- 0:00Speaker 1: Someone asked the Internet, what's a skill almost everyone thinks
- 0:05Speaker 1: they're good at until they meet someone who's actually.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Great at it? So think about that for a second.
- 0:10Speaker 3: What about like for me, like when you go to
- 0:13Speaker 3: a bar, any bar game like pool or darts or
- 0:16Speaker 3: something that people are really good at? You always think
- 0:18Speaker 3: you're good until somebody comes and just shows you up.
- 0:21Speaker 1: That's close because, I mean, I would agree with you,
- 0:23Speaker 1: but like cornhole, actually, no, it says here, anything that's
- 0:25Speaker 1: played casually, cornhole, bowling, darts, people do pretty well playing
- 0:29Speaker 1: against their buddies at a bar, but then boom, you're
- 0:32Speaker 1: a pro.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Or you see like an actual person who knows how
- 0:34Speaker 3: to bowl.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:36Speaker 3: That's literally my mom.
- 0:37Speaker 4: My mom was in bowling leagues for the majority of
- 0:40Speaker 4: my like childhood. And so I don't even want to
- 0:42Speaker 4: go bowling with her because she is just no mercy.
- 0:45Speaker 4: It's like not even fun to play with her.
- 0:48Speaker 1: So I have, there's something that I'm going to bring
- 0:51Speaker 1: up that I have never tried, but I look at
- 0:53Speaker 1: it and I think it looks so easy and.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Stupid and I could do it, but there's no way
- 0:57Speaker 2: I'm going to do it because I know I'm not
- 0:58Speaker 2: good at it. And that is pickleball. I was going
- 1:00Speaker 2: to guess that.
- 1:01Speaker 1: Like when I was just watching tennis last week, I
- 1:04Speaker 1: was like, Yeah, I could kick ass in tennis.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Nah.
- 1:09Speaker 2: I don't think so. Well, here's some of the things
- 1:11Speaker 2: people said. Doing makeup.
- 1:14Speaker 4: Right? Yeah.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:15Speaker 4: You get a pro to do it, and you're like, wait.
- 1:18Speaker 1: So what is something, a skill almost everyone thinks they're
- 1:22Speaker 1: good at until you meet someone who's actually great at it?
- 1:24Speaker 2: Cooking. I'll give you cooking. It's not on here, but
- 1:26Speaker 2: I would say cooking is on it.
- 1:27Speaker 1: It should be, because that's photography, especially with everyone having
- 1:31Speaker 1: a smartphone now.
- 1:32Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Super Smash Bros.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Big difference between beating all your friends at house parties
- 1:36Speaker 1: and going to weekly tournaments.
- 1:38Speaker 4: I don't know why jump rope and double dutching just
- 1:40Speaker 4: came into my mind. I feel like a lot of
- 1:42Speaker 4: people can jump a rope, but there's those pros out
- 1:45Speaker 4: there that are really good.
- 1:46Speaker 2: The pro jumpers are unbelievable. They're doing flips and stuff.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Any trade? It says any trade. You think about that,
- 1:53Speaker 2: like welding. Well, that's true.
- 1:55Speaker 3: You feel like you can fix stuff because you've watched
- 1:57Speaker 3: it on YouTube. But when you see somebody really do it.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Well, on this list, this is evaluating the authenticity of
- 2:03Speaker 1: information and advice.
- 2:05Speaker 2: I guess that seems easy, but maybe it's not.
- 2:07Speaker 4: What about like arts and crafts, like people who have
- 2:09Speaker 4: a cricket at home versus like the people who actually
- 2:11Speaker 4: like mass produce stuff?
- 2:13Speaker 2: Well, that's true, right? Kyle's like, oh, she's just like,
- 2:16Speaker 2: I do. She's like this.
- 2:17Speaker 5: I said I do. Oh, no, because I honestly don't
- 2:19Speaker 5: think I'm that great at it.
- 2:20Speaker 2: What about all of us? You know, there's some people
- 2:23Speaker 2: out there that are like, I'm the best cricket machine maker.
- 2:26Speaker 3: What about all of us that think because we've watched
- 2:27Speaker 3: a few documentaries, we can solve any murder mystery?
- 2:30Speaker 2: Yeah, that's good.
- 2:32Speaker 1: This one on the list is pretty amazing because we've
- 2:35Speaker 1: tried it before and it doesn't work.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Acting.
- 2:38Speaker 1: It looks all natural and straightforward, but it's really hard
- 2:40Speaker 1: to appear natural. Totally. You know what I do sometimes
- 2:42Speaker 1: when I'm watching TV? I look at the extras because
- 2:45Speaker 1: I want.
- 2:45Speaker 2: To see if they're really good. That's smart. I've never
- 2:47Speaker 2: done that before.
- 2:47Speaker 1: A lot of times the extras, you're like, that guy sucks.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Look at the way he's walking. No one walks like that.
- 2:52Speaker 1: You're trying to avoid that right there, and he's walking
- 2:54Speaker 1: like this.
- 2:55Speaker 2: You suck, man, walking through a scene. Writing is very difficult. Writing.
- 3:00Speaker 2: That's true. Anybody thinks they can write a story, but
- 3:02Speaker 2: they can't. Driving, they say. Teaching. You don't need to
- 3:06Speaker 2: be well versed in the subject matter.
- 3:07Speaker 1: You have to be able to effectively explain the information
- 3:09Speaker 1: based on the specific audience in front of you. Storytelling
- 3:12Speaker 1: is very, very difficult. And this right here, number one
- 3:15Speaker 1: on this list is interesting. And I've tried this before
- 3:19Speaker 1: and they're right.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Fighting. Fighting is very, very difficult.
- 3:24Speaker 3: Well, yeah.
- 3:24Speaker 2: If you get a pro fighter, they're going to knock
- 3:26Speaker 2: you out in a half a second. Remember I went
- 3:27Speaker 2: through my boxing phase? Yes.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I went through a boxing phase. I'll never forget getting
- 3:31Speaker 1: into the ring and the guy beating the hell out
- 3:33Speaker 1: of me. And by the way, I loved it. It
- 3:36Speaker 1: felt great. But you just learn, you know, when you're
- 3:38Speaker 1: going to pretend to fight, pretend you're going to fight.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 3:40Speaker 3: Right.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Pretend you're going to fight. Rich, pretend you're going to fight.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I'm going to take off and run. That's how I'm
- 3:45Speaker 2: going to do it. Just what you guys did. That's
- 3:47Speaker 2: what I used to do. Like this. You put your
- 3:49Speaker 2: hands right here. But when you're going to fight, you
- 3:50Speaker 2: got to put your hands up here. You got to
- 3:52Speaker 2: protect your face.
- 3:52Speaker 3: Yeah, totally.
- 3:53Speaker 2: I was like, let's go, dude. Pow, pow, pow, pow.
- 3:58Speaker 2: You got to go. You want to peek out, peek out. Peek-a-boo, peek-a-boo.
- 4:02Speaker 5: I was wondering, didn't they like, okay, so boxers do that, right?
- 4:05Speaker 5: It's probably because they have the gloves. But don't you
- 4:06Speaker 5: think you could just punch the glove and then you
- 4:08Speaker 5: punch their face?
- 4:09Speaker 2: They do that too.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Does it actually guard you up? Hopefully you're holding it.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Because then you put your gloves on your face, and
- 4:14Speaker 1: then it beats you, and then it protects your face.
- 4:16Speaker 5: Because when I would get beat up by my siblings,
- 4:18Speaker 5: I would try to cover my face, and they would
- 4:19Speaker 5: just take my hand and boom.
- 4:20Speaker 3: Yeah, you'd hit yourself.
- 4:21Speaker 2: You'd hit yourself. That hurts, but when you have gloves on,
- 4:24Speaker 2: it doesn't hurt. It doesn't hurt.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Anyway, what's a skill everyone thinks they're good at until
- 4:29Speaker 1: they meet someone who's actually great at it? If you've
- 4:30Speaker 1: got anything to add to the list, text us. Text
- 4:32Speaker 1: JJR or whatever you want to put on that list
- 4:34Speaker 1: to 96893.
- 4:34Speaker 2: Youngblood thinks there's always tomorrow.
