God, I pray that you'll heal all of our infirmities.

God, I pray against all of the spirit of the child sacrifice in

this land. Father, I pray for women who

will be encouraged God to keep that child.

God, I pray in the name of Jesus that you Lord will RIP down and

tear down all of the evil, the organized evil that is in this

land. God, I pray as we humble

ourselves, Lord, and as we acknowledge you, God, I pray

that you'll heal this land. God, come and heal it.

Teach us your eternal paths. And it is in the mighty name of

Well, let's start in verse one. Be you followers of me even as I

also am of Christ. He's saying follow me as I

follow Christ. He was writing this in a time

where they did not have the printing press, they did not
5:11
have access to Bibles in the way that you and I do.

And we take it for granted. And Paul was saying here that he
5:20
was mirroring and modeling the life of Jesus Christ and for

them to watch him as he watched the Lord Jesus.

So many of us, we need to be better witnesses to our family

and our friends and our coworkers.

And we think that a little off colored joke is nothing and it's

humorous and we want to get a reaction.

But you need to understand what happens.

The authority that you once had has been stripped from you and

that is what we are up against. The little bit that you had has
5:53
been taken from you and that is what we are up against.

And if we truly want to be used mightily by God Almighty, we

must consecrate the temple daily, friends, and make sure

that we're reading it of anything that has come into it,

willingly or unknowingly, friends.

And that is what you need to understand is that there is a

mantle that has been placed upon you and that you should not
6:18
squander your inheritance, and that you do not need to sear
6:22
your conscience, friends, and grieve the spirit, friends.

If you want to be used mightily by God, and if you want for

people to see Christ in you, then you must get into the word

of God, friends, and you must be found warring on your knees,

friends. And we are up against such

opposite. But it is nothing in light of
6:43
God Almighty and His omnipotence and His Shekinah glory.

And let that Shekinah glory come all around you, and let it go

with you everywhere that you go. And if He will not go with you,

then we will not go. Lord Almighty, I pray to now I

praise you brothers, that you Remember Me in all things and

keep the ordinances as I delivered them to you.

So here he is saying that as he taught them, they need to

continue on in. They do not need to create all

of their own little bylaws and ordinances.

It is the knowledge of the Word of God, friends, that we are in

desperate need of because it is ignorance that has led many

people off on their own tangents to create all of their own

doctrine. This doctrine of demons,

friends, and that is what you need to understand that even the

demons know that God is real and they shudder.

Three. But I would have you know that

the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is the

man, and the head of Christ is God.

This is a very simple principle and this is not misogynistic and

sexist. This is the order that God had

created us in. And this is whenever we are

functioning at our fullest is whenever God is the very top

tier and that the husband is beneath that and he is watching

God and he is following God. And that the wife will watch the

husband and follow the husband. And then the children will watch

the wife and as she watches the husband.

And it is in degrees, friends, that to the degree that the man

will submit himself to the authority of God is the same

degree that the wife will submit herself to her husband.

And to the same degree the children will be obedient unto

the mother, and to the same degree that she will follow

after the husband. And it is a beautiful stair step

and we would do well to step into this order and not call it

into question and be in chaos. Friends, there are so many

circles that are in absolute disorder because of what God

said to the woman back in Genesis when He said you will

desire your husband, but he will have ruled over you.

And ever since then it is innate in the woman that she.

If the man will not rise up and be the spiritual leader, then

she will. And that is what you need to

understand is that God has placed the innateness in her

a drunkard and want to abuse all of the things of this life, and

Every man praying or prophesying having his head covered

dishonors his head. 5 But every woman that prays or prophecies

with her head uncovered dishonors her head.

were shaved. So that is what he's trying to

tell us, that the woman's hair is her covering and she should

put some kind of prayer shawl on when she's praying.

And that is what honors God and honors her.

And the man should not pray with a hat on his head.

We need to have a reverence for God and take the hat off in the

House of God and pray with the hat off, friends, just as if you

would take your hat off whenever you are pledging allegiance or

whenever you're doing anything that has any magnitude and any

kind of gravity to it. You don't need to be irreverent.

Friends, take the hat off and do not have the long hair.

And there are so many men who are walking in feminism and it

is not pleasing to the Lord God Almighty.

Men are called to be men. We need to rise up and we need

to have the masculinity. And the testosterone is what

protects neighborhoods. It's what protects families,

friends. And it is not toxic.

It is ordained by God and it is put there on purpose.

And then you have the smoothness and you have the beauty and you

have the compassion of a woman. And that is what is pleasing to

world. 6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn.

But if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her

prostitutes. And here he is saying that if a

woman will not get under the submission of her husband, then

immoral. 7 For a man indeed ought not cover his head, for as

much as he is the image and the glory of God, but the woman is

the glory of the man. So here you can see as the light

shines and, and as the SON shines upon the man and as the

man processes things with God and then the woman comes to

process things with her husband, you can see how the glory of God

gets placed onto the man. And you can see how the woman

comes and she sits underneath the leadership of her husband.

And that is what is proper and pleasing to God Almighty.

And it is not very popular in our day and our age, friends,

but we are just simply reading the word of God.

We are not trying to read into it, friends.

This is literal and we need to take it as so read the Bible at

face value and God means what he says and he says what he means.

And if we'll get rid of all of our predispositions and all of

our indoctrination and all of the propaganda, and if we'll

fall in line and give God a chance, you will understand how

it all works and how perfect it is and how it actually leads to

so much pressure being let off of the woman.

And she doesn't need to try to juggle and spin all the plates

and keep it all going. She can relinquish that to her

husband as he is the one who is responsible to God.

God will punish him whenever he swings his mighty fist and she

And that is a perfect picture of submission and what it looks

like. And we have a grave

responsibility, men, to actually listen to God and not to try to

manipulate God's word for our own selfish gain.

And that will lead to so much conflict and that will lead to

so much of your conviction, and it will lead you to be in a

place of correction and discipline that you do not want

to be in. And we can avoid that by not

trying to speak out of turn, not trying to speak for God.

There is a great gravity to the responsibility of being the

husband and to being the spiritual leader, and it is not

to be taken lightly. 8 For the man is not of the woman, but the

woman of the man. She was taken out of his side.

He was created out of the dust and God breathed into his mouth.

And then you can see here that the woman after Adam was put to

sleep, the woman was taken out of his side bone of his bone and

flesh of his flesh and that is what is referenced here.

Now neither was the man created for the woman, but the woman for

the man. She is our helper friends and we

are Co equal inheritors of eternal life and we are not

better than the woman. Don't get it twisted friends,

this is not some kind of sexist dig on women.

If women will understand the proper order it will lead to so

much peace and unity within the home. 10 for this calls out the

woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

Think about it, the angels are watching whether we like it or

not, and they are reporting whether we like it or not.

And it pleases God Almighty when the angels bring a good report

If we get prideful and if we get puffed up, we will be brought

yourselves, is it comely that a woman pray unto God uncovered

And he has already said that. And now he's asking, do you

think that this is so? He said it, we believe it, and

that settles at 14. Does not even nature itself

teach you that if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto

Whenever she prays unto God, she has her hair.

And for all of human history, through all of the earliest

would have long hair and that the men would have shorter hair.

together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among

you, and I partly believe it. So the Corinthians were obsessed

over the classes, and those that had much got to partake in much

of the food and drink, and those that were poor and had little

would come and be hungry. 19 For there must also be heresies

among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest

among you. So there were these leaders that

were put in positions that were propagating that those that had

much should be able to eat as much as they want and to get

drunk. And he's saying that is

heretical teaching. 20 When you come together, therefore, into

one place, this is not to eat the Lord's Supper.

He's saying you're doing it all with the wrong motives. 21 For

an eating everyone takes before other his own supper, and one is

hungry and another is drunk. Think about it, friends.

Think about how idiotic this would seem to go into a place

where God is to be honored and revered and to see those drunk

and those that are gluttonously eating and then the disparity of

those that are sitting and that are hungry and that are thirsty.

Think about it. 21 21 says for an eating everyone takes before

other his own supper, and one is hungry and another is drunken.

22 What have you not houses to eat and drink in, or despise you

the Church of God, and shame them that have not?

What shall I say to you? Shall I praise you in this?

I praise you not. He's saying it is to your shame

For I have received the Lord, that which I also delivered unto

betrayed, took bread. 24 And when he had given thanks, he

broke it and said, Take, eat. This is my body which is broken

for you, this due in remembrance of me. 25 After the same manner

also he took the cup, and when he had supped, saying, This cup

is the New Testament of my blood, this do you as often as

you drink it in remembrance of me.

So Paul is going to show them how they are to institute the

Lord's Supper, and it is not to be some gluttonous drunken feast

that was very popular within the Pagan Gentile cultures of this

day. And they were revilers, and they

were given over to these feasts. And they would think that it was

a time of carousing and it was a time of them just doing whatever

they wanted to do. And he's saying that we should

have reverence and order whenever we come to eat of the

Lord's body and to drink of the Lord's blood, and we should do

it in remembrance, which is the key verse here.

We do it in remembrance of what he did for US. 26 For as often

as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you do show the Lord's

death until he comes. This is the new covenant.

This is what he instituted the night of his arrest, before he

was brutally murdered, friends. And we do it in remembrance of

His shed blood, the atonement for our sins, and we will do it

all the way until He comes again. 27 Wherefore whosoever

shall eat this bread and drink this cup of the Lord unworthily

shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

What a verse of gravity, friends.

What a verse of heaviness, friends, that when we step up to

take communion, we need to make sure that we are right with God

and we understand what we are doing and we're not doing it

half heartedly. We're not just doing it because

everyone else is doing it. And He's going to tell you why

you're guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 Let a man

examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread and drink of

that cup. That's what we do first.

We sit and we examine ourselves and make sure that we have

postured ourselves in a place where we understand what it is

that we're doing. 29 for. He that eats and drinks

unworthily eats and drinks damnation to himself, not

discerning the Lord's body. So he's going to get into a

section and we're not talking about salvific issues, salvation

issues, friends. We are talking about sickness,

and we are talking about correction, and we are talking

about discipline from God. 34 this cause many are weak and

sick among you, and many sleep. Wake up, O sleeper.

If you want your body to be made whole and healed, then we need

to consecrate the temple and understand that the things that

we're letting into the temple are killing US314 If we would

judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

Think about it friends, if we would just go ahead and nip it

in the bud in the infancy when it is a just a perceived, A

conceived thought in our minds, we need to make sure we get rid

of it then before it ever becomes an action.

Friends, if we will do that, then there will be no need for

the discipline of God in our lives. 32 But when we are

judged, we are chastened to the Lord that we should not be

condemned with the world. So he's saying he disciplines

you because he loves you and he does not want you to fall away.

33 Wherefore, my brothers, when you come together to eat, tarry

one for another, he's saying take care of each other.

Don't be so selfish that you're only thinking about your own

food and drink and getting drunk and eating all of the food.

We'll end on 34. And if any man hunger, let him

eat at home that you come not together unto condemnation.

And the rest I will set in order when I come.

When we step out of the bounds in the lines of what is perfect

and pleasing unto God, there is this accuser of the brethren

who's going around stirring the pot, and he's snatching the seed

from those that it would fall upon like a bird.

are these are believers and Paul wants them to know that the way

that they carry themselves has supreme importance.

It is not just a question of do we get to abuse our liberty and

grace? There are many who are watching

us and we do not want them to fall away, and we also do not

want the Lord to have to discipline us and chasten us
