- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Benn and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with i R Radio. It's the Holidays, and on the
- 0:08Speaker 1: Almost Famous Podcast, we love celebrating the holidays. We also
- 0:12Speaker 1: love celebrating joy and everything the holidays are supposed to represent.
- 0:17Speaker 1: And this is a very special episode where my co host,
- 0:21Speaker 1: Ashley I Connettie, the One and only, the best of
- 0:24Speaker 1: the Best, is gonna lead us through some incredible holiday
- 0:28Speaker 1: interviews with some of Bachelor Nation's favorites. I'm going to
- 0:31Speaker 1: jump off because I feel like these need to be
- 0:34Speaker 1: just like one on one. Really, it's because it's my specialty.
- 0:41Speaker 1: It's a rapid fire holiday edition with our friends Kaylen
- 0:45Speaker 1: Miller Keys and Genevieve Paris. So we are We're just
- 0:51Speaker 1: gonna talk about like favorite drinks, favorite movies, favorite holiday songs,
- 0:56Speaker 1: all that stuff. It's just gonna be light and fluffy,
- 0:58Speaker 1: which is what we all need these days. Actually, I've
- 1:02Speaker 1: got some awesome holiday plans. You wanna hear him. So
- 1:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna go to Honduras, uh and visit the communities
- 1:10Speaker 1: in Honduras with my brother in law. He's never been
- 1:12Speaker 1: able to go down because he plays professional baseball and
- 1:15Speaker 1: so this time of year is the perfect time of year.
- 1:17Speaker 1: We're gonna get down to Honduras. He's gonna lead a
- 1:20Speaker 1: baseball camp for the kids. And how cool is that
- 1:23Speaker 1: it's going to be. And so my wife is going
- 1:27Speaker 1: to obviously go with us, and then um as tradition holes,
- 1:31Speaker 1: we've done it now. This will be our third year
- 1:33Speaker 1: and it's going really well and we all love it.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Jessica's family and my parents are gonna be together, all
- 1:39Speaker 1: of us in Rhanton, Honduras for Christmas. It's gonna be
- 1:44Speaker 1: absolutely so special. Uh, it's worked out really well. We
- 1:49Speaker 1: we love doing the holidays together. We don't we know
- 1:51Speaker 1: we won't be able to do it forever. We're gonna scuba.
- 1:54Speaker 1: We're gonna have fun, lay on the beach. It's gonna
- 1:57Speaker 1: be great. Do you mind having Christmas in a tropical
- 2:01Speaker 1: hot environment? No? No, I get so much snow, Like
- 2:05Speaker 1: right now there's snow in Denver, Colorado. I get so
- 2:08Speaker 1: much snow leading up to it. My wife now, she
- 2:11Speaker 1: is still she prefers like a white Christmas. But here's
- 2:15Speaker 1: the thing she doesn't get. This is the thing she's
- 2:17Speaker 1: not an understanding. She loves Christmas Day to be cold
- 2:20Speaker 1: and blizzary and white and snowy. But as soon as
- 2:24Speaker 1: that day is over, she would want to be on
- 2:25Speaker 1: a beach. And so it's like just that twenty four hours.
- 2:28Speaker 1: You want it to be Christmas Eve for all of
- 2:31Speaker 1: December and maybe until New Year's Eve. But on January one,
- 2:35Speaker 1: you're like, give me the tropics. Yeah. So we're gonna celebrate.
- 2:40Speaker 1: We're going to get our tree. Uh this weekend. Actually,
- 2:43Speaker 1: we're gonna get a tree. We're gonna decorate our house,
- 2:46Speaker 1: we're gonna play Christmas music. We're watching a Christmas movie
- 2:49Speaker 1: now every night leading up to Christmas. That's what we
- 2:51Speaker 1: do together. Um. And then uh, and then we're gonna
- 2:54Speaker 1: go to the beach. And I'm very excited for that.
- 2:57Speaker 1: Very nice. Well, I'm excited for you guys. That's really
- 2:59Speaker 1: amazing way to spreend your Christmas. All right, Ben, get
- 3:03Speaker 1: out here, it's my time to your girl chat. Let's
- 3:07Speaker 1: go bye. All right, Um, we are going to talk
- 3:13Speaker 1: to some of your Bratelination favorites about Christmas and their
- 3:16Speaker 1: traditions and their favorite movies and drinks and all that stuff.
- 3:19Speaker 1: And we're starting with part of our almost famous family
- 3:23Speaker 1: trist To Sutter and Bob Guiney are both here. They
- 3:27Speaker 1: are the hosts of almost famous um O g s
- 3:32Speaker 1: and you guys, you're doing some awesome, awesome interviews. Sometimes
- 3:37Speaker 1: I'm a little jealous of your guests. I'm like, I
- 3:40Speaker 1: get to interview so and so. You're killing it, and
- 3:44Speaker 1: thank you so much for enhancing the brand. Oh yeah,
- 3:47Speaker 1: you know, of course you're always welcome to come clost
- 3:50Speaker 1: with us. Yeah, you guys built it. We're just you know,
- 3:52Speaker 1: we're just jumping on and and and help and grow
- 3:56Speaker 1: it even bigger. We hope, right you are. It's so amazing.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Thank you so so much. Um So, yeah, if you
- 4:01Speaker 1: guys aren't familiar, I know you've probably heard podcasts before,
- 4:05Speaker 1: but just for any new listeners or inconsistent listeners, Bob
- 4:09Speaker 1: and Trista they interview like Bachelor throwbacks. Some are huge
- 4:14Speaker 1: Bachelor throwbacks, like Claire Crawley, who I think is an evergreen.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I wouldn't really call her a throwback, um but I
- 4:21Speaker 1: but then you also interview people that a lot of
- 4:23Speaker 1: people may not remember, or they may remember as soon
- 4:27Speaker 1: as you guys start talking to them, you're like, oh
- 4:29Speaker 1: my gosh, I totally that storyline is somewhere in my memory,
- 4:34Speaker 1: but I would have never thought of it until now. Anyway, Um, guys,
- 4:38Speaker 1: you you know, your friends were all friends with Chris
- 4:42Speaker 1: Harrison and he is kind of coming out of the
- 4:44Speaker 1: woodwork with a new podcast with I Heart Radio, and
- 4:50Speaker 1: you're all really really excited. Um. It was announced this
- 4:54Speaker 1: week and it is the brainchild of Amy Sugarman, who
- 4:59Speaker 1: is also you know, she's also the founder of the
- 5:02Speaker 1: almost famous franchise Now, So Chris is in good hands.
- 5:08Speaker 1: He had a teaser come out this week in which
- 5:12Speaker 1: he was talking about like, you know, it's been two years.
- 5:15Speaker 1: He's never really talked in in depth about what happened,
- 5:20Speaker 1: especially with time removed. He has not done an interview since, um,
- 5:27Speaker 1: you know, not being the host of the Bachelor. So
- 5:31Speaker 1: what what are your thoughts, what are your anxieties legal,
- 5:35Speaker 1: what's going to happen? I'm just I just know that
- 5:37Speaker 1: that first episode is going to get a million downloads.
- 5:42Speaker 1: I'll be listening watching. However, I can you know, tap
- 5:46Speaker 1: into that. I'm excited for him. You know, we got
- 5:49Speaker 1: together um out in uh at I Heeart in Vegas
- 5:53Speaker 1: and I got to hang with him just for a
- 5:55Speaker 1: little bit and at the time, you know, I didn't
- 5:57Speaker 1: know anything was was in the works. So I'm very
- 6:00Speaker 1: excited for him in that regard. And you know, I
- 6:02Speaker 1: think it's it's it's time, right. I mean, the guy
- 6:05Speaker 1: was in everybody's living room for ever and then all
- 6:08Speaker 1: of a sudden just wasn't and so it's, um, you know,
- 6:11Speaker 1: it would be nice for him to have an opportunity
- 6:13Speaker 1: to to you know, And I mean, you know, in
- 6:16Speaker 1: large part, I think a lot of it is just reflection, right,
- 6:18Speaker 1: having a little time to have some retrospect and look
- 6:21Speaker 1: back and be able to say, well, this is you know,
- 6:23Speaker 1: I could have done this, I should have done that,
- 6:25Speaker 1: or or whatever. Um. But you know, ultimately, I think,
- 6:28Speaker 1: you know, he knows that a lot of people out
- 6:30Speaker 1: there really care about him and care about what he
- 6:32Speaker 1: has to say. And I'm excited to hear. I'm definitely
- 6:35Speaker 1: excited to tune in. Yeah, me too. I feel like
- 6:38Speaker 1: there's so many couples that have come about from The
- 6:43Speaker 1: Bachelor and Bachelorette that he was a part of. He
- 6:46Speaker 1: was a big part of Ryan and I's relationship on
- 6:49Speaker 1: the show. He married so many couples, um, And so
- 6:53Speaker 1: I think that because people you know, have brought us
- 6:57Speaker 1: into their living rooms and really all in love with
- 7:01Speaker 1: our love stories that, Um, he was a big part
- 7:04Speaker 1: of that. So I know that there are so many
- 7:06Speaker 1: people who are who have been rooting for him. I
- 7:09Speaker 1: will say I I reached I've reached out to him
- 7:11Speaker 1: a couple of times, and he hasn't responded to my text.
- 7:14Speaker 1: So I'm really curious to see if he's going to
- 7:16Speaker 1: say like people that he's mad at and if I'm
- 7:19Speaker 1: going to be one of them, and if I what
- 7:21Speaker 1: did I do? Like, I want to know what I
- 7:23Speaker 1: did wrong? You know. Um, I've always been in his
- 7:26Speaker 1: corner and and I wish him nothing but the best,
- 7:30Speaker 1: including his relationship with Lauren. I love them. They're like
- 7:35Speaker 1: they're like family, you know, like all Bachelor Nation is
- 7:38Speaker 1: to me. So, um, I'm really excited for it. We're
- 7:42Speaker 1: actually going to play the teaser right now, so people
- 7:45Speaker 1: aren't even yeah yeah, wait, so I'm gonna say that again. Well,
- 7:48Speaker 1: let's actually play the teaser right now. We're ready. Audio
- 7:52Speaker 1: is good? Do you feel ready? I think, um, well, nervous.
- 7:58Speaker 1: I have not spoken publically for two years about this,
- 8:02Speaker 1: and I have a lot of thoughts and I've I
- 8:05Speaker 1: think about this every day, truly, every day of my life.
- 8:08Speaker 1: I think about this and what I want to say
- 8:10Speaker 1: and how important it is that I speak to ever
- 8:15Speaker 1: for the first time. So it's heavy. It's really heavy. Um,
- 8:22Speaker 1: we'll see how it goes. We may scrap this whole thing,
- 8:25Speaker 1: to be honest, I don't know, and I think it'll
- 8:27Speaker 1: be cathartic. I'm looking forward to getting this off my
- 8:31Speaker 1: shoulders and repairing this moving forward and letting everybody here
- 8:39Speaker 1: for me. So we're ready. Okay, let's do it. Let's
- 8:45Speaker 1: see what happens. Alright, first episode, here we go in
- 8:48Speaker 1: three two. Hello everybody, and welcome to the most dramatic
- 8:53Speaker 1: podcast ever. I'm Chris Harrison. I think it's time we talk.
- 8:57Speaker 1: All right, Well, it is gonna be juicy. You can
- 9:00Speaker 1: feel the nerves. I'm sure the first episode will all
- 9:03Speaker 1: be about the for lack of a better word, cancelation
- 9:07Speaker 1: of him, and yeah, I can't imagine a lot of emotions.
- 9:13Speaker 1: It's gonna be heavy. I feel like it's going to
- 9:15Speaker 1: be really heavy because I've never agreed with canceling someone.
- 9:19Speaker 1: And that's exactly you put it. You put it, you know,
- 9:23Speaker 1: a kneel on the head. That's exactly what happened. Yeah,
- 9:26Speaker 1: And I'm sure Trista that like you probably texted him
- 9:31Speaker 1: at times in which he just couldn't respond, do you
- 9:35Speaker 1: know what I mean. Like, I don't mean like couldn't
- 9:38Speaker 1: respond because he was in the middle of a golf game,
- 9:40Speaker 1: but I'm sure he inundated and there wasn't a lot
- 9:44Speaker 1: to say or there's like a lot of confusing emotions
- 9:47Speaker 1: and he probably just didn't, you know, go back in
- 9:50Speaker 1: his log and respond to everyone. I'm sure I'm even
- 9:54Speaker 1: someone who's who's guilty of that sometimes. And I I,
- 9:58Speaker 1: you know, I didn't have that kind of red hot
- 10:02Speaker 1: you know, spotlight at the moment like Christ, so I
- 10:04Speaker 1: can only imagine. But yeah, I'm excited for him. I'm
- 10:07Speaker 1: excited to hear the show. I'm excited that, you know,
- 10:10Speaker 1: he's gonna be uh, you know, part of our family,
- 10:13Speaker 1: our big family again, and not that he never was,
- 10:15Speaker 1: but you know what I mean, with the whole heart family.
- 10:18Speaker 1: So that's exciting. That is exciting. We'll be able to
- 10:21Speaker 1: see him maybe at I heeart festivals and stuff like this. Anyway,
- 10:25Speaker 1: this is our holiday podcast, but we had to kick
- 10:28Speaker 1: it off with that huge news. You know, when it
- 10:31Speaker 1: comes to Bachelor news, I want to talk to you
- 10:33Speaker 1: guys about it. And now we'll get into some holiday questions. Yeah,
- 10:41Speaker 1: just to get everybody in the spirit of things. We're
- 10:43Speaker 1: also going to be talking to Genevieve and Kalin about
- 10:46Speaker 1: their holiday favorites and traditions. But first the O G
- 10:49Speaker 1: s rapid fire. Are you ready? What is your favorite
- 10:53Speaker 1: holiday cocktail? Oh? I just had a holiday party. I
- 10:57Speaker 1: did a favorite party with my friends and I made
- 11:01Speaker 1: Christmas punch that was like prosecco vodka, um, cranberry juice,
- 11:07Speaker 1: pomegranate juice, orange juice, ginger ale, really good. And then
- 11:13Speaker 1: someone sent me a thing that said Christmas point or
- 11:16Speaker 1: punches are back for parties. So I was like, oh, yeah,
- 11:19Speaker 1: I'm trendy, so trendy, so on point. I'm on old
- 11:25Speaker 1: school a nug you know, spice wrung guy. So yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 1: but I will tell you you know, um, I almost
- 11:33Speaker 1: said because of my son. But you know, my son
- 11:35Speaker 1: doesn't drink egg, but my son is lactose intolerant and
- 11:41Speaker 1: so he drinks lactad milk. This is what I've been
- 11:47Speaker 1: I've been telling my agent for the past two years.
- 11:50Speaker 1: That I want an ad Lactaid because I'm such a supporter.
- 11:54Speaker 1: It got me through my pregnancy with chocolate milk. And
- 11:57Speaker 1: now I saw the grocery short that Lactad has um
- 12:00Speaker 1: eggnog amazing, trusting when I tell you to do it,
- 12:03Speaker 1: it's like it's it's honestly like all the good stuff
- 12:05Speaker 1: about egg without the kind of weird stuff about it stuff.
- 12:12Speaker 1: So it's so good, amazing. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
- 12:16Speaker 1: Do you have any? Because people have been asking me
- 12:18Speaker 1: and I've realized I don't really have anything that I
- 12:20Speaker 1: do every year consistently, and that's sad. Well, now you
- 12:24Speaker 1: will now that is there, you will for sure. It
- 12:28Speaker 1: is probably a kid thing. It for sure is, I
- 12:31Speaker 1: think so, although mine is related to um, you know,
- 12:35Speaker 1: life before kids UM. And I had been thinking about
- 12:38Speaker 1: this because I was just asking another interview what my
- 12:41Speaker 1: favorite tradition was. I honestly think one of my favorite
- 12:44Speaker 1: traditions is Christmas cards. And why I texted you today
- 12:47Speaker 1: actually to get your address, which I didn't respond yet,
- 12:50Speaker 1: but that's because I was podcasting. It's okay, I just
- 12:55Speaker 1: love connecting. I've used minted for at least ten years
- 12:58Speaker 1: We're the only way to do it. They really are
- 13:01Speaker 1: the only way to do it. And I love that.
- 13:04Speaker 1: It's the connection with people, you know, I get to
- 13:07Speaker 1: like kind of recap our year and keep them as
- 13:10Speaker 1: like keepsakes if you will, of us through the years.
- 13:14Speaker 1: So that's one of my favorites. Do you know that? Seriously,
- 13:17Speaker 1: Mommy guilt right now because I didn't do a Christmas card?
- 13:21Speaker 1: Don't don't you do it? Don't be guilty. No, And
- 13:25Speaker 1: I just didn't have time. And I'm like, do you
- 13:27Speaker 1: know what do a do? A New Year's car, a
- 13:30Speaker 1: Valentine's card? People do that all the time. That's what
- 13:33Speaker 1: we're doing. We're doing that really helps because it's a
- 13:37Speaker 1: less busy time was when everything starts to chill out.
- 13:39Speaker 1: But you might even be able to, Like what I'm
- 13:41Speaker 1: thinking we're going to do is a New Year's card.
- 13:43Speaker 1: We're going to use a picture from Christmas morning type
- 13:45Speaker 1: of thing. Yes, like you said, was Minted and shutter Flying,
- 13:49Speaker 1: all these companies, you can turn it out pretty quick.
- 13:51Speaker 1: My favorite Christmas tradition and this is a this goes
- 13:54Speaker 1: back as long as I can possibly remember. It's all
- 13:57Speaker 1: about Christmas Morning, and I just of so my family
- 14:01Speaker 1: comes down and you know, with the boys, and Grayson
- 14:03Speaker 1: did it last year and this year Blake will be
- 14:05Speaker 1: doing it with him, which is really exciting. But you know,
- 14:09Speaker 1: Santa Claus comes and it is like a kerneval. It
- 14:13Speaker 1: is bananas. There's like, you know, if something makes noise,
- 14:16Speaker 1: it's making noise, if the train's going, it's chew chewing
- 14:19Speaker 1: all that kind of good stuff. And you come down
- 14:21Speaker 1: and it's just like sensory overload madness. Santa was here
- 14:24Speaker 1: and uh, I love it and so um that's part
- 14:27Speaker 1: of my fund is actually like late night Christmas Eve
- 14:30Speaker 1: with a cup of you know, egg non pilactate. Uh
- 14:34Speaker 1: is sitting there you know, actually I you need to
- 14:37Speaker 1: uh plug this anywhere you can. Um, but literally sitting
- 14:40Speaker 1: there having a couple of contents setting up you know, uh,
- 14:43Speaker 1: all the good things out there that Santa leaves for
- 14:46Speaker 1: the boys. Because you know, Santa's busy dude, he doesn't
- 14:48Speaker 1: have time to set everything up as well as deliver it.
- 14:52Speaker 1: So once he drops it off at our house for
- 14:54Speaker 1: all the kids out there listening, I get involved and
- 14:58Speaker 1: you know, help set some of it up. So yeah,
- 15:00Speaker 1: it's it's not actually you need to. Um, there's a
- 15:05Speaker 1: couple of things that you should do with Dawston as
- 15:08Speaker 1: he gets older. Right now, it doesn't matter, but I
- 15:11Speaker 1: remember this from growing up, and we did it, um
- 15:14Speaker 1: when the kids were tiny. Um you take like footprints
- 15:18Speaker 1: out of the the fireplace and have it be like
- 15:23Speaker 1: footprints out of the fireplace. And then of course like, oh,
- 15:26Speaker 1: I have this beautiful hand painted plate that says, um,
- 15:31Speaker 1: you know something about Santa here comes Santa Claus or something.
- 15:34Speaker 1: And they always put the you know, the carrots on
- 15:37Speaker 1: in the cookies and the milk, and and you of
- 15:39Speaker 1: course are drinking that at midnight and eating the cookie
- 15:43Speaker 1: like just taking a bite out of it. But I
- 15:44Speaker 1: feel like making the magic for the kids is actually
- 15:48Speaker 1: another one of my favorite. I have really realized this
- 15:52Speaker 1: year that Christmas is for the kids, and I want
- 15:56Speaker 1: it for the kids, and I want that. I want
- 15:58Speaker 1: that to be the focus. Yeah, I know, I'm like,
- 16:01Speaker 1: I feel silly getting people like adults gifts. Now, I'm like,
- 16:04Speaker 1: do you really need it? Can I just buy more
- 16:06Speaker 1: for like a kid who needs it? I really like,
- 16:09Speaker 1: I would rather you not get me anything and please
- 16:12Speaker 1: give it to this this like this you know one
- 16:16Speaker 1: of them, the Santa, the tags you know when you're fine,
- 16:21Speaker 1: places like the kid, kid, please don't get me anything.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I don't need anything else, but like, I would love
- 16:27Speaker 1: to see the face on a kid who gets like
- 16:30Speaker 1: their dream gifts. You can adopt families here A couple
- 16:34Speaker 1: of my friends do that. They adopt a family and
- 16:36Speaker 1: then the family has like a list and I don't
- 16:39Speaker 1: know that they deliver it to the family specifically, but
- 16:41Speaker 1: that's always so sweet. I love that. Um Okay, so
- 16:45Speaker 1: I do want to say parents, get your kids, press pause,
- 16:50Speaker 1: get your kids out of the room. I do want
- 16:51Speaker 1: to say something about Santa. Okay, yeah, okay, you have
- 16:57Speaker 1: a minute, all right, all right. So this is how
- 16:59Speaker 1: my parents got me to believe in Santa, probably beyond
- 17:04Speaker 1: when I should have. So I was in fourth grade
- 17:09Speaker 1: and it's just you know, that's when the people start
- 17:11Speaker 1: talking at school, you know, you start trying to figure
- 17:14Speaker 1: things out, and you're like, I don't know because of this,
- 17:16Speaker 1: and I don't know because of that, and um so
- 17:19Speaker 1: the doubt was high, and as Elf would say, you know,
- 17:22Speaker 1: the Christmas spirit was low. Santa was like maybe the
- 17:28Speaker 1: ground And my sister and I come downstairs and this
- 17:31Speaker 1: was after like we just moved into my our new
- 17:34Speaker 1: like what at the time was our new house, but
- 17:36Speaker 1: like my family home for the pasty plus years now. Um,
- 17:41Speaker 1: and I remember it was a big deal for my
- 17:43Speaker 1: parents to buy gas logs for every fireplace. And we
- 17:46Speaker 1: have like five fireplaces in that house, and the gas
- 17:50Speaker 1: logs were like five hundred dollars per fireplace, and I
- 17:54Speaker 1: remember that making such a big deal out of how
- 17:57Speaker 1: much the logs were, and like my dad couldn't believe
- 18:00Speaker 1: that they were spending that. So then my sister and
- 18:03Speaker 1: I come down on Christmas morning and the gas logs
- 18:07Speaker 1: in the family room fireplace were broken and shattered all
- 18:11Speaker 1: over the floor and and we looked at each other
- 18:15Speaker 1: and we're like, oh, my god, Santa is real. There's
- 18:20Speaker 1: no way mom and Dad would break these logs. And
- 18:25Speaker 1: I was convinced because of that for like two more
- 18:28Speaker 1: years until my mom one day in the car was like,
- 18:31Speaker 1: you know, Santa isn't real, right, And I was like, yeah,
- 18:35Speaker 1: I mean there was the fireplace that really threw me
- 18:39Speaker 1: off for Yeah, so did they lie about the price. No.
- 18:45Speaker 1: To this day, the logs are still broken in that fireplace,
- 18:48Speaker 1: but they like broke them in a way in which
- 18:51Speaker 1: it looks like more of like a real natural log
- 18:53Speaker 1: instead of like, you know, straight across like standard gas
- 18:56Speaker 1: looking logs. So it actually enhanced the vibe. But yeah, man,
- 19:02Speaker 1: that was crafty. Yeah. My sister when she was my
- 19:07Speaker 1: sisters two and a half years older than me, same
- 19:09Speaker 1: split as my brother as my boys, by the way,
- 19:11Speaker 1: but she was like in what was she like in
- 19:14Speaker 1: I guess seventh grade and I was in like fifth grade,
- 19:18Speaker 1: and she was like, look, you gotta stop with this.
- 19:20Speaker 1: I'm like, no, I'm not stopping. And so I didn't
- 19:24Speaker 1: care if I was like, if I was anywhere with
- 19:26Speaker 1: an earshot of my family, I believe in Santita was
- 19:28Speaker 1: in like tenth grade. I think, in fact, I still do.
- 19:32Speaker 1: But if my buddies, my buddies already like dude, come on,
- 19:35Speaker 1: I'm like what seriously, I mean, it makes me feel
- 19:38Speaker 1: better Santa Claus watching, So I still, yeah, I still
- 19:41Speaker 1: do it. My wife was the other day was like,
- 19:43Speaker 1: quit learning Santa Claus over the boys. I'm like, no,
- 19:45Speaker 1: absolutely not, Santa Claus is watching. I'm watching, That's right.
- 19:48Speaker 1: How terrifying was the Naughty List and having coal when
- 19:51Speaker 1: you're stocking like every year, I would like think back
- 19:54Speaker 1: on the raisons that I would maybe need, would it
- 19:57Speaker 1: would find coal in my stocking? Do know what? I
- 20:00Speaker 1: just saw a post I think on Instagram or Facebook
- 20:02Speaker 1: that they were talking about Cole and they were like,
- 20:05Speaker 1: why did we say cool? Like the kids don't even
- 20:07Speaker 1: know what coal is? Like what is cool from the barbecue? Yes? Exactly.
- 20:15Speaker 1: My sister made a really good point when you and
- 20:17Speaker 1: I saw this actually Instagram this year. I thought she
- 20:19Speaker 1: thought of it, but she said, She's like, so Santa
- 20:21Speaker 1: Claus has a naughty and nice list and he's seeing
- 20:24Speaker 1: everything and I'm like, right, She's like, you're trying to
- 20:26Speaker 1: tell me that he didn't know that Rudolph was getting
- 20:28Speaker 1: bullied by the other rain gear and if he didn't
- 20:31Speaker 1: whine any step in, why did you do something like?
- 20:33Speaker 1: I don't know, I don't know why out in the
- 20:37Speaker 1: fourth grader's mind, that's right, Okay, for a few more
- 20:41Speaker 1: rapid fire. What is your favorite Christmas movie? Elf? Actually
- 20:49Speaker 1: it's a wonderful life for me? Then that? Yes? A right? May?
- 20:54Speaker 1: I asked a question, Ashley, because I have one. Is
- 20:57Speaker 1: die Hard a Christmas movie I've never I've never seen. Okay,
- 21:04Speaker 1: well that's your that's your this Christmas. You're watching it
- 21:08Speaker 1: this Christmas. And then we got back to us if
- 21:10Speaker 1: it's if it's actually a Christmas can you think it is?
- 21:14Speaker 1: That's kind of the same thing with songs, like I
- 21:17Speaker 1: keep hearing songs that that mentioned, like the word Christmas
- 21:21Speaker 1: is in it, but it's not. It's totally not a
- 21:23Speaker 1: Christmas song. I'm like, why is this being played right now? Um?
- 21:28Speaker 1: I would have to say it is a Christmas movie
- 21:32Speaker 1: because it is played traditionally on like the cable channels
- 21:36Speaker 1: or whatever every single Christmas. Yeah, you know, I don't
- 21:40Speaker 1: know why. I mean, I feel like he wears doesn't
- 21:42Speaker 1: he wear a Santa hat? And at one point, um,
- 21:46Speaker 1: maybe that's the only reason, but I feel like it
- 21:48Speaker 1: has become a tradition, so why not just make it
- 21:50Speaker 1: a Christmas? So I think Ken is a Christmas movie.
- 21:54Speaker 1: It needs to be more respected as as that. There's
- 21:58Speaker 1: me that's with Leo, right, and it always it takes
- 22:02Speaker 1: place at Christmas pretty much throughout always because he says,
- 22:06Speaker 1: he goes, Carl, we always need on Christmas and it's said,
- 22:10Speaker 1: yeah that there's a Christmas e Winter field throughout it. It
- 22:13Speaker 1: It was released at Christmas. I think it's an underrea
- 22:17Speaker 1: Christmas movie. And then there's The Holiday, which is probably
- 22:19Speaker 1: my favorite, a grown up Christmas movie. Got it. I'm
- 22:23Speaker 1: excited to see Spirited Um with Will Ferrell and Ryan Reynolds.
- 22:29Speaker 1: I think that's on. We were going to watch it
- 22:31Speaker 1: Apple TV. So it's pretty good. I watched it. I
- 22:34Speaker 1: liked it. Okay, good, But like the movie during Christmas,
- 22:38Speaker 1: Ken Will Ferrell do another Christmas movie, We're always going
- 22:41Speaker 1: to compare it. There is no comparison. It's totally different.
- 22:46Speaker 1: Ok Okay, that's good. That's good. Okay, alright. My last
- 22:50Speaker 1: question for you is what has been your most memorable
- 22:55Speaker 1: Christmas gift? And I asked this question having a hard
- 22:58Speaker 1: time answering it myself. So this is for you, memorable
- 23:03Speaker 1: giving or getting. Oh, you could do either. I okay,
- 23:06Speaker 1: this is gonna sound superficial, but honestly, I wear them
- 23:09Speaker 1: every single day and have for twenty years. So my
- 23:12Speaker 1: my earrings, that's superficial. Those are very special. Yeah. It
- 23:16Speaker 1: was like I had never bought diamonds for myself and
- 23:21Speaker 1: I never received them from, you know, a significant other,
- 23:25Speaker 1: and um, I had always wanted them, of course, I mean,
- 23:30Speaker 1: what girl doesn't want diamonds? And uh, he got them
- 23:33Speaker 1: for me for our first I believe it was our
- 23:35Speaker 1: first Christmas. And I literally wear them every day. You
- 23:38Speaker 1: will see them unless I have like hoops or you
- 23:41Speaker 1: know some other um like costume miss jewelry on. I
- 23:45Speaker 1: have them in when I work out in the shower. Uh,
- 23:49Speaker 1: you know, when I'm doing a podcast all day every day,
- 23:54Speaker 1: I'm always wearing them for twenty years. So that's so sentimental.
- 23:56Speaker 1: That's not materialistic at all. Okay, good, Yeah, that's nice.
- 24:01Speaker 1: But I think I got you beat. So my son
- 24:06Speaker 1: was born on December three. You know, we were living
- 24:10Speaker 1: in Seattle and we had no family around us, so
- 24:13Speaker 1: Canyan's families from California, my families from Michigan. I was
- 24:17Speaker 1: just I was just so bummed. I was super excited
- 24:20Speaker 1: to have this little baby boy. But all I could
- 24:23Speaker 1: think of was that no one was going to be there.
- 24:24Speaker 1: And then they all came in for Christmas from everywhere
- 24:28Speaker 1: and staying with us at our house, and so everyone
- 24:31Speaker 1: was there on Christmas. It gets me choked up even
- 24:33Speaker 1: thinking about it. So you know, and uh, it was
- 24:36Speaker 1: pretty amazing and then, um, you know, so that that's
- 24:39Speaker 1: what I would say would be my Christmas gifts was
- 24:41Speaker 1: that my favorite gift was that my son was born
- 24:44Speaker 1: around the holidays, which is a bummer for him because
- 24:46Speaker 1: his birthday. You know, he's gonna he's gonna struggle right
- 24:49Speaker 1: with the birthday and in present. But but it was
- 24:52Speaker 1: just so awesome that everyone was there together, and you know,
- 24:55Speaker 1: it's one of my last Christmas was with my dad
- 24:56Speaker 1: before he passed away, so it means a lot to me.
- 24:59Speaker 1: That feels like the end of a Christmas movie. Ye okay,
- 25:07Speaker 1: you definitely got me beat. You had me beat, But
- 25:13Speaker 1: I love you. I didn't I didn't mean to pull
- 25:15Speaker 1: out the Trump card like that. Now you're so good
- 25:18Speaker 1: at telling stories. Um, I can just I could talk
- 25:22Speaker 1: to you guys all day. You make this job so easy.
- 25:24Speaker 1: And I know that that's why our podcast almost same
- 25:27Speaker 1: as o GS, is doing so well. So I just
- 25:29Speaker 1: want to say thank you again for coming on for
- 25:32Speaker 1: this and for doing that, and um next up I
- 25:35Speaker 1: will have Genevieve and Kaylin talking all about their holidays, Christmas,
- 25:42Speaker 1: Christmasys by guys. I am joined by Kaylin Miller Keys
- 25:58Speaker 1: soon to be Kyle in Bell, which, by the way,
- 26:02Speaker 1: sounds amazing. It's sweet, that's so cute. Um, we talk
- 26:09Speaker 1: all about Kaylin and Dean Ungles engagement in a new
- 26:15Speaker 1: in depth episode with Kylin. We do have an old
- 26:18Speaker 1: in depth episode with Kalen, but this time she's going
- 26:21Speaker 1: to talk all about her life with Dean, including his
- 26:24Speaker 1: lost the lost engagement ring, their engagement, and um, their
- 26:29Speaker 1: wedding planning, which is already going down. But right now,
- 26:33Speaker 1: Caitlin and I are going to be talking about the
- 26:35Speaker 1: holidays because we have a wonderful sponsor in Starbucks, and
- 26:40Speaker 1: we just you know, you can't get enough of like
- 26:43Speaker 1: cozy Christmas latte's, And I'm you know, we own a
- 26:47Speaker 1: coffee shop, and yet I will definitely be finding myself
- 26:52Speaker 1: multiple times at Starbucks for a cozy little red cup. Kyln,
- 26:57Speaker 1: what is your favorite holiday drink? Oh? I love Chai latte's,
- 27:04Speaker 1: especially in the fall and winter, just like a warm
- 27:07Speaker 1: chi latte. I also am a little basic and I
- 27:10Speaker 1: love pumpkin spice altees every once in a while. Oh yeah,
- 27:12Speaker 1: for sure. Of course, I used to be obsessed with
- 27:15Speaker 1: pumpkin spice and now I'm like, okay, I like them,
- 27:18Speaker 1: but I actually like the winter ones more, not peppermint.
- 27:22Speaker 1: I'm not down with peppermint. I don't need to have
- 27:25Speaker 1: like a toothbrush taste in my mouth, you know what
- 27:27Speaker 1: I mean. But if it says like cookie butter or
- 27:31Speaker 1: anything like that, I am so down. They're so good
- 27:34Speaker 1: eggnog flavored things. What's your favorite? Yes, the eggnog um.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Then I also love a Starbucks chocolate and it's specifically
- 27:46Speaker 1: a Starbucks hot chocolate. And yes, I am still saying
- 27:48Speaker 1: this as the owner of Audrey's. There's only one Audrey's
- 27:51Speaker 1: if you're not in Rhode Island Starbucks. I wouldn't think
- 27:55Speaker 1: that we are a competitor of Starbucks. And I love
- 28:00Speaker 1: their hot chocolate. But man, you wanted some? This is
- 28:04Speaker 1: like the most Ashley thing ever. After people watch this
- 28:06Speaker 1: season of Paradise, I shouldn't be going out anywhere after
- 28:11Speaker 1: having a Starbucks hot chocolate unless it's like I have
- 28:16Speaker 1: like a yeah you know what, Starbucks, get some lactaid milk, please?
- 28:20Speaker 1: I need lactained milk with my Starbucks because almond milk
- 28:24Speaker 1: in your Starbucks, you're in your in your hot chocolate
- 28:27Speaker 1: not the same. Yeah, Yeah, what's your favorite alcoholic holiday drink. Oh,
- 28:34Speaker 1: I kind of like, I'm never whiskey person, but I
- 28:36Speaker 1: like whiskey around the holidays, just with like a cinnamon
- 28:40Speaker 1: stick in different. I don't I don't make them, but
- 28:43Speaker 1: I feel like I've had like cinnamon and maple syrup
- 28:45Speaker 1: in it. Oh, totally, that sounds so good. And like, um,
- 28:49Speaker 1: I like even fireball with apple cider with a little
- 28:53Speaker 1: cinnamon stick in it. So good. Oh, it's so good.
- 28:57Speaker 1: So we have a drink like that at Audrey's. And
- 28:59Speaker 1: then I also love an eggnog martini, which I don't
- 29:02Speaker 1: drink eggnog itself, but Jared will make an eggnog martini.
- 29:07Speaker 1: Um that just it's so good he he um. Will
- 29:10Speaker 1: put a Graham cracker crossed a Graham cracker rim on
- 29:13Speaker 1: the martini glass and just getting a little graham cracker
- 29:17Speaker 1: in your mouth with the eggnog and the vodka. It's
- 29:19Speaker 1: so good. I love eggnog alone. And surprisingly I've never
- 29:23Speaker 1: had alcoholic eggnog. You gotta check it out. So we
- 29:26Speaker 1: we we flip flopped, yeah, because I've never Yeah, I've
- 29:29Speaker 1: never had eggnog. Plane. Uh, do you guys have any
- 29:32Speaker 1: holiday traditions? You and Dean thus far Um. I was
- 29:38Speaker 1: just thinking that because I put the tree up today
- 29:40Speaker 1: and I waited to put we have a pappy tree topper?
- 29:45Speaker 1: What you do? It's the sweetest. Dean got it for
- 29:49Speaker 1: us and it's the best. So that's like our new
- 29:51Speaker 1: tradition as of last year is we put it up together,
- 29:54Speaker 1: at least just the pappy topper. Oh that's so sweet
- 29:59Speaker 1: that I think seeing that into story last year of
- 30:02Speaker 1: the topper made me cry. It's just so sweet and
- 30:06Speaker 1: I feel like it's a really nice gift for people
- 30:10Speaker 1: who whose doggies have passed to kind of put them,
- 30:13Speaker 1: like to make them one of those things and put
- 30:15Speaker 1: it as the angel on top of the tree. I
- 30:18Speaker 1: know it's the best. And he had I think he
- 30:20Speaker 1: passed like a month prior to Christmas, so it was
- 30:22Speaker 1: kind of perfect timing with the topper. How did you
- 30:26Speaker 1: find that? Somebody just sent it to um? It was
- 30:29Speaker 1: the day that we put him down. Dean was just
- 30:31Speaker 1: on Google and went on Etsy and found it. Oh
- 30:34Speaker 1: my gosh, I'm gonna go do that after this. Yeah. Well,
- 30:37Speaker 1: that's a very sweet tradition that you guys have. Did
- 30:40Speaker 1: you have any traditions growing up that you want to
- 30:42Speaker 1: pass down to possibly children one day. We didn't really
- 30:47Speaker 1: have that many traditions. We had like a train under
- 30:50Speaker 1: our tree. I don't know if I passed that on.
- 30:53Speaker 1: And it's more so like the parties leading up to it.
- 30:56Speaker 1: My mom would always have a cookie party, and she'd
- 30:58Speaker 1: have all her neighbor friends over. Everyone bring a different cookie,
- 31:00Speaker 1: and then by the time, like right before Christmas, we'd
- 31:04Speaker 1: end up with like fifty different types of cookies. That's cute.
- 31:07Speaker 1: That's really cute. Now we're just gonna do a rapid
- 31:10Speaker 1: fire of your favorite holiday everything. Okay, okay, what is
- 31:15Speaker 1: your favorite holiday song? Oh um? Oh my gosh, why
- 31:20Speaker 1: am I blanking? What's his name? The one who sings
- 31:23Speaker 1: all the great christmasas? I put on my story to
- 31:25Speaker 1: Michael by Yeah, just anything by him? Okay, So I
- 31:30Speaker 1: like that respect respect. I went through a huge Michael
- 31:33Speaker 1: Boy phase as a eighteen year old, so I was
- 31:36Speaker 1: like a senior in high school amongst so many much
- 31:40Speaker 1: older than me. At his concerts, I felt real classy,
- 31:44Speaker 1: but I was obsessed with him, and you know, definitely
- 31:47Speaker 1: had that I'm definitely going to marry Michael bill Boy
- 31:49Speaker 1: thing in my head. Um, then, what is your favorite
- 31:55Speaker 1: Christmas movie? Oh? Um, we're but I love Harry Potter
- 32:02Speaker 1: and it's not really Christmas. I could feel it. It's
- 32:06Speaker 1: got like vibes. I understand it has cozy vibes, and
- 32:09Speaker 1: most of the movies came out around Christmas. Yeah, okay,
- 32:14Speaker 1: do you know what you're getting Dean this year? No,
- 32:19Speaker 1: I don't know if we're going to do gifts. If
- 32:21Speaker 1: we do, it'll be like we'll each get each other, Um,
- 32:24Speaker 1: concert tickets. Okay, that's cool. Yeah. Usually Jared and I, well,
- 32:28Speaker 1: I go a little bit overboard because he's so fun
- 32:30Speaker 1: and so easy to shop for. I just get on
- 32:33Speaker 1: Etsy and I just ordered him a zillion things that
- 32:35Speaker 1: are like Tom Brady themed and like movie themed and
- 32:38Speaker 1: stuff like that. But for me, I don't want any
- 32:42Speaker 1: more stuff, like nothing physical, like our our house is
- 32:46Speaker 1: already like busting at the seams, you know, as far
- 32:48Speaker 1: as like stuff goes. So I'm just like no, no, no,
- 32:52Speaker 1: Like anything that's that's a memory, give that that that's
- 32:56Speaker 1: way more impactful for me. Yeah. I've also never heard
- 33:01Speaker 1: someone say that they're significant other is easy to shop for.
- 33:04Speaker 1: I feel like I would agree. It's not a very
- 33:09Speaker 1: common thing. But he has so many passions. In his
- 33:13Speaker 1: passions like just have like a lot of things made
- 33:17Speaker 1: about them. I don't know, you know what I mean,
- 33:20Speaker 1: Like when it comes to movies and sports, there's just
- 33:22Speaker 1: like a lot of like things you can buy that
- 33:25Speaker 1: are interesting and creative, especially on stuff like that's that's
- 33:28Speaker 1: so nice. Do you like to travel or stay home
- 33:31Speaker 1: for the holidays? We really want to stay home for
- 33:35Speaker 1: the holidays. I really like staying home. But we haven't
- 33:39Speaker 1: spent the holidays with my family for a while, so
- 33:41Speaker 1: we'll be traveling. Are you when to be going to Virginia? Yeah?
- 33:44Speaker 1: Oh nice? Because I know that you're really close to
- 33:46Speaker 1: your grandparents in Vegas. So will they be traveling with you? Um? No,
- 33:52Speaker 1: they'll stay back. And do you have a gift guide
- 33:56Speaker 1: for significant other presents or just like the presents for
- 34:00Speaker 1: girls of our ages? I don't. I've been thinking about
- 34:03Speaker 1: creating one. I feel like there's yeah, no, I don't know.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I was like, I think of something too quick. Maybe
- 34:09Speaker 1: an order an or ring. Those things are so hot
- 34:13Speaker 1: right now. Yeah, they're the best. I how is it
- 34:17Speaker 1: different than a I like? Um than like an apple watch? Um?
- 34:22Speaker 1: It tracks your sleep better. I think that Apple Watch
- 34:24Speaker 1: tracks your workouts better, but the aura it's more about
- 34:27Speaker 1: like your heart rate and sleep. Interesting. Okay. My final
- 34:31Speaker 1: rapid fire question for you is would you rather be
- 34:34Speaker 1: somewhere tropical during the holidays or somewhere cold and cozy?
- 34:39Speaker 1: Cold and cozy? Okay? I agree. I am down for
- 34:42Speaker 1: hot and tropical every other week or month out of
- 34:46Speaker 1: the year, but tropical is for January and beyond because
- 34:52Speaker 1: I want to like live in it in December. Yeah,
- 34:55Speaker 1: I agree. Okay, Well, Calin, I just want to thank
- 34:59Speaker 1: you again so much for coming on here. I hope
- 35:02Speaker 1: that you, Indean, have the coziest first Christmas together as
- 35:06Speaker 1: an engaged couple. To make it even cozier, you know,
- 35:09Speaker 1: I'd throw a couple of Starbucks Red cups in the
- 35:12Speaker 1: family room and have a little coziness under the Christmas
- 35:15Speaker 1: tree that you put up today, because nothing really completes
- 35:18Speaker 1: the mood than having a nice little warm drink in
- 35:22Speaker 1: your hands that is of the flavors that you only
- 35:25Speaker 1: taste this time of year. You know, it gets really
- 35:27Speaker 1: a nostalgic, So I love Starbucks for that. All right, guys,
- 35:40Speaker 1: we're back, and now we have Genevieve Parisy to talk
- 35:43Speaker 1: about holiday festivities. Jen, are you ready for this? Okay?
- 35:51Speaker 1: Do you feel that the holidays are more difficult because
- 35:55Speaker 1: you're single? Because I will say this, I felt like
- 35:59Speaker 1: in my upper twenties when I was single, all I
- 36:02Speaker 1: wanted was to live a lifetime or a Hallmark Christmas
- 36:05Speaker 1: movie or like the holiday or love actually, and I
- 36:09Speaker 1: just I felt like this was actually I felt like
- 36:12Speaker 1: this was actually a hard time of year. Yeah, I
- 36:17Speaker 1: completely agree. Being single around the holidays is it's the
- 36:22Speaker 1: worst time to be single. Be snuggly and be romantic.
- 36:26Speaker 1: I'll let you know this. It's not as romantic when
- 36:30Speaker 1: you're three years married with a kid as it looks
- 36:32Speaker 1: like in movies, but there is still, Like I'll say,
- 36:37Speaker 1: I prefer I much prefer to be married and an
- 36:41Speaker 1: experience in Christmas. Yeah, I understand. I would love that.
- 36:47Speaker 1: I would love a boyfriend anything, but it's okay. Maybe
- 36:51Speaker 1: next year, it's okay. I know every year that's like
- 36:53Speaker 1: what I wished for. I remember, like I would listen
- 36:56Speaker 1: to Britney Spears is like, what is it like? She
- 37:00Speaker 1: the song? I forget what the actual song title is,
- 37:01Speaker 1: but it's basically she wanted a boyfriend for Christmas, and
- 37:05Speaker 1: I would sing that with like all of my might
- 37:07Speaker 1: every year. That's so sweet. Yeah, it's a lonely time.
- 37:16Speaker 1: O yead, we'll find you someone soon. We're gonna find
- 37:21Speaker 1: you someone soon. You're gonna go on pariss again next year,
- 37:24Speaker 1: and it's gonna turn out happy. Come on now, yes
- 37:29Speaker 1: you will. You will be asked again. You and Jill,
- 37:33Speaker 1: you both tell me now that you're not going to
- 37:35Speaker 1: go back, and you guys will both be asked and
- 37:38Speaker 1: you'll both go back. No, Okay, fine, I don't think so.
- 37:43Speaker 1: All right, you guys mark this date, mark this recording
- 37:46Speaker 1: and like let's go listen to it back in a
- 37:49Speaker 1: couple of months. Okay, Well, moving on with our rapid fire.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Do you have any holiday traditions? Um, on Christmas Eve,
- 37:59Speaker 1: we always like my whole um Dad's side of the family,
- 38:02Speaker 1: big Italian family get together and yeah it's like, um,
- 38:07Speaker 1: my aunt comes in from d C. And I fly back,
- 38:10Speaker 1: all my cousins in California fly back home to Massachusetts
- 38:13Speaker 1: and we spend Christmas Eve together. But is that when
- 38:17Speaker 1: you meant five traditions? Yeah, of course that's a great tradition.
- 38:20Speaker 1: Do you have any others, like anything specifically a certain
- 38:23Speaker 1: movie you watch um on Christmas Eve, certain food that's
- 38:27Speaker 1: always made um um oh wow, I can't remember. Um no,
- 38:34Speaker 1: I don't think so okay, what you just always watch
- 38:37Speaker 1: like Rudolph? Actually do always rotch Rudolf? Okay? Good? Are
- 38:40Speaker 1: you a Rudolf or a Frosty person? What about Frosty? Okay?
- 38:47Speaker 1: Happy Birthday. What is your favorite Christmas movie? Um? Oh um,
- 39:01Speaker 1: come alon, I agree Home Alone is my favorite. Two.
- 39:04Speaker 1: It was up for debate whether it was Elf or
- 39:06Speaker 1: Home Alone for a while and then I've really decided
- 39:09Speaker 1: that it's Home Alone. It's just more nostalgia for me
- 39:11Speaker 1: because I've been watching it for decades and decades instead
- 39:14Speaker 1: of just you know, well, I guess the past two.
- 39:17Speaker 1: There's like childhood in it for me because I watched
- 39:20Speaker 1: I saw Home I saw Elf for the first time
- 39:22Speaker 1: as a sophomore in high school. So I still don't
- 39:25Speaker 1: have like the kid vibes, right right? Uh? What is
- 39:30Speaker 1: your favorite Christmas song or album? Oh? Okay, so I
- 39:36Speaker 1: guess I'm not a Christmas is my favorite holiday, but
- 39:38Speaker 1: I don't really listen to Christmas music. Oh, I would
- 39:41Speaker 1: say all I want for Christmas is You by Chris
- 39:43Speaker 1: Mariah care the classic Mariah song. Yep, that one. There's
- 39:47Speaker 1: really nothing, there's just there's That's just a perfect song.
- 39:52Speaker 1: You know. There's nothing that's going to make you feel
- 39:54Speaker 1: more Christmas really than that song. I'm answering these questions
- 39:59Speaker 1: as well. I guess mine has to be the instant
- 40:02Speaker 1: Christmas album as well as the Clay and Christmas album.
- 40:07Speaker 1: You must have been like so young when Clay Akan
- 40:09Speaker 1: was on American Idol. But I was a big claymate
- 40:12Speaker 1: back then. Okay, yeah, I don't think I saw him
- 40:15Speaker 1: on American Idol. What is verite holiday cocktail? Oh? Martini? Okay,
- 40:23Speaker 1: that counts for sure. I do think of that as
- 40:27Speaker 1: a Christmas you drink? Yeah, Um, I would love one
- 40:31Speaker 1: of Audrey's, um, like mint something. Yeah, we have an
- 40:36Speaker 1: egg nog martini. That's so good. Jared's actually putting up
- 40:39Speaker 1: the Christmas menu today. Oh yes, so I'll see you
- 40:43Speaker 1: down there soon. Yeah. Are those are the best drinks
- 40:48Speaker 1: of the entire year? Are the Christmas named ones we
- 40:51Speaker 1: had like the Buddy, the Elf and the one from
- 40:54Speaker 1: Christmas Vacation. So they're they're great. Um, them Okay. So
- 40:59Speaker 1: for for traveling for the holidays, do you like to
- 41:03Speaker 1: go like is it always at your parents house or
- 41:07Speaker 1: would you be down for it to be like a
- 41:09Speaker 1: travel destination Christmas? Oh no, I always wanted to be
- 41:14Speaker 1: at my parents house when I want to wake up
- 41:17Speaker 1: on Christmas morning at my parents house every year? Yeah? Yeah?
- 41:23Speaker 1: Um how about you? Oh? Always, I'd always want to
- 41:27Speaker 1: be with my family, whether that's like I guess here,
- 41:30Speaker 1: or whether it's at my parents in Virginia. It's just
- 41:33Speaker 1: be one or the other. I don't want to be
- 41:34Speaker 1: some more tropical for Christmas or like on vacation, like vacation,
- 41:39Speaker 1: you know what I mean. I completely agree. So I
- 41:43Speaker 1: guess that's my last question. Um, because the last question
- 41:47Speaker 1: was some more tropical cold and COSI okay, well, Jey,
- 41:51Speaker 1: is there anything else I'd just like to add about
- 41:53Speaker 1: this time of year? Um? Just um, find me a boyfriend. Okay.
- 42:03Speaker 1: I was gonna say, just think about your local sigle
- 42:05Speaker 1: single girl. Yeah, please just think about her. I don't
- 42:09Speaker 1: know if I shared this story, but I'm going to
- 42:12Speaker 1: do it with you because you're from like this New
- 42:15Speaker 1: England area. So Jared is like my Christmas elf he's
- 42:19Speaker 1: obsessed with all things Christmas, so before he was even
- 42:22Speaker 1: on the show, so his early twenties, he wanted to
- 42:26Speaker 1: do something Christmas e. So he found out that this
- 42:29Speaker 1: little adorable like colonial town called Wickford and Rhode Island
- 42:33Speaker 1: was going to have a tree lighting. So as a
- 42:37Speaker 1: twenty four year old, he went by himself and watched
- 42:42Speaker 1: the tree get lit with all these other little families
- 42:45Speaker 1: with a hot chocolate in his hand, and I'm like,
- 42:48Speaker 1: you are you are my homework card movie, You're my
- 42:53Speaker 1: homework bat it that for you? I love that for you.
- 43:00Speaker 1: So keep your eye out people for somebody like that
- 43:03Speaker 1: with Chutt for Chenevieve. All right, Pa, well, thank you
- 43:08Speaker 1: so much. I look forward to seeing you soon at
- 43:10Speaker 1: Audrey's with Jill and will pound some of those bloody
- 43:13Speaker 1: Dalf cocktails. Oh yeah, soon soon, Bye bye. Follow the
