- 0:00Speaker 1: Marni seventeen w momar, Well, it's Friday, now tomorrow Saturday,
- 0:09Speaker 1: and it's the first day of early voting mayoral race.
- 0:12Speaker 2: The election actually begins tomorrow. Voting starts tomorrow and it
- 0:16Speaker 2: goes for ten days. Get out there and vote. Vote
- 0:18Speaker 2: for Curtis. We think he'd be the best mayor. But
- 0:21Speaker 2: tomorrow is the first day. Well, we'll get back to
- 0:26Speaker 2: the Merril race. Now, the shutdown has been on for
- 0:29Speaker 2: two weeks. This is the big payday normally for government employees.
- 0:33Speaker 2: They're going to miss a payday to day, and they
- 0:37Speaker 2: tried to take votes every day to what they want
- 0:39Speaker 2: to do. Republicans sign what do they call that? A
- 0:42Speaker 2: clean cry? They've all this jargon, but what it means
- 0:45Speaker 2: is they'd extend the talks. He signed this thing and
- 0:48Speaker 2: it extends everything for seven weeks. That gives you a
- 0:51Speaker 2: chance to negotiate. Every time they bring this up for
- 0:53Speaker 2: a vote, Democrats voted down. They don't want the extension.
- 0:58Speaker 2: President Trump tries to explain.
- 1:00Speaker 3: I think the Democrats have gone totally crazy, and you
- 1:04Speaker 3: don't know what they're gonna do because they don't care
- 1:07Speaker 3: about the people they I really think they have no leadership.
- 1:12Speaker 3: They have a lot of very low IQ people.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Well, you do have some low IQ people. You got
- 1:18Speaker 2: a lot of those aocs. But the real problem is
- 1:20Speaker 2: no leadership. You don't have a clear leader. In the
- 1:23Speaker 2: good old days, it was somebody like Chuck Schumer. Now
- 1:25Speaker 2: he's like an old, washed up has been who's so terrified.
- 1:29Speaker 2: He knows it's over, he knows he can't run for reelection.
- 1:33Speaker 2: AOC has already out raised him like ten to one
- 1:35Speaker 2: in money, and then you got Hakeem Jefferies is not
- 1:38Speaker 2: really a leader. He's trying to be. He's trying to
- 1:40Speaker 2: look serious and look like he has some gravitas, but
- 1:44Speaker 2: not pulling it off at all. So without the leadership,
- 1:47Speaker 2: they can't seem to get anything done. And that's another
- 1:49Speaker 2: problem the Republicans have. There's really nobody to negotiate with.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Schumer is not free to even be Schumer. He's just
- 1:56Speaker 2: so terrified of the left. And that's the problem. So
- 2:01Speaker 2: we'll see, we'll see what happens. You know, this all
- 2:03Speaker 2: started over the healthcare stuff, and it was all caused
- 2:06Speaker 2: by the Obamacare prices going crazy. They were just getting
- 2:11Speaker 2: out of control, and they've got to be something's got
- 2:14Speaker 2: to be done to get them back under control. The
- 2:15Speaker 2: premiums are just going through the roof. Everything has gone crazy.
- 2:20Speaker 2: You remember what they called Obamacare, Remember what the original
- 2:23Speaker 2: name was, the Affordable Care Act. It was supposed to
- 2:26Speaker 2: start that way, but the prices on it went up
- 2:29Speaker 2: like seven hundred percent and it's unaffordable now. You remember
- 2:33Speaker 2: the other thing that was billed as is you like
- 2:35Speaker 2: your doctor, you can keep your doctor. You like your plan,
- 2:38Speaker 2: you can keep your plan. Well, nobody ever saw their
- 2:40Speaker 2: doctor again. All of a sudden, you're in some weird network.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Everybody lost their plan that was under it. It's just
- 2:46Speaker 2: a mess. It needs to be fixed by both sides.
- 2:49Speaker 2: But somebody's got to give in and sign that extension.
- 2:53Speaker 2: It gives you a few more weeks to talk about it. Hey,
- 2:57Speaker 2: this big NBA scandal. You know, I like Steven A,
- 3:02Speaker 2: but sometimes he can say the dumbest things. You know,
- 3:05Speaker 2: he looks like a smart guy and he's always well
- 3:07Speaker 2: dressed and articked, and then every so of he just
- 3:10Speaker 2: says the dumbest stuff. So he's getting a lot of
- 3:13Speaker 2: flack from yesterday because he I don't know what he
- 3:17Speaker 2: was thinking this whole NBA scandal. He was trying to
- 3:19Speaker 2: blame it on Trump. He said, it's Trump that caused this,
- 3:23Speaker 2: it's retribution from Trump cash Brittel, FBI director, he said,
- 3:28Speaker 2: it's about the dumbest comment he's ever heard. This investigation
- 3:32Speaker 2: was started by Joe Biden's administration. The Trump administration just inherited.
- 3:36Speaker 2: It's been going on for about two years. Trump's only
- 3:39Speaker 2: been there whatever it is, eight months, nine months. But again,
- 3:44Speaker 2: this whole it's operation whatever the hell they call it,
- 3:48Speaker 2: it's a Biden era investigation. Most of it done during
- 3:51Speaker 2: the Biden era, so that nothing to do with Trump whatsoever.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Stephen A. Smith, but he hasn't apologized, he hasn't said
- 3:59Speaker 2: it about it yet. Hey, another good thing in New
- 4:03Speaker 2: York if this works, if they actually do this, there's
- 4:06Speaker 2: they've announced a crackdown on e bikes, those electronic bikes
- 4:12Speaker 2: you got it's just chaos in the streets. When it
- 4:15Speaker 2: was all cars, the it was just cars and all
- 4:19Speaker 2: car lanes, you would get bikes riding along the very
- 4:23Speaker 2: edge by the curb, which was that was a safer system.
- 4:26Speaker 2: Now you got bike lanes in the middle of the street,
- 4:28Speaker 2: you got e bikes, you got scooters. You got those
- 4:32Speaker 2: what do you call those things? Those petticabs all over
- 4:34Speaker 2: the place. It's an absolute mess. It's total chaos and
- 4:38Speaker 2: no rules. It's just total chaos. Bikes going through lights,
- 4:42Speaker 2: going the wrong way, going on the sidewalk. You got
- 4:44Speaker 2: to start cracking down on this. So step number one.
- 4:47Speaker 2: There's now a fifteen mile an hour speed limit on
- 4:51Speaker 2: e bikes and they claim they'll enforce this. Now, if
- 4:53Speaker 2: they do, two things will happen. Those bikes will start
- 4:57Speaker 2: to have to behave themselves instead of running lights, being
- 5:01Speaker 2: all over the road and speeding. If that's true, and
- 5:04Speaker 2: they start cracking down giving tickets, they'll have to do that.
- 5:07Speaker 2: And the other thing that'll happen is you'll start generating
- 5:10Speaker 2: a ton of revenue because they go city always claiming
- 5:14Speaker 2: they need more revenue. Crack down on the e bikes,
- 5:16Speaker 2: the petty cabs, speeding, tickets, running lights, running all over
- 5:21Speaker 2: the place. It's a ton of revenue. You could probably
- 5:24Speaker 2: get rid of that congestion pricing. But let's see if
- 5:26Speaker 2: they do it. Let's see if they really crack down. Also,
- 5:28Speaker 2: make all those bikes and everything get licenses. It's another
- 5:31Speaker 2: source of revenue. You have to pay for a license
- 5:34Speaker 2: every year. Now, speaking of congestion pricing, you'll notice in
- 5:38Speaker 2: the debate, Mom Donnie said he would keep the congestion pricing.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Is all for it. But you'll notice Cuomo said that too.
- 5:45Speaker 2: I guess he thought he had to since he created it.
- 5:48Speaker 2: He's the guy that gave us congestion pricing. He's the
- 5:51Speaker 2: one that pushed it through, got it passed, and then
- 5:54Speaker 2: Hokel used it. But he said he would keep it.
- 5:57Speaker 2: He's all for it. Mayoral race, I don't know. Eric
- 6:02Speaker 2: Adams yesterday endorsing Cuomo. He says he'll go out and
- 6:05Speaker 2: campaign with him. I don't know how much that helps.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Adams was in single digits, but he's gonna fight for Cuomo.
- 6:11Speaker 4: Am I angry that I'm not the one taking down Zoran,
- 6:15Speaker 4: the socialists and the communists. You're dawn right, I am,
- 6:19Speaker 4: but you know what the city means more to me
- 6:21Speaker 4: than anything, and it is time for us as a
- 6:25Speaker 4: family to come together.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's on principle, But on the other hand, remember
- 6:30Speaker 2: there were massive, big, big donors with billions of dollars
- 6:35Speaker 2: trying to spread it around, trying to do whatever they
- 6:37Speaker 2: could to help Cuomo, get Curtis out, whatever, Who knows,
- 6:40Speaker 2: who knows why Adams is suddenly on board? Who knows?
- 6:43Speaker 2: Corrupt birds of a feather flock to get That's cursed
- 6:47Speaker 2: about that.
- 6:47Speaker 5: Anybody who was going to vote for Rick Adams I
- 6:51Speaker 5: have to wonder with they've.
- 6:53Speaker 4: Been these last four years because he is the most
- 6:57Speaker 4: corrupt man in the history.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Of New York. So, Hey, Andrew Plumbo, you could have whatever.
- 7:02Speaker 4: Vote she had.
- 7:03Speaker 6: I don't ever want Rik Adams boots.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Now, you gotta admit Adams when he took office put
- 7:09Speaker 2: in some of the sleaziest people. The first few years
- 7:13Speaker 2: of the Adams administration, in fact, how many of them
- 7:15Speaker 2: got indicted, how many of them got arrested, how many
- 7:17Speaker 2: of them are going to trial? It was pretty bad.
- 7:20Speaker 2: But the last year Adams straightened out and it became
- 7:25Speaker 2: pretty good. He brought in Randy Mastro to be the
- 7:28Speaker 2: deputy mayor running things. Mastro is great. You couldn't ask
- 7:31Speaker 2: for a better guy to run city hall. He was
- 7:33Speaker 2: Giuliani's guy for eight years. And then he brought in
- 7:37Speaker 2: Jessica Tish, excellent police commissioner. And under the first few
- 7:42Speaker 2: years of Adams there was tremendous corruption in the NYPD
- 7:47Speaker 2: at very high levels, but Jessica Tish came in and
- 7:50Speaker 2: cleaned it out. It was about ten or fifteen people
- 7:53Speaker 2: and she fired him all, some of them pretty big people.
- 7:55Speaker 2: But she immediately give her credit cleaned it up. So Adams,
- 7:59Speaker 2: the last six months things have been fine. Now Cuomo
- 8:03Speaker 2: has said he will keep Jessica Tish, and Mom Donnie
- 8:06Speaker 2: shocked a lot of people in the debate by saying
- 8:09Speaker 2: he will keep Jessica Tish. If that's the case, that
- 8:12Speaker 2: would reassure a lot of people. But if you go
- 8:15Speaker 2: back and play the video again and analyze it, he
- 8:19Speaker 2: didn't exactly say he would definitely keep her. He said
- 8:23Speaker 2: he would consider keeping. There was some wiggle room in it.
- 8:27Speaker 2: There was some weasel room. And even if he said
- 8:29Speaker 2: I will ask her to stay on, well, what does
- 8:33Speaker 2: that mean for a week, for a month? Fire her
- 8:36Speaker 2: in six months? Obviously, if you had your own idea
- 8:39Speaker 2: for a commissioner, you would take office and she would
- 8:41Speaker 2: stay on until you're whoever your replacement is was ready.
- 8:45Speaker 2: So would she stay on? What you want to stay with?
- 8:47Speaker 2: Mom Donnie, Well, that's the problem. She did work under
- 8:50Speaker 2: Deblasio which was pretty bad, and she did take over
- 8:56Speaker 2: in the Atoms when things were still a mess there.
- 8:59Speaker 2: But she would stay on. But you never know. If
- 9:02Speaker 2: he starts interfering, if he starts tampering and things starts
- 9:05Speaker 2: restricting the police, she'd probably, knowing her, she would quit
- 9:08Speaker 2: on principle and not put up with it. Donald Trump Junior,
- 9:11Speaker 2: weighing in on Mom Donnie.
- 9:12Speaker 7: Perhaps it's exactly what we need as a country. You know,
- 9:15Speaker 7: you hate to see New York failure, the birthplace off
- 9:18Speaker 7: Wall Street, the birthplace of American capitalism, go down in flames.
- 9:23Speaker 7: But perhaps that's the lesson we all have to see.
- 9:25Speaker 7: If the rest of the country watches New York fail,
- 9:28Speaker 7: and I believe it will under these disastrous ideas, you know,
- 9:32Speaker 7: maybe that's what we need to stop the spread of
- 9:35Speaker 7: this scourge, of this disease of communism in America.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Well he's not alone. I mean, I don't know about that,
- 9:42Speaker 2: but there's some people that think that it's better to
- 9:44Speaker 2: get Mom donnie. Let him be a total disaster. Everybody's
- 9:48Speaker 2: been trying to figure out what to do about the
- 9:50Speaker 2: Democratic this woke, crazy, insane, far left nonsense. Even a
- 9:56Speaker 2: lot of Democrats are trying to figure out how to
- 9:58Speaker 2: stop it. So maybe a total Mom Donni disaster. But
- 10:02Speaker 2: we've already tested it, we already watched it. It happened in Chicago,
- 10:05Speaker 2: it happened in San Francisco. It's happened all over the place,
- 10:07Speaker 2: and it doesn't seem to be a lesson that resonates anywhere.
- 10:12Speaker 2: From what I hear, you know, Mom Donnie is funded.
- 10:15Speaker 2: There's a lot of money funding Mom Donnie, a lot
- 10:18Speaker 2: of George Soros type money flowing in millions, many, many millions.
- 10:23Speaker 2: And from what I hear, they got another twenty six.
- 10:25Speaker 2: Mom Donnie's ready to go. They'll run them in other cities.
- 10:29Speaker 2: You know, they got them like a central training headquarters
- 10:33Speaker 2: where they like an academy where they train them how
- 10:36Speaker 2: to be like Mom Donnie, you know, be good in
- 10:37Speaker 2: the debates, say all the right stuff, have that slick look.
- 10:41Speaker 2: There's about twenty six, Mom Donnie's ready to go. So
- 10:45Speaker 2: this idea, let New York go up in flames. So
- 10:48Speaker 2: everybody sees it, learns their lesson. It's great, but not
- 10:53Speaker 2: for us. We're going to have to live through this
- 10:55Speaker 2: if it is, Mom Donnie. I just remember we got
- 10:59Speaker 2: through eight years at the Lazio. We made it through
- 11:01Speaker 2: the Blasio, so you never know. Mom Donnie was using that.
- 11:04Speaker 2: He's got a lot of commercials. Now you see more
- 11:06Speaker 2: and more commercials now. Last few weeks it was mostly
- 11:09Speaker 2: Curtis running TV commercials. Now it's everybody. But there's one
- 11:13Speaker 2: Mom Donnie commercial where it uses a New York Knicks
- 11:17Speaker 2: uniform with his name on it. It implies that there's
- 11:19Speaker 2: somehow there's a New York Knicks connection to Mom Donnie.
- 11:22Speaker 2: The New York Knicks have sued him. They've they got
- 11:25Speaker 2: a cease and desist order. They want him to stop
- 11:28Speaker 2: using their logo, their uniform or anything in the commercials.
- 11:32Speaker 2: They want nothing to nothing to do with them. You know,
- 11:35Speaker 2: there's a candidate in Long Island who's running for a
- 11:39Speaker 2: DA or something and there's some commercial from the opposition
- 11:46Speaker 2: tying her to Mom Donnie. So she's suing the GOP.
- 11:50Speaker 2: She wants nothing to do with Mom Donnie. I think
- 11:52Speaker 2: she's a Democrat. She just wants no connection. She's a
- 11:54Speaker 2: Democrat suing the GOP for trying to connect her in
- 11:58Speaker 2: any way to Mom Donnie. So again, he's very, very
- 12:02Speaker 2: unpopular with a lot of Democrats. Too. Hey, remember Bob Menendez.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Bob Menendez who went to jail. He's the senator with
- 12:12Speaker 2: the gold bars. We're recommending books today. There's a great
- 12:16Speaker 2: book that just came out. Isabelle Vincent, big, big investigative
- 12:20Speaker 2: reporter in New York Post, and she's written a lot
- 12:24Speaker 2: of great books. She's written books about all sorts of stuff.
- 12:26Speaker 2: But her new book is called gold Bar Bob. If
- 12:30Speaker 2: you want the real Bob Menendez story. And by the way,
- 12:33Speaker 2: if you're a movie producer, you might want to get
- 12:35Speaker 2: this book. It'd be a great movie. Gold Bar Bob
- 12:38Speaker 2: goes through the whole Menendez story. But you got to
- 12:41Speaker 2: read this because it takes you all through this New
- 12:44Speaker 2: Jersey mafia connection, the Caribbean, Latin America, the Middle East,
- 12:48Speaker 2: the personal campaign contributions, the way he aided others, interfered
- 12:54Speaker 2: in criminal prosecutions, defrauded medicare questionable visa. It's fast senating stuff.
- 13:00Speaker 2: But take a look at this book. It's called gold
- 13:04Speaker 2: Bar Bob Downfall of the Most Corrupt US Senator. So
- 13:08Speaker 2: if you're in New Jersey you might want to read
- 13:10Speaker 2: or anyway, gold Bar Bob speaking in New Jersey looks
- 13:14Speaker 2: like it's tied. We don't have any definitive polling there,
- 13:20Speaker 2: but it's very, very close. Chitarelly just lost by a little.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Now here's the problem. Nothing personal in New Jersey, but
- 13:29Speaker 2: your voting system. There's a lot of funny business goes
- 13:32Speaker 2: on in New Jersey. Even Democrats I'm talking about the
- 13:36Speaker 2: insiders will tell you officials, people that know all this stuff.
- 13:42Speaker 2: You know, you can't win by one two percent. It
- 13:45Speaker 2: won't cover the cheating in the New Jersey voting system.
- 13:48Speaker 2: You got to win by like three, four or five
- 13:50Speaker 2: percent to cover that. So so far Chittarelly hasn't been
- 13:53Speaker 2: able to get that kind of lead. Hey, well, take
- 13:55Speaker 2: some calls in a minute eight hundred three to two
- 13:58Speaker 2: one zero seven ten. Oh and by the way, in
- 14:00Speaker 2: a few minutes, we'll talk to the greatest polster in
- 14:03Speaker 2: the world and see what he knows about the New
- 14:05Speaker 2: York race and New Jersey race. We'll get to all
- 14:07Speaker 2: of that coming up, but we'll take some calls next
- 14:10Speaker 2: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 14:14Speaker 4: Get instant access to Mark by setting a pre set
- 14:17Speaker 4: in the iHeartRadio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone show on woor.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike,
- 14:30Speaker 2: how you doing? Good morning, Mark, Yes, Mike.
- 14:35Speaker 8: Got to pass line eight.
- 14:38Speaker 6: I was going to ask you if you want to
- 14:39Speaker 6: do Clerry.
- 14:40Speaker 5: Como because I was out on YouTube today listening to
- 14:43Speaker 5: some of my favorites of his new one and Round
- 14:45Speaker 5: being my number one?
- 14:47Speaker 7: Is this wonder? If you know him?
- 14:48Speaker 2: Oh? I knew Perry Como. Yeah. You lived in Sands
- 14:51Speaker 2: Point Long Island much of his life, and then he
- 14:54Speaker 2: moved to Florida, Jupiter, Florida. He was a great guy,
- 14:58Speaker 2: one of the few that exactly the same as off
- 15:02Speaker 2: the airs on the air, great singer, and people forget
- 15:06Speaker 2: late fifties, like nineteen fifty five to sixty one. He
- 15:08Speaker 2: was like the number one show on television. Part of
- 15:11Speaker 2: that time. He was on against Jackie Gleeson and the
- 15:13Speaker 2: Honeymooners and he beat them every week. He was phenomenal.
- 15:17Speaker 2: And yeah, go on YouTube take a look at some
- 15:18Speaker 2: old Perry Como shows. It was quite revolutionary for its time.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Let's go to George Port Jefferson. George, how you doing, Hi?
- 15:27Speaker 9: I'm watching the Two Good New Friends Cuomo with Adams. Yeah,
- 15:32Speaker 9: they like best buds. They could double date two eligible
- 15:36Speaker 9: Baptist Maybe Curtis could introduce them to tool.
- 15:39Speaker 2: Well, you gotta remember there's big billionaire donor money floating
- 15:42Speaker 2: around and helped Cuomo Adams. Well you do the math.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Let's go to Mara in Nevada.
- 15:50Speaker 8: Mara, how you doing, marcam I'm calling about it a
- 15:53Speaker 8: gambling story, but first I want to welcome Christina. She
- 15:57Speaker 8: called the other day. She said she's ninety. She is
- 16:00Speaker 8: now a member of Marks Golden All these fantom here's
- 16:04Speaker 8: my gambling story. It's back in the fifties. My father
- 16:08Speaker 8: was retired. We go to Florida, work in a hotel
- 16:11Speaker 8: catering too Armenians. He was the busboy at the illegal
- 16:14Speaker 8: poker games that year and he brings sandwiches and things.
- 16:18Speaker 8: They tip them. That year he came home with the DeSoto,
- 16:21Speaker 8: not Brandon, but now two years later, one of the
- 16:24Speaker 8: guys that pulled to me favor here's the d to
- 16:27Speaker 8: my house, lent me three thousand dollars.
- 16:30Speaker 6: Man.
- 16:30Speaker 8: My father thought, good, yeah, if I don't pay you
- 16:33Speaker 8: with six months since suarts. My father had a house
- 16:36Speaker 8: in Kendall, Florida, in six months.
- 16:38Speaker 2: Wow. Did he work with Moe Green or Afredo or.
- 16:42Speaker 8: There could have been, but there were Armenians there, you know,
- 16:44Speaker 8: there's the Armenian mafia too.
- 16:46Speaker 3: Mark.
- 16:46Speaker 2: All right, well thanks for calling. Let's go to UH
- 16:49Speaker 2: Michael and Queen's Michael. How you doing?
- 16:53Speaker 6: Hello? How are you doing? You?
- 16:54Speaker 2: Hear me?
- 16:54Speaker 9: Mark?
- 16:54Speaker 2: Yea, yeah, go ahead, I want.
- 16:56Speaker 5: To I just want to commend you a being the
- 16:58Speaker 5: only guy in New York City Monday when you got
- 17:01Speaker 5: it right when you said that the survey, that poll
- 17:04Speaker 5: that everybody was basing UH that Curtis back out of
- 17:08Speaker 5: was based by and run by lobbyist Homo. I congratulate you.
- 17:12Speaker 2: And he only do we get do we bleep that
- 17:14Speaker 2: out and then stop picking on him? He's our friend.
- 17:17Speaker 2: Let's go to UH Sandy in West New York, New Jersey.
- 17:24Speaker 7: Good morning, Yes, Mark, I wanted to tell you that
- 17:28Speaker 7: I learned.
- 17:28Speaker 6: That the UH. The first of all, I want to say,
- 17:34Speaker 6: the Orthodox Jews are very concerned about this selection, very
- 17:38Speaker 6: much so that oh it's this Sandy.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Sorry. Let's go to uh uh Anthony and Edison Anthony.
- 17:47Speaker 2: She always disguises himself.
- 17:52Speaker 6: The Democrats over here in New Jersey. Quick delay Trump
- 17:55Speaker 6: out saying that he spikedly handled this gateway project. I'm
- 17:59Speaker 6: gonna you got to give me the stinty on that.
- 18:02Speaker 2: Yeah, he canceled the gateway project. This is part of
- 18:06Speaker 2: fighting back in the shutdown. It's canceled until it's uncanceled.
- 18:11Speaker 2: End the shutdown, start negotiating, and the Gateway project is back.
- 18:16Speaker 2: And that's the way Trump does things. He starts the
- 18:19Speaker 2: negotiation by taking away something. It just gives him more
- 18:24Speaker 2: power than negotiation. You know, you go into the negotiation saying, well,
- 18:31Speaker 2: if it gets really bad, I'll threaten to soothe him
- 18:36Speaker 2: if it gets really bad. Now what Trump does. He
- 18:40Speaker 2: sues you before he even shows up, so the lawsuit
- 18:43Speaker 2: is on. Then he goes into the negotiation and he's
- 18:46Speaker 2: got some leverage he can offer to drop the suit.
- 18:49Speaker 2: It's just the way he negotiates, and he's been very
- 18:52Speaker 2: successful at it. Let's go to Fran in Massapequa. Fran,
- 18:56Speaker 2: how you doing, my man mark?
- 18:59Speaker 6: How you people to keep up the great work. You're
- 19:04Speaker 6: a beacon of truth.
- 19:06Speaker 2: Oh right, there's gonna be a button here.
- 19:09Speaker 6: Yeah, no, no bucks.
- 19:11Speaker 10: I want to know why when they showed the No
- 19:14Speaker 10: Kings march and most of the liberal protests. There are
- 19:18Speaker 10: a lot of white, fat liberal women, young pinkhead you know, girlies,
- 19:24Speaker 10: and some boys.
- 19:27Speaker 2: People keep asking that how come it was so white,
- 19:30Speaker 2: so old that no Kings march. You gotta remember, these
- 19:34Speaker 2: are older. It's these are people have nothing to do
- 19:36Speaker 2: all day. They're not working, they've they've got nothing going on,
- 19:40Speaker 2: they're retired, They're sitting at home all day getting old
- 19:42Speaker 2: riled up. They're watching MSNBC and CNN. You know the
- 19:46Speaker 2: average age of the MSNBC viewer. I think it's seventy
- 19:49Speaker 2: two now, No, seriously, and uh, it's an older, older,
- 19:53Speaker 2: older crowd that march.
- 19:55Speaker 6: Uh.
- 19:56Speaker 2: You know, if you're younger, you got more going on.
- 19:59Speaker 2: You're busy. You know, I don't have time to go
- 20:01Speaker 2: to a No King's March. So it was a very
- 20:04Speaker 2: old crowd and they put on those crazy costumes and
- 20:08Speaker 2: the whole thing. It just looked like Halloween at the
- 20:10Speaker 2: Senior Center. It was just absolutely ridiculous. Hey, when we
- 20:13Speaker 2: come back, we haven't had any real polls in this race.
- 20:16Speaker 2: There's these junk college polls and these little nothing polling
- 20:22Speaker 2: companies you never heard of. We'll talk to the greatest
- 20:24Speaker 2: polster in the world. Next on seven to ten WR,
- 20:30Speaker 2: let's get.
- 20:30Speaker 1: Back to the Mark Simone Show on wo on.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Well, you know, you see these media polls, college polls,
- 20:38Speaker 2: They're all terrible, just these junk poles you see polling
- 20:41Speaker 2: companies you never heard of. The biggest and best poster
- 20:44Speaker 2: in the world is John McLaughlin. This is the one
- 20:46Speaker 2: presidents and prime ministers and the biggest campaigns use. John
- 20:51Speaker 2: McLaughlin has. The website is McLaughlin online dot com and
- 20:55Speaker 2: he's with us. Now, John McLachlin, how you doing.
- 20:59Speaker 6: I'm doing well because you say very nice, flattering things.
- 21:03Speaker 6: But I'm fortunate that I've polled for Donald Trump. And
- 21:06Speaker 6: as you and I have discussed before, President Trump proved
- 21:10Speaker 6: that polls rite a long time ago in twenty sixteen
- 21:12Speaker 6: and has done so since. So I guess, yeah, we'll
- 21:17Speaker 6: see about well, now he's talking you know, some of
- 21:19Speaker 6: his friends that talking to him about twenty twenty eight.
- 21:22Speaker 6: We'll see. Well, so I think I think, yeah, I
- 21:26Speaker 6: don't think that's I don't think that's going to happen.
- 21:28Speaker 6: So that's I get to listen to the nice things
- 21:32Speaker 6: people say about our polls, because last year we said
- 21:34Speaker 6: he was going to sweep his battleground states and when
- 21:37Speaker 6: the popular vote and he proves that true.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Yeah, just explain to people these public polls they're cheap, flimsy.
- 21:42Speaker 2: They're like five hundred people, a thousand people. That's not
- 21:45Speaker 2: always likely voters. I mean, what you do is much
- 21:47Speaker 2: more scientific, elaborate, much much bigger scale. So but we
- 21:51Speaker 2: haven't had a real poll from a real what they
- 21:54Speaker 2: call the internals by any of the campaigns. Have we
- 22:00Speaker 2: really And when.
- 22:01Speaker 6: You're looking at I mean when you look at national polls,
- 22:03Speaker 6: like they've gone back to their biased against the president
- 22:08Speaker 6: and they're kind of right. It could be I legal immigrant,
- 22:10Speaker 6: they have cell phones. I mean, it's serious. Some of
- 22:13Speaker 6: these polls, like there was a poll out last week Economists.
- 22:16Speaker 6: You go of online, so there's an online poll and
- 22:19Speaker 6: they had when you go into their internals, they have
- 22:22Speaker 6: more liberal it's so wrong. They have more liberals and conservatives.
- 22:25Speaker 6: That's the opposite of the exit poles from West November.
- 22:29Speaker 6: And they have more Democrats and Republicans. Again it's the
- 22:33Speaker 6: opposite of the exit polse. The big killer is this
- 22:36Speaker 6: Economists Ugo poland was done like the October twentieth they
- 22:40Speaker 6: and they had that they had like twelve hundred people,
- 22:44Speaker 6: but they're supposedly you know, adults, but they had only
- 22:49Speaker 6: thirty five percent Trump voters. We got fifty percent. So
- 22:53Speaker 6: when they come out with a job approval for President
- 22:56Speaker 6: Trump of forty three percent, it means they're short as
- 22:59Speaker 6: fifty points just they had because nine out of ten
- 23:04Speaker 6: Trump voters still approved the job he's doing at least,
- 23:07Speaker 6: if not one hundred percent. So you get so just
- 23:10Speaker 6: add fifteen to the forty three, that'd be fifty eight.
- 23:13Speaker 6: So the better polls have them like we had in September,
- 23:17Speaker 6: we had a forty nine percent for forty six disapproved.
- 23:20Speaker 2: We had the.
- 23:20Speaker 6: Republicans winning for Congress forty seven to forty one. But
- 23:24Speaker 6: it was a thousand likely voters. We know the voters
- 23:27Speaker 6: were contacting the voters. We're asking them how likely they
- 23:30Speaker 6: are to vote, because it's a big difference because in
- 23:33Speaker 6: the last national election you had our hundred sixty million
- 23:36Speaker 6: people vote apart me, one hundred and fifty six million
- 23:40Speaker 6: people voted. It was one hundred and sixteen twenty twenty,
- 23:43Speaker 6: So that's out of a universe of you know, like
- 23:47Speaker 6: two hundred and fifty two hundred and sixty adults in
- 23:50Speaker 6: the United States. And then when you get to when
- 23:54Speaker 6: you get to the midterm elections, the midterm the elections
- 23:59Speaker 6: go even further. So in twenty eighteen, one hundred and
- 24:02Speaker 6: eighteen million people come out, and in twenty twenty two
- 24:06Speaker 6: it was one hundred and twelve million. So nationally, when
- 24:10Speaker 6: you're saying a thousand likely voters trying to represent a universe,
- 24:13Speaker 6: it's the universe of probably about one hundred and ten
- 24:16Speaker 6: one hundred and twenty million voters that are probably going
- 24:18Speaker 6: to come out, and poles really don't predict turnout. You
- 24:21Speaker 6: have to look at other barometers when you get close
- 24:23Speaker 6: to the election.
- 24:24Speaker 2: Well, now let me ask you about the mayoral race.
- 24:26Speaker 2: I know you haven't pulled it. Nobody's really pulled. No
- 24:28Speaker 2: real top polling companies done this mayoral race. But what
- 24:31Speaker 2: is your sense right now? Is Mom Donnie on track
- 24:34Speaker 2: to win? Has he been losing steam? Is Cuomo gaining?
- 24:38Speaker 6: By the way, we did poland January for Betsy McCoy
- 24:41Speaker 6: first her Save our City project, and back then we
- 24:44Speaker 6: had only thirty one percent of the Democrat parwer voters
- 24:47Speaker 6: preferring Cuomo. And when you have the second choice, cause
- 24:51Speaker 6: that grant choice voter was only five. So I told Betsy,
- 24:54Speaker 6: he's not going to win. It's just and it seemed
- 24:59Speaker 6: to be right for the primary, but Mondomie hadn't emerged.
- 25:04Speaker 6: And when you look at it, like the Fox News
- 25:06Speaker 6: pole that came out, and it was like October fourteenth
- 25:09Speaker 6: was the day that came out. The difficult part is
- 25:13Speaker 6: Mondomie's the most favorable of the candidates, so they had
- 25:16Speaker 6: Mondomi ahead, but he had a fifty eight to thirty
- 25:18Speaker 6: seven farewell unfairwell, while Cuomo in that poll was fifty
- 25:22Speaker 6: to forty eight and Curtis was thirty six to fifty
- 25:25Speaker 6: three farewell to unfarewell. And then there was the ar
- 25:30Speaker 6: the AA RP pole, which was one thousand and forty
- 25:34Speaker 6: likely voters that got them did and it was mild
- 25:37Speaker 6: after the last male race was kind of a snoozer
- 25:40Speaker 6: with Adams and so you only had a million people.
- 25:45Speaker 6: So you know, when you think about it in the city,
- 25:48Speaker 6: you could have one point eight million voted. When I
- 25:51Speaker 6: was pulling for Leeze Eldon and we were in a
- 25:53Speaker 6: close race with Hockel, there was one point eight million
- 25:55Speaker 6: people came out in the city, or when I was
- 25:56Speaker 6: polling for President Trump, they had two and a half million.
- 25:59Speaker 6: Peace will come out in those races, you know, Lee
- 26:03Speaker 6: and President Trump did as well as a Republican could
- 26:06Speaker 6: do in the city where we got thirty percent. And
- 26:09Speaker 6: so this aar P pole. When you're looking at it,
- 26:12Speaker 6: it's probably tilted, it's probably too old and may not
- 26:15Speaker 6: be democratic enough. Yeah it yeah in it, but they
- 26:20Speaker 6: have they had. That's the one that caused the stir
- 26:23Speaker 6: where you had the three where you had a Mandamie
- 26:27Speaker 6: at forty three in Cuoma twenty nine and Curtis at nineteen.
- 26:31Speaker 6: So Curtis is running behind where Trump and Zelden were,
- 26:34Speaker 6: but in the two way. That's because it was an
- 26:36Speaker 6: older sample, maybe a little light on the Democrats. It
- 26:40Speaker 6: was forty five Mandami forty one Cuomo, and that's when
- 26:43Speaker 6: they all started. Curtis got to get out now, Curtis
- 26:46Speaker 6: needs to be Curtis and Cuomo needed to be going
- 26:49Speaker 6: after Mundami in a heavy way since all summer. They
- 26:53Speaker 6: should have been, but they've been. You know, these all
- 26:56Speaker 6: these people like you say, the billionaires who don't know
- 26:58Speaker 6: what they're doing, been playing musical chairs, saying, oh this
- 27:02Speaker 6: once you get out this, once you get out the
- 27:03Speaker 6: problem is when you look at the internals of that poll,
- 27:06Speaker 6: Mondammie is a net positive forty eight to forty five
- 27:10Speaker 6: faarble to unfavorable, and Curtis is thirty five fairuell forty
- 27:15Speaker 6: seven unfairal So he's a net negative and Cuomo's a
- 27:18Speaker 6: net negative thirty seven faarabele to forty eight unfavorable.
- 27:21Speaker 2: But now you said, yeah, but you said, way back
- 27:24Speaker 2: months ago, you said, the only way to stop mom Donnie,
- 27:26Speaker 2: You're going to have to have them bombard the airwaves
- 27:29Speaker 2: with negative ads, bring out his negatives, drive up his unfavorables.
- 27:32Speaker 2: Where were the donors. They didn't do it, none of
- 27:34Speaker 2: the packs. Where were they.
- 27:37Speaker 6: No, by the way, I don't use the word negative
- 27:40Speaker 6: issue adds issue ads, but where were they They They sat,
- 27:44Speaker 6: they set it out, Well, it's cheaper that way, it
- 27:48Speaker 6: don't It didn't cost him anything. I mean, Cuomo wastes
- 27:51Speaker 6: a lot of their.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Money in the primary.
- 27:53Speaker 6: And now now you know, but you have you know,
- 27:57Speaker 6: like we were in President Trump's campaign, the contrast between
- 28:01Speaker 6: his job as president versus Biden and Harris the job
- 28:04Speaker 6: they had done, and people respond to issues. Now you're
- 28:08Speaker 6: seeing you know, kitchen sink ads coming out about Mundomie's
- 28:12Speaker 6: positions on the issues. About legalizing prostitution, it'll increase human trafficking.
- 28:16Speaker 6: He wants to legalize drugs, it'll increase drug use on
- 28:20Speaker 6: the subways. Him defunding the you know, closing jails, defund
- 28:24Speaker 6: By the way, the one who won the last two
- 28:27Speaker 6: mayoral debates is Bruce Blakeman in Nassau because works for
- 28:32Speaker 6: Bruce out there. Bruce has done a great job. He's
- 28:35Speaker 6: cut taxes, he's refused to raise taxes in four years.
- 28:39Speaker 6: He's hired hundreds of new police officers. They're the Savis
- 28:42Speaker 6: County in America and so Mondamie in Nasau County has
- 28:46Speaker 6: a twenty five favorable he has to sixty nine percent.
- 28:52Speaker 2: Right, there's no chance of Blakeman leasing we hope.
- 28:54Speaker 6: Well, he can't take it for granted. It's an eight
- 28:56Speaker 6: point Democrat county. So there's more Democrats in Nassau than
- 28:59Speaker 6: there are Republicans.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Everybody get out, Yeah, everybody vote for Bruce Blakeman. Well,
- 29:04Speaker 2: just about it. We got like a minute left. What
- 29:05Speaker 2: do you think is going to happen in this election?
- 29:07Speaker 2: Turnout wise, Well, we get a big turnout can make
- 29:09Speaker 2: a difference.
- 29:10Speaker 6: You think we'll get it, Well on Saturday, they start tomorrow,
- 29:13Speaker 6: they start voting early, so you'll have actual counts of
- 29:17Speaker 6: people by party, by registration, by Burrow. And if it's
- 29:20Speaker 6: like the primary room, Mandmie's his nonprofits, that stores funds,
- 29:25Speaker 6: et cetera. If they start getting people online and voting,
- 29:28Speaker 6: that won't be good for Andrew Cuomo Curtis Leer. So
- 29:32Speaker 6: you know, so if you, if you, if you care
- 29:36Speaker 6: about New York City like we do, you need to
- 29:38Speaker 6: make sure that it's not just you know, the people
- 29:42Speaker 6: need MONDMI organization.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Can't you got to get out and vote. Hey, Clomo
- 29:47Speaker 2: had a pretty good debate. Surprised everybody? Does that mean anything?
- 29:50Speaker 2: Is that going to help? Is it too late?
- 29:52Speaker 6: It definitely helps, And it's not too late until election day.
- 29:56Speaker 6: You got to you know, I mean it's bout forty
- 29:59Speaker 6: five forty one close. You know, granted, he's he's still
- 30:04Speaker 6: got to do a lot of issue education and a
- 30:06Speaker 6: short amount of time on Mondmie's on the on the
- 30:09Speaker 6: record between them and and and you know that's the
- 30:11Speaker 6: probably that's why Curtis still has has a significant amount
- 30:15Speaker 6: of the vote because there's a lot of people that
- 30:16Speaker 6: remember Cuomo was the guy who gave us cashless Vale
- 30:19Speaker 6: casas Bale has like been really bad for you. So
- 30:25Speaker 6: so as far as the election goes, you know, Clomo's
- 30:28Speaker 6: got to he's got to make up a lot of
- 30:29Speaker 6: ground against Mondamie where the final points could be the
- 30:33Speaker 6: toughest points to uh to recapture. And you've got you know,
- 30:37Speaker 6: and you got other races, like you've got more Maron
- 30:39Speaker 6: given Alvin Bragg, a race that's been you know, over
- 30:43Speaker 6: shadowed by the male race.
- 30:45Speaker 2: It would be great everybody votes for maud Maren for DA,
- 30:48Speaker 2: get rid of Alvin Bragg, maud Maren for DA. John McLoughlin,
- 30:52Speaker 2: we're out of time, but we'll do it again very
- 30:54Speaker 2: soon because we we always want to hear from you.
- 30:56Speaker 2: John mcloughlam the biggest of the best polster in the world.
- 31:00Speaker 2: McLaughlin Online dot Com is his website. John McLaughlin, thanks
