- 0:41Speaker 3: You know what's so funny is I saw that you
- 0:42Speaker 3: were out late last night for a good cause and whatnot,
- 0:44Speaker 3: And I thought to myself, this, this is what I
- 0:47Speaker 3: do every night.
- 0:49Speaker 5: Well, you sent me a DM like late last night.
- 0:52Speaker 4: I think I was on my way home, or maybe
- 0:54Speaker 4: I was still at my niece's choir concert. Was She's
- 0:56Speaker 4: a senior, right, so it was the last time she's
- 0:58Speaker 4: gonna do like her.
- 0:58Speaker 5: Choir thing last night.
- 1:00Speaker 4: I got a stay till the end, of course, because
- 1:01Speaker 4: she's put on her you know, gown that she's graduating
- 1:04Speaker 4: in this weekend, and I'm just crying emotional.
- 1:06Speaker 5: It's a whole thing. And then I see you DM
- 1:08Speaker 5: me and I'm like, go to bed?
- 1:09Speaker 1: What are you doing? What I do every night?
- 1:11Speaker 5: Why?
- 1:12Speaker 3: I mean why I can't well, yeah, I mean I
- 1:14Speaker 3: can't really sleep.
- 1:15Speaker 1: So it's just I have a problem sleep.
- 1:17Speaker 3: And so sometimes like I didn't go to bed till
- 1:20Speaker 3: eleven o'clock last night.
- 1:21Speaker 5: Do you feel rested? Like, because I feel awful this morning.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I feel horrible every day.
- 1:25Speaker 4: Okay, coffee has not kicked in yet.
- 1:29Speaker 3: I don't know, but no, I'm just used to it.
- 1:31Speaker 3: I kind of feel I feel okay, I don't feel bad.
- 1:33Speaker 3: But you know when I saw you out, I'm like.
- 1:35Speaker 4: Uh oh, yeah, because you know I try to go
- 1:37Speaker 4: to bed like e eight thirty when my sons that
- 1:40Speaker 4: I try hard.
- 1:40Speaker 5: I need a lot of sleep.
- 1:42Speaker 3: I know, I know, good for you. I just don't
- 1:44Speaker 3: do that. And I've done this for a long time.
- 1:46Speaker 3: I just can't do it. I can't go to bed
- 1:47Speaker 3: at eight thirty. Oh, And no matter how hard I try,
- 1:51Speaker 3: if the sun is up, I cannot go to bed.
- 1:53Speaker 3: I guess you can nap maybe earlier in the afternoon, yeah,
- 1:55Speaker 3: which I did for like thirty minutes. So it wasn't
- 1:57Speaker 3: enough to be like, oh, I don't have to go
- 1:59Speaker 3: to bed till eleven to night. But that's true. But
- 2:01Speaker 3: at least you got to enjoy, you know, your niece's concert.
- 2:04Speaker 5: Yeah I did. It was really awesome. And I'm just
- 2:06Speaker 5: looking at these kids, like, do kids just look older?
- 2:08Speaker 5: These days?
- 2:09Speaker 4: Were kids talented when we were kids, because these kids
- 2:12Speaker 4: were doing Broadway musical things, and I'm like, you you
- 2:15Speaker 4: could literally be on Broadway. I have no idea you're
- 2:17Speaker 4: a senior, maybe you're a freshman.
- 2:19Speaker 1: I will say this school much looked much more into
- 2:23Speaker 1: their choir than.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Oh.
- 2:26Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, this was a serious program. But these
- 2:28Speaker 4: kids are incredibly.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Good, very good. Yeah.
- 2:31Speaker 3: I mean I think the kids were talented back in
- 2:33Speaker 3: our day. Yeah, but they definitely don't look the same.
- 2:37Speaker 5: Yeah, not at all.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I don't know what you got up there.
- 2:39Speaker 5: I thought, is that a teacher.
- 2:42Speaker 1: Look older?
- 2:43Speaker 3: I saw a kid actually I was playing basketball with
- 2:46Speaker 3: yesterday at the rec center who was in high school
- 2:47Speaker 3: and about to graduate. And when we were talking, I
- 2:50Speaker 3: was like, oh, you're about to graduate college. Because I'm
- 2:53Speaker 3: thinking to myself, this guy's got.
- 2:54Speaker 1: A full beard.
- 2:55Speaker 3: In high school, I couldn't grow a full beard and
- 2:58Speaker 3: he's like, no, I'm graduating high school.
- 3:00Speaker 1: And I was like, what, wow, you like high school
- 3:05Speaker 1: was huge, full beard, full time job, four O one K.
- 3:11Speaker 1: It was crazy.
- 3:12Speaker 3: I was like, oh my god, well good, I'm glad
- 3:14Speaker 3: you enjoyed that. You let us know what you need
- 3:16Speaker 3: this morning. We're gonna try to be on your good list.
- 3:19Speaker 5: I appreciate that.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Yeah, whatever Candice wants. Producer poo is here. What's up Hill?
- 3:23Speaker 6: Yesterday I had a full blown panic attack. Okay, so
- 3:26Speaker 6: I'm driving my sister's car. I go to Sam's do
- 3:30Speaker 6: the little curve side pickup and as I'm getting gas,
- 3:33Speaker 6: I look and her windshield has a crack in it
- 3:36Speaker 6: and I'm like I didn't see that there before.
- 3:38Speaker 1: So I'm like, oh man, so I'm like dreading.
- 3:42Speaker 6: I get back to her house and I was like, hey,
- 3:45Speaker 6: just let me know how much it is your windshield
- 3:48Speaker 6: got you know, it has a cracking, and she was
- 3:50Speaker 6: like another one.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Now go wait you know about this and she goes yeah.
- 3:54Speaker 6: I was like, girl, because I hate driving other people's
- 3:57Speaker 6: cars anyway, because I feel like I'm a red.
- 4:00Speaker 1: You love doing that? No, not really.
- 4:02Speaker 6: I always like I'm on guard because I'm pandied, like
- 4:05Speaker 6: somebody's gonna hit me here, something's gonna happen.
- 4:07Speaker 1: But she is a car. Huh, where's your car? My
- 4:10Speaker 1: car is at the apartment.
- 4:11Speaker 6: But when you do the curb side you have to
- 4:12Speaker 6: you know, it goes off your license plate and all
- 4:14Speaker 6: that stuff.
- 4:14Speaker 1: So I don't know that. Oh yeah on Sam's. Yeah,
- 4:18Speaker 1: they just pull in a spot. Yeah, you pull in
- 4:21Speaker 1: and it went to that spot.
- 4:22Speaker 6: It goes to her car exactly, Wow, the license plate.
- 4:25Speaker 6: But yeah, she came out, she goes. No that that
- 4:27Speaker 6: happened at my school. They're doing construction in the rocket.
- 4:31Speaker 3: If you're driving somebody else's car and the windshield that
- 4:34Speaker 3: gets cracked, are you responsible for it?
- 4:36Speaker 7: Right?
- 4:36Speaker 5: Because it's not really your fault.
- 4:37Speaker 1: There's just bad timing, right, It's just a bad situation.
- 4:40Speaker 4: You really avoid those. I've never had one until last year.
- 4:44Speaker 4: We have one on my husband's car.
- 4:46Speaker 5: My dad has one on his car. I don't know
- 4:48Speaker 5: what's going on.
- 4:49Speaker 3: There's anything I've ever wanted to take to Congress or
- 4:53Speaker 3: I don't know, pass some billy. It's that I've had
- 4:56Speaker 3: four cracked wh Yes you have last year?
- 5:01Speaker 1: Yeah? Year? What now? I'm not kidding you.
- 5:04Speaker 3: And almost all of them came from one thing, a
- 5:07Speaker 3: truck with rocks that say stay five hundred whatever yards back,
- 5:11Speaker 3: and I'm back so far, I'm not even in the
- 5:14Speaker 3: same lane. And they're like, not responsible, No, you are responsible.
- 5:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:19Speaker 3: It gets me so angry. And you try to track
- 5:21Speaker 3: these trucks down. They don't have phone numbers. They don't
- 5:25Speaker 3: want to take responsibility. Yeah, but it's like rocks are
- 5:28Speaker 3: flying out of your car, out of your truck.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Bouncing on the highway way past.
- 5:33Speaker 3: Five hundred yards exactly. Wait, we're driving fast. It's seventy
- 5:36Speaker 3: miles an hour. Four crack windshields.
- 5:38Speaker 5: Geez, yeah, so bad right now? Is all the construction
- 5:42Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Eric pointed out to be a truck without mud flaps
- 5:44Speaker 4: the other day.
- 5:45Speaker 5: It was like, stay away from.
- 5:46Speaker 1: One of those.
- 5:46Speaker 3: That's why it's illegal to not have mudflaps on cars
- 5:50Speaker 3: that are lifted and trucks that are lifted, because rocks
- 5:53Speaker 3: just fly up and hit people. And then it's like,
- 5:55Speaker 3: these windshields are getting so expensive.
- 5:57Speaker 5: Yeah, it's not your fault, poop.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Yah, I don't get out your fault. I don't think
- 6:01Speaker 1: you would have paid though at the same time. Oh
- 6:03Speaker 1: my sister, Yeah, I don't I'm gonna pay. You are
- 6:06Speaker 1: gonna pay? Yeah, yeah, she watches my kids. So I
- 6:09Speaker 1: do whatever Morgan says before.
- 6:11Speaker 4: It spreads, because my brother fixed mine before it spread.
- 6:14Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Oh I didn't even know you could do that. Yeah.
- 6:16Speaker 4: Really Yeah, they like fill it in or do whatever.
- 6:19Speaker 4: So I'm like heat gun and some I don't.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Know said they're coming over and putting some resin or whatever.
- 6:23Speaker 1: They're gonna come to. John know what I did.
- 6:25Speaker 3: I have a phone holder that attaches to the windshield.
- 6:28Speaker 3: I put it over that on the inside so I
- 6:30Speaker 3: couldn't see it. Because I feel like we're good for now.
- 6:35Speaker 3: I can't see it. It's nothing's wrong, right, classic Billie?
- 6:39Speaker 3: Move right there, morning be alling a kid? Can a
- 6:41Speaker 3: slow pants?
- 6:42Speaker 1: Is here? Producer poo is here.

- 7:42Speaker 1: I was just about to say that, Yes, I want
- 7:46Speaker 1: I was going to say.
- 7:47Speaker 5: You're on your way.
- 7:48Speaker 1: I knew it.
- 7:49Speaker 3: I was going to say electrician. That's crazy, you're a
- 7:52Speaker 3: master electrician. That's literally what I.
- 7:54Speaker 1: Wrote down.
- 7:57Speaker 7: It.
- 7:57Speaker 3: Well, you know what, good for you doing your thing
- 7:59Speaker 3: and in a predominantly man's world, you are thriving and
- 8:03Speaker 3: breaking stereotypes.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I like that. Yeah, indeed, I love what I do
- 8:07Speaker 1: for a.
- 8:07Speaker 10: Living as well.

- 8:12Speaker 8: Likewise, I like that.
- 8:13Speaker 3: I'm like, Patricia, are you ready for real and fake news?
- 8:16Speaker 3: I'm gonna give you three headlines. Gonna tell me which.
- 8:18Speaker 1: One is fake? Okay?
- 8:19Speaker 3: First headline, women arrested after living in IKEA showroom undetected
- 8:25Speaker 3: for four days. Women arrested after living in an Ikea
- 8:29Speaker 3: showroom undetected for four days. Headline number one. Headline number two.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Utah parents arrested after locking their eleven year old out
- 8:38Speaker 3: to teach them how to be homeless. Utah parents arrested
- 8:44Speaker 3: after locking their eleven year old out to teach them
- 8:47Speaker 3: how to be homeless.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Headline number three.
- 8:51Speaker 3: Seventy three year old veteran facing ten years in prison
- 8:54Speaker 3: after faking blindness for almost a decade. What seventy three
- 8:59Speaker 3: year old veterans and facing ten years in prison after
- 9:02Speaker 3: faking blindness for almost a decade. All right, three headlines
- 9:07Speaker 3: right there? You gotta tell me which one, Which one
- 9:10Speaker 3: is the fake?
- 9:11Speaker 1: Headline? Canda Slopez. You want to go first. You want
- 9:13Speaker 1: to pass to pooh.
- 9:13Speaker 5: I'm gonna pass it to la poo poo.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Okay, the poop. Which one is a fake one?
- 9:18Speaker 6: Uh, I'm gonna go with that second story, parents locking
- 9:22Speaker 6: the eleven year old. Okay, I'll to teach them about
- 9:24Speaker 6: being homeless. All right, lock me in.
- 9:26Speaker 3: Let's go locked in, Candae Slopez, which one do you
- 9:30Speaker 3: think is fake?
- 9:31Speaker 5: Ooh? Lock me in for that first story? The Ikea
- 9:34Speaker 5: story you think that's fake? Could last four days in
- 9:37Speaker 5: an Ikea, no one would notice.
- 9:39Speaker 3: I mean, I think you could hide and get away
- 9:41Speaker 3: with being undetected if you do it the right way.
- 9:43Speaker 3: Really not if you just sit in the showroom. Yeah,
- 9:46Speaker 3: but if you went up in like you know, bay
- 9:48Speaker 3: I fifty eight.
- 9:49Speaker 5: Yeah, that's true.
- 9:51Speaker 3: You'll probably sit there for a couple of days before people.
- 9:53Speaker 3: I wonder if they check thoroughly.
- 9:55Speaker 5: Surely not.
- 9:55Speaker 1: Either way, you're.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Gonna hide n Ikeea. Aren't you gonna be in one
- 9:58Speaker 4: of the cute bedrooms.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Yeah, you're gonna go sleep there. But you're gonna hide
- 10:01Speaker 3: because I'm gonna see you before it closes.
- 10:03Speaker 1: They got night stalkers. Night stalkers. Stop stock stop, you're
- 10:08Speaker 1: a night stalker. The winner today is Candice Lopez. Congratulations, Canvas,
- 10:18Speaker 1: thank you. That is the fake story about that you're right?
- 10:21Speaker 1: You're always right?
- 10:22Speaker 5: Well, I hate it.
- 10:23Speaker 3: I hate that you're always right. Yeah you are, You're
- 10:26Speaker 3: right right now. No, but that's fake story. We did
- 10:30Speaker 3: try back in the day to get Pooh to hide
- 10:33Speaker 3: in NIKEA.
- 10:36Speaker 1: It didn't go well. I think it's because Pooh's not
- 10:39Speaker 1: that hideable.
- 10:40Speaker 3: I'm not He's not very He's like he was the
- 10:44Speaker 3: kid who is probably the worst at hide and seek,
- 10:47Speaker 3: you know what I mean.
- 10:47Speaker 1: He just doesn't hide. Well. I don't know what it
- 10:50Speaker 1: is about him. He's loud.
- 10:52Speaker 3: We see you behind the curtains, we see yes, Like
- 10:55Speaker 3: I'm like, I remember we're doing the back of the Day.
- 10:57Speaker 1: Yeah exactly.
- 10:58Speaker 3: I was like, hey, go hide in one of the bays,
- 11:00Speaker 3: and he's like, okay, doll and then he goes and
- 11:03Speaker 3: then I'm like, oh oh man, and I'm like what
- 11:06Speaker 3: it was ten minutes and he already got busted.
- 11:09Speaker 5: And what was your excuse when they're like, sir, we're closed.
- 11:12Speaker 1: Oh he told them. Yeah. I just told him. We're
- 11:14Speaker 1: on the radio seeing if I can stay the night here.
- 11:18Speaker 1: Yeah I didn't.
- 11:20Speaker 3: I'm like, no, you can't do that. So we didn't
- 11:22Speaker 3: even make it. One day geez, one day in there
- 11:25Speaker 3: either way. Yeah, but he didn't I tried to get
- 11:27Speaker 3: him to go up to the second story of the shelves,
- 11:30Speaker 3: but he couldn't get up there.
- 11:31Speaker 4: Well, no, they're really high, they are, Candice, They're not
- 11:34Speaker 4: that high.
- 11:35Speaker 1: They are, and they sell letters I like kiya okay ladder.
- 11:39Speaker 1: So he tried to hide behind one of the like
- 11:42Speaker 1: first row things by the cashier, by the billy boxes.
- 11:47Speaker 5: That's a good shelf, all right.
- 11:49Speaker 3: Utah parents arrested after locking their eleven year old out
- 11:51Speaker 3: to teach him how to be homeless. This happened, yet
- 11:54Speaker 3: they were arrested. They were basically saying that they left
- 11:58Speaker 3: this eleven year old kid in an unh unheeded garage
- 12:02Speaker 3: is punishment, telling officers they were teaching the child how
- 12:04Speaker 3: to figure things out on their own. Alicia and Robert
- 12:08Speaker 3: McIntosh both face aggravated child abuse and they're being held
- 12:12Speaker 3: without bail. Police first got involved when the neighbors said,
- 12:15Speaker 3: I don't know what's going on over there, but I
- 12:16Speaker 3: haven't seen the kids, so they did welfare check and
- 12:19Speaker 3: they officers found the child in the garage, crawling out
- 12:22Speaker 3: from under a truck bed cover with a thin blanket
- 12:25Speaker 3: and a bucket with a trash bag liner. And a
- 12:28Speaker 3: toilet seat, standing in standing in for a bathroom.
- 12:32Speaker 5: Oh wow, I.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Mean sometimes you got to do that with kids. No,
- 12:39Speaker 3: you don't, you don't want to build resilience.
- 12:41Speaker 5: Well we could do it some other way.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Okay, fine, all right, Well they're in jail either way.
- 12:45Speaker 1: All right. Another story. This is just kind of a
- 12:47Speaker 1: crazy story.
- 12:48Speaker 3: It's a seventy three year old veteran facing ten years
- 12:50Speaker 3: in prison after faking blindness for almost a decade. Yeah,
- 12:56Speaker 3: I guess he collected over almost three hundred thousand dollars
- 12:59Speaker 3: in VA benefits and because of this disability, Jerry Smith
- 13:04Speaker 3: pleaded guilty to falsely claim and he was blind to
- 13:07Speaker 3: receive disability payments. That investigators thought something was off, so
- 13:11Speaker 3: they went to look because you could just you know,
- 13:13Speaker 3: they investigate stuff like this.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Are you ready to see what they found out.
- 13:16Speaker 3: He would come into the office with a stick, you know,
- 13:20Speaker 3: a visual aid stick.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Or whatever they're called.
- 13:23Speaker 3: Sorry if I'm saying that wrong, but you know he
- 13:25Speaker 3: would come in he would be one hundred percent blind.
- 13:29Speaker 3: They found him at a gun range as a fire instructor. No,
- 13:41Speaker 3: wait a minute, First of all, I saw him driving there.
- 13:44Speaker 5: They're like, okay, math doesn't math.
- 13:47Speaker 3: Then they said, wait a minute, you're teaching firearms. Then
- 13:51Speaker 3: he was like, but I'm teaching it for the blind.
- 13:54Speaker 3: What But they didn't believe that.
- 13:57Speaker 5: Okay, so there you go. Try.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Good try, Jerry, Good Try. It's like a third story
- 14:04Speaker 3: we've heard from someone trying to fake being blind.
- 14:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:07Speaker 3: My favorite was the guy who pretended he was mute
- 14:09Speaker 3: because for ten years so he could avoid small talk.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Yeah, good morning.
- 14:15Speaker 3: It's Baible a kid Candice Loan pants producer Pooh. Now
- 14:18Speaker 3: I'm big on this, and I know Pooh thinks it's ridiculous,
- 14:21Speaker 3: but I'm huge and I do truly think that back
- 14:24Speaker 3: in the day, I manifested this job.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Okay, and I'm a big believer in manifestation.
- 14:30Speaker 5: I think I manifested this job too.
- 14:33Speaker 3: Yeah you say that, Yeah, No, I really do think that.
- 14:36Speaker 3: Even before this job, like my entire career. When I
- 14:39Speaker 3: was fifteen, I read this book about manifesting things, and
- 14:42Speaker 3: I truly think it worked. I started manifesting stuff and
- 14:46Speaker 3: look at Pooh's smiling.
- 14:47Speaker 1: I'm just listening to.
- 14:49Speaker 3: It, and I truly think that you can do this
- 14:52Speaker 3: with certain techniques. Now, this new thing came out though,
- 14:55Speaker 3: that tells you what exactly you need to do if
- 14:58Speaker 3: you want to manifest something in your life.
- 15:00Speaker 4: Okay, and I mean aside from my career path and whatever.
- 15:03Speaker 4: I bought a laptop when I didn't have work, and
- 15:05Speaker 4: I was like, I'm gonna manifest work through this laptop.
- 15:09Speaker 1: What we did, yeah, and then we got this job.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Yeah okay. See, so yeah, I believe that, yeah, because
- 15:15Speaker 1: one of the things they tell you to do when
- 15:16Speaker 1: you manifest something is to pretend that you're already doing it. Yeah,
- 15:19Speaker 1: to just wake up and do it even if you're
- 15:20Speaker 1: not doing it. Pretend. So when I was fifteen and
- 15:23Speaker 1: I knew I wanted to do this for a living,
- 15:25Speaker 1: and I knew I wanted my own radio show and
- 15:27Speaker 1: I wanted to DJ and all that stuff, I just
- 15:29Speaker 1: started doing it.
- 15:29Speaker 3: Like, I just started pretending that I was doing it.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Oh yeah, same even if I wasn't. I was like
- 15:34Speaker 3: practicing and doing things, and I just that's what I did.
- 15:36Speaker 3: You couldn't tell me any different, right.
- 15:38Speaker 4: I anchored the news behind my coffee table, did the
- 15:41Speaker 4: radio show that only my brother could hear in the
- 15:43Speaker 4: next room.
- 15:44Speaker 3: One hundred percent same thing. And I think it worked
- 15:47Speaker 3: because by the time I was eighteen, I was on
- 15:48Speaker 3: the air wow and had a show and whatnot, right,
- 15:52Speaker 3: and I've been doing it ever since. So I do
- 15:53Speaker 3: think it works. Now, this stuff, this set is a
- 15:56Speaker 3: little bit new to me. I didn't do all this.
- 15:58Speaker 3: They're saying, if you want to manifest stuff, that this
- 16:00Speaker 3: is what you got to do. Should we figure it out?
- 16:02Speaker 3: I need something like, I don't know, call me music
- 16:04Speaker 3: or something we need to manifest.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I don't even know. Is this manifesting music? It's fine,
- 16:10Speaker 1: it's going to have to work. Is this manifesting music?
- 16:20Speaker 1: Manifest that? Let me just go this right now.
- 16:25Speaker 3: So here's some of the things they say you can
- 16:26Speaker 3: do if you want to manifest something in your life.
- 16:29Speaker 3: You have to visualize it, which we all kind of
- 16:31Speaker 3: know that visualize it. You have to write gratitude gratitude
- 16:35Speaker 3: notes in a journal, which I believe in journally and
- 16:38Speaker 3: I do that.
- 16:40Speaker 1: This is where it gets a little weird.
- 16:42Speaker 3: They say, burn a bay leaf as you manifest, releasing
- 16:47Speaker 3: any limiting beliefs or tensions you may have.
- 16:51Speaker 1: So we got to get some bay leaves.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Sage on there too. That's the that's the cleanse bad spirits.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Bayleaf not to release any limiting beliefs. Okay, I like this, Like,
- 17:03Speaker 3: what what is something we could manifest today? Start manifesting.
- 17:05Speaker 4: I mean to manifest some breakfast tacos right now.
- 17:08Speaker 1: Okay, all right, keep that in mind.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Then as we do this okay, and we'll see if
- 17:13Speaker 3: they show up by ten am, if they say use
- 17:16Speaker 3: the scripting method by writing down the call or writing
- 17:19Speaker 3: down basically what you want to happen. Okay, so script
- 17:23Speaker 3: you know exactly this is where how it's gonna go down.
- 17:25Speaker 3: We're gonna get the breakfast tacos. Someone's gonna show up
- 17:27Speaker 3: in the lobby. Yeah, you know this is and then
- 17:29Speaker 3: I'm gonna eat it. I'm gonna put hot sauce off.
- 17:31Speaker 3: You want to get very detailed on it. Then it says,
- 17:35Speaker 3: write down what you want to happen and place it
- 17:37Speaker 3: under a candle.
- 17:38Speaker 1: We have a candle. No, we don't have any candles here.
- 17:40Speaker 5: Wow, there goes our I have a birthday candle.
- 17:43Speaker 3: Perfect, we'll do that. It says, do the three by
- 17:46Speaker 3: thirty three ritual. Have you ever done this?
- 17:48Speaker 5: What's that?
- 17:49Speaker 3: So you basically write an affirmation that aligns with what
- 17:52Speaker 3: you want thirty three times for three straight days.
- 17:57Speaker 1: WHOA, so you write it down?
- 17:59Speaker 3: I want breakfast soccos thirty three times for three straight days. Yeah,
- 18:05Speaker 3: maybe we picked the wrong thing.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 18:07Speaker 1: It also says shift out of fear with positive self touch.
- 18:12Speaker 1: What I don't think we can do that in public.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Then it says the last thing you should do, and
- 18:19Speaker 1: this is where I got really confused, take a charged bath,
- 18:23Speaker 1: a charged bath, or a or enoughing shower?
- 18:27Speaker 5: Nothing shower?
- 18:29Speaker 1: What it's a charge bath? This subcanis?
- 18:32Speaker 3: Okay, what's a charge back? It's gotta be like crystals
- 18:35Speaker 3: or something.
- 18:35Speaker 5: Yeah, I would that's what I would assume.
- 18:37Speaker 4: Okay, energy infused soak, salt and crystals.
- 18:41Speaker 1: We gotta go to world springs.
- 18:42Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that's.
- 18:44Speaker 1: What we do. You don't believe in this pool? No,
- 18:45Speaker 1: not talking about EPSOM salt.
- 18:47Speaker 3: No, I'm talking about crystals and you know, spiritual stuff.
- 18:50Speaker 6: So you're saying I can manifest having a sugar maml.
- 18:54Speaker 1: Yeah probably, you know I believe it.
- 18:56Speaker 6: And just write it down thirty three times in the
- 18:58Speaker 6: next three days, I'm gonna have sugar momo.
- 19:00Speaker 3: You did it wrong. You're already messed it up. You
- 19:02Speaker 3: got to write it down for three straight days thirty
- 19:04Speaker 3: three times. Thro got thirty three.
- 19:06Speaker 1: By thirty three and then I'll have.
- 19:07Speaker 4: A sugar mom and believe you got to take your
- 19:09Speaker 4: nothing shower?
- 19:10Speaker 1: Did you take a enoughing shower? No? I just take
- 19:12Speaker 1: a regular shower of what's enoughing shower?
- 19:14Speaker 5: I don't like this.
- 19:15Speaker 4: You stand under the hot water with no soap, shampoo.
- 19:17Speaker 5: Or like, you know, scrubbing.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Well, that's what he does anywhere.
- 19:23Speaker 2: It's Texas Top Stories on the Tents with Billy the
- 19:25Speaker 2: Kid in the.
- 19:26Speaker 7: Morning only on the new Mix one O two point nine.
- 19:29Speaker 3: We got a dirty little secret coming up at seven thirty.
- 19:31Speaker 3: Get ready for that. Texas Top Stories right now, Canni
- 19:34Speaker 3: slow Pez, What is going on well?
- 19:35Speaker 4: A new report says Texas public schools are seeing the
- 19:38Speaker 4: first non pandemic enrollment decline.
- 19:40Speaker 5: In about forty years.
- 19:42Speaker 4: So this is a historic drop of over seventy six
- 19:45Speaker 4: one thousand students. This report says it represents a one
- 19:48Speaker 4: point four percent decrease from last year, but that there
- 19:51Speaker 4: were a few places that had growth at Dallas and
- 19:54Speaker 4: Richardson were on that list, but four or it saw
- 19:56Speaker 4: a notable decline, with the biggest drop coming from elementary schools.
- 20:01Speaker 4: They say but this drop is driven by lower birth
- 20:04Speaker 4: rates and more people going to alternative education options like
- 20:07Speaker 4: private schools or homeschooling.
- 20:10Speaker 5: But yeah, that's kind of a.
- 20:11Speaker 4: Historic announcement as far as you know, education in Texas goes.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Yeah, people aren't having kids. Well guess what, it's expensive.
- 20:17Speaker 5: It is expensive. Yeah.
- 20:18Speaker 4: So well, while the high schools have a lot of
- 20:20Speaker 4: plenty of kids, elementary schools are just slowly declining. Yeah,
- 20:24Speaker 4: which it makes sense. It's all catching up to us
- 20:26Speaker 4: from the pandemic. And you know, just how yeah, like
- 20:29Speaker 4: you said, expensive things.
- 20:30Speaker 3: Are yeah, I mean yet, right, you got to motivate
- 20:32Speaker 3: some countries need to motivate people to have kids.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I love countries have to limit them kids.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Oh no, people want people have more kids here. But
- 20:41Speaker 5: it's tough. It's really tough. Every day.
- 20:43Speaker 4: I think I see in my feed some story about
- 20:45Speaker 4: homeschooling and how cool it is, and it makes you wonder.
- 20:48Speaker 4: But I love our teachers in our school that my
- 20:50Speaker 4: son goes to so much, so I can't imagine, you know,
- 20:52Speaker 4: leaving that. But yeah, teacher appreciation was last week.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Yeah, well, appreciate your teachers schools almost I can't believe
- 20:59Speaker 3: it's almost over.
- 21:00Speaker 5: I know. Next Thursday is our last day.
- 21:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:02Speaker 3: Yeah, a lot of school districts, it's the same thing,
- 21:04Speaker 3: and they need that little break though, for sure.
- 21:06Speaker 5: For sure.
- 21:07Speaker 4: Well, guys, the Cowboys announced their season opener yesterday. They're
- 21:10Speaker 4: going to take on the New York Giants in New
- 21:13Speaker 4: York on September thirteenth. They also revealed who they're going
- 21:16Speaker 4: to play on Thanksgiving Day, and that will be the Eagles.
- 21:19Speaker 5: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 21:21Speaker 4: I think the NFL is going to release the full
- 21:23Speaker 4: schedule coming up on Thursday, but this is just a
- 21:26Speaker 4: little teaser, which these are the two big games we
- 21:28Speaker 4: really care about at this point.
- 21:30Speaker 3: Trying to get excited, but I don't for whatever reason,
- 21:33Speaker 3: after this last season.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel like I lost.
- 21:36Speaker 3: A little like I don't know, I'm always a Cowboys fan,
- 21:40Speaker 3: but I'm just like, can we But there's a lot
- 21:42Speaker 3: of things to be excited about this season.
- 21:44Speaker 1: Yeah, we did some good draft picks.
- 21:46Speaker 4: We did Okay, we did, I can't remember.
- 21:48Speaker 3: I think we're in a good place. And you know
- 21:50Speaker 3: what I'm saying, let me snap out of it. I'm sorry.
- 21:52Speaker 1: This is our year. It is our year.
- 21:54Speaker 5: I mean, it's kind of.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Like when you're pregnant, you forget like how rough it is,
- 21:57Speaker 4: and then you're like, I guess I'll do it again.
- 22:00Speaker 5: You know this is our year? Yeah, real quick, guys.
- 22:04Speaker 4: A TV show based on the New York Times game
- 22:07Speaker 4: Wordle is coming.
- 22:08Speaker 5: This is going to be a half hour long.
- 22:10Speaker 4: Cash prize show co produced by The New York Times
- 22:13Speaker 4: and Jimmy Fallon. So this is the game that was
- 22:16Speaker 4: super popular online. Were you guys into it? I think
- 22:18Speaker 4: it came out in like twenty twenty one. No, everyone
- 22:22Speaker 4: was going to New York Times dot com.
- 22:24Speaker 5: To play this game.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I know what you're talking. I think my mom plays it.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Okay, So you basically get six chances to guess a
- 22:30Speaker 4: five letter word. Eric and I used to play this
- 22:33Speaker 4: I guess when we were in lockdown or whatever.
- 22:35Speaker 5: You call it.
- 22:36Speaker 4: Yeah, and he would beat me every time and I'd
- 22:38Speaker 4: just be so over it. Maybe it's just like our
- 22:40Speaker 4: friend group when we lived in California that everyone was
- 22:43Speaker 4: playing this game.
- 22:45Speaker 5: You probably played it turns.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Super f it's crazy over there.
- 22:50Speaker 5: Yeah played Wordle?
- 22:52Speaker 1: No, No, oh my gosh.
- 22:53Speaker 5: This was like all the rage that's you know it's coming.
- 22:56Speaker 5: It's been in the works.
- 22:57Speaker 4: This TV show for two and a half years and
- 22:59Speaker 4: Savannah got three just an now she's actually gonna host it.
- 23:02Speaker 7: Oh.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Some people are actually hating on her for this. Why
- 23:04Speaker 3: And I thought that was ridiculous. Some people are like,
- 23:07Speaker 3: you know, I mean, you're worried about your career right
- 23:09Speaker 3: now when you can't find your mother?
- 23:11Speaker 1: What is going on? What's And I'm like, you know,
- 23:15Speaker 1: this is sad because you can't stop living your life, right.
- 23:19Speaker 4: They don't expect one person to be searching the earth,
- 23:23Speaker 4: you know, twenty four to seven. At some point, you know,
- 23:25Speaker 4: you have to let the professionals, you know, do their job.
- 23:28Speaker 1: What is she supposed to not live anymore? She's supposed to.
- 23:31Speaker 3: But you see the comments online of people going, you're
- 23:33Speaker 3: worried about this. I can't believe you're worried about that,
- 23:35Speaker 3: be worried about your mom?
- 23:36Speaker 4: Well, I mean this was supposed to start filming back
- 23:39Speaker 4: in March, but they pushed it obviously because you know,
- 23:42Speaker 4: of the situation with her mom, which we have no
- 23:44Speaker 4: updates on.
- 23:45Speaker 5: It's just sad for her.
- 23:47Speaker 4: But you know, work is also a distraction and you
- 23:49Speaker 4: have to pay your.
- 23:49Speaker 5: Bills, right.
- 23:50Speaker 3: I saw the other day though, that one of the
- 23:52Speaker 3: sheriffs at the wherever department they're at said that they
- 23:55Speaker 3: did they were very close to having some details, more
- 24:00Speaker 3: tells and some answers about her disappearance, and I thought, well,
- 24:04Speaker 3: then do it.
- 24:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I don't think they're closer though, Yeah, I don't know.
- 24:08Speaker 5: I'll keep you posted for sure, though, you guys, get
- 24:10Speaker 5: on word a. Though it's fun, it's challenging.
- 24:12Speaker 1: I'm not good at that kind of stuff. My eighty
- 24:14Speaker 1: D kicks in and I'm just like, wait, what was
- 24:16Speaker 1: I doing?
- 24:16Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 24:17Speaker 4: For sure, all right, I'm Kandaslopez. Those are your Texas
- 24:19Speaker 4: top stories.
- 24:21Speaker 7: Get it off your chest to promise you'll feel better.
- 24:24Speaker 7: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret.
- 24:26Speaker 1: The sun is out, it's beautiful.
- 24:28Speaker 3: It's could be like eighty three today, a perfect day
- 24:30Speaker 3: that's not too bad, and then tomorrow high around ninety.
- 24:33Speaker 3: They're saying it's not going to rain now until like
- 24:35Speaker 3: next Monday. So we're good because the weekend at first
- 24:37Speaker 3: look bad, but it looks like it's gonna be okay.
- 24:39Speaker 1: It's mixed.
- 24:39Speaker 3: One on two point nine A Bailly Kid Canda Slow
- 24:41Speaker 3: Pads producer, Pooh, it is Tuesday.
- 24:43Speaker 1: We got money coming up.
- 24:44Speaker 3: At eight forty if you want that one thousand dollars
- 24:47Speaker 3: eight forty your first shot, and when then we do
- 24:49Speaker 3: it on the forties every hour.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Now, if you have a secret, okay, this is what
- 24:52Speaker 1: we do, you can confess to us.
- 24:54Speaker 3: It's a non judgment zone eight three three seven eight seven,
- 24:58Speaker 3: one oh two nine, It doesn't matter what it is.
- 25:00Speaker 1: And you have one. What's up? Oh?
- 25:03Speaker 7: Man?
- 25:03Speaker 8: I feel bad even calling because technically this was not
- 25:07Speaker 8: my business, but it is bothering me so.
- 25:11Speaker 9: Much I cannot stop thinking about it.
- 25:13Speaker 1: What what's up?
- 25:14Speaker 8: I have this coworker and we're really friendly at work,
- 25:17Speaker 8: but she acts like we're best friends, which we are
- 25:19Speaker 8: absolutely not. And lately she's been like calling out of
- 25:24Speaker 8: work a ton, showing up late, leaving early, all that stuff.
- 25:29Speaker 8: Then one day I overheard my boss saying something about
- 25:31Speaker 8: how she's trying to like be understanding because my coworker
- 25:35Speaker 8: is dealing with morning sickness, and I'm like, wait, what, Oh,
- 25:40Speaker 8: she's pregnant.
- 25:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:42Speaker 8: Well, later that day she like pulls me aside and
- 25:48Speaker 8: tells me and she's laughing that she's not actually pregnant.
- 25:52Speaker 9: You guys, what, Oh.
- 25:54Speaker 1: Come on, she's not pregnant she's not.
- 25:57Speaker 8: She just told our boss that she was because she
- 25:59Speaker 8: needed an excuse for always being late.
- 26:02Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I hate this so much.
- 26:06Speaker 9: I hate it too. She like she just like figured,
- 26:09Speaker 9: nobody questions a pregnant woman.
- 26:11Speaker 3: That's all right, what's gonna happen in nine months or
- 26:15Speaker 3: you know, seven months?
- 26:16Speaker 1: Well, I don't know, you know, however long. She's like,
- 26:18Speaker 1: obviously there's no good.
- 26:19Speaker 5: Energy to keep this going exactly.
- 26:22Speaker 9: I was speechless.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't blame you. I would not like this either.
- 26:26Speaker 4: So I'm sick one thing, I had a death in
- 26:28Speaker 4: the family.
- 26:29Speaker 5: People use that, but I'm pregnant. I know.
- 26:32Speaker 8: It gross even more because like people have, you know,
- 26:36Speaker 8: struggle for years to have babies. They like women lose babies,
- 26:40Speaker 8: And she's just like using it as a fake sick
- 26:43Speaker 8: day pass.
- 26:44Speaker 9: Like just it's so disgusting. It made me look at
- 26:46Speaker 9: her completely differently.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I would too.
- 26:49Speaker 3: This would make me look at somebody differently. I'd be like,
- 26:51Speaker 3: this is I'd almost have to say something, But like
- 26:54Speaker 3: you said, I know it's not technically your business, but
- 26:56Speaker 3: at the same time, I just it's gross to lie about.
- 27:00Speaker 5: Yeah, it's so gross awful.
- 27:02Speaker 8: And like you were saying like she hasn't thought it through,
- 27:04Speaker 8: Like how do you end a freake pregnancy?
- 27:07Speaker 1: You know that's it. She's unfortunately probably.
- 27:09Speaker 5: Going to say that fake the end of the pregnancy,
- 27:11Speaker 5: fake the.
- 27:12Speaker 1: End of it too, and you know that's not going
- 27:13Speaker 1: to be grow.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Okay, she'll probably take a couple of days off for
- 27:16Speaker 4: that too.
- 27:17Speaker 3: That now, that would enrage, Yeah, that would rage horrible.
- 27:21Speaker 1: That's I don't even want to think about that. I
- 27:23Speaker 1: don't like that at all.
- 27:24Speaker 8: So I know, so like my dilemma is like I
- 27:27Speaker 8: want to part of me wants to tell my boss
- 27:29Speaker 8: because it's so gross. But then I'm like, do I
- 27:32Speaker 8: really want to get involved in this like back storm?
- 27:34Speaker 1: I don't know, do you?
- 27:35Speaker 3: That's a good question, like is this something like I'm
- 27:38Speaker 3: trying to think, like we have to watch these videos
- 27:40Speaker 3: sometimes of work, like if somebody's doing something.
- 27:43Speaker 1: Right, compliance, would you, yeah, compliance, would you say something,
- 27:46Speaker 1: see something, say something?
- 27:48Speaker 5: But in this.
- 27:49Speaker 4: Case, unless her like work is affecting the team or
- 27:52Speaker 4: tanking the company or like our goals together, I don't.
- 27:56Speaker 5: Know if you could say anything.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Technically she is stealing company time and money though if
- 28:00Speaker 3: she's lying about But then again, how do you do it.
- 28:04Speaker 3: I don't know if if she told you this, if
- 28:06Speaker 3: she just told you this, it could be just hearsay.
- 28:08Speaker 1: You know.
- 28:09Speaker 4: Yeah, if you're the only one she told, then she's
- 28:11Speaker 4: gonna know you're the one that rated her out.
- 28:13Speaker 3: I don't know if I would say anything. I think
- 28:15Speaker 3: this kind of karma comes full circle on its own.
- 28:17Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm a great I don't know.
- 28:20Speaker 6: You know, if you tell her that they got to
- 28:23Speaker 6: get HR involved the whole big well, that's who you
- 28:26Speaker 6: would tell, is HR?
- 28:27Speaker 1: I guess right, Yeah, I don't know.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't tell anything. I avoid HR at all costs.
- 28:34Speaker 3: Even when I see him in the hallway, I keep
- 28:37Speaker 3: my head down like they won't notice me.
- 28:41Speaker 9: Right, Yeah, I think I might stay out of it.
- 28:43Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Well, I'm sorry. I'm sorry that you got to deal
- 28:46Speaker 1: with that.
- 28:46Speaker 3: That is that is awful, And I would yeah, I wouldn't.
- 28:48Speaker 3: It feels icky. I wouldn't want to be around it
- 28:50Speaker 3: at all. But she'll get hers, I don't know. Some way,
- 28:53Speaker 3: somehow this stuff comes around. I truly believe that. And
- 28:57Speaker 3: you know it won't be It won't be good for her.
- 28:59Speaker 9: No, it's not going to be good.
- 29:01Speaker 3: No, not at all, hold on or maybe I'm wrong,
- 29:04Speaker 3: Maybe you do say something. Yeah, I don't know how
- 29:07Speaker 3: you say it, but maybe this is one thing to
- 29:10Speaker 3: me is just so when people lie about being pregnant, just.
- 29:12Speaker 5: Yeah, that's low.
- 29:13Speaker 3: It's low. Do you say something. I wonder how many
- 29:16Speaker 3: people would say so. I know, Candice, you probably wouldn't.
- 29:18Speaker 2: No.
- 29:18Speaker 4: I let it play out because I know she's got
- 29:20Speaker 4: hers coming.
- 29:21Speaker 1: I know Pooh wouldn't seen way worse. In the workplace,
- 29:25Speaker 1: I just try to stay out of my mom.
- 29:26Speaker 3: But as anybody ever, have you ever because I've never
- 29:30Speaker 3: snitched on anybody at work, I don't think I've ever
- 29:32Speaker 3: went to the boss and said, hey, just to let
- 29:34Speaker 3: you know they're doing this. I don't think one time
- 29:36Speaker 3: in my life at any job, I've ever had.
- 29:39Speaker 5: No say no.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I couldn't really. Yeah, now that surprises me.
- 29:45Speaker 4: I mean unless it was something like you know, they're
- 29:47Speaker 4: breaking the law. It's like really hurting someone like this
- 29:50Speaker 4: woman's not necessarily hurting anybody, right but herself in the end.
- 29:54Speaker 3: Yeah, I see, out of all three of us, I
- 29:56Speaker 3: think there would be you would definitely be the snitchiest.
- 30:00Speaker 1: I stay out of.
- 30:00Speaker 5: People's business, though you know, I don't.
- 30:03Speaker 4: I am too nervous to get involved in people's drama,
- 30:05Speaker 4: so do I Yeah, I mean what.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Is that supposed to mean? I don't stay out of
- 30:12Speaker 1: people's business.
- 30:13Speaker 5: You kind of do, but but you're aware.
- 30:15Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh no, I'm an instigator.
- 30:18Speaker 5: Yeah, he loves that's a good point.
- 30:20Speaker 1: Yeah, missus feeler's out there. Yeah.
- 30:24Speaker 4: I like stirring the pot where people confess on themselves.
- 30:27Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, that is true.
- 30:31Speaker 2: He's doing for Candace Court and gets settled here with
- 30:35Speaker 2: Billy the Kid in the Morning.
- 30:37Speaker 1: Rise for the Honorable Judge Candace Lopez.
- 30:39Speaker 3: Here she is the Mesquite Mama seed of the Kale Queen,
- 30:43Speaker 3: the Brussels Sprouts Battie.
- 30:45Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I don't know like that.
- 30:47Speaker 3: She's all organic and here she is on the bench.
- 30:49Speaker 3: It makes one or two point nine. If you got
- 30:51Speaker 3: something you want Candas to solve at Candace on Air,
- 30:54Speaker 3: at Candace on Air on Instagram, you hit her up
- 30:56Speaker 3: and this is a good one.
- 30:57Speaker 1: Are you ready, Candace?
- 30:58Speaker 5: Yep.
- 30:58Speaker 1: So it's a mother in law daughter in law drama.
- 31:01Speaker 3: My daughter in law has been married to my son
- 31:03Speaker 3: for a few years and she has a side gig
- 31:05Speaker 3: of making art. She gives a lot of it away.
- 31:08Speaker 3: I'm not a huge fan of her art style.
- 31:10Speaker 5: Oh.
- 31:11Speaker 3: I am much more of a nature person than someone
- 31:13Speaker 3: who wants scenes with people. Also, when she paints people,
- 31:16Speaker 3: they are stylized. My daughter in law gave me a
- 31:19Speaker 3: painting of someone's sitting on the beach because she knows
- 31:22Speaker 3: we like the beach.
- 31:23Speaker 1: I don't like it.
- 31:25Speaker 3: The women. The women in the painting look off. Their
- 31:31Speaker 3: legs are too long, and she's too curvy. I know
- 31:35Speaker 3: it's her style of painting, but I just don't like it.
- 31:37Speaker 3: I'm sorry. At the time I got the gift, I
- 31:39Speaker 3: thanked her for it, and I thought that'd be the
- 31:41Speaker 3: end of it. I put the painting in the garage
- 31:43Speaker 3: and I forgot about it. I bought an ocean painting
- 31:46Speaker 3: for the living room of our new house. My daughter
- 31:49Speaker 3: in law visited the other day because she wanted to
- 31:51Speaker 3: pick up some Memorial Day decorations. Oh who has those?
- 31:55Speaker 3: We were in the garage and she saw her painting there.
- 32:00Speaker 3: She was surprised and asked why it wasn't in the house.
- 32:02Speaker 3: I told her I didn't have a spot to put it.
- 32:04Speaker 3: She kept pressing me, and I mentioned I got a
- 32:07Speaker 3: new painting for our living room. I told her again
- 32:09Speaker 3: that I don't have a spot for it.
- 32:12Speaker 1: She then picked up the painting and said she would
- 32:14Speaker 1: help me find a spot. So finally I told her no.
- 32:20Speaker 3: She asked why not, and I decided, you know what,
- 32:22Speaker 3: I just got to be honest and I said, I
- 32:24Speaker 3: am not a fan of your art work. She got
- 32:30Speaker 3: quiet after that, and I gave her her decorations.
- 32:33Speaker 1: She left.
- 32:34Speaker 3: I got a call from my son and he was mad.
- 32:37Speaker 3: He told me I needed to apologize and hang up
- 32:39Speaker 3: her painting. That's his wife and she's been crying and
- 32:44Speaker 3: it took her hours and hours to make it.
- 32:46Speaker 1: I told her.
- 32:47Speaker 3: I told him I'm not hanging it up, and that
- 32:50Speaker 3: resulted in argument. I'm sorry, but I feel like she
- 32:52Speaker 3: is in the wrong. Stop being so pushy about your art.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Am I crazy?
- 32:57Speaker 1: Here?
- 32:58Speaker 3: Canna Lopez, Welcome to Cannie. And I like this one
- 33:01Speaker 3: because I do a lot of art, Yeah, especially lately.
- 33:04Speaker 3: I mean, I give it away too.
- 33:05Speaker 5: You gave me an r piece yesterday.
- 33:07Speaker 1: I did. It was so thoughtful and you're definitely not
- 33:09Speaker 1: gonna hang it out.
- 33:10Speaker 5: No, I am for sure.
- 33:11Speaker 1: I'm kidding. It's fine.
- 33:12Speaker 3: Yeah, but I'm glad you like it. Yeah, either way,
- 33:15Speaker 3: what do you think about this?
- 33:16Speaker 5: I just don't think.
- 33:17Speaker 4: It's fair to press her on this and let me
- 33:19Speaker 4: help you find a spot for it. That's a little pushy.
- 33:23Speaker 5: Like, I get it your feelings might be hurt, but like,
- 33:27Speaker 5: art is a risk, right, you have to create.
- 33:29Speaker 4: An emotional response from the person who's receiving it or
- 33:32Speaker 4: looking at it. And that clearly didn't happen here.
- 33:35Speaker 1: It didn't.
- 33:36Speaker 3: But I mean, at the end of the day, I
- 33:37Speaker 3: don't think this is about art. Yeah, I think mother
- 33:40Speaker 3: in law, for whatever reason, just doesn't like daughter in law.
- 33:44Speaker 1: I don't think it has anything to do with the art.
- 33:46Speaker 3: You can tell by the way she's speaking, she just
- 33:48Speaker 3: doesn't like. Like, if you look at somebody's art, I
- 33:50Speaker 3: might not be really into it, but I can respect it.
- 33:53Speaker 5: Yeah, right, for sure.
- 33:55Speaker 3: The way she's just talking about the art, it sounds
- 33:57Speaker 3: like she's just diminishing it, demeaning it, which leads me
- 34:00Speaker 3: to believe there's more to it than just this piece
- 34:02Speaker 3: of art.
- 34:02Speaker 4: Okay, I mean, yeah, saying that the people look off.
- 34:07Speaker 6: Yeah, but it's it's her house. Yeah, can't be expecting
- 34:10Speaker 6: prime real estate in my house?
- 34:12Speaker 1: You know it's funny that you're not you're not taking
- 34:13Speaker 1: disagree with that. Yeah, I know, I know.
- 34:16Speaker 3: But here's my thoughts is, if you really truly love someone,
- 34:20Speaker 3: you might hang it up. He might not do it
- 34:23Speaker 3: in the living room. I might not do that in
- 34:25Speaker 3: our new house. To me, I wouldn't do the living room,
- 34:28Speaker 3: I'll be honest, right. But to me, the compromise might
- 34:30Speaker 3: be like the back.
- 34:31Speaker 1: Hallway okay, okay, you know, and I'd hang it up.
- 34:33Speaker 3: There and I'm like, hey, this looks so good here,
- 34:35Speaker 3: and I'd really, I don't know, I have a big heart.
- 34:37Speaker 3: You two are ruthless. I'd probably hang it up in
- 34:41Speaker 3: a guest bedroom or something. I'd be like, look it
- 34:43Speaker 3: works there.
- 34:44Speaker 5: Who cares?
- 34:45Speaker 3: Yeah, it's my daughter and lost my son. I don't
- 34:47Speaker 3: want to hur her feelings. I'd probably do it. I
- 34:48Speaker 3: gotta be honest. I do it, Yeah, because I like
- 34:51Speaker 3: art too, and I like I know people put a
- 34:53Speaker 3: lot into it.
- 34:54Speaker 4: I can see me just putting it somewhere just because
- 34:57Speaker 4: in the new house. Like you, you're dreaming about your
- 35:00Speaker 4: new house for so long, and this is.
- 35:01Speaker 5: Gonna go there, and that's gonna go there.
- 35:02Speaker 4: Aesthetic like it's all clean and exactly how we want
- 35:05Speaker 4: it to have people with long legs on.
- 35:07Speaker 5: The beach, yeah, and curvy.
- 35:12Speaker 1: Let me ask you this second.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Do you put you know, Enzo's Do you put like
- 35:17Speaker 3: kids artwork on your fridge?
- 35:18Speaker 1: Yes?
- 35:19Speaker 5: I have Enzo's artwork framed.
- 35:21Speaker 4: I'm actually working on a big modgepodge project of all
- 35:24Speaker 4: of his art.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Let me ask you this. Do you care about the aesthetic?
- 35:28Speaker 8: Uh?
- 35:28Speaker 5: Yeah, actually I do. But I've figured out.
- 35:31Speaker 4: How to take some of his paintings and frame them
- 35:33Speaker 4: like in a gallery wall where they look.
- 35:35Speaker 3: You're making the best out of it. But like when
- 35:37Speaker 3: my son was a kid, he's fifteen now, he used
- 35:40Speaker 3: to draw and put pictures on the fridge, right, and
- 35:42Speaker 3: they were awful.
- 35:44Speaker 5: No, you know what?
- 35:46Speaker 1: Why did his hair? Why did his fire truck look
- 35:49Speaker 1: like a hairy foot?
- 35:50Speaker 4: I have Enzo's first painting that he ever did and
- 35:54Speaker 4: brought home from preschool. And it's literally just pink paint
- 35:57Speaker 4: on a thing and that's it.
- 35:58Speaker 5: And it just scribbles.
- 35:59Speaker 4: And I put it in a and I was like,
- 36:00Speaker 4: that was his first art that he brought home.
- 36:03Speaker 5: That's beautiful.
- 36:04Speaker 1: It has meaning behind.
- 36:05Speaker 3: Yeah, you got a seed for the meaning and not
- 36:07Speaker 3: just the curvy off legs and weird looking women.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Right, that's my point. But it doesn't matter stylized, as
- 36:15Speaker 1: she says.
- 36:15Speaker 3: I get people art all the time, Yeah, and I
- 36:18Speaker 3: but I don't. I will say this, I don't expect
- 36:21Speaker 3: anything out of it.
- 36:22Speaker 4: See exactly like I got into art when we lived
- 36:25Speaker 4: up in Vancouver, when I wasn't working. I took a
- 36:27Speaker 4: painting class and all this stuff, and I got really
- 36:29Speaker 4: into it. And my mother in law came over and
- 36:31Speaker 4: saw my first painting and.
- 36:32Speaker 5: Like she wanted it. But it's still not done.
- 36:34Speaker 4: I didn't finish it, and I don't want to give
- 36:36Speaker 4: it to her when it's not done.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Did you give it to her?
- 36:40Speaker 5: Not yet, it's not. It's still not done.
- 36:42Speaker 1: We're talking years.
- 36:43Speaker 5: Yeah, it's just been in.
- 36:44Speaker 4: The closet with my art supplies because I just haven't
- 36:47Speaker 4: had time or like desire to do it lately. But
- 36:51Speaker 4: she says, take your time, no worries.
- 36:55Speaker 1: I mean, I have artwork from Billy hanging up, and
- 36:57Speaker 1: then I have we wouldn't know because we've never been
- 36:59Speaker 1: to your apartment. Make sure that Enzo what drew me
- 37:01Speaker 1: and I put it on my frigerator. Wait a minute.
- 37:03Speaker 1: That's right. What artwork did I give you the Marilyn
- 37:06Speaker 1: Moreau you did? I did?
- 37:08Speaker 4: Yeah, Yeah, I have your artwork in my folder that
- 37:11Speaker 4: you draw when I give you a drawing challenge.
- 37:13Speaker 1: And your folder.
- 37:16Speaker 4: That's like just fun on another fridge studio, sketchy.
- 37:21Speaker 1: We have a verdict.
- 37:22Speaker 4: Yeah, look, I think this daughter laws guilty of being
- 37:25Speaker 4: a masterpiece.
- 37:26Speaker 5: Mandy. If it's a.
- 37:29Speaker 4: Masterpiece to you, it might not be a masterpiece of
- 37:32Speaker 4: And that's just the risk you take when you're an artist. Okay,
- 37:34Speaker 4: you'll find a home for your art because someone out
- 37:37Speaker 4: there will love the stylized people on the beach. Okay,
- 37:40Speaker 4: she is guilty of masterpiece, Mandy.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Tough Stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid in the.
- 37:47Speaker 7: Morning only on the new mixed one or two point.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Nine sing to me sorry I got lost time, I
- 37:54Speaker 3: lost track of time and everything.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Yeah when that song comes off, okay, thank you.
- 37:57Speaker 3: We got money coming up eight forty if you want
- 37:59Speaker 3: that day, it's going to be a thousand air one
- 38:01Speaker 3: thousand dollars a lot of money. Oh yeah, that'll fill
- 38:03Speaker 3: your tank up like at least three times.
- 38:05Speaker 1: Yeah right about now. Okay, get your money.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Eight to forty your first shot to win that we
- 38:09Speaker 3: do have a forties all day, Candae Lopez.
- 38:11Speaker 1: What is going on?
- 38:11Speaker 4: Well, the Red Oak City Council approved a new eight
- 38:14Speaker 4: hundred acre data center last night. This meeting went until
- 38:18Speaker 4: almost midnight after public comment from residents finally finished up.
- 38:22Speaker 4: Multiple people said they only found out about this proposal
- 38:25Speaker 4: within the last two weeks, after some property owners were
- 38:28Speaker 4: approached about selling their land. Others say they found out
- 38:31Speaker 4: through Facebook posts. But inside this meeting, residents voiced their
- 38:35Speaker 4: concerns over transparency, noise, traffic, air pollution, water usage. Say,
- 38:41Speaker 4: you know, our property values have declined rapidly since the
- 38:45Speaker 4: other five data centers and Red Oak opened, and there's
- 38:49Speaker 4: you know, some of them are still in development, but
- 38:51Speaker 4: they already have Google there.
- 38:52Speaker 7: You know.
- 38:52Speaker 4: They're saying this project would have a closed loop cooling
- 38:56Speaker 4: system that uses a lot less water and wouldn't connect
- 38:58Speaker 4: to the public water system. But I just feel so
- 39:01Speaker 4: bad for people who have lived there for decades, you know,
- 39:03Speaker 4: and are just like these data centers popping up all.
- 39:05Speaker 3: Around us and the values of their homes going down,
- 39:08Speaker 3: and the light pollution, which I didn't realize was a
- 39:10Speaker 3: real thing until I saw some woman who was complaining
- 39:14Speaker 3: that because she lives close to a data center. Yeah,
- 39:16Speaker 3: the lights are so bright that I mean you she
- 39:19Speaker 3: couldn't even she couldn't even sleep, she said, because it
- 39:23Speaker 3: was so bad.
- 39:23Speaker 1: She would walk outside and it felt like daylight.
- 39:25Speaker 3: Right, and then her water pressure was real low because
- 39:28Speaker 3: it was taking up so much of the water.
- 39:30Speaker 1: She couldn't even take a shower. It was really weird.
- 39:32Speaker 5: Yeah, that's unfortunate. Yeah, I mean they also say, you.
- 39:35Speaker 4: Know, infrastructure improvements would help fire protection, which could.
- 39:38Speaker 5: Reduce insurance costs.
- 39:39Speaker 4: But add that to the you know, low frequency hum
- 39:42Speaker 4: and you know the property values and all the things.
- 39:44Speaker 5: I just I would hate to have that pop up.
- 39:46Speaker 1: Well, Cannis doesn't like that kind of stuff. You think.
- 39:48Speaker 3: It's like you're very organic. Yeah, when it comes to everything,
- 39:52Speaker 3: everything you eat, everything you put on your stea.
- 39:53Speaker 5: I mean I tried, which is good to be low talks.
- 39:56Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, you she said, crunchy, little crunchy.
- 40:01Speaker 1: What does that mean.
- 40:02Speaker 5: Well, it's just like, you know, you're into organic things, and.
- 40:04Speaker 1: Like that's what they call themselves, crunching crunchy moms. Yeah,
- 40:07Speaker 1: I'm a crunchy mom. Yeah, I'm a soggy dad, guys.
- 40:14Speaker 4: Three dozen pilots were hired to basically repo jets, at
- 40:18Speaker 4: least by Spirit Airlines.
- 40:20Speaker 1: I know, I saw this story. This story is awesome.
- 40:24Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:24Speaker 4: This company who does this is called Nomadic Aviation Groups.
- 40:27Speaker 4: So some of these pilots once worked for Spirit, so
- 40:30Speaker 4: they know these planes pretty well.
- 40:31Speaker 5: But they've been going to airports where Spirit.
- 40:33Speaker 4: Was operating, like Charlotte, Houston and Columbus, Ohio. Because you know,
- 40:37Speaker 4: some of these planes are still parked at the gates
- 40:40Speaker 4: from their last flights.
- 40:41Speaker 3: They got on them, drinks on them, they got everything
- 40:43Speaker 3: on them, ready to go for a flight, but they
- 40:45Speaker 3: just didn't take off because Spirit just closed the doors. Yeah,
- 40:49Speaker 3: even if you were at the just think about that.
- 40:51Speaker 3: You're at the gate and they're like, yeah, we're out
- 40:52Speaker 3: of business. By the way, see you tomorrow.
- 40:54Speaker 1: I can't never Yeah see you never. You're just like, well,
- 40:57Speaker 1: what do I do? Don't care? Bye?
- 41:00Speaker 5: It's awful.
- 41:01Speaker 4: Side note American Airlines saying they expect a record breaking
- 41:04Speaker 4: summer travel season, even with fuel prices on the rise.
- 41:08Speaker 4: They say they think they'll have over seventy five million customers,
- 41:11Speaker 4: beating their previous summer travel record from twenty nineteen. And
- 41:14Speaker 4: I thought everyone was sitting out this summer.
- 41:16Speaker 1: Me too, but no.
- 41:17Speaker 4: The most travel day is expected to be Friday, May
- 41:20Speaker 4: twenty second, leading up to Memorial Day. Yeah, so just
- 41:23Speaker 4: a heads up, guys, real quick. This is the list
- 41:27Speaker 4: you didn't know you needed. Just to lighten things up.
- 41:29Speaker 5: For a second. If you want your there you go
- 41:31Speaker 5: your list music. This new study.
- 41:33Speaker 4: Analyze Google trends data to find the most searched cereals
- 41:37Speaker 4: by state. Yes, Americans in this research period bought almost
- 41:41Speaker 4: two point five billion boxes of cereal. Do you want
- 41:45Speaker 4: to guess or tell me what your favorite is?
- 41:46Speaker 1: Well, you're gonna go with what top.
- 41:48Speaker 5: I'll give you the top five if you want.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I'll try to guess number one. Let's try to guess
- 41:51Speaker 1: number one.
- 41:51Speaker 3: Okay, I mean number one, the most the best cereal.
- 41:57Speaker 5: I love cereals.
- 41:58Speaker 6: To me, it's got to be fruity pebble, it's got
- 42:00Speaker 6: to be fruit loops.
- 42:03Speaker 3: It does not about what I like, okay, It's about
- 42:06Speaker 3: what's the most popular in each state.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 42:09Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, Well number five was Honey Bunches of Oats.
- 42:13Speaker 5: Super good.
- 42:14Speaker 4: Yeah, low Ki, super good.
- 42:16Speaker 1: That's to you. Honey bunches of oats is like sweet.
- 42:19Speaker 5: Yeah, it is, for sure.
- 42:21Speaker 1: This is sweet because you usually just eat like dirt cereal.
- 42:24Speaker 5: Yeah, well it looks like dirt kind of. It was
- 42:26Speaker 5: like fiber sticks.
- 42:27Speaker 1: And sheep's milks and all this weird stuff.
- 42:31Speaker 4: I used to love kicks, but I would put a
- 42:33Speaker 4: pound of sugar on it back in the day where
- 42:35Speaker 4: you just scoop that sugar with your spoon.
- 42:37Speaker 1: At the end and drink that milk. Yeah, okay.
- 42:40Speaker 5: Number four with cinnamon toast crunch.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Oh fire.
- 42:45Speaker 5: Number three was tricks. I love tricks.
- 42:48Speaker 4: Okay, yeah, really, I'm just okay, just yeah, it's not
- 42:52Speaker 4: my thing.
- 42:52Speaker 1: They're fine.
- 42:53Speaker 4: I think they outdo number two, which was a tie
- 42:56Speaker 4: for rice crispies and cheerios.
- 42:57Speaker 1: Oh honey nut ceerios.
- 43:00Speaker 3: Yeah, honeynut, honey nuts, ceerio regular rice crispies.
- 43:04Speaker 1: You gotta put you gotta put so much sugar in these.
- 43:06Speaker 5: Something bananas in there or something. Yeah. Number one on
- 43:10Speaker 5: the list, guys, Billy, you were correct. It is fruit loop.
- 43:14Speaker 4: Yeah, number one in thirteen states, including Texas, So you
- 43:18Speaker 4: can't go wrong.
- 43:19Speaker 3: Like your all time favorite cereal cannice, what would it
- 43:21Speaker 3: be oh.
- 43:21Speaker 5: Man, that's tough.
- 43:22Speaker 4: I love fruity pebbles, though, Captain crunch.
- 43:26Speaker 1: Ooh berries, the berry berries. Yeahs awberries.
- 43:32Speaker 5: That's a good one.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Your favorite cereal of all time pebbles. Fruity pepels is
- 43:36Speaker 1: so down.
- 43:37Speaker 5: Yeah, but you can't.
- 43:38Speaker 1: You don't eat it now, do you know?
- 43:39Speaker 3: I know I still do every once in a while
- 43:41Speaker 3: because I know, I know it's not good, but my
- 43:42Speaker 3: son loves it, so I'll be like, Okay, fine, let's
- 43:44Speaker 3: eat some.
- 43:45Speaker 1: But I know there's all red there's reddy in there.
- 43:48Speaker 1: I know number forty and fifty. You can't have fun.
- 43:51Speaker 5: I'm gonna crunchy mom.
- 43:53Speaker 1: I eat crunchy kale.
- 43:55Speaker 5: Trust me.
- 43:56Speaker 1: I love fruity pebbles, I know, and so have some kale.
- 44:00Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, Cannoslopez, those are your Texas hof stories.
- 44:07Speaker 9: Oh that's a hot take.
- 44:08Speaker 7: Let us know what you think.
- 44:09Speaker 3: Here's today's hot take mix one or two point nine
- 44:12Speaker 3: A bill at a kid can of Slopez producer Pooh
- 44:14Speaker 3: Hot take of the day. I saw this, I thought
- 44:16Speaker 3: this is very interesting because you know, you can get
- 44:19Speaker 3: into parenting debates all day. Yeah, but I feel like
- 44:22Speaker 3: things have definitely changed since we were kids.
- 44:25Speaker 1: I mean as an elder millennial.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Yeah, and pooh you as a boomer. Oh, your parenting
- 44:31Speaker 3: might have been a little bit different back in the day.
- 44:34Speaker 3: But you know, and I don't like to parent shame
- 44:36Speaker 3: or parent judge or whatever. But this woman's going viral
- 44:40Speaker 3: for what she's saying. She tells her kids they don't
- 44:43Speaker 3: have to do Are you ready?
- 44:45Speaker 11: Yeah, listen, I never ever will make my kids share
- 44:49Speaker 11: their stuff that they brought with another child. Number one,
- 44:52Speaker 11: you should have brought your own. Number two, that's their toy.
- 44:55Speaker 11: They don't have to share with you.
- 44:57Speaker 1: What she tells her, you don't have to share. You
- 45:02Speaker 1: do not have to share. Stop with the sharing. Listen.
- 45:05Speaker 11: Number three, You don't have to do something just because
- 45:08Speaker 11: somebody asks. I think, especially for women, that is like
- 45:11Speaker 11: really important to learn. Now, if my kids want to share, yeah, sure,
- 45:15Speaker 11: go along for it. Now, if you're coming over to
- 45:17Speaker 11: our house to play for a play date, that's very different, right,
- 45:19Speaker 11: because we're welcoming them then into our space. Okay, But
- 45:23Speaker 11: if we're out and about, my kid doesn't want to
- 45:25Speaker 11: share her doll with your kid, she doesn't have to.
- 45:28Speaker 3: I'm so interested when people think about this because we too.
- 45:31Speaker 3: I always wonder, you know, we just do things sometimes
- 45:34Speaker 3: because that's what we think we should do, right, you know,
- 45:37Speaker 3: that's what we were told to do.
- 45:38Speaker 1: That's what we just do it.
- 45:39Speaker 3: And and I understand her point of saying, well, we
- 45:43Speaker 3: shouldn't just you know, especially with young women, to them
- 45:46Speaker 3: that if they're told to do something, they should do it. No,
- 45:49Speaker 3: But at this age, I know what she's referring to, right,
- 45:53Speaker 3: But it's like two different things to me.
- 45:55Speaker 4: Yeah, it's hard because I have one child and teaching
- 45:57Speaker 4: him to share, Like sometimes we have to share with him,
- 46:00Speaker 4: you know what I mean, like my turn take turns
- 46:03Speaker 4: as parents because he doesn't learn sharing, you know, at home.
- 46:06Speaker 4: If we don't, you know, he's learning at school. And
- 46:08Speaker 4: I understand the balance of trying to make sure we
- 46:10Speaker 4: don't develop, you know, a people pleaser too, because I
- 46:12Speaker 4: feel like I'm recovering people pleaser and so you know,
- 46:17Speaker 4: I'm trying to not create that in my son, but
- 46:20Speaker 4: also raising to be a great human being.
- 46:22Speaker 3: Yeah, with the big heart. Yeah, I don't think I
- 46:24Speaker 3: could ever tell my kids don't share. Yeah, I don't
- 46:26Speaker 3: think I would say because she's stilling her kids, No,
- 46:29Speaker 3: don't share. To me, I'm like, well, I might see
- 46:31Speaker 3: in certain situations. Yeah, yeah, that's okay, you know if
- 46:35Speaker 3: you don't want to. But I would be very specific
- 46:38Speaker 3: about it. I don't know if i'd just be like,
- 46:39Speaker 3: don't share, right, you don't have to share, but to.
- 46:41Speaker 5: Say you should have brought your own.
- 46:45Speaker 1: Energy, that's what I thought. I would tell my kids
- 46:48Speaker 1: to do that.
- 46:48Speaker 6: But I remember telling my fourteen and thirteen year old
- 46:51Speaker 6: when they were little, like, take your own toys to
- 46:54Speaker 6: the playground or whatever. Yeah, that way they didn't have
- 46:57Speaker 6: to be let down because some kids are standy the
- 46:59Speaker 6: other kids it's mine.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Yeah, they don't want to share, so it's like bring
- 47:04Speaker 1: your own.
- 47:04Speaker 10: That's a learning lesson in itself. Bring your own toys
- 47:07Speaker 10: so you don't have to worry about that. And if
- 47:09Speaker 10: they don't share, whatever, you don't have to share with nobody.
- 47:12Speaker 10: You have your own toy and you ain't crying about it.
- 47:15Speaker 4: You Lenenza would have his monster trucks at the playground
- 47:17Speaker 4: or whatever, and there was a kid with nothing that
- 47:19Speaker 4: was kind of looking at him.
- 47:20Speaker 5: I would always say, ask him if he wants to
- 47:22Speaker 5: play with.
- 47:22Speaker 3: It, give him a turn, because you're a good mom. Yeah,
- 47:24Speaker 3: And I think that's what a good mom would do.
- 47:26Speaker 3: I don't think a good mom would be like, I'm
- 47:28Speaker 3: sorry that kid doesn't have his toys.
- 47:29Speaker 1: That's tough. Luck, go play with the dirt kid, Okay.
- 47:33Speaker 4: I mean as an adult, we got to share stuff too,
- 47:35Speaker 4: So how are we gonna get ready to share the
- 47:37Speaker 4: road and share the workspace?
- 47:39Speaker 1: And that's my point.
- 47:40Speaker 3: And then she's like, well, basically to that kid at
- 47:43Speaker 3: the playground, if you know your kid at a truck
- 47:45Speaker 3: and another kid didn't, and the kid is looking, she.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Would say, if you don't want to share, too bad.
- 47:50Speaker 5: It should have brought your own.
- 47:51Speaker 3: You should have brought your own. Even if the kids
- 47:54Speaker 3: crying whatever. My kid doesn't have to share.
- 47:56Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean they're little.
- 47:58Speaker 1: It's going on.
- 47:59Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, I think if we teach kindness in
- 48:01Speaker 5: any way, we can't lose, you know.
- 48:03Speaker 3: And then as you get older, you start to dissect it,
- 48:06Speaker 3: and then you teach them things within that. Hey, there's
- 48:08Speaker 3: certain things you share and there's certain things you don't
- 48:10Speaker 3: have to share. Yeah, just because someone tells you something.
- 48:13Speaker 3: But at this age, it's like, just teach the basics, Yeah,
- 48:17Speaker 3: then you can get a little deeper into it. As
- 48:19Speaker 3: they get older. Like another thing they're telling now that
- 48:21Speaker 3: you should never tell your kids. This is another thing
- 48:23Speaker 3: they said, practice, practice makes perfect.
- 48:26Speaker 1: You shouldn't They say, never say that to a kid.
- 48:28Speaker 3: I saw a parenting experts say never say that to
- 48:31Speaker 3: a kid, because there's no such thing as perfect.
- 48:34Speaker 5: OKAYI there is, well, no.
- 48:37Speaker 1: But there might not be. But at the same time,
- 48:40Speaker 1: don't take.
- 48:40Speaker 4: It so literally, right exactly, it's.
- 48:42Speaker 1: Just if you practice something, you're gonna get good at it.
- 48:44Speaker 3: Right now, we're over analyze everything in our world to
- 48:48Speaker 3: where we can't say anything, we can't do anything.
- 48:50Speaker 4: That's why it's so hard to be a parent in
- 48:51Speaker 4: twenty twenty six, because.
- 48:52Speaker 5: Everything we do is wrong.
- 48:54Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, there's two sides to every parenting strategy.
- 48:58Speaker 4: And I don't know if we're winning or not, but I, oh,
- 49:00Speaker 4: I've got a great human that's seven years old at home,
- 49:02Speaker 4: and he treats people well, he does, and that's the
- 49:05Speaker 4: wind for me.
- 49:06Speaker 3: And then that is the correct thing. And every kid's differently.
- 49:09Speaker 3: But you're right, you got a great kid because you're
- 49:12Speaker 3: telling him. If there's a kid without a toy, maybe
- 49:13Speaker 3: should go play with him.
- 49:14Speaker 5: Yeah, maybe be nice exactly.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Not get your own toys. Stupid poor little kid.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Oh good, more is tas tough stories on the tents
- 49:25Speaker 2: with Billy's a Kid in the.
- 49:26Speaker 7: Morning only on the new Mix one or two point nine.
- 49:30Speaker 3: Were so nice out like eighty three and sunny today,
- 49:33Speaker 3: same thinking tom out a little warmer. Actually tomorrow high
- 49:34Speaker 3: around ninety and then this week and they're saying it's
- 49:37Speaker 3: gonna be clowny but not much rain. Good originally said
- 49:40Speaker 3: it was gonna rain, but now the rain looks like
- 49:41Speaker 3: it's gonna hold out until Monday. But nobody's been right
- 49:43Speaker 3: about the weather in the past month. I know, So
- 49:46Speaker 3: who knows? Candice Slopez?
- 49:47Speaker 1: What is going on?
- 49:48Speaker 4: Well, this new report says Texas public schools are seeing
- 49:50Speaker 4: their first non pandemic enrollment decline in about forty years.
- 49:54Speaker 4: This is a historic drop of over seventy six one
- 49:57Speaker 4: thousand students. The report says this represents a one point
- 50:01Speaker 4: four percent decrease from last year. But there were a
- 50:05Speaker 4: few places that had growth. Dallas and Richardson, we're both
- 50:08Speaker 4: on that list, but for Worth saw a notable decline.
- 50:11Speaker 4: And they're saying that the biggest drop is coming from
- 50:14Speaker 4: elementary schools.
- 50:15Speaker 5: So you know, just lower birth rates as a you know,
- 50:18Speaker 5: a big factor in this.
- 50:19Speaker 4: More people are going for alternative education options like private
- 50:22Speaker 4: schools or homeschooling, and a good percentage they're saying, are
- 50:26Speaker 4: you know, from Hispanic communities, And so this is a
- 50:29Speaker 4: big deal, you know, because we this is only the
- 50:31Speaker 4: second time we've seen.
- 50:32Speaker 5: A drop like this in our history.
- 50:35Speaker 4: So yeah, it's times are changing for sure, and the schools.
- 50:38Speaker 1: Are closing the schools. I feel like I never heard
- 50:41Speaker 1: of when I was kid, I never heard of a
- 50:42Speaker 1: school closing.
- 50:43Speaker 2: No.
- 50:43Speaker 4: We had portables outside the school because we didn't have
- 50:46Speaker 4: enough room for everybody.
- 50:47Speaker 1: Yeah, we had trailer trailer is that what it was called.
- 50:50Speaker 1: I mean in my neighborhood was.
- 50:53Speaker 5: What they were portable classrooms.
- 50:55Speaker 1: The fancy way of saying the trailer.
- 50:58Speaker 5: So I don't know, I hated those though, you did, Yeah,
- 51:02Speaker 5: because you had to walk outside.
- 51:03Speaker 6: Yeah, so it was like, yeah, oh they got hot quick,
- 51:09Speaker 6: and yeah.
- 51:09Speaker 5: You couldn't figure out which one was weird.
- 51:11Speaker 1: Your school had AC Yeah, oh my school didn't have AC.
- 51:15Speaker 5: Your high school, no, mine, I don't think my mid elementary.
- 51:18Speaker 1: My middle school. But I grew up in Michigan.
- 51:20Speaker 5: Yeah, that's true.
- 51:21Speaker 1: That makes sense, ac.
- 51:22Speaker 5: I don't think, oh, you didn't need it.
- 51:24Speaker 1: I guess we did.
- 51:25Speaker 5: Okay, so it gets hot.
- 51:27Speaker 1: We didn't have it. We didn't have boss sad time.
- 51:30Speaker 1: What'd you write? I mean, what did you read? We
- 51:33Speaker 1: didn't in my reading level, all right.
- 51:39Speaker 4: The Cowboys announced their season opener yesterday. They'll take on
- 51:43Speaker 4: the New York Giants in New York on September thirteenth.
- 51:46Speaker 4: They've also revealed who were going to play on Thanksgiving Day,
- 51:49Speaker 4: and that will be the Eagles.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Uh.
- 51:50Speaker 4: The NFL is going to release the full schedule coming
- 51:53Speaker 4: up on Thursday. But this is just you know, a
- 51:55Speaker 4: little pre pretreat they're giving us.
- 51:58Speaker 3: I got a little slack earlier because, as I said,
- 52:00Speaker 3: I don't know this year, I'm just I'm kind of defeated,
- 52:02Speaker 3: like I'm going into.
- 52:03Speaker 1: It like here we go again.
- 52:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:05Speaker 1: And then people are like, come on, you're not a fan.
- 52:07Speaker 1: Of course, I'm a Cowboys fan.
- 52:08Speaker 4: I mean we always look forward to September. I love
- 52:10Speaker 4: see when the Cowboys go to Oxnard.
- 52:12Speaker 5: It's just a tradition. It's the whole vibe.
- 52:14Speaker 1: I no candas, but it's where I'm fatigued.
- 52:17Speaker 4: Yeah already.
- 52:17Speaker 1: But but yeah, then I got back to my senses. Yeah, guys,
- 52:23Speaker 1: that's our year. It is.
- 52:24Speaker 5: It is our year. We're all in.
- 52:26Speaker 4: Speaking of sports, guys, we mentioned Katie Perry yesterday. She's
- 52:29Speaker 4: basically headlining the World Cup opening ceremony. But Sports Illustrated
- 52:33Speaker 4: just announced a four city concert and nightlife event series.
- 52:37Speaker 5: It is coming to Dallas, so.
- 52:39Speaker 4: The performers on the lineup will be different for each city.
- 52:42Speaker 4: So Nelly is a part of it, fifty said Diplo.
- 52:44Speaker 4: The Chainsmokers and Gordo, who is headlining the Dallas show.
- 52:50Speaker 4: LA Miami and New York are also getting shows, but
- 52:52Speaker 4: ours is going to be June twentieth.
- 52:54Speaker 5: They say they're going to announce.
- 52:55Speaker 4: More performers as we get a little bit closer, but yeah,
- 52:58Speaker 4: something I look forward to. As these events are getting
- 53:00Speaker 4: announced around the World Cup.
- 53:01Speaker 3: I know they're saying it's gonna get hectic, but not
- 53:03Speaker 3: as hectic as they thought it was going to get. Yeah,
- 53:06Speaker 3: which is a good and a bad thing, because this
- 53:07Speaker 3: is good for the economy. We want it busy, but yeah, traffic,
- 53:10Speaker 3: I don't think we're ready for it.
- 53:11Speaker 4: Yeah, no, I'm definitely not ready for it, but we'll
- 53:14Speaker 4: keep you posted on any other events. Of course, I'm
- 53:16Speaker 4: Kanda Slopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 53:20Speaker 7: Get off your test. We promise you'll feel better.

- 53:45Speaker 3: eight three three seven eight seven one O two nine,
- 53:48Speaker 3: go ahead.
- 53:48Speaker 1: What's up?
- 53:49Speaker 5: Oh man?
- 53:49Speaker 8: I feel bad even calling because technically this is not
- 53:53Speaker 8: my business, but it is bothering me so.
- 53:57Speaker 9: Much I cannot stop thinking about it.
- 54:00Speaker 1: What's up?
- 54:01Speaker 8: I have this coworker, and we're really friendly at work,
- 54:03Speaker 8: but she acts like we're best friends, which we are
- 54:05Speaker 8: absolutely not.
- 54:07Speaker 9: And lately she's.
- 54:08Speaker 8: Been like calling out of work a ton, showing up late,
- 54:13Speaker 8: leaving early, all that stuff. Then one day I overheard
- 54:16Speaker 8: my boss saying something about how she's trying to like
- 54:19Speaker 8: be understanding because my coworker is dealing with mourning sickness,
- 54:23Speaker 8: and I'm like, wait.
- 54:25Speaker 1: What, Oh, she's pregnant.
- 54:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 54:28Speaker 8: Well, later that day, she like pulls me aside and
- 54:34Speaker 8: tells me, and she's laughing that she's not actually pregnant.
- 54:38Speaker 9: You guys, what, Oh, she's not pregnant. She's not.
- 54:43Speaker 8: She just told our boss that she was because she
- 54:45Speaker 8: needed an excuse for always being late missing work. Yeah.
- 54:51Speaker 5: I hate this, so.
- 54:53Speaker 9: I hate it too. She like she just like figured
- 54:55Speaker 9: nobody questions a pregnant woman.
- 54:59Speaker 1: What's gonna it happened in nine months or you know,
- 55:02Speaker 1: seven months? Well, I don't know, you know, however long.
- 55:03Speaker 8: She's like, obviously there's no good energy, keep this going exactly.
- 55:08Speaker 9: I was speechless.
- 55:10Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't blame you. I would not like this either.
- 55:12Speaker 5: So I'm sick.
- 55:13Speaker 4: One thing, I had a death in the family.
- 55:15Speaker 5: People use that, but I'm pregnant. I know.
- 55:19Speaker 8: It gross out even more because like people have, you know,
- 55:22Speaker 8: struggle for years to have babies. They like women lose babies,
- 55:26Speaker 8: and she's just like using it as a fake sick
- 55:29Speaker 8: day path Like just it's so disgusting.
- 55:32Speaker 9: It made me look at her completely differently.
- 55:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I would too.
- 55:35Speaker 3: This would make me look at somebody differently. I'd be like,
- 55:38Speaker 3: this is I'd almost have to say something. But like
- 55:40Speaker 3: you said, I know it's not technically your business, but
- 55:43Speaker 3: at the same time, I just it's gross to lie about.
- 55:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's so gross awful.
- 55:48Speaker 8: And like you were saying, like she hasn't thought it through,
- 55:50Speaker 8: like how do you end a fake pregnancy?
- 55:53Speaker 1: You know that's it. She's unfortunately probably gonna.
- 55:56Speaker 5: Say that fake the end of the pregnant, fake the.
- 55:58Speaker 1: End of it too, and you know that's not going
- 56:00Speaker 1: to be.
- 56:01Speaker 5: She'll probably take a couple of days off for that too.
- 56:03Speaker 3: That now, that wouldn't rage. Oh yeah, that wouldn't raise
- 56:08Speaker 3: That's I don't.
- 56:08Speaker 1: Even want to think about that. I don't like that
- 56:10Speaker 1: at all.
- 56:10Speaker 8: So I know, so like my dilemma is like I
- 56:14Speaker 8: want to part of me wants to tell my boss
- 56:15Speaker 8: because it's so gross, But then I'm like, do I really.
- 56:18Speaker 9: Want to get involved in this, like back storm?
- 56:21Speaker 1: I don't know, do you?
- 56:22Speaker 3: That's a good question, like is this something like I'm
- 56:25Speaker 3: trying to think, like we have to watch these videos
- 56:26Speaker 3: sometimes of work, like if somebody's doing something.
- 56:29Speaker 5: Compliance? Would you?
- 56:31Speaker 1: Yeah? Compliance, would you say something, see something, say something?
- 56:34Speaker 4: But in this case, unless her like work is affecting
- 56:38Speaker 4: the team, or tanking the company, or like our goals together,
- 56:42Speaker 4: I don't.
- 56:42Speaker 5: Know if you could say anything.
- 56:43Speaker 3: Technically she is stealing company time and money though, if
- 56:47Speaker 3: she's lying about But then again, how do you do
- 56:50Speaker 3: I don't know if if she told you this, if
- 56:53Speaker 3: she just told you this, it could be just hearsay.
- 56:54Speaker 2: You know.
- 56:55Speaker 4: Yeah, if you're the only one she told, then she's
- 56:58Speaker 4: gonna know you're the one.
- 56:59Speaker 5: That rated her out.
- 57:00Speaker 3: I don't know if I would say anything. I think
- 57:01Speaker 3: this kind of karma comes full circle on its own.
- 57:04Speaker 9: Yeah, I'm a great I don't know.
- 57:06Speaker 6: You know, if you tell, they got to get HR
- 57:10Speaker 6: involved the whole big No, that's who you would tell,
- 57:13Speaker 6: is HR?
- 57:13Speaker 1: I guess right? Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, I don't
- 57:17Speaker 1: tell anything.
- 57:18Speaker 3: I avoid HR at all costs, even when I see
- 57:21Speaker 3: him in the hallway, keep my head down.
- 57:25Speaker 1: Like they won't notice me.
- 57:27Speaker 9: Right, Yeah, I think I might stay out of it.
- 57:29Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 57:30Speaker 3: Well, I'm sorry, I'm sorry that you got to deal
- 57:32Speaker 3: with that. That is that is awful, And I would Yeah,
- 57:34Speaker 3: I wouldn't it feels icky. I wouldn't want to be
- 57:36Speaker 3: around it at all.
- 57:38Speaker 1: But she'll get hers. I don't know.
- 57:39Speaker 3: Some way, somehow this stuff comes around. I truly believe that.
- 57:42Speaker 3: And you know it won't be It won't be good
- 57:45Speaker 3: for her.
- 57:46Speaker 9: No, it is not going to be good, not at all.
- 57:47Speaker 1: Well, let us know what happens. Nike's one or two
- 57:50Speaker 1: point nine. We're about to get out of here.
- 57:51Speaker 3: It's bail of a kid, Candy slow pass producer, Pool
- 57:53Speaker 3: will see you tomorrow, but dirty little secret of course

- 57:58Speaker 3: So if you want to win and listen to the
- 57:59Speaker 3: forties every hour, can I switch?
- 58:01Speaker 1: You got going on?

- 58:12Speaker 6: into his school because he left it in the back
- 58:14Speaker 6: of my car.
- 58:14Speaker 1: Oh no, just text me or emailed me rather, Oh say,
- 58:20Speaker 1: they can text and they can email. They don't have
- 58:22Speaker 1: a phone. I think I gotta do some yard work.
- 58:24Speaker 1: I don't want to do it.
- 58:25Speaker 5: But why why don't you want to do it?
- 58:27Speaker 3: Because it sucks because I'm not Eric Okay, because I
- 58:30Speaker 3: suck at it.
- 58:31Speaker 5: Well, he can teach you.
- 58:33Speaker 1: Teach me what how to mow the grass?
- 58:34Speaker 5: Well, how to you know, get nice grass?
- 58:37Speaker 1: Different seeds and grass. I don't have grass. You, isn't
- 58:42Speaker 1: it everything shady in my life?
- 58:46Speaker 4: You have a big tree, it makes shade in the grass.
- 58:48Speaker 1: Won Yeah, it's blocking my weeds.
- 58:50Speaker 3: My weeds won't grow, right, I have like weeds in
- 58:53Speaker 3: the patch of grass. But if you squint, the weeds
- 58:56Speaker 3: look like grass. So that's what I do. I just
- 58:59Speaker 3: cut the weeds perfectly, and then I just trim everything
- 59:02Speaker 3: up and I'm like, oh, my weeks look good today.
- 59:05Speaker 3: He would burn the grass and do something, probably, but
