- 0:05balloon still float around the living room. 6 O.
- 0:11If she ain't going to pop them and throw them away, well, then
- 0:13neither am I. Louis.
- 0:15The legend. All right, coffee with Kenny.
- 0:19Emergency press conference here. So one of the greatest comedians
- 0:24of all time. Jim Carrey turning 62 years old
- 0:28today. So this message coffee with
- 0:31Kenny is for you. 20 year olds out there.
- 0:36Well, hell, could be 40. But anyway, you know, I've raced
- 0:39in Japan a couple times. Suzuka, Circuit, Motigi.
- 0:44We've been in Canada. We've been all over.
- 0:46You know, maybe not the world, but we, we, we've done some
- 0:49travelling. People say to me, Herman, tell
- 0:53me about Saint Louis. Seems like a really shitty town.
- 0:56I'm like, Oh yeah, stay away from Saint Louis.
- 1:01I kind of. I kind of take the approach like
- 1:04Kid Rock does Detroit where bad son of a bitches stay away.
- 1:09Anyway, I just go with it and have a good time.
- 1:11But Saint Louis is an awesome town gateway to the West, mighty
- 1:16Mississippi. The Arch.
- 1:18We got it all. Got a lot of money in our town.
- 1:21Monsanto, McDonnell Douglas. Anheuser Busch Enterprise.
- 1:25Rent a car, Ralston Purina. But we got it going on here, so
- 1:30don't let Saint Louis fool you. There's a lot of stuff going on
- 1:33here. We just a shitting little town
- 1:35that cannot keep an NFL football team.
- 1:38Which is fine. That's fine.
- 1:39We don't need the NFL anyway. So, Herman, get with it.
- 1:44What the hell is this all about? Well, Jim Carrey, the greatest
- 1:48comedian of our generation, man, that guy, he can imitate and
- 1:53make faces. He turning 62 today.
- 1:57And so people say tell me about Saint Louis.
- 2:00And I said, well, we're Missouri frugal.
- 2:03They said Missouri frugal. I said, Oh yeah, I asked Lee
- 2:06Spencer, one of the NASCAR, you know media people about that.
- 2:10So Missouri frugal means we're a big union town.
- 2:16I don't really think we need union now.
- 2:18And I know that's controversial, but there's so many rules and
- 2:22regulations by the US government now that, yeah, I I don't, I
- 2:26mean, I guess it's OK to be part of a club.
- 2:29But yeah, So anyway, I am Missouri frugal.
- 2:36I'm very cheap. The joke about the NASCAR money,
- 2:40that was some of the people just making that joke.
- 2:43But people are like, what's Missouri frugal?
- 2:46I said, well, that means, you know, if you ask me for $10 on
- 2:50Monday and you don't pay it back by Friday, we're going to fight
- 2:53$10 is a lot in Missouri. All my friends.
- 2:58Kevin Gundaker, the gundakers, maybe.
- 3:02Couple people said, man, Wallace is Wallace is cheap.
- 3:05He's real frugal. I'm like, if you'd have been as
- 3:08broke ass as I was when I was a kid, you'd be.
- 3:10You'd be cheap too. But so we spend money on the
- 3:15right things, Herman. Get that a damn point.
- 3:18All right, so here's the deal. Jim Carrey turning 62.
- 3:22It was just like yesterday. Now this is a message to you
- 3:25young kids. It was just like yesterday.
- 3:29I found an investor years ago and I put money away for my
- 3:35children in 529 college plans. All right?
- 3:39Then I opened up insurance, annuities and money markets and,
- 3:44you know, mutual funds and started doing that all by myself
- 3:49through, you know, some investment firms with some help
- 3:55of my CPA accountant who is also my life coach.
- 3:58His name is Ashok. He's a badass and he's helped.
- 4:03He's helped me navigate some of you dumbasses out there.
- 4:07And I always come out of winter because of a choke.
- 4:09But anyway, I found John Scatoni on the North Side of Chicago,
- 4:15and I can remember sitting in his office and we, we'd say, you
- 4:18know, this was my this, this is very private.
- 4:22I can't believe I'm telling you all this because I like you all
- 4:25to think I'm a dumb ass because it's easier for me to entertain.
- 4:28But I'm super smart, damn it. I don't want you all to know
- 4:32that. So anyway, I had my team of
- 4:35three, myself, Ashok and Scatoni and we're sitting up there in
- 4:38Chicago at the office and I, he's my broker and we circled 58
- 4:45years old and that's when I was going to retire and working my
- 4:50balls off. I mean just day and night
- 4:53grinding. And I said hell, I'll never,
- 4:56I'll never be 58 anyway. You circle that shit all you
- 4:59want. So here I am looking at Jim
- 5:04Carrey 62 now made me decide to make this video.
- 5:07I have a message for all of you kids out there.
- 5:11Put your money away, man. I when it come time for my kids
- 5:16to go to college, the money was there.
- 5:19When it came time for my kids to buy their first house, the money
- 5:24was there. When these grandbabies come
- 5:26around, the money was there and I've been able to retire because
- 5:32of doing something that you're taught at an early age, but you
- 5:35just don't get it. I'm telling you if you I, I I'm
- 5:40just sharing this with you because I hope it inspires you.
- 5:44I look at some of my investments now and I'm like, holy moly,
- 5:48it's been 2530 years since then and the money is like, tripled.
- 5:53If you put your money away, I mean, if you put man, you know,
- 5:58I mean it's true. If you put $100 a week away, if
- 6:01you can do that, if you can just do something, when you get to be
- 6:0560 like I am, you'll shit in your pants.
- 6:08You'll go, So you find an investor and you put the money
- 6:14away and you put it in all the right things.
- 6:16There's no trick. It's just that if you put it
- 6:19away and just live your life, put your money away.
- 6:22I got a friend near Lauren. Lauren worked for union forever
- 6:28and he put his money away and he shitting into all cotton.
- 6:31Now who would have thunk? Yeah, just Lauren right here.
- 6:35And he said that there was one guy that changed his mind.
- 6:39Said an old guy stood up in front of the union hall and he
- 6:42looked. Everybody goes, listen, it's too
- 6:44late for me because I was a dumb ass.
- 6:46But it's not too late for you. Put put $100 a week away and
- 6:52when it's time for you to retire, you'll go, Damn, I'm
- 6:54glad I listened to that guy. So I want to say to all of you,
- 6:57listen to me, because it worked for a lot of people.
- 7:00I know it worked for me. Just put a little bit of money
- 7:03away right now. I know a lot of you dirt racers
- 7:06spend that $100 bill, but don't don't be a Dirt dobber.
- 7:10A Dirt Dobber is a nickname for somebody Just runs dirt and gets
- 7:14to be 50 years old, looks around and goes, shit, I'm broke.
- 7:18So just get it all together, OK? Create a nice little nucleus,
- 7:27put your money away and you'll look up one day and you'll see
- 7:30Dave Chappelle. And you're like, damn, I
- 7:32remember when Chappelle was a comedian and acting funny and
- 7:36damn, he's 80 now and I'm 60. And when you get to be 60,
- 7:40you'll go, man, I thank you, Kenny Wallace.
- 7:43But start putting fifty $100 a week away and listen, you got to
- 7:49do it even if you can't afford it.
- 7:51You got to figure it out. Because if you don't do that,
- 7:55you'll be working at 70 years old.
- 7:57Now here's the deal. You can do whatever you want to
- 8:00do. For example, I'm retired, but
- 8:03I'm still working. If you put that 50 or $100 away
- 8:06every week, when you hit 60, you can do whatever the hell you
- 8:10want to do, Then you know then nobody has you.
- 8:13All right? Words of wisdom by The
- 8:15Herminator. I don't know this guy on this
- 8:17video. Who the hell is that?
- 8:20You're welcome.
