- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with I our Radio. It's time for the almost Famous podcast.
- 0:07Speaker 1: Yes we're back doubling up. This week got my wonderful
- 0:11Speaker 1: co host Ashley Iken Eddie and another co host for
- 0:16Speaker 1: two episodes. Ashley, how pumped are you to have Jessica
- 0:21Speaker 1: Gerard on the show right now breaking this all down
- 0:24Speaker 1: with us? I am so excited to have you here,
- 0:27Speaker 1: jess because one you're at Woman till All so you
- 0:30Speaker 1: can give us all the inside dudes. And two you
- 0:33Speaker 1: know you're bringing back body glitter. And three you were
- 0:36Speaker 1: like the huter row pit character of the show a
- 0:39Speaker 1: couple weeks ago when you're like, I am not going
- 0:45Speaker 1: to beg for you. Yes, thanks, guys, I'm so excited
- 0:49Speaker 1: to be here. Thank you for having me. Are you
- 0:51Speaker 1: nervous that Ashley and I are just going to absolutely
- 0:54Speaker 1: be so tough and so mean and so just grueling
- 0:58Speaker 1: out on the show hard. I went through a whole
- 1:02Speaker 1: season of the Bachelor, so I think I can take
- 1:04Speaker 1: you guys too, So we're big fans of you. In fact,
- 1:08Speaker 1: when we found out that you're going to be on
- 1:10Speaker 1: the show with us, we're very excited and we asked
- 1:13Speaker 1: to have you help us break down the Women Tell
- 1:15Speaker 1: All and then you're gonna come back for a separate
- 1:17Speaker 1: show and kind of give us an in depth about
- 1:19Speaker 1: you in your life. And so right now we're going
- 1:22Speaker 1: to jump right into the Woman Tall All. We're gonna
- 1:24Speaker 1: skip all the backstory of who you are and what
- 1:27Speaker 1: you're about, and we're gonna say that for a special time. So, Jess,
- 1:31Speaker 1: you were at The Woman Tall All to start this out,
- 1:34Speaker 1: to give our listeners a little perspective, tell us what
- 1:38Speaker 1: the Women Tall is like, like the leading up to it,
- 1:41Speaker 1: not being on the show, not being in the seats
- 1:44Speaker 1: that obviously, your butt is gonna get so sweaty because
- 1:46Speaker 1: they're plastic and there's light shining on you and there's
- 1:48Speaker 1: no breathable room. Uncomfortable, very uncomfortable. Yes, your butt bone
- 1:53Speaker 1: is truly aching. After those four times. I remember, I
- 1:57Speaker 1: remember I had when I was the bachelor. I would yeah,
- 2:01Speaker 1: when I was announced or something as the bachelor, I
- 2:03Speaker 1: had to get up from my seat and step up
- 2:05Speaker 1: onto stage. And I remember being so nervous because I
- 2:08Speaker 1: could tell that, like where I was sitting was just
- 2:10Speaker 1: covered in sweat, and I was thinking I was going
- 2:13Speaker 1: to be the guy to walk up on stage with
- 2:15Speaker 1: a different colored you know, back backspot than my sue. Okay,
- 2:20Speaker 1: so Jess walk us through like the trailer and the
- 2:23Speaker 1: lead up and everything going on. Yeah. So it was
- 2:26Speaker 1: a really rainy day that day, and I remember I
- 2:29Speaker 1: kept repeating it. I was like, is this foreshadowing something
- 2:32Speaker 1: like is this going to be a very chaotic day?
- 2:35Speaker 1: It was plouring rand I think that there was like
- 2:38Speaker 1: a really bad store in California or something, but that weekend.
- 2:41Speaker 1: But it was so surreal. I've never been in like
- 2:45Speaker 1: a fitting room or like I don't know what's kind
- 2:48Speaker 1: of technically calling room, Yeah, dressing room. Yeah, I've never
- 2:51Speaker 1: been in a dressing room before like that. I've never
- 2:53Speaker 1: you know, had my makeup touched up and you know,
- 2:57Speaker 1: gone all pampered. So it was definitely like I was
- 3:00Speaker 1: getting really nervous and I was like, oh gosh, this
- 3:02Speaker 1: is like the real deal. And like going into the
- 3:04Speaker 1: Warner Brothers studio, I was like, I've never been there before.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I don't know anything about it. I just was cool.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I was like, what's been filmed here? Like I want
- 3:11Speaker 1: to go explore all of these buildings. But and it
- 3:15Speaker 1: was really cool seeing everyone, and everyone was excited and nervous.
- 3:19Speaker 1: We were all kind of on the same page, and
- 3:21Speaker 1: we knew we were gonna see Zach and at that
- 3:24Speaker 1: point I knew I was gonna get a hot seat,
- 3:25Speaker 1: so I was just I was like freaking out. It
- 3:28Speaker 1: was just so many nerves and all in one and
- 3:31Speaker 1: in a very rainy day, so I was like, oh gosh,
- 3:35Speaker 1: I don't want my hair to get messed up. Well,
- 3:38Speaker 1: you didn't have much to worry about when it came
- 3:41Speaker 1: to talking with the girls, so you probably really got
- 3:44Speaker 1: to sit back and just listen for a couple of
- 3:46Speaker 1: hours before Zack on stage. You really you had no
- 3:48Speaker 1: drama with the girls. You barely on air. You didn't
- 3:52Speaker 1: really involve yourself except for with the little drama between
- 3:56Speaker 1: Brooklyn and Kat. You seem to depend cattle bit in
- 4:00Speaker 1: that moment. Yeah. Did that feel good that you got
- 4:04Speaker 1: to not have to involve yourself in girl drama? Yeah?
- 4:07Speaker 1: So I feel like in general, I don't really involve
- 4:11Speaker 1: myself with drama. Like in the real world too as well.
- 4:15Speaker 1: I will always defend myself if I feel like I'm
- 4:18Speaker 1: in a position where I need to or someone else
- 4:21Speaker 1: at the time, you know, with Brooklyn and Kat, I
- 4:24Speaker 1: felt like that was between them and it wasn't really
- 4:27Speaker 1: my place to get involved. But there were points where
- 4:29Speaker 1: I defended her because Kat is a good person and
- 4:31Speaker 1: she meant well, and you know, she was owning up
- 4:34Speaker 1: to her mistakes and I felt like it was being
- 4:36Speaker 1: dragged out. But you know, I don't think that it's
- 4:40Speaker 1: my position to voice an opinion that I'm not in
- 4:44Speaker 1: something that I'm not involved in. So it was nice
- 4:46Speaker 1: to sit back and not be involved when everyone was
- 4:48Speaker 1: like screaming at each other. I think there was like
- 4:50Speaker 1: some clips in my face where I'm like, I'm just like,
- 4:52Speaker 1: oh gosh, like everyone in my ear. Yeah. Ashley and
- 4:57Speaker 1: I always say this because one of the questions you'll
- 4:59Speaker 1: get asked the most now for the next I don't
- 5:03Speaker 1: I mean, how many who knows how long of your
- 5:05Speaker 1: life will be? Is it real? Like is the show real?
- 5:09Speaker 1: And what Ashley and I always say is it is
- 5:11Speaker 1: very real. Like I never felt like I was told
- 5:14Speaker 1: or scripted or given a list of things what to do.
- 5:17Speaker 1: And there's a very few moments where you're watching things
- 5:21Speaker 1: happen in the mansion or on the road or at
- 5:24Speaker 1: a tell all and you're like, I cannot believe I'm
- 5:26Speaker 1: getting a front row seat at this, because nobody that
- 5:29Speaker 1: ever watches this will ever believe it. Yeah. No, definitely.
- 5:33Speaker 1: When I was sitting there and when everyone was kind
- 5:35Speaker 1: of like voicing their opinions rightfully, so I was like, Wow,
- 5:38Speaker 1: this is just as intense as it is on TV
- 5:41Speaker 1: as it's in person. It was crazy. But I feel
- 5:45Speaker 1: like everyone when you're in that position, you want your
- 5:48Speaker 1: voice to be heard and you feel like, you know,
- 5:50Speaker 1: you don't want it to be overshadowed. So everyone's kind
- 5:52Speaker 1: of pitching in and so it was very chaotic and
- 5:57Speaker 1: entertaining to watch. So and it was even more entertaining
- 6:00Speaker 1: and watch on TV because I was like, oh my gosh,
- 6:02Speaker 1: I forgot that was said, and that was said, and
- 6:04Speaker 1: I was like laughing at all of it. It was
- 6:07Speaker 1: kind of funny and crazy. But well, let's go down
- 6:10Speaker 1: the list of big moments, big dramatic moments between the girls.
- 6:15Speaker 1: So first up, well there's the Anastasia thing. Yeah, let's
- 6:22Speaker 1: go with Anastasia. So Annastasia and Carlie and that drama.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Do you feel like Anastasia was getting like for lack
- 6:31Speaker 1: of a better word like pounded on stage or do
- 6:35Speaker 1: you feel like you know there was like a side
- 6:39Speaker 1: that wasn't being told. Yeah, So with Anastasia, she had
- 6:45Speaker 1: two different points that we were being addressed to her.
- 6:48Speaker 1: The microaggression, which I feel like that was handled very well.
- 6:53Speaker 1: That needed to be said and we all need to
- 6:55Speaker 1: be educated on that. So and I feel like she
- 6:57Speaker 1: handled that well and she apologized and owned up to it.
- 7:00Speaker 1: And then the other side was the following and being
- 7:03Speaker 1: there for the wrong reasons. And you know, I'm even
- 7:08Speaker 1: though I say out of drama, I do believe that
- 7:10Speaker 1: everyone should be voicing their opinions and do I believe
- 7:14Speaker 1: that should be in a respectful way always that I try,
- 7:16Speaker 1: but it may not always come across that way. I
- 7:20Speaker 1: think for the most part, everyone was able to vocalize
- 7:25Speaker 1: what they needed to say. I don't really know how
- 7:29Speaker 1: I feel about her having a boyfriend. I don't think
- 7:31Speaker 1: that that's true personally from what I'm from what I
- 7:33Speaker 1: know from her, I think she's a great girl. I
- 7:36Speaker 1: don't think she would risk losing a job and all
- 7:39Speaker 1: of that if she had someone at waiting for her
- 7:40Speaker 1: at home. And I think she's still single, so if
- 7:43Speaker 1: she had a boyfriend, I don't think she's dating them now,
- 7:46Speaker 1: but um so, I don't know. I don't really think
- 7:50Speaker 1: that that part's true. But I think she handled herself
- 7:52Speaker 1: well and I respect her for that because that's a
- 7:56Speaker 1: really tough position to be in when you're getting accused
- 7:59Speaker 1: of this and you can't really defend yourself without any proof. Yeah,
- 8:03Speaker 1: I mean you can't. It's been a storyline now for
- 8:06Speaker 1: a few seasons where somebody comes into it with a
- 8:08Speaker 1: boyfriend or a girlfriend and it does it feels like, Hey,
- 8:12Speaker 1: if you did that, No, probably not smart, but I
- 8:14Speaker 1: could see that you'd be dating up to the show
- 8:16Speaker 1: and exploring your options. We've said that. I think that's fine,
- 8:21Speaker 1: but you can't prove really if you're wrong or right,
- 8:24Speaker 1: or if you're doing it or not. You know, we're
- 8:27Speaker 1: getting into the drama a little bit, and I think
- 8:31Speaker 1: your insight is going to be so valuable to help
- 8:33Speaker 1: us get perspective. Two questions for you, one just to
- 8:36Speaker 1: give us some idea. Did you have your own dressing
- 8:39Speaker 1: room before Women Tell All? Or are you with the
- 8:41Speaker 1: group of women in one dressing room hearing all of
- 8:45Speaker 1: the chatter before the show? I was in a dressing
- 8:48Speaker 1: room with my one of my really good friends, Jen
- 8:51Speaker 1: just knows Jenne be on the show. I call her Jen.
- 8:53Speaker 1: But we were just hanging out, hyping each other up, like,
- 8:58Speaker 1: you know, just catching up. I haven't seen her in
- 9:00Speaker 1: a while, so I we didn't really I was helping
- 9:04Speaker 1: her just like discuss. I knew she was gonna you know,
- 9:08Speaker 1: educates on microaggression, so we're kind of like talking about
- 9:11Speaker 1: that topic and you know, I was asking questions, learning
- 9:14Speaker 1: more about it and you know, understanding it better. And
- 9:17Speaker 1: so we had really good, meaningful conversations. We weren't really
- 9:21Speaker 1: gossiping about the girls or anything. And like, because a
- 9:24Speaker 1: lot of the drama that happened, I don't know if
- 9:26Speaker 1: it's pre planned or not. I think everyone was just
- 9:29Speaker 1: kind of vocalizing it as they went, So you know,
- 9:32Speaker 1: we didn't get to foreshadow of any of that. You know,
- 9:36Speaker 1: that's interesting. Yeah, So you know, the drama isn't exactly
- 9:40Speaker 1: where a producer comes in and says, here are the
- 9:42Speaker 1: conversations I want you to bring up, and I know
- 9:44Speaker 1: you're going to bring them up. It just happens because
- 9:46Speaker 1: people want their moment. They're angry or they're upset and
- 9:50Speaker 1: they voiced them on a stage and then we see
- 9:52Speaker 1: how it plays out. And that's what makes women tell
- 9:54Speaker 1: all beautiful and also sometimes very awkward. Speaking of awkward, Ashley,
- 10:01Speaker 1: I want to know if you had a feeling about this,
- 10:05Speaker 1: and Jess, I want to hear yours as well. This
- 10:07Speaker 1: is the first time I can remember ever, you know,
- 10:11Speaker 1: on the Bachelor franchise, a franchise that holds himself to
- 10:14Speaker 1: a very high standard, and I think this season especially
- 10:16Speaker 1: feels like a throwback. It feels like, you know, a
- 10:19Speaker 1: really good season of not a ton of drama, a
- 10:24Speaker 1: lot of character development, a lot of tough breakups. It
- 10:29Speaker 1: feels like maybe of a season six years ago. But
- 10:33Speaker 1: this was the first time I've ever heard the show
- 10:35Speaker 1: introduced next week as sex Week. I'm pretty sure that
- 10:41Speaker 1: that's because Zach coined it himself, right, He said something
- 10:45Speaker 1: along the lines up, I know this is Fantasy Sweets Week,
- 10:48Speaker 1: which is basically sex week, but I don't want to
- 10:50Speaker 1: participate in that. Yeah, okay, so it doesn't feel weird
- 10:55Speaker 1: to you two that it's called sex week. Now, it's
- 10:58Speaker 1: not fantasy seek, it's not they Jesse made a point
- 11:02Speaker 1: of saying like Zach coined it as sex week, so
- 11:06Speaker 1: it's only going to be called that this season as
- 11:09Speaker 1: a sort of joke. Okay, good. I didn't want to
- 11:13Speaker 1: keep going, maybe imagine. Yeah, I don't think it should
- 11:18Speaker 1: keep going. I thought it got weird there for a second,
- 11:22Speaker 1: but okay, that's it, Ashley, back to the girl's drama. Okay,
- 11:26Speaker 1: So the other like sort of villainous person we had
- 11:29Speaker 1: this week this year was Christina. Tell us a scoop
- 11:34Speaker 1: on Christina in the house. We know that she got
- 11:36Speaker 1: kind of a bad rap because she kept talking about
- 11:39Speaker 1: her time with Zach. You know, like if people are like,
- 11:41Speaker 1: we don't really want to hear about your time with Zach.
- 11:43Speaker 1: He's even really self centered about this. Was that who
- 11:47Speaker 1: she was or was there more to her? Do you
- 11:49Speaker 1: think that she got eliminated too early? Yeah? So Christina
- 11:53Speaker 1: is one of the women in the house that I
- 11:54Speaker 1: actually didn't spend that much time with. It kind of
- 11:58Speaker 1: how it worked out, like she got that one on
- 12:00Speaker 1: right away, and then um, I had a group day,
- 12:03Speaker 1: and then we had the football day and her team
- 12:04Speaker 1: once and then she had the after parties. So I
- 12:06Speaker 1: didn't want get to spend how much time with her
- 12:09Speaker 1: from what I gathered, Like, you know, I think she
- 12:12Speaker 1: really does mean well. UM, I think she just was
- 12:16Speaker 1: unaware of, you know, maybe some comments that she made
- 12:20Speaker 1: in the house that maybe made people uncomfortable. UM. I
- 12:23Speaker 1: personally was never in a conversation with her long enough
- 12:25Speaker 1: to where I could point those things out. UM. I
- 12:29Speaker 1: think she's she's kind, and I don't think that she
- 12:33Speaker 1: intended to go into this butting heads with anyone. And
- 12:36Speaker 1: I think that's very obvious with how she kept trying
- 12:38Speaker 1: to apologize and speak on her part. But UM, I
- 12:44Speaker 1: just from what I heard from the other women, she
- 12:46Speaker 1: did make them uncomfortable and she did put them in
- 12:50Speaker 1: positions where they, you know, wanted to remove themselves from,
- 12:53Speaker 1: which is unfortunate. But thankfully, like I never got to
- 12:56Speaker 1: experience it. So um, it's just kind of hear hearsay
- 13:00Speaker 1: from what I got. Can you can you elaborate on
- 13:02Speaker 1: how she made them feel uncomfortable? Um? Yeah. So I
- 13:08Speaker 1: know with the situation when Charity got her her group date,
- 13:12Speaker 1: Rose and Christina you know kind of took her a
- 13:15Speaker 1: moment from her and was you know confused and why
- 13:19Speaker 1: and you know all of that it really upset Charity
- 13:21Speaker 1: and rightfully. So I think if I got that group
- 13:23Speaker 1: date rose and someone said they were confused why they
- 13:26Speaker 1: didn't get it, I would be like, what, Um, so
- 13:30Speaker 1: it's just situations like that. Um, I think she was
- 13:34Speaker 1: free to open to really talk about it. But it's
- 13:37Speaker 1: a time and place when you can, and like those
- 13:40Speaker 1: are the moments that like aren't yours to take? Makes sense?
- 13:45Speaker 1: So I'm curious because you said it a few times now,
- 13:49Speaker 1: you stayed out of a lot of this, like it's
- 13:51Speaker 1: here say to you, right, you're not seeing this, you're
- 13:52Speaker 1: not a part of it, but you're around a while
- 13:56Speaker 1: so you're obviously there for a lot of these experiences.
- 13:58Speaker 1: How did you stay out of it? Like? What was
- 14:01Speaker 1: Was it just luck? Was it kind of your personality?
- 14:05Speaker 1: Would you do? Yeah? So pretty much my whole life,
- 14:09Speaker 1: I've always been in positions where, um, you know, in
- 14:12Speaker 1: college or in high school as a youth group leader
- 14:15Speaker 1: or in college as a new member educator with inclusion
- 14:18Speaker 1: and stuff like, I've just always been able to understand
- 14:21Speaker 1: people's perspectives on situations. And you know, there was a
- 14:27Speaker 1: part like in the Bahamas where I tried to speak
- 14:31Speaker 1: up about the Kylie and Honestasia situation, and I was
- 14:35Speaker 1: told that it's not my place too, so I think
- 14:38Speaker 1: then moving on, like, I just kind of realized it's
- 14:41Speaker 1: not m am. I allowed people. I'm allowed to say
- 14:46Speaker 1: not people told you that you weren't allowed to get
- 14:48Speaker 1: involved in that drama. Yeah, so they're either having her
- 14:52Speaker 1: best interests they're not. You hear, either do it or
- 14:55Speaker 1: you don't. It's one of those which I understand it's
- 14:57Speaker 1: not my place to speak on. So it was just
- 15:00Speaker 1: one of those things where I like, if I wasn't
- 15:02Speaker 1: passionate on something, I wasn't going to the voice in
- 15:05Speaker 1: my opinion. But I guess it's luck. When the whole
- 15:11Speaker 1: thing with Kat and Brooklyn happened, I did speak with
- 15:13Speaker 1: her privately about it and explained to her how it
- 15:16Speaker 1: was wrong. And you know, we were roommates, so that's
- 15:20Speaker 1: how I was able to do that because we were
- 15:22Speaker 1: together in a room or else that would have been
- 15:25Speaker 1: filmed and aired, but we were. So it's just I
- 15:28Speaker 1: guess it's luck in those situations. Well, that brings up
- 15:40Speaker 1: I feel like my third and final point of intense
- 15:44Speaker 1: girl Drama, which when I say intense, you guys probably
- 15:47Speaker 1: had the least amount of drama that we've seen in
- 15:50Speaker 1: a lot of seasons, which was nice for us I
- 15:52Speaker 1: think as an audience, it was in my perspective and
- 15:54Speaker 1: probably for you as a cast as well. But yeah,
- 15:58Speaker 1: I want to get into Kat and Brooklyn a little bit,
- 16:00Speaker 1: because Brooklyn doesn't seem over it, and it didn't even
- 16:04Speaker 1: happen to Brooklyn. It happened to Charity. Charity was the
- 16:07Speaker 1: one who you know, had to go on a date
- 16:10Speaker 1: after a guy already kissed Kat and Charity, yeah, she
- 16:15Speaker 1: was just like all right, um, I mean that's not
- 16:16Speaker 1: the nicest thing, but also moving on and Brooklyn, just
- 16:19Speaker 1: like a Kat said, just days later, kept bringing it up.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Why do you think Brooklyn had such a thing after
- 16:26Speaker 1: Kat back a couple weeks ago. My theory was that
- 16:30Speaker 1: she was just very intimidated by her, as I felt
- 16:34Speaker 1: like she was the obvious frontrunner there. We were very wrong.
- 16:40Speaker 1: You know, in that moment, a lot of the women,
- 16:43Speaker 1: including myself, we're very confused why Kat did that. You know,
- 16:48Speaker 1: we are dating the same man, so you know, you can,
- 16:51Speaker 1: you have the right to speak to him, but again
- 16:53Speaker 1: time and place, so all of us were confused. I
- 16:57Speaker 1: remember when when Kat walked away all them and looked
- 17:00Speaker 1: at me, and they were like because me and cart
- 17:01Speaker 1: close and they were like, well, why is she doing that?
- 17:03Speaker 1: And I was like, I have no idea, Like she
- 17:06Speaker 1: didn't run that by me, So we were all confused.
- 17:10Speaker 1: And because I think Brooklyn, you know, has a voice
- 17:14Speaker 1: and she's not afraid to use it, and that's one
- 17:18Speaker 1: of her really really good friends. I think she she
- 17:20Speaker 1: wanted to be able to speak for charity when charity
- 17:23Speaker 1: wasn't present because she went on her date, and maybe
- 17:26Speaker 1: Kat's response wasn't fitting what Brooklyn needed, and so Brooklyn
- 17:30Speaker 1: kind of kept it going. You know, I think Kat
- 17:35Speaker 1: she did, I know, Kat apologize and she was doing
- 17:37Speaker 1: her best. I don't really know why the drama continued.
- 17:41Speaker 1: I you know, it wasn't it wasn't a lot of
- 17:46Speaker 1: it's hard off, but we all agreed that like it
- 17:49Speaker 1: was the wrong thing to do. But did it need
- 17:52Speaker 1: to be continued into a multiple day conversation. Probably not. Yeah,
- 17:58Speaker 1: And really we didn't say of anything there. On the
- 18:00Speaker 1: Women Tell All stage, Jesse used that as a lead
- 18:05Speaker 1: in to solving these problems further and Bachelor in Paradise,
- 18:10Speaker 1: how much did you hear the word Paradise be thrown
- 18:13Speaker 1: around at Women Tell All amongst the girls, amongst the producers,
- 18:17Speaker 1: because a lot of the times we feel like Women
- 18:19Speaker 1: Tell All is kind of an audition tape for your
- 18:22Speaker 1: spot in Paradise. Yeah, I you know, heard it here
- 18:28Speaker 1: and there, but I think I don't know, I don't
- 18:33Speaker 1: really know I answered that question. I'm gonna be honest. Yeah,
- 18:41Speaker 1: Paradise turn around a lot. I don't know if some
- 18:44Speaker 1: of those the women's intentions were to you know, get
- 18:47Speaker 1: a spot on Paradise or not. I didn't really put
- 18:50Speaker 1: that much thought into it. But for the most part,
- 18:53Speaker 1: the drama that did happen on the show, there was
- 18:57Speaker 1: never a resolution to it, and so I think a
- 19:01Speaker 1: lot of the women, regardless of Paradise or not, they
- 19:03Speaker 1: went into it wanting to get that resolution. And we
- 19:06Speaker 1: may not have seen a resolution really, but I think,
- 19:11Speaker 1: you know, that's something that they can work towards in
- 19:13Speaker 1: para on Paradise or a camera was. We're all friends
- 19:16Speaker 1: and really close, so you know, Jess, I have to
- 19:21Speaker 1: pause here for a second, because we do. We do
- 19:23Speaker 1: get to interview a lot of people coming off the show,
- 19:26Speaker 1: and everybody's great when you get to meet him, you
- 19:30Speaker 1: seem to have a very level head on your shoulders,
- 19:33Speaker 1: which oftentimes from a viewer's point of view, goes, she's
- 19:36Speaker 1: too good for this show or she's too good for
- 19:40Speaker 1: this experience. And right now, as you're answering these questions
- 19:43Speaker 1: and talking through, you know, situations that you weren't involved in,
- 19:47Speaker 1: and you're doing it in a really graceful and kind way,
- 19:51Speaker 1: which makes me go, yeah, she is. She's probably too
- 19:54Speaker 1: good for this show. But the show needs people like
- 19:56Speaker 1: jes to come onto it because they are great people
- 20:00Speaker 1: to have be ambassadors for the show. So if Paradise
- 20:04Speaker 1: came to you and said, hey, Jess, this might not
- 20:08Speaker 1: be your cup of tea, this might make you feel weird.
- 20:11Speaker 1: It's going to be a whole new environment, but we
- 20:13Speaker 1: want you to try Paradise right now, what would you say? Yes?
- 20:18Speaker 1: So I knew going into this. I think one of
- 20:22Speaker 1: my biggest fears when I was going said yes to
- 20:24Speaker 1: the Bachelor and was, you know, running towards it, was
- 20:27Speaker 1: are these women going to be nice to me? Like?
- 20:30Speaker 1: Can I handle that? And you know, thankfully we got
- 20:34Speaker 1: a season that everyone for the most part was kind
- 20:36Speaker 1: and respectful, to each other. And I am someone that
- 20:42Speaker 1: if the opportunity is given to me, that means I'm
- 20:44Speaker 1: ready for it. And I would definitely do Paradise if
- 20:49Speaker 1: there is someone that I was interested in. I'm a
- 20:51Speaker 1: hopeless romantic and you know I'm looking for love and
- 20:55Speaker 1: I'm looking for that opportunity. Yes, I'm not someone that
- 20:58Speaker 1: brings drama to the able, but that doesn't mean you
- 21:01Speaker 1: can't you're not qualified or good enough to find love. Um.
- 21:06Speaker 1: You know, there are so many great personalities that and
- 21:09Speaker 1: you know everyone brings something different to the table. And
- 21:12Speaker 1: you know, whereas I might not be the loudest in
- 21:15Speaker 1: the room, that doesn't mean I'm not a good friend,
- 21:17Speaker 1: and that doesn't mean I'm not a good partner, and
- 21:19Speaker 1: that doesn't mean that I'm not capable of being just
- 21:23Speaker 1: as deserving to be there. So I don't think anyone
- 21:27Speaker 1: is too good for the show because I think that
- 21:29Speaker 1: takes away from the other women. I think it's more
- 21:32Speaker 1: so that it's just a different personality if Jess isn't
- 21:36Speaker 1: on Paradise. Actually I'm right, I know I'm not happy
- 21:41Speaker 1: if I don't get to watch Jess, and I have
- 21:45Speaker 1: a fireside of me like you guys saw that with Zach,
- 21:48Speaker 1: like when I when I was crying and I like
- 21:51Speaker 1: kind of a little laugh in there like that, Like
- 21:53Speaker 1: my best guy friends texted me and was like, that's
- 21:55Speaker 1: the laugh that I know you're about to like go
- 21:57Speaker 1: off and you're like holding it Like I like, I
- 22:00Speaker 1: have that side to me, like a very passionate and
- 22:03Speaker 1: fiery side. I just I'm not going to bring it
- 22:05Speaker 1: out if it's not organic, and there was never a
- 22:08Speaker 1: moment like I'm not going to force him. I want
- 22:10Speaker 1: to watch the screen and be like I recognize that person.
- 22:13Speaker 1: I don't want to be like confused. So well, that's
- 22:16Speaker 1: a perfect segue then into your hot seat, you know,
- 22:19Speaker 1: to get us started on the hot seat, Jess, give
- 22:21Speaker 1: us perspective. You look back now and your time with
- 22:25Speaker 1: Zach and your time on the show, and you're fresh
- 22:28Speaker 1: off of the woman, Tell all, what did you feel
- 22:31Speaker 1: for Zach? What did you think was there now with
- 22:34Speaker 1: hindsight now maybe different during the experience, but now with hindsight,
- 22:39Speaker 1: what did you feel towards him, like when I saw
- 22:42Speaker 1: him walk out or just looking back on your time
- 22:45Speaker 1: on the show, was it was it as real as
- 22:48Speaker 1: you thought it was? Yeah, so you know, I really
- 22:53Speaker 1: did have I like word it a lot on the show,
- 22:56Speaker 1: but it was the way I described my feelings for
- 22:58Speaker 1: Zach was I had a really big crush on him,
- 23:00Speaker 1: and that's pretty much as far as we took it,
- 23:06Speaker 1: and watching it, you know, I felt very validated in
- 23:09Speaker 1: what I was feeling, because I mean I was seeing
- 23:13Speaker 1: myself fall for him, and um, that's what I felt
- 23:16Speaker 1: and that's what I remembered. So it definitely was like
- 23:20Speaker 1: a refresher. I think there was a part where, like
- 23:22Speaker 1: in the Bahamas, he said like just be strong and
- 23:25Speaker 1: like hold out like pretty much just not verbatim, but
- 23:29Speaker 1: it's kind of what he meant, and like it just
- 23:31Speaker 1: was like validating to know, like, yeah, what I felt
- 23:35Speaker 1: was real and it was reciprocated. And you know, although
- 23:38Speaker 1: the exit wasn't it did it felt very one sided,
- 23:42Speaker 1: like looking back, like I wasn't alone in the relationship
- 23:45Speaker 1: that we had, so watching it it definitely brought those
- 23:48Speaker 1: emotions of like validation but also just like oh that sucks,
- 23:51Speaker 1: like didn't work out, but like I think he's great
- 23:54Speaker 1: and I'm there was never any hard feelings and you know,
- 23:58Speaker 1: I wished him the best, but it was definitely hard
- 24:00Speaker 1: to watch it and be like, yeah, like I did
- 24:04Speaker 1: feel that, and you know it was real. There had
- 24:09Speaker 1: to have been a little hard feelings after you left
- 24:12Speaker 1: so abruptly after this argument, where like you guys just
- 24:15Speaker 1: didn't see eyed eye at all. And as an audience,
- 24:19Speaker 1: and I think you feel the audience response, we were
- 24:22Speaker 1: all like, Zack, how can you not see why she's upset?
- 24:26Speaker 1: It's very obvious. And as somebody who was on the show,
- 24:30Speaker 1: Ben and I talked about this, you know during that
- 24:33Speaker 1: episode that you left, where like, it really does take
- 24:36Speaker 1: a one on one for you to feel comfortable in
- 24:39Speaker 1: opening up, because if you start a serious conversation like
- 24:42Speaker 1: with ten fifteen minutes of one on one time on
- 24:45Speaker 1: a group date, it just doesn't feel appropriate. So was
- 24:49Speaker 1: there more to the conversation that we didn't see on TV? Yeah,
- 24:55Speaker 1: the conversation, so it kind of thundered around my nerves
- 24:58Speaker 1: with him and me not being comfortable, and that was
- 25:01Speaker 1: why my argument was I just needed time And I
- 25:04Speaker 1: addressed this literally night one, sitting with him on the
- 25:07Speaker 1: steps in front of the mansions, I was like, I
- 25:10Speaker 1: get nervous around men that I like, I it's something
- 25:13Speaker 1: I'm I'm not like I learned to love about myself,
- 25:16Speaker 1: and I'm like, I can't help it, but this is
- 25:18Speaker 1: who I am, and you know I can say and
- 25:20Speaker 1: i'm this is how I am. And he thought it
- 25:22Speaker 1: was cute, and I like he was just like, that's
- 25:24Speaker 1: so endearing. And so I never felt like there was
- 25:29Speaker 1: a reason to worry about it and like change who
- 25:32Speaker 1: I was because I thought he accepted it and it
- 25:34Speaker 1: was okay. And you know, all the women like we
- 25:37Speaker 1: get close, they knew about it and they comforted me
- 25:39Speaker 1: about it and they were like, that's what makes you
- 25:40Speaker 1: just like you have nothing to worry about. So I
- 25:43Speaker 1: was like, oh, okay. And then going into estonia, I
- 25:46Speaker 1: was like, something is off, Like I don't like he's
- 25:50Speaker 1: given me all this reassurance, but there's no actions following
- 25:53Speaker 1: the words that he's giving me, So like what what
- 25:55Speaker 1: could be the reason? And the back of my mind
- 25:57Speaker 1: it was like, is it my nerves? Is it? Might
- 25:59Speaker 1: like is is he seeing that as a red flag?
- 26:01Speaker 1: But also he's never told me, he's never mentioned that
- 26:04Speaker 1: as a red flag to me before, so that would
- 26:07Speaker 1: be very dishonest of him if that if he were
- 26:10Speaker 1: to bring that up now. So that's why I was confused,
- 26:15Speaker 1: and I think that's why the conversation, like we were
- 26:17Speaker 1: butting heads because I was like, if this was a problem, why,
- 26:22Speaker 1: Like I'm confused, Like that's you know, you thought that
- 26:25Speaker 1: that was endearing and you liked that about me up
- 26:27Speaker 1: until this point, And like if if he had told
- 26:30Speaker 1: me that sooner, what could have happened? And if you
- 26:34Speaker 1: knew that I'm nervous and I, you know, take a second,
- 26:37Speaker 1: why wouldn't you give me that time for me to
- 26:39Speaker 1: get comfortable. So it just was like, I'm confused. There's
- 26:42Speaker 1: a solution to this here. I don't understand. What's the confusion.
- 26:47Speaker 1: So yeah, but when you looked back, or even when
- 26:50Speaker 1: you're not looking back, even when you're sitting in the
- 26:52Speaker 1: back of like the dump vehicle, did you wonder if
- 26:57Speaker 1: I didn't bring that up tonight, would I still be Oh?
- 27:01Speaker 1: Of course I wonder that. Because so in the moment
- 27:05Speaker 1: when I got sent home, like in reality, not watching
- 27:07Speaker 1: it back when I came home, I was so confused,
- 27:10Speaker 1: Like explaining it to my family, I was like, I
- 27:11Speaker 1: don't I don't understand. And when I watched it back,
- 27:16Speaker 1: I was like, I think My biggest takeaway was he
- 27:20Speaker 1: was that upset, like there was no emotion when I
- 27:22Speaker 1: was talking to him. I thought I was in the
- 27:24Speaker 1: wrong for a while until the show aired and I
- 27:28Speaker 1: saw his reaction and I got to actually watch like
- 27:32Speaker 1: how he was speaking to me, in his facial expressions,
- 27:35Speaker 1: I was like, maybe I wasn't in the wrong. And
- 27:37Speaker 1: so it took me a while to kind of process
- 27:41Speaker 1: the situation because when you don't watch it back and
- 27:45Speaker 1: you're relying on your memory in a situation where you
- 27:47Speaker 1: were already anxious and nervous and feeling all these things,
- 27:50Speaker 1: you don't really remember clearly, and so on the hot
- 27:54Speaker 1: seat when I was watching it, and I that's why
- 27:57Speaker 1: I was like more smiling than crying, because I was like,
- 28:00Speaker 1: I was just proud of myself because I didn't remember
- 28:03Speaker 1: half of that, and you should be proud of yourself.
- 28:06Speaker 1: Your hand, you handle yourself so nicely. That scene. I
- 28:20Speaker 1: saw a meme last night. It was awesome. Maybe last
- 28:24Speaker 1: it said it had a picture of you standing there
- 28:27Speaker 1: talking to Zach and I said, how I can't I
- 28:31Speaker 1: forget the start of it, But pretty much the point was,
- 28:33Speaker 1: how in the world would this girl expect to get
- 28:36Speaker 1: a date on a dating show, like, like, why in
- 28:41Speaker 1: the world would she think that a date was should
- 28:43Speaker 1: be given to her on a dating show. I thought
- 28:46Speaker 1: it was so good, Like, yes, of course you wanted
- 28:48Speaker 1: a date. You know. It brings up the point we've
- 28:52Speaker 1: said it all season, and I know you listened to
- 28:54Speaker 1: our podcast every week, so you've probably heard it. But
- 28:59Speaker 1: you know, he said, I don't think Zach's a bad dude.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I don't think he's a bad bachelor. I think he's
- 29:04Speaker 1: there for the right reasons, and I think he really
- 29:06Speaker 1: wants to find love. I think the only critique, which
- 29:10Speaker 1: is again very minimal compared to most seasons that we watch,
- 29:13Speaker 1: we critique pretty heavily, is that it felt like he
- 29:16Speaker 1: just wasn't hearing some of the messages and words that
- 29:21Speaker 1: the women were communicating. And maybe their response, and I
- 29:24Speaker 1: want you to respond to this, Jess, would be that
- 29:27Speaker 1: he already knew that he was going to send these
- 29:30Speaker 1: people home before they voice their concerns, like maybe before
- 29:34Speaker 1: it even went into it and they voice their insecurities,
- 29:37Speaker 1: he just had bad luck, and as soon as they
- 29:39Speaker 1: opened their hearts up to him, he had already decided
- 29:42Speaker 1: they were going home. And so it just played out
- 29:44Speaker 1: terribly on television for him, or he really was not
- 29:48Speaker 1: hearing what you were saying. And you know when you
- 29:51Speaker 1: watched when we watch your moment back, what I was
- 29:54Speaker 1: hearing was this girl just wants to spend more time
- 29:57Speaker 1: with you. She really likes you, she's interested in you,
- 30:00Speaker 1: she just wants to get to know you better. And
- 30:01Speaker 1: she's like almost complimenting you by saying, I just I
- 30:04Speaker 1: just want to be around you more, which is a
- 30:06Speaker 1: great compliment. So Jess, knowing the concern or the critique
- 30:12Speaker 1: that people are giving Zach, knowing that you're in that situation,
- 30:15Speaker 1: one of the examples of that, what would you say?
- 30:20Speaker 1: You know? Honestly, I think it's a bit of both.
- 30:22Speaker 1: I think he you know, he has a good head
- 30:26Speaker 1: on his shoulders, so I think he has an idea
- 30:28Speaker 1: if this is his person or not, so regardless of
- 30:32Speaker 1: the conversation, if he's if he knows in his heart,
- 30:35Speaker 1: he's going to make that decision. However, I think there's
- 30:39Speaker 1: a factor in it of you know, he could he
- 30:42Speaker 1: could have worked on how he listens and how he
- 30:45Speaker 1: approaches conversations. You can still send someone home, but do
- 30:49Speaker 1: it in a you know, a caring and compassionate way.
- 30:55Speaker 1: But also it's hard to judge him when in his position,
- 30:59Speaker 1: Like how do you do that when someone is so
- 31:01Speaker 1: invested in you? Like, it's just it's a hard position
- 31:05Speaker 1: to be in. But um, you know, I obviously I'm
- 31:08Speaker 1: watching the show and I see how he handles some
- 31:10Speaker 1: conversations and he could have he could have easily done
- 31:13Speaker 1: it way better. And I'm sure he's watching it and
- 31:15Speaker 1: thinking the same thing. But you know, I think because
- 31:20Speaker 1: he has that good head on his shoulders, he knows, Okay,
- 31:23Speaker 1: I don't like this, like or not. I don't like
- 31:25Speaker 1: but this girl might not be my wife, my fiance,
- 31:28Speaker 1: so I'm going to send her home. This is awkward
- 31:31Speaker 1: that she's kind of venting to me about her life,
- 31:34Speaker 1: but kind of gotta do it. So Yeah, sometimes in
- 31:39Speaker 1: those conversations, I feel like he's lacking sensitivity. Do you agree? Um? Yes,
- 31:49Speaker 1: I mean I'm speaking on my position. I think, you know,
- 31:53Speaker 1: he even brought that up at Woman's till all that
- 31:55Speaker 1: he wasn't understanding my point, and I think it could
- 31:58Speaker 1: have been such an easy solution. There was a point
- 32:01Speaker 1: where I was like, I hear you, I hear what
- 32:03Speaker 1: you're saying, Like, can you hear what I'm saying? And
- 32:07Speaker 1: all he had to do was like, maybe I wasn't
- 32:10Speaker 1: articulating what I was saying. The best way I could
- 32:12Speaker 1: have stopped saying one on one probably yeah, But I mean,
- 32:16Speaker 1: you know, he could have also been like, well, what
- 32:18Speaker 1: do you mean by that? Let's figure it out, let's
- 32:20Speaker 1: come to an understanding. And he wasn't. He kind of
- 32:23Speaker 1: just in his head figured out or kind of came
- 32:27Speaker 1: up with an idea of what I'm trying to say
- 32:28Speaker 1: and then stuck with it instead of trying to dig
- 32:31Speaker 1: deeper into understand So, speaking for myself, I think he
- 32:35Speaker 1: could have been more sensitive, and I feel like his
- 32:38Speaker 1: apology kind of sounds like he would agree to that
- 32:41Speaker 1: as well. Let's jump in to the other couple of
- 32:45Speaker 1: hot seats that existed. Some of them celebratory charity, right,
- 32:50Speaker 1: some of them a little tougher like Greer. You know,
- 32:53Speaker 1: greer situation is interesting to me Ashley as a more
- 33:00Speaker 1: of a curiosity. I don't think there's anything wrong obviously
- 33:07Speaker 1: with Greer approaching um something that she did on social media.
- 33:11Speaker 1: You know, she defended a black face post that was
- 33:16Speaker 1: really you know, probably why she was in the hot seat.
- 33:19Speaker 1: It was most It was most of the conversation. I'm
- 33:24Speaker 1: intrigued at how this happened though for her and not
- 33:27Speaker 1: happening with Eric from last season, who was Gabby's choice
- 33:32Speaker 1: at the end. Well, I think it's obvious what happened here.
- 33:38Speaker 1: I think they got a lot of flack for not
- 33:40Speaker 1: addressing it with Eric when I was watching the scene
- 33:43Speaker 1: with Greer and having wondering, like trying to rack my
- 33:46Speaker 1: brain on whether or not they brought it up at all. Yeah.
- 33:50Speaker 1: So I can't say that they did it or not,
- 33:52Speaker 1: but I know that if they even did, it was
- 33:54Speaker 1: a small little blip on the radar. Yeah. Um, so
- 33:57Speaker 1: I think that that's why Jesse said, like, we're not
- 33:59Speaker 1: really good to address things like this on the show,
- 34:01Speaker 1: so we want to really make a point to do
- 34:03Speaker 1: so right now. Okay, So you think it was a
- 34:05Speaker 1: response like learning from mistakes previously, it was a response
- 34:10Speaker 1: to get better this time. That's fair, that's great. I
- 34:13Speaker 1: appreciate that insight. So, Jesse, you were in the room.
- 34:18Speaker 1: You you know Greer a lot better than we do
- 34:20Speaker 1: because we've never met her. What's your take on the situation? Um,
- 34:25Speaker 1: what's your take on the response from the other women
- 34:27Speaker 1: and from maybe even grew personally if you're able to
- 34:30Speaker 1: be around her. Yeah, So, I mean, that's a very
- 34:34Speaker 1: tough conversation to have, and it's even tougher for someone
- 34:38Speaker 1: to grow from it and be able to speak on it.
- 34:42Speaker 1: So I'm like, I've props to her for being able to,
- 34:46Speaker 1: you know, admit to her wrongs and speak on that.
- 34:48Speaker 1: And I think a lot of the women, you know,
- 34:52Speaker 1: we're really proud because, um, you know, I know that
- 34:56Speaker 1: she when it happened, when it came out, she wanted
- 35:00Speaker 1: to address it, and I think she made like an
- 35:03Speaker 1: Instagram story or something about it, which you know, she
- 35:06Speaker 1: did that on her own. And I respect that a
- 35:08Speaker 1: lot because I think a lot of times in this
- 35:11Speaker 1: franchise and just in general, people don't like to admit
- 35:15Speaker 1: when they're in the wrong and don't want to have
- 35:18Speaker 1: those uncomfortable conversations that bring a lot of controversy. And
- 35:23Speaker 1: for her to kind of want to write her wrongs
- 35:28Speaker 1: is very highly respectful and it was the right thing
- 35:30Speaker 1: to do. I'm really glad she got to address it.
- 35:34Speaker 1: I'm really glad that this franchise address that they're not
- 35:38Speaker 1: good at addressing this, and I think that speaks volume.
- 35:42Speaker 1: And I'm hoping that we can continue going towards that
- 35:46Speaker 1: direction of correcting each other and holding accountability for us.
- 35:50Speaker 1: But I thought Career, you know, spoke her truth and
- 35:54Speaker 1: did her best, and she is a great person at heart,
- 35:58Speaker 1: and you know, I know that that took a toll
- 36:01Speaker 1: on her, and um, so I I respect her for
- 36:05Speaker 1: being able to go up there because that's that's nerve racking,
- 36:07Speaker 1: and everything she was saying was coming from the heart
- 36:12Speaker 1: to what I to my understanding. So it's very well, Um,
- 36:16Speaker 1: that's really well put and just you know, a genuine response.
- 36:22Speaker 1: And and I'm glad that you and Ashley both pointed
- 36:24Speaker 1: out that the show acknowledged that they aren't good at
- 36:27Speaker 1: this and that they wanted to approach it. And so
- 36:31Speaker 1: I think with that, I say, well well done. Well
- 36:34Speaker 1: Kat sat in the hot seat, not a lot there
- 36:36Speaker 1: to discuss in depth. It felt like it was kind
- 36:38Speaker 1: of just a cyclical conversation um that had existed already
- 36:43Speaker 1: on the show, and there wasn't you know. The beauty
- 36:45Speaker 1: of that is that Kat now has a better relationship
- 36:47Speaker 1: with her mom, which is huge. So let's jump into charity.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Charity obviously a fan favorite, somebody just recently gone home,
- 36:56Speaker 1: somebody that's still close to the viewer's heart, somebody to
- 37:00Speaker 1: also celebrate. Jess, tell us about charity. What do you
- 37:04Speaker 1: know and see in charity? Charity is just a ball
- 37:08Speaker 1: at sunshine. She truly like what is so great about
- 37:11Speaker 1: her is she is just as kind and generous as
- 37:15Speaker 1: you see on the show as she is in person.
- 37:17Speaker 1: I remember in London, you know, she was going through
- 37:20Speaker 1: her own issues and she still took the time to
- 37:22Speaker 1: comfort career and I feel like that says a lot
- 37:25Speaker 1: about someone to take away you're what you're going through
- 37:29Speaker 1: to be there for someone, And I just like that's
- 37:33Speaker 1: in her nature. It's what she does her job, and
- 37:36Speaker 1: it's what she does with her friendships. And I respect her.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I think her being the boucherette is a phenomenal choice.
- 37:44Speaker 1: I sent over a devotional book for her to take
- 37:47Speaker 1: on her journey. She is a woman of faith and I,
- 37:51Speaker 1: you know, I'm excited for her. I she is so
- 37:53Speaker 1: deserving of love. And you know, it was heartbreaking to
- 37:58Speaker 1: watch her hometown episode. Me and my mom are both
- 38:01Speaker 1: going on the couch. Her family is so beautiful, and
- 38:04Speaker 1: you could just tell, like with the community that she
- 38:07Speaker 1: surrounds herself with, that she just is a very good person.
- 38:11Speaker 1: And you know, we need I mean, we've always had
- 38:15Speaker 1: good people as leads, but you know it's good to
- 38:17Speaker 1: continue to have someone that can speak so well, can
- 38:21Speaker 1: treat people so well. And you know, I think she's
- 38:25Speaker 1: learned a lot from this season with you know, how
- 38:28Speaker 1: Zach approached things, and I think she's going to be
- 38:30Speaker 1: able to take that and be in a phenomenal bat shot.
- 38:34Speaker 1: We've had mostly good leads, mostly nice leads. Season twenty
- 38:38Speaker 1: had some issues, but for the most part, we've had
- 38:40Speaker 1: some incredible people. That's a self deprecate I can't wait.
- 38:46Speaker 1: I can't wait to watch her. I'm so pumped because
- 38:48Speaker 1: I do I think, you know, being somebody of faith,
- 38:51Speaker 1: being somebody there for the right reasons, learning from not
- 38:55Speaker 1: the multitude of mistakes that Zach made. I don't think
- 38:58Speaker 1: there's like a plethora of things that he did wrong.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Yet I'm worried about what's so excited for next week?
- 39:05Speaker 1: I don't know, but I think it's she's just gonna
- 39:09Speaker 1: be an incredible bachelorette and h I'm ecstatic. I didn't
- 39:14Speaker 1: expect it shockingly, like I did not know she would
- 39:17Speaker 1: be named the lead, But I'm really glad you did.
- 39:21Speaker 1: I think all for the Top girls really are almost
- 39:24Speaker 1: equal in their running, and I think I would have
- 39:27Speaker 1: been equally as excited for any of them that were
- 39:29Speaker 1: crowned Bachelorette. Just do you think that that Charity was
- 39:35Speaker 1: really genuinely surprised when she was in that dressing room
- 39:37Speaker 1: and they brought the camera and Jesse in oh one
- 39:39Speaker 1: hundred percent, So where I was sitting, it was Charity
- 39:42Speaker 1: Brooklyn and then me and Jesse kept repeating like we
- 39:45Speaker 1: have a surprise for it's going to change a woman's life,
- 39:48Speaker 1: and yeah, we were kind of like looking around at
- 39:50Speaker 1: each other. I're looking at Charity because I was like,
- 39:53Speaker 1: they would be crazy not to, you know, offer it
- 39:56Speaker 1: to her. So I was like, do you know what's
- 39:58Speaker 1: going are you bout bachelrette? And she was like, they
- 40:00Speaker 1: didn't tell me anything. I don't know what's going on.
- 40:02Speaker 1: And she was like she literally goes, no, no way.
- 40:04Speaker 1: She's like, there's no way, and I was like, oh okay.
- 40:07Speaker 1: So we had no idea. So we were kind of
- 40:09Speaker 1: like trying to figure out what was going on, Like
- 40:11Speaker 1: I think I came up with the idea of like
- 40:13Speaker 1: maybe someone's gonna get chosen from the audience and gets
- 40:16Speaker 1: to like hang out with Zach. Like like I was like,
- 40:19Speaker 1: what is this because we all left, and you know,
- 40:22Speaker 1: Charity left with us, so I like, I didn't think anything.
- 40:26Speaker 1: I went into Pressed right after, so I didn't see
- 40:28Speaker 1: that they took her to a different room or anything,
- 40:30Speaker 1: but we were all walking towards the exit together. So
- 40:34Speaker 1: I was like surprised too watching it back, and you
- 40:37Speaker 1: know that was her genuine, humble reaction to it, and
- 40:42Speaker 1: you know you could tell she was like thinking, they're
- 40:44Speaker 1: playing a game, you know, and so that was really
- 40:48Speaker 1: cool to watch and special. Okay, well we want to
- 40:51Speaker 1: talk more to you, but before we wrap up the
- 40:53Speaker 1: Women Tell All episode, got to talk about bloopers. The
- 40:57Speaker 1: bloopers were on points. There have been years and years
- 41:01Speaker 1: now of disappointing bloopers. These ones really lived up and
- 41:06Speaker 1: it wasn't just the blooper real At the end, Jesse
- 41:09Speaker 1: also showed about three scenes and including that like twerking
- 41:14Speaker 1: scene so good. It really showed a lot of personality
- 41:18Speaker 1: with the girls, and that's the kind of footage that
- 41:21Speaker 1: people asked to see and they really delivered and showing
- 41:24Speaker 1: them during women's at all And I really I always
- 41:26Speaker 1: say it way too often, but if only they peppered
- 41:29Speaker 1: some of those scenes throughout, I agrees, people would get
- 41:34Speaker 1: so much more attached to these characters, really feel like
- 41:37Speaker 1: they get to know them better. Like that scene where
- 41:40Speaker 1: Zach thought that it was mold m o led wine
- 41:45Speaker 1: was amazing. I was sorry, mold wine, but it's actually
- 41:50Speaker 1: really good. Yeah, I agree. I feel like a lot
- 41:57Speaker 1: of the episodes they did kind of like the the credits,
- 42:01Speaker 1: they would show like little bloopers and stuff, which I
- 42:03Speaker 1: thought was funny. But I agree, like, you know, showing
- 42:06Speaker 1: our personalities more so people can kind of like relate
- 42:09Speaker 1: to us and kind of you know, form a special
- 42:13Speaker 1: bond with you know, the contestants and want to continue watching. Um.
- 42:18Speaker 1: But those bloopers were hilarious in the twerking scene, like
- 42:21Speaker 1: you just see me like breaking out, and I like
- 42:23Speaker 1: ran scion because I was like I cannot be a
- 42:26Speaker 1: part of this, like I will not. So I was
- 42:28Speaker 1: watching them do that and I was dying laughing and
- 42:31Speaker 1: they all did really really good. I was like, you
- 42:33Speaker 1: guys look great. Yeah, I know. I started squeezing my
- 42:36Speaker 1: butt cheeks back and forth. I was like, can I
- 42:38Speaker 1: do this? And then there's a tortillas slaps. Yeah. I
- 42:41Speaker 1: was on a plane. I was just going back and
- 42:42Speaker 1: forth a little bit. Yeah. Yeah, I didn't do it
- 42:47Speaker 1: up but maybe later. And then there was a cute
- 42:50Speaker 1: like tortilla slapping thing. All of them are very good
- 42:53Speaker 1: demonstrations of what we actually do to pass the time
- 42:55Speaker 1: when we have no phones, no TVs and all of that.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Then the tarantula, we must talk about. This tarantula was
- 43:04Speaker 1: that in the Bahamas? No, that was in the mansion
- 43:07Speaker 1: and well, I wait, no, I think I'm wrong. There
- 43:11Speaker 1: was something wrong and there was some bug that was
- 43:14Speaker 1: in the mansion. They didn't play it, but like we
- 43:16Speaker 1: were like all freaking out, and I think Mercedes was
- 43:19Speaker 1: the one that went and grabbed it. Um and I
- 43:22Speaker 1: don't grab a tarantula, and you don't call it a bug.
- 43:26Speaker 1: It wasn't a tarantula. It was like it was like
- 43:28Speaker 1: a really I kept saying, it was like an oversized ant.
- 43:30Speaker 1: It was like a really big ant. I don't know,
- 43:32Speaker 1: you have the Beatles, the big Beatle. I forget what
- 43:35Speaker 1: the kind of beatle like the like the floor, the
- 43:37Speaker 1: palm beetles or something like that. They're they're massive, they're
- 43:40Speaker 1: all over. I'm not familiar with California insects, but whatever
- 43:45Speaker 1: that was, I'm thankful it's not in Porta because it
- 43:48Speaker 1: was so so ginormous. Like, oh, that's not fun. Yeah,
- 43:53Speaker 1: I don't think they showed that. It's Uh, the mansion
- 43:57Speaker 1: is amazing. Is an amazing place. It's beautiful. It's luxuria
- 44:00Speaker 1: is that also has doors open all day long with
- 44:03Speaker 1: lights on inside, so you can imagine what that looks
- 44:05Speaker 1: like by the end of the day. Jess. To close
- 44:08Speaker 1: up here, final question for you again. We're gonna be
- 44:12Speaker 1: bringing Jess back for an end depth episode to get
- 44:14Speaker 1: to learn all about Jess because I have a feeling
- 44:17Speaker 1: we're gonna be watching more of Jess in the coming years,
- 44:20Speaker 1: which we're pumped about. But before we get there, Jess,
- 44:23Speaker 1: if you know what happens at the end, just say it.
- 44:25Speaker 1: I can't talk about it because I know what happens.
- 44:27Speaker 1: If you don't know what happens at the end, what's
- 44:29Speaker 1: your theory on what happens? And I'm not giving up
- 44:32Speaker 1: this tradition what happens during Fantasy Suite Week. I do
- 44:37Speaker 1: know what happens perfect, don't talk about it all right.
- 44:40Speaker 1: We'll be back next time with Jess doing an in
- 44:43Speaker 1: depth episode. Until then, I've been been, I've been, Ashley
- 44:47Speaker 1: and Jess. Who have you been, I've been, Jess. Yes.
