- 0:10Speaker 1: Hello, and welcome to reality TV Cringe. I am one
- 0:14Speaker 1: of your hosts, Delia, and I'm here with my real
- 0:17Speaker 1: tight homegirl and my daughter in law, Badcher.
- 0:22Speaker 2: I could just pinch your cheeks, so beautiful, Sabbage.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Your natural hair is getting so long.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 0:29Speaker 1: I'm glorious. I love it. We are back to recap
- 0:35Speaker 1: some Sister Wives. We are on season nineteen. We're gonna
- 0:37Speaker 1: be talking episode thirteen, even though, honestly, and I must admit,
- 0:42Speaker 1: we missed the recap for episode twelve last week.
- 0:47Speaker 2: And that was because I've heard my ass got sick
- 0:51Speaker 2: from your husband.
- 0:52Speaker 1: Because my husband went to Europe and my husband doesn't
- 0:56Speaker 1: see fit to take care of his old ass. I'm like,
- 1:00Speaker 1: take some multi vitamins, get some antioxidants. He can't, and
- 1:05Speaker 1: he cannot be bothered. So he gets on a plane
- 1:07Speaker 1: with all these other unwashed people, goes to an unwashed country,
- 1:12Speaker 1: gets sick and carries it back to his immuno compromised,
- 1:16Speaker 1: very skinny, wilicate. He doesn't have enough body fat to
- 1:19Speaker 1: actually process viral infections, and so as soon as he
- 1:23Speaker 1: got homies like, I hate to say it, but I'm sick,
- 1:25Speaker 1: and I was just sick. In September from this.
- 1:26Speaker 2: As I know, and you were so fucking pissed. You're like,
- 1:29Speaker 2: he came back and I'm gonna get sick and you
- 1:31Speaker 2: did no.
- 1:32Speaker 1: I was taking my zinc though, taking that you gave me,
- 1:36Speaker 1: and I was trying to elderberries. I was praying, yeah,
- 1:39Speaker 1: like please Lord, I don't want to be sick. And
- 1:42Speaker 1: then on Thanksgiving, bitch, there was the tickle in the
- 1:45Speaker 1: throat and then I got monstrously ill and I was
- 1:48Speaker 1: mad the entire time, and my husband I didn't even
- 1:50Speaker 1: want to look at it. I'm like Jesus. Every time
- 1:54Speaker 1: we get sick, it's because if you how about take
- 1:57Speaker 1: care of yourself. Would it be so hard to just
- 1:59Speaker 1: take a fucking vitamin?
- 2:01Speaker 2: I mean honestly. And now he's in Boston, I know
- 2:03Speaker 2: we gotta be bring something bad.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I know. Anyway, So I was sick, I couldn't hate,
- 2:08Speaker 1: I could hardly talk, and I'm still a bit flugamy. Yeah,
- 2:12Speaker 1: and I apologize in advance, and so if you have
- 2:14Speaker 1: the misceifhonial, like I do, I apologize for everything that's
- 2:18Speaker 1: going on over here in advance. Sorry about that. Yeah, sorry,

- 5:05Speaker 1: let's get into the latest episode of Sister Wife season nineteen,
- 5:11Speaker 1: which is episode thirteen. But did you want to do
- 5:14Speaker 1: like a little recappy poo of the previous episode?
- 5:19Speaker 2: Yeah, Like, it was just there was a couple things
- 5:21Speaker 2: that happened. Sure, there was Cody still crying in Pairwan
- 5:24Speaker 2: and Mary being like, this would be so much easier
- 5:26Speaker 2: if Cody wasn't was a jerk, Right, I'm just like, girl,
- 5:29Speaker 2: you're so fucking stupid.
- 5:30Speaker 1: He's been a drink it's all entire time.
- 5:31Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:32Speaker 2: And then we have Sir Vanna's graduation party.
- 5:35Speaker 1: Sub Fana and her cheek. She's so cretty, she.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Is so adorbus. But Cody and Robin were not invited
- 5:42Speaker 2: and they were not like they're ousted from the family club.
- 5:44Speaker 1: But didn't you think it was weird that Cody was
- 5:47Speaker 1: attributing him not being able to attend to how everybody
- 5:51Speaker 1: felt about Robin. Yeah versus no, Cody, we just don't
- 5:55Speaker 1: like you because you're a terrible husband and father.
- 5:58Speaker 2: Yeah, well we also don't like your bitch wife either,
- 6:00Speaker 2: like that.
- 6:01Speaker 1: In addition, true.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Yeah, but he anything to take the heat off of him. Honestly,
- 6:06Speaker 2: let me have Mary going to London and crying at
- 6:08Speaker 2: Stone Hinge because it's where she's always wanted to go.
- 6:11Speaker 1: Listen. I saw a lot of people making fun of
- 6:14Speaker 1: her for having such an emotional response at Stonehenge. But
- 6:18Speaker 1: you know, I just remember, like back in two thousand
- 6:21Speaker 1: and four, when I was about eighteen years old. Yeah,
- 6:28Speaker 1: you don't even let me finish, and you're already laughing. Anyway,
- 6:31Speaker 1: I went to Ireland. I was my own. I went
- 6:33Speaker 1: to Ireland on my own, and I was getting out
- 6:36Speaker 1: of one of my marriages, and I just wanted to
- 6:38Speaker 1: to take a space, like take some space and just
- 6:41Speaker 1: go to this one place I had always wanted to go.
- 6:43Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm great.
- 6:44Speaker 1: I spent like three weeks on my own, a young
- 6:47Speaker 1: and I dare say, beautiful, beautiful woman in Dublin, just
- 6:50Speaker 1: meeting all these people randomly and I had the time
- 6:53Speaker 1: of my life and it really was such a special
- 6:56Speaker 1: moment that I look back on so very fondly. So
- 6:59Speaker 1: I could really relate to Mary, and so I'm not
- 7:01Speaker 1: gonna make fun of her for that. No, I think
- 7:03Speaker 1: it's awesome.
- 7:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought that was great. And she talked about
- 7:05Speaker 2: how it was empowering and awesome, and I'm like, you know, what,
- 7:07Speaker 2: good for you? You should be able to do that.
- 7:09Speaker 2: And then Mary goes back to Flagstaff to see Cody again,
- 7:14Speaker 2: well last time, while she writes a check to pay
- 7:17Speaker 2: off a quarter of Coyote Pass, even though she only
- 7:20Speaker 2: owns a third of one property, which equals out to
- 7:24Speaker 2: about ten percent. Right, she's paying off a quarter of
- 7:26Speaker 2: the fucking property.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Because she is trusting that he will do the right thing.
- 7:31Speaker 1: And on camera, Cody does say we're gonna split it equally, sure,
- 7:35Speaker 1: And so I was wondering if they could use that
- 7:37Speaker 1: as evidence if there's ever a lawsuit because he doesn't
- 7:41Speaker 1: do what he says he's gonna do. Can they submit
- 7:43Speaker 1: that as evidence or not? Because they're saying and they're
- 7:46Speaker 1: acting like they're going to be fair, but of course
- 7:48Speaker 1: we don't know that.
- 7:50Speaker 2: No, and I mean Cody even mentioned something in that
- 7:52Speaker 2: episode about Janelle, because Mary also went to rat on
- 7:56Speaker 2: Janelle to Cody and Robin in this conversation, which is
- 8:00Speaker 2: that's just stupid.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I'm just like, fuck you, She's dumb.
- 8:04Speaker 2: The pissed me off.
- 8:05Speaker 1: That's her allegiance.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Though.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Yes, she's trying to say, I'm not gonna sit I'm
- 8:08Speaker 1: not going to be on the side of the wives.
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm not going to be on the side of Cody
- 8:13Speaker 1: and Robin. I'm gonna sit on the fence and I'm
- 8:15Speaker 1: gonna look at both sides and be like, no, you
- 8:16Speaker 1: have picked a side. Yeah, this is you picking a side.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Going to the McMansion and telling them that Janelle visited
- 8:23Speaker 1: you and wanted to protect you in case they were
- 8:26Speaker 1: going to cheat you out of the land. Yep.
- 8:29Speaker 2: And this is where Cody says on his talking head
- 8:31Speaker 2: that Janelle's worried that he will screw her, and he's honest,
- 8:34Speaker 2: He's gonna be honest that he has thought about screwing her,
- 8:36Speaker 2: but his wife with a conscience aka Robin won't let him,
- 8:40Speaker 2: which is a load of sure, load of shit. And
- 8:42Speaker 2: then the last part of that episode last week was
- 8:44Speaker 2: Cody going to Vegas with his dumb brothers.
- 8:47Speaker 1: His dumbbald brothers, his dumb brothers showing up with his hairnet.
- 8:51Speaker 1: Oh my god, unleashing the curls. Yeah, the grotesque balderie
- 8:55Speaker 1: of it all horrible, just the real estate of yellow
- 8:59Speaker 1: Pa bald pate Off, just like looking like such a clown,
- 9:04Speaker 1: yet such a fool, having absolutely no ability to see
- 9:08Speaker 1: himself in any moment, no interest, affection, no insight. Can't
- 9:13Speaker 1: see what a ding dong he looks like.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Not at all. And then they go and visit the
- 9:16Speaker 2: cul de sac that they used to live in, and
- 9:19Speaker 2: one of the brothers asks him if there's any hope
- 9:21Speaker 2: in reconciling with Janelle at least, and Cody's like, well,
- 9:23Speaker 2: I want to, but she won't give you the tub of.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Dose, which is a lie. Has been contradicted multiple times
- 9:29Speaker 1: by you on the show, that you don't love her
- 9:32Speaker 1: and you don't want to be with her, So why
- 9:33Speaker 1: are you lying to your brothers. You're such a liar.
- 9:36Speaker 2: And then he also trashes polygamy and says that polygamy
- 9:39Speaker 2: kills intimacy and he wants an emotionally intimate relationship as
- 9:43Speaker 2: one of his brothers is still living polygamy.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Yeah, that old ass one.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Yeah, wonder what his marriages are like?
- 9:50Speaker 1: Qhy terrible?
- 9:51Speaker 2: Yeah? God, So that was it last week. Yes, so
- 9:54Speaker 2: this week episode thirteen entitled give Up the Ghost. Don't
- 9:59Speaker 2: know what that's in reference.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I think it's the ghost of the marriage between Cody
- 10:02Speaker 1: and Mary.
- 10:03Speaker 2: Okay, I think.
- 10:04Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I don't know that makes sense. But we start with
- 10:08Speaker 2: Mary and her two fake friends going to Lacai and
- 10:11Speaker 2: having a nice sit town lunch.
- 10:13Speaker 1: Now are these real friends or did the producers hire
- 10:17Speaker 1: these two women to speak for the audience and what
- 10:21Speaker 1: we want to say?
- 10:22Speaker 2: I don't know. Well, I mean, Mary says that these
- 10:24Speaker 2: two ladies were with her when she had the spiritual release,
- 10:27Speaker 2: and so they've been with her this whole entire time.
- 10:29Speaker 2: But Mary one, well she said she used to babysit Andrea.
- 10:33Speaker 2: But Mary lies, I don't Yeah, who knows, probably, but
- 10:36Speaker 2: I'm just like whatever. Andrea and Hillari with the weirdest
- 10:39Speaker 2: spelling names ever. Tragedy, Yeah, very ridiculous. They go and
- 10:45Speaker 2: have lunch with Mary and they kind of talk about
- 10:48Speaker 2: like polygamy and how it's terrible.
- 10:52Speaker 1: Well, they start off the conversation by asking Mary if
- 10:54Speaker 1: she's sucked anybody yet, Well, yeah, one of them does,
- 10:57Speaker 1: which I'm like, that's great. That's my girl right there. Yeah,
- 11:00Speaker 1: that's the one I'd want to hang out with. And
- 11:04Speaker 1: then they kind of get into a conversation about Cody
- 11:07Speaker 1: and his ego, and Mary mentions that they moved, Cody
- 11:12Speaker 1: helped her to move. It happened to land anniversary and
- 11:18Speaker 1: like how it was all so strange.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Yeah, And then they also ask Mary if she's still
- 11:23Speaker 2: friends with Robin, and Mary said that her and Robin
- 11:25Speaker 2: used to be very close, but now she just doesn't
- 11:27Speaker 2: really know how to be friends with her husband's wife,
- 11:31Speaker 2: her ex husband's wife. It's very weird, which I thought
- 11:34Speaker 2: was kind of telling why, Well, just because like they
- 11:37Speaker 2: used to be b ffs, and so now she's like, well,
- 11:40Speaker 2: i mean, according to Mary, stupid.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Okay, then she is stupid because Robin was never that
- 11:47Speaker 1: to her and never wanted to be that to her.
- 11:48Speaker 2: Well, and Mary also looks at Cody as a good
- 11:50Speaker 2: husband looks so she's so stupid.
- 11:54Speaker 1: But then again, I'm like, is she setting up this
- 11:58Speaker 1: brunch with her friends to have them say all the
- 12:01Speaker 1: things that she wishes she could say, maybybe she can't
- 12:04Speaker 1: say right now because there's a potential lawsuit hanging over
- 12:07Speaker 1: her head, or like she's still trying to get her
- 12:09Speaker 1: twenty five percent out of it, and so she's not
- 12:12Speaker 1: the one saying it. She's gonna let these two girls
- 12:14Speaker 1: say it.
- 12:14Speaker 2: Maybe. I mean Mary did say in her talking head
- 12:17Speaker 2: that she's being more vulnerable in this conversation than she
- 12:19Speaker 2: ever really has before, and she's like finding the freedom
- 12:23Speaker 2: to say more things, which is cool. And then next
- 12:26Speaker 2: week we see in the PREVIOUWS she's calling Cody a dumbass,
- 12:28Speaker 2: So like maybe she's starting to open up, but I
- 12:30Speaker 2: don't know, I just feel.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Like ping pong back and forth and back and forth,
- 12:34Speaker 1: and she's like, I'm over it. And then she's like, well,
- 12:36Speaker 1: I mean, if he changed, maybe I would go back
- 12:39Speaker 1: to him. Like even in this conversation when she's talking
- 12:42Speaker 1: to these girls, she seems like she would go back
- 12:45Speaker 1: to him, and one of them even calls her out yes,
- 12:48Speaker 1: And essentially they're trying to tell her like get over
- 12:50Speaker 1: this guy.
- 12:51Speaker 2: Oh my god, like stop pining over him, Like just.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Be grateful you have the time with him, but like
- 12:56Speaker 1: be here now, in this moment, in the chapter of
- 12:59Speaker 1: your life, you have your whole world ahead of you.
- 13:01Speaker 1: And I think this is where Mary says something like, yeah,
- 13:03Speaker 1: but what would my life be like if he had
- 13:06Speaker 1: told me seven years ago when I was forty five
- 13:09Speaker 1: years old and not fifty two years old, Like how
- 13:12Speaker 1: much more of a life could I have had? Or
- 13:15Speaker 1: a head start with a life could I have had,
- 13:17Speaker 1: Which is a valid statement. But Mary, let's not abdicate
- 13:21Speaker 1: all the responsibility of that marriage. Let let's not put
- 13:24Speaker 1: it all onto Cody. Abdicated the wrong word. Let's not
- 13:27Speaker 1: assign it all to Cody, because you were the one
- 13:30Speaker 1: who chose to stay. You were the one who was
- 13:33Speaker 1: not having a sexual relationship with your husband. You are
- 13:37Speaker 1: the one who was never even visited by your husband.
- 13:39Speaker 1: You were not even in the rotation. He hated your guts,
- 13:42Speaker 1: he was saying so on television. So let's talk about
- 13:45Speaker 1: your responsibility in staying in that fucked up situation. It's
- 13:49Speaker 1: not something he necessarily did to you. It's something you
- 13:52Speaker 1: allowed to take place as.
- 13:53Speaker 2: Well, right well, for sure, yeah, for sure. And I
- 13:56Speaker 2: mean the one of the other interesting things one of
- 14:00Speaker 2: the friends said was talking about like Robin. She's like,
- 14:03Speaker 2: I knew from the moment he married Robin that he
- 14:05Speaker 2: was going to prefer her, only he only ever cared
- 14:08Speaker 2: about her. So I'm glad that you're finally seeing it.
- 14:10Speaker 2: And Mary in her talking heads like, yeah, it took
- 14:12Speaker 2: me longer than normal to realize that that was the truth.
- 14:16Speaker 2: But I'm just like, what do you What do you mean?
- 14:18Speaker 2: Like how much do you need to see for it
- 14:21Speaker 2: to finally hit you? Like what was the defining moment
- 14:24Speaker 2: when he said he doesn't want to be married to
- 14:26Speaker 2: you anymore?
- 14:27Speaker 1: Now I feel like she's been knowing all along, Like
- 14:30Speaker 1: the week before when Jen was talking to camera and
- 14:33Speaker 1: she's like, yeah, I was around them in Las Vegas,
- 14:36Speaker 1: and I saw it way back then. He was spending
- 14:38Speaker 1: all of his time with Robin. Yeah, he wasn't spending
- 14:41Speaker 1: it with the other wives, like Jen and Mary were
- 14:44Speaker 1: talking during that time. For sure, Mary was talking to
- 14:48Speaker 1: all of these women that were now being introduced to
- 14:50Speaker 1: that we've never seen before. All of these women know
- 14:52Speaker 1: the score. That's because Mary was telling them what was
- 14:54Speaker 1: going on. It's not like she was oblivious to the
- 14:56Speaker 1: fact that Cody was treating her badly. She knew that's
- 14:59Speaker 1: why she had it, but in her mouth, sitting in
- 15:01Speaker 1: a tub talking to somebody that she thought was a
- 15:04Speaker 1: man that she would have one hundred percent left Cody for.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Right well, and that's where she brings up the religious
- 15:10Speaker 2: aspect of it, Like she talks about how you're taught
- 15:13Speaker 2: like very much a huge tenet of the religion is
- 15:16Speaker 2: that suffering is the way to get into heaven, and
- 15:19Speaker 2: especially in plural marriage, like you have to suffer to
- 15:21Speaker 2: get into heaven. And so now she no longer believes
- 15:24Speaker 2: that now that she's hashtag worthied up and left Cody.
- 15:27Speaker 2: But maybe that was the reason why she stayed for
- 15:29Speaker 2: so long, like she just thought, oh, like this is just.
- 15:33Speaker 1: We like delineate from the time of the Catfish. Though
- 15:37Speaker 1: maybe up to the time of the Catfish she was
- 15:40Speaker 1: being long suffering and staying in this relationship thinking she
- 15:43Speaker 1: was doing it for Collob and to be in eternity
- 15:46Speaker 1: with this man. But once we get to the catfish
- 15:49Speaker 1: and you are willing to put a banana in your
- 15:52Speaker 1: mouth and leave people voice messages to this sam person
- 15:57Speaker 1: who were ultimately played. These messages were ultimately played on
- 16:00Speaker 1: the internet talking about how much you want him and
- 16:03Speaker 1: want the relationship, like at that point, though, are we
- 16:07Speaker 1: suffering or are you trying to get out? And then
- 16:11Speaker 1: it didn't work out, and so then you stayed.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Why probably out of shame and also probably out of
- 16:17Speaker 2: suffering too, Like she just thought like, oh, I really
- 16:20Speaker 2: fucked up, Like I need to prove my loyalty to
- 16:22Speaker 2: my man. That way I can still get to heaven
- 16:24Speaker 2: and COLDA.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Oh my god, the catfish was the closest you got
- 16:27Speaker 1: to waking the fuck up. I wish Sam was real.
- 16:30Speaker 1: I wish there was a man out there who lured
- 16:32Speaker 1: you out in the most terrible situation.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Seriously, if she would have been the first one to leave,
- 16:36Speaker 2: all the others would have left instantly after that, that.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Would happen when Christine left, everybody else did too.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Yep. Somebody had to do it first, and Mary was
- 16:44Speaker 2: not going to be the one. Yep. So yeah, this
- 16:46Speaker 2: whole conversation was kind of interesting. And then Mary brings
- 16:49Speaker 2: up that her and Cody visited Lacai thirteen years ago,
- 16:53Speaker 2: and this is where she tried to get him to
- 16:56Speaker 2: see her perspective on jealousy and plural marriage, where she
- 16:59Speaker 2: put the question like, hey, what if I was dating
- 17:02Speaker 2: somebody else, what if I had another man? And Cody
- 17:06Speaker 2: back then said, oh, the vulgarity of that, which just
- 17:09Speaker 2: absolutely disgusted me. I mean, I just can't even think
- 17:12Speaker 2: about you being with another man. And Mary does say
- 17:16Speaker 2: in her talking head in this episode that back then
- 17:18Speaker 2: Cody was trying to make her feel like she was
- 17:22Speaker 2: crazy for feeling jealousy, that it shouldn't even be a
- 17:26Speaker 2: thing that she feels. So now she's kind of like
- 17:29Speaker 2: looking back on her life and realizing all of these flags.
- 17:31Speaker 2: It's just it's frustrating that it's so late for everybody else.
- 17:35Speaker 2: That's like, we've been saying it since season one, we've
- 17:38Speaker 2: been seeing it for this time.
- 17:39Speaker 1: Yeah, but we didn't have the layer or the obfuscation
- 17:42Speaker 1: of the indoctrination that Mary has. But yes, I mean,
- 17:46Speaker 1: and she's articulating like, jealousy is a normal human emotion
- 17:50Speaker 1: and I am entitled to feel that. And then that
- 17:52Speaker 1: kind of segues into the conversation at the table about
- 17:56Speaker 1: polygamy in general, because one of those girls, and I
- 17:59Speaker 1: can't tell them part, when the blonde girl she had
- 18:03Speaker 1: come up in a polygamist family, and that's the girl
- 18:06Speaker 1: that Mary had babysat, so she was familiar with the culture.
- 18:10Speaker 1: The other woman had actually been in a polygamist marriage,
- 18:14Speaker 1: and Mary, at some point at the table, I'm just like,
- 18:17Speaker 1: oh God, But Mary says, I mean I think the
- 18:20Speaker 1: problem were the individuals. It was like me, it was Cody,
- 18:23Speaker 1: it was all of us. Like Robin actually said that,
- 18:26Speaker 1: yeah it was. And Mary was saying that she thinks
- 18:29Speaker 1: polygamy can work in the right situation.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Yeah. She was saying that her and Cody were like
- 18:35Speaker 2: bleach pneumonia, like when you put them together it doesn't
- 18:38Speaker 2: work or something, but that they're good on their own.
- 18:41Speaker 2: And the girls were like, no, then what are the
- 18:43Speaker 2: other wies?
- 18:44Speaker 1: What chemicals are They like, it's non higher concoction did
- 18:47Speaker 1: not work, And then the blonde girl is talking about
- 18:51Speaker 1: like how polygamy is so unfair, And then it puts
- 18:53Speaker 1: you into this kind of space of survival, like am
- 18:57Speaker 1: I getting as much as the other wife is getting?
- 19:00Speaker 1: Or am I getting the love that the other wife
- 19:03Speaker 1: is getting? And so you're constantly in this space of
- 19:06Speaker 1: wondering and wanting and needing, and survival doesn't equal happiness,
- 19:11Speaker 1: and in fact, survival can never be happiness, because can
- 19:15Speaker 1: you be content if you're in survival mode?
- 19:18Speaker 2: No? Probably not, not really, And so I thought that
- 19:21Speaker 2: was cool, Like I'm glad that these friends were telling
- 19:24Speaker 2: her that, and I hope they're like actual real friends
- 19:26Speaker 2: in Mary's life and hopefully they are a good support
- 19:29Speaker 2: system for that. Like if Mary's telling the truth that
- 19:32Speaker 2: these women were there for her during the spiritual release,
- 19:34Speaker 2: then that's great. But just this whole scene was just
- 19:36Speaker 2: kind of I don't know, it just felt really produced.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Well, I don't know if it was produced. I mean
- 19:41Speaker 1: I think there were some real things that came out.
- 19:43Speaker 1: I think Mary in this moment, she's saying, this is
- 19:45Speaker 1: six months after they have broken up, which I don't
- 19:48Speaker 1: think that's true, right, because this is then the next
- 19:51Speaker 1: anniversary after he broke up with her, so it's actually
- 19:54Speaker 1: been a full year. In this moment, she's still delulu though. Yeah,
- 19:58Speaker 1: she's still giving the energy in the vibe of like,
- 20:01Speaker 1: but if Cody wanted me back right now, if Cody
- 20:04Speaker 1: made some substantial changes, I would consider it. Like she
- 20:08Speaker 1: doesn't say that, but everybody can feel that, and her
- 20:11Speaker 1: friend is just like, like, I need you to not
- 20:13Speaker 1: be in that space, like stop let's just be grateful
- 20:16Speaker 1: for like the time you had with Cody, although why
- 20:18Speaker 1: would you be grateful, Like, at least be grateful, That's fine,
- 20:21Speaker 1: and then embrace where you are now and move forward
- 20:24Speaker 1: from that place, not needing to look back and identify
- 20:28Speaker 1: yourself with that situation that you were in because you
- 20:31Speaker 1: got to break free.
- 20:31Speaker 2: Oh my god, if I have to hear her say
- 20:33Speaker 2: one more time, there could have been a way for
- 20:35Speaker 2: us to make it work. I feel like me and
- 20:37Speaker 2: Cody could have made it work. I wanted to slap
- 20:39Speaker 2: her through the TV, like, please just stop saying that.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Stop even thinking that, because well.
- 20:43Speaker 1: You called her pathetic in the car, and you're like,
- 20:46Speaker 1: I'm not going to say that on the pod because
- 20:48Speaker 1: I know so many people root for Mary, but she's
- 20:50Speaker 1: so fucking pathetic, And like, tell the people how you feel,
- 20:53Speaker 1: because there are a lot of people out there that
- 20:55Speaker 1: agree with you it is pathetic. But a lot of us,
- 20:57Speaker 1: women and men, we get pathetic in really we do.
- 21:00Speaker 1: We don't know our own worth, which is what makes
- 21:03Speaker 1: it so ironic that one year later, well probably in
- 21:05Speaker 1: the same calendar year, she starts Worthy up. Yeah, and
- 21:09Speaker 1: and in this moment yet March or April of twenty
- 21:11Speaker 1: twenty three, she's still pathetic.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Oh totally yeah. And I say that as somebody who's
- 21:16Speaker 2: kind of a harder person, Like I'm just like.
- 21:17Speaker 1: Growl the fuck up, get your shit together.
- 21:20Speaker 2: That's the kind of person I am. I'm just like,
- 21:21Speaker 2: I don't I can't tolerate like pity all the time,
- 21:25Speaker 2: Like I can't tolerate people just be like, but it
- 21:28Speaker 2: could have worked, could I work? Shut my god, he
- 21:32Speaker 2: literally told you that he hated you and didn't care
- 21:34Speaker 2: if you're alive or dead.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Does not want to insert himself in any aspect of
- 21:38Speaker 1: your life, does not care if you're alive or dead.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Like I just want to shake her and be like,
- 21:41Speaker 2: That's why I didn't want to say she was pathetic.
- 21:42Speaker 1: But I do think, okay, that's fair. I think a
- 21:45Speaker 1: lot of people do. A lot of people like understand
- 21:47Speaker 1: the process and have been there, like we're all at
- 21:49Speaker 1: different spaces and places in the dumpster.
- 21:51Speaker 2: But I will say I am rooting for her. I'm
- 21:54Speaker 2: glad that she went to Stonehenge, Like I'm glad that
- 21:56Speaker 2: she's like living her best life. I hope she ends
- 21:58Speaker 2: up finding a mean or a nice butcher lives me
- 22:00Speaker 2: in on a motorcycle. I hope she finds love because
- 22:03Speaker 2: she does deserve that. She does deserve happiness and peace
- 22:06Speaker 2: in her life, and I do wish her the very best. Okay,
- 22:08Speaker 2: so nobody come for me, And Okay, I'm just saying,
- 22:11Speaker 2: you're so defensive.
- 22:12Speaker 1: If they don't agree with you, it's not the end
- 22:14Speaker 1: of the world. I'm just playing two fingers up, fucking
- 22:19Speaker 1: I'm just playing. Okay, all right.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Next thing we have is Christine going wedding dress shopping
- 22:25Speaker 2: for like what felt like an hour.
- 22:27Speaker 1: It was a long time. And so something positive I
- 22:32Speaker 1: can say about that was Christine is finally getting her
- 22:37Speaker 1: moment to be the special princess doll who gets to
- 22:41Speaker 1: go and try on all of these wedding dresses, like
- 22:43Speaker 1: she had to sit there and watch Robin do right right,
- 22:46Speaker 1: And she never got a chance to do that because
- 22:48Speaker 1: her mom sewed her terribly unfortunate dress, horrible dress, and
- 22:51Speaker 1: she married Cody, who looked like a hostage victim in
- 22:54Speaker 1: that one picture that they keep showing us their marriage. Huh.
- 22:58Speaker 1: So she finally gets this moment and we get to
- 23:00Speaker 1: share it with her. I thought that was really cool. Yeah, now,
- 23:03Speaker 1: but if you want to get down to the brass
- 23:05Speaker 1: tacks of the dresses, I'm like, they were They were
- 23:10Speaker 1: all bad. And this is the dress designer, This is
- 23:13Speaker 1: the women who designs these dresses. To helping and selecting
- 23:16Speaker 1: these dresses, this designer is terrible. No offense if you're watching,
- 23:19Speaker 1: I'm sure you're not, but like, bad, the designs are bad.
- 23:23Speaker 1: And just because Christine is a little fluffier like a
- 23:27Speaker 1: lot of us raccoons up in this stumpster, doesn't mean
- 23:29Speaker 1: we need to put her into something so straight and
- 23:32Speaker 1: dowdy and matronly and frankly ugly. All those dresses were terrible.
- 23:36Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm just gonna tell you how I feel.
- 23:38Speaker 2: Baby Christine wanted that though she wanted a form fit
- 23:41Speaker 2: in sexy deep kok.
- 23:43Speaker 1: There's different ways. So, I mean, you can be a
- 23:46Speaker 1: little fluffy and still get a waste, and you can
- 23:48Speaker 1: still have like tailored shoulders and you can like lift
- 23:52Speaker 1: up the fucking tits and stuff like all of that
- 23:54Speaker 1: was everything was bad. Everything was bad.
- 23:57Speaker 2: I mean, just like all of the dresses were just
- 23:59Speaker 2: really bad, especially the vagina dress. I'm like, why would
- 24:01Speaker 2: we even put that on? Oh my god? And then
- 24:03Speaker 2: we had to hear McKelty talk about it.
- 24:05Speaker 1: Michelty's got to be that Kelty's got to make herself
- 24:08Speaker 1: shut up.
- 24:09Speaker 2: But I'm like, I am very happy for Christine having
- 24:11Speaker 2: her princess moment. Everything's about her, that's great. She even
- 24:14Speaker 2: talks about it. She's like, it's like a party just
- 24:16Speaker 2: for me, and that's great. She deserves happiness, she deserves
- 24:19Speaker 2: to be with her Mia.
- 24:20Speaker 1: And then we have the obligatory conversations with both Christine
- 24:25Speaker 1: and Jeannelle about what happened when they got married. And
- 24:28Speaker 1: this is the recycled content over that literally happens every week,
- 24:32Speaker 1: everything that we've already seen. I mean, did you forget,
- 24:34Speaker 1: producers that we are deranged? And we watched every episode
- 24:38Speaker 1: of this show, so we have seen you tell us
- 24:40Speaker 1: this and show us these same pictures. Add in finitem,
- 24:43Speaker 1: you don't need to tell me again, honestly, that you
- 24:45Speaker 1: wore a green dress and that your mom married, when
- 24:47Speaker 1: you don't need to tell me Christine that you felt
- 24:50Speaker 1: terrible and Cody that you couldn't even get off work.
- 24:52Speaker 1: Nobody cares, literally nobody cares. Christine. Just be in this moment,
- 24:57Speaker 1: in your princess doll moment and love that without having
- 25:00Speaker 1: to constantly refer back to how it compares to Cody.
- 25:04Speaker 1: This is why people think you're still kind of stuck
- 25:07Speaker 1: on Cody. Oh yeah, I just think you're traumatized. Yeah,
- 25:11Speaker 1: and you're working through.
- 25:12Speaker 2: It, but like it's too much. Well maybe that's also
- 25:16Speaker 2: influenced by the producers, Like maybe the producers are asking
- 25:18Speaker 2: her and so that's why we're getting this all the time.
- 25:22Speaker 2: But the only thing that I thought was nice flashing
- 25:24Speaker 2: back was when Christine talked about how her mom couldn't
- 25:26Speaker 2: be at her first spiritual wedding. Yes, like her mom
- 25:29Speaker 2: made her that really awful, ugly dress, but she still
- 25:32Speaker 2: made it for her because that's her daughter and she
- 25:34Speaker 2: didn't get to be at her wedding, which sucks. So
- 25:37Speaker 2: it's cool that her mom gets to be a part
- 25:39Speaker 2: of this now or like she's at the wedding dress.
- 25:42Speaker 2: I thought that was really really sweet. All of the
- 25:44Speaker 2: dresses were absolutely gone awful. I hated how we had
- 25:48Speaker 2: to watch her try on so many of them, and
- 25:49Speaker 2: then at the end she's like, Oh, I'm gonna get
- 25:51Speaker 2: a custom dress and I'm like, oh, so that dress
- 25:53Speaker 2: that you wore that was super loose at your wedding
- 25:56Speaker 2: was custom.
- 25:57Speaker 1: Yes, that was like falling off like nip it in,
- 26:01Speaker 1: tuck it in, let's get a waste, let's get an ass,
- 26:04Speaker 1: let's get some tits well.
- 26:05Speaker 2: And honestly, that last dresses she tried on, that was
- 26:07Speaker 2: the deep plunge where her tits looked really good. I'm like,
- 26:10Speaker 2: why don't you go off go with that instead of
- 26:12Speaker 2: the other dress that you were going.
- 26:14Speaker 1: To Milan and New York City to go to fashion week, Eddie.
- 26:17Speaker 1: They don't know what's going on. She's never seen herself
- 26:20Speaker 1: like this. And fine, if you like it, I love it. Yeah,
- 26:25Speaker 1: end scene scene done.
- 26:27Speaker 2: Then we have a really terribly produced scene with Robin
- 26:31Speaker 2: and her groage goblins.
- 26:33Speaker 1: Sorry with Aurora, Oh my god? Should we going censored
- 26:38Speaker 1: for my inappropriate critique? Should we? Or should we share
- 26:41Speaker 1: it with the general pop?
- 26:41Speaker 2: Maybe?
- 26:42Speaker 1: She just Okay, I'm gonna throw you at I'm gonna
- 26:44Speaker 1: be super inappropriate. Yeah, and forgive me in advance. And
- 26:48Speaker 1: I'm just gonna tell you I don't care if you
- 26:49Speaker 1: think this is insensitive. I mean, I save it for
- 26:52Speaker 1: the comment section. I don't care. Yeah, but those dour children,
- 26:56Speaker 1: Oh my god, those beautiful young women who have some
- 27:00Speaker 1: how molded their face into the form of a frown.
- 27:04Speaker 1: These sour depressed pig Pen remember pig Pen from the
- 27:09Speaker 1: Snoopy comments. You always had that black cloud on this head.
- 27:12Speaker 1: It was dirt, but like these children, it's depression. Yeah,
- 27:14Speaker 1: this are demons, Like why are you so young and
- 27:18Speaker 1: beautiful and fucking rich? Brianna's frown to her jawlin, which
- 27:23Speaker 1: she inherited from Robin. I'll stop, I'll stop, but like,
- 27:27Speaker 1: oh my god, I don't want to be one of
- 27:29Speaker 1: these fucking men out there who are telling us to
- 27:32Speaker 1: smile more. But like, train your face a little different though,
- 27:34Speaker 1: because if you do what you're doing, Brianna, if you
- 27:37Speaker 1: continue to frown to such a degree, you're gonna freeze
- 27:39Speaker 1: in place. Muppets dude, Yes, Marionette lines all the way
- 27:44Speaker 1: down to your fuck You met me literally listen, it's
- 27:48Speaker 1: so bad. And I was just like, oh my god,
- 27:51Speaker 1: I feel for these children. I feel for these children
- 27:53Speaker 1: and a couple of things, and I know I'm going crazy,
- 27:55Speaker 1: but let me just say this. Okay, Cody, So you
- 27:57Speaker 1: want to kick out Garrison and Gabe as soon as
- 28:00Speaker 1: they turn eighteen During a time of COVID during the panorama,
- 28:06Speaker 1: and you want to kick them out and just be like,
- 28:08Speaker 1: go figure it out, fuck heads. Yep, but here's Aurora,
- 28:12Speaker 1: ra and Brianna one million years old and Dayton, although
- 28:16Speaker 1: I think he's in the RV. He's like, oh there's
- 28:18Speaker 1: John a property though. Yes, but they get to be
- 28:20Speaker 1: in the huff. How do you not resolve this for
- 28:23Speaker 1: the audience because you're so with all of your chest,
- 28:25Speaker 1: You're like, no, these boys should be out as soon
- 28:27Speaker 1: as you turn eighteen, go fucking figure it out. And
- 28:30Speaker 1: yet these kids, these girls are still haunting like vampires
- 28:35Speaker 1: the McMansion and we're not going to talk about it though.
- 28:37Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, I think that's totally driven by Robin. I
- 28:41Speaker 2: think that's one hundred percent driven by Robin because I've
- 28:45Speaker 2: seen that happen in my own family. Okay, don't to
- 28:47Speaker 2: to Oh I'm going on sensitive for this.
- 28:50Speaker 1: Okay, we are back from the uncensored portion of this
- 28:54Speaker 1: podcast again. If you want a little bit of that action,
- 28:56Speaker 1: you gotta go to patreon dot com slash reality TV Cringe,
- 28:59Speaker 1: where you can hear all of about Beatrice and her
- 29:02Speaker 1: storied past. Yes, but yeah, I'm just like, I don't
- 29:06Speaker 1: understand why nobody's talking about it. It's okay, Like, I
- 29:10Speaker 1: get it, people change their mind. Sure, people have different opinions.
- 29:14Speaker 2: Of economy is hard.
- 29:15Speaker 1: The economy's hard, I get it. Yeah, but address it
- 29:20Speaker 1: because just two seasons ago you were talking real hard
- 29:24Speaker 1: about your sons and your other kids, and now here
- 29:27Speaker 1: we are in a totally different situation, and we would
- 29:29Speaker 1: like to understand why. That's all I'm saying.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Oh, I guarantee all of the Brown siblings feel a
- 29:35Speaker 2: type of way about that shit. I'm sure they look
- 29:37Speaker 2: at Robin's kids and they're like, are you kidding me?
- 29:40Speaker 2: Boil this fuck spoiled as fuck.
- 29:45Speaker 1: So this conversation is about the girls wanting to go
- 29:49Speaker 1: to a church A load of bullshit. This was really stupid,
- 29:53Speaker 1: A load of bullshit. Was designed to make Robin look
- 29:57Speaker 1: like such a caring mother who only cares that her
- 29:59Speaker 1: dog have a relationship with God, which is a.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Load of crap because if you actually cared, you would
- 30:05Speaker 2: have found a church in Vegas, or you would have
- 30:06Speaker 2: found a church in Flagstaff. But you didn't. You didn't
- 30:09Speaker 2: make any effort to do so, you didn't actually try
- 30:12Speaker 2: to facilitate your daughter's relationships with God or any of
- 30:16Speaker 2: the Brown kids's relationships with God. So miss me to that?
- 30:19Speaker 2: And why are you trying to tell the audience that
- 30:22Speaker 2: you miss being a part of a church that not
- 30:24Speaker 2: only your husband has denounced, but the entire fucking family
- 30:27Speaker 2: has denounced. Like she's talking about missing.
- 30:29Speaker 1: The AUB because she's a liar. She's such ful, But
- 30:33Speaker 1: I mean, let's not forget how sanctimonious she was. Like
- 30:37Speaker 1: in Vegas when the kids were wanting to go to
- 30:39Speaker 1: some evangelical youth group or something just to kind of
- 30:42Speaker 1: hang out with people who wanted to know God a
- 30:45Speaker 1: little bit, and it was Robin Who's like, no, Like,
- 30:48Speaker 1: when you're eighteen years old, you guys can make your
- 30:50Speaker 1: own choice, but until then, you need to go to
- 30:52Speaker 1: the church that we want you to go to. Like
- 30:54Speaker 1: she was real concerned that everybody stayed I guess within
- 30:57Speaker 1: the AUB And Robin even ref first to what they
- 31:01Speaker 1: tried to do because they couldn't find a church, which
- 31:04Speaker 1: is have Cody be the priest of the family and
- 31:07Speaker 1: have church on Sundays, which she just kind of says, well, yeah,
- 31:10Speaker 1: but that didn't work out because I honestly think the
- 31:13Speaker 1: only time they ever had church was for the cameras.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Oh yeah, totally.
- 31:16Speaker 1: That Cody could put himself up there with the Bible
- 31:19Speaker 1: or the Pearls of Great Price and pretend to be
- 31:23Speaker 1: a preacher because he was trying to fucking find himself
- 31:25Speaker 1: within his monstrous ego. So these people have him into church.
- 31:29Speaker 1: They're not connected to God in my opinion. And Robin,
- 31:33Speaker 1: you are actually anti Christ. You're not the anti Christ,
- 31:37Speaker 1: I don't think. Well, we don't know, and we don't
- 31:40Speaker 1: actually know, but what you're doing to this entire family
- 31:43Speaker 1: is anti the spirit of Christ, which is to love
- 31:46Speaker 1: and to love someone as you love yourself, and to
- 31:50Speaker 1: share and be generous and to not let people go
- 31:52Speaker 1: without like in an RV on fucking leprotic coyote pass
- 31:56Speaker 1: while you live in this huge mansion and pretend you're
- 31:59Speaker 1: so busted it up about it.
- 32:00Speaker 2: I hate her, I hate her so much.
- 32:02Speaker 1: I hated this scene.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Oh, I hated I hated how she coached the girls
- 32:06Speaker 2: and what to say because you could tell and they're
- 32:09Speaker 2: both I'm sorry, but both these girls are so stupid.
- 32:12Speaker 2: Like Aurora started talking about her Buddhism class, and she
- 32:16Speaker 2: wanted to be a part of something like that, and
- 32:18Speaker 2: Robin tried to shift the conversation back to no, no, no,
- 32:21Speaker 2: we got to talk about a Mormon church because that's
- 32:22Speaker 2: what we need to be people.
- 32:23Speaker 1: At first she says, okay, so I get it, so
- 32:25Speaker 1: like you want some spiritual yeah, because she's trying because
- 32:27Speaker 1: a lot of people say Robin's a witch. A lot
- 32:30Speaker 1: of people say Robin's got that crystal angel wing tower.
- 32:34Speaker 1: And she's got all these like little artifacts and arcane
- 32:37Speaker 1: artifacts that maybe she's like wielding, she's spellbinding, she's doing
- 32:42Speaker 1: some double double toil in trouble on the entire family,
- 32:46Speaker 1: which I don't think so, but maybe she is a
- 32:48Speaker 1: little bit more metaphysical. Although no, because she's such a
- 32:51Speaker 1: terrible person.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Well, then she's not admitting to it. Because she's talking
- 32:54Speaker 2: about I want to make kids to have a relationship
- 32:57Speaker 2: with God. I missed my old church, I missed the
- 32:58Speaker 2: old idea.
- 32:59Speaker 1: Performing for us. And then you see how this is
- 33:01Speaker 1: actually impacting the kids because the kids have been I
- 33:05Speaker 1: want to use the word groomed, but not in the
- 33:07Speaker 1: terrible way, but like her kids have been primed and
- 33:10Speaker 1: groomed to be her little mouthpieces in this segment, and
- 33:14Speaker 1: it's really sad, and you can you can just feel
- 33:17Speaker 1: the vibe like of the whole house. It's like a spirit,
- 33:21Speaker 1: it's like an entity. Like these kids are not possessed,
- 33:24Speaker 1: but they're oppressed by the spirit of fucking Robin. I
- 33:27Speaker 1: feel bad for them. I want them to find some
- 33:30Speaker 1: fucking hot dude at the Assemblies of God or when
- 33:33Speaker 1: I found my share Listen, I went to the Assemblies
- 33:36Speaker 1: of God church. There's a lot of passion and charisma
- 33:39Speaker 1: at that church. I had my first boyfriend at the
- 33:42Speaker 1: Assembly of Bad Church. Oh, were you sucking at fucking Beadress?
- 33:48Speaker 1: Not necessarily, No, I'm just saying I want them to
- 33:54Speaker 1: find a young man who can get them out of
- 33:57Speaker 1: this house. I mean, you don't need a man to
- 33:58Speaker 1: do that. But they're so weak will oh and weak minded? Yeah,
- 34:01Speaker 1: because they've been impressed upon by this terrible, terrible woman
- 34:05Speaker 1: who has also impressed herself or as a pox visited
- 34:09Speaker 1: herself on to Cody, who's so dumb and impressionable. Why
- 34:13Speaker 1: he's doing all of these things is just the display
- 34:16Speaker 1: in the segment where she's like, holy fuck.
- 34:18Speaker 2: And I'm just like, I don't give a shit about
- 34:20Speaker 2: you and your kids. I don't give a shit about
- 34:22Speaker 2: your storyline. Get off my television. I would rather watch
- 34:27Speaker 2: more of Christine going wedding dress shopping than this. Yes, honestly,
- 34:31Speaker 2: oh any fucking day, this is not real.
- 34:34Speaker 1: No, this is not real.
- 34:36Speaker 2: But did you see Robin in her talking head with
- 34:38Speaker 2: her fake lashes? I did. She had big fake slashes.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Shadow eyeshadow was a little different, very dark, smoky look,
- 34:44Speaker 1: kind of a smoky look like she's trying trying to
- 34:46Speaker 1: do something out here is what did you make of that?
- 34:49Speaker 2: It was kind of ridiculous, kind of look like a clown,
- 34:52Speaker 2: Like you got your eyeliners very thick, and then you
- 34:54Speaker 2: got these big ass lashes just flamping around to kind
- 34:57Speaker 2: of hide your eyes a little bit. I'm like, what's
- 34:59Speaker 2: going on.
- 35:00Speaker 1: I think she's trying to be beautiful.
- 35:02Speaker 2: Well, she's not.
- 35:03Speaker 1: Well, I wouldn't go so far as to say that
- 35:07Speaker 1: if I'm not uncensored. If I'm not uncensored, this was
- 35:11Speaker 1: very disturbing. Yeah, and I didn't understand it. And I
- 35:14Speaker 1: just feel like Robin is like probably one of the
- 35:16Speaker 1: worst people on reality TV, and like how Christine was recently.
- 35:22Speaker 1: I guess nominated as Reality TV Person of the Year
- 35:25Speaker 1: or whatever last year, because like, of everything she's been,
- 35:28Speaker 1: Robin could be nominated for worst fucking razzy awful person
- 35:33Speaker 1: ever to be depicted on television.
- 35:35Speaker 2: Or ever in life period.
- 35:37Speaker 1: She's just a bad person.
- 35:39Speaker 2: She is a terrible and.
- 35:40Speaker 1: I feel sorry for Brianna and Aurora, and I wonder
- 35:44Speaker 1: what's going on with Dayton, and I just feel I
- 35:46Speaker 1: feel bad for these kids.
- 35:47Speaker 2: Oh me too. I mean, to have a mother like this,
- 35:50Speaker 2: I mean she is probably controlling the fuck out of
- 35:52Speaker 2: all of them, because I saw people on Reddit talking
- 35:54Speaker 2: about like how weird this conversation was, even if it
- 35:56Speaker 2: wasn't fake, Like why are your adult children coming to
- 35:59Speaker 2: talk to you? And also kind of ask you permission
- 36:02Speaker 2: to look for a church or a boy?
- 36:05Speaker 1: Right right?
- 36:06Speaker 2: Like what are you?
- 36:06Speaker 1: Well? I do not think they need to go to
- 36:08Speaker 1: church to find a boy, but like, go to church
- 36:10Speaker 1: and everything else will flow from that. Okay, Robin, Okay,
- 36:13Speaker 1: how old were you again when you got with David Jessup?
- 36:16Speaker 1: Weren't you like eighteen or nineteen or whatever? Spread your
- 36:19Speaker 1: leg some man, were you even married or whatever?
- 36:22Speaker 3: Right?
- 36:23Speaker 1: But you don't want your kids to even date how
- 36:24Speaker 1: old is a uror she's like twenty four or something
- 36:27Speaker 1: like that. She she could have a boyfriend, or.
- 36:29Speaker 2: Even with you and Coony. I'm like, were you only
- 36:31Speaker 2: an a, you would be just of like cod Oh.
- 36:33Speaker 1: Come on kissing on Cody while Christine's literally giving bird
- 36:37Speaker 1: living and now you want to be all chased for
- 36:39Speaker 1: your daughters. Miss me with that, miss me with that shit,
- 36:43Speaker 1: miss me with it.
- 36:44Speaker 2: And then the last scene of this episode was Christine
- 36:47Speaker 2: and David going cake cake tasting, which was very pooring.
- 36:52Speaker 1: I don't care, I mean about any of it. Was
- 36:54Speaker 1: there anything here?
- 36:56Speaker 2: No, except for truly talking about getting a boob cake,
- 36:59Speaker 2: and then Christine getting mad at her being inappropriate. She's like,
- 37:04Speaker 2: oh my god, stop we're eating cake, Like, stop being mad.
- 37:08Speaker 2: I think she's playing yeah, And then she's talking about
- 37:10Speaker 2: naked cakes with David.
- 37:12Speaker 1: Who cares so yeah, And again here comes Janelle with
- 37:16Speaker 1: her talking head. Well we didn't have cake. I don't care,
- 37:20Speaker 1: nobody cares. We don't want to hear any more about this.
- 37:23Speaker 1: I've reached my saturation level. This entire family. Bring me
- 37:27Speaker 1: new information, please, I don't want to see the same pictures.
- 37:29Speaker 2: Oh, give me some energy. Honestly. And in the final
- 37:34Speaker 2: scene was Cody and his talking head talking about Christine
- 37:38Speaker 2: in which she told he says it this way. He says,
- 37:42Speaker 2: Christine told her kids, I mean our kids and Janelle's kids,
- 37:48Speaker 2: that I found my soulmate with Robin, and that Christine
- 37:54Speaker 2: needed to be free to find her soulmate. And Cody
- 37:57Speaker 2: says that made him mad at first, but now his
- 38:00Speaker 2: time has gone on, he's starting to realize that there
- 38:03Speaker 2: was some truth to it and that Christine was right,
- 38:05Speaker 2: which I thought was an interesting comment from him, in
- 38:07Speaker 2: an interesting admission. But he's still separating himself from his
- 38:12Speaker 2: literal children and saying that it's Christine's children and Janelle's children.
- 38:15Speaker 1: And I don't know if it was this episode or
- 38:18Speaker 1: last week's episode. I was in a haze, but I
- 38:20Speaker 1: remember Janelle saying ninety to ninety five percent of his
- 38:24Speaker 1: children are estranged from him yep, And I'm like, oh,
- 38:27Speaker 1: that means Leon Yep is definitely a strange The only
- 38:31Speaker 1: kids that are not estranged from him are the kids
- 38:33Speaker 1: that are living in this house and that can't get
- 38:35Speaker 1: out because it's a wartex of it, a magnetic wartex
- 38:38Speaker 1: of doom.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Yeah, And then we had the preview for next week,
- 38:42Speaker 2: which I was hoping it was going to be the
- 38:44Speaker 2: season finale, but it's not.
- 38:45Speaker 1: Okay. So yeah, because last year we only had fourteen
- 38:48Speaker 1: episodes and we had fortel alls and.
- 38:50Speaker 2: A bunch of look backs and they look back and
- 38:52Speaker 2: then the specials, and.
- 38:53Speaker 1: I was hoping we'd only have fourteen this season. But
- 38:57Speaker 1: I think because last season was so popular learn so
- 39:00Speaker 1: many people watched, they're like, oh, let's do twenty season.
- 39:02Speaker 1: Let's do it twenty episodes.
- 39:04Speaker 2: What's gonna happen? And I honestly think we're gonna get
- 39:07Speaker 2: like a honeymoon special for Christine. I feel like we're
- 39:09Speaker 2: gonna get that.
- 39:09Speaker 1: We can't. She just went she literally just went on
- 39:12Speaker 1: our honeymoon last month.
- 39:13Speaker 2: Yeah, so and TLC wasn't fucking filming Sister arrives right then.
- 39:17Speaker 2: So yeah, they're probably gonna go fly to Europe. And
- 39:19Speaker 2: I bet you with how much Christine and David content
- 39:23Speaker 2: we've seen this season, I just it's either gonna be
- 39:26Speaker 2: like a honeymoon special or it's gonna be like where
- 39:28Speaker 2: are they now? Like look at us living together and
- 39:31Speaker 2: all this stuff for bare right, I know. But anyway,
- 39:36Speaker 2: so the preview for next week is Christine's engagement party.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Peyton makes a snide comment about how she's only been
- 39:44Speaker 2: dating up.
- 39:44Speaker 1: Who cares, You've said the same thing every time you've
- 39:47Speaker 1: been on camera. We understand it's quick, who.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Cares, it's fast, We get it. Robin and Cody go
- 39:51Speaker 2: on a stupid fucking date and Cody asks her something like,
- 39:55Speaker 2: you know, I just want to make sure that God's
- 39:57Speaker 2: my wingman and that nobody's gonna take you away from me.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Like all of this was designed in such a way
- 40:03Speaker 1: to bring us together to be in this moment now,
- 40:05Speaker 1: just me and you. I'm telling you. They are setting
- 40:08Speaker 1: up a vow renewal because Robin knows that Christine is
- 40:13Speaker 1: having this tricked out, beautiful wedding where everybody attends, gorgeous money,
- 40:19Speaker 1: many money. TLC probably paid for a lot of that,
- 40:22Speaker 1: if not all of that, And so Robin's gonna want
- 40:25Speaker 1: the same thing. And because they're now reclassifying, going from
- 40:29Speaker 1: polygamy to monogamy, it's going to warrant having an entirely
- 40:32Speaker 1: new experience and they are going to subject us to that,
- 40:38Speaker 1: and I'm filled with hate about it. I'm filled with
- 40:42Speaker 1: rage about it. I can't deal with Madeline Cohn. I
- 40:45Speaker 1: cannot deal with I'm filled with upset about it because
- 40:48Speaker 1: I don't I don't want it. No, when can we
- 40:50Speaker 1: fire them? When can we fire them? Why? We don't
- 40:56Speaker 1: need them. We can have a lot of fun with
- 40:58Speaker 1: everybody else, especially if they start talking and telling the truth.
- 41:01Speaker 1: That would be a great show. We don't need that yet.
- 41:04Speaker 2: But maybe they're making a plea to TLC because they're like,
- 41:06Speaker 2: we're so broke and we just spent two point one
- 41:08Speaker 2: million dollars on a new McMansion and we need the
- 41:11Speaker 2: TLC money. So let's just do any scenes and any
- 41:14Speaker 2: and all scenes we can do. So let's do avout renewal.
- 41:18Speaker 2: I'm telling you, I think you. I think you're called
- 41:21Speaker 2: it a long time ago. Goddamn Robin.
- 41:23Speaker 1: Robin cannot rest. Oh, no way until she's at the top.
- 41:26Speaker 2: No, she's got to have a more beautiful wedding.
- 41:29Speaker 3: Yep.
- 41:29Speaker 2: And then we have Mary talking to another weird friend
- 41:32Speaker 2: that we've never seen before. We did.
- 41:33Speaker 1: She was the friend that she visited at the beginning
- 41:35Speaker 1: of this season. She's in Vegas. She's pretty was she.
- 41:37Speaker 2: I literally cannot keep it straight honestly. But anyway, so
- 41:41Speaker 2: she's talking with this friend, she calls Cody a dumbass
- 41:44Speaker 2: for thinking that she would ever stay with him, which
- 41:46Speaker 2: just annoys me because I'm like, in this episode, you're
- 41:50Speaker 2: literally talking about how there's a way that your marriage
- 41:52Speaker 2: could have worked with it. Yeah, shut up, now you're
- 41:54Speaker 2: gonna call him dumbass.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Let's remember in this episode when she sat lokuy lay Hi,
- 42:01Speaker 1: she's probably sixty pounds heavier than she is in the
- 42:04Speaker 1: talking Head when she's wearing the camel blazer. Yeah, and
- 42:08Speaker 1: she's talking about he's being a dumbass. So, like a
- 42:10Speaker 1: lot of time has passed. Sure, she's in a different
- 42:13Speaker 1: vibratory state, she's to resonate in at a different level.
- 42:19Speaker 1: But I'm kind of sick of her. I'm kind of
- 42:21Speaker 1: sick of all.
- 42:22Speaker 2: I know.
- 42:25Speaker 1: It's not that they don't like it, Yeah, it's just
- 42:27Speaker 1: that I don't like it.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Well, I just don't like that it's so produced and
- 42:32Speaker 2: it's like all the same old footage and we're bopping
- 42:35Speaker 2: around time. It just could be so much better if
- 42:38Speaker 2: they were all just honest and they were just talking
- 42:40Speaker 2: shit and everything, that would be so great. And if
- 42:43Speaker 2: we just never had a Seagodie and Robin ever again,
- 42:46Speaker 2: it'd be so awesome.
- 42:46Speaker 1: It's like the problem with Hollywood right now. They just
- 42:49Speaker 1: keep regurgitating and remaking the same stupid fucking movies and
- 42:55Speaker 1: like building upon franchises that are so played out in
- 42:58Speaker 1: superheroes that nobody cares about, and now it's losing money
- 43:01Speaker 1: because we're all over it. It's like that's what's happening
- 43:04Speaker 1: in reality television as well. What we need is a disruptor.
- 43:07Speaker 1: We need somebody to come in and fucking innovate and
- 43:10Speaker 1: require I require you to tell the truth. If I
- 43:14Speaker 1: even sniff that you're lying, bit, you're out of here.
- 43:17Speaker 1: If you want to stalk off Cody Brown with your
- 43:19Speaker 1: curls in the wind, get the fuck out.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Oh my god. He was spotted though at a gun
- 43:24Speaker 2: show recently on Reddy. People were taking a lot of
- 43:29Speaker 2: photos of him because he's so fucking bald and his
- 43:32Speaker 2: curls just keep shrinking up his head. Yeah, and he's
- 43:34Speaker 2: got this pot belly and he's sitting there with this
- 43:37Speaker 2: table and I guess he's selling guns again. I thought
- 43:39Speaker 2: he wasn't allowed.
- 43:40Speaker 1: To, or there was some rumor that he was dinged
- 43:45Speaker 1: because he was selling inappropriate firearm pieces or something, and
- 43:51Speaker 1: so maybe he lost his license for something, but that
- 43:54Speaker 1: doesn't necessarily mean he can't sell other things. But then
- 43:56Speaker 1: that's a rumor. I don't know. Nobody really knows. Yeah,
- 43:58Speaker 1: I don't know if he's at a gun show. Oh,
- 44:00Speaker 1: he's still in the biz.
- 44:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but the photos are on Reddit and they're hilarious
- 44:03Speaker 2: because he just looks so bad.
- 44:05Speaker 1: And he knows every time he leaves the house somebody's
- 44:07Speaker 1: gonna be taking a picture of him.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Well, and there's one photo that somebody took of him,
- 44:10Speaker 2: like directly at him, like just obvious, and he looked
- 44:15Speaker 2: so pissed at the camera person. And his nose, the
- 44:19Speaker 2: way his nose crinkles looks like a dick. It's really awesome.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Christine too, Yeah, it's really unfortunate. Well they are kind
- 44:26Speaker 2: of cousins, right.
- 44:26Speaker 1: A little bit. Yeah, they related, they related anyway. That
- 44:31Speaker 1: was so fun. Yeah. Again, sorry that I wasn't here
- 44:34Speaker 1: last week with Beatrice. I wanted to be here, but
- 44:37Speaker 1: I was like, I can't do it. I just she
- 44:39Speaker 1: was very sick. You just can't do it. Yeah, But
- 44:41Speaker 1: we're here this week and we're having a lot of fun.
- 44:43Speaker 1: By the way, now, we had been talking for quite
- 44:46Speaker 1: some time about how excited we were Twitter paid about
- 44:50Speaker 1: ninety Day Fiance the last resort. Yeah, and apparently Beatrice
- 44:54Speaker 1: has been receiving your dms. Like, what's going on with that? People?
- 44:57Speaker 1: It started already, And here's the thing, I don't want
- 45:00Speaker 1: to do it. Here's why, fucking TLC man, TLC ninety
- 45:07Speaker 1: Day Fiance, the entire franchise is the most popular, highly
- 45:12Speaker 1: rated franchise or show on TLC and all of its
- 45:17Speaker 1: permutations and various fucking presentations thereof. So we've got the
- 45:22Speaker 1: last resort, we've got before the ninety days, we've got
- 45:25Speaker 1: happily ever after, like all the fucking franchises are the
- 45:28Speaker 1: highest rated programs on TLC, and so TLC I think
- 45:33Speaker 1: is invested in creating more time for this particular content,
- 45:37Speaker 1: which is great. Some of it I think is really good.
- 45:40Speaker 1: A lot of the other shit is played out. I'm
- 45:43Speaker 1: sick of Big Ed and Angela d and my count
- 45:47Speaker 1: I'm sick of it. Yeah, But so they're continuing to
- 45:50Speaker 1: carve out time in the lineup for ninety Day Fiance,
- 45:53Speaker 1: And so what made the last resort for us. Really
- 45:56Speaker 1: great last year was that it was only an hour
- 45:59Speaker 1: long and we got the app bitches, it's so easy,
- 46:02Speaker 1: forty two minutes, bought a boom, Right, we watch it,
- 46:06Speaker 1: we take a couple of notes. It's great, come on here,
- 46:08Speaker 1: we have a little combo. Right, But then they bumped
- 46:10Speaker 1: it up to two fucking hours.
- 46:12Speaker 2: Fucking hours.
- 46:13Speaker 1: You don't think I got a life, d dude, you
- 46:16Speaker 1: don't think I got a mean I got a min Yeah,
- 46:19Speaker 1: I got a needs me. Yeah you have a full
- 46:22Speaker 1: time job yet and a three cats, a dog, and yeah,
- 46:26Speaker 1: a whole house and everything.
- 46:27Speaker 2: I've got a whole life, man.
- 46:29Speaker 1: And so for us, like we only get together one
- 46:32Speaker 1: night a week to record what we can record, and
- 46:35Speaker 1: so it's just so much.
- 46:37Speaker 2: It's a lot, and it's like in the evenings after
- 46:39Speaker 2: I get off of work, and like we have to
- 46:41Speaker 2: watch these beforehand and take the notes and all this stuff,
- 46:44Speaker 2: and it's just like I don't really want to watch
- 46:46Speaker 2: two hours of episode. I mean, because the thing with
- 46:50Speaker 2: Ninety Day Fiance Last Resort that was so cool last
- 46:54Speaker 2: year was that it was like new content every episode. Yeah,
- 46:56Speaker 2: we weren't like filling it up with crap. We weren't
- 46:59Speaker 2: like stuck in the same scene for weeks what sometimes
- 47:02Speaker 2: we were, but it was still entertaining. But now that
- 47:05Speaker 2: it's two hours long, I just know it's gonna be
- 47:08Speaker 2: the same repetitive shit every single time.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Don't get me wrong. I think that it's supposed to
- 47:13Speaker 1: be really entertaining. And I know my thoughts. Potato Girl,
- 47:15Speaker 1: who we love, she's covering it, and if you want
- 47:17Speaker 1: some coverage on it, you should still watch all my thoughts. Yeahs,
- 47:21Speaker 1: And it looks like it's lit, it looks like it's fun,
- 47:23Speaker 1: but it's just like, oh my god, I don't have that.
- 47:25Speaker 1: I don't have that kind of time, and I'm already
- 47:27Speaker 1: emotionally wrapped up and invested in the Browns. Yeah, I
- 47:31Speaker 1: don't know. I don't have the bandwidth right now. So
- 47:34Speaker 1: we're definitely taking it back. Yeah, sorry about that. I
- 47:38Speaker 1: don't I don't think we can do it.
- 47:39Speaker 2: I'm sure you guys are gonna be disappointed, but I.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Mean I can't help that. I mean, you can't always
- 47:44Speaker 1: get what you want, but if you try, sometimes you
- 47:46Speaker 1: get what you need, but just not from us, not
- 47:49Speaker 1: with that. Yeah, So we're presently having conversations about what
- 47:54Speaker 1: we're gonna pick up probably January or February in the
- 47:57Speaker 1: various lineups. What we're gonna cover because what we're waiting
- 47:59Speaker 1: for or is The Valley on Bravo, which by the way,
- 48:02Speaker 1: is lit oh and so much fun and Jax Taylor
- 48:05Speaker 1: has literally lost his Shoh my god, I'm so excited,
- 48:08Speaker 1: and everybody's divorcing and it's gonna be fantastic. So we're
- 48:12Speaker 1: waiting for that, but that's not until spring twenty twenty five.
- 48:15Speaker 2: Right, so maybe something will come up, or maybe we'll
- 48:17Speaker 2: go into the archives. You cover something I don't know.
- 48:21Speaker 1: We don't know, but like this podcast like has to
- 48:23Speaker 1: conform to our organic existence. So what we offer we
- 48:27Speaker 1: offer with love and then anything extra, honey, we put
- 48:31Speaker 1: it on the Patreon.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Oh for sure.
- 48:33Speaker 1: Like this month we've got my husband's not gay.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Oh my god, but a bunch of Mormon men that
- 48:38Speaker 2: are totally gay, so fucking gay.
- 48:40Speaker 1: It was really great. We reacted to that. We've got
- 48:42Speaker 1: some Christmas stuff coming up, We're doing a vision board
- 48:44Speaker 1: for New Year's and then starting next year we're going
- 48:47Speaker 1: to be reacting and recapping other shows. So the extra
- 48:52Speaker 1: content like that's gonna have to go on Patreon because
- 48:55Speaker 1: she's a busy bitch. She'll got time for her mom
- 48:57Speaker 1: in law. I can't drag her. Are here to cover
- 49:00Speaker 1: this s So just heads up, we're not doing the
- 49:03Speaker 1: last resort we apologize for post. Let's put that to bed.

- 49:59Speaker 1: So that's going to be late this week. Heads up,
- 50:02Speaker 1: we might we might not be able to handle all
