- 0:14Speaker 2: in Brooklyn. David, how you doing? Hey, good morning, how
- 0:17Speaker 2: are you good?
- 0:18Speaker 3: Okay?
- 0:19Speaker 4: I just want to if you give me thirty seconds,
- 0:21Speaker 4: I make my point. You speaking yesterday that the election
- 0:24Speaker 4: turnout was only forty five percent, So I want to
- 0:27Speaker 4: explain to something my training statistics. I think forty percent
- 0:31Speaker 4: is actually too high. And I'll explain to you why
- 0:34Speaker 4: New York City does not have as system of people
- 0:37Speaker 4: removing themselves from the from the voting world. Meaning when
- 0:40Speaker 4: someone registers to vote in New York, then they move
- 0:42Speaker 4: to Florida, they move wherever. They don't call up.
- 0:44Speaker 2: People do not know. That's a good point. The actual
- 0:47Speaker 2: total might be higher, but people aren't.
- 0:49Speaker 5: Hey.
- 0:49Speaker 2: By the way, you don't have to say give me,
- 0:51Speaker 2: give me thirty seve. Be interesting. If you're really interesting,
- 0:54Speaker 2: you can stay on. You'll be on for ten minutes.
- 0:57Speaker 2: If it's not so interesting, it might be ten seconds.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Let's go to Mike in Florida. Mike, how you doing?
- 1:03Speaker 5: Good morning Mark, Yes, Mike, just to get off the
- 1:06Speaker 5: politics for a couple of seconds. I was cruising YouTube
- 1:10Speaker 5: and I came across a bunch of Neil Sidaka videos
- 1:14Speaker 5: and I was wondering if you were friends with him,
- 1:16Speaker 5: and also how short is Neil Sidaka? He looked. It
- 1:20Speaker 5: was one where he's dancing, he's singing, there's a bunch
- 1:22Speaker 5: of dancing girls and he looks like he comes up
- 1:24Speaker 5: to their waist.
- 1:25Speaker 2: Well, no, he's not. He's a good friend of mine.
- 1:27Speaker 2: He's not. He's not tall, but I would say he's
- 1:29Speaker 2: five nine probably, oh okay, maybe he's five five to nine.
- 1:33Speaker 2: But he You know, when they put you in the
- 1:35Speaker 2: show with the dancing girls, they're always like six feet tall,
- 1:38Speaker 2: these these dancers. So true. Yeah, but he tells.
- 1:41Speaker 5: He's doing it. He's pushed. He's in his eighties.
- 1:44Speaker 2: I know that. Yeah, you can see how he's doing
- 1:47Speaker 2: because if you're follow him on Facebook or online, probably
- 1:51Speaker 2: on YouTube too. Every couple of days in his own
- 1:54Speaker 2: apartment over there on the Upper East Side, he makes
- 1:56Speaker 2: these videos him at the piano and he sings some
- 2:00Speaker 2: of his songs. He might want to get a little
- 2:03Speaker 2: better dressed for them, it's usually him and his pajamas.
- 2:08Speaker 5: He's an underrated genius.
- 2:09Speaker 2: I say, oh, he's a brilliant guy, and he's one
- 2:11Speaker 2: of the few artists in the world. Like some of
- 2:14Speaker 2: those videos, you'll see him do laughter in the rain,
- 2:16Speaker 2: just at the piano. He's one of the few guys
- 2:18Speaker 2: in real life can When he does it, it sounds
- 2:20Speaker 2: exactly like the like the recording, exactly like the record.
- 2:23Speaker 5: That's impressive.
- 2:24Speaker 2: You know how many times you go to a concert
- 2:26Speaker 2: and they're doing their hit and it doesn't sound anything
- 2:28Speaker 2: like the single that you've heard for years, But now
- 2:31Speaker 2: Sadaka sounds perfect. Thanks for calling, Mike. Let's go to
- 2:35Speaker 2: Aaron in Indianapolis. Erin, how you doing.
- 2:38Speaker 6: Good morning, Mark. I want to talk about the new
- 2:41Speaker 6: incoming New York mayor. Yes, I think I think we
- 2:45Speaker 6: should extend the peace offering and send him some gift
- 2:48Speaker 6: boxes of hand sandwiches.
- 2:50Speaker 2: I don't know what that means, but I think we
- 2:52Speaker 2: should send him in Indianapolis. Let him run your town
- 2:54Speaker 2: for a little while. Hey, it didn't like that had
- 2:58Speaker 2: a lot of silence there. Let's go to Bill in Pennsylvania. Bill,
- 3:02Speaker 2: how you doing okay?
- 3:05Speaker 3: Mark's I'm wondering why right ways like Steffanic use the
- 3:09Speaker 3: word affordability. Those are the left wards. But we should
- 3:13Speaker 3: be using the slogan common sense.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Well we use that a lot now. President Trump uses
- 3:19Speaker 2: that a lot.
- 3:21Speaker 3: I know, but it should be the rallying cry. Everybody
- 3:24Speaker 3: says that they that these people are saying, you know, affordability,
- 3:28Speaker 3: and they're going to wait across the country with that slogan.
- 3:31Speaker 3: We should respond by saying common sense.
- 3:35Speaker 2: Well we do, we do, we do. President Trump, as
- 3:38Speaker 2: they say, he says it a lot. You can't decide
- 3:40Speaker 2: what the big slogan is. You can just keep saying it.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Then you see what catches on. For some reason, affordability
- 3:46Speaker 2: caught on with the public. They like the word, you know,
- 3:49Speaker 2: it's it's like branding. Sometimes it catches on, sometimes it doesn't.
- 3:53Speaker 2: But affordability it's a big issue right now. But you
- 3:57Speaker 2: got a lot of the President's policies and a lot
- 3:59Speaker 2: of the things in the pipeline going through the economy
- 4:02Speaker 2: that will bring prices down. So in six months prices
- 4:04Speaker 2: might be a lot lower, and then it won't be
- 4:06Speaker 2: a very good word for a campaigning anymore. Let's go
- 4:09Speaker 2: to Susan and Brooklyn, Susan. How you doing, Hi?
- 4:12Speaker 1: Great Mark, love your show. I just have to make
- 4:14Speaker 1: a comment. I received my two hundred dollars inflation refund
- 4:19Speaker 1: check from local and the thing is, they tell you
- 4:23Speaker 1: on this to keep the stub on the top to
- 4:26Speaker 1: file with your twenty twenty five taxes. And it even
- 4:30Speaker 1: says it on the check. This is insane. I'm being
- 4:34Speaker 1: taxed on money that I was already taxed on.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Well, I don't know. Does that mean you have to
- 4:38Speaker 2: pay taxes on it just because you have to keep
- 4:40Speaker 2: the stub?
- 4:41Speaker 1: Well, it says this refund is issued on your income
- 4:43Speaker 1: tax return for the years shown below, tax year twenty
- 4:47Speaker 1: twenty five.
- 4:48Speaker 2: I don't know. You got to ask an account. That
- 4:50Speaker 2: might mean you don't have to pay tax on How
- 4:51Speaker 2: come I didn't? I didn't get it check? How come
- 4:54Speaker 2: I didn't get one?
- 4:56Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe you make too much money? What
- 4:58Speaker 1: can I say? Mark, have a good day.
- 5:01Speaker 2: All right, thanks for calling. Hey, We'll take a break
- 5:03Speaker 2: for the news, get caught up on everything, and when
- 5:06Speaker 2: we come back, we'll talk to Clay Travis. Last night
- 5:09Speaker 2: was the Patriot Awards in Long Island. Fox News, Fox Nation.
- 5:14Speaker 2: They do this Great Patriot Awards. First Lady was there,
- 5:17Speaker 2: Erica kirk Clay Travis was there. He's also got a
- 5:20Speaker 2: new book out. We'll talk to him about that.
