- 0:10music. Let's say, listen.
- 0:12We got a good one today. We got one of those life lessons.
- 0:16It's going to be a good one. A little, you know, 10, 15 minutes.
- 0:20Give me a little bit of 10, 15 minutes of your time, and we're definitely going to make it happen.
- 0:24Because I am your legendary host of the Deconstructing Topic Podcast.
- 0:30I tell you Time is passing There's so
- 0:33much going on In this world And in life And
- 0:37I'm focused and focused And once again I like You know I always tell my audience
- 0:41out there I am And will bring A lot of the content Because I want to educate
- 0:46My people out there That are listening to That are listening And from day one
- 0:51Day two Whatever it is Wherever you catch me On the YouTube Spotify.
- 0:56Apple Podcasts Or any platform that you listen to my podcast.
- 1:00It's a deconstructed type of podcast. And I'm telling you, sometimes it's hard
- 1:04to juggle life in a sense in the balance.
- 1:08And that's why I created this little episode here because sometimes I catch
- 1:13myself in life and this happens to many people.
- 1:16Is that there are things that kind of tend to kind of repeat in itself,
- 1:20whether it's the second, third time around, whether it's a scenario, situation,
- 1:25whether it's at work, whether it's family, whether it's your financial,
- 1:29whether it's all this, and that it kind of, in a sense, how can we kind of stop things to repeat?
- 1:36And sadly, you know, hey, listen, that's life. And one of the things in life,
- 1:40And one of the things about humanity and human history is that history tends
- 1:45to repeat itself in life.
- 1:47Things tend to repeat itself for the sake of, hey, listen, that's just what life is all about.
- 1:54You know what I mean? And I'm not going to kind of sugarcoat it or try to bring a philosophy in it.
- 1:59It's just that the question would be, what do we learn the second time around?
- 2:04And this is why I said, you know what? You can catch me everywhere.
- 2:07And I'm also on T-Juice TV.
- 2:10The description would be, or the information would be on my description and I would sell my peoples.
- 2:17Everybody, if you're listening to it and if you're an ongoing person listening
- 2:21to my podcast, the like button, it means a lot.
- 2:25It means a lot. You know what I mean? The comment and all that good stuff.
- 2:29Hey, listen, we're moving the dial here.
- 2:30And this is why we, today, in today's podcast, we definitely got a good one
- 2:36because sometimes I feel, and I'm not going to say sometimes,
- 2:39it's like there are things that happen that you kind of, wait a minute.
- 2:43It's like this movie that I just hit rewind, and I'm like looking at myself
- 2:48in the side, and it's like, okay.
- 2:50It's like I've seen this movie before. And sometimes, you know,
- 2:54those little actions in life,
- 2:56that if a scenario happens, and if you feel that kind of like that deja vu,
- 3:02and deja vu is like, you know, that little feeling with something,
- 3:05You know, I've been there, done that, you know But where, when, how?
- 3:11So that's the question That is that question And should we ask that question? What do you do?
- 3:17What do you do in life when you get
- 3:20this little feeling Because something happened, whether it's a scenario.
- 3:24Whatever situation Whether it's something in life where you say Damn,
- 3:29I feel like I've been there What am I supposed to do?
- 3:33What do I remember the first time around that didn't work out Oh, it worked out,
- 3:38And I want my audience out there or anybody that's listening.
- 3:41So just think about that situation.
- 3:45And I'm not trying to, you know, I want to separate from an episode where life
- 3:51is giving you a second chance.
- 3:52I'm trying to avoid going to that path.
- 3:56You know, for some people, it's like, okay, David, what does that mean?
- 3:59What are you trying to get at here in regards to, you know, life,
- 4:04things happening the same or something that's repeating in itself or something to that effect?
- 4:08And there's been many situations, and I guarantee you, and I've,
- 4:14look, listen, I've come across so many people.
- 4:16I got a great circle of friends all over the place from work,
- 4:20outside of work, to the gym.
- 4:23Everywhere I go, I'm there. And I've built a good rapport with many people that have opened up to me.
- 4:30And sometimes it sounds like there's people that you'd be like, okay, wait a minute.
- 4:36Then this happen to you Then you learn anything From the first time around And
- 4:40that's what I want My people to do I want anybody That's listening to this Once
- 4:44again Is that Whenever you feel that way You gotta Kinda hit the pause Binder in a sense.
- 4:52Kind of like, whoa, whoa, timeout, timeout, timeout. You know,
- 4:55for those people that love sports, hey, listen, I'm a sports person.
- 4:59And, you know, timeout means pause. Timeout like, hold on, hold on,
- 5:02hold on. What's going on, Travis? What's going on, Travis?
- 5:05And you got to have to assess the situation. Number one, you're going to probably
- 5:10wonder, why did that happen? Why is it happening again?
- 5:14Did I manifest that same situation? Am I attracted to that same situation?
- 5:20Situation do i want to be in that situation the same situation you know what's
- 5:25going on because the other day as i'm leaving the gym and then you know i got
- 5:29this little epiphany that's why i love going to the gym in the morning i'm like
- 5:33uh the puerto vican rooster as i always said.
- 5:38Waking up early doing my thing in the gym walking to work a little epiphany
- 5:44like it hit me like like Like if, I don't know, man.
- 5:50Have you ever, you know, seen those movies that people are in these pirate ships
- 5:53shooting a cannon? You see how loud a cannon, like, boom!
- 5:56Kind of felt that way. Like, it was like a loud sound, even though there was
- 6:01no sound, but it was just an internal voice.
- 6:04An internal feeling, like, bam!
- 6:07And I had this little epiphany. It was a reminder of something.
- 6:11And that was like a domino effect.
- 6:13There was this conversation that I had with somebody.
- 6:16That it became a domino effect that it started kind of reminding me,
- 6:23of things that I have manifested over here, throwing a cap, throwing a S,
- 6:30T, whatever this might be, but you get the chance, and it reminds me, like,
- 6:35ah, I remember this.
- 6:37And I remember from being to point A, thinking I'm going to be in point B,
- 6:43and years apart, that's what happened. And I'm like, okay.
- 6:47And having this conversation is like, wait, wait a minute.
- 6:50I've been here before. Huh. Interesting.
- 6:55And just because I've been there before, it may be, and I channel that in a
- 7:02thing, and sometimes memories, they listen.
- 7:04I know I understand as we sometimes get older, people might not have good memory.
- 7:08People might have whatever memory.
- 7:11People have short-term memory, long-term memory.
- 7:14But there is this thing in our brain that we do remember something that you
- 7:18just say to yourself, okay, what am I going to learn now?
- 7:21How can I do this different than the first time especially if I'm going to lean
- 7:25that something didn't work,
- 7:27And I don't want, you know, a lot of my peoples out there, which I love.
- 7:30You already know, the Deconstructing Topic podcast.
- 7:34My deconstructors. Woo! I don't want my people to once again be in this situation
- 7:40where something happened again and you get flustered.
- 7:44It's like, oh, man, it happened again. What should I do? You know, where are you?
- 7:47You know, what's going on? Just relax.
- 7:52Pause there for a second.
- 7:54I'm over here making movement on my chair. People are going to be like, David, you know.
- 7:57Got some extra sounds over there in the background. What's going on?
- 8:00Hey, you know, sitting in a leather seat.
- 8:03Hey, let's go. Hey, one day I was sitting in a gold throne.
- 8:09No, I'm just kidding. Watch a lot of fantasies out there, fantasy shows.
- 8:14But just hear me out.
- 8:18Because the other day I'm talking to one of my brothers-in-arms and they're
- 8:22telling a story that it's like, you know, I could have sworn you told me that
- 8:25story before. well, this time is a different, and I'm like, well, what's different?
- 8:30The characters, you know, what's different?
- 8:33It's the same story, just different characters, and that's where I want people
- 8:38to, like, kind of hit that pause and, like, go down.
- 8:42Believe it or not, there's so many situations that happen to us in life that
- 8:49it has happened before, and when it happened before, it doesn't matter what's
- 8:53two years ago, five, ten,
- 8:55fifteen, Listen, I'm dealing with a situation that I'm basically dealing with for nine years,
- 9:01And it's one of those things where I say to myself You know,
- 9:04hey, listen, I cannot become the person I can become If this certain thing is just repeating,
- 9:12So then what you gonna do?
- 9:15And that's the question that you're going to ask yourself. Because sometimes
- 9:18in life, sadly, as much as I come across so many people who take pride in their
- 9:25intelligence, thinking outside of the box.
- 9:28Hey, listen, I take pride of thinking on my own.
- 9:31But it doesn't mean that there's something that I have a weakness for that I
- 9:35tend to account for or something where I'm like, oh, my God.
- 9:39It's kind of like going to a candy store, if you will, somewhere where we go.
- 9:44And then your weakness is like, oh, man, I love chocolate chip popcorn.
- 9:51Despite the fact that the doctor said, don't eat that anymore, at least limit it.
- 9:55But people, again, we're going to fall into these patterns and so on that leads
- 9:59us to have that experience that, oh, my God, this happened again.
- 10:03Oh, it's happening again.
- 10:05When you get that notion and you get that little thing going on and that little
- 10:09feeling, that deja vu, please think about that.
- 10:14When I was walking in the gym talking about that epiphany, I kind of remember
- 10:17something. and one of the things that I've said, it's like, don't wait until
- 10:22life gives you another wake-up call.
- 10:24You understand what I'm saying? And sometimes, sadly, we need these wake-up
- 10:29calls, but sometimes it seems that we don't, we procrastinate that something
- 10:34happened, whether somebody got sick, hurt,
- 10:37passed away, something drastic happened that you'd be like, oh my God,
- 10:41it's a wake-up call. Please do not, please.
- 10:45I think that at this point in my life, at this point in your life.
- 10:48We don't need no more wake-up calls. We should be expecting what life gives us.
- 10:53As long as we're alive, we know that a lot of bad things will happen,
- 10:57not only just to us, to our friends, family, things that surround us,
- 11:03things that we have no control.
- 11:05And that's where that situation, when I'm talking to this individual,
- 11:11I get that sense like, whoa, I heard this conversation. for.
- 11:18Like, hold on. Because sometimes in life, what happens to you that when things
- 11:22happen again and you don't learn from it the first time, it's going to hit you
- 11:27harder the second time around.
- 11:29So that's why you got to hit a pause button. You got to think.
- 11:32You got to be like, and especially if you're somebody that have lived in life,
- 11:37has lived in this earth a little bit, you know, longer than others.
- 11:42You don't want to wait until you're 70, 60, 50, sometimes 40.
- 11:47And obviously, life kind of becomes a little bit different after 40.
- 11:51But you don't want to hit 50, 60 still with the same thing over and over and over.
- 11:56Somewhere, you have to do something.
- 11:59Especially if life is giving you the same scenario in which you did not learn from before.
- 12:06So this is like a little life lesson, kind of like a little advice.
- 12:10And I'm basking on this advice.
- 12:13Because someone reached out to me and told me, hey, wait a minute.
- 12:17Remember this, what we spoke about? And I said, yeah, huh.
- 12:24And they were showing me an article of a person who was in rock bottom,
- 12:28and they were on a mission, in a one-year mission, they were able to go from
- 12:32rock bottom to at least touch a rock.
- 12:37Think about that. That's the same. Rock bottom means the low of the lowest, right?
- 12:42It's always get that saying of, you know, you're going so deep,
- 12:47so low that the only thing that you're going to touch is a rock. That's earth.
- 12:51But I said to myself, okay, there's only one way to go up.
- 12:56And it kind of reminds me of that thing. And that's when I had that epiphany
- 12:59of things that I said to myself, I need to manifest.
- 13:03And I ain't manifesting because I'm on a mission and we all should be on a mission
- 13:09of let's not allow life to dictate how we live and things happening over and over and over.
- 13:18Anyways, that's my little thing, my little life lesson. Just time out.
- 13:25Whenever you get that hit, that hit right there that says,
- 13:30I've seen this movie before Hit the pause button And then hit play whenever
- 13:36You're ready to make it happen again This is your boy Deconstructing Topic Podcast

- 13:47you already know In my podcast,
