Life Sentences for Revenge Plot | San Jose News
Two men, Isileli Mahe and John Talia Paasi, just received life sentences without parole for a brutal 2020 murder plot that ended in 14 gunshots to the victim, Ueta Muasika, and one to his two-year-old son. The revenge-driven attack, premeditated and carried out in Muasika’s own driveway, stemmed from the 2019 arson death of Paasi’s grandmother — killed by Muasika’s cousin, who’s already serving life. Both defendants, with Paasi’s prior felony, were convicted for aiding and abetting the crime. The DA called it senseless and devastating, while the victim’s family expressed satisfaction. A…
