- 0:33right over ten years strong. We've got a great discussion coming your way here
- 0:37on Opposition Territory. This week, we're getting into the Cincinnati Bengals. This
- 0:41is a team that has been to the AFC Championship the past two seasons.
- 0:45They're a team that is one of the more dominant ones, of course in
- 0:48the AFC and the NFL in general. They've had a pretty interesting offseason thus
- 0:53far. How does this team continue to build towards the future? How did
- 0:57they continue to remain successful in the AFC. We're gonna get into it this
- 1:02week. We got a great guest here. Let's introduce him. Let's get
- 1:06right to it. And it's great to have back on the podcast coming to
- 1:08us from A to Z Sports. You know, we love that website content
- 1:14they are putting up on a daily basis. We've got the one and only
- 1:17John Sheer And how are you doing, Buddy. I'm good, Jeff.
- 1:19Thanks sharing me on. Absolutely it is great to be able to talk to
- 1:23you about the Cincinnati Bengals team. What's been going on during the course of
- 1:26the offseason. But first informost, don't wanna get some plugs out for you.
- 1:29I know you're on Twitter still right, you're at John Underscore Underscores shearing,
- 1:33correct, Yeah, still on that hell site for sure, up and
- 1:37running. You know, I'm almost off, like I'm I'm get real close
- 1:42to just go on Instagram at this point. However, they're they're doing some
- 1:47good stuff again, folks over at A to Z sports again A to z
- 1:49sports dot com. Check out everything they're doing over there. It's eight z
- 1:53sports dot com, correct, yes, sir, yeah, yeah, all
- 1:56right, let's get into the Cincinnati Bengals team on because, like I look
- 2:00at this team, one of the powerhouse teams of course in the NFL,
- 2:06and one of those teams that you know, I hope, you know,
- 2:09if the Eagles were to get back to the Super Bowl, you know,
- 2:12I know it's doubtful, you know, teams getting back to the Super Bowl
- 2:15year after year, unless you're the New England Patriots. You know, it
- 2:17usually doesn't happen too often. However, the Bengals are just that franchise contender
- 2:23in the AFC and and they're up there, of course with the Chiefs and
- 2:28you know, maybe perhaps the Bills, although I think the Bills have taken
- 2:30some steps back, aside from getting that franchise quarterback in Joe Burrow that the
- 2:36Bengals have, which we know is so important of course in the game of
- 2:38football. You know what's been the most what's been the most critical aspect of
- 2:43the team that's allowed them to see their recent successes. It's a lot of
- 2:50things, Like I think coaching continuity definitely goes under the radar, considering like
- 2:54they have almost more coordinating coordinator continuity, I should say, than the Kansas
- 3:00the Jeeves at this point, they just lost their fact offensive coordinator and Eric
- 3:02b Enemy. But just to have that core group of you know, leaders
- 3:06who have instilled the culture in the locker room together for now five years,
- 3:09especially after the first two when no one really believed that it was ended up,
- 3:14you know, going to be working. But then they got the right
- 3:15players in there to really fill out whatever schemes and culture that they wanted to.
- 3:19So, like I mean, like the same reason why the Eagles have
- 3:22a great chance of going back, Like the Banks just have a great all
- 3:24around roster. There's not a ton of week spots here, and obviously,
- 3:28like the Eagles best offensive line of the game, Bengals have been working,
- 3:30you know, tirelessly for the past three off seasons to get anywhere, you
- 3:34know, remotely close to that. And they made their biggest, the biggest
- 3:37strides in the past two years fortifying the interior with guys like Alex Kappa,
- 3:40Tat Cares, and then they get a guy in the Orlando Brown who I
- 3:44know, like definitely has the shortcomings. I think most Bengals fans rate him,
- 3:46you know, in that ten to fifteen range terms like every single starting
- 3:51tackle, so he's not not necessarily elad. But they didn't pay him e
- 3:53lead money, right, they got him exactly at the proper values. So
- 3:55now they have like a high quality or above award love tackle compared to the
- 4:00average love tackle that they have that they had in Jonah Williamson. Now you
- 4:03have just a four to five offensive line with five guys that you feel comfortable
- 4:08as starting. And that used to be the case even when the Bengals won
- 4:12twenty seven games in these past two years, including the playoffs. So you
- 4:15just looked up and down the roster they lost a couple of guys in Jesse
- 4:16Bates and Bombill, but they had contingency plans. They replaced them pretty accordingly
- 4:20and pretty effectively inefficiently. So yeah, there's not a lot There's not a
- 4:24lot of areas who are like, oh, well, you know, the
- 4:26Bengals is gonna be exploited here. They have the right pieces at the most
- 4:28important spots, and they've just solidified and complimented those pieces with quality talent.
- 4:33Absolutely, we're gonna We're definitely gonna get the offensive line in a bit,
- 4:36and or the acquisition of Orlando Brown. But there was one word that you
- 4:40just mentioned right there, John that I thought was interesting. It's culture.
- 4:43And I think that more and more as we are going along as NFL fans,
- 4:46you know, whether it's we're following our specific teams or just looking at
- 4:49other teams around the league, that culture is so very important. And I
- 4:54don't think it can be understated how important it is. Philadelphia Eagles have a
- 4:57tremendous culture. The Bengals really dablishing that culture over the past few years that
- 5:01is going to serve them well. I think in the future. I think
- 5:04there is something to be said for that that that. Yes, of course
- 5:08talent is important and imperative in the NFL in terms of the game itself,
- 5:13but that culture, that bringing of the personalities together and the ultimate goals and
- 5:18the mission, there is something to be said for that for sure, buddy.
- 5:23Yeah, it's it's an interesting topic. Um, it's almost like taboo
- 5:26to me because it's it's impossible to quantify obviously, Yeah, and every team,
- 5:30every team is different than that regard. Like, I wasn't a huge
- 5:33believer in it until I saw at the end of the twenty twenty season when
- 5:36Burrow was was done. You know, they had Ryan Finley starting against the
- 5:41Steelers on like a Monday night game and they had no business winning that game,
- 5:44and it was such a monumental statement and really like, oh, like,
- 5:46you know, we have we have the right mindset going forward here,
- 5:50we can pull out things that you know, we can do unexpected things,
- 5:54and we have that belief in ourselves. And then once you get the talent
- 5:57that compliments that, that supports the message, like that's how you can continue
- 6:00yep, regardless of roster turnover, regardless of anything that happens on the year
- 6:04of your basis, if you have that sort of like culture in the locker
- 6:09room, and you can back that up with results. That's how it persists.
- 6:13So they established this this base call it kind of out of nowhere,
- 6:15but it was really exact Hill's vision and mission when he first got here,
- 6:19and it just took a couple of years to really, you know, fulfill.
- 6:23Absolutely something to be said for culture for sure, and moving along.
- 6:27I always find the AFC North to be a very very interesting division because of
- 6:31the various shifts and directions that each team makes from season to season. I
- 6:35mean, the Steelers, you know, we're all gonna be looking to see
- 6:38if they may have their quarterback of the future, or the Browns we need
- 6:41to see if Shaun Watson's going to be able to get back to being a
- 6:44dominant quarterback in the league. Of course, Lamar Jackson his contract situation being
- 6:48taken care of in Baltimore. They seem to have left that issue, of
- 6:53course, behind them at this time. They seem to be a team that
- 6:56might be able to contend in the AFC. Who knows remains to be seen.
- 7:00Is there a team that you worry about possibly challenging the Bengals this coming
- 7:04season Within the division, and if so, what team is that and why?
- 7:09This is the question I struggle with the most. I think because like
- 7:12the FC North, like you said, it's just it's a dog fight every
- 7:15single year. And I think there's a case for all three teams, starting
- 7:19with like the Browns, Like they've just match up really well against the Bengals,
- 7:23like and it doesn't matter, you know, how good or bad their
- 7:25quarterback is playing. They have a run scheme and offensive line that has just
- 7:29given Lunar Rumbo's defense fits and that not every team and not every offense can
- 7:32say that over the past few years. So we're regardless you know, how
- 7:35good Deshaun Watson is if he gets back to form. I think they'll always
- 7:39be competitive against the Bengals. Now, whether or not they win, you
- 7:41know, more than the Internet games this year remains to be seen, but
- 7:43like they'll they'll be in contention. The Steelers have never had a losing record
- 7:46under Mike Tomlin. I'm never counting them out or any circumstances, and I
- 7:49think I think they got better this year. I think they had a really
- 7:51good offseason. And even if Kenny Pickett is never you know, he may
- 7:58not ever be like that quarterback. Oh, you can win a super Bowl
- 8:01because of Kenney Pickett. Like, they'll still be competitive and they can still
- 8:03easily win the division, you know, year after year or whatever. And
- 8:05the Baltiore Ravens are probably the best overall team outside of the Bengals in the
- 8:09division. I'm a personally a really big fan of Lamar Jackson pairing with offensive
- 8:16coordinay Tom Makin. I think just his arm and Makins, you know,
- 8:18vertical philosophy and then that scheme. I think that's gonna be really exciting.
- 8:20Now, whether it works or not, I don't know, but like this
- 8:24is the best I think Ravens overall team to compete with this version of the
- 8:26Bengals team. So you can have a situation where all four teams win at
- 8:31least seven or eight games, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Ravens end
- 8:33up taking the AC North Crown this year. But I still think the Bengals
- 8:37probably have still the best overall team, the best chance of winning, but
- 8:41maybe the Ravens have the best chance of competing. Yeah, the Ravens offense,
- 8:43It's gonna be really interesting to see how that all comes together if it
- 8:46does, so moving along, you know, I think it's interesting how the
- 8:50Chiefs losing Orlando Brown to the Bengals was arguably, I think one of the
- 8:54most important offseason moves that the Bengals actually made. And while Orlando Brown isn't
- 9:01necessarily like the most dominant you know, tackle in the National Football League or
- 9:05even in the AFC, you know, it's an interesting storyline for somebody,
- 9:09an outlier like me heading into this twenty twenty three season, just you know,
- 9:13given of course the Chiefs and Bengals and they faced off in the last
- 9:16two AFC Championship games. So I'm wondering, does this offseason move to like
- 9:22kind of take the Bengals in terms of their offensive line ranking to the AFC
- 9:26to another level? Like where where does it take this offensive line in your
- 9:30opinion in terms of the AFC in general, So in recent years, like
- 9:35the Atlanto Brown contract is such an anomaly in like Bengals lower because I mean
- 9:41there was like thirty something million guaranteed upfront, which is just an absurd number.
- 9:45It is for Bengal steners. Now now, now Joe Burrow's gonna obviously
- 9:48completely destroy that, but for an offensive Lineman specifically like this franchise, you
- 9:52know, low ball dandrewu Werth like twice and then they watched him win a
- 9:54Super Bowl with the Rams. So the fact that they shelled out that money
- 9:58for a single since the linement has been interesting because fans have been waiting for
- 10:01that for a long time to see like the guy like being brought in who
- 10:05wasn't like a draft pick or something like that. And I don't know if
- 10:09like one guy can elevate a unit from like below average to above average,
- 10:13but it's a it's an interesting case study to be to behold. And I
- 10:16think the fact that Arlanda Browns can't reached out to the Bengals for this opportunity
- 10:20because he realized that, you know, I'm I want to be a left
- 10:24tackle in this league exactly like JOA Williams wants to be left tackle in this
- 10:26league, by the way, and sometimes it doesn't work out, you know.
- 10:28But the fact that Brown had interests in joining the Bengals because of you
- 10:33know, the Bengals are a competitive team. That they've been the most competitive
- 10:35team compared to the Chiefs since Arlanda. Brown has gotten to Kansas City and
- 10:39the Bengals were able to work out a deal because of that mutual interest that
- 10:41both sides had. I think that sent a message probably to the team like,
- 10:46hey, like the dude of this caliber, even like you said,
- 10:48he's not a lead by any means, He's not gonna shut out Myles Garrett
- 10:52every time that they play. He's not gonna he's not gonna shut up every
- 10:54single lead rusher that he plays. But he's still a really good football player
- 10:58and he still has a lot of strains. That's that's why the Bengals give
- 11:01them the contract that they got. So I'm interested to see if that just
- 11:03creates maybe like a mental impact on this entire group, Like we gotta dude
- 11:07at left tackle for the first time since we're worth. I wonder if just
- 11:11his presence really elevates the game with the four other starters. Absolutely, and
- 11:16I think that it's it's so important. We've said it's time and time again
- 11:18on this podcast over the years that you know, if you do not have
- 11:20a solid offensive line, you're just not going to be able to do much
- 11:24of anything on offense, even with a talent like Jerbo Joe Burrow under center.
- 11:28If you don't have a succinct and just solid foundation there up front.
- 11:33You're just not going to be able to run the ball effectively. You're not
- 11:35going to be able to do play action or po type plays. You're not
- 11:39going to be able to do them as effectively. And I think, I
- 11:43really do think Orlando Brown is going to be able to work in conjunction with
- 11:46this line in a way that helps perpetuate this offense even more. And I
- 11:52guess that's a good segue too into the next topic, because I do wonder
- 11:56what happens with the running back position in SINCI with Joe and seemingly appearing to
- 12:01be heading out the door. Perhaps it's not one hundred percent at this point,
- 12:05but excuse me some J P. Ryan. He bolted for Denver,
- 12:07and sure the Bengals passed the ball a lot on offense, and they should
- 12:13because I got a guy like Joe Burrow thrown the football to receivers like Jamar
- 12:16Chase and Tee Higgins. They should be doing that. But I think they're
- 12:20going to need to get some type of explosive productivity out of the backfield if
- 12:24they want to take some pressure off of Burrow, take some pressure off of
- 12:28those receivers during specific times in the game where I think they may need to
- 12:31again in game type of situations where the running back is going to be critical.
- 12:35What are your thoughts about, really what happens to this Bengals running back
- 12:39position, the running back core this offseason here? John, So, the
- 12:45whole thing with like Joe Mixon specifically has been like, like we all thought
- 12:50I was going to go one way, and then the off season kind of
- 12:50played out how it did, and it looks like he's going to be,
- 12:54you know, the starter for at least another year. And I really liked
- 12:58what they did addressing like complimenting him this year because usually, like you look
- 13:03in years past, like Javine Bernard, Jeremy Hill, Joe Mixon, even
- 13:05they were all second round picks and then they were all drafted a year before,
- 13:09like the incumbent starter eventually left. And this is what a lot of
- 13:13people assumed to be Joe Mixon's last year with the Bengals. He's got two
- 13:16years left on this deal, and they went out and got a guy in
- 13:18Chase Brown in the fifth round, which I think is around the right place
- 13:22to draft a running back that you want to feature at least in like a
- 13:24complimentary role. But he's also a much different athlete than they than they usually
- 13:28gotten, Like they never really prioritize speed and explosion at the position, and
- 13:31Chase Brown is by far one of the most athletic running backs that they've had
- 13:35in a while, and I think he adds that dimension of explosiveness that they
- 13:39sorely lacked, Like Joe Mixon simply put like he was not explosive enough last
- 13:43year. He was not breaking tackles, he was not generating yards after contact.
- 13:46He left a lot of yards on the on the field and he made
- 13:50some ashe Pierre and looked like this this running back in comparison where he's like
- 13:54Somajia was creating explosive place Somaji was bouncing off tackle was like and Somaji parents
- 13:58a good running back, but he should not have been out performing Joe Mixon
- 14:01the way that he was. And I think that year allowed some japan to
- 14:03find an opportunity in Denver. So once once that happened, the Bengals had
- 14:07interest in bringing back some Jpran Once smag bolted, They're like, okay,
- 14:11like you know, we don't really have a way to upgrade the running back
- 14:15room free agency now that Prun's out the doors, So why don't we just
- 14:18hold on to Joe Mixon for another year? See if he just plays,
- 14:20you know, his butt off, just so that he doesn't get you know,
- 14:22thrown it to the waste land of twenty seven year old running backs in
- 14:26the year right, So there's a lot of motivation for him to play a
- 14:28lot better. There's a lot of money on the line. But they also
- 14:31realized that, you know, the future of this offense is we don't need
- 14:33to invest second round picks and running backs anymore when we have a passing offense
- 14:37that is so dominant and soap league going to you know, stay together for
- 14:39years to come. So I like what they did, but they definitely need
- 14:43Joe Mixing to play a lot better. For sure. I do wonder if
- 14:45and I know it's been talked to a lot and probably ad nauseum within h
- 14:50you know, Bengals Nation, But whether or not a possible trade for Joe
- 14:52Mixon could happen, And it depends on what the running back room is going
- 14:56to look like during training camp. I think, do you think it's a
- 14:58possibility Mixing could get traded around the training camp time at all. I just
- 15:05probably not find hard to believe that would trade for him. Okay, Like,
- 15:09like on top of the contract and the age, he's also got like
- 15:13a legal issue that's still pending, and like that's right, you know you're
- 15:18still supporting him, and you know they're just gonna go gonna buy what the
- 15:22court ruling is. And there's not really been end update on that. But
- 15:24I just don't foresee a team trading for us soon to be twenty seven year
- 15:28old running back at this point. Yeah, all right, very good,
- 15:31Well moving on here. I really wanted to talk about the defensive side of
- 15:35things here. Um, I think I think the defensive end. Miles Murphy
- 15:39out of Clemson was a great, great pick for the Bengals at number twenty
- 15:45eight overall in the NFL Draft, somebody I was looking at for the Philadelphia
- 15:48Eagles when the Eagles were picking late in the first round. Short. You
- 15:52know, some folks are talking about how he kind of took a step back
- 15:56his last season at Clemson, but he has some eight athleticism. You look
- 16:00at the film of him, just quick lateral movements, and I hope he'll
- 16:07be used for some stunt calls as well, because I think with his athleticism
- 16:11and his speed, he's gonna be very effective in terms of various stunts within
- 16:15within this Bengals defense. So how do you see Miles Murphy really being used
- 16:21his rookie season on defense? Maybe even if at all, because I liked
- 16:25the pickup and I think he could be somewhat of a difference maker for sure
- 16:29during his rookie season. What are your thoughts. That's a great point,
- 16:33actually, because I mean, Literaruma has been here for four or five years
- 16:36now, so he wasn't around when they drafted both Carlos Dunlap and Sam Hubbard.
- 16:40But I think there are a decent amount of similarities between Murphy and those
- 16:42two. And if you remember, like when Hubbard was a rookie, he
- 16:45was a rotational guy. He played in every game. I think he had
- 16:48six knap sacks that year, but he was used both as like three technique
- 16:52and like a rotational pass rushing defensive end. And he was on a lot
- 16:56of stunts with Dunlap. Even so, like those two guys, I think
- 17:00athletically a very similar to Murphy. But Murphy, like apparently he ran like
- 17:03he would have ran a four four nine forty if he didn't like like veer
- 17:06off to the side. Whatever clempsones pro day. I don't know if he's
- 17:08true not, but like he shows it on tape, he like he is
- 17:11he should not be able to move like that fast straight forward for being two
- 17:15hundred seventy pounds. So he was the first you know, actual defensive lineman
- 17:19drafted by the Bengals in the first round and in two decades, and they
- 17:22saved it for like a premier athlete now again, like he looked towards the
- 17:26Hubbard comparison. Hubbard is obviously a really good run defender and a socio pass
- 17:30rusher, and that's probably who Miles Murphy's is and is going to be for
- 17:33the first couple of years of his career. He just hoped that Mary and
- 17:37Hobby phenomenal defensive line coach, really good at you know, teaching techniques in
- 17:41hand usage, and that's where Murphy needs like the most work, Like he
- 17:44needs to deepen his bag of pass rushing moves. He's got a nice long
- 17:47arm and that helps being an explosive athlete with a great first step, Like
- 17:49he's got the base to improve as a pass rusher, and you like the
- 17:53fact that he's only twenty one years old. So right now he's gonna play,
- 17:56you know, hundreds of snaps. He's gonna give Trey Hendrickson a lot
- 18:00of time and rest, which is what he needs because he played a lot
- 18:03in these past two seasons. He ended up breaking down towards the end of
- 18:06this past season. So Miles Murphy just makes I think Tree Hendrickson a better
- 18:08player just because he keeps the more fresh throughout the season. And you're just
- 18:11hoping that Miles Murphy is a decent run defender who slowly grows at the past
- 18:15rush from the next couple of years. I really think this Bengals defense is
- 18:18going to be interesting to watch this year. I think there's going to be
- 18:21some growth. Quite frankly, and again, folks talking to John Shearon from
- 18:25a Doze sports eight z sports dot Com. Love that website, love the
- 18:29content they're putting up over there at John Underscore Underscore Saron. He is a
- 18:33great, great follow on the Twitter dot com And to close us out here
- 18:37on our Opposition Territory podcast, I like to get into two strengths and weaknesses
- 18:41of various teams that we're covering on a weekly basis, So why don't we
- 18:47get into some of these Bengals strengths and weaknesses. Let's start with the strengths.
- 18:51What is the biggest strength of this Bengals team as we're heading into the
- 18:55twenty twenty three season. Here, John pretty obvious when Burrow through the ball.
- 19:00You know, I have to ask it. I ask it every week
- 19:03with our guests, so I had to ask it. No, Like,
- 19:07I think the way that that strength kind of evolves is like the addition of
- 19:12Arlando Brown. I think it gives you an offensive line where like, like
- 19:17Brown's strength, like he doesn't lose the power right and like he'll lose to
- 19:21hell to speed off the edge. But burrows strength, I think in the
- 19:25pocket is like he recognizes, you know, pressure off the edge. He
- 19:27can he can manipulate those guys off the edge, he can move up in
- 19:32the pocket. You get five blockers who can stand their ground and hold up
- 19:36to power rushers. Like it, I think opens the playbook a lot more
- 19:38where it's not just getting the ball out in the first two and a half
- 19:41seconds because like the offense is fine like that, but right, but if
- 19:44you're throwing the ball fifty times a game. It's mainly a quick passing offense.
- 19:48You got defensive linemen who are just you know, pinning their ears back
- 19:49every single time. They know what's happening, right, and it creates sort
- 19:52of one dimensionality with the offense. I think now a strength of their offense
- 19:56can be the diversity, because you just have a more well comprised offensive line
- 20:00and you can keep all those classic staples in your passing game, but you
- 20:03can diversify more of play action, which is where they desperately need to improve.
- 20:07Like they were a terrible play action passing team. Maybe now they can
- 20:10go under center and they can be they can be more unpredictable for the defense,
- 20:14so that that's where a weakness last year their predictability and offense can turn
- 20:18into a strength. But obviously passing the ball is still great. I think
- 20:22I think shotgun running is their strength in the run game, and just on
- 20:25defense. I think they just they can mold to any offense that they need
- 20:29to, and that's why they've been so successful against some of the best offensive
- 20:32playmakers and just offenses in the league. Like Luna Rumo, he just has
- 20:36He's composed this defense that is just very versatile and it can change from week
- 20:41to week and you just never really know what's gonna happen. In terms of
- 20:44Joe Burrow, he has incredible pocket management, something that has always always astounded
- 20:48me just when watching him on the field. So let's move on the opposite
- 20:53side of the coin biggest weakness. What is the biggest weakness john on this
- 20:57Cincinnati Bengals team heading into the two twenty three season here, I think right
- 21:03now, until we see like Miles Murphy and what he does, I think
- 21:07still like getting to the quarterback is still like a relative weakness. They were
- 21:10I think twenty ninth and stacks last year. Yeah, because you had both,
- 21:12you had Hubbard injured at the end, you had Trey Andrickson breaking the
- 21:15risk. So they need to convert more of those pressures into sacks, right,
- 21:19and they need more I think depth along the interior of the defensive line
- 21:25too, because if DJ Reader goes down, they have no one even close
- 21:27who can clog up the middle like him. And that's just a testament to
- 21:30how good DJ Reader was. But that was an area where, like you
- 21:33would have assumed that they would have addressed some something in terms of the draft
- 21:36of free agency and defensive tackle depth, and they didn't really do that.
- 21:38They're counting on Zach Carter, who's the third unpick last year. They kind
- 21:42of him to improve a lot to play a lot of snaps this year.
- 21:45So depth along the difference interior is a weakness I think right now. And
- 21:48also until you see what the what the safety group looks looks like, you
- 21:52lost, you know, thousands of snaps between Jesse Bates and vomb Bell and
- 21:56you don't know how you know that turnover is going to look like. And
- 21:59a lot of it is, you know, being communicative, communicative on the
- 22:02back end of the defense and making those calls. And until you see guys
- 22:04like Nick Scotten Decks, he'll take that over. It's a weakness until it
- 22:07isn't again, folks, John Shearon a to Z Sports, it was great
- 22:11having you on, Buddy. I gotta say I do like the Arizona Diamondbacks
- 22:15hat you're wearing right here, Zoom call boy. They really took it to
- 22:18the Phillies recently. Dear lord, I'll tell you the diamond Backs surprising some
- 22:22folks in the Major League Baseball world this year I have no idea who the
- 22:26Diamebacks are. Now. This is just like the Luis Gonzalez Randy Johnson color
- 22:30way. It looks really cool, so I'm swam wearing it. Awesome,
- 22:33Awesome, all ride folks. John, come back join us down the road.
- 22:37I'd love to have you back on the show, my friend. Thanks
- 22:38so much, Jeff. Look, this Bengals team, as we were just
- 22:42talking about, have strength. They certainly have some weaknesses as well, but
- 22:47again, I still think they're going to be this powerhouse team in the AFC.
- 22:51What a talented roster they have. We were going through just what they
- 22:55have on offense, especially in a league where you know what, you gotta
- 22:59be able to pass the ball if you want to win games, and the
- 23:00Cincinnati Bengals are certainly gonna win their fair share of games this coming twenty twenty
- 23:04three season. It was great talking to John and again, folks, John
- 23:07Shearon at John Underscore Underscore Shearon, I love the underscore underscore. I don't
