**BIG NEWS! for Precious Metals** 🐐🐐 You BEST Listen to This! -- (Gold Price and SILVER Update) · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
Major news stories giving you every reason to remain super
0:06
optimistic about the price of gold, silver, and the precious
0:10
metals mining stocks. We're going to look at some
0:13
reasons why some news stories coming out about silver that
0:17
will make us all very, very happy.
0:19
But there's a breaking story, a big major story.
0:23
Did I say that with enough emphasis, we've got a major
0:26
breaking story that could upend the world of pressure precious
0:30
metals, The bricks. Remember the bricks?
0:32
Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, they came out with
0:36
something yesterday that could really rock the entire precious
0:41
metals sector. We're going to break it down and
0:44
talk about the reasons why we can be optimistic, see where we
0:47
are with this, and go in just a little bit deeper detail.
0:51
But the detail I want to go into right now is with you.
0:55
Yeah. The most important part of
0:57
what's going on. You're with me in the basement.
1:00
Don't you forget this is a cold, dark, dank basement without you.
1:04
We love precious metals. We love you.
1:06
We want you to be part of this community.
1:09
We like to call ourselves basement dwellers.
1:11
So welcome, basement dwellers, don't forget.
1:14
Please subscribe to the channel, give the video a thumbs up,
1:16
leave a comment. Don't forget to turn on
1:18
notifications. And please leave a leave, leave
1:21
a comment in the comment section so we can learn from you.
1:24
You're smart. I'll tell you one quick thing
1:27
about you that I learned from all this YouTube analytics.
1:31
The people that watch this channel, the people that are
1:34
into precious metals have a little higher intellectual
1:38
horsepower than the average bear.
1:40
Let's talk about silver and then let's talk about this major
1:44
bricks story. And then we're going to talk
1:47
even more about silver. But let's start out by
1:49
recognizing that yesterday we hit an all time high in the
1:54
silver price. Believable guys, there's reasons
1:58
why this is happening. We're going to talk about one of
2:00
them right now. But also let's remember
2:04
something very critical. Something's different.
2:06
Do you agree with me something I've been following silver, You
2:10
guys, a lot of you have been down here for a long time with
2:12
me in the basement, and something is really different
2:16
right now. I'm going to tell you a story
2:18
about when I talked to a newbie to the precious metal sector
2:22
yesterday. But first, let's go out and see
2:25
what's happening. That's very interesting and
2:28
could be a major development for silver.
2:30
This comes from Bloomberg. OK, Why do we care about
2:34
Bloomberg? Because Bloomberg is the world's
2:37
biggest financial news outletter.
2:39
Or maybe one of them. I may have misstated that.
2:42
Nonetheless, Bloomberg is covering silver, but there's
2:45
something in this little blurb that's so critical.
2:48
They can mean so much for the price of silver.
2:50
They say silver hits fresh record as strong ETF inflows
2:56
interesting sustain the rally. What do you think about that?
3:00
Well here, this is short. I'll read it to you.
3:03
Short and sweet silver touched a fresh record and kept its second
3:07
weekly gain as strong inflows to exchange traded funds added more
3:12
impetus to a scorching rally. The white metal rose as much as
3:19
4% on Friday to an all time high of $59.33 an ounce.
3:26
This is what we want to pay attention to.
3:28
Total additions to silverbacked ETFs in the four days through
3:35
Thursday are already the highest for any full week since July.
3:41
A strong indicator of investor blah blah blah.
3:44
Then they wouldn't let me read the rest.
3:46
Guys, people are in four days. People added more silver to the
3:51
silver ETF than any week all the way through July.
3:56
Why is that important? Why do we want to pay attention
3:59
to that? Because the ETFs are how the
4:03
average investors and some of the institutional investors get
4:08
exposure to silver. They don't, you know, your mom
4:12
and pop, the average people. We have a an affectionate term
4:16
we like to use for those people out there who don't own physical
4:20
metals yet. We like to call them the the
4:24
sheeple. This is a sign that they are
4:26
coming. Remember that could be like a
4:28
tidal wave of new demand into the silver market.
4:33
The fact that we've got pretty massively higher inflows into
4:37
ETS. Whether you like the ETFs or
4:40
not, I know a lot of you out there or if you don't own it or
4:43
you don't hold it, you don't own it.
4:44
That's great, OK. But the fact that the ETFs are
4:48
going up, coupled with more things that we're going to talk
4:50
about, and we got a lot to cover today, later in this video,
4:54
shows us that we are in a new world for silver.
4:58
Do you feel it? Am I alone?
5:02
I feel like I'm alone down here. But do you also have the
5:06
feeling, the gut feeling that we are in a new paradigm, a new
5:10
weather pattern, however the heck you choose to describe it,
5:14
your gut feeling for silver? I was talking to a couple
5:17
newbies, younger people, I'm 55. These were kids to me in their
5:22
mid 20s. Yesterday.
5:24
People are getting interested in silver.
5:26
And I was explaining to him, I mean, it's like it was like a
5:30
volcano erupted. Of all the reasons why I'm
5:33
optimistic about silver, I've explained to him it's a monetary
5:38
metal. It has been money, right?
5:40
I think even longer than gold. But on top of that, the
5:44
industrial demand for silver, the supply and demand, basic
5:48
fundamentals are insane. OK, We don't have, we've got a
5:52
deficit for the last five years. You know that, right?
5:55
The world is consuming way more silver for five years straight
5:59
then it's producing. OK, we're borrowing from the
6:02
silver rainy day fund, right? The silver that was mine
6:07
thousands of years ago. Hundred a year ago, doesn't
6:09
matter. That's above ground.
6:10
We're borrowing rainy. Guess what?
6:13
Do you agree with me? Rainy day funds eventually run
6:17
out. OK, On top of that, the mining
6:20
production has been trending downward for almost the last 10
6:24
years. And on top of that, I was
6:26
explaining to these and they got excited.
6:29
That's the good news. We're going to have some younger
6:31
people joining us as well. Maybe you're younger.
6:34
That's great. Welcome, welcome to the
6:35
basement. OK, But on on top of that, the
6:38
demand and I won't go down because we got so much more to
6:41
cover, but the demand for silver is going through the roof.
6:44
It's insane. We've got that Bloomberg
6:46
covering us now let's shift gears and talk about this
6:50
massive, maybe one of the biggest news stories of, I don't
6:55
know, the Millennium, the decade, the year, what it may
6:57
be, the year that may definitely probably the year for the
7:01
precious metals. It's more gold centered right
7:04
now, but gold and silver, gold's the granddaddy.
7:07
We'll get to that. We talked about being if you
7:09
don't hold it, you don't own it. If you want to hold some silver,
7:13
beautiful silver in your hand, I'm going to show you a work of
7:16
art. OK, that's the year of the Snake
7:18
coin from channel sponsor First Mint.
7:22
I'm down here because of the support of our sponsors.
7:25
First Mint is a silver mint in the United States in Las Vegas,
7:30
NV. But what's interesting is they
7:32
are owned by First Majestic Silver, Keith Newmeyer's huge
7:36
silver mining company. First Majestic mines the silver
7:41
in Mexico, ships it to Las Vegas, NV, right where it's
7:45
transformed into these world class silver bullion products.
7:48
And then it goes straight to you.
7:50
You can check them out here at their website, firstment.com.
7:54
Unbelievable positive feedback that we've received from our
7:59
community. And I hold on one second.
8:03
There you go. There's the hail to the cheap.
8:05
They got a cool Las Vegas round, the Year of the Snake that I
8:09
just showed you, a work of art. Also the Year of the Dragon.
8:12
But wait, there's more. If you go up there to the store,
8:15
they've got bars. They have a Cyber Monday sale
8:18
going on right now there. That is, there's the Cyber
8:21
Monday sale on your screen. They also have the Folds of
8:24
Honor line of products. There's three of those that
8:28
benefit the Folds of Honor Foundation, which provides
8:32
academic scholarships to children and spouses who are
8:37
survivors of disabled and deceased members of the first
8:42
responder and military communities.
8:45
Thank you First Mint, for sponsoring Ron's basement.
8:49
The big story. The big story.
8:52
OK, the bricks made a major move, I guess we can call it at
8:57
this point. Let's break it down.
8:58
It has to do with a gold backed currency and we, and this was a
9:02
big story going on for years and years where the bricks going to
9:06
come out with a gold backed currency.
9:08
Let's talk about what they're doing, what stage of the process
9:11
they're in and why this could be such a big, major, major source
9:17
of demand for the precious metals as we move into the
9:20
coming months, quarters and years together.
9:23
Let's go out here first to get a couple of the headlines.
9:30
This one came from radar. Hold on, wrong button.
9:34
There we go. Now it should be on your screen
9:37
radar with Archie. And this is a big account,
9:42
right? Almost 355,000 followers on X
9:46
news. And then we get it from Robert
9:48
Kiyosaki. We got it.
9:49
We're going to look at a number of different perspectives on
9:51
this, but the Bricks Group launches a gold backed unit
9:56
payment system. Did you hear that?
9:58
A gold backed unit payment system, 40% gold, 60% bricks
10:05
currency basket unit will allow 30 plus countries to trade
10:09
precious metals outside of western platforms. the US
10:13
dollars days as a global reserve currency are numbered.
10:16
Now let's go to the next story about this.
10:19
This comes our commentary from Robert Kiyosaki, right?
10:23
Very wealthy man, very well known figure in the financial
10:27
world, author of best selling book Rich Dad, Poor dad, he says
10:30
big breaking news Brazil, Russia, India, China, South
10:35
Africa announced the unit a gold backed money bye bye U.S.
10:39
dollar. Stand by, stay awake, stay tuned
10:43
and don't be a loser. My forecast is because of the D
10:47
dollarization that savers of U.S. dollars will be big losers.
10:52
If you own U.S. dollars, hyperinflation may wipe you out.
10:57
And then he says this. I stand by my mantra.
11:00
Own gold, own silver, Bitcoin and Ethereum.
11:05
Take care and stay alert. OK, let's go to the next one.
11:09
And then I'm going to break down why this is important and kind
11:12
of where we are on this because there's a lot.
11:14
This is a breaking story and there's a lot of different
11:17
perspectives being shared right now.
11:21
This came from watcher Guru Bricks Unit launches a gold
11:25
backed unit payment system. Guys, this is a gold backed
11:29
money. OK?
11:30
Remember the gold standard in the United States that works so
11:34
well for hundreds of years? All right, let's go down and get
11:39
this one paragraph to read you. The Bricks Grouping has
11:42
officially launched its Goldback unit payment system.
11:45
The Block has increased its investments in gold over the
11:48
last several years. We know, right?
11:51
Central banks buying gold at a very very crazy pace advancing
11:56
its D dollarization initiative. The unit represents one of the
12:00
clearest formal attempts to engineer a basket backed
12:04
collateral anchor that means backed by something real
12:08
something like gold, something like silver OK settlement
12:11
instrument intended specifically for wholesale cross-border trade
12:17
in a multi polar financial world.
12:20
So a couple of key things about this.
12:22
Number one, this is gold backed. You got to above it 40% gold
12:27
back. The other 60% will be backed by
12:31
the five countries and the BRICS, Brazil, Russia, India,
12:34
China, South Africa, 12% each of those.
12:38
So 5 * 12% is 60%. So it's 60% backed by those five
12:43
countries currencies, but 40% backed by gold now, right?
12:48
Everybody's getting all excited about this and it is super
12:51
exciting because we know the world.
12:53
They're selling their bonds. I got a article, I didn't have
12:56
time to bring it up for you, that talked about how much AUS
13:00
bonds China and India. I think it is sold.
13:02
Anyway, the world's moving towards gold.
13:05
This is still in what's called, some people call it an
13:10
exploratory phase. This is very early days for
13:14
this. But the fact that they're doing
13:16
it and the fact that it's gone public is a big, big deal.
13:20
I heard someone refer to it. It may have been Vince Lancy.
13:22
Vince Lanchi, and I believe he was one of the first people to
13:26
break the story. They're calling it a pumpkin
13:29
patch, which kind of makes sense.
13:31
Like they're doing it in a smaller controlled environment.
13:35
This will not be a currency as we understand it right now
13:39
that'll be used amongst people in those individual countries,
13:43
but it will be used on a large scale commercial level between
13:47
countries to settle trade with each other.
13:50
And guys, it's backed by gold. OK, that's the future.
13:56
The world is tired of paper make believe Fiat money.
14:00
The world is tired of the shenanigans that went on with
14:02
it. OK, I love my country, the
14:04
United States, but a lot of us what I think agree.
14:07
I don't know how you feel that the United States did to a
14:10
certain degree, overstep its boundaries when it comes to the
14:17
benefit that we have from being the world reserve currency.
14:20
To be very interesting how this will play out.
14:23
It's another step in the world de dollarizing.
14:26
I don't like it, right? I live in the United States.
14:29
OK, right. But it's the reality of what's
14:32
going on and we need to watch it in.
14:34
This could create massive new demand for the precious metal.
14:38
Look, gold's the granddaddy of them all, but what's the stop a
14:42
basket of metals or even other commodities being included in
14:46
this? And I got a little extra added
14:50
bonus for you today because I had a deep conversation with a
14:53
very intelligent, very high level person yesterday about the
14:58
the other related topic to this in my opinion, which is the
15:02
tokenization of precious metals. People are saying it is going to
15:07
take off. Here's a little secret for you.
15:09
Tether, one of the world's biggest, if not the biggest
15:12
world crypto companies is making massive moves into the precious
15:17
metals sector. It's happening right now.
15:20
I've heard it from CE OS of mining companies.
15:24
Tether is kind of the talk of the town in the precious metals
15:27
world. They are tokenizing gold right
15:30
now, right? They are the world's largest
15:33
holder of gold outside of central banks.
15:37
Whether you like crypto or not, that's up to you whether you're
15:40
up. I don't, you know, purist if I
15:42
don't hold it in my hand. Look at the backside of this
15:45
coin from First Mint, by the way, really beautiful.
15:48
I believe that's maybe the Chinese calendar, right?
15:51
If you're one of these people and there's the first Mint logo
15:54
right in the very middle right, that's great.
15:57
But tokenization of the metals is going to be absolutely huge
16:03
because each token that they issue has to be backed by real
16:08
physical metal. So whether you like it or not,
16:10
again, your deal no problem. It's going to create and it's
16:14
already happening, massive demand for the metals.
16:16
And that's, that's the, that's the basement edge that you have
16:21
because, but we were talking about this 2-3 months ago,
16:25
right? People are now just really
16:27
starting to talk about it. Think about that coupled with
16:31
the bricks, right? And if this really takes off
16:34
this new unit that they've created, we are you feeling warm
16:40
and fuzzy I ask you about about the precious metals.
16:43
One more quick article on this subject and then we got a lot
16:46
more still to talk about. This came from Zero Hedge.
16:50
And I do want to give credit to Vince.
16:51
This is Vince VBL is Vince Lancy.
16:55
He says bricks successfully launched the Goldback unit as
16:59
far as I know I think he and maybe Chris Marcus from Arcadia
17:02
Economics were the first to kind of break this yesterday morning.
17:05
The Bricks Goldback unit has been successfully launched.
17:09
For nearly two decades, the global payment system has relied
17:14
almost entirely on paper money, right?
17:18
Fantasy money, debt backed sovereign money and
17:22
corresponding banking trust to conduct trade.
17:25
That architecture is now fracturing under geopolitical
17:29
strain, sanctioned regimes and capital controls as settlement
17:35
rails bifurcate. Which means split, right?
17:38
It's a fancy way to say split along East West lines.
17:42
So in the West, we still love to use make believe money.
17:47
It's worked out pretty well. But in the east, right, they're
17:51
kind of saying no more again, right?
17:53
The reason why we want to, the reason why that's important is
17:57
now they're moving to more gold backed real money.
18:02
OK, experiments in the are emerging to rebuild trust, which
18:08
is what right gold backed money does at the asset level rather
18:14
than the sovereign balance sheet level.
18:16
You can go out to zero hedge and read more of this well one more
18:19
paragraph. The unit represents one of the
18:21
clearest formal attempts to do precisely that engineer a basket
18:26
back collateral anchored settlement instrument intended
18:30
specifically for wholesale cross-border trade in a multi
18:34
polar financial world. Again, like we talked about
18:37
earlier, this is not a, a, a currency or not money that will
18:42
be used amongst private citizens within these countries.
18:46
This will be used on a very large scale.
18:49
If it does indeed take take get traction, which I don't know
18:55
about you, but to me it sure seems to make sense, right?
18:59
Think about within the within the context of all the gold that
19:03
these eastern central banks have been buying and the speculation
19:08
on top of that, that they're actually buying a lot more.
19:10
Wasn't a gold Sachs or somebody not too long ago that said that
19:14
China's actual gold purchases could potentially be like 10
19:18
times higher than what they're officially reporting.
19:21
And we don't even know in the United States if we got all of
19:24
our gold at Fort Knox. Supposedly we're the biggest
19:30
gold holder in the world, but nobody's done an audit there for
19:33
what, 50 years? It's totally crazy, right?
19:37
So it's no no wonder that people like Robert Kiyosaki, the
19:42
smartest minds out there fence Lancey see this as a big, major,
19:47
major development. Now let's go back to silver.
19:50
OK, before we do that, I do want to say thank you to First Mining
19:54
Gold for sponsoring the Ron's basement content.
19:57
First Mining Gold is a development stage Canadian gold
20:01
company. They have two of the world's
20:03
largest gold or Canada's largest gold development stage projects,
20:09
Spring Pool in Ontario, du Parque in Quebec.
20:12
We're talking about millions and millions of Oz of gold in the
20:16
ground, OK? They've been working on these
20:19
these projects for years, decades to establish.
20:23
That this gold is there in the ground.
20:25
Now they're working through the development phase.
20:28
Remember, it's gold in the ground in Canada, OK?
20:32
And remember this key, key point, There aren't a lot of
20:36
big, big gold development stage projects in favorable
20:40
jurisdictions. And guess what?
20:42
The big gold mining companies, right, the big Newmont Barracks
20:46
and Nico, those big companies right now are printing money.
20:51
They're making massive record amounts ounce of cash flow, but
20:54
while they're doing that, they're eating through their
20:57
pipeline for future development. They will need to refresh their
21:00
pipeline at some point in the future.
21:03
And all those big companies are looking to grow, which I'm not a
21:08
financial advisor and I'm not making any predictions, but any
21:12
company that's got advanced stage development projects, I
21:15
think could be in a real good situation in the future as these
21:20
big companies are looking to replenish their pipelines and to
21:24
grow as well. You can learn more about First
21:27
Mining Gold at firstmininggold.com.
21:29
Marin Catoosa, let me say that to you again.
21:35
Marian Catoosa is someone in the precious metal sector that I've
21:39
always held in super high regard.
21:41
The guy's very, very smart, has an unbelievable track record of
21:46
success. He says something about silver
21:48
that we want to pay attention to.
21:50
And then we got more because the world around, from around the
21:54
world about silver, some some very, very encouraging
21:57
information. Let's go out here to though to
21:59
see what Marin had to say. He said this just a few days
22:02
back. Silver smashed through the
22:06
psychological $50 barrier, $55 is the new immediate reality
22:13
until further notice. Guys, we were talking about
22:17
this, remember like 3-4 weeks ago we had, we were talking
22:21
about the fact that we were hoping that Silver could
22:24
establish a new consolidation, a new base around $4547 per oz.
22:31
Now we've got people like Marin Catoosa talking about the
22:36
immediate reality, which to me, I don't know how you read that,
22:39
but that could be the new base at $55.
22:43
Look, there's no guarantee what can happen, right?
22:45
Again, I'm not a financial advisor.
22:47
Please always be responsible. But it sure feels like to me
22:51
that this new consolidation level, our new base, our new
22:55
foundation, what could be definitely in that 55 to $52.
23:01
But what he says even more. Oh, I love this word.
23:03
We're going to say this word together.
23:05
I want you to get there with me. OK?
23:08
And the ceiling for the silver price just became Say it with Me
23:15
unlimited. How do you like the sound of
23:21
that? And there's the chart down there
23:22
with silver breaking out again. Yeah, Let's get the.
23:26
We haven't had the virtual crayons out all day.
23:29
There's the cups, there's the cuppy.
23:32
And with every cup, right, there's the handle.
23:35
OK. And there is like he says, I'll
23:38
circle it. The breakout.
23:40
OK. There are no people.
23:42
I want you to think about this. This is critical.
23:45
Where are we sitting today? I don't know.
23:46
Let me go. Let's let's see if I can pull it
23:48
up. Hold on one second.
23:51
Here we go. Hold on here.
23:52
Let's look at the silver price. It's not going to move today
23:56
because the markets not open. However, let's go out here.
24:00
I want you to look at this work of art that we have in front of
24:03
us right now, which is the CNBC silver futures price for, I
24:09
think, March. Yeah, Here, let me get the
24:11
crayons out so you guys know how to read this.
24:13
This is the Comax. OK.
24:16
So it's futures and this is March of 2026.
24:20
Now as you can see, we have a 50, almost a $59 silver price.
24:27
Look at the steady, I won't get the crayons out.
24:29
You can look at that chart for yourself and see a very steady
24:33
increase in the price of silver over the last year.
24:36
But we look at five years, OK, same thing and we've talked
24:40
about this many times. We will get the crayons out for
24:43
this. This is critical.
24:45
Look at this. What was that like a four year
24:47
period where we basically stayed between 20 and $30.00?
24:52
That was a massive base, obviously Now, oh, I don't know
24:56
from about I didn't say the last 1819 months we've had this nice
25:01
smooth move up. But what is so critical?
25:06
Darn it, keep putting my crayons away.
25:08
I need to get my crayons back out is for us to remember where
25:12
this red line is right here, All right, where we are right now at
25:18
$59 silver. Guess what, right?
25:21
The sky is the limit because there is nobody out there.
25:26
None of your neighbors, not even the sheeple who are just maybe
25:31
starting to wake up or when they wake up.
25:34
There's nobody out there who bought silver up here, right?
25:39
Nobody paid $60.00 an ounce. Nobody paid $75.00 an ounce.
25:44
There's nobody up there who's saying Boo Hoo, Boo Hoo.
25:47
Let me come back and look you in the eye.
25:51
I bought silver for $70.00 an ounce.
25:54
Well, then you got ripped off. OK, whenever you buy silver,
25:57
here's a little tip for you. By the way, always buy it as
26:00
close as you can to the spot price, OK, You want to get a
26:04
good value. I like First Mint.
26:06
Great prices and a real premium customer experience.
26:10
But no matter what you're doing, when you buy gold, silver,
26:14
platinum, Palladium, you always want to get it closer to the
26:16
spot. Any of this.
26:17
If you're into coin collecting, that's great.
26:19
If you're a numismatic, that's the tech word to say it and you
26:22
know what you're doing, that's great.
26:24
If you're like me, I'm not a numismatic.
26:28
I am non numismatic. I'm not a coin collector.
26:31
If I go to a coin shop and look at a bunch of old coins, what
26:34
I'm concerned is how much silver is in them.
26:37
I think coin collecting is great.
26:38
I'm not putting it down. But if you don't know what
26:40
you're doing, you might want to be very careful because you're
26:43
going to pay a big premium, right?
26:46
When silver's at 58 bucks an ounce, you may pay $100 for one
26:50
ounce of silver and you may not get the greatest deal.
26:54
I digress. Let me get back to it.
26:57
There's nobody out there, right, who's waiting for 70 or $80
27:02
silver to sell, excuse me, so that they can get their money
27:06
back. That already happened.
27:09
That happened over the last year and a half because there were
27:14
people out there who'd bought silver for 4248, $39.00 per oz,
27:22
that we're saying that was the dumbest thing I ever did was buy
27:25
silver for $39.00 per oz. And when silver hit $39.00 per
27:31
oz, they sold, right? And that puts sell pressure
27:34
because it's all, it's a market on the price of silver.
27:37
OK, Same people that bought it 4448, whatever, right?
27:41
And we're waiting to get their quote UN quote Fiat back.
27:45
I don't think it was a smart thing to do.
27:46
But, you know, everybody's free to do whatever they want.
27:50
What that means is now everybody who owns silver basically is in
27:55
the green, is making a profit right now.
27:59
OK? So there's no overhead
28:00
resistance. We truly have unlimited
28:04
potential when it comes to silver.
28:06
Now, we talked about earlier what's going on with the bricks.
28:08
But let's briefly touch on because this came back up again
28:12
this week. India, hold on.
28:16
I guess there are 1.4 million people in India and they love
28:19
gold and silver and we love the Indian people and people in
28:23
India. We're talking about a new, a new
28:27
world with what they can do with silver.
28:30
Is this silver monetization? I would say yes, right?
28:34
Silver being being used as collateral.
28:38
And let's get to the right article.
28:40
This comes from the highly respected Metals Focus Precious
28:44
Metals Weekly. And they're asking a question
28:48
which is will including silver as collateral be a game changer
28:53
for Indian rural communities? Make sure I give credit.
28:57
I think this was actually a tweet.
28:59
This yeah, this came from the SRS Rocco report here.
29:02
Let's read what they say. The Reserve Bank of India has
29:05
permitted silver as collateral alongside gold.
29:08
As of April 1st, 2026, Indians will be able to pledge silver
29:12
assets to access US credit at various bank and financial
29:16
institutions. The reason why this is so
29:18
important is because #1 there's 1.4 billion people in India.
29:23
There's also a lot of middle class and poor farmers that use
29:27
silver as a savings account because they've learned over
29:31
time that Fiat money, paper make believe, promise money.
29:36
It's a new term we can use. Promise money can sometimes
29:40
become only worth the paper that it's printed on.
29:43
So this is a big deal because guess what, people in India,
29:47
let's go back here. I'm going to look you in the
29:49
eye. They love precious metals like
29:54
nothing you can imagine. I know Indian people.
29:57
I've talked to them, I've asked them.
29:59
I've heard it's a fact. And people in India love to
30:03
hoard gold and silver, not like the people in the United States.
30:07
The sheeple, quick one, but it's way different.
30:11
There is this monetization of silver.
30:14
Let's read what they said. Hold on, here we go, Metals
30:18
Focus said. In a major regulatory shift, the
30:21
Reserve Bank of India has amended its Gold and Silver
30:25
Loans Directions 2025, permitting loans to be secured
30:33
against silver ornaments and coins alongside gold, effective
30:41
from April 1st, 2026. So not just silver bars, not
30:47
just silver coins, because people in India love precious
30:50
metals jewelry, but ornaments and not like ornaments.
30:53
I don't think like you. And I think of, hey, it's almost
30:56
Christmas in the United States. If you celebrate Christmas,
31:00
happy holidays. OK, Will we get?
31:02
Where is he? Remember him?
31:04
The old silver bear. But see that, that that bear
31:07
right there, See my finger, It goes up.
31:09
That's a little teddy bear that we love.
31:12
Who has a blindfold on that says $85, By the way, they'll be a
31:16
big party. You'll be invited when we take
31:19
the blindfold off the bear, which will happen when silver
31:25
hits $85 per oz because don't forget, right, the big gold bear
31:29
with his Santa hat on for years had a blindfold on that said
31:34
$2500. And we said we would take it off
31:37
when the gold price at 2500, which people said, you know what
31:40
they told us? They said we were crazy for
31:43
thinking that, right? Oh, gold will never hit 25.
31:45
You'll be, you'll be in a nursing home, Ron, taking that
31:49
blindfold off. Well, I'm not in a nursing home
31:52
yet in the blindfolds off the gold bear.
31:55
So we can look forward to that for the silver bear as well
31:58
because our friends in India can now use their ornaments, not the
32:01
types of ornaments that you put on a Christmas tree.
32:04
They mean, I believe like ornamental jewelry, silver as
32:10
collateral for, for getting loans and Fiat.
32:13
To me that's kind of like a silver backed loan.
32:17
That's kind of like the monetization of silver, wouldn't
32:20
you say? OK.
32:23
And so much going on in the world.
32:27
Are people going crazy over not look, we know there were big
32:31
lines. You remember hearing that the
32:33
pictures of the craziness going on with gold, is it going on
32:37
with silver, right? Are people waiting?
32:39
Not in the United States, right? Yeah.
32:42
You know, we're we're remember people are just starting to wake
32:46
up. But in other parts of the world,
32:48
are we getting evidence that there could be a silver mania
32:52
that could be coming, coming to a coin shop near you?
32:57
Check this out. This comes to us from Bullion
33:02
Star. And they say this, and I'm going
33:05
to show you who Bullion Star is. Record silver prices aren't
33:09
slowing demand. They're accelerating it.
33:12
Lines have formed outside our bullion center before we even
33:17
opened. OK.
33:19
Remember, this is silver. This week's silver sales are
33:22
already up 84% versus last week in three days.
33:28
Still to go. Customers are buying more silver
33:32
at these record prices, not less.
33:36
This is what real ground level physical demand looks like.
33:40
Then I'm going to tell you why it's even more optimistic.
33:43
But look at this, right? These are people lined up before
33:48
the shop opens to buy silver in Singapore.
33:52
And who is sure if I can get this up.
33:54
Yeah. Let me share this with you.
33:56
This is Bullion Star. They're a big bullion dealer.
34:00
And I found this interesting. Any company that has almost 6000
34:05
Google reviews. Let me get the crayons out all
34:09
right is big OK, but not only do they have 6000 reviews, but they
34:15
basically have a five star rating 4.9 out of 5 S very
34:22
interesting and they are telling us that there's massive massive
34:25
demand going on for but but wait, there's more there's more
34:31
because don't forget this guy's this is 2025.
34:36
I'm old enough to remember life before the Internet and that's
34:39
when at that time you may remember it as well.
34:42
The only way that you can get your hands on physical metal was
34:46
to go to a coin store to go do what those people are doing line
34:49
up If you had the line up. We are living in a new age right
34:54
where people can buy right now in the next two minutes, you and
34:58
I together you can do it yourself.
35:00
I can do it myself. We could buy 100 ounces of
35:03
silver in the next two minutes online.
35:06
We could buy 1000. We could buy a monster box full
35:09
of silver. So it's not just what's going on
35:12
physically. And what I'm the point I'm
35:13
making here is that the supply of retail silver can get wiped
35:18
out now way faster than any other time in history, OK, by
35:24
online purchases. It's a new world, it's a new
35:27
game. And we've seen that happen.
35:28
We saw it during C-19 and we saw it even happen once after that.
35:32
Remember when silver was like $25.00 an ounce and American
35:36
silver eagles were selling for like 50?
35:39
There was like 100% premium on them.
35:41
So, you know, don't be shocked. I hope that you are happy.
35:45
Everybody's got a different amount of metal that they feel
35:48
comfortable with. I hope that you're happy with
35:50
what you have now. I'm happy that you join me.
35:53
Massive, massive developments going on right now.
35:57
New paradigm for gold, for silver.
35:59
OK. I appreciate you coming down
36:01
here and joining us. On behalf of myself and
36:04
upstairs, Susie, my lovely wife and assistant, thank you for
36:08
being here, OK? And we're going to look forward
36:10
to seeing you next time. It's going to be a wild ride,
36:14
OK? Take care of yourself and I will
36:16
see you, yes you next time.
