- 0:02Speaker 1: Welcome to the rogue recap. Hot takes, cold facts, and
- 0:07Speaker 1: zero respect for the official narrative. Sit back, roll your eyes,
- 0:11Speaker 1: and let's recap rogue style. What's up, guys. It is Tuesday,
- 0:17Speaker 1: February tenth, and the news cycle is just unfathomable. Right now.
- 0:26Speaker 1: We are hyper focused in the mainstream media on this
- 0:33Speaker 1: missing person's case with Nancy Gusri, which is Savannah Guthrie
- 0:38Speaker 1: of The Today Show's mom, and while I'm really sorry
- 0:44Speaker 1: and sad and all the things that her mom is missing,
- 0:48Speaker 1: this wall to wall coverage is frightening. Number one, So
- 0:55Speaker 1: many people go missing every single day. You know, children, baby,
- 1:00Speaker 1: these moms, dads, brothers, sisters, cousins, friends, dogs, you name it,
- 1:06Speaker 1: just taken off the street by horrible people and we
- 1:08Speaker 1: never see them again. You know, I remember growing up
- 1:11Speaker 1: and seeing kids on the sides of milk cart ands,
- 1:13Speaker 1: like that's a real thing. And they give you those
- 1:16Speaker 1: projections of what the kids you know might look like
- 1:18Speaker 1: because they've been looking for them for ten years and
- 1:21Speaker 1: they never get any help, they never get any coverage,
- 1:24Speaker 1: they never get anything. You know, it's they just become
- 1:26Speaker 1: a part of the missing person search and never to
- 1:29Speaker 1: be heard from again, and it's terrifying.
- 1:32Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:32Speaker 1: It's the reason why when my kids were little, you know,
- 1:35Speaker 1: I was such a lunatic when we would go out.
- 1:38Speaker 1: I still am pretty much. Oh. I mean, I'm eyes
- 1:40Speaker 1: open because I just don't trust anybody or anything. But
- 1:45Speaker 1: I really struggled with this coverage, like, I'm really sorry
- 1:49Speaker 1: that this happened to your mom, But I don't know
- 1:51Speaker 1: why the whole world has to watch it. And I
- 1:53Speaker 1: think what's even more frightening is that people are watching it.
- 1:57Speaker 1: They're glued to it like it's a show, Like you're
- 2:00Speaker 1: watching this show and there's I mean it's every channel.
- 2:05Speaker 1: It's the liberal channels, it's the Republican channels, it's the
- 2:09Speaker 1: podcasts and the social media, and it's just like minute
- 2:14Speaker 1: to minute. I mean, every single news outlet online has
- 2:18Speaker 1: an updated blog that has minute to minute updates, but
- 2:21Speaker 1: there's nothing to update, there's nothing to say, and I'm
- 2:25Speaker 1: just like, Okay, well there's kids missing in that same
- 2:28Speaker 1: town that haven't gotten a lick of coverage. And I
- 2:32Speaker 1: get it, you know, she's a celebrities mother, but I
- 2:35Speaker 1: don't know, this just feels like too far from me, Like,
- 2:38Speaker 1: you know, I pray for anybody who loses a loved
- 2:41Speaker 1: one and is on a search to recover them and
- 2:45Speaker 1: find them. I can't even imagine what that feels like.
- 2:47Speaker 1: But this wall to wall coverage is weird. I don't know.
- 2:51Speaker 1: That's just my humble opinion and in other news, and
- 2:56Speaker 1: it's not going to be a long one tonight, guys.
- 2:58Speaker 1: I just I just wanted to touch base on a
- 3:00Speaker 1: couple of things. Last night. We did the half hour
- 3:02Speaker 1: show with Peter mcklevan and we've got part two of
- 3:05Speaker 1: that tomorrow. And the reason that I bring that up
- 3:09Speaker 1: is number one, it was a fantastic interview. Peter mcklevin,
- 3:12Speaker 1: if you're not familiar with him, hosts the Hearts of
- 3:15Speaker 1: Oak podcast and worked with Lord Pearson, who's a member
- 3:19Speaker 1: of the UK Parliament. Just an incredible human being, very
- 3:23Speaker 1: versed and living in the UK. Truly understands what it
- 3:28Speaker 1: is to be in sort of this big brother utopia
- 3:33Speaker 1: that got going on over there. It is scary. They
- 3:36Speaker 1: are arresting people for social media posts or putting them
- 3:39Speaker 1: in jail for two and three and four and five years,
- 3:42Speaker 1: and then they have these Pakistani grooming gangs running around
- 3:47Speaker 1: raping little girls and you got Keir Starmer. Now officially
- 3:51Speaker 1: tonight just gave the okay for them to destroy all
- 3:55Speaker 1: of the records because in discovery and in talking to
- 3:59Speaker 1: the victims during the rape inquiry, which is currently being
- 4:01Speaker 1: held by the Member of Parliament by the name of
- 4:04Speaker 1: Rupert Lowe, it's all these Muslim Pakistani guys. So they're like, oh,
- 4:09Speaker 1: it's islamophobia. I'm like, whoa, We'll wait a minute. Just
- 4:13Speaker 1: because the guys that rape them are Muslim doesn't mean
- 4:17Speaker 1: that you, as the victim, have islamophobia. Because you tell
- 4:20Speaker 1: the court that the guy who raped you is a
- 4:23Speaker 1: Pakistani Muslim, I'm like, how is that islamophobia? These are
- 4:29Speaker 1: just the facts of the case. If you're being attacked
- 4:32Speaker 1: by somebody and you describe them, because that's typically what
- 4:35Speaker 1: they say when you go into the police. I need
- 4:37Speaker 1: a description of the assailant. I needed a description of
- 4:40Speaker 1: the purp so that we can go out and look
- 4:42Speaker 1: for them, right, And that's what's happening right now in
- 4:44Speaker 1: this wall to wall coverage and Nancy gutherriin nobody knows
- 4:46Speaker 1: who the hell he is. But in the UK right
- 4:49Speaker 1: now they're saying absolutely not we don't want that. That's wrong,
- 4:52Speaker 1: and we're going to stop it right now. And this
- 4:55Speaker 1: just feeds into Islamophobia. It's not Islamophobia, it's called reality.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Young girls, as young some of them as five, six
- 5:04Speaker 1: and seven have been horrifically raped. Even the singer Duffy
- 5:08Speaker 1: came out and said that she was kidnapped and held
- 5:11Speaker 1: against her well and raped by a group, a grooming gang.
- 5:15Speaker 1: I mean, it's not like people of some sort of
- 5:20Speaker 1: you know, they're noteworthy, and they're telling you that it's happening.
- 5:23Speaker 1: You're talking to families on the street and they can't
- 5:26Speaker 1: even keep these animals out of their houses. They're climbing
- 5:29Speaker 1: into the windows. And you have, unfortunately a demographic in
- 5:36Speaker 1: the UK now where members of Parliament sitting on their
- 5:40Speaker 1: local legislative councils, et cetera, are Muslims, and so they
- 5:43Speaker 1: are siding with the Pakistanis even if they're guilty, because
- 5:49Speaker 1: they have an agenda. It's very similar to what's happening
- 5:52Speaker 1: in America right now. We have this effort with the
- 5:55Speaker 1: Save Act that we've talked about a bunch of times,
- 5:57Speaker 1: and it looks like Thune might actually be trying to
- 6:01Speaker 1: nuke the filibuster and get rid of the zombie filibuster.
- 6:03Speaker 1: And I mean, it would be amazing if it actually happened.
- 6:06Speaker 1: But then you have people like Dick Durbin and Chuck
- 6:11Speaker 1: Schumer and Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski who are saying no,
- 6:17Speaker 1: Why are.
- 6:17Speaker 2: You saying no?
- 6:19Speaker 1: What? What part of you need to show ID to
- 6:23Speaker 1: get in? You mean literally, you need to show ID
- 6:26Speaker 1: to get into some of these assholes and their campaign
- 6:29Speaker 1: financing events. They make you sign away your life before
- 6:33Speaker 1: you go in there, but they want you to vote
- 6:36Speaker 1: in the elections without ID. I mean, it's our most
- 6:38Speaker 1: sacred rite of citizens. It's it's such common sense. And
- 6:43Speaker 1: I think that's the theme of the show tonight. Right
- 6:46Speaker 1: We're looking at things and they don't make sense anymore.
- 6:50Speaker 1: It's like one giant sigh up of bullshit where you're
- 6:54Speaker 1: trying to make heads and tails of something and then
- 6:57Speaker 1: you realize, I can't because it does work the math
- 7:01Speaker 1: at mathin as my kids would say. And so when
- 7:05Speaker 1: we're looking at people that are going up against the
- 7:07Speaker 1: Save Act and you say to them, why don't you
- 7:09Speaker 1: want the Save Act? Don't you think that people who
- 7:12Speaker 1: are coming to vote, should show ID and should say
- 7:16Speaker 1: who they are so that we can protect our voting
- 7:19Speaker 1: rights and protect and make sure we have a fair election.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Well no, because it's really hard for people to get ID.
- 7:25Speaker 1: What Okay? Well, then I guess all of you guys
- 7:28Speaker 1: are prejudiced and racist and you don't want people to
- 7:31Speaker 1: come to your campaign events because all of those things
- 7:34Speaker 1: require ID. All of the people that are going to
- 7:37Speaker 1: the bars, you know, you guys are racist against all
- 7:39Speaker 1: the other people who can't get into the bar because
- 7:41Speaker 1: they don't know how to get an ID. And all
- 7:43Speaker 1: you people who drive cars, I mean, you get what
- 7:46Speaker 1: I'm saying, Like you start to get down the slippery slope.
- 7:49Speaker 1: And I'm wondering why when people ask the question of
- 7:53Speaker 1: those individuals that are in opposition to things like the
- 7:56Speaker 1: Save Act, they don't say things like that, Well, are
- 7:59Speaker 1: you saying that people that are black? Are you saying
- 8:01Speaker 1: that women? Are you saying people that come here as
- 8:04Speaker 1: legal immigrants and go through our citizen process are unable
- 8:07Speaker 1: to get an ID? Is that what you're saying? Are
- 8:10Speaker 1: you saying they're less than us, that they can't figure
- 8:12Speaker 1: that out? I guarantee you they're not going to have
- 8:15Speaker 1: an answer, just like we don't have an answer right
- 8:17Speaker 1: now to why we're still redacting things in the Epstein files.
- 8:22Speaker 1: Why are we redacting things in the Epstein files if
- 8:26Speaker 1: we're releasing three million documents, which is I mean, the
- 8:30Speaker 1: fact that there's even that many files in there is
- 8:33Speaker 1: really shocking. And I have definitely read some things in
- 8:35Speaker 1: the past week. I know you guys have two and
- 8:38Speaker 1: I'm like, you gotta be kidding me. I mean, there
- 8:41Speaker 1: was one thing today where Epstein is going back and
- 8:44Speaker 1: forth with this guy and he actually wrote, where do
- 8:48Speaker 1: you take your victims? Not the young girls, not women,
- 8:54Speaker 1: nothing like. He didn't use any code words. He literally said,
- 8:57Speaker 1: where do you take your victims? For? And OBGYN visit?
- 9:01Speaker 1: And they were going back and forth about the obgyn
- 9:05Speaker 1: that Jeffrey Epstein used and how he used to keep
- 9:07Speaker 1: them in business. I'm like, guys, and the name of
- 9:10Speaker 1: the person, we don't know who it is. There's all
- 9:12Speaker 1: kinds of redactions. What are we redacting? Are do we
- 9:16Speaker 1: really need to protect somebody who's using the word victim?
- 9:20Speaker 2: You know they.
- 9:20Speaker 1: Released today this guy who heads up Victoria's secret. I
- 9:23Speaker 1: guess that shouldn't be a shock but he's like the
- 9:26Speaker 1: one name they released, you know, and that he was
- 9:28Speaker 1: part of it. And so all of these people are
- 9:30Speaker 1: stepping down from their positions. You know, you have the
- 9:32Speaker 1: Royal family now finally acknowledging the Prince Andrew scandal and
- 9:36Speaker 1: distancing themselves from that. You have various CEOs and people
- 9:39Speaker 1: that sit on boards as chairmen and members and such
- 9:42Speaker 1: stepping down. But no, he's going to jail. I'm like,
- 9:46Speaker 1: this is the common sense part of what's happening that
- 9:49Speaker 1: makes me go hmm. So the Department of Justice releases
- 9:53Speaker 1: all these files, but then we don't release the names
- 9:57Speaker 1: of people who we know have raped children on an
- 10:01Speaker 1: island where they were drugged and abducted and held against
- 10:04Speaker 1: their will.
- 10:06Speaker 2: This is I mean, I can't even make heads or
- 10:09Speaker 2: tails of it. It's so odd that we're still protecting them.
- 10:14Speaker 2: Even in the release, We're still protecting them. And that,
- 10:18Speaker 2: to me, is the point that we need to be raising. That,
- 10:21Speaker 2: to me, is the question we need to be asking.
- 10:24Speaker 2: What do we have to do to get the reactions.
- 10:27Speaker 2: It's kind of like when we were talking about the
- 10:30Speaker 2: slush fund in Congress and we never got the answers.
- 10:34Speaker 2: Millions of taxpayer dollars have been used to pay off
- 10:40Speaker 2: victims of sexual assault at the hands of elected members
- 10:45Speaker 2: of the House and Senate. So these people who have.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Assaulted people that either worked for them, staffers, people that
- 10:54Speaker 1: worked on the hill, whatever it is, and then they
- 10:57Speaker 1: came after these members, and instead of making it right
- 11:02Speaker 1: and coming forward and putting them in jail, they got
- 11:05Speaker 1: a payoff because they want to keep their seats. So
- 11:08Speaker 1: people that are there to enact, enforce, and legislate on
- 11:12Speaker 1: our behalf and make sure that the laws are upheld
- 11:16Speaker 1: are currently part of a payoff scheme. I would think
- 11:19Speaker 1: that anybody who knows that they're one of the people
- 11:22Speaker 1: that had to take some money from taxpayers and use
- 11:25Speaker 1: it for you know, hush money, if you will, are
- 11:29Speaker 1: probably pretty easy to sway to get people to do things,
- 11:32Speaker 1: which would definitely explain a lot of the non common
- 11:35Speaker 1: sense things we're seeing loud and clear all the time
- 11:37Speaker 1: on Capitol Hill. When you see a Republican member and
- 11:40Speaker 1: you're going, what are you doing? Why are you there?
- 11:45Speaker 1: If you want to be a Democrat, please go b one,
- 11:47Speaker 1: but get the hell out of our party. It is
- 11:50Speaker 1: so toxic to me to see people call themselves republican
- 11:55Speaker 1: and do the most Democrat type things. If you want
- 11:59Speaker 1: to be on the left side of the aisle, please
- 12:01Speaker 1: go there. We're fine, we don't mind. We would rather
- 12:04Speaker 1: be able to look ourselves in the mirror and know
- 12:07Speaker 1: that we have honest people representing us than deal with
- 12:10Speaker 1: the constant lies and the two faced ness. At least
- 12:12Speaker 1: that's how I feel. But I am really at my
- 12:16Speaker 1: end with things that just don't make sense. Whether it's
- 12:20Speaker 1: protecting pedophiles, whether it's lying about Islamophobia to cover up
- 12:25Speaker 1: Pakistani men that are raping thousands of young British white
- 12:31Speaker 1: women all over that country, or we're talking about what's
- 12:34Speaker 1: happening with the Save Act and why people would vote
- 12:37Speaker 1: against having a fair and free election that is protected
- 12:40Speaker 1: by id All these things sound so simple, and yet
- 12:45Speaker 1: we just can't get the right things done, and we
- 12:48Speaker 1: can't get the right people in the right place at
- 12:51Speaker 1: the right time to make sure that all of these
- 12:54Speaker 1: things are being done properly. So tomorrow we're going to
- 12:58Speaker 1: have part two of Peter Mind. He's going to be
- 13:01Speaker 1: on and we're going to wrap up our segment on
- 13:05Speaker 1: the rape Inquiry, which is actually wrapping up in the
- 13:07Speaker 1: UK this week and talk a little bit more about
- 13:11Speaker 1: the trial and these brave individuals who are coming forward
- 13:15Speaker 1: who have zero, zero support from Parliament, and just hear
- 13:20Speaker 1: a little bit more about what's going on there. We
- 13:22Speaker 1: hope that you will check us out at rogue Recap
- 13:24Speaker 1: at Lindamick rogue recap dot com. We've got a newsletter
- 13:28Speaker 1: now too. We'd love you to sign up for it
- 13:30Speaker 1: and we will see you here tomorrow. Everybody, have a
- 13:32Speaker 1: good night, stay safe,
