- 0:01What is thought formation? For many people, the constant
- 0:06stream of haphazard ideas, thoughts, reflections, and
- 0:10perceptions represents thought. Their minds are constantly
- 0:16bombarded by thoughts of all types without a consistent flow
- 0:20or theme. They jump from one subject to
- 0:24another without even a transitional link.
- 0:28They have not discovered the true power of thought when it is
- 0:32organized, focused and directed. There are times and moments when
- 0:38an individual concentrates his attention on a specific subject
- 0:42of interest that one can observe a systematic development of
- 0:47thought focused on that subject and building from one idea to
- 0:53another until a pattern or picture emerges, which we may
- 0:57call a thought formation. The thought forms so created are
- 1:02usually general in nature and go out into the mental atmosphere,
- 1:06vibrate there, and if there is another individual receptive to
- 1:11that vibrational pattern, it gets picked up and potentially
- 1:15further enhanced and rebroadcast.
- 1:19There are thought forms that are tied to a specific individual
- 1:24and are tightly focused around that person's own interests,
- 1:27needs, wants, and plans. In that case, while a thought
- 1:33form is created, it does not achieve full and free
- 1:37independence, but also continues to act within the mental space
- 1:42of the individual who created it.
- 1:45Thus the individual finds that the thought pattern returns and
- 1:50continues to fix the attention of that individual time and
- 1:53again until the underlying issue is fully resolved or
- 1:57implemented, as the case may be. Sometimes the formation so
- 2:03developed take over the mind of the person, and they develop a
- 2:08monomania of sorts that does not let go of them, the mother
- 2:13observes. Quote.
- 2:15Human thought is very creative in the mental world all the
- 2:19time. When you are thinking, you are
- 2:21creating forms and you send them out in the atmosphere and they
- 2:25go and do their work constantly. You are surrounded by a heap of
- 2:30small formations. Naturally, there are people who
- 2:34can't even think clearly, so they form nothing at all except
- 2:38faint eddies. But people who think clearly are
- 2:42surrounded by a heap of little forms which sometimes go out to
- 2:47do some work in others, and one when one thinks of them again,
- 2:51they return. And we have seen instances of
- 2:55people who are troubled by their own formations, which return
- 2:59constantly as though to take possession of them, and which
- 3:03they can't get rid of because they don't know how to undo the
- 3:07formations they have made. There are more cases of this
- 3:11kind than one would think when they have made a particularly
- 3:16strong formation for themselves. You see, relatively, this
- 3:21formation is always tied up with the one who makes it and returns
- 3:25to knock at the brain to receive forces, and ends up by truly
- 3:29acting as a necessity. It is a whole world to know one
- 3:34truly lives in ignorance. One has powers 1 doesn't know
- 3:39about. So naturally 1 uses them very
- 3:42badly. 1 uses them somewhat unconsciously and very badly.
