- 0:00Speaker 1: At your early body praise party. I am a sherry macket.
- 0:04Speaker 1: It's time for today's word, The strengths of a godly Father.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Proverbs twenty and seven says the righteous man walks in
- 0:18Speaker 1: his integrity, his children are blessed after him. You know,
- 0:22Speaker 1: as we approach Father's Day, it's important to remember that
- 0:26Speaker 1: one of the greatest gifts a father can give his
- 0:29Speaker 1: children is not wealth. It's not success or possessions, y'all,
- 0:32Speaker 1: is integrity. Children may not remember every gift they receive,
- 0:37Speaker 1: but they will always remember the example that was set
- 0:40Speaker 1: before them. In today's world, fathers carry tremendous responsibility. They provide,
- 0:47Speaker 1: they protect, they encourage, they correct, and they lead. Often
- 0:51Speaker 1: the sacrifices they may go unnoticed. You know, they do
- 0:57Speaker 1: it all the time, and they do it thanklessly. Wake
- 1:00Speaker 1: up early, they work long hours, and they carry burdens
- 1:03Speaker 1: no one else sees. Yet they continue showing up because
- 1:07Speaker 1: they understand their role is bigger than themselves. The Bible
- 1:11Speaker 1: tells us that a righteous man who walks in integrity
- 1:15Speaker 1: leaves a blessing for his children. Notice it doesn't say
- 1:19Speaker 1: a perfect man. None of us are perfect. Job it
- 1:22Speaker 1: says a righteous man someone who seeks God, admits mistakes,
- 1:26Speaker 1: and strives to do what's right even when it's difficult.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Children learn more from what they see than from what
- 1:34Speaker 1: they hear. When a father chooses honesty overcome fromise, faith
- 1:39Speaker 1: over fear, and perseverance over quitting, he's teaching lessons that
- 1:43Speaker 1: will last a lifetime. Perhaps you're a father who feels
- 1:47Speaker 1: like you're falling short. Maybe you wish you could do
- 1:50Speaker 1: more or be more. Remember that God is not asking
- 1:56Speaker 1: you for perfection. He's asking you for faithful See. Your
- 2:01Speaker 1: prayers matter, your presence matter, your example matters. And for
- 2:07Speaker 1: those whose fathers have gone on to be with the
- 2:10Speaker 1: Lord and who grew up without a father, remember that
- 2:13Speaker 1: our heavenly Father fills every void. He is a faithful
- 2:16Speaker 1: God where others have failed, and present where others have
- 2:20Speaker 1: been absent. This week, let's celebrate the fathers who have
- 2:24Speaker 1: stood strong, sacrificed much, and pointed their families toward God.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Oh Father, God, thank you for the gift of fathers
- 2:33Speaker 1: and father figures who have poured wisdom, love and guidance
- 2:36Speaker 1: into our lives. Strengthen every father who is carrying heavy
- 2:39Speaker 1: responsibilities today. Help them lead with integrity and courage and faith.
- 2:45Speaker 1: And for those who are missing their fathers this season,
- 2:48Speaker 1: remind them that you are the perfect father who never
- 2:51Speaker 1: leaves or for sakes is children in Jesus' name. Now
- 2:56Speaker 1: that your word for today, take an applied to your
- 2:58Speaker 1: everyday life and you can. You need to be encouraged
- 3:00Speaker 1: and inspired. It's your early morning praise party. I am
- 3:04Speaker 1: Sherry Mackie.
