- The Drama Drop: What's up everybody? Welcome back to another episode of the Drama Drop. As you can see, if you've been following along on my stories, I have made it back from Utah successfully. I don't know how we got here. I honestly thought I was gonna become a resident, but we made it. So like I said, if you've been following along on my stories, I know I mentioned that I was going to be recording the pod from the hotel room, but I just want the best for you guys. You guys deserve it. And the sound quality, the lighting, it just was not it. It was not hitting. So we scratched that. And we were just hoping and praying that we were gonna make it back home in time for me to record and drop it at the normal schedule. So we made it, we're here. ⁓ so I do want to go over my quick trip at quick. It wasn't quick. My trip at Utah. Okay. I just have to cover that first and foremost. We got a little bit of housekeeping to do. Utah was beautiful. Okay. I I just don't think you guys really understand when you live in a very plain sea level area. And when I say plain, I mean like plains, not like it's plain because there's a lot going on here in Texas. But ⁓ yeah, to step out and see mountains literally every single which way you turn. It was absolutely stunning. We stayed at the St. Regis in Deer Valley. Absolutely beautiful. I would stay there a million times over. ⁓ When you're going up to the resort, okay, it feels like Christmas time. And, you know, you might be like, Ugh, why do you want to feel that in the summer? But it was just so beautiful, so pretty. I just kept saying to my husband, ⁓ my gosh, we got to come back here during Christmas because it is absolutely gorgeous. I mean, you're going up like this town, the town just kind of looks very curated, you know, like not completely uniform, but uniform enough to where it's like, okay, you know, your house kind of has to look a certain way if you're a resident or, you know, there is the resort and then you're going up a winding road. They have these huge trees. And around the resort, the trees are all lit up. So it just made it feel really cozy and like Christmas time. So I can only imagine what it's like during Christmas time. ⁓ but yeah, so I mean, just the resort alone, I was absolutely in love. I was like, ⁓ yep, this is where I'm supposed to be so beautiful. ⁓ the room. We had a fireplace in the room. I'm a sucker for a fireplace in the room, especially. So that was definitely a plus. but honestly, I mean, we had a really great time. It was a very relaxing, much needed relaxing time because we are constantly on the go. I feel like, and anytime we take a trip, the itinerary is full. Like we are booked almost minute for minute. And so it was really nice to kind of just have a very relaxing trip, take it very easy. We did a stargazing tour, which might sound lame, I don't know, but you really don't think about how much you don't see stars anymore. At least like where we are, you know, in the city suburbs, there's too much light going on. So he was like the when my husband was like, when's the last time that you've seen a star? And I was like, actually, you're right, I don't know. So it was actually really cool to kind of be in the middle of nowhere, quiet, and just really taking what's around you. I know that sounds so cheesy, but it really was like so cool. And I'm really glad that we did it. ⁓ so if you ever have the opportunity to do a stargazing tour and you live in like the city suburbs where you just really don't get to see that anymore, definitely do that because I I don't know. It was just it was really cool. ⁓ there was only like 10 of us. So I don't know, it was just really, really fun, really pretty, also really cold. I just was not expecting it to be as cold as it was. ⁓ but yeah, so we did that and that was super fun. We walked along Main Street, checked out all the cute little shops. It felt like a very Hallmark-esque, if you will, type of town. ⁓ it was just super cute seeing everybody like the place is so clean, such a clean city. I mean, the whole state was very clean and I don't know, just made for walking and enjoying the outside that much more pleasurable. And then we ate at this place called Freshie's. So if you don't know what Freshie's is, it's Like this very little hole in the wall type of place. ⁓ this guy, the owner, he's from Boston and he loves a lobster roll. And so he moved to Utah basically, was like, okay, how do I get a good lobster roll? Flies in fresh lobster every morning to provide said lobster roll. And let me tell you, he provided because you can't really get a lobster roll here in Texas. That's not very common. And also, too, sometimes it's like, ooh, do I want to risk it? We don't, we don't have. All that fresh ⁓ lobster just rolling in daily. So I was excited to ⁓ my hands on a lobster roll because that's just not very common around here. ⁓ ⁓ but yeah, that recommendation actually was from Jordan. Yes, the Jordan from Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Thank you, Jordan. Excellent recommendation. So if you ever find yourself in Utah, definitely need to step up Freshie's ⁓ And yeah, need a lobster roll. They have other things too with lobster, which I wasn't prepared for. I was just Like thinking, okay, it's pretty much just lobster rolls and like hot dogs. But no, they had lobster back and cheese. I wanted to go back to get that. So I'm definitely gonna have to go back to get that. But you won't be disappointed. I mean, the lobster was so, so delicious. But all in all, it was really beautiful, really relaxing. ⁓ we got to see way more than what we planned on because we ended up getting stuck. We yes, like stuck for over 48 hours. We were supposed to be back on a Sunday. I'm recording this on a Wednesday. Okay. So just like put that in perspective. We got there on a Thursday. So we were all there for almost a week. You know, just way longer than what we were planned for. living out of a suitcase. It was just a lot. And but you know, if it we were gonna be stuck anywhere, at least it was there where was so pretty. Everybody's so nice. The weather was just so refreshing. elevation definitely got me a little bit, but It's neither here nor there. So yeah, I'm just happy to be back. I'm happy to record where I feel most comfortable to give you guys the best episode ever because we have to talk about it. Okay. We're gonna we're gonna address the elephant in the room. We're gonna just go right into it, just like Andy did, because obviously that's what's hot right now. That's what you're here for. That's what I honestly waited to record for so I could watch the first part of the reunion of Summer House so we can talk about it because ⁓ my gosh, let me just say that was a whole that was a lot. That was a lot for all of us. And ⁓ yeah, we're just gonna go right into it. I hope you guys are ready. So sit down because I that was way more like I really didn't know what to expect fully. I mean, I know we got some leaked audio a couple weeks ago. So I knew like that was going to be good, but I just the intro was way better than what I was thinking. And when I say intro, I mean Normally with the reunions of Bravo, it's kind of just showing everybody rolling on up, you know, to get their hair and makeup done, get the whole looks ready. You're not really getting like too much, I feel like, in terms of anxiousness, feeling what people are feeling, you know, Andy beeping from room to room, checking in on people. You're not really getting all of that. So for this, I just loved the formula of the setup. I mean, it starts with. Lindsay and Kyle, they're filming confessionals for their new show in the city. Okay. So timelines are a big thing here, right? So it shows March 31st. Okay. They are starting doing confessionals, little do they know the whole statement that's when that drops from West and Amanda. Basically, kind of just like, yeah, you know, we're trying to figure out things. Like we are really close friends, but things grew more. Whatever that BS statement was that they put out. Yeah. So It kind of goes starts from there of that dropping while they're in the middle of filming ⁓ confessionals, which I don't know. I loved the rawness of that because I felt like it was really, it really was for able for us to see, you know, how the cast experienced that drop, you know, because obviously, just as fans, we're watching it, you're just seeing it all unfold, and it's just so crazy. But to kind of just see in real time. their reactions, their raw reactions and clearly affecting everybody. I mean, you have the whole cast basically calling each other. It's one conference call. Okay. They're all getting together on a Zoom Teams meeting, whatever you want to call it, to discuss this because everybody is just like, this is insane that this is happening. And you know, it's one thing too, because it's like everybody kind of had speculations, like something is going on. They seem way too close. Like this just is not normal. But you know, it is so different once you get that confirmation. Like you're like, okay. Everything that I felt could have been a little crazy and I was told no, this isn't true. And then to see it, it's just kind of to see and get the confirmation of it, it's just kind of like, whoa, you know, you I feel like you're in a tailspin. ⁓ but yeah, I really loved how I felt like it created a lot of suspense, you know, just the whole cast getting together on the phone, obviously, besides Weson Amanda, but you have Amanda or sorry, you have Lindsay, Kyle. Mia, Jesse, Car, you know, all of them kind of just like, what the hell is going on? Like this is insane. ⁓ so we move from that to kind of, you know, now to like a normal reunion setup of everybody else kind of getting ready in their room. ⁓ you know, when ⁓ Andy, he's just like stopping by, you know, and he's checks in on Ciara, which I absolutely loved. But it was really hard to see Ciara and Kyle. You know, they just were getting really emotional and it was just a really hard watch. And you I can just like I had a pit in my stomach, honestly, just watching them walk into the studio wherever they're recording, because I could just only imagine how anxious they all felt. ⁓ I mean, I didn't really care about like what Amanda and West felt. I mean, honestly, I don't think West felt any I don't even think he knew where he was. I'll be so for real. I don't even think he did. But I just like feeling what Ciara would be feeling in Kyle, like my stomach was literally a knots. I was like, I, this is so uncomfortable to watch, honestly, but obviously I'm not gonna not watch it. and so yeah, know, Andy, he's just talking to her, and that's when she gets a little bit of emotional. And I was like, okay, honestly, I don't want her to get too emotional ⁓ on couch, you know, when they're all talking. So I'm like, this is perfect. Get this out now because I I need you to just be so fierce in the actual reunion. Like, I don't want you to show any sign of I wouldn't say weakness, because crying is not weakness, okay? But just kind of, I don't know. I just want you to feel or show more intenseness than sadness, if that makes sense. So I was like, okay, good. Get this all out now. ⁓ but yeah, and then We see Andy move over to Amanda and West. Okay. It's like they are the stepchildren, the the ⁓ black sheep of the cast now. They're kind of shunned over to the side, just them getting ready. And it's so, I don't know, it's just so weird to me. Cause it's like, obviously, I mean, you're not gonna put Amanda in with anybody else. Like that just wouldn't make any sense. But to go from the show where, you know, they're just so playful and friends and Whatever to now it's West coming in, addressing her with a kiss. They're all kind of like cuddly, like, how are you doing? How are you like preparing to go to war together? It was just uncomfortable. It's so strange. Like the whole thing is just very bizarre. ⁓ you know, because it's just not something that wouldn't normally have happened. ⁓ ⁓ you know, we have Andy coming in and I love it. You know, he's asking her, like, how are you feeling? She cannot look at him for anything. ⁓ just looking like straightforward. I don't if she took like a beta blocker or what, but there just didn't really seem to be much emotion. and you know, it just was she just kept saying, like, I just want to clear up the timeline. I just want to clear up the timeline. Like that just seemed to be the main theme for tonight's up or sorry, last night's episode was timeline, clearing up a timeline. That was the most important to these people. That's what it seemed. but I mean, you could you could see just kind of like The anxiousness, the fears starting to dwell up into her, which good, it should, because nothing is more annoying than if you act too unbothered when you should be the one that's bothered. You know what I mean? Like, I don't, I don't want basically like a West, okay? Like again, I don't know if he even knew where he was. I don't even know if he was realizing that they were filming a reunion. He just seemed so on autopilot and it just was driving me insane. But I mean, that he's that's just the kind of person that he is. Like he's not, I don't think, I don't even know if he has emotions, to be completely honest. So yeah, so that was a lot of like the pre reunion, like the pre couch situation. Okay. And I really appreciated it. I appreciated the formula, kind of getting a little bit of background, kind of just the intensity and anxiousness leading up to when everybody's walking out to find their place on the couch. And yeah, so I mean. We're even getting that, you know, they're walking out. Everybody looks really good. Even Amanda. Yeah, she did look gorgeous. Except I'm really honestly not entirely sure what that decision was with her hair. But whatever. I mean, you know, she is the cool chill girl, I suppose. So I guess that's what was going on with that. But I mean, Ciara, Lindsay, whew, like they looked so good. Absolutely jaw dropping. And I find it hilarious because as Ciara walks out, You it's panned over to West and he kind of makes like a face, like, ooh, like, mm, but you messed that up, buddy. Like, there's nothing for you there. So it doesn't even matter. But it's just like hilarious. It's like you're literally sitting next to your new girl and you're looking at your old girl like, ooh, all googly eyed and whatever. Embarrassing, embarrassing. ⁓ but anyway, so they're like sitting down and stuff, and it's just so funny because it's like. Honestly, we got more reaction from West when he found out. Okay, and let me just go back by saying, like, we haven't like officially started yet. Okay. It's not Andy being like, all right, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. No, like this is everybody's getting like situated. Okay. So we get more reaction from West when he finds out that his nudes have been leaked than we do like the whole part one of the reunion. So I just thought that was absolutely hilarious. I was like, ⁓ my gosh, like he We got more out of him. Like he has a pulse. Like there is something going on there. Like he does care a little bit. I mean, not fully. It's like he wasn't too worried about it. But again, like I said, there was that was just like the most reaction out of the whole situation that we saw in part one was the fact that he found out he got his nudes leaked. And also I thought it was such losory, weirdo behavior for Amanda to chime in and be like, ⁓ I haven't even gotten any of those, or whatever she said, basically saying, like, ⁓ I haven't gotten a nude from you. Weird. weird. It's like you were coming here and you're saying you tell Andy that you feel so bad for what you did to your friend, Ciara, ⁓ all of that. I mean, no mention of Kyle, but like you feel so bad. But then you're gonna be sitting right across from her, joking, talking about her ex ⁓ that you didn't get yet. I don't know. The whole thing was just so I was like, ew, like that's disgusting. ⁓ the room for just a little bit and pretend that you care. Pretend that you care. Actually don't because you're really bad at it. But anyways, we start the reunion. Okay. So we're like officially now, it's like game time. Andy sits down, he cues the start, says hello to everybody, does all of the intros, you know, that he does. It's like, hey, you look lovely. How's it going? Does like a little, just like a little jab wherever he needs to. I mean, only some people. I mean, but so I mean, I think it was amazing that he started off with. The elephant in the room, i.e., Amanda, West, Kyle, Ciara, that whole thing. Because truly, honestly, I don't know if my heart could have handled had we addressed other topics ⁓ other than this whole situation that we got going on. ⁓ I keep wanting it to call it a trifecta or like love triangle because I keep forgetting about poor Kyle. Okay, poor Kyle, but he's a part of it too. So I gotta figure out like a quadrant, a quadrant? No, I don't know. We'll we'll workshop that. on what we can call this whole situation, because I don't want to call it Scamandoval or I don't know. I don't know. There just hasn't been a name that's described the situation that's truly hit for me. So we'll workshop some ideas and maybe I'll come back ⁓ next week with something. But anyways, so we are starting off strong by talking about this whole tragedy and betrayal. I'm again, like I said, thank God for Andy for doing that because I don't think anybody could have handled Going on some other BS before this because let's be real, there's gonna be three parts. So obviously, other things have happened this summer, other things are going on with other people. We're going to get to that. And I guarantee we will continue with the whole issue that's going on at front and center. But ⁓ to kind of just go ahead and dip the toe in the water a little bit was perfect. So We're diving right in, and it kind of just really starts with Andy. You know, he's going to West. Basically, like, what's so funny? It's like you guys want to talk about timelines. You were on Watch What Happens live March 24th, but nearly like maybe not even a week later, March 31st, that's when this whole statement came out and rocked everybody's world. You guys both Amanda West put out a joint statement. You know, kind of saying, ⁓ we grew close. We were already friends. We're kind of figuring things out. We're tired of the speculation. Like we don't want to cause any pain. Yada yada yada. You know, the whole PR statement thing that I always talk about that I hate on a black screen, white font, whatever it is. Anyways, so just kind of being like, All right, well, what was the deal with that? You know, you claimed with your chest that no, she's just a friend. I just care about her as a person. And then not even a week later, now all of a sudden this thing drops. To the whole world that you guys are more than just friends. And not even like before he could finish, I mean, Ciara is hot and ready. Like she is ready to go. She's like, you guys are just so shady. Like everything you say is a lie. It's like I don't even know where to start with you two because you got like everything you say is a lie. It just doesn't make sense. This whole timeline situation. but you know, they You it's very clear to me that Amanda and West have practiced what they were gonna say, what the timelines are of everything. Like it's very clear to me. And I mean, I'll get a into it a little bit more, but it's very clear to me because Amanda, I feel like anytime a question seems to be addressed to West or almost anybody else, like Amanda quickly jumps in. It's like she's so scared that he's not gonna answer correctly. And she needs to, you know, make sure that, whatever she wants to be portrayed is going to be portrayed, or it's like they both you know, it's just so weird because it's like you wouldn't just I don't know. I just wouldn't think that you would just have like these dates so s particular in your mind, both ready to go. And then you're both saying them. It's just kind of weird. You know, like I would have to think. I'd be like, okay, wait, when did we go do that? ⁓ wait, let me look. ⁓ okay. Like we both wouldn't be like, ⁓ April fifteenth. You know what I mean? Like it's just kind of very bizarre. ⁓ but Really, so I mean, Ciara, she comes in and she's just talking to Amanda like point blank. Like, I'm so confused because like I asked you so many times, like, is anything going on? Like she she mentioned like she first started speculating things were odd in the beginning of January. And, you know, she's just not feeling good about it. You know, she Knows Amanda's going through a lot, like her divorce with Kyle. So she's like trying to hang out with her, trying to get her to come hang out with her and Mia. Like, let's go do things. Like, like, let me help you take your mind off of all of this stuff. And, you know, Amanda's trying to be like, no, you didn't. And Sarah's like, yes, I at 1000% did. Like, don't even try to say. And she's just like, I just don't understand why this is happening. Like, how did this even come about? Like, how did this start? Like, it just doesn't make sense. And Amanda, you know, she is ten toes down with West was there for me. Like he's my friend. I was hanging out with him. Like he was there for me. And Sears just absolutely beside herself by like, how was I not there for you? If anything, you weren't allowing me to be there for you. Okay. And I don't know. I'm sorry. It's just like at least how I view it, and like with my friends and our friend group. Yeah, you can be cool with like the boyfriend, husband, whatever, but as soon as that is not a thing anymore, like you cut that off. Okay. Like it's your girlfriends first every single time. Like, no question. And I understand that they have like this quote unquote family that they've built, just like being on the show and like they grow super close to each other. But if Ciara is your friend that you claim, one of your best friends, like you guys are so close, like you care so much about her heart that you were talking about all season long. I'm sorry. I just don't think you would be entertaining West as a friend by any means. Because it's like, why would you want that guy to be your friend? Like if he can do that to somebody that you really care about, why would you even want him as a friend? And so it's just very odd. You know, it's like one thing. If you're hanging out with other people, you guys have other mutual friends and he's around, okay, like whatever. But to actively choose him over your girlfriends is sketchy. It's so sketchy and it's There's no excuse for it. So for her to try to like with her chest be like, No, he was there for me, BS, because you have other friends that can be there for you. Ciara tried to be there for you. Ciara and Mia tried to be there for you. You just didn't pick them because you didn't want to, because you wanted to be with West and you cared about West, so you say, or whatever that whole thing is. It's like that's where you were putting all your eggs in this one basket. So it's just comical to me that you are out here being like, It's not my fault. Like I grew feelings. It's like Well, you're putting yourself into a situation to yeah, potentially grow feelings. Like if you are consistently hanging out with somebody and one-on-one, and if you're talking about deep things, you know, emotionally, whatever, yeah, that could potentially grow. So for you to be like, ⁓ my gosh, like I just don't even know how this happened, what do you mean you don't know? Like you basically formulated it to happen. Like you calculated it. Like you did the scientific Pythagorean theorem equation to get it to happen. You did everything to make it happen. You know what I mean? It's like you did not do anything to avoid it. You weren't like, ⁓ this is kind of weird. I'm starting to feel a certain way. Let me back off. Or like, I don't know. I'm just trying to think of it. It's like, I mean, I would try to put it into perspective of, okay, I wonder what how she would feel if Just Ciara and Kyle were out beep hopping around, but she doesn't care about Kyle like one bit. So I mean, that kind of is a mute point. But you know what I mean? It's like, why? Like it just doesn't make sense. Cause like I'm just thinking if I'm going through a tough time or if like that's something that I'm going through, I'm gonna be hitting up my best friends that are girls, my girlfriends. You know what I mean? It's just, I don't know. It's really weird. So like what she says doesn't even make any sense. ⁓ but you know, Amanda is just like, she's she is not It doesn't even look like she feels bad. Okay. Doesn't even look like she cares. I feel like she's trying to make it seem like she cares, but like she doesn't. And you know, she told Andy, she's like, I see her as my friend. I feel terrible that I am causing her pain, but you don't get any of that on that couch. No. Like she is fully committed to her actions and how she feels and everything that she's done. Which, okay, I gotta give that to her because that's so like I've mentioned before. How we, you know, whenever I was kind of doing my predictions on this reunion, I was gonna be very annoyed if it was very much like meek backing down. Not that I agree with it by any means. Like I don't agree with any of her actions at all, but at least say it with your chest, at least like make continuing to hate you so much easier for the audience because like you're not backing down. Like you are very much like, this is exactly what happened. This is what I did. Sorry, and downplaying it. ⁓ and then you have West sitting right next to her, and he is not saying a dang word. Like he does not care that people are are coming at her left and right. I it's not just Ciara. You have Lindsay getting at her, you have Mia. people are just kind of like, What are you talking about? Like, this doesn't make any sense. ⁓ ⁓ I think what really got people was ⁓ you know, again, like I said, that they were very particular about this whole timeline situation. So to them, it's like Okay, you're putting out the statement March 31st. Okay. You're saying like you just can't help it. Like you are so wrapped up, like you didn't really mean to, but like this is what's happening. The statement comes out March 31st. And then they tell us that their first kiss is at the end of February, when I guess they had this whole brunch. So let's just say February twenty eighth, like legit the last day of February. So then you have all of March to, I guess. whatever, hang out, figure out things. And then at the end of March, March 31st, that's when you choose to put out the statement of like you're figuring things out, like whatever. Sorry to everybody that we've hurt, cause paint, et cetera, et cetera. But then you tell everybody, because Andy hits them with, when was the first time y'all slept together? And they both go after the statement. So let's think about this. I wish I had a white board ⁓ that we could just like do a little diagram. But They've recorded the reunion. I wanna say it was April 15th or like around April 15th. So like Andy didn't say it was like three weeks. Now they're filming this after the statement has gone out. So it didn't really click for me in that exact moment, but it was just like, yeah, wait a second. Okay, so you're so caught up. Like you guys are so just like you cannot help it, have to be together. Like there's just no stopping it. It's this magnetic force that you just cannot fight. Like you would be against nature if you fought against being with each other, but you've only kissed. So everything that you are willing to throw away, all the hurt you're willing to cause, all the pain you're willing to cause, just the friendships, like any potential of like your image, your reputation, jobs, whatever you have going on for you, you're willing to just throw All of that away, risk it because all you've done is kiss and you're trying to figure it out. Doesn't make sense. Doesn't make sense. And they clocked them on that. They were just kind of like, okay, so it so real. Like you're just figuring out in this moment and you guys haven't even slept together yet, but you just have to throw everything away and didn't think, ⁓ let's reverse it instead, no, like let's move forward, like let's fast forward, like let's put this thing. in X Games mode because why not? I don't know. It just doesn't make any sense. ⁓ ⁓ it's ⁓ I don't know. I just feel like with what know them out in the Super Bowl and other pictures that were escalate or sorry, like being speculated around on the internet. I just there's just no way that all of that just happened to start at the end of February. It just It's not true. And again, why I think that for sure, it's like, well, one, yeah, we have all that other evidence, but two, the way that they answer, the way that they move during this reunion, it seems like these answers are very well rehearsed, or it's very much like like jumping in as quick as she can to make sure that West doesn't say something stupid or that that doesn't align with the timeline. ⁓ yeah, so I mean, it just seems like that was really like an important thing ⁓ don't know, doesn't doesn't make much sense to me. ⁓ am also just sitting here like watching and I feel so bad for Kyle because right now it's very much like full force of Ciara ⁓ everything that ⁓ ⁓ know, just like her pain and everything that she's going through, which understandably so, like, yes, like she this poor woman has gone through so much with this man. And I hope well, no, it will be the last of it because There's just no way. But, you know, and then also to her friend. But it's like, is anybody gonna check on Kyle? Are we checking on him? Like, hopefully, in part two or three, we get some sort of like anything from him. Like, he just looks so sad. And it's just, it's really heartbreaking. Like, you can just see too. It's like Amanda is getting absolutely destroyed on this couch. Okay. Like, she is getting shots fired at her from all angles. And West. On autopilot. It's like he's like, is this almost done? Like, can we wrap this up? Like, that's the energy that he's bringing to the reunion. And Kyle, like, you just look at her, like, I mean, you look at him and he just looks so sad. And like, he even goes to see her. It's like, all right, come on, like, lay off a little bit. Like, feeling bad for Amanda, it's like, this dude, I don't know what it is because they've obviously had a very like terrible marriage, but there is something about Amanda that Kyle, I mean, he just loves her, you know. Whether that's even like romantically anymore or whatever. I mean, I honestly think if Amanda were to be like, no, never mind, like let's stay married, he would. But I just I don't know, you just see like in his heart, it's like he feels like he hates hearing all of this, obviously, because I mean, yes, it's hurting him, but it's like he hates that she's getting it. And, you know, he can't even really chime in because he just I don't know. I just feel like he feels more hurt than angry yet at this point, at least in the reunion. So I hope we get a little bit more. I hope, and I'm sure we will, because like I said, it's only a part one and we have so much to cover. I know that there's other things that Andy wants to touch on. Well, I don't even know if he wants to touch on it to be completely honest, but has to touch on because we can't just talk about this, even though I wouldn't mind it. I honestly wouldn't mind it. ⁓ but yeah, so I just I feel I feel really bad. I mean, towards the end of the first part one, you know, is when I feel like we're really starting to see emotions from Amanda because, you know, it kind of just goes to you feel like Sear is just kind of like, you know what? Maybe they are good for each other because you know, she's throwing in her digs. And let me just say too, like, if we compare it to Scandaval and that reunion, Raquel didn't have a chance, okay. She was absolutely getting destroyed. Like the way that those women were attacking her was insane. It was like, can somebody do a pulse check on Raquel? Because like I don't think she's okay. And I also will say, you know, Tom Sandoval, he did stick up for her and come to her defense in some parts. And I don't know, like that they went so hard on Raquel. Okay. Here I will say that it doesn't seem like a lot of personal digs. It doesn't seem like a lot of I'm trying to think the best way to describe it. I just feel like Ciara used her words very intellectually. Like she annihilated her very intellectually and classy. I mean, I know. I haven't seen what the masses masses has said about it, but like that's that's my opinion. I just feel like with how much hurt and betrayal and just like pain she was feeling, she could have gone so much She could have hit way low in the belt. And I felt The way that she used her words and the way that she came across like sure, there were a couple of, you know, harsh words to be exchanged, but it wasn't necessarily calling, name calling, or anything like that. It was just like frustration coming through. But I just feel like she handled herself very classy in the manner of which the whole situation was. You know, it was like steaming hot, hot oven, and she really, I don't know, just like I said, she came across Very stern, very matter of fact, very hurt, very upset, and very disappointed, but also like this is it and this is what you you did to me and this is why I just don't understand. Explain to me this, X, Y, Z. It wasn't a lot of attacking. It was more of just like, please explain this to me, and then her rebuttal, you know what I mean? But I will say at the very end of that part one, she really, you know, I feel like she needed to get some jabs out just to kind of cleanse the soul a little bit, because how could you not, honestly? So I mean, she says she's like, I think, you know, who knows? There's probably a world in which this actually will work out because everybody is so adamant on like, why are you acting like a fool, Amanda? Like, I mean, they're even talking about West having another girlfriend very close in time as to when he's like hanging out with Amanda. And Amanda's like, ⁓ no, I know he was dating her. So, like, that's super embarrassing. You know, he's out beep popping around with other girls, other women. And you're just like, no, I knew that. But like you're like, like that's your man. Like what? ⁓ everybody's pretty much just kind of saying, like, all right, Amanda, like you're next. Like you think you can change him. Like you're not. Like at some point he's gonna get bored or whatever. You're not gonna serve him anymore. I don't know. He's gonna screw you over. ⁓ Ciara kind of just like wraps all that up with a nice little bow and says, Well, I don't know, actually, guys. Like they may be very well. Perfect for each other because Amanda's weak, Amanda's mute, Amanda will let a man walk all over her. And West needs somebody like that. He needs to be the star. He needs to be the one in charge, the one that's getting all the attention. And let me tell you, I don't know if any of you guys noticed it, but he nods to that. He nods after Ciara's doing like a whole manifesto of why she's like, actually, they may be perfect for each other because Amanda's so weak and West can basically go do whatever he wants. You see Amanda like rolling her eyes back. It's almost like she's biting her tongue, biting her lips, something to kind of like not cry. And West is like, Yeah, like you're right. Like he didn't say that, but he's like, hmm. Like Ciara makes a great point. And I was like, wait, no, does he know that he's doing that right now? Or was that just like his subconscious, like he agrees, or that's his intention? He doesn't even know that he nodded and was like, Yeah, like Ciara, you make much sense. That's a perfect point, and you're correct. ⁓ anyway, so it kind of just like ends off with that. Like I I don't know, it was it was kind of crazy. So I thought we had a very excellent, like first part of the reunion. Obviously, like I've said, we have part two and we have part three. And I'm really excited to see the rest of it because there's no way that we're done with this whole segment of it. Like there's just no way. I just don't know what else we would talk about to fill up the time with two more parts that and not feed back into this. I mean, it kind of ends in the preview of Amanda walking away and Kyle's like, Do I go? And they're all like to West, go get your girl. Like he's just sitting there. I don't know. It's just kind of a hard watch because Amanda's really taking a beating, as she should, but Ky or sorry, not Kyle. ⁓ West is just kind of like along for the ride. He says what he feels like he needs to say of yes, I've lied in this situation. I take full accountability. I apologize. But like his tone, demeanor, he seems very bored, doesn't wanna be there. Like everything that he's saying is just checking a box, just doing his due diligence. And yeah, I don't know. I don't know. So I'm very curious to see how the rest of the parts are gonna go. Obviously, it doesn't matter really like the outcome in terms of what's gonna happen to Kyle and Amanda, because those two have literally fled the country to Rome to avoid all of this. I'm guessing. I don't know, timing could be coincidence. I don't know, based on the timeline on when part one came out and them going to Rome, it looks like they're trying to flee the country and avoid all of this. But I mean, I'm sorry, like the US or sorry, out of the country, Europe, your phone's still gonna get like you can still check online. So I don't know how much you're truly like avoiding. ⁓ but yeah, so that is part one of the reunion. there'll be more to talk about for sure. For sure. I'm enjoying seeing everybody's like, Analyzations and ⁓ just their thoughts on everything. but yeah, it just really looks like they're very focused on trying to portray a specific timeline, which at this point I think it almost makes them look more stupid because like I said, you're focusing on when XYZ happened, but you know, and you're claiming you guys didn't get intimate until Way later. But if that was the case, why did you think, let's actually hit the gas pedal, not the brake? Not reverse. Let's hit it and drive and go forward. You know what I mean? Very bizarre, very losery, very weirdo behavior. But at least Ciara knows the kind of people that she's dealing with and doesn't actually have to deal with them anymore. So at least she can like shed of them ⁓ and forward and just put her energy on people that actually do matter and actually do care about her because. She is way too gorgeous, waste way too stunning, way too smart to be dealing with any of that. So happy for her on that. But anyways, let's move on. ⁓ I don't really have too many other topics to talk about because obviously, like this was the meat of the episode. But I do want to touch a little bit on the AMAs because I just was very confused by that. And I have to, I have to be so honest with you guys. Like I'm so tired of. getting all s excited for an award show and get being so disappointed. And I'll start by saying that I don't know if it's because maybe I'm aging out. You know what I mean? Like maybe this just isn't for me anymore. But it doesn't make sense because I feel like the Oscars and Grammys, like, I feel like I'm a part of that too. But I just never understand the nominations and the people that win because I just again just get so confused. But like before I get on my gripes about the AMAs, I will, I do wanna just give my claps and snaps to Hannah Burner. Okay. Love her, as we all know. She looked absolutely amazing, so stunning, just gorgeous. I just was like, absolutely, this is Paige approved for sure. I know she ran it by her. She ran it across Paige's desk. And Paige said, yes. ⁓ but I was so excited to see her ⁓ host and or not host, sorry, present an award. I thought she did absolutely amazing. She killed it, crushed it. And then she was also with Lisa Renna, which iconic, like that's amazing. And I'll be honest, I didn't even know that the AMAs were happening. I had no idea until my husband said something. And I was like, ⁓ cool. Anyways, so that was just like a really pleasant surprise to see Hannah Berner on my screen. And she was funny, gorgeous. I just, I don't know. I love her. So she did amazing. But I will say I had a gripe with her category and the winner of her category. Okay. So the category was something of like the throwback of the year. Okay. And it wasn't just like throwbacks, like just any kind of throwback. It was, you know, throwbacks that have resurfaced. So like TikTok trends, okay. for example, okay, you're we're talking about like the Iris song by Goo Goo Dolls, where it's like, Mom, what were you like in the nineties? And then it flashes back to old pictures of her in the nineties or whatever playing Iris. Okay. That's what I'm talking about. But that didn't win. And I wanted that to win. That was a nomination. Why did that not win? Let me tell you who won if you don't know. It was Black Eyed P's Rock Your Body. What? Did did you heard that right, right? Rock Your Body by Black Eyed Peas was the winner for throwback of the year. I'm sorry. Like that's laughable. Like I have no beef with Black Eyed Peas, okay? So Fergie, if you're listening, do not come for me. But and I enjoy that song. Like that's a great song. But like that is just not what I would think would classify as the rowback of the year. Like I don't know. I just don't, I don't agree with it. And I didn't approve of that winning. So I'm a little upset, especially because Iris is literally like my favorite song of all time. It's never skipped ever. And it just didn't make any sense to me. So all in all, I was just very confused by the AMAs. I didn't understand the artist of the year or like the favorite up-and-coming artist of the year. It's things that I just I don't even know are existing. It's like we have five nominations and I know four out of the five, and the one that I don't know wins. So that's where I come into play of thinking, okay, maybe I've aged out of this. Maybe this just like isn't for me. I'm not the demographic. I'm not the generation. I mean, obviously, like I didn't even know it was happening, but I'm just like, who is voting? Who is voting? I don't know. It's weird. Like, The performance and the favorite up and coming artist of the year was this girl band group called Cat's Eye. Ever heard of it? If you haven't, don't blame you because I haven't. And it just didn't make sense to me. I don't know. I mean, one, are we still doing girl groups? Because I just don't feel like that's very successful these days. Like the nineties, that's when you had like the girl pop bands, the boy bands. I just don't feel like that's very ⁓ doable in this day and age. You have too many cooks in the kitchen. Everybody wants fame. Everybody's probably more fame hungry than they are twenty, thirty years ago. And it just doesn't seem like that just makes sense. So I mean, I wish them all the best. I hope they are very successful. But like, let's see how many other like group bands are out here today and being very successful. But aside from that, I didn't understand the music either. It seemed very much like a Nickelodeon show. Like that was the type of music I was getting. Like that it wasn't real. It was like I'm watching a TV show and like this is the song that's on the episode that they picked. You know, I don't know. It just was very much like Cotton Candy, Rainbows Glitter threw up on a girl band group, and I just didn't understand it. It just, I don't know. I don't know. Again, I could just not be that demographic by any means. But ⁓ I was pleasantly surprised to see Hillary Duff. I thought she looked absolutely incredible. She's that woman has not aged. One single tiny bit. I love her. She's gorgeous. So stunning. ⁓ her dress looked incredible. That was just so that was a breath of fresh air to see. I absolutely loved that. ⁓ but other than that, I got I gotta be honest, I turned it off. I turned it off halfway because it just wasn't hitting for me. I I don't know. Maybe I'm just like a sore loser and which is kind of funny because like I didn't vote. So like I can't be upset. I didn't vote for anything, but After like the 10th award and it's go going to somebody that I just didn't expect, don't even know who they are. I'm like, okay, this is fake. Who is voting for this? Because there's just no way that many people voted for something that like hasn't even entered the chat for me. You know what I mean? I'm like, I haven't even seen a TikTok. I haven't seen like a trending sound. Who? Who are you people? It doesn't make any sense. It's so infuriating. So I just was like, Forget it. I am turning this off because I just don't, I don't even know anymore. Like I just don't care. So yeah, I I turned it off. So hopefully the rest of it was good. ⁓ I will say, I will say a little spice. I thought it was, yeah, Marciano and Jesse. D'all see them together. Mm-mm. I need them to come out and just go ahead and say that they're dating. Okay. I need them to just cleanse the palette. For me, and like let me just start fresh. And it's like, okay, I know you two are together. Like, let's just do that. Okay. Can we just make it easy for me? And I can just rest easy at night. Because let me tell you, I was getting nervous with all the buzz going on, seeing Marciano hanging out with this chick Emma, who's Dakota's ex, like in Vegas. It was like, I don't know, some pool party concert beach that you know how they do those little pool things during the day. And I was like, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. You're supposed to be with Jesse. And anytime I see Jesse with anybody else, I'm like, no, no, no, no, no. You're supposed to be with Marciano. Like, what are we doing here? Like, let's figure this out. Like, wires are getting crossed a little bit. so yeah, I was just like a little bit ⁓ not sure what was going on. But I know how these people like to play. Like they love to stir up a little drama, get the people buzzing and kind of freaking out a little bit. And that's exactly what happened when I started seeing the news like posts popping up all over my Instagram. But Rest assured, Marciano and Jesse were there at the AMAs together. And I mean, I'm gonna guess that she was the one invited. He was her plus one. She could have picked anybody. She picked him. I just feel like it's time. Okay. Like, let's just go ahead, call it what it is. You guys are dating. And that's fine. I think that's what I don't think that people are mad at that. I don't think that's what they want. ⁓ and I think that because when that post came out with Marciano and this other girl. People were like, no, no, no, you're supposed to be with Jesse. Or like, where's Jesse? You know? So I think, I think it's time to kind of just give the people what they want. You know what mean? She did say she got, ⁓ she had a little interview on the carpet and she was just like, no, like we're hanging out, we're like really good friends, like we're dating, but like I'm also like dating. You know, it's like they're not exclusive. So they're just kind of dating, but they're each dating. But I feel like that's just kind of Harshly to kind of ease maybe the people into their relationship that eventually is gonna become public and official and exclusive. I don't know, but I think I think we are ready for it at this point. I mean, Jordan's going out, he's hanging out with this girl named Candace, and they were out this weekend. I mean, we got a post about that, that somebody spot them out. ⁓ so yeah, there's just a lot going on, but So that was exciting. That was exciting to see them at the AMAs. I hope that that continues. And I'm, like I said, I'm ready for them to ⁓ out with it. It's fine. We're we're ready. We'll welcome you with open arms. You know what I ⁓ ⁓ right. Last thing that I'm gonna talk about before I get into the final little segment of this episode is Perfect Okay. Is anybody watching that? I feel like I have not seen enough people. Talk about that show. Okay. And I get it. I feel like maybe there's like fatigue around those kind of shows because every season it's a whole new cast. Whereas like, you know, Summer House, Secret Lives, like you get attached to these people, like they have storylines, like you're following along their journeys. So it's like with these shows, these Netflix shows of Perfect Match, too hot to handle. You know, it's just kind of like a cycle. Like, okay, these are just the people for right now. They're gonna move on and we're gonna forget about them and not even care. But I just feel like I don't see enough people talking about it because I do want to say my favorite couple on there, and this isn't a spoiler because the fin actually, ⁓ my gosh, this just this just clicked for me. I think, I think the finale came out today. I have to double check. I have to make my husband watch that actually. Yeah, I think the finale came out today. So this is not a spoiler of the finale, but up until this point, my favorite have been Jimmy Sotos and Allison. And Jimmy, I didn't know who he was. I think he's just was just like a social media person, TikToker, does like rap, I think, plays basketball, like just kind of like in the social media sphere. And then we have Alison Ogden. She was on Building with the Band. I don't know if any of you guys watched it, but I watched it. I enjoyed it. She wasn't a fan favorite. She was kind of a villain. Like people did not like her, but I don't know what it is. Maybe this says something about me, but a lot of the times I love the villain. You know what I mean? I don't know. I don't know what it is, but maybe it's just because I'm like, ooh, the villains usually always end up being like the pretty girl. And I feel like and I feel like they just get automatically hated on usually. But she was just very much a power horse. Like she knew what she wanted. She was such a boss. Like she was not there to play. I mean, it was literally a competition, like to build a band. Like live out your dreams. So like I totally understood. But you know, she was paired with these girls. I think everybody kind of wanted to be the front man. But Alison is very much solo. Like she does not need any help, need any backup. Like it should just be all her. But like I said, on the season, the one season that they had, she just didn't really get a good edit, a good light. She looked not like the nicest girl. But like I just I don't know. I felt like there was more to her than that. I didn't dislike her. I actually really enjoyed her. So I was excited to see her in a different type of setting. And I feel like we really see her being so soft in here. Anyways, these two are paired, okay? And they end up getting paired, they're matched, whatever. And I just feel like I don't know, like I'm obsessed with them. I can't tell if they're still together or not because the way that these shows work are so weird. Like they don't, aside from Love is Blind, I feel like they don't really do any due diligence on hiding things. Cause I know when they're in that little environment, they're allowed to like make TikToks and make videos and take pictures and all this stuff. And I feel like once the season starts, then they're then they post them and kind of breadcrumb them and sprinkle them all in throughout the season. So it's kind of like, okay, is that new? Is that now? Or maybe they're hanging out later. Like they're not necessarily defining the relationship for us, but whatever it is, obviously they're, I think, in good spirits or they're in good with each other because they're still hanging out, or at least like there's several videos of them posting. Whether they win or not, I don't know. I think that's besides the point. But my whole point to this whole thing is that I just really enjoy those two because I feel like they really showed that they cared for each other. I think, you know, they came into this show kind of, yeah, like this will be a good experience. I'll have fun. I do want to win. It's a competition. But like also too, bonus if I do find somebody, that's great. You know what I mean? And These two very quickly connected and it was like all in on you. And so I think it's really good ⁓ to kind of and kind of just refreshing to see it in this type of environment because with these types of shows, the they put these people, it's like be here for the right reasons, find your match, find your person. But then they really try to put these people in predicaments and situations to get them to mess up that potential future with whoever they wanted to. So, like for example, it's like, They split the matches up and then they bring in the opposite sex of the people that were not entered in the house yet or left the house because they didn't get matched. So it's like you're not seeing your match at the time. So it's kind of like, ooh, do whatever, you know, cats away, mouse will play type of thing. ⁓ and they just kind of think that's like a free pass to do whatever they want. But what I really appreciated about Jimmy and Allison, and just for the record, this is not the Jimmy from Love is Blind, Megan Fox scenario. ⁓ what I really appreciated about them was they were like, What are our boundaries? Okay, no, no, like I don't even want to entertain anybody else. And they both stuck to that, both of them. And they were both were like, Y'all can do whatever you want. No, like we like this is what we said and this is what we're standing by. And they both did. And I don't know, something about that I was just like, Ugh, I love it. And I just wasn't sure how I was gonna feel about Jimmy because he just seemed so goofy. And I was like, Who is this guy? But he's definitely become a favorite of mine. And ⁓ yeah, I'm really excited to see what ends up becoming of those two. I'm excited to see the finale and I'm excited to see if they're still together or not. If they aren't, they're at least still friends. So, anyways, but are you guys watching Perfect Match? If you are, please tell me what you think, what your thoughts, like who's your favorite couple? He looked so sad, but like he held his composure really well. I feel, granted, there's still two more parts, but from the looks of it, I mean. He hasn't been yelling, he hasn't been throwing any jabs. I mean, I think more than anything, the guy just wants answers. Like I think he knows like their relationship is obviously done, like they're going through a divorce, but I think he just wants clarity, answers, and maybe just like for Amanda and West to own up to it and apologize and pretend to mean it. You know what I mean? But I have to give it to him Chic of the week. And I don't think people are checking up on him nearly as much as they should. Like he's in this just as much as Ciara. but yeah. He just, I really felt bad for him. I just, mm, yeah. So Chic goes to Kyle. And Weak of the week. Okay. I don't want to say Amanda or West because that's just really obvious. So I'm just gonna say the Amaz, because why the hell not? You know, it just, I don't know. I didn't vibe with it. I didn't like it, besides a few of the people that I mentioned and maybe a couple others, but whole thing all in all, it was just very confusing for me. And I just wanna know behind the scenes who's voting. I wanna, I wanna be a part of that vote count ⁓ to kind of just make sure that that's actually accurate because it just it really threw me. So I was bored, I was confused, and I turned it off.
