sees. If everything is ready, Yep, there you go.
- 10:56For those who are just listening, Amen, thank you so much for
- 11:00listening. Although you don't see what we see, but you're going to hear
- 11:03what we hear because I'm gonna read the word for word. I'm not gonna
- 11:07short change anybody out there. Heymen. Genesis chapter two, verse number eighteen.
- 11:11The word of God says now the Lord. God said, listen,
- 11:16this is the Lord speaking. It is not good, beneficial for the man
- 11:22to be alone. I will make him a helper, one who balances him,
- 11:30a counterpart right, who is suitable and complimentary for him. God is
- 11:37not leaving us guessing all our lives and say what should I do? Why
- 11:45am I here? You know? What's the meaning of life? Who tells
- 11:50us what's right and what's wrong? And where am I going after die?
- 11:54He doesn't leave us figuring out all by ourselves. He looks at us situation,
- 12:01he finds what's beneficial for us right, and he will do something about
- 12:05it. In this case, he's telling Adam, is not good for you
- 12:09to be alone. He's telling the first man, listen, there's nothing none
- 12:13of these animals that I created for you. None of the fish, none
- 12:16of the birds, none of the plants. None of that was suitable for
- 12:22Adam. So what did he do? He made Adam. He made man
- 12:26a helper, one who balances right, one who is a counterpart, suitable
- 12:33and complimentary for him. God does that continuously for us on the day to
- 12:39day. You might not realize it, but God's creating a way for us
- 12:43to be living an abundant life. He's creating a way for us to live
- 12:48a victorious life. He's creating a way for us to not be alone,
- 12:52to not feel abandoned, to not feel like we're all here, we're here
- 12:56all by ourselves. No, he moves according to his word and purpose for
- 13:01our hearts and for our lives, for our family, Amen, and for
- 13:05our wellbeing. Why because we have a relationship with God, a relationship with
- 13:11God. Amen, I put the wrong screen there. There you go.
- 13:18So basically, what God is doing and what he's done and what he continues
- 13:22to do, He designed us for a relationship. He designed us to bond
- 13:26with him. Right. This is the reason why a lot of people say
- 13:31that the atheists, there's not enough evidence, not enough proof that there's a
- 13:33God who exists. They're saying that they're alone. They feel alone, they
- 13:37don't have the answers. They abandoned, they feel abandoned, they feel rejected,
- 13:41they feel isolated, they feel like they are outside of the mix.
- 13:46And a lot of people, if they don't understand something, they become angry
- 13:50because they start fearing what they don't understand, and they gather up with other
- 13:54people who feel the same way, and they create all kinds of reasons.
- 13:58There's no God or reasons why we as believers are wrong. And then they
- 14:05try to go to science, which, by the way, science can't hold
- 14:07its own without a creator that created everything that science is looking at. It's
- 14:13very common sense, right. God designed us to bomb relationally with himself,
- 14:18right, And when we have a personal relationship with God, we bond with
- 14:24him, bond right with him, and we become people who are called believers,
- 14:30sons and daughters of living God. We become who God calles us to
- 14:35be right. The God of the Bible is a relational god, and you
- 14:39can see that all through from Genesis to Revelation. He has relationship. He's
- 14:43involved with what's happening in this world. So the people who are out there
- 14:48are saying, oh, God created the world, but then he left and
- 14:52he has no dealings with us anymore. I don't know where to get that
- 14:56from. They certainly don't. They certainly can't get that from this scriptures.
- 15:01And if they look around and if they're honest, they certainly can't say that
- 15:03God is not involved with us today. It's incredible how we as human beings
- 15:09create these things in our minds, and then we start speaking it out of
- 15:13our mouths. And then because a lot of people gravitate to that, Amen,
- 15:18a lot of people gravitate to evil more than good. A lot of
- 15:22people gravitate the lies more than truth. And because they have a big following,
- 15:28they convince themselves that, yeah, I'm right. You see, I'm
- 15:31right because I have the majority vote. And that's not the way life works
- 15:37at all. Right, Amen, Brother Robert Diaz, Robbie newborn, God,
- 15:41bless you born in my friend of my bro So the God of the
- 15:45Bible that we read the scriptures is a relational god, the three members of
- 15:50the Trinity. And even this, people say, oh, how could you
- 15:52believe in the triune God. The word trinity is not in the Bible.
- 15:56Listen, the word Bible is not in the Bible. It doesn't matter.
- 16:00We see the God who is the Father, God the Father. We see
- 16:06God the Son all through the scriptures, and we see God Holy Spiritakka Kadesh
- 16:11right rock eloheen. We see the word becoming flesh, and we see it
- 16:21and we want a relationship with this God of heaven and earth. Personally,
- 16:26I have a relationship I hope you have a relationship. It's a personal thing,
- 16:30and it's a private thing, but it's not Okay, let me back
- 16:34up. My relationship with God is personal, but it's not private. Right.
- 16:41What God did within me my heart a man, that was very personal,
- 16:45But now I publicly display that because I'm like, if he did it
- 16:48for me, he can do that for anybody. I know that for a
- 16:52fact. I was going in a totally different direction. Then I called on
- 16:56God and he ruined my life in a good way. He interrupted my life
- 17:02because I was going towards a cliff, and if I had taken a couple
- 17:06of more steps, I would have fallen off that cliff. Right, God
- 17:10loves me and loves you so much that he's not gonna lie to keep on
- 17:12going in a direction that's going to lead you to your own destruction. He's
- 17:17not going to leave you in moving in a direction that's going to lead you
- 17:21to death. He wants that. He wishes that none perish, but everyone
- 17:26have eternal life. So don't forfeit your eternity for a theory. Right,
- 17:33go for yourself. Go look for yourself in the word of God. Looking
- 17:37around you, look at creation, and realize something. There has to be
- 17:40a God who did all of this. Right, God bless you as well
- 17:44for the Robbie. So in John seventeen twenty one, we see Jesus and
- 17:52we hear him praying to the Father. He says, you are in me
- 17:56and I am in you. That's a relationship. Amen, he was one
- 17:59with the Father. There was a relationship going on. He wasn't alone,
- 18:03he wasn't abandoned. Even though in the garden of Gonsemite. Amen, there
- 18:07was a time right there that Jesus was experienced a lot of grief. Right,
- 18:11and he was like, man, I gotta go to the cross,
- 18:12and the boot says. He was sweating drips of blood and crying blood.
- 18:18He was in a place of like man. But he said, listen,
- 18:23if there's another way, show me. But if there's no other way,
- 18:27not my will be done. But job will be done. Why because he
- 18:32was one with the Father John seventeen twenty one. Proves that he and the
- 18:37Father were one. Right, you are in me and I'm in you,
- 18:41John seventeen twenty one. So we have the creation story in Genesis. He
- 18:47created everything. Do you notice that God shows up as creator first in the
- 18:52beginning God created the heavens and the earth. He created everything first, everything
- 18:57we needed. Then he shows up at as the provider. Everything that Adam
- 19:02needed was already provided. Right. Then he makes man, so it's God,
- 19:08then Man, Jesus, Cross, and resurrection. Those five words answer
- 19:15any question in life. Those five meanings in those five positions, God,
- 19:22Man, Jesus, Cross, Resurrection will steer your life in the right direction
- 19:29and you'll have a personal relationship with this God. Of having the earth,
- 19:33you can't miss aim at God. He's the target you will not be able
- 19:37to miss. I'm telling you from experience. Good morning, sister Joanne.
- 19:41It's good to see you. God bless you as well, and good morning.
- 19:45God did not create just one human being, and we know that I'm
- 19:48not trying to be a wise God. But he created too. He thought
- 19:55I was gonna say, I know the number of the humans on here.
- 19:56No, I don't create it too. Created Adam the man, He created
- 20:00Eve. He created Eve the woman. Right when Adam was the only person
- 20:04in the universe, God said it is not good for the man to be
- 20:10alone. The question is why isn't it good for man? Said, you
- 20:15mean to tell me that Adam would have not found a way to hang out
- 20:18with the animals and do this. That and the third could have been right,
- 20:22But something tells me that that would have not been fulfilling for Adam.
- 20:26And then maybe maybe the Bible doesn't say this, but maybe, as I'm
- 20:30thinking, he would have found trouble being by himself. But God knew that
- 20:36it was not good for man to be alone. God knew that it was
- 20:38not good for Adam to be alone because he saw the future. Amen,
- 20:44So he created a helpmate. He created someone who was suitable for him to
- 20:52follow a relationship with God. Is more than enough? Do you think that
- 20:59were with God would have been enough for Adam? I think so. But
- 21:03also God knew that there was good trouble was ahead somewhere around Amen, if
- 21:07he had not created a helpmate, someone that was suitable for Adam. Amen.
- 21:15But you know Genesis chapter three, if you read the scriptures, you
- 21:18know that there was a fall of man. Eve was deceived by the serpent.
- 21:22Then Adam and Eve disobeyed God by doing what God told him not to
- 21:26do. But we'll stay in Genesis chapter two. Amen, before the fall,
- 21:33so Adam needed to be in a relationship with God and in a relationship
- 21:40with other people. Hence, that's how we know how to communicate, That's
- 21:44how we know how to get along because we have an example of the first
- 21:47man getting along with his wife, getting along with other people in the scriptures.
- 21:52And then you continue seeing people in the scriptures getting along with one another,
- 21:56and then you see parts of the scripture that people were really getting along
- 22:00with one another. Actually, the first murder was in the first book of
- 22:03the Bible, when the brother came and killed Abel. So this is why
- 22:11Jesus sums up all the teaching of the scripture and two simple commands. What
- 22:19are they? Love God and love our neighbor. The R word relationship.
- 22:27He's the god of the read. He's the god of the relation. He's
- 22:32the god of the reads, god of restoring Amen. He's the god of
- 22:37the rebirth. He's the god of the resurrection. You see all these ries
- 22:41in the beginning of what God does a man, He renews, a man,
- 22:45he redeems. He's the God of the ri He's the God of the
- 22:48read. So relationship is good news for every single person who have this relationship.
- 22:57How do you do it, Sam, how do you get a relationship
- 23:00with God. You might be out there say I don't believe in God.
- 23:03So that's all for you Christians and you Bible thumpers and all that stuff,
- 23:08whatever you want to call us. Right, all you have to do is
- 23:11admit that you're a sinner, very simple. Admit that you do wrong.
- 23:15That should be a simple thing. Humble yourself, admit that, and ask
- 23:19God to forgive you for doing wrong. Because you're not doing wrong really against
- 23:23me or another human being. You're doing wrong against a holy God, and
- 23:27he wants to fix that in your life. So admit that you're a sinner.
- 23:32Go to Jesus right personally, right now, a man. Ask him
- 23:36to forgive you for the wrongdoings. For the sins He will forgive you.
- 23:40You'll start being changed and transformed. He will send his Holy Spirit to live
- 23:45inside of you, and then you'll start believing the word of God. Activate
- 23:48the word of God, and you'll have a personal relationship with God a man.
- 23:53I hope that makes sense. Go to the scripture. We read Genesis
- 23:57chapter two. Read the whole chapter. We was in verse number eighteen.
- 24:02Read the whole chapter, and believe me, you'll probably continue reading the Book
- 24:06of Genesis is a lot in there, a man that obviously I can't go
- 24:10over in a short time like this. But I'm out of time now,
- 24:12but I want to send you off with a blessing. Thank you so much
- 24:15for hanging out with me for these morning DeVos. God bless you all,
- 24:18God keep you all, and remember always that God is good. Peace.
