- 0:15Speaker 1: finishing touches on our kitchen done by Boer b O

- 0:23Speaker 1: ninety three WIBC, Good morning, the popcorn moment.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Let's go, Let's go, let's go, let's go. It's a
- 0:28Speaker 2: story you need to hear to believe, and grab your
- 0:30Speaker 2: popcorn because there is more. We are following this crash
- 0:35Speaker 2: on the northwest side.
- 0:36Speaker 1: One person is dead. This is thirty eighth in Michigan.
- 0:41Speaker 1: The pictures are not pretty, for sure. Traffic has been
- 0:47Speaker 1: shut down. You've heard Paul Bodenloss filling in for Matt
- 0:49Speaker 1: Bear today discussing this.
- 0:51Speaker 2: We'll keep an eye on it.
- 0:52Speaker 1: We'll have more throughout the day at WIBC dot com.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I will dig in more to the president's prime time
- 1:01Speaker 1: address last night, which was about voter integrity and the
- 1:05Speaker 1: declassification of documents showing China's trying to be involved in
- 1:09Speaker 1: our election, states that have vulnerabilities, a shadow government run
- 1:15Speaker 1: by those within our government to keep information about voter
- 1:18Speaker 1: integrity issues from the president, a manipulation at daily of
- 1:24Speaker 1: the Presidential Daily Brief, which is an intelligence assessment that
- 1:27Speaker 1: the president gets every single day. And already you have
- 1:31Speaker 1: people out there saying, well, this never happened. Oh, this
- 1:33Speaker 1: is delusional. Trump is just trying to remove your resolve
- 1:38Speaker 1: and respect and faith in our institutions.
- 1:42Speaker 2: They haven't read anything, they don't care to read anything.
- 1:46Speaker 1: I have no idea what the President said in these
- 1:48Speaker 1: declassified documents is going to show that although some things
- 1:52Speaker 1: are already out and oh they show it. They show
- 1:56Speaker 1: what we already knew. Yet, if you are a belief
- 2:00Speaker 1: in a system that might not be working, but it
- 2:03Speaker 1: works for your political benefit, you're going to keep.
- 2:05Speaker 2: That system intact.
- 2:07Speaker 1: When they say Trump rigs elections, then it's okay. When
- 2:11Speaker 1: you question whether or not an election was rigged, then
- 2:13Speaker 1: of course you're trying to destroy the institution.
- 2:16Speaker 2: This is the despicableness that sets up the.
- 2:20Speaker 1: Conversation that Secretary Marco Rubio had just the other day
- 2:25Speaker 1: regarding the rise of left wing extremism and left wing violence.
- 2:30Speaker 1: If you take a look at Noah Rothman's new book
- 2:32Speaker 1: Blood and Progress, it is this discussion. I was discussing
- 2:39Speaker 1: this on my Facebook. My Facebook page has some really
- 2:42Speaker 1: ugly characters that clearly have to block and get rid
- 2:45Speaker 1: of because I think these are the kind of people
- 2:46Speaker 1: who are eventually going to come after somebody. I don't
- 2:49Speaker 1: know if it'll be me, could be they're going to
- 2:51Speaker 1: go after somebody. Like if I were to just read
- 2:54Speaker 1: the words, I would say, that's somebody I would keep
- 2:57Speaker 1: an eye on.
- 2:59Speaker 2: And and wonder if my kids are safe.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Like it's that, it's that just level of madness.
- 3:06Speaker 2: Disagree the name calling and everything else.
- 3:09Speaker 1: It's surreal, and it's it's it's not just you're appropiad
- 3:14Speaker 1: or something about Republicans or conservatives.
- 3:16Speaker 2: No, no, no, no. I don't know how many.
- 3:18Speaker 1: More times I could be called a parasite in one week,
- 3:21Speaker 1: But these people are going for a record. What Marco
- 3:27Speaker 1: Rubio brings to this conversation that if we take a
- 3:31Speaker 1: look at what education has done in the conversation of
- 3:36Speaker 1: extremism and violence when the right does it, it's the
- 3:39Speaker 1: most awful thing in the world. When the left does it.
- 3:42Speaker 1: It may be tragic, but it was righteous. Marco Rubio's
- 3:48Speaker 1: speech here is excellent. I wanted to share with you
- 3:52Speaker 1: some of it.
- 3:54Speaker 2: We are not engaged in some kind of nonsense or
- 4:00Speaker 2: some kind of what about ism.
- 4:04Speaker 1: There is a real issue with violence on the left,
- 4:08Speaker 1: and if we are not willing to address it and
- 4:11Speaker 1: in all the ways it comes, we are going to
- 4:13Speaker 1: get destroyed by it.
- 4:14Speaker 2: And it's the left that needs to address it first.
- 4:17Speaker 3: This is a distinctive and unique evil.
- 4:20Speaker 4: It has always been driven by a hatred above all else,
- 4:24Speaker 4: a hatred for civilization itself. It is a revolt of
- 4:28Speaker 4: the worst against the best, a revolt of the weak
- 4:31Speaker 4: and the cowardly.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Against the strong and the good.
- 4:35Speaker 4: It is perpetrated by those who cannot build, who cannot create,
- 4:40Speaker 4: who cannot achieve great things, and take their revenge upon
- 4:43Speaker 4: the world for their own inadequacy by seeking to destroy
- 4:47Speaker 4: those who can. This is what radical leftism is. It
- 4:53Speaker 4: may wear various different slogans and ideologies across place and time.
- 4:57Speaker 4: They can call themselves anti capitalists or anti imperialists, or communists,
- 5:02Speaker 4: or anarchist or Marxist, but the fundamental character.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Is always the same. It's always the same.
- 5:08Speaker 4: It is a poisonous resentment, cloaked in the language of
- 5:11Speaker 4: equality and justice and liberation, and overwhelming need to tear
- 5:16Speaker 4: down what greater men have built, to wreck what is
- 5:19Speaker 4: beautiful and what is right on behalf of people who
- 5:22Speaker 4: are only filled with ugliness and have nothing else to
- 5:26Speaker 4: offer the world. Through violence and through terror, they once
- 5:30Speaker 4: again seek to impose their ugliness all of us.
- 5:35Speaker 3: The old dogma was wrong. The old dogma was wrong.
- 5:38Speaker 4: None of this is driven by idealism. It is not utopian.
- 5:42Speaker 4: In fact, it is the opposite. One of the criticisms
- 5:48Speaker 4: you sometimes hear of communism, for example, is that it
- 5:51Speaker 4: sounds good in theory, but it never works in practice.
- 5:55Speaker 4: That's actually not true. Communism does not sound good in theory.
- 6:00Speaker 4: The world that envisions for all of us is small, flat, gray,
- 6:06Speaker 4: leveled of all exception, drained of all that is good
- 6:09Speaker 4: and noble in the human soul. The world that envisions
- 6:12Speaker 4: is a world without courage, a world without creativity or ambition,
- 6:17Speaker 4: a world without heroes or glory or great causes to
- 6:20Speaker 4: strive towards, without a world without miracles, without myths, without
- 6:25Speaker 4: men who rise above the rest to do incredible and
- 6:28Speaker 4: extraordinary things. And the world communism and visions is a
- 6:32Speaker 4: world without God. For these architects of revolutionary violence, the
- 6:37Speaker 4: towering achievement of our civilization for them, it's an unbearable humiliation,
- 6:43Speaker 4: a reminder of what they cannot do and a reminder
- 6:46Speaker 4: of what they cannot be.
- 6:48Speaker 3: So they choose instead to destroy.
- 6:50Speaker 4: They attack pipelines, they attack railroads, they attack power grids
- 6:55Speaker 4: and laboratories, the physical embodied symbols of power, an invention
- 7:01Speaker 4: and achievement. This is the nature of the terrorism we
- 7:06Speaker 4: face today. They despise the West because the West is great.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Jd. Vance cannot compete with that.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I mean, if you were announcing you were running for president,
- 7:24Speaker 1: but weren't announcing you were running for president while taking
- 7:26Speaker 1: on what the president has been saying about communists.
- 7:29Speaker 2: That's how you do it.
- 7:32Speaker 1: And it has the added benefit of not only being right,
- 7:35Speaker 1: but being poetic. Yeah, there's a lot of hateful stuff
- 7:40Speaker 1: and your social media feed get off social media. Yes,
- 7:44Speaker 1: those people do creep into your real life, and yes
- 7:46Speaker 1: it's a concern. And yes we have seen threats against
- 7:49Speaker 1: Supreme Court justice and then members of Congress to try
- 7:51Speaker 1: and influence votes, and they try and suppress you with violence.
- 7:55Speaker 1: The answer is, yes, this is what is happening. You're
- 7:58Speaker 1: not crazy. It's real happening right in front of you,
- 8:01Speaker 1: and you're watching it. They have to lose in November,
- 8:07Speaker 1: and then they have to lose into November from now
- 8:10Speaker 1: and every November, and how you are a part of
- 8:14Speaker 1: helping them lose. You got to pull your kids out
- 8:17Speaker 1: from this education nightmare, these universities, these high schools, these
- 8:22Speaker 1: private schools. You have to love your kid more because
- 8:28Speaker 1: the world that they who claim to love your kid
- 8:31Speaker 1: have for your kid, that future they envision, there's nothing
- 8:35Speaker 1: loving about that. Great work by Secretary of Rubio
