- 0:20Speaker 1: Man. The first thing I was thinking with this track list,
- 0:22Speaker 1: because I just listened to it on my phone. I
- 0:25Speaker 1: was like, dude, there, why is there not Huba Stank
- 0:27Speaker 1: on here? But when you go like this album is
- 0:32Speaker 1: craving a little bit of the stank.
- 0:35Speaker 2: Big I know.
- 0:36Speaker 1: But then I that was on my phone, it says
- 0:38Speaker 1: there's no stank on here, But I pull it up
- 0:40Speaker 1: on my computer and it's the track three is supposed
- 0:44Speaker 1: to be Huba Stink that's missing. There's a lot of
- 0:47Speaker 1: bangers on here that are you can't get on Spotify.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Well, and something else I noticed, did you notice the
- 0:53Speaker 2: song on Spotify that wasn't supposed to be there?
- 0:57Speaker 1: Which one was that I didn't notice switch foot song?
- 1:01Speaker 2: Switch switch Foot songs on Spotify, and it's like an
- 1:07Speaker 2: official it's an official thing on there, because like I mean,
- 1:11Speaker 2: I think it looked for me if it wasn't. But
- 1:15Speaker 2: switchfoots not their way right on it. They just you know,
- 1:22Speaker 2: Spider Man two soundtrack, that's.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Right one way or another. They were gonna get on
- 1:28Speaker 1: that Spidy two soundtrack that was gonna be it was
- 1:32Speaker 1: gonna be the best Spider Man movie. So they just
- 1:35Speaker 1: they cheated the system.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Somehow.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Yeah, probably all that praying they do, aren't they like
- 1:40Speaker 1: a Christian rock band.
- 1:42Speaker 2: They're in the P and W groups. I'm not talking
- 1:45Speaker 2: about those dudes always had such cool fucking guitar rigs.
- 1:51Speaker 2: But they all had the same thing.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it was kind of crazy.
- 1:55Speaker 2: I mean, I was definitely introduced to some cool ship
- 1:57Speaker 2: via like church be guitar board or pedal boards. There
- 2:02Speaker 2: was definitely a theme with most of them.
- 2:04Speaker 1: They all like, yeah, I saw a mean the other
- 2:07Speaker 1: day that was like the gnarliest guitar uh, like pedal
- 2:12Speaker 1: boards set up or whatever. And it's like, all right,
- 2:14Speaker 1: we get it. You playing a church band.
- 2:16Speaker 2: It's like that, right. They always have the glass baffle
- 2:21Speaker 2: in front of your aunt.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Several ant modelers. Yeah, like like two campers on there
- 2:32Speaker 1: for some reason. It's like, what the fuck?
- 2:35Speaker 2: Why is that? Even years ago? It's nuts Jesus brought you.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Actually, I love a ridiculous pedal board that doesn't need
- 2:49Speaker 1: to be.
- 2:49Speaker 2: There, Oh dude. Yeah.
- 2:54Speaker 1: So this soundtrack quite a bit different than the rest
- 2:57Speaker 1: of them that we've listened to so far, very very
- 3:02Speaker 1: two thousand and four, and uh man, I you know,
- 3:08Speaker 1: I couldn't find a song on here that I hated, Like.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I thought you were going to mention the lack of creed. Well, yeah,
- 3:15Speaker 2: I did notice that.
- 3:16Speaker 1: I think that's always going to be a parent from
- 3:18Speaker 1: the like this needed a little creed. If you know,
- 3:22Speaker 1: I don't know what hubistinks. Song is supposed to be
- 3:25Speaker 1: on here. It's called did you which.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I had to have a couple of them on YouTube.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Okay, see, I didn't know about those until I pulled
- 3:35Speaker 1: it up on my computer, like just now.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I knew because like if you look, it says
- 3:42Speaker 2: like if you go on Spotify, it'll say sixteen songs
- 3:45Speaker 2: or something like that, and definitely not sixteen songs there. No,
- 3:48Speaker 2: that's usually the first indicator for me. Yeah, and I
- 3:51Speaker 2: got looking and I also like to just for continuity,
- 3:55Speaker 2: to make sure that like this is actually what it's
- 3:57Speaker 2: supposed to look like to me and Adrian aren't listening
- 3:59Speaker 2: to the fuck and completely different track.
- 4:02Speaker 1: That's okay, I'm doing the bare minimum apparently, because I
- 4:05Speaker 1: didn't pay attention to that at all, and I just
- 4:09Speaker 1: trusted the phone, which I think I'm learning now I
- 4:11Speaker 1: can't trust my phone. I just gotta go to what
- 4:13Speaker 1: I need. Maybe I just need to go straight.
- 4:15Speaker 2: To get the chocolate. No, you need to have the
- 4:18Speaker 2: cho because then you would have already been on YouTube,
- 4:21Speaker 2: because you would not be fucking on Spotify. That's true.
- 4:23Speaker 1: I've been ripping them things using a YouTube converter website.
- 4:27Speaker 2: Bro. I saw a TikTok the other day of this girl.
- 4:31Speaker 2: She had a motorole eraser and she was like in
- 4:35Speaker 2: tears or not. She wasn't in tears or maybe tear emojisus.
- 4:38Speaker 2: She was talking like help. The sim card says two
- 4:42Speaker 2: G twog isn't a fucking thing anymore. And so I
- 4:45Speaker 2: get in the comments and somebody's like, look up the
- 4:48Speaker 2: I don't know what it was called off top of
- 4:49Speaker 2: my head now, but there's like a razor equivalent that's
- 4:53Speaker 2: unlocked for fifty dollars on Amazon that you can just
- 4:57Speaker 2: just a fucking flip phone. I'll send you a leank.
- 5:00Speaker 2: It's Imby on Amazon. Yeah, it was like fifty bucks.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Light that bad boy up. I mean a sipping an
- 5:07Speaker 2: eye daddy.
- 5:07Speaker 1: Oh dude, I got I still got the bed j Yeah,
- 5:12Speaker 1: back to it. It was hold, what do you got there?
- 5:17Speaker 2: Sixteen? Or dude? Oh damn.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I saw a sick ass shirt at Walmart the other
- 5:23Speaker 1: day that just said iHeart diet coke and I I
- 5:27Speaker 1: should have got it. I got the Doctor Pepper standard. Yeah,
- 5:32Speaker 1: I got the Doctor Pepper cut off instead.
- 5:35Speaker 2: But there's a tough call. Man is the tough Yeah,
- 5:38Speaker 2: I get it. Yeah, I grabbed a big League chew
- 5:42Speaker 2: shirt at Walmart recently. That was a good on that. Yeah,
- 5:48Speaker 2: while we're on deck to dude, just drinks, that's right. Yeah. Yeah.
- 5:55Speaker 1: You never know what you're gonna need when you're you know, recording. Yeah,
- 6:01Speaker 1: it's really exactly the highest.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Quality DC an hydration.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I thought I was gonna need to. I thought I
- 6:11Speaker 1: was going to be shut down for the week. Dude,
- 6:12Speaker 1: I was sick, like I think I had I can't
- 6:15Speaker 1: remember what it's called now, short COVID, Yeah, like COVID,
- 6:20Speaker 1: COVID sixty nine or something. It like blasted me hard,
- 6:24Speaker 1: freaking yeah, I was getting nervous. I thought I thought
- 6:28Speaker 1: doctor Fauci hit me with the COVID.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I was fucking struggling. It like came and went pretty quick, luckily.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it was weird.
- 6:39Speaker 1: It was weird.
- 6:40Speaker 2: It really was. Yeah.
- 6:42Speaker 1: Yeah, well actually it was. I got sick last week
- 6:45Speaker 1: and then it kind of went away while I was
- 6:47Speaker 1: at work, although not fully because like I think I
- 6:52Speaker 1: just ca yeah. I was just like, you know, I'm
- 6:54Speaker 1: going to work. I'll just fucking I'll just anyway. I'm yeah,
- 6:59Speaker 1: it doesn't matter. And then like when I was on
- 7:01Speaker 1: break at work, I noticed my legs had like broke
- 7:03Speaker 1: out in a rash, and I was like, oh fuck.
- 7:05Speaker 1: I was like I might still be uh, you know,
- 7:09Speaker 1: I probably did. I woke up and like I woke
- 7:11Speaker 1: up with the craziest shivers the other day, Like, yeah, yeah,
- 7:22Speaker 1: it was bad. I was just like my eyes were bleeding.
- 7:28Speaker 2: I'm just high. Yeah.
- 7:31Speaker 1: I think that's probably what my manager was assuming at
- 7:35Speaker 1: the time. The fu's been smoking weed on breaking. Yeah,
- 7:44Speaker 1: and he got the Queen of the Damn soundtrack on there.
- 7:49Speaker 1: I'm just gonna have all three, every soundtrack we do,
- 7:52Speaker 1: I'm just gonna add it to the playlist. So it
- 7:54Speaker 1: just becomes this like never ending movie soundtrack playlist. Honestly though,
- 7:59Speaker 1: this I'm gonna give this one like some you know,
- 8:02Speaker 1: some listens off the clock, you know what I mean.
- 8:05Speaker 1: I like this soundtrack for Spider Man too quite a bit.
- 8:08Speaker 2: Yeah, there were some heaters on this for sure. This
- 8:10Speaker 2: just kept funneling me back to the second Taking Back
- 8:13Speaker 2: Sunday album though. Yeah, every time I got to that song,
- 8:16Speaker 2: and then when I would finish the album and it
- 8:18Speaker 2: ended on to Danny Elfman like score or like score
- 8:23Speaker 2: but yeah anything, Yeah, those like after that and then boom,
- 8:27Speaker 2: Taking Back Sunday songs would start. Yeah, so that was cool.
- 8:31Speaker 2: I've been back on that lately. That ruled.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Yeah, that song kicks ass. We were jamming it last
- 8:36Speaker 1: night pretty hard and everybody was getting down to it.
- 8:39Speaker 2: So that's always a good song. It wasn't.
- 8:41Speaker 1: It wasn't a Queen of the Damn situation where I
- 8:43Speaker 1: got it playing and everybody in the house is like,
- 8:45Speaker 1: get that fucking bullshit off the bluetooth.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Like, oh, crowd pleasers, just a much more family friendly
- 8:52Speaker 2: crowd for sure. Yeah.
- 8:54Speaker 1: So yeah, track one, we kick it off with Vindicated,
- 8:57Speaker 1: and this is one where it's like, dude, you got
- 8:59Speaker 1: to watch out where you listen to this song. You
- 9:02Speaker 1: can't do this in public as a man. You're gonna
- 9:04Speaker 1: be crying and ship like ugly.
- 9:07Speaker 2: Yeah. When I when I first saw this, I was
- 9:09Speaker 2: kind of scoffed at God, and then man, did you know.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Did you know this song was written for this movie,
- 9:17Speaker 2: for this soundtrack?
- 9:18Speaker 1: No, I didn't. That's crazy.
- 9:20Speaker 2: What.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a banger, it's one of the DC's best.
- 9:25Speaker 2: It's a it's a fucking choice choice cut. I do
- 9:29Speaker 2: like this song, yeah, dude.
- 9:31Speaker 1: Yeah, Like it was one of those where, like I
- 9:34Speaker 1: probably passed on this song a lot in high school,
- 9:37Speaker 1: and when it came on it, you know, as a
- 9:40Speaker 1: grown man, it hit or I was like, all right,
- 9:42Speaker 1: this is pretty fucking good. Honestly, you did a good job. Yeah, yeah,
- 9:49Speaker 1: I know, I know.
- 9:49Speaker 2: I was like, well, we're the late thirties, you're you
- 9:54Speaker 2: just you gotta give. But the stuff we do hate,
- 9:59Speaker 2: I feel like we kind of get it narrowed down, like, yeah,
- 10:01Speaker 2: I don't like this.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I found a lot of that last week, the
- 10:08Speaker 1: last one. I mean, dude, this was like this was
- 10:11Speaker 1: such a refresher compared to.
- 10:13Speaker 2: The last sound Absolutely. Yeah. I enjoyed that.
- 10:16Speaker 1: There might be one song on here that I could
- 10:18Speaker 1: have done without, and we're gonna get to it really soon.
- 10:21Speaker 2: There were something that I enjoyed making fun of. Yeah, yeah,
- 10:25Speaker 2: for sure.
- 10:26Speaker 1: It's almost like the bands that were attached to some
- 10:30Speaker 1: of the songs. I was like, oh, yeah, it's a
- 10:32Speaker 1: fucking dumb band. But then the song I was like,
- 10:35Speaker 1: you know what, it's actually an alright song. Maybe I
- 10:37Speaker 1: was wrong about these guys.
- 10:39Speaker 2: Yeah, there was there was a song on this that
- 10:42Speaker 2: I heard that it was a band that I had
- 10:45Speaker 2: never really fucked with, and I enjoyed the song very much.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Which one was it? I'm just kidding, Oh yeah, no, yeah,
- 10:54Speaker 1: that's yeah.
- 10:54Speaker 2: That's not a band that was ever really on my radar,
- 10:57Speaker 2: Like I've always been aware of them.
- 10:59Speaker 1: But well that's because they just have the one song
- 11:02Speaker 1: that's a cover and that's.
- 11:03Speaker 2: It really you know.
- 11:05Speaker 1: Well, yeah, they have the cover of Boys of Summer
- 11:08Speaker 1: and it's like it's one of those covers that's like damn,
- 11:11Speaker 1: this is like this could beat out the original, Like
- 11:14Speaker 1: this could.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Be the better version of this song, you know.
- 11:16Speaker 1: I mean check it out.
- 11:17Speaker 2: I'm gonna have to give it a good Yeah.
- 11:19Speaker 1: And that's like the only song by them i'd heard,
- 11:22Speaker 1: and uh, and yeah, I really enjoyed that song on
- 11:24Speaker 1: the This was.
- 11:28Speaker 2: The title It's the Lights Went Out where Wait a minute,
- 11:34Speaker 2: did they hang an innocent man ude? Dude?
- 11:37Speaker 1: That would have been sick if they cover that they
- 11:40Speaker 1: might have been one of those bands that just needed
- 11:43Speaker 1: to be a cover band and just like do cool covers.
- 11:46Speaker 2: Or they were just a pop punk band and pop
- 11:50Speaker 2: punk band, or.
- 11:51Speaker 1: In the early two thousands was just easy to get overlooked.
- 11:56Speaker 2: They were too busy with women in their own age bracket. Yeah,
- 12:00Speaker 2: just kind of got passed on.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, but I think.
- 12:04Speaker 2: The kids weren't crazy on them.
- 12:06Speaker 1: They kind of outshine themselves with boys this summer after that,
- 12:10Speaker 1: everybody was like, nah, we're grown too old. The Dashboard
- 12:22Speaker 1: Confessional song that is my go to is that song,
- 12:25Speaker 1: hands down, that's like the Oh dude, you gotta.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Might be the only Daily Brock mentioned. He was like,
- 12:36Speaker 2: oh my god, dude, that's they do. Both look like
- 12:38Speaker 2: the slim Gym guy. They are there, That's what I said.
- 12:43Speaker 2: I was like, they are the slim.
- 12:44Speaker 1: Gym I was gonna say, we need to we need
- 12:47Speaker 1: to get a mash up video going. I might just
- 12:50Speaker 1: have to find a bunch of clips of the slim
- 12:53Speaker 1: Gym guy from the commercials and mix it in with
- 12:55Speaker 1: like power Man five thousand and static X music videos
- 12:58Speaker 1: and just see that work. Yeah, see if you can.
- 13:02Speaker 1: How many see if you can pick out which ones
- 13:03Speaker 1: wish while it's going between the strobe lights and all
- 13:06Speaker 1: the jumping. I don't think you'll be able to do it.
- 13:10Speaker 1: I'm sure the Slingden guy is probably bmxing at some point.
- 13:13Speaker 2: Might it might be.
- 13:15Speaker 1: I think he was an unlockable character in the Dave
- 13:17Speaker 1: Mirror game. Yeah, so yep, you know that we might
- 13:23Speaker 1: need to do the video game soundtracks. Yes, that might be.
- 13:32Speaker 2: Worth Yeah, I think that was on one of the
- 13:38Speaker 2: BMX ones, Toot Hoffman or something. Yeah, there was Sweet Games.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, Yeah, that Dave Mirror BMX game was.
- 13:52Speaker 1: It was up there with Tony Hawk for me. Whenever
- 13:54Speaker 1: I first got my hands on it, I couldn't believe
- 13:56Speaker 1: how good.
- 13:57Speaker 2: It was, Like what was the bar? Then? Yeah?
- 14:00Speaker 1: It was probably to where it's like you can't even manual.
- 14:04Speaker 1: It's like fuck now.
- 14:06Speaker 2: It's like you're spoiled playing skate two and you're like,
- 14:09Speaker 2: oh my god, I can't hippie flip. Oh I got
- 14:13Speaker 2: a glitch it to hippie flip.
- 14:15Speaker 1: I can't write a handstand down the side of the building.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Bullshit, Oh my god, I can't finger flip out of
- 14:22Speaker 2: Christ there. Actually, yeah, I can do that.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I still don't play skate too for real. Yeah, I
- 14:31Speaker 1: don't think I have. I think I might have played
- 14:33Speaker 1: Skate one.
- 14:36Speaker 2: I'm from someone that's not much of a video gamer.
- 14:39Speaker 2: That's might be my favorite video game ever.
- 14:41Speaker 1: Yeah damn.
- 14:43Speaker 2: So take that how you how you will? Because I
- 14:45Speaker 2: just play a lot of video games. Game on the
- 14:47Speaker 2: PS five that it's like, I don't know, these little
- 14:50Speaker 2: critters that go around and like unlock like old PlayStation
- 14:54Speaker 2: parts and stuff, and it like tests the physics of
- 14:58Speaker 2: your controller, like to she'll tell you how it works. Okay,
- 15:02Speaker 2: yeah you do, like you and like like there's a
- 15:04Speaker 2: part where you have to blow on on the controller
- 15:06Speaker 2: to get this thing to spin. And it's weird, dude,
- 15:10Speaker 2: that is weird. I don't know.
- 15:11Speaker 1: If that game, i'd be fucking sweating the old day. Yeah,
- 15:17Speaker 1: you shift your eyes to the left. It's watching you, right.
- 15:22Speaker 2: You end up having a seizure.
- 15:24Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the static Eggs video comes on. Swallow your
- 15:30Speaker 1: tingue the strobe hit your eyes like mad two directions, No,
- 15:36Speaker 1: what is that?
- 15:37Speaker 2: Sean Williams Scott was like a bank robber or something.
- 15:40Speaker 2: They so they had this big party and they were
- 15:43Speaker 2: trying to break into this bank that was next to
- 15:46Speaker 2: a building, and like the they had to get so
- 15:49Speaker 2: loud so that when they were drilling through or something,
- 15:51Speaker 2: it wouldn't set off the alarms because the noise was
- 15:54Speaker 2: already so high. And this one dude that was on
- 15:56Speaker 2: his team was coming down and like had a seizure
- 15:59Speaker 2: and oh fuck brain linked to seizure to that right
- 16:03Speaker 2: there in that moment.
- 16:04Speaker 1: I'll have to watch that movie now, I'll put on
- 16:06Speaker 1: my watch list. Yeah, I've been wanting to watch some
- 16:10Speaker 1: some different stuff lately. I've been watching some older movies. Yeah,
- 16:15Speaker 1: recently going back to the fit to the fifties and
- 16:19Speaker 1: checking out some classics and really, dude, they've been they've
- 16:23Speaker 1: been holding up. I was like a little skeptical, but man,
- 16:26Speaker 1: like what The Night of the Hunter is a good one.
- 16:31Speaker 1: It's it's one I always hear that. Everyone's always like, oh,
- 16:34Speaker 1: it's like a ten out of ten movie, like great movie.
- 16:37Speaker 1: So finally put it on because it's on to B
- 16:39Speaker 1: and yeah, it was. It was fantastic. It's kind of
- 16:41Speaker 1: like a somewhat of like a story that's been done
- 16:46Speaker 1: a bunch of times, you know, but it's just the
- 16:49Speaker 1: way they do it and acting and everything's really good.
- 16:52Speaker 1: I feel like I've noticed a lot of movies around,
- 16:54Speaker 1: like the fifties kind of feel like plays more than
- 16:57Speaker 1: what we know is like movies nowadays. You got to
- 17:00Speaker 1: kind of get into that mindset of like, oh, is
- 17:03Speaker 1: going to feel more like I'm watching life.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:08Speaker 1: And the other one was Twelve Angry Men. That one
- 17:10Speaker 1: is really good, and uh yeah, it's been redone, but
- 17:14Speaker 1: like the fifties version, I mean, it's really good and
- 17:18Speaker 1: it's It was one I was super skeptical about because
- 17:21Speaker 1: the whole movie takes place with just these twelve jurors
- 17:24Speaker 1: deliberating over this guy's sentence and that's the entire movie.
- 17:28Speaker 1: You're in the you're in the room with him for
- 17:31Speaker 1: like an hour and a half or whatever, and that's yeah,
- 17:33Speaker 1: and that's the whole movie. And I was thinking, like, dude,
- 17:35Speaker 1: there's no way this isn't gonna get kind of boring,
- 17:38Speaker 1: you know what I mean. Yeah, it was not a
- 17:41Speaker 1: moment that I was ever like choked out. Yeah, it
- 17:44Speaker 1: held up. There's a reason why they're classics, I guess.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Reason why people just keep ripping that off instead of.
- 17:51Speaker 1: Right, yeah, exactly, just always recycle it say that. Speaking
- 17:58Speaker 1: of recycling movies, spider Man too. We got the new
- 18:01Speaker 1: spider Man that just came out.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Another another, we got so many spider Man.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Spidery. Dude, I'd be down for a new metal.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Ice House mix. Oh yeah, so Cold, So Cold, ice
- 18:20Speaker 2: House edit or radio edit, ice House mixed ice Berg.
- 18:23Speaker 2: What was it that was a good one?
- 18:25Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I think it was the ice House or
- 18:30Speaker 1: ice Chest or something. Let me see, I got it
- 18:32Speaker 1: right here, Deep Freeze mixed Cold, So Cold, too cold.
- 18:40Speaker 1: The Deep Freeze is honestly dangerous to even be in there.
- 18:43Speaker 2: Yeah, you don't want to be in there too long.
- 18:47Speaker 1: What's your favorite Spider Man movie before we get on
- 18:50Speaker 1: the track too.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I don't know. The first tebe McGuire one. I like
- 18:54Speaker 2: a lot. That one's solid. Yeah, yeah, probably that one.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I'd say it's.
- 19:02Speaker 2: The Tom Holland ones.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, I think the first two Tom Holland ones
- 19:08Speaker 1: are decent, and then I think the third one is
- 19:11Speaker 1: really fucking dumb.
- 19:13Speaker 2: It's kind of fun though.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Because they bring back like, uh, they bring back Toby
- 19:17Speaker 1: and Andrew Garfield for it, and so like the last
- 19:20Speaker 1: thirty minutes are pretty good, but dude, the first like
- 19:24Speaker 1: hour and a half that you're waiting for the last
- 19:26Speaker 1: thirty minutes is like complete bullshit. They basically just they
- 19:30Speaker 1: do like the Uncle Ben thing, but with Aunt May,
- 19:33Speaker 1: you know, they try to make it like all emotional
- 19:35Speaker 1: where it's like Tom Holland really hasn't had that Uncle
- 19:38Speaker 1: Ben moment. So then Aunt May is like she's like
- 19:43Speaker 1: kind of being at SJW where she like takes all
- 19:45Speaker 1: the villains into their apartment and she's like, they got
- 19:49Speaker 1: all these they're misunderstood, Peter, they got to live with
- 19:52Speaker 1: us now, and so she's got like the fucking dog
- 19:54Speaker 1: Hawk and like all these crazy motherfuckers like living in
- 19:58Speaker 1: their apartment. And then they kill her. Yeah, and she's
- 20:01Speaker 1: still just like, don't judge him, Peter or something like that,
- 20:05Speaker 1: and he's just like, no, I'm gonna fucking kill him
- 20:07Speaker 1: now or something. I don't really remember. I just remember
- 20:10Speaker 1: that was really it metaphor yeah, something like that. I
- 20:17Speaker 1: was kind of like, damn, this is dumb as hell,
- 20:19Speaker 1: Like this is just give me the three spiders and
- 20:23Speaker 1: get that.
- 20:23Speaker 2: Just throw fucking nets. Come on, dude, do the thing.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Get Aunt Jane, Aunt May the fuck out of my
- 20:29Speaker 1: face with this live in my apartment type of ship.
- 20:32Speaker 1: Oh ship, Like you're not gonna have like the fucking
- 20:35Speaker 1: Rhino living in your damn apartment, bitch, what's wrong with you?
- 20:40Speaker 1: But yeah, I'd say mine's probably either a Spider Man
- 20:42Speaker 1: one or two. The Toby Yeah, the Toby Verse.
- 20:46Speaker 2: I remember seeing this one actually in the theater in Shelbyville,
- 20:50Speaker 2: like it was when Chappelle's show was really big. So
- 20:53Speaker 2: like Donnel Rawlings is in like one of the opening scenes.
- 20:57Speaker 2: That's that's always sticks out in my head going back
- 21:00Speaker 2: to this movie. Hell yeah, I don't know what. He
- 21:06Speaker 2: probably something within the content along the line. Damn. Oh man,
- 21:20Speaker 2: that's awesome, everybody, I know.
- 21:25Speaker 1: Yeah, I was bummed out to see like some sort
- 21:28Speaker 1: of recent thing where he was just like going off
- 21:30Speaker 1: and like stormed off of some showy pissed off about
- 21:34Speaker 1: nobody respects him.
- 21:36Speaker 2: It's like one time and I saw a clip of it.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Just yeah, seemed like kind of a shitty dude. Now
- 21:44Speaker 1: it's too bad. It happens to the best of them.
- 21:48Speaker 1: I guess happened to them anyway.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Oh man.
- 21:52Speaker 1: Okay, so track two we have Ordinary by the band
- 21:56Speaker 1: Train and this ain't no this Jupiter, dude, this.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Is a fucking bad boy here. Immediately when the piano
- 22:07Speaker 2: came in, at first, immediate thought was like evan essence
- 22:12Speaker 2: or something. And then the dude comes in on his vocals, Hey,
- 22:17Speaker 2: soul sister, and then the guitar comes in like a
- 22:22Speaker 2: fuck is a drop d risks?
- 22:24Speaker 1: Yeah, face yeah, no, he's about to start chugging on
- 22:31Speaker 1: the rist dude. Hey. I was like, he's like one
- 22:35Speaker 1: wrist flick away from chugging.
- 22:37Speaker 2: Yeah. This got snubbed from Scream three for sure.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Yeah, this could have been a screen three hit.
- 22:44Speaker 2: I think this was actually written for the movie too.
- 22:46Speaker 2: I think I saw that somewhere really man on the media.
- 22:49Speaker 2: That's that's really interesting. I think does that happen as
- 22:54Speaker 2: much nowadays? I feel like I don't hear that, you know, Yeah,
- 22:57Speaker 2: I feel like it's just whatever's whatever hits are out there,
- 23:01Speaker 2: you know, waiting to be bought. That they just like
- 23:06Speaker 2: it still sounded like train though. Yeah, Like there's definitely
- 23:11Speaker 2: a ukulele buried in the mix somewhere.
- 23:15Speaker 1: He's chugging along on the ukulele. Yeah, the guy's just
- 23:24Speaker 1: like cranking his mesa boogy. He's like get the fucking
- 23:27Speaker 1: you know, the guitar player he wants to, he wants
- 23:31Speaker 1: to riff, but you know this, Yeah, the singer's just
- 23:37Speaker 1: got the you cranked up and he cannot he can't
- 23:40Speaker 1: let it go.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Strange to Yeah, he is.
- 23:45Speaker 1: I see the videos of him on like those bike
- 23:48Speaker 1: powered cards you know that people take around towns, and
- 23:51Speaker 1: he's just like belting drops a Jupiter as loud as
- 23:54Speaker 1: he can. Like I'm just like, I'm just I'm just
- 24:00Speaker 1: waiting for somebody to like spear him off the train,
- 24:03Speaker 1: like like while filming a tick took a train. Yeah,
- 24:08Speaker 1: train off the train, dude. Maybe that's when he's yeah, dude,
- 24:15Speaker 1: get him.
- 24:16Speaker 2: What could have been? All right?
- 24:20Speaker 1: Maybe when AI hits its peak, we'll finally get that,
- 24:27Speaker 1: we'll get trained in Aussie.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Maybe he did a song like m g K. Maybe
- 24:33Speaker 2: he did a song with the dude from train.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Maybe he probably did. Speaking of great covers, m g
- 24:39Speaker 1: K got about an album's worth, I think he might
- 24:42Speaker 1: have one of the most uh powerful misery business covers
- 24:47Speaker 1: I've ever heard in my life.
- 24:50Speaker 2: It's it's a good one.
- 24:52Speaker 1: We might have to do an m g K cover
- 24:55Speaker 1: song episode at some point. Just the most toned fucking
- 25:00Speaker 1: sound and ship you can imagine.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Dude, he fucking sucks.
- 25:06Speaker 1: He does fucking suck. Man, that's one of those guys
- 25:10Speaker 1: like I could just the Yeah, just the shittiest dude
- 25:16Speaker 1: has to be completely uh unaware of, you know, everything
- 25:22Speaker 1: going on around n g K. Could he could rotten
- 25:27Speaker 1: hell for all I care.
- 25:29Speaker 2: I argue with you about it. Yeah, dude, wrestling last week? Yeah?
- 25:36Speaker 1: How was that?
- 25:37Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 25:37Speaker 1: I saw some pics.
- 25:40Speaker 2: It was a lot of fun, really good time. Some
- 25:42Speaker 2: smells in there bad.
- 25:46Speaker 1: I bet those things attract some creatures.
- 25:49Speaker 2: There were some critters.
- 25:52Speaker 1: How are the pyros?
- 25:55Speaker 2: I think they were just turning the lights on fast.
- 26:00Speaker 2: I don't think there was might skimping on the pirate. Yeah,
- 26:04Speaker 2: they were saving it off summer.
- 26:06Speaker 1: I see that makes sense. Vince McMahon's gotta cut back
- 26:10Speaker 1: a little. Is he still show?
- 26:13Speaker 2: Vince has been gone, bro, He's.
- 26:15Speaker 1: Been gone ever since the poop on the head thing.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, she s so okay, Yeah the show.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Vince might have called in another favor from old brock
- 26:32Speaker 1: Lesnar to take care of her whatever. I remember watching
- 26:38Speaker 1: a vid on that when it first came out and
- 26:40Speaker 1: just being what the fuck then like you step back
- 26:44Speaker 1: and you're like, yeah, yeah, seems like a guy that
- 26:51Speaker 1: would have diary on someone's head and just got straight
- 26:54Speaker 1: to the.
- 26:54Speaker 2: Shower asking for pics.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Yeah, get the stream.
- 27:02Speaker 2: Yeah you show me like Bron Lesner and just the
- 27:06Speaker 2: regular guy and asked me if I thought one of
- 27:09Speaker 2: them was asking a woman for pictures of her pissing, Like, yeah,
- 27:14Speaker 2: this dude with the big dagger tattoo, right, I can
- 27:18Speaker 2: see it.
- 27:19Speaker 1: He looks like he might be into that.
- 27:21Speaker 2: He looks like he has some requests. I'm not gonna
- 27:24Speaker 2: call him weird. Yeah, same big brock, Big.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Bron practically a permanent flat top on his head, you know, yeah,
- 27:34Speaker 1: and her.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Flat top on his bottom teeth. Have you ever seen
- 27:37Speaker 2: those guys? I have that they're scared, but sometimes straight
- 27:44Speaker 2: they no, they're like ground down dude, Like its looks
- 27:48Speaker 2: like straight nerve in the middle. Odd. I don't know.
- 27:52Speaker 2: I'm sure there's a story there. I know they've asked
- 27:54Speaker 2: him why he wouldn't get him fixed, and he's like,
- 27:56Speaker 2: I don't know, fucking wrestle and I live in the
- 28:00Speaker 2: cod and someone, yeah, why.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Why would I do that? He's probably chewing down the trees.
- 28:07Speaker 2: He's fucking chewing, fucking backer.
- 28:09Speaker 1: Baby, fucking beaver man out there's damning up.
- 28:16Speaker 2: He's out there taking over there, like damning up the
- 28:20Speaker 2: streams so he can get water to his land.
- 28:22Speaker 1: That's right, he's a.
- 28:26Speaker 2: Yeah, the outdoors and pictures of women, pissing.
- 28:35Speaker 1: Brother ready to go to work, just gets his axe
- 28:39Speaker 1: out and starts cutting out the logs.
- 28:41Speaker 2: You think brock Lesnar would like this train song. I
- 28:44Speaker 2: think he would. This train song feels like This train
- 28:49Speaker 2: song feels like there was a movie about a fucking
- 28:52Speaker 2: Creed or about a band, and Creed did all the music,
- 28:54Speaker 2: but they were under contract so they couldn't perform the
- 28:57Speaker 2: songs on the soundtrack, so they called it a favor
- 29:02Speaker 2: to the dude for fucking train.
- 29:04Speaker 1: He's like, honestly, give it a shot. Sure, what's the Yeah,
- 29:12Speaker 1: I'll do it. I'll sing like you, Scott. I mean, honestly,
- 29:15Speaker 1: who else would you get? You'd get trained. You might
- 29:18Speaker 1: get several of the bands on this thing. You definitely
- 29:21Speaker 1: get Jet on them. Yeah, probably switch Foot, even though
- 29:23Speaker 1: they're not supposed to be on here. You know the
- 29:30Speaker 1: thing I know we said the lack of Creed on
- 29:32Speaker 1: this album is obvious as in most albums without Creed.
- 29:36Speaker 1: What about the lack of Hero by Chad Kroeger and
- 29:39Speaker 1: the guy from What Saliva?
- 29:42Speaker 2: Well, so one of these Jose Scott rather put some respect.
- 29:47Speaker 2: One of these sounded like one of these songs at
- 29:50Speaker 2: the beginning of it reminded me of the beginning of Hero.
- 29:54Speaker 2: But then I went and played Hero and forgot. There
- 29:56Speaker 2: was like a drum roll intro.
- 29:58Speaker 1: Yeah, drum roll into the splash.
- 30:01Speaker 2: Shut that whole thought process down. Well, sometimes I'm wrong,
- 30:06Speaker 2: my wife.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, he hit the classic drum roll into the
- 30:12Speaker 1: splash symbol on that.
- 30:15Speaker 2: I'm so what a Why didn't reduce Spider Man one?
- 30:22Speaker 1: I know I was thinking that too.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Well, hanging through we knew that that song was gonna
- 30:27Speaker 2: be too easy. I know.
- 30:30Speaker 1: I'm curious to see what we gotta do Spider Man
- 30:33Speaker 1: one at some point. Now, I don't know if we
- 30:35Speaker 1: can do it next to to keep up with the
- 30:38Speaker 1: continuity of not doing any of the same franchises in
- 30:41Speaker 1: a row. Maybe we'll do a different soundtrack next Spider Man. Yeah,
- 30:46Speaker 1: you know, maybe we'll do an Andrew Garfield Spider Man next.
- 30:49Speaker 2: Since maybe there's some music on that one.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Yeah, since we got the Spider Man hype going on
- 30:55Speaker 1: right now with this new movie, maybe that'll bring extra
- 30:58Speaker 1: views to the video. You know, jump on that Okay,
- 31:03Speaker 1: jump on them coattails.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Dude, jump on that web tail baby, That's what I'm saying.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Get some extra money.
- 31:16Speaker 2: They're gonna start double taxing Thomas and listen. Yeah, like
- 31:21Speaker 2: a package deal here right, Like, dude, they're like in
- 31:24Speaker 2: every movie together. I know, I wonder if I wonder
- 31:29Speaker 2: if that's a thing they like the.
- 31:33Speaker 1: Other Yeah, you know, yeah, Tom gets cast and he's
- 31:37Speaker 1: just like, you know, I know the perfect person for
- 31:40Speaker 1: this female role that you got here. They're like, oh yeah,
- 31:43Speaker 1: who would that be?
- 31:44Speaker 2: Zin day. I just walks in. I'm actually here already.
- 31:52Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm in character, and they're just like, yeah, why not?
- 31:57Speaker 1: Why why wouldn't we?
- 31:59Speaker 2: Why not?
- 32:00Speaker 1: You guys can ride together? Save us a lot of
- 32:03Speaker 1: fucking money. I guess a lot of time and money.
- 32:05Speaker 2: In this economy. You cannot know. So do you remember
- 32:11Speaker 2: we had like I had made a comment about following
- 32:15Speaker 2: a song from like this song was on this one,
- 32:19Speaker 2: and then we do it. We do this movie that
- 32:21Speaker 2: had this song like oh change the deaftone song change
- 32:27Speaker 2: was on House or Poet of the Damn and then
- 32:30Speaker 2: it was also on Little Nikki, and like there was
- 32:32Speaker 2: something on Little Nikki that was on I got like
- 32:35Speaker 2: six movies away doing that. I have written down somewhere. Okay, yeah,
- 32:39Speaker 2: I'll show it to you sometime. But like I was like,
- 32:42Speaker 2: this would just get tiring eventually, Yeah, it would be
- 32:45Speaker 2: it's a cool premise, but.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Yeah, eventually I think it would be like all right, well,
- 32:50Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 32:51Speaker 2: It felt like we were like felt forced eventually, right,
- 32:56Speaker 2: a bullshit one because this power Antide thousand songs, it's.
- 33:03Speaker 1: The only other soundtrack that let them all right, it's
- 33:06Speaker 1: just that song. Yeah, it's like, yeah, we're doing the
- 33:10Speaker 1: soundtrack to Hostile too, because it also has power Man
- 33:14Speaker 1: five thousands on here.
- 33:16Speaker 2: You he couldn't get anyone else to answer. Apparently you
- 33:23Speaker 2: just make some industrial but rock bro man. So, speaking
- 33:35Speaker 2: of Scream three, this Houba Sneak song, well, uh.
- 33:40Speaker 1: So you'll have to let me, Yeah, you'll have to
- 33:45Speaker 1: let me know about these songs.
- 33:47Speaker 2: Was very very go to your room cores like some
- 33:51Speaker 2: of the Queen of the Damn songs, Mad Mad at
- 33:54Speaker 2: Dad on this one. I also did award. This one
- 33:58Speaker 2: the most scream three song on the album, so yeah,
- 34:03Speaker 2: definitely check it out, give it, give it a rip.
- 34:06Speaker 1: All right, I'll have to go back and like I said,
- 34:08Speaker 1: this album, I'm gonna listen to this one again. Hubis Stink.
- 34:16Speaker 1: I was hoping the reason by who the Stink would
- 34:18Speaker 1: be on here? That's my if I'm going to put
- 34:21Speaker 1: on Huba, that's what I want. Ye found a reason
- 34:25Speaker 1: to be.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Or crawling in the dark more an answer that was
- 34:30Speaker 2: pretty good too. Yeah, okay, yeah, I actually came on
- 34:34Speaker 2: on Spotify this week naturally. Oh don't love that. Not
- 34:41Speaker 2: gonna lie to you don't love that coming on?
- 34:43Speaker 1: No, Yeah, I still noticed the effects of doing this
- 34:48Speaker 1: quite a bit, Like I just keep getting more see
- 34:51Speaker 1: their songs on my playlist and I'm.
- 34:53Speaker 2: Like, h yeah, mine was getting real godsmack.
- 34:58Speaker 1: God smack song. Yeah yeah, it really does want to
- 35:01Speaker 1: push them for some reason, like they don't have enough,
- 35:06Speaker 1: you know, of a fan base already. It's trying to
- 35:08Speaker 1: You're crying like a bitch over real. You know, I
- 35:13Speaker 1: was gonna I was about to double up on my
- 35:14Speaker 1: eyebrow rings. Straight out the gate. Let's go to the
- 35:18Speaker 1: tattoo shops.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Does anybody have just one bunch of pussies? Mane if
- 35:22Speaker 2: the second one got ripped out in a fight, I
- 35:24Speaker 2: guess that would be true. I guess that's that's the
- 35:26Speaker 2: only acceptable way to have a single A single eyebrow ring.
- 35:31Speaker 1: Yeah, if you got the scar right next to it, right, yeah, Okay, Yeah,
- 35:36Speaker 1: he's badass.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Sorry, that's yeah, that's how that's Yeah. But other than that,
- 35:40Speaker 2: you've never seen anyone with one eyebrow ring. Like it's
- 35:43Speaker 2: always double triple quod fucked yeah to say you look
- 35:53Speaker 2: like you had a stroke faces fag hardware. I wonder
- 36:01Speaker 2: if David Daymond ever has trouble like keep his mouth
- 36:03Speaker 2: but like he's.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Doing this and ship.
- 36:10Speaker 2: Ah that it's just it just was him like clearing
- 36:15Speaker 2: his throat on accident in his mouth.
- 36:19Speaker 1: He takes that ship out and his jaw is just
- 36:21Speaker 1: like walks like that. Imagine his asset. Thanksgiving, dude, just
- 36:27Speaker 1: sitting down, You're just like all right, David's prayer. Ah,
- 36:40Speaker 1: It's like, oh boy, here we go. I can't have
- 36:43Speaker 1: a normal fucking holiday around here with David in the van.
- 36:48Speaker 2: No thanks Israel? Oh wait, no, he does think Israel.
- 36:53Speaker 2: He does that's okay. One way the David. Please again,
- 37:00Speaker 2: his grandma's a nice Jewish woman. Please, She's like an
- 37:06Speaker 2: Adam Sandler character.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Grandma set this one out. I got this.
- 37:21Speaker 2: Yeah, he probably did have a good relationship with his
- 37:24Speaker 2: grandma because of how things were. He was got county
- 37:29Speaker 2: his grandma.
- 37:31Speaker 1: He went straight to the grandma after he his mom was.
- 37:34Speaker 2: Idiot, Grandma should get that, pier.
- 37:42Speaker 1: Grandma, your daughter is a fucking bitch.
- 37:45Speaker 2: She fucking beats my ass all the time. She put
- 37:53Speaker 2: a hand in my face. Not agad bitch.
- 37:59Speaker 1: You know. Imagine he's just waiting behind the door in
- 38:02Speaker 1: his bedroom, like she comes up to whip his ass,
- 38:04Speaker 1: and he's like, he's like he's on. She just causes
- 38:16Speaker 1: on her like a wild animal.
- 38:17Speaker 2: She's like.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Catches her ass completely off. She's got like a length
- 38:27Speaker 1: of hose or something she's gonna whoop his ass with.
- 38:29Speaker 1: He just fucking starts wailing on her.
- 38:34Speaker 2: She has hose ye something in the house.
- 38:40Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like a length of it just to slam them.
- 38:45Speaker 1: He's probably getting his ass like by something like that.
- 38:48Speaker 1: That or like a ruler or a switch or something,
- 38:51Speaker 1: you know, one of those things.
- 38:55Speaker 2: He was.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Honestly, you know, you could hook his ass up to
- 39:01Speaker 1: the back of your car with one of those shipping rings. Dude,
- 39:06Speaker 1: take his ass for a ride.
- 39:07Speaker 2: He hates to a magnet coming. Oh my god, dude,
- 39:16Speaker 2: that fucking that the greatest hit of Disturbed video. That's
- 39:22Speaker 2: so good, dude.
- 39:25Speaker 1: It covers everything, it really does.
- 39:28Speaker 2: The dude just gets bored by the end of it.
- 39:34Speaker 2: I would like to.
- 39:34Speaker 1: See David Draymond beat his mom's ass. But like, say,
- 39:38Speaker 1: she comes into the room and he's like, you know
- 39:40Speaker 1: how Spider Man always hides on the ceiling. He's doing
- 39:44Speaker 1: one of those dudes, and she hears this chains.
- 39:47Speaker 2: Jingling and he's in there, but yeah, he like.
- 39:53Speaker 1: And she looks up and he just drops down on
- 39:55Speaker 1: her like a monster. The paratroops in on her, just
- 40:08Speaker 1: missile drop kicks her ass. It's real, bro.
- 40:16Speaker 2: This jet song after after the Hubistang song, though, yeah,
- 40:21Speaker 2: it was great. It was like, Okay, it didn't suck,
- 40:25Speaker 2: but it was like it didn't really sound like a
- 40:27Speaker 2: jet like that. I was expecting, I guess, yeah, I was.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Yeah, I was expecting like the darkness light or whatever
- 40:34Speaker 1: jet usually sounds like, you know, just kind of like
- 40:36Speaker 1: rock and roll but not yeah, not rocking. Yeah, yeah,
- 40:44Speaker 1: I want to hear. I want to hear a tambourine
- 40:46Speaker 1: on full blast was just like a pentatonic riff and
- 40:50Speaker 1: a major scale and that's it. Something something classic.
- 40:59Speaker 2: Maybe that was an eat of his song.
- 41:04Speaker 1: Yeah, some yea some uh was it choppy breathing going
- 41:08Speaker 1: on there? Who do you think was winning a table
- 41:12Speaker 1: ladder chair match Incubus, Sublime or three eleven?
- 41:15Speaker 2: I mean out of the gate, I would say it's
- 41:18Speaker 2: just on the number of members. Incubus, Yeah, like Isinger
- 41:21Speaker 2: is probably probably pretty quick. I don't know. Yeah, dude,
- 41:25Speaker 2: Sublime and who three eleven? Three eleven?
- 41:27Speaker 1: Yeah, those three table ladder chair match for the belt.
- 41:33Speaker 1: I think Incubus has more members than the rest of.
- 41:36Speaker 2: Them would give me. That's my only real my only
- 41:41Speaker 2: real insight on that is is they have more more people.
- 41:44Speaker 2: They have probably more dreads for remember than the other
- 41:46Speaker 2: two bands.
- 41:47Speaker 1: That's true. That should count for something. So yeah, yeah,
- 41:52Speaker 1: they might do more like high flying moves. I don't
- 41:54Speaker 1: see three eleven taking too many risks.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Well White, Yeah, Brandon Boyd always kind of dressed like
- 42:02Speaker 2: like Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy. Yeah, so like the wife
- 42:05Speaker 2: Beaters and ship so, like, I mean, I could you know,
- 42:07Speaker 2: I can fucking see Brandon Boyd fucking dude, hell yeah, hell.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Yeah, bro twist a fade off the top of the
- 42:16Speaker 1: ladder or something.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not close. Yeah, well, now that I think
- 42:21Speaker 2: about it.
- 42:22Speaker 1: It's not even close. I don't even think Sublime would
- 42:25Speaker 1: like be in the match. They would be like the
- 42:27Speaker 1: third tag team, uh that just gets beat up the
- 42:31Speaker 1: whole time because I just feel like they yeah, like this.
- 42:33Speaker 2: Maybe if the Dog comes in and like fucks everybody
- 42:36Speaker 2: up or something. Actually in the dark Horse here, Yeah.
- 42:40Speaker 1: Yeah, like when when they're getting ready to go, starts
- 42:42Speaker 1: chewing on their jinkos and pulls it down as they're
- 42:45Speaker 1: trying to get to the top of the ladder, and
- 42:47Speaker 1: then they fucking I don't know.
- 42:49Speaker 2: On Brandon Boyd's fucking ear lob.
- 42:51Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, that'd be pretty cool. I would watch that
- 42:59Speaker 1: match for sure, sure. Yeah, yeah, they could be an
- 43:02Speaker 1: old timer.
- 43:03Speaker 2: You bring back Celebrity death Match?
- 43:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I have the Celebrity Deathmatch BHS over here watch
- 43:09Speaker 1: Another Day. Yeah, well it's like recorded off TV. I
- 43:12Speaker 1: popped it in that. Yeah, I don't know, I don't
- 43:16Speaker 1: see it right now. The only thing I've seen right
- 43:18Speaker 1: now is Homeward Bound two, Alien three and Milo and
- 43:23Speaker 1: Otis Dude.
- 43:24Speaker 2: A lot of sad animal movies.
- 43:27Speaker 1: Was in the middle one, Alien three just the weird,
- 43:33Speaker 1: the nicest combination.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Yeah. I initially said a bunch of sad animal movies,
- 43:38Speaker 2: but I mean that is, you know, a sad animal movie. Yeah,
- 43:41Speaker 2: they do.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Depending on which version you watch, the Aliens either take
- 43:46Speaker 1: over an ox or a dog. That's how initially they
- 43:50Speaker 1: get on the ship by spreading their seed inside one
- 43:54Speaker 1: of those animals. Little dog action. It's better than I remember.
- 44:02Speaker 1: I watched it recently. It's pretty good.
- 44:04Speaker 2: Did you run that whole VHS just went all three run? Yeah?
- 44:09Speaker 1: Yeah, No, I don't think I'll ever watch Milo and
- 44:12Speaker 1: Otis Dude. No, No. Do you know, like, did they
- 44:17Speaker 1: killed all the animals in that movie? Did you ever
- 44:19Speaker 1: hear about that? So they made that movie in like
- 44:23Speaker 1: Australia before there was animal rights for you know, animals
- 44:27Speaker 1: and movies, and did they were just they killed like
- 44:29Speaker 1: twenty some cats and like three pugs and several other animals.
- 44:34Speaker 1: Do they were just they were literally just launching cats
- 44:37Speaker 1: off of this cliff to get the scene of the
- 44:39Speaker 1: cat jumping off the cliff and yeah, yeah, no it's not.
- 44:45Speaker 1: And the scene where the dog the dog fights the bear.
- 44:47Speaker 1: Do they just really had the dog fight the bear
- 44:50Speaker 1: so the dog just gets fucking eaten? Right, did? I
- 44:54Speaker 1: couldn't imagine being on the set for that and you're
- 44:56Speaker 1: just filming that and you're kind of looking around like
- 44:59Speaker 1: what we supposed to be doing this?
- 45:02Speaker 2: You're just waiting for the cops.
- 45:04Speaker 1: The cops to kick the door down and be like,
- 45:06Speaker 1: what the fuck are you guys doing.
- 45:09Speaker 2: Out in nature? Hiking is happening?
- 45:13Speaker 1: What the fuck is that? A dog getting mauled by bear? Again?
- 45:18Speaker 2: Keep going, keep keep.
- 45:24Speaker 1: They're gonna end up in the movie next. It's just
- 45:26Speaker 1: a human getting malled by the bear.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Okay.
- 45:30Speaker 1: So yeah, this Jet song, the first time I heard it,
- 45:32Speaker 1: I thought it sucked on a on a re listen,
- 45:36Speaker 1: I was like, you know, it's it kind of fits
- 45:40Speaker 1: the mood of the train song.
- 45:44Speaker 2: It fits the mood of what.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Like the train song? Like, I feel like it fits
- 45:48Speaker 1: well with the the way the train song had me feeling.
- 45:52Speaker 2: I said, it sounds as much like Jet as the
- 45:55Speaker 2: train song sounded like, Yeah, yes, I think that's exactly
- 45:59Speaker 2: I feel like this. Like neither of them sounded like
- 46:02Speaker 2: so maybe Creed was under contract and couldn't do their songs.
- 46:07Speaker 2: I think you might have.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just like a like your most very standard
- 46:14Speaker 1: generic chord progression song with like a melody.
- 46:18Speaker 2: And not like in a cool way either.
- 46:20Speaker 1: No, it's just like it's a fucking dumb ass song,
- 46:23Speaker 1: pretty much good filler in a good filler. I listened
- 46:26Speaker 1: to it a third time though, and it fucking sucked again,
- 46:30Speaker 1: So maybe the second time is where I should have
- 46:32Speaker 1: left it for Spider Man. Two maybe two plays is
- 46:37Speaker 1: all it gets.
- 46:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know. I don't know how many times
- 46:41Speaker 2: I listened to I probably gave it maybe four or
- 46:43Speaker 2: five total, okay is and then a handful of times
- 46:48Speaker 2: on the a handful of times on the YouTube cuts
- 46:50Speaker 2: this Yellow Card song. Did you listen to this? No?
- 46:54Speaker 1: See, I missed all. You're gonna have to fill me
- 46:55Speaker 1: in on all the YouTube cuts because I missed him.
- 46:58Speaker 1: I just said this one kind of Spotify.
- 47:01Speaker 2: I don't know what was up with that, because it
- 47:03Speaker 2: just I didn't look into these too hard, so I
- 47:06Speaker 2: just went as soon as I knew one of them
- 47:08Speaker 2: wasn't on there. I just was on YouTube looking through. Yeah,
- 47:11Speaker 2: this one pretty kicks off the kind of hot punk
- 47:15Speaker 2: vibe that there was through a lot of the album.
- 47:17Speaker 2: I think at the end of the song there's a
- 47:23Speaker 2: part where it builds up and then it kicks in
- 47:28Speaker 2: and they hit this same hinch harmonic like three or
- 47:31Speaker 2: four times in a row, but it sounds like they
- 47:33Speaker 2: don't get it quite right, and it's like when you
- 47:36Speaker 2: miss one and you have to hit it like just
- 47:40Speaker 2: to make sure you get it right. That's kind of
- 47:42Speaker 2: how it sounded. Oh man, that's rough. It was cool though.
- 47:46Speaker 1: I like this song Okay, Gifts and Curse, Okay, yeah,
- 47:50Speaker 1: I'm just gonna get Okay, I got it playing. I'm
- 47:53Speaker 1: sorry I threw it on just because I want to
- 47:56Speaker 1: hear them pinch harmonics now.
- 47:58Speaker 2: Yeah, and or I'm gonna run it through myself.
- 48:02Speaker 1: Actually, right away, I'm noticing the violin. That's something I
- 48:08Speaker 1: didn't really get though, because, I mean, you know what,
- 48:10Speaker 1: I used to think, why the fuck do they have
- 48:12Speaker 1: a violin player in their band? It just seems unnecessary
- 48:16Speaker 1: because it just basically sounds like it's synthesizer. But you
- 48:19Speaker 1: know what, it's it's whatever. It's what the guy knows
- 48:22Speaker 1: how to play, so it's cool.
- 48:24Speaker 2: Actually, the first thing that on YouTube was the Yellow Card,
- 48:28Speaker 2: so I.
- 48:29Speaker 1: Knew what you were talking about. It's your phone's listening
- 48:31Speaker 1: to you.
- 48:32Speaker 2: Now.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Do you know any other Yellow Card songs beside Ocean
- 48:40Speaker 1: Avenue and now this song?
- 48:43Speaker 2: Yeah? Me either. This was the band that just Yeah,
- 48:47Speaker 2: I don't know. I never ever do anymore than I
- 48:53Speaker 2: liked Ocean Avenue. Yeah, no, I still like Ocean Avenue.
- 48:57Speaker 2: I don't know if I just got my fill of
- 48:59Speaker 2: violin with the one song. Yeah, going back now, like
- 49:04Speaker 2: revisiting it kind of has it's like it feels like
- 49:07Speaker 2: the the saxophone in Bill Murray songs. It's like it's cool,
- 49:13Speaker 2: super necessary.
- 49:14Speaker 1: Yeah, it kind of grates on you after a while,
- 49:17Speaker 1: Like I don't really yeah that bad? I think, Yeah,
- 49:20Speaker 1: I think those like kind of unusual instruments to hearing,
- 49:23Speaker 1: like a like a rock song, to be general, is
- 49:27Speaker 1: kind of fun, but you know, less is more when
- 49:32Speaker 1: it comes to that ship. If it's not hitting, just
- 49:34Speaker 1: like a tasty lick for a little bit and then
- 49:37Speaker 1: dipping out, I don't really care for it.
- 49:39Speaker 2: I usually I do like a lot of the saxophone
- 49:43Speaker 2: parts in the at least the newest Bill murray Albumple.
- 49:48Speaker 1: I haven't listened to much of them.
- 49:50Speaker 2: I like, I like the newest album. That's yeah. I've
- 49:52Speaker 2: listened to this and the album before this one, But
- 49:57Speaker 2: I do like my daughter likes the new album.
- 50:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I hear about him a lot, but I just haven't.
- 50:05Speaker 1: I've heard like a handful of songs. It's one of
- 50:07Speaker 1: those bands where like, yeah, I've checked them out a
- 50:09Speaker 1: couple of times, but I just haven't gone through an
- 50:11Speaker 1: album or anything and gave them a proper listen. But
- 50:16Speaker 1: they sound pretty cool from what I could tell.
- 50:18Speaker 2: There's some really there's some some tasty stuff on the
- 50:22Speaker 2: I'll sing you some.
- 50:23Speaker 1: Songs, Okay, yes, give it to me. This Marine five song,
- 50:29Speaker 1: though it's a piece of shit, it.
- 50:33Speaker 2: Is incredibly sexual and sensual.
- 50:35Speaker 1: Yeah you're trying to say, yeah, I mean I just
- 50:38Speaker 1: listened to about thirty seconds of it right now.
- 50:42Speaker 2: It felt very much like Kanye. If Kanye would have
- 50:45Speaker 2: came on, I wouldn't have been surprised.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I can see that.
- 50:49Speaker 2: And as the song went on further, I doubled down
- 50:52Speaker 2: on that, like if this would have had a rap
- 50:54Speaker 2: feature on it, it probably would have been a fucking
- 50:56Speaker 2: hit song.
- 50:57Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, I can see that because it does
- 50:59Speaker 1: just kind of have like a beat in the back
- 51:02Speaker 1: and almost like a syn melody or something going on
- 51:06Speaker 1: from what I can tell anyway, just just absolutely spoogeing.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 51:19Speaker 1: Yeah. It sounds very much like weather music, like weather
- 51:25Speaker 1: channel music, you know, like you ever. Yeah, and he's
- 51:28Speaker 1: just singing over it. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that is what
- 51:33Speaker 1: it is. Well, good for them. They got on spider
- 51:37Speaker 1: Man two with it. I don't know five.
- 51:42Speaker 2: There was on that album. I like on the Yeah, yeah,
- 51:50Speaker 2: I do like that album. I was pretty is this
- 51:54Speaker 2: I think I think that was before this hold On.
- 51:57Speaker 1: I don't know is this one songs about Jane or
- 52:00Speaker 1: is it just is it just for Spider Man too?
- 52:02Speaker 2: Yeah? I don't think that is. Yeah. Harder to Breathe
- 52:06Speaker 2: of Love is the second song right after that.
- 52:09Speaker 1: Yeah, and it had like Sunday Morning on there too,
- 52:12Speaker 1: I think, mm hmm, yeah, dude, that I was pretty.
- 52:17Speaker 1: I was pretty excited about Moon five when that album
- 52:20Speaker 1: came out, Like when I heard this Love and some
- 52:22Speaker 1: of those other songs, I was like, Okay, it's a
- 52:24Speaker 1: pretty fucking cool sound, Yeah cool, Harder to breathe was
- 52:28Speaker 1: really cool, and yeah, dude, they just took such a
- 52:32Speaker 1: turn for the worst so fast, where they just, like,
- 52:36Speaker 1: I don't know, became just like a really shitty pop band,
- 52:40Speaker 1: like so fast.
- 52:41Speaker 2: The rest of the songs were Jane, and it showed. Yeah,
- 52:46Speaker 2: there's a blatant lack of songs about Jane throughout the
- 52:49Speaker 2: rest of their discography. Yeah, and it shows.
- 52:53Speaker 1: It's more like songs about Adam sexting people or what
- 53:01Speaker 1: he'd have some weird where he was like, oh, yeah,
- 53:04Speaker 1: like his sex came out and they're like, really fucking shitty.
- 53:08Speaker 1: He's just like, I don't know, said yeah, he seemed
- 53:12Speaker 1: like a suck ass guy. I don't remember much. I
- 53:15Speaker 1: just remember seeing that pop up and it being like,
- 53:17Speaker 1: Adam Levine fucking sucks that sexting look at this.
- 53:21Speaker 2: I was like, that's awesome. Pussy for sure.
- 53:27Speaker 1: You can't even fucking sex the woman, right, what a bitch.
- 53:31Speaker 2: But could you imagine though, like reading anyone's texts like
- 53:35Speaker 2: that and being like, man, this dude, I mean that's
- 53:38Speaker 2: fucking type bro. I bet he god, I bet she
- 53:42Speaker 2: came up.
- 53:43Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I mean, dude, it's like it's hilarious
- 53:48Speaker 1: that it happens to uh Adam Levine, but it would
- 53:52Speaker 1: be awful what no matter who you are, you'd be like,
- 53:56Speaker 1: oh ship, yeah good.
- 53:59Speaker 2: There's no area where I'm reading that and just thinking
- 54:01Speaker 2: it looks cool, Like it's gonna look fucking lame and
- 54:05Speaker 2: cheesy no matter what. Yes, yeah, but we're doubling down
- 54:09Speaker 2: because he fucking sucks, so it makes worse. Yeah.
- 54:13Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just that much more fun, that much more satisfying.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Dude. Those tattoos are fucking whack. You know that. I
- 54:20Speaker 2: don't know about it.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Fucking suck ass are worse than my tattoo.
- 54:29Speaker 2: But Taking Back Sunday really fucking cleans it up after this.
- 54:33Speaker 1: So yeah, this Taking Back Sunday song kicks ass and
- 54:38Speaker 1: uh yeah. Yeah, it's just one of the things where
- 54:41Speaker 1: like this whole album just like so many highlights, dude.
- 54:45Speaker 2: What this like Spider Man or the Taking Back Sunday
- 54:49Speaker 2: album both, because I love this both. Ye, No, but
- 55:04Speaker 2: this whole Taking Back Sunday album, the first album, second album,
- 55:09Speaker 2: the third album.
- 55:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I like so many fucking great songs. Yeah, Taking
- 55:15Speaker 1: Back Sunday is one of the bands from this era
- 55:18Speaker 1: that I'll never get sick of. And I don't know
- 55:21Speaker 1: much about like why people hate the singer or whatever,
- 55:24Speaker 1: but I keep seeing people shipping up on the singer.
- 55:28Speaker 1: I'm like, my great life, No, you do some bad
- 55:32Speaker 1: ship Like I've.
- 55:33Speaker 2: Never seen him. I've never seen him live. He just video.
- 55:38Speaker 2: He fucking it sounds bad.
- 55:41Speaker 1: I did see that. I thought he must have like
- 55:43Speaker 1: done something. I thought you said, not a great life.
- 55:47Speaker 2: Oh sh no, he's got I mean probably a cool
- 55:52Speaker 2: fucking life. I had to guessing all the Yeah, no,
- 55:57Speaker 2: I figured it's not not. Yeah, that's true.
- 56:03Speaker 1: It's like I mean, the guy from the Used I
- 56:07Speaker 1: think sounded good along time, But dude, it's just one
- 56:11Speaker 1: of those bands where it's like, how are you ever
- 56:13Speaker 1: going to keep up with that? You're never gonna You're
- 56:15Speaker 1: not gonna be able to sing like that forever, to
- 56:18Speaker 1: sing like that for like five years at the moment.
- 56:21Speaker 2: I just saw a video of them, like a very
- 56:23Speaker 2: recent video. They were playing like Box of Sharp Objects.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Oh man, see that's where I think, like my Chemical Romance,
- 56:33Speaker 1: they kind of hit the sweet spot where, like some
- 56:35Speaker 1: of those songs they like about hit that point of
- 56:38Speaker 1: like Oh it's too much. It's too fucking high. You're
- 56:40Speaker 1: gonna like shred your voice. But I think it it
- 56:44Speaker 1: has did he the MC something. But I feel like
- 56:51Speaker 1: those ones are oh probably. I mean, I want to
- 56:55Speaker 1: be surprised. I don't like keep up with them, but
- 56:57Speaker 1: I feel like all the videos I see them live,
- 56:59Speaker 1: he sounds pretty good still, And yeah, I think those
- 57:02Speaker 1: songs are a little bit more reasonable, you know what
- 57:04Speaker 1: I mean, Like they get really high, but I think
- 57:07Speaker 1: you could replace that high note with a lower note
- 57:10Speaker 1: and it wontn't sound off where it's like taking back
- 57:12Speaker 1: Sunday or the used. If you try to sing that
- 57:15Speaker 1: in a lower register, it's gonna like completely change the right.
- 57:18Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:19Speaker 1: So that's where I feel like they kind of run
- 57:21Speaker 1: into some difficulties. It's kind of like a Motley crew
- 57:25Speaker 1: when you see Vince Neil now.
- 57:32Speaker 2: Talking. Now. What's crazy about my Chemical Romance is like
- 57:38Speaker 2: they're like they've been touring the Black Parade and shit.
- 57:41Speaker 2: But I feel like when they were out touring Three
- 57:44Speaker 2: Cheers or Singer Banage like that, I don't think they
- 57:46Speaker 2: were good live, Like I think you didn't do well vocally.
- 57:50Speaker 2: I never saw them, but like live shit that I
- 57:53Speaker 2: had heard and like going back and looking at videos
- 57:55Speaker 2: that just didn't sound great. Something happened in that in
- 58:00Speaker 2: the meantime, and he sounds pretty cool now. See.
- 58:04Speaker 1: I wonder if there's some sort of like, you know,
- 58:06Speaker 1: I was talking about the COVID ray earlier. I feel
- 58:09Speaker 1: like there's gotta be some sort of like seeing Better
- 58:12Speaker 1: ray that people get hit with, because there are people
- 58:14Speaker 1: that like kind of sound like ship early on live
- 58:17Speaker 1: and then like as their careers go on, they just
- 58:20Speaker 1: magically like can hit all the notes live.
- 58:23Speaker 2: Maybe just maybe it just wears you down and you're
- 58:26Speaker 2: just not as it's not as piercing to you anymore.
- 58:30Speaker 1: Yeah, that could be it too, where it's just like,
- 58:32Speaker 1: oh this is actually good.
- 58:35Speaker 2: Yeah I do. I do like this. It is. I
- 58:40Speaker 2: am a fucking asshole.
- 58:42Speaker 1: It was me the whole time.
- 58:46Speaker 2: God damn it. I don't like anything. Everything's are Did
- 58:54Speaker 2: you like that? There's all right? Everything's all right? You
- 58:57Speaker 2: know what something? I feel like you know what I mean?
- 59:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I was gonna say it adds more to it. Also,
- 59:03Speaker 1: I think it's all right is a good jumping off point.
- 59:07Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 59:09Speaker 1: I feel like, you know, I run into so much
- 59:12Speaker 1: stuff that gets over hyped, because like, as soon as
- 59:15Speaker 1: it comes out, it's like, this is the best fucking
- 59:18Speaker 1: thing I've ever seen or ever heard or whatever, and
- 59:20Speaker 1: then you listen to it, it's like, it's all right,
- 59:23Speaker 1: it's pretty good. You know, I could see this growing
- 59:25Speaker 1: on me.
- 59:26Speaker 2: It's alright, it's like a solid seven point two.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Yeah, it's all right, it's I think it's like to me,
- 59:31Speaker 1: it's great.
- 59:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Yeah, It's like you could say this could be very
- 59:35Speaker 1: good if I listen to it three or four times
- 59:38Speaker 1: and eventually I'm like, Okay, I'm kind of getting into
- 59:42Speaker 1: the groove. But yeah, Taking Back Sunday, though, make damn sure,
- 59:48Speaker 1: is an all timer for me. This song is very
- 59:52Speaker 1: very good, cute without the e just you know, They've
- 59:55Speaker 1: got so many fucking great songs to where I could
- 59:58Speaker 1: never just completely ship on them because their singer.
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: Sucks live or whatever. Yeah.
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: Yeah, they've done too much.
- 1:00:07Speaker 2: Yeah, the first two albums topped about them.
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: I have yeah, No, And with Taking Back Sunday being
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: on here and being obviously one of the highlights of
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: the Spider Man two soundtrack, could you imagine if they
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: like on the other side of the Sandwich was a
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: brand new track, man, But.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: How would that? Honestly, I got into brand New way later,
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: like I was at the time, Like I was, you know,
- 1:00:36Speaker 2: when these albums were coming out. Well, when Louder Now
- 1:00:39Speaker 2: came out, I was like into the first two albums.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: I remember that coming out, But like, I didn't get
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: into brand New. I had friends very into brand New,
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: but I didn't. It was not for me until maybe
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: in the last five years. I finally listened to brand New. Yeah,
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: this is pretty cool. It's all the same shit. It's
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: all there, all singing the same songs. I really liked.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: No, it's okay, I'll take any opinion. I haven't honestly
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: listened to very much of him. I've really only listened
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: to the album with the Spaceman on it, and I
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: really only listened to that album within the last five
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: years as well. Like zeb likes brand New a lot,
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: or at least liked him when he was in Sidelined
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: and we used to cover the Quiet Things that no
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: one ever knows.
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: Was that's awesome and that.
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: Was the most brand New I'd ever heard in my
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: life up until about a few years ago. And I
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: was like, you know, everyone always talks about this fucking
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: Spaceman album and shit, I'm gonna give it a listen.
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: And it was it was good. I had like really
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: solid trackless. Yeah, but I haven't listened to any other
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: albums other than that.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: So, you know, as a person that was very into
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Taking Back Sunday before, there were a lot of very
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: taking Back Sunday songs on that album. Really, yeah, it
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: all reminded me of the same, a lot of similar songs.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: I don't know what the beef is between those two bands,
- 1:02:02Speaker 1: but I just know that it exists. Okay, Yeah, what
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: is the beef between them? Because I never took the
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: time to look it up. I just said always kind
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: of well, spit that.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: Get the Actually, I'm going to be wrong immediately out
- 1:02:19Speaker 2: of the gate, but that's okay.
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: We'll create a new lore.
- 1:02:24Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll just we'll just pretend this is right. If
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: it's not right, we'll just go with it. Why not. Yeah,
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Jesse Lacey, the dude from Brand New was in Taking
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: Back Sunday and uh, Gray Area, fuck the dude's girlfriend.
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: Somebody's girlfriend was fucked. Little Deception left started brand New.
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: I see I might be wrong, and some of that
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: that sounds right because it feels.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Right when I I feel it confidently. Yeah, I could
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: be right if I'm not.
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I think think actually I think he fucked Gerard
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: Way's uh brother.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: Okay, there you go. That is what I heard, and
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: they kicked Yeah, that's that's actually what I heard. They
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: kicked him out because of it, and he had to
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: go do They were like, listen, here's your The only
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: way you can come back is if you go cover
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: this fucking song with the used and do the two
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: dollar bill concerts and then it'll be okay. And so
- 1:03:28Speaker 2: we got under pressure. Thanks a lot.
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: Oh that's what happened.
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Yep, there's the.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Well I didn't even know. That's why I thought that
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: was because Bert McCracken fucked Gerard Way's brother too.
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: Well, that could be they got man.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: And then they kicked out the drummer or something.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: I don't know. Maybe I just I don't know, Okay,
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: but know that the taking back sonnay brand new thing,
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: there's some there's there's some substance to what I'm saying there.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Yeah, it does sound familiar like I remember it being
- 1:04:02Speaker 1: something like that. It sounded like, yeah, that's like.
- 1:04:04Speaker 2: That's something I've found out about not super long ago.
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: I remember texting zeb about that, like, Okay, I didn't
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: know this was a thing. Yeah, I was like, yeah, idiot.
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like I'd always kind of heard about it,
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: like off to the side and I yeah, I was
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: like okay, and like, yeah, that sucks. It's it's kind
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: of weird that it's like the war between these two
- 1:04:31Speaker 1: like big bands from this era, you know what I mean. Yeah,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: like the beef is that It's like, okay, so.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: Would you rather be the dude from taking Back Sunday
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: and have your voice blown out and still being touring
- 1:04:46Speaker 2: all the fucking time but not doing very well live,
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: but like having a Snapple endorsement and being you know,
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: socially accepted or or be the dude for brand New?
- 1:05:00Speaker 1: Yeah, doesn't if something else is going on to wasn't
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: allegations he texting somebody or something that he was supposed
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: to be texting something like that. See, all these things
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: are like very hazy to me because I feel like
- 1:05:13Speaker 1: they'll pop up on like it.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Will be clear because that's yeah, that definitely is it? Okay, Okay,
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: I like it. Like several girls came.
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Yeah, guy from Taking Back Sunday for sure. Honestly, I
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: was gonna say taking Back Sunday Guy either way, because
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: I just think he's so cooler and also like, uh
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: like honestly better songs in my opinion, And also if
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: my voice was blown out like that, I still think it.
- 1:05:46Speaker 2: Would be fun. Girls.
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: Geez, but get that Get that guy the fuck out
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: of here, get him off the warped tour. Bud, you
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: gotta go. You gotta pack up your hand, bro oh,
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: pack up your chocolate. Three brother, you need to get the.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: Cho all you want, Buddy, we got it.
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: We got him on the hard drive, big dog. You're
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: going straight to the FBI.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: Have you seen the preview for Robert Pattinson? Yeah, Chris Hans, Chris,
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: did you see it? Yeah? It looks so sick.
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: I'm excited for it. Yeah, dude, it looks so good.
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: There's gonna be a sequel that's just the updated like
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: pread Catchers that we see one. Now, we're's just people
- 1:06:42Speaker 1: beating the ship out of like mentally disabled guys.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: They're just like, did you text the boy? And he's like.
- 1:06:55Speaker 1: He's just like in the electronics all getting fucking stomped
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: out and the workers are like, what is.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Here to meet a thirteen year old boy for sex?
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: I don't know, dud Dude TV watch those every time,
- 1:07:12Speaker 2: every single time. I'll follow for fucking I'll go over
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: to your page for part two and part three. I'm
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: watching it to the end. Dog, I watched the whole
- 1:07:21Speaker 2: fucking thing. Hell yeah, just smacking the fuck out of him.
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: This ship is so funny.
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: This guy is ass in the scorpion deathlok, while the
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: other guy's like yelling at him. What's the fucking like
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: giving him page print out reading off the text? Did
- 1:07:36Speaker 1: you say you were gonna fuck her with the smearing
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: off bottle?
- 1:07:39Speaker 3: No?
- 1:07:40Speaker 2: What's the UV blue doing in your fucking trunk? Then, dude,
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: it's for me. It's for me, Just likeever, bro, where'd
- 1:07:49Speaker 2: you get these fucking geek bars at Dude show? Those
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: are mind? I spoke cigarettes that what everbody giving him
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: fucking titty twisters?
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: He's getting like permanent brain damage.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Putting in the fucking Boston crab.
- 1:08:09Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, just here his spine breaking, just fucking jumping
- 1:08:12Speaker 1: on his back.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: God, yeah, shout out. I love everybody always bails them
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: out every time. The dude's hitting the the the good
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: guys because I'm sure they get around. No, yeah, we
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: don't want to shoot.
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: I have seen the parts when the cops show up
- 1:08:30Speaker 1: and they're like, yeah, hey you guys, you guys, just
- 1:08:33Speaker 1: you need to call us next time you need to.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: Well, we can't really do anything.
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: Yeah, how we can't do anything with this now.
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: It's all just all we have now is you fucking
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: beat the fuck out of this mentally disabled sixty year
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: old man in Kmart. Okay, so you can hand over
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: all the text you have, but you still did that
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: and four eight hundred and sixty dollars in property damage.
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: You took out an entire end cap of Nintendo DS's
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: what the fuck are you doing? What? He was back there?
- 1:09:07Speaker 2: He was back there by the fucking video games. You know.
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: We had to spear him.
- 1:09:11Speaker 1: We had to spin through the video camera that you.
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: Can't Yeah, they had a good setup shot. They had
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: to act.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: We couldn't let him get away. Yeah, he's like he's
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: in a wheelchair. They're like, we couldn't let him get away.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: We had to take him back.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: He's in an electric wheelchair, and they're like like cuts
- 1:09:30Speaker 2: the wires and ship bolt Cutters. It's like, oh no,
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: they him up like dudes get fucking cracked by people.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Those videos, the one where the guy like hit takes
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: him out with the cart.
- 1:09:47Speaker 2: Have you seen that where the dude gets hit with
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: the fucking cart. He's like out in the middle of
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: the aisle at the past the endcap, the dude comes
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: up with the He's like this, dude's always here to
- 1:09:58Speaker 2: meet a kid. The dude just fucking hits him the car.
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: Oh man, I'll have to look that one up. They'll
- 1:10:05Speaker 1: be on next search.
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: Yeah, catching the Predator, catching it.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: So catching the Predator too will be that. It'll be
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: like the vigil Anti Justice for sure. I wonder what
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: the soundtrack for that'll be.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Like, dude, so either something really cool or something not
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: very cool and really weird. Yeah.
- 1:10:29Speaker 1: Yeah, eight twenty four is so hit or missed.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: Yeah, so this next song Midtown, Yeah, tell me about
- 1:10:36Speaker 2: Did you listen to this? I did?
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Yeah, Yeah, this is one. I definitely jammed out to
- 1:10:41Speaker 1: this one. I remember on my second go through thinking
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: this is another one.
- 1:10:47Speaker 2: I was like, this is a little better than I
- 1:10:48Speaker 2: remember around I'm sorry, go ahead, all right.
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: I started like I threw it on just to make
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: sure I wasn't thinking of a different song.
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: Yeah, this one's it's got a little like a little.
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: Jet bassline at the beginning, like a little dead headed
- 1:11:04Speaker 1: dead Yeah.
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a piano part. Yeah, at some point in
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: this song. It's like a it's just kind of in
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: the background. Yeah, that is a piano part that's I've
- 1:11:22Speaker 2: heard in several songs. Yeah. It's a conversation that Christian
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: and I have had several times, and I even reached
- 1:11:30Speaker 2: out to him when I was trying to like compile
- 1:11:32Speaker 2: a list. You're just running through this, uh Cohedon Cambria,
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: the Suffering, it's in that Jimmy world, The Sweetness, Yeah, yeah, Rush,
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: the Spirit of Radio, same piano part, all four of these.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: That doesn't surprise me.
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: I feel like there's several songs that I can think of,
- 1:11:56Speaker 1: like pop punk songs that also do this or a
- 1:11:58Speaker 1: similar thing.
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: We're in the very last chorus.
- 1:12:00Speaker 1: There's like a no, there's a Blink one eighty two
- 1:12:03Speaker 1: song that does it, where the very last chorus they
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: just hit like the high note that's like I guess,
- 1:12:08Speaker 1: probably the root note of whatever they're playing, and it
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: just holds it and I think it's the same idea
- 1:12:13Speaker 1: where it's just like we're gonna throw in another layer here. Yeah,
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: and yeah, fucking definitely Green Day and Good Charlotte have
- 1:12:21Speaker 1: done it.
- 1:12:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: Yeah, this is like one of those little I feel
- 1:12:26Speaker 1: like it's like a studio trick, you know, Yeah, one
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: of those things, or like.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: Well, these are the times that I've caught it.
- 1:12:33Speaker 1: I mean those are some good ones, for sure. I
- 1:12:36Speaker 1: feel like it's a damn I don't know. Yeah, I
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: remember when I first realized it was on I can't
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: remember which Blink one eighty two song it was, but
- 1:12:43Speaker 1: it was like when I was in high school and
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: I was still thinking, like, oh, blank one eighty two
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: is just the fucking guitar, bass and drums, there's nothing
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: else going on in there. And then when I heard
- 1:12:53Speaker 1: the keyboard, I was like, what the fuck they don't
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: have a keyboard player? Like, these guys fucking suck.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: Actually you got you fucking sellouts? Yeah, what the fuck,
- 1:13:04Speaker 2: fucking nerds.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: I don't want to hear some bullshit keyboard on a
- 1:13:08Speaker 1: fu Yeah, what the hell that keyboard at home? It's
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: it's hitting all the formula, formulaic type of ship though,
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: for sure.
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: In this song. Yeah, it wasn't a bad song, no
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: it was.
- 1:13:23Speaker 1: It was alright, It was like very middle of the road,
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: Like this is pretty pretty solid. It fits in a movie, yeah, yeah,
- 1:13:31Speaker 1: I mean it could. It holds its own with like
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: the Jet song for sure. It kind of reminds me
- 1:13:38Speaker 1: of a Jimmy Eat World song a little bit, but
- 1:13:40Speaker 1: with like less of a with a less interesting sounding vocalist,
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: you know what I mean, And not not in like
- 1:13:47Speaker 1: a bad way, but the guy from Jimmy World just
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: has like a really standout.
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: Voice for sure. Yeah, for sure. Uh.
- 1:13:55Speaker 1: The next song the Lucky You.
- 1:14:02Speaker 2: Lost profits Hey, good thing he's fucking dead because I
- 1:14:07Speaker 2: don't feel bad about my fractions of pennies going you know,
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: I don't have to worry about that going on his commentary.
- 1:14:13Speaker 1: Dude, I knew I recognize this guy when his little picture. Yeah,
- 1:14:17Speaker 1: I was like, I've seen I've seen a YouTube video
- 1:14:20Speaker 1: about this mothersucker.
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: This song sick. Yeah, it was a good song.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: That was one thing I was like, you know, this
- 1:14:27Speaker 1: is this was another song like the bar is pretty
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: high on this album, and I feel like most of
- 1:14:33Speaker 1: the songs on the Spotify version for the most part
- 1:14:36Speaker 1: keep up with like some of the bangers on here.
- 1:14:38Speaker 2: Really yeah no, there was some cool song for sure.
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but what did this guy do? Was he just
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: a straight up pedal? Because I remember listening to something
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: about it a long time ago. But it's another one
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: of those where, like a lot of this stuff just
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: leaves my brain after a while.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: This dude was like fucking like, oh, okay, killed in
- 1:15:00Speaker 2: prison over it?
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Oh well, you know justice is served?
- 1:15:06Speaker 2: All right? Yeah, great guy.
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: I never met him, actually, nah, not a great Yeah, no, yeah,
- 1:15:16Speaker 1: I can't remember. I remember seeing like a lot of
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: YouTube videos pop up about this guy. Like anytime I
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: check out like true crime stuff, I feel like they'll
- 1:15:24Speaker 1: be like this, you know, front man for the Lost Prophets,
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: and it's like one of those black and white like
- 1:15:29Speaker 1: almost looking videos, and I'm like, yeah, like what did
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: he do?
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: Oh? And then they tell you what he did.
- 1:15:35Speaker 1: You're like yeah, it's just kind of like all right,
- 1:15:37Speaker 1: well fuck those guys, fuck him, I guess, and glad
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: he's dead, rest and piss.
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: Yeah, you fucking suck the song school though you were
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: playing guitar and you don't get credit for that part.
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: Yeah, the guitar ship's pretty cool. Yeah, it's a it's
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: a pretty solid song.
- 1:15:54Speaker 2: I was a yeah pleasantly as soon as it came on,
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: I'm like, I'm so glad this dude's fucking dead, like I.
- 1:16:03Speaker 1: Hate you know, it almost like makes it uh excusable
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: to listen to again where it's right. Yeah, he's fucking dead.
- 1:16:10Speaker 1: I don't have to worry about him. He's burning in
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: hell somewhere.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: Yep, yep. Justice was served. Yeah. When yeah, when somebody
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: gets our Kelly, that's when it'll be hot out the
- 1:16:22Speaker 2: kitchen again. You know what I'm saying. It won't. It
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: won only that musty smelling, you know.
- 1:16:28Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, the day that happens, we got to blast
- 1:16:31Speaker 1: that song, do a.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: Whole We're gonna have to run trapped in the closet. Oh, dude,
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: I have done on dvd. I have that on DVD.
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: When Brie and I, yeah, when Bri and I first
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: got together. I don't know how the fuck it happened,
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: but we ended up on YouTube watching it like chapter
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: by chapter, and it went up to like twenty something
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: was on YouTube, but then it funneled you to his
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: website to buy the dvd. Because if you're if you're
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: twenty six chapter is deep in an R. Kelly saga.
- 1:17:02Speaker 2: You gotta buy it. You're gonna you're gonna pay twenty
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: dollars for the DVD to watch the rest of it.
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: Twenty bucks.
- 1:17:08Speaker 2: Guilty.
- 1:17:10Speaker 1: Yeah, it was just like mister Kelly himself.
- 1:17:14Speaker 2: He was charged.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Dude, that is honestly, that's worth it, though, I might
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: pick it up for twenty bucks now, right, See who.
- 1:17:23Speaker 2: Knows what it is now you can probably get it.
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: This was this was pret you know, readily available secondary market.
- 1:17:28Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I wasn't Nobody was selling
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: that a marketplace. There wasn't a market gotcha, Oh, I gotcha.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: I don't know. I don't know when marketplace it started.
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: This was like twenty eighteen.
- 1:17:41Speaker 1: It was a Craigslist. Fine, at least, maybe I don't.
- 1:17:45Speaker 2: Think I'm buying him an R. Kelly DVD.
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: That might be the last moment. Yeah, that last thing
- 1:17:53Speaker 1: you do. You have a rough couple of days.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: Last Craigslist encounter.
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I thought I thought I hit a couple of
- 1:18:05Speaker 1: those picking up some old guitar cabs. Back in the day,
- 1:18:09Speaker 1: I'd be scooping up Craigslist buys and we took me
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: and Nash and I think Ryan took the van out dude,
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: somewhere in Saint Louis, And I was thinking, like, you know,
- 1:18:19Speaker 1: it's Saint Louis, it's probably gonna be in the city
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: or like, you know, something like that, or in a
- 1:18:24Speaker 1: suburb at least. Dude, we went to the straight fucking jungle,
- 1:18:28Speaker 1: like it was like the Boonies on a dirt road,
- 1:18:30Speaker 1: and the GPS was like not, it was not computing anymore,
- 1:18:34Speaker 1: you know, It's like turn around, turn around, And I'm
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: just like, this is where it says it's supposed to be,
- 1:18:39Speaker 1: you know, And we found it and do there's just
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: a giant fender to twelve cabs sitting on the porch
- 1:18:44Speaker 1: of this trailer and it's like, you know, the grass
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: hasn't been mowed in years. I was just like, dude,
- 1:18:49Speaker 1: they're gonna shoot me off the porch with a shotgun
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: as soon as I stepped my foot on there.
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: But I got the cab. You paid it forward because
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: I had a very positive encounter buying guitar cab from you.
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: Oh yes, yes, I got that. I don't remember what
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: I got that black Avatar cab from you, but I
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: don't remember what I gave you.
- 1:19:08Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I don't remember either. Honestly, I felt like, I, uh,
- 1:19:12Speaker 1: that cab was pretty sweet that.
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: I had kept that for a long time.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: Was that that four to twelve? Yeah, that was a
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: nice cab.
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: I like that one. There's a there's a twelve on
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: marketplace right now that is like exactly like that.
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: Is it like three fifty or something. I think I
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: might have seen.
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I think white, like so instead of black. I
- 1:19:34Speaker 2: told Brock about it the other day. I was like,
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: I don't need it. Yeah, I know, it's it'd be
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: fucking cool to have.
- 1:19:41Speaker 1: I know there's too much good gear out there now
- 1:19:44Speaker 1: on Marketplace.
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: It's it's bad. It's too easy. I guess that it is.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Craigslist was like always a struggle, but I feel like
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: Marketplace has taken over where it just actually like sort
- 1:19:55Speaker 1: of regulates your interactions and stuff, and it has like rules,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: unofficial rules set up where you can kind of be like, actually,
- 1:20:02Speaker 1: I got to meet you in public because I don't
- 1:20:04Speaker 1: want to like go to your fucking stupid house or something, have.
- 1:20:08Speaker 2: Your hit bull eat my dick off in the middle
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: of me. Buying this thing. I don't want this bagera
- 1:20:15Speaker 2: solid state head brother.
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't, I really don't.
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: Well, I didn't put the song title down.
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: It's been a while since I thought of guys.
- 1:20:29Speaker 2: That's the same first note. This dude definitely does it
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: for the drugs. Immediate takeaway is very I'm sorry, was
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: that this song drugs? So yeah, I just immediately heard
- 1:20:48Speaker 2: his voice and thought of that.
- 1:20:50Speaker 1: Yeah, okay, yeah, this was one of the YouTube songs
- 1:20:53Speaker 1: that I didn't get to, so yeah it was. Yeah,
- 1:20:57Speaker 1: it doesn't sound great.
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: I gotta first core first, ah, really plugging in the
- 1:21:07Speaker 4: the formula.
- 1:21:09Speaker 2: Yeah, this ship sucks.
- 1:21:11Speaker 1: Yeah, this is some fucking bullshit. Really like, dude, this
- 1:21:22Speaker 1: is the Yeah, it's the g dex song of the
- 1:21:25Speaker 1: week right there where he's just got the program drums in,
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: it's fucking hitting okay chords. Yeah yeah, Yeah, that's not
- 1:21:37Speaker 1: a good song. Maybe that's why Spotify took these songs off, you.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: Know, because the Yellow Card song was cool.
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: That's true, and you know, whether the Huba Stinks song
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: is good or not, it deserves.
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: To be on. Yeah, you know exactly ship. Okay, they
- 1:21:57Speaker 2: bring it back so with this next one, though, yes, yes,
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: because I fucked with this song.
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: This song kicks ass. Yeah, I was really surprised by
- 1:22:07Speaker 1: this one too.
- 1:22:08Speaker 2: There's this like raspy thing this dude does with his
- 1:22:12Speaker 2: voice that reminds me a lot of the dude from
- 1:22:15Speaker 2: Real Friends.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I could see that. Yeah, dude, these guys I
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: think were a little bit ahead of their time. Like
- 1:22:20Speaker 1: I need to, I kind of want to go back
- 1:22:22Speaker 1: and listen to the album that has like j Yeah, yeah,
- 1:22:26Speaker 1: check out the one with Boys of Summer on it,
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: because I think I don't know that. Like I said,
- 1:22:30Speaker 1: it's one of those covers, dude, I think it might
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: be better than that than the original. I think it's
- 1:22:35Speaker 1: like the gold Finger version of ninety nine Red Balloons,
- 1:22:38Speaker 1: Like it just it just has that, dude, it has
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: that energy where it just fucking hits and like at
- 1:22:43Speaker 1: that part he does that thing with his voice that
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: you're talking about where it like it almost breaks, but
- 1:22:48Speaker 1: it kind of hits that rasp when he's going for
- 1:22:50Speaker 1: like the high notes and it does it right, but
- 1:22:53Speaker 1: right at the pause before the final chorus and Boys
- 1:22:56Speaker 1: of Summer, Dude, it's oh yeah.
- 1:22:59Speaker 2: It's great that one for sure.
- 1:23:01Speaker 1: For sure, it's you gotta check. Yeah, it's a yeah,
- 1:23:06Speaker 1: it's a tight song. I like the original version a
- 1:23:08Speaker 1: lot too, so it's not It's not one of those
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: where I'm like, oh, they made like a shitty song better.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: I like both versions a lot, and I don't know
- 1:23:16Speaker 1: just the Atari's one. Anytime I hear it, I'm always like,
- 1:23:18Speaker 1: damn this fucking rips they like killed it. It makes
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: me wonder about the rest of the album now, like
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: is it as good as this song or or I
- 1:23:29Speaker 1: feel like if they would have came out around the
- 1:23:31Speaker 1: same time that bands like Real Friends did, maybe they
- 1:23:33Speaker 1: would have blown up more, you know what I mean,
- 1:23:37Speaker 1: Like this type of pop punk maybe wasn't the wasn't
- 1:23:41Speaker 1: the Jam at this time in two thousand, it was
- 1:23:45Speaker 1: more like Newfound Glory, stuff like that blinkin a two
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: Good Charlotte, you know, the more poppy pop punk where
- 1:23:53Speaker 1: I feel like this has a little bit more of
- 1:23:55Speaker 1: like feeling.
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: Involved. I guess I don't know.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: I might just be saying a bunch of bullshit.
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: Honestly, this felt, and I mean it felt very taking
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: back Sunday.
- 1:24:07Speaker 1: Like, yeah, Almost Emails.
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: That's a band that I related a lot of stuff
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: like this back too.
- 1:24:14Speaker 1: Yeah, those like yeah, yeah, it's.
- 1:24:18Speaker 2: Like dramatic chord progressions and ship like.
- 1:24:21Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I like yeah. I like the chorus a lot.
- 1:24:25Speaker 1: The chorus is very catchy.
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:24:27Speaker 1: He's one of those singers that does a good job
- 1:24:29Speaker 1: of like pushing his vocal range. Yeah yeah, yeah, that's sick.
- 1:24:34Speaker 1: It's got a nice little lick in the verse two,
- 1:24:39Speaker 1: like a sweet little rift that kind of carries the
- 1:24:41Speaker 1: verses through all around good songs.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: Yeah. Spotify dropped us a little treat though with this
- 1:24:49Speaker 2: bad boy here.
- 1:24:50Speaker 1: This is the This is like Doc Oks sneaking back
- 1:24:54Speaker 1: into the science lab to get his dude.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: But I guess boner arms because.
- 1:24:59Speaker 1: We we didn't no, but this came on, dude. Yeah,
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: this is when I was like, no way, this is
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: on the fucking soundtrack, dude.
- 1:25:08Speaker 2: I was. It makes me feel like Spotify sound right,
- 1:25:11Speaker 2: eyes onto it.
- 1:25:12Speaker 1: Honestly, I was thinking that a little bit with this one.
- 1:25:16Speaker 2: Bro, he might be everything.
- 1:25:23Speaker 1: I could you imagine if the next soundtrack we listened
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: to is like a ten out of ten, but it's
- 1:25:29Speaker 1: like it's been reworked. I might completely believe that theory
- 1:25:34Speaker 1: that this Spotify man exists and he's listening.
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: I hope, so he's probably. I mean, we're fucking.
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: He's taking notes. Yeah, you could learn a thing or two.
- 1:25:49Speaker 1: One thing that I really like about this switch Foot song, No, yeah,
- 1:25:54Speaker 1: go ahead, fucking I love that the intro has like
- 1:25:58Speaker 1: every guitar tone that you can and get from a
- 1:26:00Speaker 1: spider too, know what I mean, and go.
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: Through very very expensive. Yeah, that's what makes it even
- 1:26:08Speaker 2: better because that dude plays really fucking cool stuff. Was
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: he got like rivera and ship like that, you've gotta
- 1:26:18Speaker 2: he's got a splawn.
- 1:26:20Speaker 1: Oh, he's got that thing I'm ding.
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: Crank. He's got a crank. He's got a crank and
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: fucking snake skin mesa.
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: Yeah, oh dude, that's what you know.
- 1:26:35Speaker 2: Next time I covered one, next time.
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: I get a fuck load of money, I'm gonna buy
- 1:26:40Speaker 1: like all the best shitty amps and just have a
- 1:26:43Speaker 1: wall of amps the next time we do.
- 1:26:45Speaker 2: I'm telling you, man that I fuck with shitty amps.
- 1:26:48Speaker 1: I know, dude, that's what That's what I've been buying.
- 1:26:52Speaker 1: I bought a crate vintage Club fifty twelve combo amp, dude,
- 1:26:57Speaker 1: and like it sounds kick ass, honestly, but It's like
- 1:27:00Speaker 1: one of those things where it's like it's a crate,
- 1:27:02Speaker 1: so it's never gonna get their respect it deserves. It's
- 1:27:05Speaker 1: always gonna be a shitty yet, but like it sounds good.
- 1:27:08Speaker 2: I don't care how well this checkter plays.
- 1:27:11Speaker 1: It's still a piece.
- 1:27:12Speaker 2: Of shit, Still a fucking checker.
- 1:27:15Speaker 1: I'd still throw this thing out the back of the
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: bus if I was in Uh.
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: Still, I'm switching ripping sinister Gates over this switch Foot
- 1:27:23Speaker 2: song on my checker. Shout out, dude.
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: For real, one of the realist to ever do it.
- 1:27:32Speaker 1: One of the coldest, The next one, the next one.
- 1:27:39Speaker 1: Anna Johnson, this sucked. This was the worst song on
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: the on the fucking whole CD.
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: Honestly, this one I wrote down. Girls can be angsty too.
- 1:27:49Speaker 2: She's also mad at her dad.
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: Yeah, she hates dad.
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: There's some lyrics in this one to rival the openers
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: from Queen.
- 1:27:57Speaker 1: Of the Damn, like you suck, You're not smart?
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: What that one was? You think you're smart? Yeah you're not.
- 1:28:05Speaker 1: You think you're smart?
- 1:28:07Speaker 2: This one she said, where is it? Oh say we're
- 1:28:11Speaker 2: not responsible? We are, dude. The song is gonna sounded
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: like fucking Lizzie Hale. That's exactly what this fuck.
- 1:28:24Speaker 1: This sucks. The lyrics I got. I'm pulled up right now.
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: What what about the world today? What about the place
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: that we call home? We've never been so many and
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: we've never been so alone. This is like a song
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: about like doing something, dude, Like you're just not even
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: doing ship. You're just sitting there fucking playing with your
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: ass at your house. Fucking Yeah, failed to recognize the
- 1:28:52Speaker 1: enemies within. That's something I think about a lot, Like
- 1:28:56Speaker 1: am I failing to recognize the enemies within?
- 1:28:59Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:29:01Speaker 1: Is that a disturbed l is that might This might
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: be a cover of a Disturbed song on the album
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: Back to the Queen of the Damned. This might be
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: a Disturbed song, but they were tied up in illegal battle.
- 1:29:16Speaker 1: They asked Anna Johnson to sing it for them. You
- 1:29:19Speaker 1: say we're not responsible, but we are. This is like
- 1:29:22Speaker 1: a Greta. This is some Greta Thumberg gas lyrics.
- 1:29:25Speaker 5: Honestly, you know what I'm reading it. Yeah, it's like
- 1:29:30Speaker 5: all about that ship, global warming and ship like that
- 1:29:37Speaker 5: fucking fracking. We need to fucking get rid of these
- 1:29:43Speaker 5: data centers, your motherfuckers.
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: Yeah, he still suck, like what's she doing with Greta? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:29:53Speaker 1: she probably. I think she's doing pretty good, you know,
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: if I remember, I think she's still out there doing
- 1:29:59Speaker 1: the damn thing.
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: Just really good.
- 1:30:03Speaker 1: Yeah, just really grinding it out, you know, until who
- 1:30:07Speaker 1: knows when Greta twenty twenty eight or whatever.
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: Is that like running for office or is that like the.
- 1:30:17Speaker 1: We'll see you know, only time will tell.
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: That's true, Only time will tell.
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: We'll see what this next election has in store for US.
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: I bet something good.
- 1:30:29Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:30:29Speaker 1: We'll have JD. Vance versus Greta for the belt and
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: a no holds bar.
- 1:30:34Speaker 2: That's what it is. There's only Yeah, there won't be
- 1:30:36Speaker 2: a presidency anymore. This belt for the belt. Interim champion. Yeah,
- 1:30:42Speaker 2: the current, the current.
- 1:30:47Speaker 1: The current will be the intercontinental champ in the US champ.
- 1:30:50Speaker 1: Fuck yeah, they'll be running the US.
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: That's how the head of state will will it'll work? Now?
- 1:30:57Speaker 1: Yeah, who's greta't tag team partner on. Honestly, I think
- 1:31:00Speaker 1: Kamala is out out of the question. I don't think
- 1:31:04Speaker 1: she was getting voted back in.
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: I was gonna say, what's the girl from Game of Thrones?
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: The big one, No, the little one, the one that
- 1:31:14Speaker 2: stabbed the Night King at the end.
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: Oh, I didn't finish Game of Thrones. I'm not gonna lie,
- 1:31:22Speaker 1: so I don't know. I got halfway through it.
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: It sucked. I stopped. I know it was. I heard
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: the ending wasn't great. I can't think of her? Are
- 1:31:33Speaker 2: you are you start? I don't know what it is,
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: Macy something. Yeah, that's gonna be Greda Thumberg's running partners.
- 1:31:41Speaker 1: It'll be jd Vance and Chris Jericho versus Gretath.
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: Thumburg and her. Yeah, and in TV they're all kinds page.
- 1:31:52Speaker 1: They'll have DDP with Dustin Diamond on it.
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: And guess who's doing the the campaign trail music? Our
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: favorite am.
- 1:32:03Speaker 1: Yeah, I was gonna say, was that. Of course Kid
- 1:32:11Speaker 1: Rock come out with American Badass. I mean, I feel
- 1:32:13Speaker 1: like that's just like a go to you know, if
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: you're if you're a Republican, that song's coming on. And
- 1:32:21Speaker 1: then the other Greta Thumberg is gonna have this damn
- 1:32:25Speaker 1: song on there, this fucking bullshit ass Anna Johnson song,
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: and that's what's gonna lose.
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what did it is. It's Gretta and slow
- 1:32:37Speaker 2: like giving big peace signs and fucking and say where where.
- 1:32:46Speaker 1: God that ship is fucking whack one's gonna be like,
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: you know what, I think I'm in a vote for Vance.
- 1:32:52Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I never never thought I would it just
- 1:32:58Speaker 1: it just feels right. He's got American ass. He I
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: know he fox his couch, but who doesn't you know? Yeah,
- 1:33:08Speaker 1: I mean really, when you think about it, who are
- 1:33:10Speaker 1: we to judge? We're gonna k kink shame Vance, I'm not.
- 1:33:15Speaker 1: I don't think so. The champ is what we're gonna
- 1:33:18Speaker 1: call him from from then on.
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: I saw that. I think we sync that up. It
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: might be a little lag, but that's all right.
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: I think the computer knows. The computer synced it up
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: for us. I think it caught it.
- 1:33:37Speaker 2: That's how you like you used to have to do
- 1:33:39Speaker 2: it on the PlayStation, where you had to get the
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: things in the in the circle at the same time.
- 1:33:44Speaker 1: Yeah, for a certain amount of time.
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: But now we're just doing that at the same time.
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: Speaking of campaign trail bands, one thing that I didn't
- 1:33:53Speaker 1: realize when we were talking about Fucking Finger eleven is
- 1:33:58Speaker 1: that they do Canes theme. They do that song slow
- 1:34:02Speaker 1: Chemical for kine Man, and I know we had nothing
- 1:34:08Speaker 1: good to say about Finger eleven, but I wish we
- 1:34:12Speaker 1: would have brought that up.
- 1:34:13Speaker 2: I totally feel like I dropped the ball on that one. Yeah.
- 1:34:17Speaker 1: I just happened to see it pop up today and
- 1:34:19Speaker 1: I was like, oh shit, they did do Kane's themes sick.
- 1:34:24Speaker 2: That is fucking sick. Dude. Kane rules, Yeah, he does.
- 1:34:29Speaker 1: He's one of the goats in my opinion, no doubt. Yeah,
- 1:34:33Speaker 1: He's like top top tier Attitude era in the I
- 1:34:37Speaker 1: think you gotta have him in the top five Attitude era,
- 1:34:40Speaker 1: Like it's hard not to have Stone Cold as number one,
- 1:34:43Speaker 1: but Kane's like undertaking. Undertaker's gotta be up there.
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: Yeah, the Rock.
- 1:34:49Speaker 1: The Rock, then Kane. Honestly, I'd put Kine above Triple
- 1:34:53Speaker 1: H in my opinion for the Attitude era. Yeah, and
- 1:34:58Speaker 1: honestly to five Yeah. In my personal opinion when it
- 1:35:01Speaker 1: comes to DX, my favorite part of d X was
- 1:35:04Speaker 1: always the New Age Outlaws.
- 1:35:06Speaker 2: I like, yeah, I think they were I saw I
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: saw on. So when we went to wrestling last week
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: in Springfield, I had gone to Springfield and seen wrestling
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: like when I was a kid with my dad and
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: like gone on and found the card from from that
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: event and they had a match. I don't remember who
- 1:35:27Speaker 2: the match was against, but they had a match that night.
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: It was in like nineteen ninety eight, like nine years old,
- 1:35:33Speaker 2: and saw New Age Outlaws and like k Kane had
- 1:35:36Speaker 2: a match.
- 1:35:38Speaker 1: Dude, that's I think you told me about Kane. Yeah,
- 1:35:41Speaker 1: about seeing Kane do that's that was a kick ass card.
- 1:35:44Speaker 1: I mean, that's a crazy tales to be a wrestling fan,
- 1:35:48Speaker 1: because like the lineup's incredible. Like, yeah, even if you
- 1:35:50Speaker 1: go to like an off air show or whatever they
- 1:35:53Speaker 1: call it, like a weekday show or something, dude, you're
- 1:35:55Speaker 1: gonna get like some fucking bank yeah house show.
- 1:35:58Speaker 2: That's that's.
- 1:35:58Speaker 1: That's the phrase the wrestling cool I went on.
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: I'm glad you did.
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: I didn't. I I was all good. I saw the
- 1:36:07Speaker 1: Bushwhackers one time out of college. That's awesome, and it
- 1:36:11Speaker 1: was pretty fucking sweet. Honestly, they kicked ass. They came
- 1:36:15Speaker 1: out and they did their like bushwhacker thing, and yeah,
- 1:36:19Speaker 1: it's pretty fucking badass. Yeah, they whipped some ass. So
- 1:36:24Speaker 1: this last song, this is another YouTube special that I
- 1:36:27Speaker 1: didn't listen to. It's Jimmy Necho featuring Brian Dude.
- 1:36:31Speaker 2: Uh yeah, Brian Ray. Brian May rips a solo in
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: this song right on. Is it good? This is yeah,
- 1:36:38Speaker 2: it was okay. It was very like walking out of
- 1:36:41Speaker 2: the theater music. You just felt like the lights are
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: coming out, the credits are rolling. I don't know if
- 1:36:46Speaker 2: this is actually what's going on if, but it felt
- 1:36:50Speaker 2: like appropriate if that's where it's at. Yeah, Brian ri
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: Chris Cornell was a writer on this song.
- 1:36:56Speaker 1: I was gonna say it has a Chris Cornell vibe
- 1:36:58Speaker 1: to it, like.
- 1:37:00Speaker 2: Yeah, there's a very good reason for that. Great news
- 1:37:04Speaker 2: for you. Yeah, I didn't have anything.
- 1:37:08Speaker 1: Yeah, the vocal melody and like the it's really nice
- 1:37:13Speaker 1: has a Chris Cornell felt. Oh yeah, I'm at the
- 1:37:16Speaker 1: Brian May solo. Yeah, this is this is solid. I
- 1:37:20Speaker 1: could definitely see this hitting over the credits and being like, damn,
- 1:37:23Speaker 1: that Spider Man movie kicked fucking ass. I can't wait
- 1:37:27Speaker 1: till the next one comes out.
- 1:37:29Speaker 2: Rowlands in the fucking opening, And then you got Joey
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: Diaz in the and this one.
- 1:37:36Speaker 1: Is yeah in the subway scene, dude, Yeah this I mean,
- 1:37:41Speaker 1: this is one of Sam Raimi's don't It's definitely not
- 1:37:44Speaker 1: his best movie. But it's up there, one of his
- 1:37:47Speaker 1: top dogs for sure.
- 1:37:48Speaker 2: It's yeah, a fun little nugget from Wikipedia. Mm hmm.
- 1:37:55Speaker 2: The Three Doors Down song let Me Go was intended
- 1:37:59Speaker 2: for the soundtrack it was with Hell instead featured on
- 1:38:03Speaker 2: their third album.
- 1:38:04Speaker 1: Oh they didn't want to give up the goods for
- 1:38:08Speaker 1: Spider Man two.
- 1:38:09Speaker 2: They said, no, this ship is gonna flop. Playboy, we're
- 1:38:12Speaker 2: putting that on album three.
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: Baby, I said, I'm here without you, baby, dude, all right,
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: Oh he's dead. I didn't know that the guy from
- 1:38:24Speaker 1: the singer I don't know his name, is not the
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: bass player from Three Doors Down.
- 1:38:29Speaker 2: I don't. I don't believe. So there's some more to
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: the bass player three doors Down. Just who else would
- 1:38:35Speaker 2: it be from three Doors Down?
- 1:38:36Speaker 1: If you're like that from three Doors Down the idea, Yeah.
- 1:38:43Speaker 2: Just he's not there.
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: Being a shithead. Yeah, no, I didn't realize that. I think, well,
- 1:38:50Speaker 1: maybe I did see something about that, but I don't
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: really keep up with too much of that.
- 1:38:54Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:38:55Speaker 1: That's one of those I see it on my timeline
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: and I'm probably damn that sucks, and then yeah, just
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: keep pushing. Yeah, yeah. Probably the biggest one recently was
- 1:39:07Speaker 1: Sam Neil dying. That's the one that stood out to
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: me the most. I was like, dude, Sam Neil is
- 1:39:12Speaker 1: a fucking badass in all his movies Jurassic Park and
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: in the Mouth of Madness and Possession and all those movies. Dude,
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: he's an omen omen two.
- 1:39:23Speaker 2: That was the last song, wasn't it. Well, then there's
- 1:39:26Speaker 2: a Spidy Sweets the hold on, let me pull these
- 1:39:30Speaker 2: up too, because he's got awards.
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: They did in Spidey Sweets, Spidy Sweet and Doc Hawks Sweet.
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: So Spidey Sweet was the most Batman song of the album, Yes,
- 1:39:44Speaker 2: and the Doc Hawks Suite a Return Return award the
- 1:39:50Speaker 2: most Nightmare before Christmas song. That's very very fair, not
- 1:39:57Speaker 2: stretches valid reason for those calls.
- 1:40:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah, those might have been tracks that were left
- 1:40:04Speaker 1: off of both of those movies. That he was like,
- 1:40:06Speaker 1: I've got the perfect song for Spider Man and this
- 1:40:10Speaker 1: is fucking whips him out of his playbook.
- 1:40:13Speaker 2: Boy. If I got a sweet for you, baby.
- 1:40:18Speaker 1: I got the perfect song for when Spider Man fucking
- 1:40:20Speaker 1: catches the train. He just gets his hard drive out.
- 1:40:25Speaker 1: He's like, fucking Dragon drops it.
- 1:40:29Speaker 2: Danny Ol flips his laptop open and he goes if.
- 1:40:31Speaker 3: I got one for you the fold man Manito, Oh
- 1:40:44Speaker 3: you didn't.
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: Know, Oh oh buddy, road Dog rules. Yeah, one of
- 1:40:53Speaker 2: the best minds. Still fucking huge, dude. Yeah, dude shredded
- 1:40:58Speaker 2: jack for a sixty year old dude.
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: And like athletic, which is the craziest thing. Like I
- 1:41:02Speaker 1: saw somebody, yeah, and he was like jumping high as fuck.
- 1:41:07Speaker 1: I was like, dude, no way, you're jumping like that.
- 1:41:09Speaker 1: When you're sick in your sixties, your knees are gonna give.
- 1:41:14Speaker 2: Diamond.
- 1:41:15Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. I need to start doing that
- 1:41:17Speaker 1: ship right now. So when I'm like seventy, I can
- 1:41:20Speaker 1: wrestle the fuck out of anyone. What can be hitting
- 1:41:24Speaker 1: little you know, a little smart ass pranksters in the
- 1:41:27Speaker 1: grocery store with diamond cutters when they're trying to moan
- 1:41:30Speaker 1: in my ear.
- 1:41:33Speaker 2: Catch them off guard me in a sixth grader looking
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: like stone cold Booker t in this.
- 1:41:37Speaker 1: Bitch pouring milk all over their heads.
- 1:41:40Speaker 2: O God.
- 1:41:43Speaker 1: Yeah, dude, one of the greatest moments in wrestling history. Honestly,
- 1:41:51Speaker 1: he's always going to be the goat. Yeah, just did
- 1:41:54Speaker 1: too much. Was too fucking funny. So committed to the
- 1:41:58Speaker 1: bit to where like you, you're not going to find
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: a better character in my opinion, and just always pissed off,
- 1:42:05Speaker 1: always badass. Like it's just one of those things where
- 1:42:08Speaker 1: it just embodies that character like to a t. Yeah,
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: drinking beer, kicking, fucking ass, always anti establishment, Yeah, dude,
- 1:42:24Speaker 1: endless catchphrases.
- 1:42:25Speaker 2: I can't wait to get this soundboard set up. It's
- 1:42:28Speaker 2: going to be obnoxious and I forgot to too much.
- 1:42:31Speaker 2: I got to.
- 1:42:33Speaker 1: I got some stone colds on there. If I fired
- 1:42:36Speaker 1: up now, it'll be ready at about twelve thirty, so
- 1:42:41Speaker 1: we'll see it for next time.
- 1:42:45Speaker 2: You know, sure got a favorite song from the album?
- 1:42:50Speaker 1: Oh shit, yeah, I forgot, Yes, I do yes, Okay, yeah,
- 1:42:54Speaker 1: I forgot dude. I'm really excited to get the playlist
- 1:42:56Speaker 1: going of our favorites from all these soundtracks. Honestly, so
- 1:43:02Speaker 1: you know this was This was honestly the toughest one
- 1:43:04Speaker 1: so far for me to pick a favorite song from
- 1:43:08Speaker 1: the standouts to get like obviously are going to be.
- 1:43:11Speaker 1: This photograph is proof like that one's up there for me,
- 1:43:14Speaker 1: could have been it almost was. It vindicated also like
- 1:43:19Speaker 1: very very good song. It's gonna be the Atari song
- 1:43:23Speaker 1: for me, that's gonna be my number one.
- 1:43:26Speaker 2: I feel like now I need to pick a different
- 1:43:28Speaker 2: one because last time we had the same song and.
- 1:43:31Speaker 1: Ship we did, didn't we what was the last time?
- 1:43:33Speaker 1: But the last one was Queen of the Dance. Oh
- 1:43:35Speaker 1: it was Papa's last time.
- 1:43:36Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll do the Taka Sunday song. Okay, that that
- 1:43:43Speaker 2: would have been my I think that would have been
- 1:43:45Speaker 2: I mean that just that seems too easy though. That
- 1:43:47Speaker 2: was that was my thought, was that just seems too
- 1:43:49Speaker 2: easy because it's familiar and I know it.
- 1:43:52Speaker 1: And yeah, it's a final boss song, like if you're
- 1:43:56Speaker 1: gonna like it's one of the top taking back Sunday songs.
- 1:44:02Speaker 1: Not not my favorite for sure, but it's up there,
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: you know what I mean.
- 1:44:06Speaker 2: It's a good one.
- 1:44:07Speaker 1: It's a good one. It's very solid. Yeah, it's a
- 1:44:11Speaker 1: tough one to be.
- 1:44:12Speaker 2: It definitely funneled me, Like I said, back to that
- 1:44:16Speaker 2: album over and over again this week, Like I listened
- 1:44:19Speaker 2: to their second album several times over the last couple
- 1:44:22Speaker 2: of weeks. Yeah, it's very good.
- 1:44:24Speaker 1: It's yeah, like you said, those first three albums have
- 1:44:28Speaker 1: so many good songs on them.
- 1:44:30Speaker 2: Yeah, and there are a couple. They peppered in some
- 1:44:33Speaker 2: some hits throughout the years. Definitely some songs I like,
- 1:44:36Speaker 2: but I definitely didn't feel any to go back for
- 1:44:39Speaker 2: re listens on a lot of them, and maybe I'm
- 1:44:41Speaker 2: missing out. Maybe I can go back and revisit it,
- 1:44:44Speaker 2: you know. Yeah.
- 1:44:46Speaker 1: I haven't listened much after that other than probably like
- 1:44:49Speaker 1: the singles and stuff, So I think at some point
- 1:44:52Speaker 1: maybe maybe it'd be worth checking out. Yeah, maybe I'll
- 1:44:56Speaker 1: listen to them and the rest of the brand new
- 1:44:58Speaker 1: albums that I haven't listened to it some point and
- 1:45:00Speaker 1: just really bombard my brain with that check out due
- 1:45:07Speaker 1: check out. Yeah, give boys a solid, a solid Yeah, yeah, Yeah,
- 1:45:13Speaker 1: that one is really good. This is gonna be a
- 1:45:16Speaker 1: really interesting playlist though, when we do get it put together,
- 1:45:18Speaker 1: because when that Papa Roach song kicks in, Yeah, I'm
- 1:45:21Speaker 1: gonna be fucking going, I'm gonna lose my mind.
- 1:45:24Speaker 2: John Not Yat scar Yah, scary Yah. The kids are
- 1:45:31Speaker 2: getting sick like whenever Yat
