Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: It's early morning praise party. I am Sherry Knacky, and
- 0:04Speaker 1: it's time right now for today's word. His grace is
- 0:09Speaker 1: sufficient for you, Tewod Corinthians twelve nine reads. But he
- 0:15Speaker 1: said to me, my grace is sufficient for you, for
- 0:17Speaker 1: my power is made perfect in weakness, if we'll admit it,
- 0:25Speaker 1: there are some areas where we are weak and we
- 0:29Speaker 1: need God's grace. Y'all, anything you defeat quickly, you don't
- 0:35Speaker 1: need God's grace for that. That's not your real enemy.
- 0:38Speaker 1: You don't have to be concerned with what you overcome
- 0:41Speaker 1: in a short time. Your real enemy is that stuff
- 0:44Speaker 1: that has a stronghold on you, that stuff that just
- 0:47Speaker 1: doesn't go away no matter what. See, the reality is,
- 0:51Speaker 1: certain things are not your enemy because they aren't even
- 0:53Speaker 1: a temptation for you. They're not a problem for you. You
- 0:57Speaker 1: may not have a problem with being dishonest or committing
- 1:00Speaker 1: adultery or doing drugs. Oh but what about being impatient?
- 1:06Speaker 1: What about being angry? What about sometimes being rude or
- 1:11Speaker 1: having an attitude? That may be a different story for you.
- 1:15Speaker 1: Maybe it's gossip that has a stronghold on you. Whatever
- 1:20Speaker 1: it is, God's grace is sufficient for you. See David,
- 1:24Speaker 1: he defeated Goliath in a few minutes. He just took
- 1:28Speaker 1: those smooth stones and that's sling shot baby, and his enemy,
- 1:33Speaker 1: what he perceived as an enemy was gone. See that
- 1:37Speaker 1: wasn't his real enemy. Oh but that king Saul who
- 1:40Speaker 1: tried to kill David for years, that had a stronghold
- 1:43Speaker 1: on David. See God could have delivered David from Sault
- 1:46Speaker 1: in a moment's time. But God doesn't always remove Some enemies,
- 1:53Speaker 1: some temptations, some desires may not go away. It's there
- 1:59Speaker 1: to make you strong. It's there so that you can
- 2:03Speaker 1: know that you depend on the grace of God. If
- 2:07Speaker 1: God doesn't remove it, it means the grace is there
- 2:09Speaker 1: for you to stand strong and deal with it. God
- 2:14Speaker 1: wouldn't allow it if it was going to keep you
- 2:16Speaker 1: from your destiny. So ask him to help you. Ask
- 2:21Speaker 1: God for his strength, admit your dependence on God. Humble
- 2:25Speaker 1: yourself and say God, I can't do this on my own.
- 2:28Speaker 1: I can't defeat this. It's simply not going away. Whatever
- 2:33Speaker 1: the thing is that has you bound, that thing you
- 2:38Speaker 1: can't seem to shake, no matter how big or seemingly
- 2:41Speaker 1: small it is, God will step in and help you
- 2:44Speaker 1: conquer what's holding you back. His grace is sufficient for you.
- 2:51Speaker 1: You have the power to overcome that thing through Jesus Christ.
- 2:56Speaker 1: Oh Father God, thank you that though there are areas
- 3:00Speaker 1: of our lives that are real battle feels for us,
- 3:04Speaker 1: we thank you God that there is no condemnation for
- 3:08Speaker 1: those who are in Christ. Jesus, Thank you Lord for
- 3:10Speaker 1: your grace. M We know that you have grace for
- 3:15Speaker 1: every season and every need that we have, and that
- 3:18Speaker 1: you are changing us little by little, that we're growing
- 3:22Speaker 1: in grace and getting stronger. Oh, your strength has made
- 3:26Speaker 1: perfect in our weakness. God, we humble ourselves before you,
- 3:29Speaker 1: and we confess that we are completely dependent on you
- 3:33Speaker 1: in Jesus' name. Hey, now that's your word for today.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I want you to take that word, apply it to
- 3:39Speaker 1: your everyday life and you continue to be encouraged and inspired.
