Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you, thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Ryan Air on Air with a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, I had a little bit of that
- 0:11Speaker 1: rain earlier in the week and then clouds this morning,
- 0:14Speaker 1: sunshine later hides in the umper seventies, a little bit
- 0:17Speaker 1: cooler this weekend. I mean, they had a frost storm
- 0:21Speaker 1: on the East coast and colding it lands all the
- 0:23Speaker 1: way up obviously to the northeast. But we're gonna look
- 0:25Speaker 1: at highs in the umper sixties and that's cold for
- 0:27Speaker 1: this time of year. Maybe some showers as you get
- 0:32Speaker 1: in from the beach. We are paying your bills starting
- 0:35Speaker 1: next and then that's gonna have an all day and
- 0:39Speaker 1: as we roll into the weekend. Siciny Ton, did you
- 0:42Speaker 1: know that there was a best time to drink alcohol? One?
- 0:47Speaker 3: Yes, I know that was like all the time.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Do you know the best time to drink it? I
- 0:51Speaker 1: mean you don't have to work the next day, probably,
- 0:53Speaker 1: but rather than that the time I.
- 0:55Speaker 2: Don't know, is it like right around like five six,
- 0:58Speaker 2: like right when you get off work.
- 0:59Speaker 1: Maybe, well it's more about when you're less likely to
- 1:02Speaker 1: get the buzz, but you know some people want it
- 1:05Speaker 1: for the buzz, so you're less likely to get drunk
- 1:07Speaker 1: if you drink at this time. If that's interesting. Okay,
- 1:10Speaker 1: so that's coming up me just a little bit free
- 1:11Speaker 1: gas this morning all day. That's going to be on
- 1:15Speaker 1: the air all day. We'll have it every hour. That's
- 1:17Speaker 1: happening with everybody that you'll hear on Kiss, but each
- 1:19Speaker 1: day this morning for us in the morning is in
- 1:21Speaker 1: Downy Live with free gas. Are you excited about the weekend.
- 1:26Speaker 2: I'm excited about the weekend. Yes, I'm gonna be celebrating
- 1:30Speaker 2: on Maxim's birthday on Sunday.
- 1:32Speaker 1: Oh boy, what's the big how old? How many?
- 1:35Speaker 2: The twins are eight? And they're doing separate birthday parties
- 1:38Speaker 2: this year.
- 1:39Speaker 1: It should be separate.
- 1:40Speaker 4: I know.
- 1:40Speaker 3: It's about time.
- 1:41Speaker 2: So he's having one actually with one of his buddies
- 1:43Speaker 2: and it's just boys and they're all going rock climbing.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, my niece needs to go. My niece
- 1:48Speaker 1: is into rock climbing too. Right now to come look out.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Are they climbing real rock climbing or like that little
- 1:53Speaker 1: wall it's like a wall, it's purple rocks, right exactly.
- 1:58Speaker 1: That's more the right speed. Mikayla, you are not sleeping
- 2:02Speaker 1: because of your neighbor's dogs. Let's get into it right now.
- 2:05Speaker 1: What is wrong with your neighbors dogs? They're barking too late?
- 2:08Speaker 1: What are they barking about.
- 2:10Speaker 3: Yeah, so there's two of them.
- 2:11Speaker 5: One's a bigger dog, one's a small one, and it
- 2:14Speaker 5: starts at like eight pm and they just bark NonStop.
- 2:17Speaker 5: They'll take like ten minute breaks and then keep barking,
- 2:20Speaker 5: and I feel bad for them big dogs they're outside.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Well, first of all, we're sorry about that, because I've
- 2:29Speaker 1: learned in life as I've not slept for a decade
- 2:32Speaker 1: or so, it really it really wears you down. So
- 2:37Speaker 1: that's one thing. The second thing is I don't know
- 2:40Speaker 1: about these neighbors. Forget that the dogs, it's not their fault.
- 2:44Speaker 1: I feel bad for the dogs, of course, but these neighbors.
- 2:47Speaker 1: How are these neighbors not so kind to their dogs
- 2:49Speaker 1: and also to their neighbors very annoying? Is there a
- 2:52Speaker 1: way to address it?
- 2:53Speaker 5: I wonder if they just don't know, because maybe they're
- 2:55Speaker 5: not home and they think just leaving the dogs out
- 2:57Speaker 5: like that way they can go to the bathroom and
- 2:59Speaker 5: just hang out. Okay, get so, I'm like, maybe they
- 3:01Speaker 5: don't know they're barking.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Yeah, the note?
- 3:03Speaker 1: Is there a notes we should leave on the door
- 3:05Speaker 1: or the mailbox. Maybe.
- 3:07Speaker 3: I don't think there's anything wrong about somebody's dog. That's
- 3:10Speaker 3: like leaving a note about somebody's crying baby.
- 3:12Speaker 1: Well, not a note.
- 3:13Speaker 2: But like our neighbors told us, when Dakota got really
- 3:16Speaker 2: old and she would use the doggy door to go
- 3:18Speaker 2: out and go potty, she would forget how to use
- 3:20Speaker 2: it to come back inside the house, so then she
- 3:21Speaker 2: would just stand out there and bark when we weren't home.
- 3:24Speaker 2: And so the neighbors had to tell us because we
- 3:26Speaker 2: had no idea, and so then basically we had to
- 3:28Speaker 2: cut off the We got to cut off she couldn't
- 3:30Speaker 2: use the dog door anymore.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Again, Mikayla, this is all about approach. Yeah, communication approach.
- 3:36Speaker 1: This from the standpoint of, Hey, you probably don't know
- 3:41Speaker 1: your dogs, are you know, needing your attention. I just
- 3:44Speaker 1: wanted to let you know, because I'm a dog lover
- 3:47Speaker 1: and they need to, you know, get some attention for something.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Forget about Yeah, they don't care, you're not sleeping. We
- 3:53Speaker 1: got to make it about the dogs and their parents.
- 3:56Speaker 1: That's a good.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Point if you if you don't want to deal with
- 3:59Speaker 3: people in general. I just I'm saying you don't want
- 4:02Speaker 3: to have this awkward conversation with your neighbors. I highly
- 4:05Speaker 3: suggest ear plugs and brown noise work wonders.
- 4:09Speaker 1: I think letting the owners know about the dogs before
- 4:11Speaker 1: you get into ear plugs and brown noise as a
- 4:13Speaker 1: single person trying to get a guy is the right note.
- 4:17Speaker 1: And brown noise and not to the person you meet
- 4:20Speaker 1: on hims when you first meet them. I'm with Ryan
- 4:22Speaker 1: on that.
- 4:23Speaker 3: And then you introduce your new guide to earplugs.
- 4:27Speaker 1: What's the sound of that appliance I'm hearing, Oh, that's
- 4:29Speaker 1: my brown noise. No, thank you. I'd rather have the
- 4:33Speaker 1: dogs barking coming up next. Everything you know, you know,
- 4:39Speaker 1: everything that is a crisis. Tanya's solution is brown noise,
- 4:44Speaker 1: nasal tape or mouth tape. Right, it's always just take no,
- 4:51Speaker 1: that's we're talking about barking dogs. It's on and kiss FM.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I love these stories. I I did this to uh,
- 4:57Speaker 1: someone I worked with. I was leaving the show the
- 5:00Speaker 1: other day and I waved across the parking lot to
- 5:03Speaker 1: somebody who was not waving at me, but I waved
- 5:06Speaker 1: and then I was looking around immediately to see if
- 5:07Speaker 1: other people saw me wave at that person and clock
- 5:10Speaker 1: that they didn't wave back, and I was not caught.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I felt rejected, but I was not caught. It's all
- 5:15Speaker 1: about whether or not somebody else saw you not being
- 5:18Speaker 1: waved back at or miswaving. Tell you what happened with you.
- 5:22Speaker 3: Mine is so cringe because I was on a triple date.
- 5:25Speaker 3: So it's six of us, okay, sitting in like a booth,
- 5:28Speaker 3: so basically like in a U shape, so we're all
- 5:30Speaker 3: very close, and this guy walks over to and it's
- 5:34Speaker 3: two of my husband's like best friends he's had forever.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Okay walks over. This guy walks over and he's talking
- 5:39Speaker 3: to one of the guys at the table, and I
- 5:40Speaker 3: think this is somebody that I went to college with.
- 5:43Speaker 3: So I pull my head over and I'm like, excuse me,
- 5:49Speaker 3: excuse me, and he turns his head and he's like hey,
- 5:53Speaker 3: And then he turned his head and I was like,
- 5:55Speaker 3: oh wait, I'm so sorry. I thought you were somebody
- 5:57Speaker 3: else and he it was so.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Like awkward, where did you think it was?
- 6:02Speaker 3: I thought it was my friend Tommy Bruce that I've
- 6:04Speaker 3: known since college.
- 6:05Speaker 1: Hold everything hold no weather. No, it doesn't matter where
- 6:10Speaker 1: it goes, because from the point of the way you said,
- 6:12Speaker 1: excuse me, yes, I don't care Tommy Bruce or Tommy
- 6:17Speaker 1: Lee or Tommy Lee Jones or Tommy Bahama. Nobody wants
- 6:22Speaker 1: to hear anybody with that cringey.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Excuse me, Why did you say it like that? Because
- 6:27Speaker 3: we have so much history, like going.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Back, don't ever say in whatever tone that was anything. No,
- 6:34Speaker 1: it was so bad.
- 6:36Speaker 3: No, and it gets worse because it recognized you. I'd
- 6:38Speaker 3: pull up my phone to try and show them pictures
- 6:41Speaker 3: of my friend to like really he's like hot and
- 6:43Speaker 3: like good looking, because then I was like I don't
- 6:45Speaker 3: want to you know what I mean, Like I was like,
- 6:46Speaker 3: look how hot like Tommy is.
- 6:48Speaker 1: But it was like a.
- 6:48Speaker 3: Photo that he just had with his hair like a
- 6:50Speaker 3: hat on. It was so bad. I just kept digging
- 6:53Speaker 3: the hole and I was emotional x lax kicking in.
- 6:56Speaker 1: It was it was just like just keeps going.
- 6:59Speaker 3: Keeps going. It so and then I felt I had
- 7:01Speaker 3: to tell everybody at the table about my history with him.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Okay, Tonya, Yeah, it was bad. Let's start with what
- 7:08Speaker 1: we can fix, and that is what you say. Excuse me,
- 7:10Speaker 1: excuse me, because that's the worst I've ever heard anyone say.
- 7:14Speaker 1: It been so repelling because I haven't.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Seen him in so long. I'm so excited.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Don't the next thing, you'll show me pictures of the
- 7:23Speaker 1: person he thought it was. I understand. I think Sistney
- 7:26Speaker 1: will help me on this, but it's just it's the
- 7:28Speaker 1: tone which shock. I was in shock too. I would run,
- 7:33Speaker 1: I would I would put on nose tape and I
- 7:36Speaker 1: tape for that.
- 7:37Speaker 3: Yeah, it was really bad.
- 7:38Speaker 1: No matter what, Tommy, Tommy, he'll figure I don't know
- 7:40Speaker 1: who it is. Yeah, coming up next, even at Tommy's burger,
- 7:46Speaker 1: don't say that, even if you need to order. Excuse me,
- 7:50Speaker 1: I know so bad. The best time to drink alcohol
- 7:55Speaker 1: now actually now, but it is the best time to
- 7:58Speaker 1: drink alcohol to help your body. Pross hays it better
- 8:00Speaker 1: so you don't get drunk. I'm gonn tall you what
- 8:01Speaker 1: that is? Next one of two point seven kiss FM.
- 8:04Speaker 1: All right, so the quote of the day, and here's
- 8:06Speaker 1: something I read. If you're hanging out this weekend, studies
- 8:09Speaker 1: said that if you drink at this time, you're less
- 8:11Speaker 1: likely to be affected by the alcohol. And that is
- 8:13Speaker 1: from seven to eight pm. Seven P to eight p.
- 8:16Speaker 1: This is when Wheel of Fortune is on.
- 8:19Speaker 3: I actually I think I drink alcohol.
- 8:21Speaker 1: I'm watching Wheel of Fortune. Yeah, that's right. The next day,
- 8:25Speaker 1: that's it. There you go. It's when enzymes in the
- 8:28Speaker 1: liver responsible for breaking down alcohol the most concentrated and effective.
- 8:33Speaker 1: So seven to eight and then if you go past
- 8:35Speaker 1: eight you're on your own. Today's quote, A happy marriage
- 8:40Speaker 1: is the union of two good forgivers.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Wow, that's true.
- 8:47Speaker 1: True one at two point seven kiss event from what
- 8:50Speaker 1: you tell me it's true?
- 8:51Speaker 3: Is like true?
- 8:52Speaker 1: One of two point seven Kiss FM. Ej'son Downy with
- 8:55Speaker 1: free gas, Sisney, what are the headline Kiss FM headlines?
- 8:59Speaker 2: But Sissy, well, you know a cowtrans vehicle went up
- 9:02Speaker 2: in flames, causing an explosion and completely shutting down the
- 9:05Speaker 2: one ten in Carson overnight. All lanes have since reopened.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Disneyland of Visitors can now opt out of the park's
- 9:13Speaker 2: facial recognition security if they don't want their photo taken.
- 9:17Speaker 2: Airlines worldwide have begun canceling flights as the war in
- 9:21Speaker 2: the Middle East keeps pushing up fuel prices, and the
- 9:24Speaker 2: Rams selected Alabama quarterback Ty Simpson with the thirteenth pick
- 9:29Speaker 2: in the NFL Draft, the Chargers went with defensive and
- 9:33Speaker 2: a cheme mesador out of Miami.
- 9:35Speaker 1: Well John pittpol Kiss of m EJ is in Downy
- 9:39Speaker 1: with free gas live in a minute, also giving away
- 9:42Speaker 1: free gas to you to call in. So Jordan, who's
- 9:46Speaker 1: in Tokyo with eleven high school friends doing a little karaoke.
- 9:49Speaker 1: Big dream trip to Tokyo with all of our high
- 9:52Speaker 1: school friends. And this is what happened there. That's karaoke
- 9:57Speaker 1: four in the morning in Japan. So you come back,
- 10:01Speaker 1: you're feeling it. Great trip making moves now taking steps forward.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Hot trainers. At the gym, the guy you told us
- 10:10Speaker 1: all about you went up, well how to go?
- 10:13Speaker 6: You know, I would like to say it went well,
- 10:16Speaker 6: but I fumbled. Well. I wanted to, you know, make
- 10:22Speaker 6: it a smooth entrance and ask if he was using
- 10:25Speaker 6: the machine that he obviously was using. So I walk
- 10:28Speaker 6: up behind him and I say, excuse me, But instead
- 10:31Speaker 6: of it going out the way it should, my.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Voice cracked, like really, like Tanya's excuse me.
- 10:39Speaker 1: If they have to change GM memberships yourself, I would
- 10:42Speaker 1: have been banned if that was the key. So it
- 10:44Speaker 1: just cracked. Okay, and how'd it come out? What'd you say?
- 10:47Speaker 6: I was like, excuse me, I hate that I have
- 10:52Speaker 6: to relive it, but it was so embarrassing and he heard.
- 10:57Speaker 6: He kind of laughed. We made no eye contact and
- 11:00Speaker 6: I was continuing. I was like, hey, are you using
- 11:02Speaker 6: this machine? He's like, it's all you and walked away.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Oh it's okay.
- 11:08Speaker 3: We had interaction.
- 11:09Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, now you're on the radar. Now. Other ways
- 11:14Speaker 1: to think about this that can be very endearing. I mean,
- 11:16Speaker 1: it's a great icebreaker. Your voice cracks, he makes a joke.
- 11:20Speaker 1: Another thing to do is to say, hey, can I
- 11:22Speaker 1: work in so he doesn't leave right, Hey you mind
- 11:26Speaker 1: if I work in with you? Because then maybe he thinks, yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 1: jump in. I got one more set. So now when
- 11:32Speaker 1: you go back to workout, is it done or do
- 11:34Speaker 1: you just I mean at this point he doesn't know
- 11:37Speaker 1: that you're into him.
- 11:38Speaker 6: That's facts. I think I'm gonna try that. I'm gonna
- 11:41Speaker 6: try again, but probably give myself a week because I'm
- 11:44Speaker 6: still like shook up about it.
- 11:46Speaker 1: I think you're just recovering from being out all night
- 11:48Speaker 1: in Tokyo for four or five nights. Yeah, it sounds
- 11:51Speaker 1: that way to me. So give yourself a full repair.
- 11:54Speaker 1: Get back in there and work in with the guy.
- 11:55Speaker 1: Can I get some reps in while you're just working together? Bro,
- 11:58Speaker 1: you're on the lat machine. What was the next machine?
- 12:00Speaker 1: What were you doing? It was a leg press like
- 12:02Speaker 1: pres Oh leg press, big machine, big must go all right,
- 12:08Speaker 1: Kiss FM. EJ has been out all over southern California
- 12:12Speaker 1: free gas all week. This morning we picked Downy to
- 12:15Speaker 1: wake up. So just so you understand this, So EJ's
- 12:17Speaker 1: out live, just showing up with people to give them
- 12:20Speaker 1: free gas. We're also giving away free gas every hour

- 12:26Speaker 1: gas here on Kiss, you're qualified to get your gas
- 12:29Speaker 1: paid for for a year. That is what I'm most
- 12:34Speaker 1: excited about. We're gonna give that away soon. So EJ.
- 12:37Speaker 1: You are at the seven eleven, still Lakewood and Downy right.
- 12:40Speaker 7: Mm hmmm yes, And we are here with Natasha who
- 12:43Speaker 7: is from Long Beach and she is so per excited
- 12:46Speaker 7: that you are going to fill up her gas sake.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Say hi Natasha, Hello, Hi, Happy Tuesday.
- 12:52Speaker 1: Natasha, Happy morning to you.
- 12:54Speaker 4: How you doing I am doing great, I'm doing even
- 12:58Speaker 4: better right now. Thank you.
- 13:00Speaker 1: But you're welcome. You just met Ronnie, who I know
- 13:03Speaker 1: is there and EJ teaming up to give free gas
- 13:06Speaker 1: to you. So where are you headed to this morning?
- 13:09Speaker 4: Okay? So I was headed to Downy. I was my
- 13:12Speaker 4: two his birthdays coming up. I was just gonna go
- 13:14Speaker 4: grab them some shoes, but I stopped to grab some
- 13:17Speaker 4: gas really quick, and then when he came up to me,
- 13:20Speaker 4: I was like, oh my god, thank you.
- 13:21Speaker 7: Yes, really I'll.
- 13:23Speaker 1: Take that, no doubt. Very generous of you to be
- 13:27Speaker 1: thoughtful for your friend. What kind of shoes are you
- 13:28Speaker 1: getting for your friend?
- 13:30Speaker 4: Oh it's for my twins, my dogs.
- 13:34Speaker 1: I thought you said friends. Okay, twins for my babies.
- 13:37Speaker 4: They turned seven on the thirtieth.
- 13:40Speaker 1: Oh wow, I love that. Well, congratulations, go get your
- 13:44Speaker 1: shoes for the twins and enjoy that free gas.
- 13:47Speaker 4: I sure will. This is such a blessing. And gas
- 13:50Speaker 4: just went up. I said, Oh, they're out here doing
- 13:51Speaker 4: the right thing, and I'm just glad I came to
- 13:54Speaker 4: the right spot.
- 13:54Speaker 1: So thank you so much, Natasha. Nice to meet you.
- 13:56Speaker 7: You take good care, all right, Nice to meet you,
- 13:59Speaker 7: took Thank you, guys, So you're so welcome.
- 14:03Speaker 1: I'm loving meeting everyone you're doing such a great job
- 14:07Speaker 1: finding people to give the guest to thank you so much.
- 14:10Speaker 7: Absolutely, you know I've been pulling a little double duty,
- 14:13Speaker 7: but you know what it had to get done.
- 14:15Speaker 1: Yes, we are grateful for the around the clock double duty.
- 14:18Speaker 1: He was all over southern California this week. What's Ronnie
- 14:22Speaker 1: wearing today? I'm just curious, Ronnie.
- 14:23Speaker 7: Is the uh, let me tell you something. The fact
- 14:27Speaker 7: that they sent me out here with the chaperone is
- 14:29Speaker 7: insane because they knew that I was not good with
- 14:31Speaker 7: your credit card buying people guys, because I would something.
- 14:35Speaker 1: Is the chaperone of all chaperones.
- 14:38Speaker 7: Sent me with the chaperon. Well, what he's wearing now?
- 14:41Speaker 7: He's wearing my crop hoodie because he's cold, and I
- 14:45Speaker 7: bought it for myself and he took upon himself to
- 14:47Speaker 7: steal it and wear it himself.
- 14:49Speaker 1: So that's what he was. Just be aware he's going
- 14:51Speaker 1: to crop it more to pooh. ALRIGHTJ thanks again, but
- 15:00Speaker 1: EJ out the seven to eleven Lakewood and Downey's art
- 15:03Speaker 1: of this segment so many times a week, and knowing
- 15:06Speaker 1: happens every once in a while, It's kiss fad No
- 15:08Speaker 1: Brook Boys disco lines Tanache before that, Alice DJ, Kesha,
- 15:12Speaker 1: Zaur Larson, Kendrick Lamar, Olivia, Dean Bruno, Post Malone DJ
- 15:19Speaker 1: mixing it up again. All right, so Mchanna's really on Hinge.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Look for on Hinge. She's there, and she's got a
- 15:26Speaker 1: lot of traffic here, a lot of traffic rolling through
- 15:30Speaker 1: some opening lines that she has received recently. What do
- 15:33Speaker 1: we think. Let's cast a little judgment. Why not? So
- 15:37Speaker 1: I got pictures of all the guys here, Hinge potential
- 15:41Speaker 1: number one. What was his opening line?
- 15:44Speaker 3: He said, I.
- 15:44Speaker 5: Had a witty opening line ready, then I got hypnotized
- 15:47Speaker 5: by your profile. Totally your fault, so message me back.
- 15:50Speaker 1: I don't hate I love that kind of gamey like
- 15:56Speaker 1: he's got game.
- 15:56Speaker 3: Let's see his picture.
- 15:58Speaker 1: It's a stud bro.
- 16:01Speaker 2: Kind of any of a beard, so it's like you
- 16:03Speaker 2: really can't see his face.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Actually, you're right, he's got sunguys that had a beard
- 16:06Speaker 1: and his arms across covering his body. But other than that,
- 16:10Speaker 1: I think he looks great. I like his line. All right,
- 16:13Speaker 1: Number two, Hinge potential boyfriend.
- 16:15Speaker 5: Number two, we should probably go on a date before
- 16:17Speaker 5: one of us deletes this app cute ew I mean.
- 16:21Speaker 1: That's great too. Why is that you know it's impossible
- 16:24Speaker 1: to win. I don't like being told what to do,
- 16:26Speaker 1: and it's too aggressive.
- 16:28Speaker 3: He's just saying, should it's being chivalrous.
- 16:30Speaker 7: Now.
- 16:31Speaker 1: I don't know if it's chivalry, but it's good, all right?
- 16:35Speaker 1: And he's is he your vibe? He says, Chicago that's
- 16:39Speaker 1: a past.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Yeah, he's out. Yeah.
- 16:40Speaker 1: Why Chicago like Chicago?
- 16:42Speaker 3: Why I like Chicago?
- 16:44Speaker 1: He says? It is not the look?
- 16:46Speaker 3: Yeah, not my type.
- 16:48Speaker 1: What is your type, Mikayla.
- 16:50Speaker 8: I like taller guys, tattoos, tattoos into.
- 16:56Speaker 1: Music like eh, okay, I don't know where the part
- 17:01Speaker 1: is other than that, I understand, right, Just file to
- 17:04Speaker 1: complaint with Spotify. They forgot to list you as the
- 17:07Speaker 1: hottest single this year. That's the next year.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Cheese on that.
- 17:13Speaker 1: I mean, after you get to know him. I don't
- 17:16Speaker 1: like it? Did you like? I like it too? My god?
- 17:22Speaker 1: I might actually take a snapshot on my phone. No,
- 17:25Speaker 1: don't use that, Yeah you do. I'm going to reward
- 17:29Speaker 1: a little bit created all over. I'm gonna say on complaining.
- 17:33Speaker 1: iHeart radio, okay, next one.
- 17:37Speaker 3: The last one.
- 17:38Speaker 5: I don't need Google anymore now that I found what
- 17:40Speaker 5: I've been searching for.
- 17:41Speaker 3: I love it.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Is that a youtwo lyric and it sounds like copy paste,
- 17:45Speaker 2: like he's using on all the girls. I love it.
- 17:47Speaker 3: And he's wearing one of those little camel pack packs
- 17:49Speaker 3: with the water spout on the side.
- 17:51Speaker 1: I thought, no problem, all right, just going by looks
- 17:59Speaker 1: I like number one in number four.
- 18:01Speaker 2: For baby like one, but we need to see more
- 18:05Speaker 2: of his face.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Look for other pictures.
- 18:08Speaker 1: Will you respond to any.
- 18:09Speaker 5: Probably the last one I did like number three. That's
- 18:12Speaker 5: a good one. I feel like just for that line alone.
- 18:15Speaker 1: Okay, keep us posted. This is Please don't meet somebody.
- 18:17Speaker 1: This is the most fun I have a week. If
- 18:19Speaker 1: you're listening on our iHeartRadio app, leave us a talkback
- 18:23Speaker 1: right now. Just hit the red microphone. Start talking now. Ruby,
- 18:28Speaker 1: you mentioned this, and I take it out of my head. Now.
- 18:31Speaker 1: She mentioned that, and I never thought about it until
- 18:34Speaker 1: I started thinking about it, And now I think about
- 18:35Speaker 1: it all the time. That when our coffee like my
- 18:39Speaker 1: coffee coffee, you know how if you listen to show
- 18:40Speaker 1: you know important coffee is. It's like my it's my
- 18:43Speaker 1: longest term relationship.
- 18:44Speaker 3: It's life.
- 18:45Speaker 1: It's life, and I look forward to it in the morning,
- 18:47Speaker 1: and you were saying that, like, if you microwave your
- 18:50Speaker 1: coffee it could not be safe.
- 18:51Speaker 8: Ruby, Well, I was curious because my coffee got cold
- 18:54Speaker 8: this morning, so I was like, is it wrong to
- 18:57Speaker 8: microwave it?
- 18:58Speaker 1: I mean, I do you do? So it's okay. I
- 19:00Speaker 1: don't know. I didn't think about it until I start
- 19:02Speaker 1: thinking about it.
- 19:03Speaker 3: Why would it be bad?
- 19:04Speaker 8: I feel like it would like evaporate the goodness.
- 19:06Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 19:07Speaker 8: In my head, I'm like, oh, is it going to
- 19:08Speaker 8: get rid of like the the flavors of the coffee.
- 19:12Speaker 1: All right, So here's what I found out. Heat breaks
- 19:15Speaker 1: the acids down, which makes it taste more bitter. Then
- 19:19Speaker 1: micro destroys the aromatic compound, so the smell is gone,
- 19:22Speaker 1: making taste flat, creates hot spots which can cause it
- 19:26Speaker 1: burning after taste. So no, you're pretty much ruin it.
- 19:29Speaker 1: I think this is unknown.
- 19:30Speaker 2: Just throw some ice in there and making an ice coffee.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Well I do that once I start to get like jittery,
- 19:37Speaker 1: then I go ice. Warm coffee makes me jitterate. The
- 19:39Speaker 1: ice doesn't really, So yeah, I guess the caffeine is stable,
- 19:43Speaker 1: but I didn't know that you need to tell people
- 19:45Speaker 1: that I didn't know. They don't tell you that they
- 19:47Speaker 1: don't That's like one of those things out there to
- 19:48Speaker 1: do certain things in life, they don't tell you about that.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Up Kiss FM. Got a thousand dollars to pay a bill.
- 19:55Speaker 1: It's one minute out, one minute hang on on air
- 19:59Speaker 1: right in Seacrest. What a two point seven Kiss FM?
- 20:04Speaker 1: All right, let's go. Gas prices at like six bucks
- 20:06Speaker 1: in all counties in southern California. EJ has been out
- 20:10Speaker 1: at different gas stations this morning. He's rolling around Downey.
- 20:14Speaker 1: He's at his next location. This is Downy Free Gas,
- 20:17Speaker 1: randomly picking the stations. What'd you pick this morning in Downy? EJ?
- 20:22Speaker 7: All right, So we are at the seven eleven on
- 20:25Speaker 7: Lake Way Boulevard. Let me tell you, people are super
- 20:28Speaker 7: excited that you are coming through and paying for their guys.
- 20:31Speaker 7: I just met up with Isabelle from LA. She was saying,
- 20:33Speaker 7: how it's a blessing that you're going to do this
- 20:35Speaker 7: for her.
- 20:36Speaker 2: Thank you, Ryan Sea Christ.
- 20:37Speaker 4: We love you every watching you since I as a
- 20:39Speaker 4: kid too. So what a surprise. Thank you, God, bless.
- 20:42Speaker 1: You, Thank you, Isabelle. It's nice to meet you at
- 20:45Speaker 1: the seven eleven on Lakewood Boulevard there in Downey. What
- 20:47Speaker 1: are you up to this morning?
- 20:50Speaker 4: Just got out of working out and headed to work now,
- 20:53Speaker 4: so great and yeah, feeling blessed. Thank you so much.
- 20:56Speaker 1: You're a very disciplined person to get your work on
- 20:58Speaker 1: in before you go to work.
- 21:01Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, just started today day one.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Hey, well you can't get to day one without getting
- 21:08Speaker 1: to day one or day two without exactly like that.
- 21:10Speaker 3: Better day one than one day, you know.
- 21:13Speaker 7: Uh huh.
- 21:13Speaker 4: I started with a blessing too, so thank you so much.
- 21:16Speaker 1: Got it, Thank you. I was just trying to figure
- 21:18Speaker 1: out what Tony was saying, but I actually got it.
- 21:19Speaker 1: And have a great day at work. Thank you for listening.
- 21:23Speaker 1: A great day YouTube, Bye bye, EJA, great stuff. Thank
- 21:28Speaker 1: you for being there seven to eleven on Lakewood Boulevard
- 21:31Speaker 1: with that free gas. EJ in Downey. I will talk
- 21:35Speaker 1: to you in a bit, thanks EJ.
- 21:36Speaker 4: This sounds good.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Well it's that time again to look at the weekend
- 21:40Speaker 1: watch lists. So you know, honestly, I can't keep up
- 21:43Speaker 1: with it. There's too many things. There's too many things
- 21:46Speaker 1: that are out there, and I'm not so sure that
- 21:49Speaker 1: I've finished anything recently that's really rocked me. But Sisney,
- 21:52Speaker 1: what's on your weekend watch list?
- 21:54Speaker 2: Okay, so this is on Apple TV and it is
- 21:56Speaker 2: called Margo's Got Money Troubles. It is starting El Fanning
- 22:01Speaker 2: and Michelle Pfeiffer and she basically right away gets pregnant
- 22:07Speaker 2: very early on in her college freshman year and it
- 22:11Speaker 2: kind of starts from there.
- 22:12Speaker 1: Right four episodes out now, new ones come out on Wednesdays. Tanya,
- 22:17Speaker 1: what's on your weekend watch list?
- 22:18Speaker 3: Okay? So my show is Big Mistakes. It's on Netflix,
- 22:22Speaker 3: and I love everything that Dan Lovey does and this
- 22:25Speaker 3: is him. It's starring him, and he created it. It's
- 22:27Speaker 3: a dysfunctional family comedy that blends dark humor and a
- 22:30Speaker 3: high stakes crime plot. So I'm very much looking forward
- 22:33Speaker 3: to watching this.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Ruby, let's go to the back room. You are into
- 22:38Speaker 1: what on your weekend watch list?
- 22:39Speaker 8: Mine is Malcolm in the Middle Life's Still Unfair on Hulu.
- 22:43Speaker 8: So it's basically a revival of Malcolm in the Middle,
- 22:46Speaker 8: but the series follows Malcolm and his daughter as a
- 22:48Speaker 8: visit his parents for their fortieth wedding anniversary, so it's
- 22:53Speaker 8: definitely very nostalgic.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Can I tell you I saw the first episode of
- 22:56Speaker 2: this and there was so much yelling.
- 23:00Speaker 1: Really, I can't at the end of my day, I
- 23:02Speaker 1: cannot take so much yelling.
- 23:04Speaker 3: That's how I felt.
- 23:05Speaker 2: He was yelling at the mom and the mom was
- 23:07Speaker 2: yelling at him.
- 23:07Speaker 1: And I mean, it's good, but there was a Michael
- 23:10Speaker 1: Fastbender either a movie or series I watched, and I
- 23:13Speaker 1: don't think he had five lines in the entire series.
- 23:17Speaker 1: That's what I need. But I didn't speak much per
- 23:19Speaker 1: episode at all. He was some CIA agent that just
- 23:22Speaker 1: didn't talk all right. So on my weekend watch list,
- 23:26Speaker 1: Scarpetta on Prime, I knew you were going to pick
- 23:29Speaker 1: that Doctor k Scarpettit tries to unmask a serial killer.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Improved that her career making case from twenty eight years
- 23:35Speaker 1: earlier isn't. Also her Undoing Undoing was a show Nicole
- 23:40Speaker 1: Kidman was in. Nicole Kidman is in this one too,
- 23:44Speaker 1: so you see the tie in Undoing the operative. I'm
- 23:48Speaker 1: also watching Friends and Neighbors, but they don't post it
- 23:50Speaker 1: until every week. I know it's it's so good, but
- 23:54Speaker 1: so frustrating. I have this question on John Ham, but
- 23:58Speaker 1: I can't wait a week every time.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Is it a new one come out?
- 24:00Speaker 1: Tonight though, yes, y, yes, it does all right, thank you.
- 24:04Speaker 1: That's a weekend watch.
- 24:05Speaker 3: List, honor which Ryan Christ.
- 24:09Speaker 1: It is kiss FM. We are about to pay another bill,
- 24:13Speaker 1: so on Thursdays and Fridays, we're paying your bills all
- 24:18Speaker 1: day long. That is coming up in just a second.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Also a bunch of non stop kiss music this hour.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Tany you mentioned this? How fast is too fast? To
- 24:26Speaker 1: put a ring on it? Zoe Kravitz has stepped out
- 24:30Speaker 1: with what appears to be a ring.
- 24:32Speaker 3: I mean, it's the ring that we've been talking about
- 24:35Speaker 3: all week long, So let's get into it.
- 24:37Speaker 1: So Harry Styles didn't interview back in March where he
- 24:40Speaker 1: basically said I want a family and.
- 24:42Speaker 3: And he said he had a real honest conversation with
- 24:45Speaker 3: himself about what he wanted his life to look like
- 24:47Speaker 3: in five years, and that's what kind of came out
- 24:49Speaker 3: of it. So Zoe was spotted with this ring, and
- 24:53Speaker 3: then also people were reporting that they saw her wearing
- 24:56Speaker 3: a ring two days prior to when they saw these
- 24:59Speaker 3: photos that were posted did so it's not like this
- 25:01Speaker 3: was just a one off ring, but it's on that
- 25:03Speaker 3: finger and so I mean, we're all just kind of.
- 25:08Speaker 1: Suit which what is the what is the real average?
- 25:11Speaker 1: What is the appropriate run time before you put a
- 25:14Speaker 1: ring after dating? It totally depends on the chemical makeup
- 25:17Speaker 1: of the person.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Well, for context, they've been dating since the summer of
- 25:20Speaker 3: twenty twenty five, as as much as we know, So
- 25:24Speaker 3: it's been nine months.
- 25:25Speaker 1: Okay, And is that normal? I mean I I think
- 25:28Speaker 1: you've got to give it as much time as possible.
- 25:31Speaker 3: It's different. They need you to hit every holiday twice yes,
- 25:35Speaker 3: and then yes because the.
- 25:37Speaker 1: First one it could be. I don't know. It just worked.
- 25:40Speaker 1: I gotta go to your family, you gotta go to
- 25:42Speaker 1: my family. We got to live together. There are a
- 25:45Speaker 1: lot of things that you got to work out before.
- 25:47Speaker 1: I don't know why that's so impractical to people. There
- 25:51Speaker 1: are things you need to test drive on both sides
- 25:54Speaker 1: before you commit for your lives together, including a leap year.
- 26:00Speaker 1: You need to go through a leap year before you
- 26:03Speaker 1: settle down.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Don't disagree with Ryan.
- 26:05Speaker 2: You know what I do love about their relationship though,
- 26:07Speaker 2: And I love this for Harry Styles is that his
- 26:10Speaker 2: maybe potential father in law will be Letny go yeah
- 26:15Speaker 2: oh yeah, And so how cool would that be?
- 26:21Speaker 1: Lenny Kravitz is your father in law. Right, Mikayla, you
- 26:27Speaker 1: are not sleeping because of your neighbor's dogs. Let's get
- 26:30Speaker 1: into it right now. What is wrong with your neighbor's dogs.
- 26:33Speaker 1: They're barking too late? What are they barking about.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Yeah, so there's two of them.
- 26:37Speaker 5: One's a bigger dog, one's a small one, and it
- 26:40Speaker 5: starts at like eight pm and they just bark NonStop.
- 26:43Speaker 5: They'll take like ten minute breaks and then keep barking,
- 26:47Speaker 5: and I feel bad for them, the dogs they're outside.
- 26:53Speaker 1: Well, first of all, we're sorry about that, because I
- 26:55Speaker 1: I've learned in life as I've not slept for a
- 26:58Speaker 1: decade or so, it really it really wears you down.
- 27:03Speaker 1: So that's one thing. The second thing is I don't
- 27:06Speaker 1: know about these neighbors. Forget that the dogs, it's not
- 27:09Speaker 1: their fault. I feel bad for the dogs, of course,
- 27:12Speaker 1: but these neighbors. How are these neighbors not so kind
- 27:14Speaker 1: to their dogs and also to their neighbors very annoying?
- 27:18Speaker 1: Is there a way to address it?
- 27:19Speaker 5: I wonder if they just don't know, because maybe they're
- 27:21Speaker 5: not home and they think just leaving the dogs out
- 27:23Speaker 5: like that way they can go to the bathroom and
- 27:25Speaker 5: just hang out and get back. So I'm like, maybe
- 27:27Speaker 5: they don't know they're barking.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Yeah, note, is there a notes we should leave on
- 27:31Speaker 1: the door or the mailbox? Maybe I don't think.
- 27:34Speaker 3: There's anything wrong about somebody's dog. That's like leaving a
- 27:37Speaker 3: note about somebody's crying baby. Well, not a note.
- 27:39Speaker 2: But like our neighbors told us, when Dakota got really
- 27:42Speaker 2: old and she would use the doggy door to go
- 27:44Speaker 2: out and go potty, she would forget how to use
- 27:46Speaker 2: it to come back inside the house, So then she
- 27:48Speaker 2: would just stand out there and bark when.
- 27:49Speaker 3: We weren't home.
- 27:50Speaker 2: And so the neighbors had to tell us because we
- 27:52Speaker 2: had no idea. And so then basically we had to
- 27:54Speaker 2: cut off the.
- 27:55Speaker 1: We got to cut it off.
- 27:56Speaker 3: She couldn't use the doggy door anymore.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Again, Mikayla, this is all about approach. Approach. This from
- 28:03Speaker 1: the standpoint of, Hey, you probably don't know ear dogs,
- 28:07Speaker 1: are you know, needing your attention. I just want to
- 28:11Speaker 1: let you know because I'm a dog lover and they
- 28:13Speaker 1: need to, you know, get some attention for something. Forget
- 28:17Speaker 1: about you, they don't care you're not sleeping. We got
- 28:20Speaker 1: to make it about the dogs and their parents.
- 28:22Speaker 3: That's a good point if you if you don't want
- 28:24Speaker 3: to deal with people in general. I just I'm saying
- 28:28Speaker 3: you don't want to have this awkward conversation with your neighbors.
- 28:31Speaker 3: I highly suggest ear plugs and brown noise work wonders.
- 28:35Speaker 1: I think letting the owners know about the dogs before
- 28:38Speaker 1: you get into ear plugs and brown noise. As a
- 28:39Speaker 1: single person trying to get a guy is the right
- 28:45Speaker 1: to the person you meet on hinge when you first
- 28:47Speaker 1: meet them. I'm with Ryan on that.
- 28:50Speaker 3: And then you introduce your new guide to earplugs.
- 28:53Speaker 1: What's the sound of that appliance I'm hearing, Oh that's
- 28:55Speaker 1: my brown noise. No thank you. I'd rather have the
- 28:59Speaker 1: dogs barking coming up next. Everything you know sistant, you
- 29:04Speaker 1: knows everything that is a crisis. Tanya's solution is brown
- 29:09Speaker 1: noise nasal tape or mouth tape. Right, it's a it's
- 29:13Speaker 1: always just tap it, just tape it, stay pay close
- 29:16Speaker 1: it like no, that's we're talking about barking dogs. We're
- 29:19Speaker 1: gonna wrap it up for us this morning on a
- 29:21Speaker 1: Kiss FM. Thanks for being here. A lots of good
- 29:23Speaker 1: stuff now Monday. I'm just looking ahead to the weekend
- 29:26Speaker 1: and then beyond that if you can deal with what's
- 29:29Speaker 1: coming up on Monday. It's a Ryan's Roses. She found
- 29:32Speaker 1: out her husband of thirteen years was cheating with one
- 29:35Speaker 1: of her friends. Now we've been down this path before.
- 29:39Speaker 1: She made a commitment to making it work for their family,
- 29:41Speaker 1: so that's gonna go down at te forty. Also, we
- 29:44Speaker 1: are excited that all week next week, every hour in
- 29:48Speaker 1: the morning, we will have your Dodger tickets and we're
- 29:51Speaker 1: paying your bills. If you missed anything at all today,
- 29:55Speaker 1: at all this week, it's up on our podcast. Wherever
- 29:58Speaker 1: you get your podcast on arth Ryan's Secret, you can
