- 0:02Speaker 1: Here's your host, Alex Garrett. Well, as I'm watching the
- 0:09Speaker 1: news today, it all makes sense why the National Guard
- 0:12Speaker 1: was deployed in DC. See once again President Trump playing
- 0:17Speaker 1: chess while everybody's scrambling trying to play checkers with him.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Everybody criticized why DC was being cracked down on, when
- 0:26Speaker 1: we all know now this is probably why you're telling
- 0:31Speaker 1: me the Zelenski meeting that's happening today was cooked up
- 0:35Speaker 1: overnight after the Alaska summit with Putin. You're telling me
- 0:38Speaker 1: that you're on the one leg up network. No, I
- 0:41Speaker 1: think this was planned, and I think the crackdown in
- 0:46Speaker 1: DC on the homeless, on everything going on through the
- 0:49Speaker 1: National Guard was in preparation for these European leaders. Do
- 0:55Speaker 1: you know who's gonna be there today all day at
- 0:58Speaker 1: the White House in Washington. Political put this out earlier today,
- 1:05Speaker 1: you're ready for this. French President Emmanuel mccrohn, UK Prime
- 1:10Speaker 1: Minister Kara Sturmer, German Chancellor Friedrich Mehers, Finished President Alexander Stubb,
- 1:17Speaker 1: Italian Prime Minister Georgia Maloney and NATO Secretary General Mark
- 1:22Speaker 1: Rout and European Commission President Ursula vonder Land. President Jrump
- 1:28Speaker 1: last week called the capital basically an embarrassment, and now
- 1:33Speaker 1: we know why because of this high stakes meeting following
- 1:39Speaker 1: the Alaska summit. It all makes sense now, and I'm
- 1:44Speaker 1: gonna come back after the summit to talk about this
- 1:47Speaker 1: because this is a huge deal. We are on the
- 1:51Speaker 1: precipice of something very important happening with the breakup of
- 1:57Speaker 1: this war, with the ending of this war, and we
- 2:00Speaker 1: will cover it here on one leg up with Alex Grrett,
- 2:02Speaker 1: because we are taxpayers. In addition to being adaptive athletes
- 2:07Speaker 1: or athletes or people disabilities, or celebrities or pop stars,
- 2:12Speaker 1: we're also taxpayers. And this right here is what our
- 2:15Speaker 1: tax paying dollars are paying for. A clean DC for
- 2:20Speaker 1: not only taurusts, but but foreign leaders. It's better than
- 2:27Speaker 1: when Obama put net yahu in through the back door
- 2:32Speaker 1: through the garbage disposal area. I remember there, you get
- 2:35Speaker 1: to walk through bag of the trash. It's much nicer
- 2:37Speaker 1: this way with the crackdown. So it all makes sense
- 2:43Speaker 1: now in the pre show to this major meeting, why
- 2:47Speaker 1: Trump wanted the crackdown, why he deployed the National Guard,
- 2:51Speaker 1: It just makes sense. And what I will say, what
- 3:01Speaker 1: I will say, is there so many other news I
- 3:05Speaker 1: want to get to before the summit really kicks off,
- 3:07Speaker 1: But I had to hit home this point that it
- 3:11Speaker 1: all makes sense why President Trump called it a national guard,
- 3:15Speaker 1: doesn't it. You have all these European foreign dignitaries who
- 3:19Speaker 1: were there to support Zelenski and maybe save them from himself. Look,
- 3:23Speaker 1: I know it is a very bad White House meeting
- 3:26Speaker 1: in February. We all saw it. We saw the back
- 3:29Speaker 1: and forth. But Dolenzki didn't help himself either, And so
- 3:34Speaker 1: maybe all of this being a joint effort to try
- 3:36Speaker 1: and stop the war is better? Is better? But now
- 3:45Speaker 1: on August eighteenth, twenty twenty five, it all makes sense.
- 3:52Speaker 1: But before the summit, I wanted to play this because
- 3:54Speaker 1: in April of twenty nineteen, I said this about Zelensky.
- 3:59Speaker 1: So imagine a comedian wins in the Ukraine. That would
- 4:03Speaker 1: be crazy. What's crazy is it actually happened. He became
- 4:07Speaker 1: president and he's had to lead Ukraine through this disastrous war.
- 4:13Speaker 1: And I do agree when Biden said minor incursion. We
- 4:16Speaker 1: talked about this a long time ago. That should have
- 4:20Speaker 1: been the stopping of the war, but it wasn't. It
- 4:23Speaker 1: really wasn't. Now, I don't think Trump should have called
- 4:26Speaker 1: him the boss. He could have said your boss, but
- 4:29Speaker 1: he's not the boss. He's a dictator. But he's not
- 4:32Speaker 1: wrong to blame Biden for the allowance of the small
- 4:35Speaker 1: incursion which has now turned into a war that, by
- 4:38Speaker 1: the way, is three years plus plus a few months old.
- 4:41Speaker 1: So this is all making sense now why he cracked
- 4:45Speaker 1: down on the DC crime, on the DC homelessness, and
- 4:50Speaker 1: he should not be faulted for that. Do you know
- 4:53Speaker 1: in New York City President at President Mayor Deblasio cleared
- 4:57Speaker 1: out the homeless for photo ops. Did you hear about
- 5:00Speaker 1: that story a few years ago? This is exactly what
- 5:04Speaker 1: this is about, clearing out DC to make it look
- 5:07Speaker 1: respectable for foreign leaders that are coming into the city
- 5:11Speaker 1: of DC, to our capital. That's what this was all about.
- 5:16Speaker 1: It makes sense now, It makes a total sense what
- 5:21Speaker 1: Trump was doing. And I'm going to bring it up
- 5:27Speaker 1: because it's died down a little bit, but now it
- 5:30Speaker 1: all makes sense why he didn't want our capital looking
- 5:33Speaker 1: embarrassing to foreign leaders in a high stakes meeting with Zelensky,
- 5:39Speaker 1: and I don't blame him one bit, And he has
- 5:43Speaker 1: a chance to do what other presidents have done. I'm
- 5:50Speaker 1: thinking of Reagan with Gorbachev, he has a changed to
- 5:54Speaker 1: broker piece once again, and that would be a major win.
- 5:58Speaker 1: He already should be nominated for the Noble Spies, but
- 6:00Speaker 1: that would be an amazing win if he were able
- 6:02Speaker 1: to negotiate this the right way and not count out
- 6:09Speaker 1: to Putin and everything that while he's putting a lot
- 6:13Speaker 1: of pressure on Zelenski. Well, Zelenski's rightfully or not rightfully,
- 6:20Speaker 1: gotten a lot of money and the war's still going on,
- 6:24Speaker 1: and I think we all hoped the war will be
- 6:25Speaker 1: squashed with all the funding we supplied Ukraine. There is
- 6:29Speaker 1: no doubt about it. That money was supposed to give
- 6:32Speaker 1: Ukraine one leg up in the Russian War, and it
- 6:36Speaker 1: has not totally done that yet. But I think once
- 6:41Speaker 1: this is done, you will see him also negotiate peace
- 6:45Speaker 1: with Israel and Palestine. There I said it, this is
- 6:48Speaker 1: a blueprint. If he can do this, he can also
- 6:54Speaker 1: navigate a true piece between Israel and Palestine and Humus
- 7:00Speaker 1: once and for all, it can happen. I think he's
- 7:05Speaker 1: using this as a blueprint for that and other conflicts
- 7:08Speaker 1: that we have to deal with. But this is going
- 7:15Speaker 1: to be powerful today. European leaders coming to the White House,
- 7:20Speaker 1: coming to the United of America. Whether you say, to
- 7:24Speaker 1: make sure Trump doesn't bully him, that's kind of my feeling,
- 7:27Speaker 1: but also to support the efforts of hopefully both Zelensky
- 7:31Speaker 1: and Trump. Here. It's really a hey, we're on your
- 7:37Speaker 1: side kind of moment, and it's time for Zelensky to
- 7:41Speaker 1: truly say, hey, we I'm going to agree to this
- 7:46Speaker 1: and in the war. That's what's got to happen here.
- 7:51Speaker 1: It's three years of a war too long. There were
- 7:54Speaker 1: so many other news. I mean, the one thing that
- 7:56Speaker 1: I was going to think of before this summit gets
- 7:58Speaker 1: underway is what's happening Governor hokel So, I don't know.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Just the news picked up on this story that Hochel
- 8:07Speaker 1: and even the Times has admitted this. Hochel pardoned an
- 8:18Speaker 1: illegal who was convicted of manslaughter as a teenager, as
- 8:22Speaker 1: reported on by the New York Times, and Homeland Security
- 8:30Speaker 1: took to X this weekend to criticize her. Rightfully so,
- 8:38Speaker 1: and I actually got a list of all the clemencies
- 8:40Speaker 1: that she offered this weekend. But the Department of Homeland
- 8:47Speaker 1: Security said Governor Kathy Hochel, your shameful secret is out.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Rather than putting New York to New Yorkers first, you're
- 8:54Speaker 1: protecting a criminal illegal alien their words, killer with a
- 8:58Speaker 1: rap sheet including convictions for manslaughter and criminal possession of
- 9:03Speaker 1: a firearm according to The New York Times. But New
- 9:06Speaker 1: York Times Hlkal parted an illegal who was convicted of
- 9:11Speaker 1: manslaughter as a teenager and now fifty two, he was partoned.
- 9:16Speaker 1: Just last month, some chiff Vadevang said that he was
- 9:26Speaker 1: shooting in self defense in a pool hall in Brooklyn.
- 9:37Speaker 1: He got pardoned. And it's not the only person that
- 9:42Speaker 1: got pardoned. By the way, there were thirteen individuals. Now,
- 9:48Speaker 1: some of them I could see being pardoned, like I
- 9:53Speaker 1: can live with Theodore Goodman forty three, convicted of criminal
- 9:56Speaker 1: possession of controlled substance in the fifth degree in two
- 9:59Speaker 1: thousand and three. A lot of these were criminal possessions
- 10:03Speaker 1: of controlled substances or criminal sales of controlled substances with
- 10:09Speaker 1: weed being legal. Can I can deal with this? But
- 10:16Speaker 1: she also let someone go who was committed of arson
- 10:20Speaker 1: in the fourth degree in two thousand and eight. You
- 10:22Speaker 1: gave clemency to someone who committed arson burned down an
- 10:30Speaker 1: establishment or a home and that guy gets clemency. Well,
- 10:38Speaker 1: if people will burned down buildings are allowed to be
- 10:43Speaker 1: clement granting clemency. Governor Hockle, you run the MTA, people
- 10:47Speaker 1: disabilities should be allowed to run, to ride the rails,
- 10:52Speaker 1: and ride the MTA subways for free. Because if you're
- 10:58Speaker 1: gonna allow a killer and an arsonist to be free,
- 11:03Speaker 1: why are the disabled having to pay their way. It
- 11:08Speaker 1: doesn't make sense. We are contributing to society. We shouldn't
- 11:12Speaker 1: be punished for that. While killers and arsenists are set
- 11:17Speaker 1: free in New York State, I cannot wait for the
- 11:25Speaker 1: LR and I have these proposed changes where the ADA
- 11:28Speaker 1: fares all day. I would love that. I think all
- 11:31Speaker 1: of us would love that, But for now we have
- 11:35Speaker 1: to deal with a thirteen dollars fare because if someone
- 11:37Speaker 1: wrote to me from the LR, we only thought the
- 11:39Speaker 1: disabled go out for medical purposes at leisure. We're also
- 11:44Speaker 1: working a working class. People's disabilities are working class. So
- 11:50Speaker 1: if an arsonist and a killer can be set free
- 11:54Speaker 1: by the governor who also runs the MTA, the MTA
- 11:57Speaker 1: should just let the doors open for people's disabilities. No
- 11:59Speaker 1: questionquestions asked, no questions asked. That's the way we make
- 12:04Speaker 1: it right because in this weekend alone an artist, a killer,
- 12:11Speaker 1: we're two of thirteen let out giving clemency, pardoned, but
- 12:19Speaker 1: keep locking the ADA door because we're the real threat here, right. Nonsense.
- 12:27Speaker 1: So I'm glad I read through that because just a
- 12:30Speaker 1: couple names in and I'm already fired up about who
- 12:33Speaker 1: was given clemency because it's disgusting attempted robbery. Let go
- 12:45Speaker 1: Giovannio Duniez, let go given pardons assault in the third degree.
- 12:55Speaker 1: Let go Susannah Morgan Thomas clemency, and then Sammy van
- 13:04Speaker 1: and Avang fifty two, convicted of manslaughter in the first
- 13:08Speaker 1: degree in nineteen ninety a legal criminal or not. You
- 13:13Speaker 1: let a murderer out, you gave them a pardon. So
- 13:18Speaker 1: part of me when I say people with disabilities should
- 13:23Speaker 1: now have free ride because you just let out a killer,
- 13:28Speaker 1: an arsonist, and robbers and assaulters. But we, the people
- 13:35Speaker 1: with disabilities, are a real threat. Right. Think again, Governor Hochel,
- 13:40Speaker 1: Think again.
