Latest / The Scene Projects / Amber Nadine: Building Community and Originality in the Music Scene
Transcript
- 0:02Well, welcome in to a very exciting episode of The Scene.
- 0:04I'm your host, Bubba Starts, and with me today is my good friend, Amber Nadine.
- 0:08Amber, welcome to the show.
- 0:10Thank you so much for having me.
- 0:11This is so exciting.
- 0:13Well, you are a singer songwriter among other things, and we got to know each other, through
- 0:18Rick Barker, who obviously, big in the independent music world these days.
- 0:23But, before we talk about all of that, I want you to go ahead and and just introduce yourself
- 0:28and tell us a little bit about, who you are.
- 0:31Okay.
- 0:32Yeah.
- 0:32So, I'm a singer songwriter.
- 0:35I've been doing, I've been performing for about nine years now, and I like to write a lot of
- 0:45original music along the lines of, like, Taylor Swift's early years.
- 0:51But I don't know.
- 0:53I'm just I'm having fun.
- 0:55I'm living my life, and I'm I'm very blessed to be where I'm at right now, so I'm excited.
- 1:01And I I love it because I have watched your journey, albeit from, you know, South Dakota
- 1:07where I live, and you're in, Pennsylvania.
- 1:10Correct?
- 1:10That is correct.
- 1:11Yes.
- 1:12I'm from Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.
- 1:14Fantastic.
- 1:15Well and I've watched you go from kind of a, you know, shy just recording in her bedroom
- 1:21kinda young girl to now, you know, going and accepting awards at these, you know, these
- 1:27events and and being nominated for all kinds of amazing things.
- 1:31So to watch your progression, kinda through the whole thing, it's just been incredible from
- 1:36afar.
- 1:36I'm sure it feels like a dream for you at some points.
- 1:41Thank you.
- 1:41Yes.
- 1:42It does.
- 1:43I'm constantly shocked.
- 1:46I've been nominated for several awards in Nashville and Atlanta, and here in
- 1:52Pennsylvania, I'm currently nominated for the third time, best female solo artist.
- 1:58We find out on March 5 whether or not I win, so I'm excited to see what happens there.
- 2:05But yeah.
- 2:06Yeah.
- 2:06Just well, and, like, we don't do it for the awards, but it's nice to have that recognition.
- 2:13It's nice to feel like your art has value, to other people as well.
- 2:17And beyond just your listeners, and I know a lot for you, probably the same as me, most of
- 2:23your listeners and your fan base are people that you would consider family.
- 2:27Right?
- 2:27Like, these people and and as they come in, right, they're always considered family.
- 2:32I know your views are much the same as mine, but, you know, when you start out as a singer
- 2:37songwriter, especially at a young age, your biggest fans are your, you know, your mom and
- 2:41dad and grandma, and and and it grows from there.
- 2:45And I'm sure just everyone has to be so proud of where these last few years have gone and
- 2:51especially throwing COVID right into the middle of all of that where, you know, no gigs and no,
- 2:57you know, anything to go out and do.
- 3:00I know you play quite a bit.
- 3:02You know, you do the wineries and things like that during the summer.
- 3:05Do winter slow down a little bit for you as well just as just not many places to play?
- 3:11Well, it's not so much that.
- 3:13It's more of the fact of, like, the snow can cancel shows pretty quickly.
- 3:20It's flu season.
- 3:22It's cold season.
- 3:23It's in Amber's world, it's sinus infection season, which if you can't tell, I'm getting
- 3:28over one right now.
- 3:29So, like, it's very hard to keep gigs when you're constantly getting sick or there's
- 3:34constantly snow that is keeping people from wanting to go outside because most of the time,
- 3:38you kinda just wanna, like, sit inside and be cozy and cuddle up with your cats.
- 3:43At least I know I do some nights.
- 3:47But yeah, no.
- 3:48Going back to something really quick that you said about growing over the years and getting
- 3:57to know more people, that's one thing that I think a lot of people who aren't artists don't
- 4:05fully understand is how almost lonely it can be sometimes.
- 4:13I know for me, there wasn't really a community that I knew of here in Pennsylvania when I
- 4:22first started out, and I felt like I was kind of like the black sheep in a sea of, like,
- 4:28white sheep, and I was, like, having a hard time sticking to what I wanted to do.
- 4:35And recently, my boyfriend and I, we created a songwriters round where we bring local artists
- 4:44in to showcase their original music, kinda like what they do down in Nashville.
- 4:49And since we have done that, my friend list has just grown so much of people that actually
- 4:58understand what it's like to be in the music community, and it's really helped me open up
- 5:03and come out of my shell and become more of who I am.
- 5:08And it's really nice to be able to know that I have that sense of security and friendship with
- 5:14people that completely understand what I'm going through, and, I understand what they're
- 5:19going through as well.
- 5:20So that's really a cool thing that I've loved to experience.
- 5:26Well and you're kind of a beacon for other, you know, people and young people, I'm sure, that
- 5:32that have felt like you.
- 5:34Right?
- 5:35I I I love you so much for that.
- 5:37That is so incredible that, you know and that's something that we do hear a lot.
- 5:41I'm a member of the Midwest Country Music Organization.
- 5:44I'm sure you see me post plenty about that.
- 5:46You should join too.
- 5:47I know you're not in the Midwest, but we'd love to have you and then give you an excuse to come
- 5:50out this way.
- 5:52But supporting original music is something that has always been important to me.
- 5:58I always ran open mics even when, you know, I was 23.
- 6:02You know, I I was running open mics for people that were much older than me, so they could
- 6:06come and play and to do that, but it was something that I've always been passionate
- 6:10about and building communities.
- 6:12And that's what you're doing, is you're building a community where there was none
- 6:15because you experienced that.
- 6:17You experienced having to walk it alone and not having a writer's round or even just someone to
- 6:22talk to about it.
- 6:23Right?
- 6:23Which is probably how we ended up meeting because, you know, you fall into a world like
- 6:28Rick Barker's, and you're like, oh, there's actually, like, hundreds of thousands of us,
- 6:33right, that are out here struggling with the same thing.
- 6:36And, it's a beautiful community that that obviously he has built.
- 6:40But to branch out on your own takes a lot of courage to say, hey.
- 6:45I'm gonna do this, and I don't know if anybody else is really out there.
- 6:49And then as soon as you do, you're like, oh, there's a lot of I'm not the only black sheep.
- 6:53Right?
- 6:53There's plenty of us out here.
- 6:55Yeah.
- 6:56And it was actually really cool because the first time that we recognized that there was
- 7:00more people like me was, at the Central Pennsylvania Music Awards that they hold
- 7:07annually that I'm currently nominated for best female solo artist at.
- 7:11So when we went there, and we saw all of these people, we were like, well, why don't we know
- 7:15all of these people?
- 7:16And it was because all of these artists are constantly performing their own gigs Fridays,
- 7:23Saturdays, and Sundays, and, we don't get a chance to go and see each other's shows.
- 7:30So that's why we wanted to create an opportunity for everybody to be able to hear
- 7:34each other and see each other on a weeknight when we know we we're not working.
- 7:41So
- 7:42Yeah.
- 7:42And it's a it's a common problem.
- 7:44Right?
- 7:44Everywhere around.
- 7:46And I think a lot of us and a lot of people that I talk to I'm from a little bit older
- 7:52generation.
- 7:52I'll be I'll be 39 this year.
- 7:54Forty's coming quick.
- 7:56But we I had a lot of people that were in my generation that thought they had to go to Los
- 8:01Angeles still.
- 8:01They thought they had to go to Nashville and to do those.
- 8:03And now that we've all kind of lived that life, saw it wasn't all that it was cut up to be.
- 8:08Yes.
- 8:09That experience can be valuable, but there's no reason that you can't go to your hometowns and
- 8:14your small towns and to do the same things that they're doing at the Bluebird.
- 8:18Right?
- 8:19There's no reason that we shouldn't be showcasing our local talent in that same way.
- 8:23And I'm sure that in Pennsylvania as, you know, with with South Dakota, most of the gigs that
- 8:28you play are are more of the, you know, three, four hour bar gigs, you know, we call them,
- 8:33where you're playing a lot of cover songs.
- 8:36But what we have built because of our, commitment, that's really what it comes down
- 8:42to.
- 8:43We were committed to just playing our original music, especially with my band starts and ends
- 8:46where I've always, like, you're always gonna get my nine originals that are in the set list
- 8:51regardless.
- 8:52I'll be cutting covers out before I'm cutting my music out of the show.
- 8:55That's why I'm here.
- 8:57Like, I'm not here to play other people's music.
- 8:59I'm playing that for you.
- 9:01You know?
- 9:01I'm bringing that to kind of bring you into my world a little bit and to show you, hey, I come
- 9:06from the same place that you do.
- 9:08This is what vibe with me growing up, but now I'm able to share that and to share my music,
- 9:14which is influenced by all of those songs.
- 9:16Right?
- 9:17So how great to be able to to do both.
- 9:21Right?
- 9:21To have the weekend gigs where you can make a little bit of money, but to be able to go out
- 9:25and showcase original music is just that's what it's all about.
- 9:29Yeah.
- 9:29That's and that's so important too, like, what you were saying about not cutting out your
- 9:34originals.
- 9:34Like, you need to introduce that to the people that are hearing your cover stuff too.
- 9:40And what is one of the things that Rick always taught us was become big in your hometown
- 9:47first, and then you can start branching out.
- 9:50So that's exactly what I've been working on lately.
- 9:53And it's Yeah.
- 9:54Well, and your branching
- 9:56branches your branches stretch quite far.
- 9:59Right?
- 9:59You're you're being nominated for awards in Atlanta, and you've used I mean, just from
- 10:04following you, I know that you're kind of in small town Pennsylvania.
- 10:08You're not around a major metro area.
- 10:10Right?
- 10:10You're not in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia.
- 10:13So Yeah.
- 10:15Your situation is much more common to what I'm used to.
- 10:18I mean, I'm I'm ninety minutes away from, town with more than 15,000 people.
- 10:24Right?
- 10:25Like, to get to any kind of metro area at all is a huge expenditure of time and money to go
- 10:32play those gigs.
- 10:34So I've had to cultivate a fan base from these small towns and from these small, you know,
- 10:39bars, and I'm so, so appreciative of all of them that are willing to pay someone, you know,
- 10:45a few hundred dollars, which is not a small price for a little bar to host live music and
- 10:52to give us a place to perform.
- 10:54I I'm always so grateful.
- 10:56Yeah.
- 10:56No.
- 10:56Me too.
- 10:57And it's it's wonderful.
- 10:59Small town people are always the best too because they're the ones who are, like, the
- 11:04most supportive.
- 11:06Because, there's this one bar that I play at.
- 11:09It's the tourist inn.
- 11:10I absolutely love everybody there.
- 11:12I go there.
- 11:12It's a little biker bar, and you wouldn't think that someone like me would belong there, but I
- 11:18go
- 11:18in thing I just thought of.
- 11:20I know.
- 11:20I go in there, and I start playing, like, the Taylor Swift and the Carrie Underwood, and shut
- 11:25up and dance.
- 11:26Oh my gosh.
- 11:26They're in there screaming it back at me, and they're always just so kind and appreciative
- 11:34and welcoming.
- 11:36So
- 11:36Well, and for the same reason.
- 11:38Right?
- 11:38It's a haul for them to get in to see a big show.
- 11:41And with ticket prices these days, who can even afford to go to a show?
- 11:46You know?
- 11:47For a couple to go, and and I had bought jelly roll tickets at one time, ended up having to
- 11:52sell them, but it was over $500 just for the tickets.
- 11:55The show was in Saint Louis.
- 11:57Like, it was an eighteen hour trip for us to get there.
- 12:00Right?
- 12:00Like, there was this well, I was gonna spend, you know, $2,000 or more to go see a show just
- 12:06because they don't get much closer.
- 12:08Right?
- 12:08He comes for rally, but, you know, seeing, you know, someone play and especially at the
- 12:13Buffalo Chip where it's 60,000 people, we know, all kind of packed into an amphitheater
- 12:18outdoor.
- 12:20It's not the same as seeing someone in a venue or or and I was really I was going to see
- 12:24Alexandra Kay.
- 12:25I don't know if you're a big AK fan, but,
- 12:27I don't I I don't even know who that is.
- 12:29I've really fallen behind on, like, today's artist.
- 12:32That happens when you have a have a, career in music.
- 12:36Right?
- 12:37Exactly why you have to do writers rounds.
- 12:39So Alexandra Kay, she kinda became big.
- 12:42She did coffee and country.
- 12:44During COVID, they she was living in Nashville.
- 12:46I don't know if you're familiar.
- 12:47Cooper Allen, another couple of people that have kind of popped out of that group, but they
- 12:51were all playing on Broadway when COVID hit.
- 12:54So they get shut down.
- 12:56They're not working, and they all kind of went in and were in a house together.
- 12:59Tiger, Lily, Gold, same girls.
- 13:01They're all part of the same crew.
- 13:03And they all kind of got big around the same time by doing a lot of TikTok.
- 13:08Right?
- 13:08They just committed to, hey.
- 13:10That that gig is gone.
- 13:12Right?
- 13:12And and we don't know when it's coming back.
- 13:15So she started just committing to that.
- 13:17We saw her in Sioux Falls play for 300 people.
- 13:19My wife walked down the aisle to her song, and that's how we kind of became fans.
- 13:24And then, the following year, we went and saw her play in Sioux Falls, you know, 300 people.
- 13:29I think the next weekend or the, like, later on, two days later, she was opening for jelly
- 13:34roll at the North Dakota State Fair.
- 13:36And then a year later, she's on tour doing arenas with him.
- 13:39Right?
- 13:39So, I mean, we hugged her.
- 13:41My my my my background is our meet and greet with her, and that really changed that changed
- 13:46my mentality towards it, where it's like, oh, that human connection, that's what people want.
- 13:51They wanna be able to to to feel like they know you, and we do in some ways.
- 13:55Right?
- 13:55We got to spend five minutes with her and tell her a little bit of our story.
- 13:59And, you know, I'm sure it's filed away in her memory bank somewhere along with the hundreds
- 14:05of thousands of other people now.
- 14:07But for us, that was the highlight of our summer.
- 14:11Right?
- 14:11And then we get to carry that pride when we see her up on the arena stages and be like, we're
- 14:17that's our girl.
- 14:18You know?
- 14:18And to remember then that, like, we're living that same experience.
- 14:23Right?
- 14:23You know?
- 14:24People are gonna look at Amber Nadine on stage at these award shows and at the Grammys one day
- 14:29and go, that's our girl.
- 14:31You know?
- 14:31And it's well, you just gotta keep working, sweetheart.
- 14:34You're you're still very young, and you have, you've built up what you needed to.
- 14:39For us small town kids, to get big in your hometown, sometimes you have to build the
- 14:46scene.
- 14:46Right?
- 14:47It's how the the scene projects came about because that's all we were talking about.
- 14:51Even in a city like Sioux Falls is a couple hundred thousand people, a bunch of great
- 14:55players, but no scene.
- 14:57Then I heard the same thing from everyone.
- 14:58I was like, yeah.
- 14:59Sioux Falls is great, but there's no scene.
- 15:01There's no scene.
- 15:02There's no scene.
- 15:02I was like, I think that's the name of our show.
- 15:04Right?
- 15:05I think that's the name of the show.
- 15:07And and if there isn't one, then build it, and don't be shy about it.
- 15:12You're you were born to be a star, and sometimes that's on stage, and sometimes that's
- 15:16behind the scenes doing the work to build a place to even have a stage.
- 15:21And that's why it takes some of us a little bit longer to get to that point.
- 15:25Right?
- 15:26Yep.
- 15:26That's awesome.
- 15:27I love that.
- 15:28Mhmm.
- 15:29Well and it's the same thing that you're doing.
- 15:32Right?
- 15:32There's no reason that you shouldn't have a podcast.
- 15:34Right?
- 15:35And connecting all of these people that are in the songwriters round with you, and this is how
- 15:39we build it up.
- 15:40And this is really what's gonna change music over the course of the next ten years is this
- 15:46right here.
- 15:47Podcasting, you know, obviously, it's been around for a long time, but I don't think
- 15:51people really realize the power of it until, you know, the last year's election cycle.
- 15:56And then it really opened a lot of people's eyes that, oh, this is this is really
- 16:00something.
- 16:01And now, you know, people like me have realized, like, this is how God is speaking.
- 16:05Like, this is how this is much bigger than just, you know, you having a conversation with
- 16:11your friend.
- 16:12It's a lot bigger than that.
- 16:14And the more we keep talking and having interesting conversations, the more it
- 16:18continues to grow.
- 16:19Yeah.
- 16:19It's it's definitely becoming the new interview news system for sure.
- 16:25Well, it's the and it's the truth.
- 16:27Right?
- 16:27I mean, people wanna know your story and and to dig in a little bit to that, and you don't get
- 16:32that in even on our local news station.
- 16:34Right?
- 16:34It's a two minute bit.
- 16:36I get to play a song and talk for two minutes.
- 16:37Alright, Bubba.
- 16:38See you later.
- 16:39And it's like, you know, that really wasn't That was nice.
- 16:42Like, it looks really good in your studio, and I got to play my song, but there was no depth.
- 16:47Right?
- 16:47And I think that's what people want now and and why songwriters like yourself who provide that
- 16:53depth, who are writing songs that have depth, right, I I don't think that, or I do think
- 17:00rather that that's that's the future, that the reason that you're going to succeed is because
- 17:04that's the way that music and just culture in general is going.
- 17:08We've heard all the clubbangers we can handle.
- 17:10Right?
- 17:10Like, we're good.
- 17:12We know that story.
- 17:13What else is out there?
- 17:15Totally.
- 17:15Absolutely.
- 17:17So, Amber, what what's next for you?
- 17:19What, what are you working on?
- 17:23You know, I don't wanna, like, say something and then not do it.
- 17:28But
- 17:29Well, say it, and then you have to do it.
- 17:31That's what I do.
- 17:31You're right.
- 17:32You're right.
- 17:34I think for this year, I'm gonna kind of relax a little bit because creating the album that I
- 17:41did that I released in October, Man Made, destroyed me mentally, physically, emotionally.
- 17:48It was just I put my whole heart, soul, blood, sweat, and tears into that album, and at the
- 17:55end of it, I was just not in a good place at all.
- 18:00So this year, I'm working hard to organize my life.
- 18:07Everything is all about organization for planning, financial, health.
- 18:13All of it is just about organizing.
- 18:16And along the way, I think what I'm gonna do is keep music popping out here and there, maybe
- 18:24release a song or two.
- 18:26And maybe if I get more motivation halfway through the year, I'll do some sort of small
- 18:34project.
- 18:35But for now, I'm just gonna keep playing shows.
- 18:40My band and I are working on getting more shows together.
- 18:45We that's that's a brand new thing.
- 18:47I I've only played with my band, like, three times.
- 18:50We just formed last year, and we opened up for a touring act in Reading in May of last year.
- 19:02That was our first show ever, which was crazy.
- 19:06And then we played at Phantom Power, which is a local music venue to do the album release
- 19:15party, and that was a ton of fun.
- 19:18And then we had, like, one other show at a park in the summer.
- 19:22And this year, my goal is to play with the band more, get us more comfortable playing together
- 19:31and things like that.
- 19:32And then just It's a
- 19:34lot of fun playing with the band, ain't it?
- 19:37Oh my gosh.
- 19:37Those guys, let me tell you, they they're so goofy and so talented.
- 19:46It's unbelievable to have all of that wrapped up into one, like, setting because when you
- 19:54throw my my boyfriend, he's kinda like my manager, so to speak, so he helps me with,
- 19:59like, a lot of that stuff.
- 20:00So he'll be at all of the band practices, and he's, like, goofing off with the band.
- 20:05I'm like, guys, can we can we focus?
- 20:08Can can we get some stuff done?
- 20:10And as soon as I say that, they go into like action mode, and then we it's like bam, bam,
- 20:15bam, bam, bam, and then they're right back to goof mode.
- 20:18It's it's the most hilarious thing I've ever seen in my entire life.
- 20:23They they keep me going and keep me feeling like, I guess, it's my my happiness.
- 20:31It keeps my happiness up.
- 20:33Well, and I think, you know, especially going through what you did with the album, and maybe
- 20:38we'll have you back on Get Better Together, our other show, to to talk more about all the
- 20:42struggles and the challenges mentally and emotionally that you go through.
- 20:45But to to be able to release that and then to not be to have so much pressure on you for the
- 20:54live performances.
- 20:55Right?
- 20:55And and knowing you a little bit.
- 20:57I know that you put a lot of pressure on yourself.
- 20:59Probably too much so.
- 21:00I I'm more like your bandmates where I'm like, yeah.
- 21:02Everything's gonna be fine.
- 21:03Don't don't freak out.
- 21:04Right?
- 21:05You know?
- 21:05It's all good.
- 21:06But it it's it's nice to have other people that you can rely on for even just a little bit of
- 21:13levity.
- 21:14Right?
- 21:14Even for just a just a laugh and a giggle when you are taking things maybe a little too
- 21:19seriously.
- 21:20And not that our careers aren't serious, but it's it's not to wrap yourself up in knots,
- 21:26which I've done myself.
- 21:27Right?
- 21:28I am not, by any means judging you, but and I I think it's just the nature of the business.
- 21:34Right?
- 21:35It's it's so easy to get wrapped up in, like, this is my moment.
- 21:40Right?
- 21:40This this one means more than any other moment before and not realizing that actually that
- 21:46moment where you guys were all just really having a good time at practice, that was the
- 21:50moment.
- 21:50Right?
- 21:50Yeah.
- 21:51Those are the moments that matter the most.
- 21:53And, yeah, having a band, and not being just a solo performer, I think, facilitates that in
- 22:01some ways and and provides that kind of a culture for a little bit looser environment.
- 22:07Yeah.
- 22:08Yeah.
- 22:09So it it's very nice to to have that.
- 22:12I I've never really known that.
- 22:14Like I said, before, like, I'd say about two years ago, I was alone in this business.
- 22:22Like, I had my family as my support system.
- 22:25Excuse me.
- 22:26But I didn't have somebody who actually knew the ups and the downs, like, right there with
- 22:34me going through it, understanding it.
- 22:37So, it's nice to have the band and, you know, my other friends that are other solo musicians
- 22:47that I can talk to.
- 22:48Well, and now that community that you're building around the writers rounds and, know,
- 22:52that that growing friends list.
- 22:54Right?
- 22:55And realizing that, you know, where you were as you know, you were out there kind of on your
- 23:01own.
- 23:01Well, now you're not on your own, but you're also kind of being looked to as a leader,
- 23:06right, which I'm sure for a young person probably feels a little weird, but you've been
- 23:10in this game for a long time, Amber.
- 23:12Right?
- 23:12Like, you have a lot of experience in this field and riding that roller coaster that,
- 23:17like, it it's it's been given to you because you're going to be the one that helps other
- 23:22people ride that roller coaster.
- 23:25Right?
- 23:25To to hold their hand and go, it's all gonna be okay.
- 23:28Right?
- 23:28It's it's gonna I I went through all of this stuff too.
- 23:31And I think that when I was younger, I had a hard time accepting that because I played like,
- 23:37everyone in my band was always older than me.
- 23:38And not just, like, a little bit older than me, they were all twice my age.
- 23:42And so I was always looking to them for for guidance, but the world that most of them came
- 23:48from was much different than the world even in the early aughts.
- 23:52And now music is completely different than when I started playing in bars back in, like,
- 23:5602/2003.
- 23:58Right?
- 23:58Like, it's Yeah.
- 23:58The game's completely different now.
- 24:01The pay is still the same, which is a little unfortunate, but
- 24:06Well, we're we're working on that.
- 24:08Like, there's
- 24:08a I I hope an improving economy this year helps to do that as well and that we we kinda come
- 24:15out of this.
- 24:15And I think people appreciate music so much more now, and they appreciate original music
- 24:21and supporting artists.
- 24:22And like I said, it's the that's our girl kinda thing.
- 24:26Right?
- 24:27And you're gonna do great.
- 24:29You're gonna be fantastic.
- 24:31You've been in this for a long time.
- 24:32I know it feels like it's been a really long road, but you're right there.
- 24:36Keep on going.
- 24:38Keep writing.
- 24:39And whether you get it all recorded this year, who cares?
- 24:41We're in this for the long haul anyway.
- 24:43Right?
- 24:43Absolutely.
- 24:45Well, Amber, I don't wanna keep you for too much longer today.
- 24:49I got started late with you as it is anyway.
- 24:51So why don't you go ahead and plug, plug all your stuff and tell people where they can find
- 24:55you?
- 24:56Yeah.
- 24:58So if you go to AmberNadine.com, you can find all of my social media.
- 25:04Pretty much get connected with me there.
- 25:08Feel free to direct message me or send me an email just saying hey and letting me know how

- 25:24Pizzeria in Fairfield, PA on, February 22 from 9PM to midnight.
- 25:32That's kind of a late one.
- 25:33If that one's too late for you, come on out and see me and the band headlining a show on March
- 25:381 at, Switchboard Studios in Columbia.
- 25:43The doors open at six, and you can buy your tickets at the door.
- 25:47That is fantastic.
- 25:48Well, Amber, thank you so much for being part of the scene.
- 25:51Of course.
- 25:52Thank you so much for having me.
- 25:53It's such a joy to finally get to talk to you.
- 25:56Elle, the honor was all mine.
