- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Let's get our show started.
- 2:34I'm really excited to bring to you actually a friend of mine,
- 2:37Tiffany Benson.
- 2:38SPEAKER_00: We actually used to work together at TPUSA.
- 2:42SPEAKER_00: I worked for the faith department.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: She was part of the main area.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: But she's led school board watch list projects since 2024.
- 2:49She founded RPR with a mission to awaken and empower everyday
- 2:52citizens who advocate
- 2:53SPEAKER_00: for excellence in K-12 education.
- 2:56SPEAKER_00: Tiffany, it is an absolute pleasure to see you again.
- 2:59SPEAKER_02: All right.
- 2:59SPEAKER_02: Good to see you too.
- 3:00Yeah and on my birthday too I didn't even announce that June
- 3:034th Happy birthday
- 3:04Thank you very much I'm wearing my Killdozer shirt Many of you
- 3:08know I talk about
- 3:09this a lot It's actually a libertarian holiday Killdozer It's
- 3:13also my birthday But
- 3:14SPEAKER_00: it's fun to have a friend on the show on my birthday Good
- 3:20SPEAKER_00: So you and I,
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: back when we worked at Turning Point,
- 3:23SPEAKER_00: we had the opportunity to actually teach a course together,
- 3:27SPEAKER_00: had a room full of people,
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: and we just really connected.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: We were able to play off each other really well.
- 3:32You were a little bit more serious getting the facts,
- 3:35and then my zaniness was coming through.
- 3:36SPEAKER_00: It was fun.
- 3:37SPEAKER_00: It was a lot of fun.
- 3:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I'm always about facts.
- 3:41SPEAKER_02: Facts can be fun, especially when they trigger people.
- 3:45SPEAKER_00: Well, you're definitely on the right show for triggering people.
- 3:48SPEAKER_00: Let's talk about restore parental rights in education.
- 3:51SPEAKER_00: It's such an important factor.
- 3:53You know,
- 3:54you know,
- 3:55just as well as I do,
- 3:56that pick your despot does not matter who it is.
- 3:59SPEAKER_00: Stalin, Hitler, Mao, it does not matter.
- 4:02SPEAKER_00: Every single one of them targeted the youth for very specific reasons.
- 4:05SPEAKER_00: And this is what's going on in America.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: Would you not agree?
- 4:09I do agree and it's increasing I think if you look at something
- 4:13like the anti-ice
- 4:15protests for example I mean that is a key example of what
- 4:20communism looks like this
- 4:21is the brainwashing and the emotionalism and the anger and
- 4:28lawlessness and they're
- 4:30being taught the children are being taught that this is how you
- 4:33handle a situation
- 4:34SPEAKER_02: that you disagree with whether you understand the situation or not so
- 4:38SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 4:39SPEAKER_00: What we see in education now,
- 4:41SPEAKER_00: we've moved away from the standard writing,
- 4:45SPEAKER_00: arithmetic,
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: that kind of,
- 4:46SPEAKER_00: and we're really pushing emotionalism in our schools.
- 4:51SPEAKER_00: How do you feel about this?
- 4:53SPEAKER_00: The Myth of Education Podcast
- 5:17SPEAKER_02: I myself,
- 5:18SPEAKER_02: when I was a little younger,
- 5:20SPEAKER_02: I fell for that same lie of if you get a degree,
- 5:24SPEAKER_02: then you'll get a better job.
- 5:28Our old boss wrote a book called College is a Scam and I know
- 5:31firsthand it depends
- 5:32on what you study but I think it's up to parents to definitely
- 5:36guide their children
- 5:37and do that research with them and help them understand if
- 5:40you're going to get a
- 5:41job in a certain field you should probably look into whether or
- 5:44not that employer
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: will cover your education that way you only get
- 5:48The Learning That You Need To Move Up In That Company Otherwise
- 5:52We Need People To
- 5:53Be Entrepreneurs To Create Products And Solutions For Problems
- 5:59That People Have In
- 6:00Everyday Life I Think That That Is More Rewarding A Technical
- 6:04Skill Become An
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: Electrician A Plumber You Know What I Mean I Think That That
- 6:09is the way forward with society is to be an everyday citizen
- 6:13who does pivotal things.
- 6:14SPEAKER_02: You don't have to be extraordinary, just be pivotal, be central, be key.
- 6:19And essentially public education is teaching people to be more
- 6:23about community and
- 6:25SPEAKER_02: less individual.
- 6:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 6:28SPEAKER_00: I say all the time on the show,
- 6:30I got my degree in history and I joke that it's amazing I'm not
- 6:33serving you coffee
- 6:34SPEAKER_00: right now.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: You know, people don't need to go to college.
- 6:38SPEAKER_00: There are certain jobs.
- 6:39SPEAKER_00: Like if you know that you want to become a doctor, okay?
- 6:42you're going to have to go through higher education through
- 6:45that but so many of
- 6:46them don't require this and then we get into some of these
- 6:50really ridiculous
- 6:50degrees like what are you going to do with a degree in
- 6:54underwater basket weaving as
- 6:56we used to say in the Marine Corps but there's a lot of really
- 6:58stupid degrees that
- 7:00SPEAKER_00: you can get that don't translate very well to the business world
- 7:05SPEAKER_02: Well,
- 7:05I think the lie that we've been sold as a society is that
- 7:09having that four-year
- 7:10SPEAKER_02: degree,
- 7:11SPEAKER_02: and I was real smart.
- 7:12SPEAKER_02: I went past that and got a master's.
- 7:15SPEAKER_02: But I think that,
- 7:16SPEAKER_02: again,
- 7:17that lie that we're being told is that more education is going
- 7:20to make you a better
- 7:21SPEAKER_02: citizen somehow.
- 7:23SPEAKER_02: It's going to make you more functional in different scenarios.
- 7:27SPEAKER_02: And essentially, it's very saturated.
- 7:29People that have bachelor's degrees and in certain fields,
- 7:32it is very saturated.
- 7:34and the competition is unbelievable and what you'll see now as
- 7:38you go into the
- 7:39workforce people are going to be looking for people who have a
- 7:43little more
- 7:45longevity or experience hands-on that they can show that
- 7:48they've been loyal to an
- 7:49employer or that they at least have a resume that indicates
- 7:55that they're serious
- 7:56about their career and that doesn't always include education I
- 7:59put my education on
- 8:00SPEAKER_02: the last page
- 8:01and sometimes I take my master's degree off because I think
- 8:04it's a bit pompous.
- 8:05I only put that on there if I want to compete for something
- 8:08that's high paying.
- 8:09SPEAKER_02: But I think by college though, parents have lost a lot of the influence.
- 8:14I think that's too late of an age to try to influence your
- 8:19children's future.
- 8:20SPEAKER_02: You have to start in kindergarten actually before that.
- 8:24SPEAKER_00: Oh, absolutely.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Pretty much as soon as you bring that child home from the hospital,
- 8:29SPEAKER_00: you are now educating that child.
- 8:31One of the things on your website here,
- 8:34and we'll show that for the audience,
- 8:35it's...
- 8:37SPEAKER_00: R-P-R-E-D-U dot org.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: You can see it right there, Restore Parental Rights in Education.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: One of the questions you have on here that I want to break down is,
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: how do I know my parental rights have been violated?
- 8:50SPEAKER_00: This is a question that kind of made me chuckle a little bit because,
- 8:53SPEAKER_00: honestly,
- 8:54SPEAKER_00: just open one eye and you'll be able to see that they are.
- 8:57SPEAKER_00: But explain this for the audience.
- 8:59SPEAKER_00: How do you know if your parental rights are being violated?
- 9:02SPEAKER_02: Well, the basic answer is to read the law.
- 9:07SPEAKER_02: You need to read the federal parental rights bill.
- 9:10SPEAKER_02: The parental rights bill is available to the public.
- 9:14SPEAKER_02: It's a real easy Google search.
- 9:16You also need to compare that to state statutes so that your
- 9:21legislators in your
- 9:22SPEAKER_02: state are abiding by the Constitution.
- 9:24SPEAKER_02: And then you also need to be reading your public school policies.
- 9:28So those things should be building on one another with the
- 9:32Constitution being the
- 9:33SPEAKER_02: highest rule of law.
- 9:35SPEAKER_02: And so...
- 9:49If those things are out of alignment I think that that is very
- 9:53easy to see If
- 9:55SPEAKER_02: you're paying attention You said just open one eye Well,
- 9:58parents need to open both eyes I think some of the ignorance of
- 10:03what's going on In
- 10:04K-12 education is willful at this point It's 2026 We've seen
- 10:09the rioting in the
- 10:10streets We've seen the girls fighting the boys To get them out
- 10:12of their bathrooms
- 10:13SPEAKER_02: And off their sports teams So,
- 10:16SPEAKER_02: parents,
- 10:16SPEAKER_02: you've been lied to About what's going on while you're at work
- 10:20SPEAKER_00: Oh, absolutely.
- 10:21That's actually one of the silver linings for COVID was
- 10:24actually that all the kids
- 10:26SPEAKER_00: went home and they were starting to see it.
- 10:28The parents were looking over the shoulder of their kids as
- 10:31they're on their
- 10:31SPEAKER_00: laptops and they're going,
- 10:32SPEAKER_00: wait,
- 10:33SPEAKER_00: this is your curriculum?
- 10:35And we actually saw a massive influx of homeschooling
- 10:39post-COVID because I think my
- 10:41SPEAKER_00: belief is because of that very fact.
- 10:43SPEAKER_02: Mm-hmm.
- 10:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I would agree with that.
- 10:46SPEAKER_02: And I believe that parents needed that wake up call.
- 10:49SPEAKER_02: That was the blessing of COVID.
- 10:51SPEAKER_02: I know it was a very tragic thing for some people.
- 10:55you know because there was some loss but ultimately the way
- 10:59that God uses things
- 11:01completely unconventional we're in the upside down he's in the
- 11:04right side of things
- 11:06so a little stranger things plug there but essentially parents
- 11:10needed that to
- 11:10happen so that they could see the truth and then now as I just
- 11:15said a moment ago
- 11:16SPEAKER_02: your ignorance is kind of willful
- 11:19SPEAKER_02: because you know if your child's behavior is changing,
- 11:22SPEAKER_02: their language is changing,
- 11:23they're challenging you on things that they once agreed with
- 11:26you on very easily.
- 11:27And I'm not saying that your child shouldn't become their own
- 11:29person as they hit
- 11:31SPEAKER_02: puberty,
- 11:31SPEAKER_02: as they grow,
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: those things will happen.
- 11:33SPEAKER_02: But as far as something like moral values,
- 11:36SPEAKER_02: Those are things that go pretty deep into us.
- 11:39SPEAKER_02: At an early age, a child learns right from wrong.
- 11:41So if you've got a child who's in a public education system and
- 11:45they're coming home
- 11:46and they're not necessarily just asking questions why we
- 11:48believe what we believe,
- 11:49SPEAKER_02: but they're actually challenging it and causing problems,
- 11:53SPEAKER_02: then that may be something to look at.
- 11:55Yeah absolutely I was actually just listening to my 13 year old
- 11:58son telling his
- 12:00friend why he should be a libertarian and I was like I'm
- 12:04listening in on this and
- 12:05I'm just like proud dad moment right here like this is awesome
- 12:09you know my kid
- 12:09isn't fighting me on you know transgenderism is a real thing no
- 12:13he's influencing
- 12:14SPEAKER_00: his friends on becoming a libertarian that's awesome Well
- 12:22SPEAKER_02: Libertarianism.
- 12:23SPEAKER_02: We talked about that, right?
- 12:24I'm trying to like,
- 12:26let me see,
- 12:26because I guess I consider myself a conservative.
- 12:29SPEAKER_02: I'm more of a Christian first before any of those other labels.
- 12:34And so I think a proud moment for me would be when my child
- 12:39tells me they led
- 12:40SPEAKER_02: somebody to Christ.
- 12:41I mean absolutely and definitely I am a Christian libertarian
- 12:45and my kids are being
- 12:46brought up in the church so yes that is definitely most
- 12:49important but still I think
- 12:51the point still stands here let me ask you this I think it's
- 12:55probably going to be a
- 12:56pretty obvious question with an obvious answer but as you're
- 13:00doing this work are
- 13:01there certain states that tend to violate parental rights more
- 13:04than others?
- 13:07SPEAKER_02: I mean they all do but yes but
- 13:11SPEAKER_02: Take Colorado for an example, and California.
- 13:16Those are some states that have some pretty messed up
- 13:21legislation on the books in
- 13:22SPEAKER_03: terms of what a child can be removed from a home for,
- 13:26for denying transgenderism or the child wanting to be called by
- 13:30a different
- 13:30SPEAKER_03: pronoun.
- 13:31SPEAKER_03: I mean,
- 13:32just some of the silliest things can get a child removed from
- 13:34their home in the
- 13:35SPEAKER_03: state of Colorado.
- 13:36SPEAKER_03: And then in California,
- 13:39I think parents are obviously still fighting the transgenderism
- 13:43in the sports.
- 13:44And then there's also these health clinics and abortion clinics
- 13:49and referrals and
- 13:50SPEAKER_03: things that can be made without parents knowing it.
- 13:53SPEAKER_03: And I'm here in Arizona.
- 13:55SPEAKER_03: Unfortunately,
- 13:56SPEAKER_03: in the last election cycle,
- 13:59SPEAKER_03: we passed,
- 14:00SPEAKER_03: I say we,
- 14:01SPEAKER_03: I voted against that garbage,
- 14:02SPEAKER_03: but it was called Proposition
- 14:06SPEAKER_03: 139.
- 14:06SPEAKER_03: And if you've ever read Psalm 139,
- 14:10SPEAKER_03: you know that somebody was diabolical by naming that proposition 139.
- 14:15SPEAKER_03: And basically we have abortion all the way up to birth here now.
- 14:20And we do not have it on the books in our legislation to notify
- 14:27parents when a
- 14:28SPEAKER_03: child may be presenting pregnant in a school district.
- 14:32Wow that is a shame and Arizona is really such a purple state
- 14:38in a lot of ways it
- 14:39seems you know it's constantly flipping red and blue so I'm
- 14:43actually not surprised
- 14:44but Tiffany I can't help notice but you run up California
- 14:48Colorado both blue states
- 14:51are you suggesting that the blue states might be a little worse
- 14:54off than the red
- 14:55SPEAKER_00: states?
- 14:56You definitely see less of a fight in some situations in the
- 15:01blue states for what's right.
- 15:03SPEAKER_02: I mean,
- 15:03I think there's some boldness that's coming out for the people
- 15:07who are not fleeing
- 15:09SPEAKER_02: to Arizona or Texas or Florida.
- 15:11SPEAKER_03: There is some pushback,
- 15:13but it is definitely an uphill battle when everyone in
- 15:17leadership is either a
- 15:18leftist or they're morally soft and they can't always be
- 15:22counted on when there's
- 15:24SPEAKER_03: controversy.
- 15:25SPEAKER_03: And then,
- 15:26SPEAKER_03: of course,
- 15:26SPEAKER_03: in some situations where it's the reddest in a place like California,
- 15:30SPEAKER_03: I mean,
- 15:30SPEAKER_03: there's only so much power you can have.
- 15:32SPEAKER_03: Your vote is just one vote.
- 15:33You need a majority and you need to be consistent and you need
- 15:38to win elections,
- 15:39SPEAKER_03: obviously,
- 15:39SPEAKER_03: to vote.
- 15:42SPEAKER_03: advance the good aspects of a conservative agenda.
- 15:47SPEAKER_00: Sure, absolutely.
- 15:49SPEAKER_00: One of the other questions you have on your website here is,
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: should I unenroll my student from public schools?
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: I'd love to hear your take on this.
- 15:59SPEAKER_02: Well, we have to be pro-school choice.
- 16:02SPEAKER_02: And so one of the choices for families is public schools.
- 16:07SPEAKER_02: I am friends with
- 16:08with a gentleman and actually he's my co-host on my podcast the
- 16:13myth of education
- 16:13podcast and his name is Dan and he's a public school parent but
- 16:17he's like the
- 16:19quintessential helicopter parent like he he read his teenage
- 16:25daughter's sex
- 16:26education curriculum before he would allow her to take the
- 16:28class that's above
- 16:30SPEAKER_03: average it shouldn't be but it is and um so
- 16:37SPEAKER_03: I mean,
- 16:37SPEAKER_03: at the end of the day,
- 16:38SPEAKER_03: these are the things that you need to be aware of,
- 16:41SPEAKER_03: okay,
- 16:41SPEAKER_03: in public education.
- 16:42SPEAKER_03: This is not a joke to the people who want to indoctrinate your children.
- 16:46SPEAKER_03: And so you have to know what you're up against.
- 16:50SPEAKER_03: Should you unenroll your children
- 16:51SPEAKER_03: and public schools, the short answer is yes, you absolutely should.
- 16:57SPEAKER_03: It's not education anymore.
- 16:59SPEAKER_03: I know people hear this all the time, but it is indoctrination.
- 17:02SPEAKER_03: Your children are not learning how to think or how to reason.
- 17:06SPEAKER_03: They're being taught what to think and how to feel about things.
- 17:10SPEAKER_03: And so the safest thing I think for parents to do
- 17:14is to pull their kids from the public education system unless
- 17:17you're willing to put
- 17:18SPEAKER_03: some part of your life on hold to show up for all of the events,
- 17:21SPEAKER_03: attend the board meetings,
- 17:23and if you were to homeschool or do private school or some
- 17:26other schooling for your
- 17:27SPEAKER_03: child,
- 17:28SPEAKER_03: you'd have to put part of your life on hold anyway.
- 17:30So I think that there is a bit of laziness that comes along
- 17:34with having your
- 17:35SPEAKER_03: children in public school.
- 17:36SPEAKER_03: Sorry,
- 17:36SPEAKER_03: parents,
- 17:37but you queue up at the beginning of the day and then you queue
- 17:40up at the end of
- 17:41SPEAKER_03: the day and you really think that
- 17:43Every single teacher and administrator has the best interests
- 17:47and your values in mind.
- 17:48SPEAKER_03: That's just not true.
- 17:50SPEAKER_00: Well said on that one.
- 17:52I was hoping you would actually say,
- 17:54yes,
- 17:54get your kids out of public school.
- 17:56SPEAKER_00: I use my platform here to tell parents all the time, get them out.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: You got to get them out.
- 18:01SPEAKER_00: If you understand not only what's going on currently in public education,
- 18:05but really the history of public education I talk about this a
- 18:08lot on the show you
- 18:09go back to the Prussian system that we're modeled off of you
- 18:12look at John Dewey and
- 18:13Horace Mann like the system isn't failing the system is
- 18:16actually doing exactly what
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: it was intended to do and a lot of
- 18:20It's a great school and if you want your kids to actually go
- 18:23out into the world and
- 18:24be successful and be Christian and not have their values
- 18:26questioned constantly then
- 18:49SPEAKER_00: It's time to get them out.
- 18:52SPEAKER_02: Well,
- 18:52there is one country where the type of factory line education
- 18:58that we have,
- 19:00SPEAKER_03: it works very well and their students excel in everything.
- 19:03SPEAKER_03: Can you guess which country that is?
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: Is that China?
- 19:06SPEAKER_03: It is our friends in China.
- 19:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 19:10but China is an atheistic communistic system and society and so
- 19:15predetermining a
- 19:16child's future based on their family's station in life and then
- 19:20subjecting the
- 19:21child to a one size fits all education I mean in a country like
- 19:25that where there's
- 19:25SPEAKER_03: no freedom and government is God it works I was just recently watching a
- 19:31documentary and I think it was called Death to Recess and I
- 19:34knew once that guy once
- 19:36SPEAKER_03: he went to China
- 19:37I just knew that he was going to be able to show how they were
- 19:40excelling and how
- 19:42this communist type of education system we have set up was
- 19:46going to work well.
- 19:47SPEAKER_03: Obviously he wasn't selling it as such,
- 19:50SPEAKER_03: but basically we not only need doctors,
- 19:53SPEAKER_03: lawyers,
- 19:54SPEAKER_03: engineers,
- 19:54SPEAKER_03: and people to build things here,
- 19:56SPEAKER_03: we also need entrepreneurs,
- 19:58SPEAKER_03: artists,
- 19:58SPEAKER_03: ministries.
- 20:00SPEAKER_03: A constitutional republic is built differently.
- 20:03And if we want to keep it,
- 20:04as one of the founders said,
- 20:05then parents have to take control
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: I 100% agree with that statement.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: And,
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: parents,
- 20:16SPEAKER_00: what Tiffany just said,
- 20:18you really need to pay attention to that because the model is
- 20:22working in communist
- 20:23SPEAKER_00: China.
- 20:25SPEAKER_00: It's the same model that's being applied in the United States.
- 20:29Now all of these elites,
- 20:31these globalists,
- 20:33they say that China is the model.
- 20:35SPEAKER_00: That's what they want for the whole world.
- 20:37SPEAKER_00: So our education system is mirroring what China's doing.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: That ought to make you think.
- 20:45SPEAKER_02: Well, okay.
- 20:47I broke down our learning environments here in the way that we
- 20:51nourish ourselves.
- 20:52SPEAKER_02: And you can tell me if you agree or disagree with this.
- 20:54SPEAKER_02: I put public schools in the fast food category.
- 20:57SPEAKER_03: Lowest quality, lowest health standards,
- 21:00It's on every major intersection and highway exit and it's the
- 21:04primary cause of
- 21:05SPEAKER_03: obesity,
- 21:05SPEAKER_03: malnutrition.
- 21:06SPEAKER_03: It's a health crisis.
- 21:08SPEAKER_03: Okay, our public schools are in a crisis.
- 21:11SPEAKER_03: The next stage I say is like your charter schools.
- 21:14SPEAKER_03: Okay, well that's your grocery
- 21:15SPEAKER_03: It's better than fast food, but it still has GMOs, dyes, chemicals.
- 21:19SPEAKER_03: You have to read labels.
- 21:21SPEAKER_03: And then you go to that level of private schools, Montessori's.
- 21:24SPEAKER_03: I liken this to farmer's markets.
- 21:27SPEAKER_03: It's not fast food.
- 21:28SPEAKER_03: It's better than groceries.
- 21:30you can look farmers in the eye you learn what chemicals and
- 21:32growth processes go
- 21:34into raising that food but the food is often a little
- 21:38overpriced or more expensive
- 21:40and the portions are smaller so you have to you know learn how
- 21:43to live like that
- 21:44and then I put like home schools micro schools those little
- 21:47communities I consider
- 21:49that to be the grow your own food this is that trusted network
- 21:53of farmers gardeners
- 21:54you create and you're creating your own industry at that point
- 21:58when it comes to
- 21:58SPEAKER_03: educating your children
- 22:00SPEAKER_03: Now,
- 22:01SPEAKER_03: the thing is,
- 22:01is that when you're in that home school or even that private
- 22:05school realm,
- 22:05you cannot take your eye off the ball of what's going on in
- 22:09public schools.
- 22:10SPEAKER_03: Your children have friends that are still in public schools.
- 22:14SPEAKER_03: The influence
- 22:15that's going to happen later in society is still largely coming
- 22:18from the pool of
- 22:19SPEAKER_03: graduates of public education.
- 22:21SPEAKER_03: So I'm very much pull your kids out.
- 22:24SPEAKER_03: But then when you pull your kids out of the public school system,
- 22:28SPEAKER_03: you now have leverage to go into that boardroom and say,
- 22:31this is how it's going to be because my tax dollars are still
- 22:34coming into this
- 22:35SPEAKER_03: system.
- 22:36SPEAKER_00: I gotta tell you, I absolutely love that analogy.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: I've never heard anybody say it that way,
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: but taking,
- 22:43SPEAKER_00: especially the public school with fast food,
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: I mean,
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: it's so easy.
- 22:47SPEAKER_00: They're on every single corner, right?
- 22:49SPEAKER_00: It's cheap.
- 22:50You know,
- 22:51you can get a quick fix right away with really,
- 22:55it's not a hassle to you whatsoever.
- 22:58SPEAKER_00: That is fast food.
- 22:59SPEAKER_00: That is public education.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: That is spot on.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: Hats off to you for coming up with that.
- 23:05I don't know if I came up with a lot of wisdom over the years
- 23:09and talking to a lot
- 23:11of parents who went the cheap easy route and then by the time
- 23:15their kid graduates
- 23:16SPEAKER_02: they are not understanding why their child can't read.
- 23:20SPEAKER_00: Go figure, right?
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: I mean, I've seen this.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: I've seen this,
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: sadly enough,
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: with people I know,
- 23:26SPEAKER_00: where my daughter,
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 23:28SPEAKER_00: same age,
- 23:29SPEAKER_00: and she's over there reading the classics at nine years old,
- 23:33SPEAKER_00: and I see another nine-year-old that's in
- 23:36SPEAKER_00: and she's still struggling with putting sentences together.
- 23:41SPEAKER_00: Do you want that for your kid?
- 23:42I mean,
- 23:43every single parent,
- 23:44Tiffany,
- 23:45wants the absolute best things for their children.
- 23:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah,
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: sure,
- 23:48SPEAKER_00: there's some outliers,
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: sociopaths,
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: and things like that,
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: but generally speaking,
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: every parent wants the absolute best.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: They want them to succeed.
- 23:56SPEAKER_00: They will sacrifice themselves in order to uplift their child,
- 24:00SPEAKER_00: and yet they're still sending them to the public education system.
- 24:03SPEAKER_00: It's sad to me.
- 24:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think because of the convenience of it.
- 24:08SPEAKER_03: But here's the thing,
- 24:09SPEAKER_03: because there's a lot of parents who want to jump from public straight to
- 24:13SPEAKER_03: homeschool.
- 24:14And I understand that desperation,
- 24:16but that you might have to take incremental steps.
- 24:19SPEAKER_03: And the thing is,
- 24:20is that when you think about homeschooling or privately
- 24:23educating your child,
- 24:25SPEAKER_03: I don't want parents to see themselves always sitting at a kitchen table,
- 24:28SPEAKER_03: having to give up their careers and their jobs to be able to do that.
- 24:31SPEAKER_03: Any moment,
- 24:33SPEAKER_03: it can be an educational moment,
- 24:34SPEAKER_03: just like any moment with your child can be a bonding moment.
- 24:37SPEAKER_03: As you're driving down the street,
- 24:40SPEAKER_03: say the Pledge of Allegiance as you're just driving in the car.
- 24:43I mean,
- 24:43make it an educational moment every time,
- 24:45every opportunity that you can.
- 24:47SPEAKER_03: Your child is spending seven,
- 24:48eight hours a day in public schools and they're learning for an
- 24:52hour until the bell
- 24:53SPEAKER_03: rings or something.
- 24:55SPEAKER_03: And you can be teaching your child all day long.
- 24:57SPEAKER_00: And the kids are bored to tears.
- 24:59SPEAKER_00: You can watch these kids.
- 25:01SPEAKER_00: There's one teacher,
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: and the classrooms are overcrowded,
- 25:05and that one teacher is trying to give five minutes of
- 25:08individual instruction time
- 25:10SPEAKER_00: to that student.
- 25:11SPEAKER_00: Many of them are bored.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: They're not excelling.
- 25:13SPEAKER_00: They're not being challenged.
- 25:15And returning back to my own kids,
- 25:18they're in a classical Christian curriculum school.
- 25:21It's amazing and they're challenged and they're coming back and
- 25:23they're telling me
- 25:24things I'm learning things from my own kids I'm a victim of
- 25:28California public
- 25:29education system I always joke it's amazing I don't drool on
- 25:31myself but still I
- 25:33love the fact that my kids are teaching me while I'm teaching
- 25:37them It's the best of
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: both worlds ladies and gentlemen
- 25:41Well hats off to you for not continuing that tradition of
- 25:44public education and
- 25:45let's be real it's a tradition at this point and that we have a
- 25:49lot of traditions
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: as Americans that have no value and no meaning but we just continue
- 25:56SPEAKER_00: You've absolutely nailed it, Tiffany.
- 25:58SPEAKER_00: I want you to address something because I hear this a lot from parents.
- 26:02SPEAKER_00: I went to this school.
- 26:03SPEAKER_00: My parents went to this school.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: It's a great school.
- 26:06SPEAKER_00: I know this school.
- 26:07SPEAKER_00: I had so much fun and I turned out just fine.
- 26:10SPEAKER_00: So I want my kids to be a part of this.
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: It's almost like a legacy or tradition as you just said.
- 26:15SPEAKER_00: What would you say to a parent like that?
- 26:18I have a friend who is a parent like that she went through the
- 26:21school system that
- 26:22SPEAKER_02: we're in four of her kids went through
- 26:26the same school system,
- 26:28but then she has a little one who is on the autism spectrum.
- 26:33SPEAKER_03: And she got into a fight,
- 26:36SPEAKER_03: not a physical fight,
- 26:37but these back and forth altercations with the public school
- 26:40district because what
- 26:42SPEAKER_03: she did wrong,
- 26:43what we figured out what she did wrong is she let that school
- 26:46district test her
- 26:47SPEAKER_03: child.
- 26:48SPEAKER_03: Cognitively.
- 26:49SPEAKER_03: And they told her that her child didn't need any additional assistance.
- 26:53SPEAKER_03: They weren't going to give her that aid that she needed for her classes.
- 26:57SPEAKER_02: And I said,
- 26:59SPEAKER_02: the school district that you went to,
- 27:01SPEAKER_02: that you went through and that your older kids went through,
- 27:04SPEAKER_03: it's not the same school district.
- 27:05What you did wrong is you should never let a school district
- 27:08test your kid.
- 27:09SPEAKER_03: No thanks.
- 27:10SPEAKER_03: I'm good.
- 27:11SPEAKER_03: We have a pediatrician.
- 27:12SPEAKER_03: We have a specialist.
- 27:13SPEAKER_03: I will bring you the diagnosis and tell you what my child needs.
- 27:17SPEAKER_03: So she did that backwards, unfortunately.
- 27:21SPEAKER_03: But essentially, it was kind of a hard break for her.
- 27:24SPEAKER_03: And now her child is excelling.
- 27:26I think she did a micro school thing and is in some sort of
- 27:29private education setting.
- 27:31SPEAKER_03: getting the help she needs.
- 27:32SPEAKER_03: I think that her child is a genius.
- 27:34SPEAKER_03: A lot of people kind of on that autism spectrum, they are.
- 27:38SPEAKER_03: Honestly,
- 27:38her child didn't have enough unique needs to where the district
- 27:43could make money
- 27:44SPEAKER_03: off her kid.
- 27:45SPEAKER_03: And essentially, that's what I think that the problem was.
- 27:49SPEAKER_03: And I do want to say this for parents who are Christians,
- 27:55SPEAKER_03: and whether you're a Christian or you have no religion,
- 27:57SPEAKER_03: there is a dominant religion
- 27:59SPEAKER_03: in public schools, and that is secular humanism.
- 28:01SPEAKER_03: I don't know if we were going to go into that at one point,
- 28:04SPEAKER_02: but that is protected by the Constitution as a First Amendment.
- 28:09SPEAKER_02: It is observed.
- 28:10SPEAKER_02: There are court cases documenting this, and the
- 28:14SPEAKER_03: Secular humanism is not absent of morality.
- 28:17SPEAKER_03: It teaches morals.
- 28:18SPEAKER_03: It teaches evolutionary theory.
- 28:20SPEAKER_03: That's their cover.
- 28:22Tiffany,
- 28:22let me pause you real quick because we're coming up on a hard
- 28:24break.
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: So we are going to come back.
- 28:26We're going to talk about this,
- 28:27ladies and gentlemen,
- 28:28the religion in schools.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: Stand Up Now Apparel is the best t-shirt
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: The Myth of Education Podcast

- 29:58SPEAKER_00: It assists in everything that you see in your host.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: And I love Hunter's Blend coffee.
- 30:04SPEAKER_00: These guys are patriots.

- 30:42to my guest Tiffany Benson personal friend and just a warrior
- 30:46in restoring parental
- 30:47rights in education and Tiffany I hated to cut you off but
- 30:50we're talking about the
- 30:51religion in public education and you said it's really secular
- 30:55humanism and that is
- 30:56a religion and they have their own priests they have their own
- 31:00bible and they are
- 31:02SPEAKER_00: grabbing your kids as fast as they possibly can please continue
- 31:07Well,
- 31:07I wrote this article,
- 31:09and you can read it on my substack,
- 31:11parentspayattention.com.
- 31:13The article is titled,
- 31:14No God,
- 31:15No Prayer,
- 31:16But This Religion Is Thriving in Public Schools.
- 31:19SPEAKER_03: And I talk about the immoral and unethical
- 31:22SPEAKER_03: dogma that students are learning.
- 31:24SPEAKER_03: So for example, evolutionary theory has been taught for a lot of years.
- 31:30SPEAKER_03: It would be fine if it was just taught as a theory,
- 31:32but it is taught as truth and it bumps directly up against the
- 31:36creation story.
- 31:38and basically renders us as just evolving over millions of
- 31:42years with no soul,
- 31:43no purpose.
- 31:44SPEAKER_03: Social studies, right?
- 31:46SPEAKER_03: That's secular.
- 31:48We need to be learning civics and how to be a functioning
- 31:52citizen of our country as
- 31:53SPEAKER_03: opposed to being taught,
- 31:56SPEAKER_03: you know,
- 31:57SPEAKER_03: Communistic things.
- 31:59SPEAKER_03: Labeling our country a democracy, like a pure democracy.
- 32:03SPEAKER_03: That is what social studies has gotten us.
- 32:05SPEAKER_03: We are not a democracy.
- 32:07SPEAKER_03: We've never been that.
- 32:09SPEAKER_03: Ethnic studies, that's secularism.
- 32:12Essentially,
- 32:12that's where you get your critical race theory and your DEIs
- 32:16creeping in.
- 32:17SPEAKER_03: Those are all secular ethics and morals.
- 32:19SPEAKER_03: And then, of course, we've got secular human sexuality.
- 32:23SPEAKER_03: What month are we in?
- 32:24SPEAKER_03: We're
- 32:25There's going to be rainbow flags flying and,
- 32:28of course,
- 32:29social emotional learning,
- 32:31right?
- 32:31SPEAKER_03: This is restorative justice and,
- 32:33SPEAKER_03: you know,
- 32:34SPEAKER_03: you can assault someone and just say you're sorry and that's good enough.
- 32:37These are the silly things that having a religion that teaches
- 32:40you that man is God,
- 32:42SPEAKER_03: this is what you're going to come up with.
- 32:46SPEAKER_00: You don't paint a very pretty picture there, Tiffany, I gotta tell you.
- 32:49SPEAKER_00: Everything you just covered,
- 32:51SPEAKER_00: I hope my audience,
- 32:52SPEAKER_00: especially those who have their kids in public education,
- 32:55SPEAKER_00: were horrified by what you just said.
- 32:57SPEAKER_00: And perhaps that's the start.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: You gotta look.
- 33:00SPEAKER_00: You gotta look.
- 33:01SPEAKER_00: Yeah
- 33:30SPEAKER_03: And even the good teachers,
- 33:31SPEAKER_03: quote unquote,
- 33:33they're expected to teach this stuff and they're expected to
- 33:36test the children's
- 33:37SPEAKER_03: knowledge on it.
- 33:40Christians,
- 33:41Christian educators,
- 33:43their hands are tied because they allow it.
- 33:46We have a constitution that protects your freedom of speech,
- 33:49even on school grounds.
- 33:51You just,
- 33:51you know,
- 33:51you have to be careful about proselytizing,
- 33:54but you can wear a cross.
- 33:55SPEAKER_03: You can talk about Christ.
- 33:56SPEAKER_03: If someone can
- 33:58SPEAKER_03: If you want to wave a rainbow flag on school grounds,
- 34:00then you need to put up an American flag and you need to talk
- 34:04about the Ten
- 34:05SPEAKER_03: Commandments alongside the Constitution because the Bible,
- 34:09SPEAKER_03: for all intents and purposes in the education space,
- 34:12SPEAKER_03: it's also a historical book.
- 34:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it absolutely is.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: One that's been proven over and over and over again.
- 34:18I wanted to return to something that we were talking about with
- 34:21parents who have
- 34:23SPEAKER_00: that legacy mindset as far as the public school that they went to.
- 34:27SPEAKER_00: And I want to talk a little bit about incrementalism because
- 34:29SPEAKER_00: because the powers that be are very, very wise.
- 34:33SPEAKER_00: Well, in an evil way.
- 34:36SPEAKER_00: Maybe I should say they're knowledgeable.
- 34:38And they knew that if they immediately just went for all out,
- 34:44like all in,
- 34:44SPEAKER_00: Oh man, what an evil guy.
- 35:12SPEAKER_02: through the institutions.
- 35:14The institutions also included our seminaries,
- 35:16but I guess that's a topic for another time.
- 35:18SPEAKER_03: But it's kind of that boiling frog thing.
- 35:21SPEAKER_03: That's what we have going on here, is that slowly over time,
- 35:26SPEAKER_03: And if you want to point to a starting place,
- 35:29we'll go okay with the 60s when there were lawsuits coming
- 35:32against forcing kids,
- 35:34SPEAKER_03: forcing quotes,
- 35:36to say a non-denominational prayer at some point in the school
- 35:39day or saying the
- 35:41SPEAKER_03: Pledge of Allegiance,
- 35:42SPEAKER_03: removing Bibles,
- 35:43SPEAKER_03: removing God.
- 35:44SPEAKER_03: And then from now,
- 35:46we've escalated all the way to the point now where maybe 40% of
- 35:52fourth graders are
- 35:53SPEAKER_03: on reading level and less than a quarter of eighth graders can do math.
- 35:59SPEAKER_03: And then we've also got these statistics now that say 10 to 12%,
- 36:03SPEAKER_03: which is about 5 to 7 million kids,
- 36:06SPEAKER_03: that's a low number to me,
- 36:07will be sexually harassed or assaulted by a district employee
- 36:10by the time they
- 36:11SPEAKER_03: graduate high school.
- 36:12SPEAKER_03: This is what public school is producing.
- 36:16Genderless victims,
- 36:19godless and lawlessness is what is abounding through a system
- 36:23like that.
- 36:25SPEAKER_00: You know, it doesn't give me a lot of hope.
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: If we allow this to continue,
- 36:31SPEAKER_00: I should say,
- 36:32SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 36:32SPEAKER_00: we're currently under,
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: make America great again.
- 36:35And how can America continue to be great if our kids are
- 36:40brought up in this system?
- 36:42Like when I look to the future and I look at the kids that are
- 36:45currently in public
- 36:46SPEAKER_00: education,
- 36:47SPEAKER_00: and these are our future leaders in business and politics and religion,
- 36:51SPEAKER_00: if they're being taught this kind of stuff,
- 36:54without any pushback,
- 36:57I don't know if we make it too much longer beyond 250 years.
- 37:02Well,
- 37:02I mean,
- 37:03we read the book,
- 37:04and so things are going to get worse before they get better.
- 37:07SPEAKER_03: But here's the verse that I know a lot of people are aware of, right?
- 37:10SPEAKER_03: Proverbs 22,
- 37:11SPEAKER_03: 6,
- 37:11SPEAKER_03: train up a child in the way they should go,
- 37:14SPEAKER_03: and when they're old,
- 37:15SPEAKER_03: they won't depart from it.
- 37:17SPEAKER_03: You don't want to just isolate that verse.
- 37:19SPEAKER_03: You want to read the whole Bible.
- 37:20SPEAKER_03: I tell Christians all the time, read the whole Bible.
- 37:23SPEAKER_03: But the common mistake that parents make
- 37:26after hearing or reading a verse like that is that they think
- 37:29that God is talking
- 37:30SPEAKER_03: about keeping them in church.
- 37:32God is not talking about Sunday morning,
- 37:34Wednesday night,
- 37:35and then summer camp.
- 37:36He is talking about stewarding a soul from the moment a woman
- 37:41finds out that she is pregnant.
- 37:42SPEAKER_03: From the moment the strip turns blue, you're a mother, you're a dad.
- 37:47SPEAKER_03: And so from that point forward,
- 37:49you have to start setting your life in a motion where you are
- 37:51going to pass along.
- 37:52SPEAKER_03: This is not a tradition, but this is legacy, heritage,
- 37:57that God is going to be the center of your life,
- 37:59and that includes education.
- 38:02SPEAKER_03: And so Proverbs 22,
- 38:03SPEAKER_03: 6 is not written for parents to abdicate their parental rights or their
- 38:09SPEAKER_03: responsibilities or authority to someone else.
- 38:12SPEAKER_03: I believe that if your child falls by the wayside,
- 38:16SPEAKER_03: as far as morally and training them in that way,
- 38:19SPEAKER_03: the Lord will hold you accountable for that.
- 38:21SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 38:22SPEAKER_00: And that's kind of a scary thought, to be quite honest.
- 38:26SPEAKER_00: It should be a check to every single parent.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: You know, when you put, I don't even want to say it this way.
- 38:33SPEAKER_00: I'm trying to put my words together here.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: When Christ is the center of your life,
- 38:37When you recognize fully I am a servant of the master and that
- 38:42master is Jesus
- 38:42Christ it puts everything in perspective and as long as you are
- 38:46obeying the master
- 38:49SPEAKER_00: you don't have to necessarily worry as much about
- 38:52SPEAKER_00: You know,
- 38:52SPEAKER_00: education,
- 38:53SPEAKER_00: politics,
- 38:53SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 38:53SPEAKER_00: almost kind of laugh a little bit about it because,
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: hey,
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: he is king.
- 38:57SPEAKER_00: He is in control.
- 38:58SPEAKER_00: He is the ultimate and powerful authority.
- 39:01SPEAKER_00: And I want Christians to recognize that,
- 39:04SPEAKER_00: operate under that premise,
- 39:06SPEAKER_00: and then just exit the systems that are in violation of the true master.
- 39:12SPEAKER_02: Well, in order to obey God, you have to read scripture.
- 39:17I want to encourage those who identify as Christians to stop
- 39:20going around trying to
- 39:21SPEAKER_03: be good people,
- 39:22stop trying to be nice and actually just read the Bible and
- 39:26then put into practice
- 39:27SPEAKER_03: what it says.
- 39:28SPEAKER_03: And you do that by faith.
- 39:30SPEAKER_03: Put your faith before your works because you're not saved by your works.
- 39:33SPEAKER_03: And so at the end of the day, the expectation is
- 39:37SPEAKER_03: that God has and His standards, they are very high.
- 39:41SPEAKER_03: The only person that could fulfill that was Jesus Christ.
- 39:45So if you put your faith in Him and you follow Him and you're
- 39:47reading His Word,
- 39:48SPEAKER_03: He's not just a good teacher,
- 39:49SPEAKER_03: but He's Savior,
- 39:50SPEAKER_03: Lord,
- 39:51SPEAKER_03: Master,
- 39:51SPEAKER_03: all the things,
- 39:52SPEAKER_03: you will,
- 39:53SPEAKER_03: by grace,
- 39:54SPEAKER_03: fulfill the law and the requirements that God has,
- 39:56SPEAKER_03: and He'll bless your posterity for that.
- 40:00SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 40:00I mean,
- 40:01Christians need to come to this point where we're okay with
- 40:04being the outsiders.
- 40:05SPEAKER_00: And we are, ladies and gentlemen, we're outside of this world.
- 40:08You know,
- 40:09you look at Jesus and the disciples,
- 40:11you know,
- 40:12Jesus is not literally,
- 40:14but backhand
- 40:14SPEAKER_00: I am definitely a John the Baptist type
- 40:39SPEAKER_00: Without a doubt.
- 40:40SPEAKER_00: And that's how we should be.
- 40:42SPEAKER_00: And these are the people who make a mark.
- 40:43SPEAKER_00: And I got to celebrate with you, Tiffany.
- 40:47SPEAKER_00: You're making a mark.
- 40:48SPEAKER_00: You've worked for Turning Point.
- 40:50You've gone out and now you are tackling this very,
- 40:53very important subject.
- 40:54And that's the people who make a difference That's the people
- 40:57that I want to be
- 40:57SPEAKER_00: surrounded by People who say,
- 41:00the world is a terrible place And I am not a good person The
- 41:03only thing that makes
- 41:04SPEAKER_00: me good is that Christ is inside me But I'm going to go,
- 41:08I'm going to go fight I'm going to go tackle this area that I'm
- 41:11very passionate
- 41:12about And try to make a difference in the world for Christ
- 41:15That's the kind of
- 41:16SPEAKER_00: people that I want to be friends with
- 41:19SPEAKER_02: I appreciate that.
- 41:20SPEAKER_02: I just want to encourage parents to get your mind renewed.
- 41:25SPEAKER_02: You do that by reading the Word of God,
- 41:26but you need to get your mind renewed and look at the world
- 41:29from a spiritual
- 41:31perspective because that is the warfare that your kids are
- 41:35going up against in
- 41:35SPEAKER_02: public schools.
- 41:36SPEAKER_02: It is spiritual warfare.
- 41:38SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 41:38SPEAKER_00: And if you want to steward your children well,
- 41:40SPEAKER_00: and I know this is a little bit off subject,
- 41:42SPEAKER_00: but I just got to throw it in here.
- 41:45SPEAKER_00: Parents, take a hard look at your church.
- 41:48SPEAKER_00: If your church is one that is going along to get along,
- 41:51and I'm not even talking about the ones that currently have
- 41:54rainbow flags outside
- 41:55SPEAKER_00: of their church,
- 41:56SPEAKER_00: that's not a church,
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: okay?
- 41:57SPEAKER_00: Nope, don't go in there, okay?
- 41:59SPEAKER_00: But if your church is just going along to get along,
- 42:01SPEAKER_00: if it's kind of the,
- 42:02SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 42:03SPEAKER_00: pastors wearing the skinny jeans and,
- 42:05SPEAKER_00: you know,
- 42:05SPEAKER_00: they got the fog machines and all that kind of stuff,
- 42:07SPEAKER_00: maybe take a hard look at that.
- 42:09SPEAKER_00: Is Scripture actually being read and taught in your church?
- 42:12SPEAKER_00: Tiffany, you think I'm right?
- 42:15SPEAKER_02: You're 100% right.
- 42:17SPEAKER_02: I am part of a movement that is having a lot of exposure right now.
- 42:22SPEAKER_02: And so I love my Pentecostal charismatic people,
- 42:25SPEAKER_03: but we need to take a hard look at all of these prophets.
- 42:29and the prophets who are supposedly leading this movement
- 42:32because it's going downhill fast.
- 42:34God is disciplining those who have been lying on the Holy
- 42:38Spirit for all these
- 42:39SPEAKER_03: years and giving to get blessed.
- 42:41And I mean,
- 42:42if you want to go down that road,
- 42:43Caleb,
- 42:44I'll go down that road with you
- 42:47The American church model,
- 42:49just like the American school district model,
- 42:51it's not working.
- 42:53SPEAKER_03: It's not what God said he wanted.
- 42:55SPEAKER_03: That's not the house that he said he wanted us to build.
- 42:58SPEAKER_03: He said that we are the house and the Holy Spirit is in us.
- 43:01SPEAKER_03: So we need to be about his business and not about our own business.
- 43:05SPEAKER_00: You are preaching to the choir right here.
- 43:07SPEAKER_00: I've been very open with my audience.
- 43:10SPEAKER_00: I went from the Pentecostal non-denominational and I became a Lutheran,
- 43:15SPEAKER_00: the good kind,
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: LCMS,
- 43:16SPEAKER_00: not the bad kind.
- 43:17SPEAKER_00: But I needed that.
- 43:19SPEAKER_00: And I think most
- 43:20SPEAKER_00: Yes, I mean, and if you
- 43:45SPEAKER_02: If you read the book of Acts,
- 43:46SPEAKER_02: which of course Pentecostal people are,
- 43:49SPEAKER_02: that's their favorite book.
- 43:50SPEAKER_03: It's my favorite book.
- 43:51SPEAKER_03: But the thing of it is,
- 43:53SPEAKER_03: is what was powerful about Peter,
- 43:54SPEAKER_03: what was powerful about Paul,
- 43:56SPEAKER_03: John,
- 43:56SPEAKER_03: all of them,
- 43:57SPEAKER_03: is that they knew the scriptures.
- 43:59SPEAKER_03: You know,
- 43:59SPEAKER_03: there's that brief passage in there about the Berean Christians,
- 44:02SPEAKER_03: everything that the apostles came to them with,
- 44:04SPEAKER_03: they searched the scriptures.
- 44:06SPEAKER_03: And so if you really want to be a powerful author,
- 44:09SPEAKER_03: of man or woman of God.
- 44:11SPEAKER_03: You need to be strong in the word.
- 44:13SPEAKER_03: You don't have to be strong in dreams and prophecy.
- 44:16SPEAKER_03: Those things are gifts.
- 44:18SPEAKER_03: The Holy Spirit is the one who gives those gifts,
- 44:22but we should all be able to at some point teach others what we
- 44:26know and to be able
- 44:27SPEAKER_03: to evangelize and defend our faith.
- 44:30SPEAKER_03: Parents have to teach children how to defend their faith.
- 44:33SPEAKER_03: Apologetics should just be a way of life.
- 44:36SPEAKER_00: Amen, amen.
- 44:38Well,
- 44:38it sounds like,
- 44:38Tiffany,
- 44:39that you're saying the solution for all of this is Christ.
- 44:43SPEAKER_00: I'm pretty sure that's what you just said.
- 44:46SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 44:48SPEAKER_02: He's always the solution.
- 44:49SPEAKER_00: Amen.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 44:50SPEAKER_00: All right.
- 44:51SPEAKER_00: Well,
- 44:51SPEAKER_00: we've come to the end of the episode here,
- 44:54SPEAKER_00: but I want to take the time to send everybody to the website again.
- 44:57SPEAKER_00: Chris is going to bring that up for us.
- 44:58SPEAKER_00: Restore parental rights and education.

- 45:31SPEAKER_03: Some of it's political, some of it's religious.
- 45:34SPEAKER_03: It's a mix of everything.
- 45:36SPEAKER_03: But I mean, you should be able to follow me
- 45:39and my organization and the work that I'm doing and get an
- 45:43understanding of what's
- 45:45SPEAKER_03: going on in public schools.
