- 0:43I wanted. To see this video because like a
- 0:45lot of people I know I do a lot of videos for adults and meals
- 0:47special but it's still possible that people SQL searching.
- 0:50For my content. To find out information on kids.
- 0:53So I've written down some ways you can identify autism in
- 0:55children for Aspergers for people who have the old
- 0:58nomenclature, which is now just autism special disorder.
- 1:00And it's good to know that. So the first thing I talk about
- 1:02is difficulty with social communication.
- 1:04Now this could be difficulty in initiating and maintaining
- 1:08conversation, understanding the flow of conversation,
- 1:10understanding nonverbal cues, hand gestures, facial
- 1:14expressions, you know, distance to the stand next to somebody,
- 1:17maintaining eye contact, even making eye contact.
- 1:20These are all traits that will display themselves in children
- 1:23who have Asperger syndrome. The next one is restricted
- 1:26repetitive behaviours or interest such as, you know,
- 1:28sticking to strict routines, fixating or one type of food to
- 1:31eat all the time, one type of TV show to watch all the time, one
- 1:35type of clothing to wear all the time.
- 1:36These are all very tell tale signs this person has Asperger
- 1:40syndrome. And the last one I'll talk about
- 1:41here is sensory sensitivities, which is an under or over
- 1:44sensitivity to things like sound, touch, smell, textures.
- 1:48It could even be temperature. It could be being in the room
- 1:50with certain people who have certain aftershaves on the.
- 1:52This is very difficult for people on the autism spectrum,
- 1:54especially those diagnose Asburger syndrome.
- 1:57Now not all of these are going to be present, but some of them
- 1:59are. Mainly all of them will be
- 2:01present than people with Asburger syndrome.
- 2:03Now it's not a diagnosis. I'm not diagnosing anybody.
- 2:05I'm just giving the information so people can have this
- 2:08information to go forward. Now I have an Autism Wifax PDF
- 2:11book that you can download completely for free right now.
- 2:14It's autismhacks.net or the link in the description down below.
- 2:17I'd love to know your thoughts on all the things I've talked
- 2:19about. Pop it in a comment down below,
