- 0:08[SPEAKER_00]: Welcome into Duval Daily.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_00]: President, my ginjack.com.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm Jordan Luba.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks so much for being here.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_00]: Thursday, December 11th right now.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_00]: We are getting into Jaguar's versus Jets.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_00]: Your Jags are nine and four.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: Coming off of a massive victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Jacksonville, despite all the rain.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar's way will drop 36 on the Colts.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_00]: And move into first place, all by themselves, in the AFC South, their third place in the AFC.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: They have an opportunity to potentially have a home game, in the postseason, and maybe multiple.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: You never know how these seating will shake out, but your jag wars, they have to take care of the jets.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: They have to go one and out each of the next four weeks in order to put themselves in the best possible position heading into the postseason.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: They need to avoid an epic collapse, which we have seen happen in Jacksonville before.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: and this first opponent of the final four weeks of the regular season for the Jack Wars is the New York Jets.
- 1:03[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to dive into this game preview it step by step.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all being here.

- 1:12[SPEAKER_00]: Pick up some new dov all gear like the hat I'm wearing right now.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_00]: Help support the channel look good while doing it.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: So the jack wars are favored by 13.5 points.
- 1:22[SPEAKER_00]: That is almost unbelievable and
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: It's not unbelievable based on the way these two teams have been playing.
- 1:30[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars have been averaging over 30 points per game, the last six games, and they have been averaging doubling up on their opponents.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: more than doubling up on their opponents.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: Over the last four weeks, it's been 123 to 52 in favor of the Jaguar's.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: They've had some dominant victories in the Jets have been on the losing end of some embarrassing losses lately as well.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: The Jets have lost three out of their last four.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_00]: They're three in 10 on the year.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: They're just not a very good football team right now and this line kind of indicates that, but still this is the biggest line in favor of the Jaguar's
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: in almost two decades.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: I have to go back before shotgun was the owner of this football team, which is just wild to think about.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_00]: There are problems, however, that the jets can present.
- 2:22[SPEAKER_00]: They're not completely devoid of talent.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: I do think that they are well led by Aaron Glenn.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_00]: Breeze Hall is a special player.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: Jack Wars have faced some special running back this year and done a really good job against them.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: Jonathan Taylor, last week.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_00]: Breeze Hall though, super-athlete, explosive, quick, difficult to get to the ground.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: The jets on the year are seventh in the NFL in rushing, they're averaging 4.7 yards per carry.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: However, slightly skewed and misleading based on where the jets are currently at, because they're two most effective rusheres this year have been their quarterbacks, just in fields in Tyrod Taylor.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: Brady Cook taking all the reps as the number one quarterback for the jets as a rookie right now, not coming off of very impressive performance, Brady Cook, and going back to my kind of draft analysis, I did not think Brady Cook was a draftable quarterback.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_00]: He's in New York and he might start against your Jaguars in Jacksonville this week.
- 3:39[SPEAKER_00]: Since week 11, Bruce Hall's only average 53 yards per game on the ground and his yards per carry way, way down, the Jets rushing attack was simply more dangerous and more effective with fields available.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_00]: but it is what it is at this point.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't look like he's gonna be under center for the jets right now, and the jets just don't seem to have a very good answer at quarterback, but Breeze Hall, regardless of that, is still a very dynamic runner and receiver out of the backfield.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_00]: They have a ton of investment upfront and talent on the offensive line.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: You look at our mom and boo, Olu Fashano, Myers, the guards that they have, like they have a talent to group up front overall.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars have to really respect this run game because that's going to be the way and all likelihood that the Jets have a chance to compete.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: But that's not a very good source of excitement or hope for the Jets because quite frankly, the Jaguars have been the best run defense and football.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_00]: So as long as the Jaguars come prepared, they'll probably be able to handle that.
- 4:54[SPEAKER_00]: This whole season in general, it hasn't been pretty.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's probably putting it nicely for the Jets.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's been one of the worst passing games in the NFL.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_00]: And last week against the Miami Dolphins, Brady Cook was 14 of 30, 200 exceptions, two fumbles as well.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know where you draw confidence from with this passing offense since Garrett Wilson, not available.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: And he is a dynamic starting receiver, really good, really talented guy.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: AD Mitchell, an on-eye Mitchell, came over with the sauce gardener trade, he has potential, but it hasn't regularly been realized you've seen some moments here in the air, but his efficiency is just a trotaceous.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_00]: Mason Taylor very talented young tie-to-end.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: Jason Taylor's son, Chertoni Bicelli would like to say hi to Jason Taylor if that's a potential possibility if he shows up at the game, said hi to him plenty in 1999 and the playoffs, but Mason Taylor unfortunately did not practice Wednesday with a neck injury.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_00]: So again, where is the threat?
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: The bottom line for the Jets is their averaging 15 points per game over the last month.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: They've had one good game over the last month that's concealed in a Falcons a team that is really struggling themselves, but other than that, they lost to the Patriots at Patriots 27-14.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_00]: They lost at the Ravens 23-10.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: They lost against the Dolphins in New York or New Jersey.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_00]: 34-10, the way the jets are playing does not bode well for jets fans in this one.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: And maybe that's what, maybe jets fans would just like to say, hey,
- 6:44[SPEAKER_00]: Let's wrap this up.
- 6:45[SPEAKER_00]: Let's get as good of a draft pick as we can and try to move forward defensively.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: They're best two players are long gone.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_00]: Soascardner and Quinn and Williams, they moved on from those guys.
- 6:57[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why they didn't go for the clean, clean sweep and trade some of the other players that they had offers on, but that's how they went about it.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: Will McDonald is a talented young past rusher.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: He can create some problems for opposing offensive lines.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: Germaine Johnson is a pretty steady player as well.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: You might see Quincy Williams, former Jacksonville Jaguar is a linebacker.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: although he had a hand injury this week and did not participate in practice on Wednesday so that remains to be seen.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to be seen on Dracisco out there.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_00]: He was not playing well, but he suffered a pectoral injury in week eight.
- 7:33[SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't played since then and the one guy you might see Colin Saunders.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_00]: He's now a jet and he could potentially be suited up for this one.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_00]: He's played some snaps for them since the
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: who's again, a talented player.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: They have very dangerous returners.
- 7:57[SPEAKER_00]: Can you name the Wangu?
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: Has a kick return touchdown this year?
- 8:01[SPEAKER_00]: Has a Williams has two-point return touchdowns?
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: Again, the two areas that the jets are pretty, at least talented in running the ball.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: returning kicks, the jacks are strong.
- 8:17[SPEAKER_00]: The jacks have a strong kick coverage, impunt cover units, and they're really good against the run.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: So the jets are just not well positioned to make this a really competitive game unless the Jag war's let them.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: The Jag war's, they can't get in their own way.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: If they do, the jets can compete.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: The jacks have shown inconsistencies at times.
- 8:37[SPEAKER_00]: You haven't seen that a lot throughout the last month.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_00]: But the jacks have shown in consistencies at times with their penalties, drops, turnovers at the quarterback position.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_00]: at times lack of ability to get after the quarterback on defense at times coverage not looking the best, but again, over the last month, the Jaguars have been as good as any team in football.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: They are peeking at the right time and the Jaguars have every player on their 53-man roster, practicing right now.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: For the first time in a long time, they are healthy.
- 9:11[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously no Travis Hunter.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: We know that.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to be back this year.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: And a couple other guys, Kayla Branson, J.L.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: and Cloud.
- 9:17[SPEAKER_00]: But for the most part, the Jag war is our very healthy.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: They have established a lot more depth due to some injuries and some young guys having to play football.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 9:27[SPEAKER_00]: Looks like they're going to have a fairly clean bill of health heading into this game.
- 9:30[SPEAKER_00]: So the Jags, stay focused, stay locked in on your growth mindset, being mature team, and there's no reason the Jag was shouldn't be able to cover the spread even as it grows to 13 and a half points.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all tuning in.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_00]: We will have a lot more to talk about with this football game and the Jacksonville Jags
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: Pivotal Game!
- 9:54[SPEAKER_00]: Most important game in Jack's history if you talk to Tony Picelli.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: Again, really appreciate y'all being here.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: Have a good one.
