Chumba Casino. Welcome to 70x80, the section
• 0:57
of 7080 .it dedicated to the deepening of the
• 1:00
topics discussed in the articles of the portal.
• 1:02
We are with the director Massimo Lualdi who introduces
• 1:05
the topic of the day. What are we talking about
• 1:07
today? Thank you for watching. Let's say in the
• 1:54
meantime that the name Paiolas, stylized as Paiolas
• 1:57
with the final S replaced by the symbol of the
• 2:01
dollar, derives from the famous American scandal
• 2:04
of 1960 that had brought to light the practice
• 2:07
of some record companies to pay DJs and radio
• 2:10
directors to promote the broadcast of their musical
• 2:14
products. This denomination did not seem particularly
• 2:17
happy for the Paul Hyde components, originally
• 2:20
from the Yorkshire, with a and Bob Rock, Robert
• 2:24
Jens Rock, so his real name, not Dart, who, just
• 2:28
to remind you of the American music scandal,
• 2:30
were invited by their record company to modify
• 2:34
it, first in Paiolas with the symbol of the dollar
• 2:38
and then, in 1985, in Paul Hyde and the Paiolas,
• 2:43
until the dissolution of the group in 1988, even
• 2:46
if the duo would have reformed from 2003 to 2008.

MCL Avvocati Associati www .lexmcl .it Influenced
• 3:18
by musical artists such as David Bowie, Slade,
• 3:20
T -Rex, the Paiolas knew how to incorporate in
• 3:23
their sound elements of reggae, dub, pop, punk
• 3:26
and, of course, new wave. And right in the first
• 3:29
Italian afro music discos, young subculture of
• 3:33
the 80s, the DJs began to play the piece of the
• 3:37
Paiolas, Eyes of a Stranger, in a fastened form,
• 3:40
turning the song of the home playing at 45 rounds
• 3:43
instead of 30. three laps. Generando il curioso
• 4:12
effetto che il brano originale, raramente suonato,
• 4:15
veniva considerato artefatto. Polaida e Bob Rock,
• 4:19
dopo lo scioglimento a due riprese dei Paiolas,
• 4:22
hanno proseguito una positiva carriera solista
• 4:24
nell 'ambito del pop rock. Grazie al direttore
• 4:27
di 7080 .it Massimo Lualdi per aver trattato
