  Speaker 1: the scars. Don't hide the scars, Jeremiah thirty seventeen says.

  Speaker 1: of your wounds. Says the Lord. You know we all

  Speaker 1: have wounds from our past mistakes. Maybe we got off course,

  Speaker 1: we missed the mark, we failed, we gave in to temptation.

  Speaker 1: We did things we're not proud of. We hung a

  Speaker 1: wrong around the wrong people and allowed them to negatively
• 0:44
  Speaker 1: influence us well. The enemy would love to use those
• 0:49
  Speaker 1: failures and those flaws to keep us living in regrets
• 0:53
  Speaker 1: and guilt, focusing on what we did wrong. But instead
• 0:59
  Speaker 1: of guilt and come, we can let these same scars
• 1:03
  Speaker 1: remind us of the grace of God and how he
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: heals our wounds, even the self inflicted ones. Remember, his

  Speaker 1: grace is sufficient for you when you confess your sins.

  Speaker 1: The Word promises that he is faithful and he is
• 1:22
  Speaker 1: just to forgive you and cleanse you of all unrighteousness.

  Speaker 1: The Lord wants us to think about his mercy, to

  Speaker 1: think about his forgiveness, So don't try to hide the
• 1:35
  Speaker 1: scars that remain. Those scars aren't even a Those scars

  Speaker 1: aren't a sign that you're finished or you're done with.

  Speaker 1: Those scars are a sign that you've been healed. Those
• 1:50
  Speaker 1: scars are a sign that you've been forgiven. Those scars

  Speaker 1: are a sign that you are redeemed. There are a

  Speaker 1: sign that you're ready for Oh trust to know this.

  Speaker 1: be here. As long as you have breath in your lungs.

  Speaker 1: There's something for you to do. God has need of

  Speaker 1: flawed you. You have an assignment. Somebody needs what you have.

  Speaker 1: Somebody needs your love, somebody needs your smile, somebody needs

  Speaker 1: your gifts. Yes, you do have scars, but the scars

  Speaker 1: don't disqualify you. The scars prepare you to help somebody else.

  Speaker 1: So don't hide your scars. They're a reminder of how

  Speaker 1: God brought you through, and how if He brought you through,

  Speaker 1: he'll bring somebody else through as well. When you share

  Speaker 1: and when you testify about the goodness of God. Oh Father, God,

  Speaker 1: thank you that you've borne our Greece and you carried
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: our sorrows, and by your stripes we are healed. Thank

  Speaker 1: you that the scars tell the story of what you've
• 3:05
  Speaker 1: done in our lives and your greatness to forgive and

  Speaker 1: to redeem. God, we trust you, and that you will

  Speaker 1: use those scars to help others find healing as well.

  Speaker 1: In Jesus' name. Hey, now that's your word for today.

  Speaker 1: I want you to take it, apply it to your

  Speaker 1: everyday life and you continue to be encouraged and inspired.
